We qualified each rally obedience run (despite large areas requiring handler improvement <3) and finished the weekend with a 97, 84, and 97. This baby dog now has her Rally Advanced title!

i have these pmd OCs ived played through every game as (excluding gates to infinity). the idea being they reincarnate every once in a while and are destined to save the world together as partners, kinda soulmates who find each other in every life core. :)

the human is always a girl turned into a Pikachu named Frannie (Francis). and Mew reincarnates as a Squirtle named Kai (Aukai) their personalities change with each life, sometimes theyre just besties, sometimes its /romantic

my favorite series of games were the Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky, so it gets my fave incarnation of the two lol. i try to have their personalities match with how the characters act in the game, so Frannie in this life is selectively mute, Kai has a knack for understanding what she's trying to say and usually translates for everyone. Kai's a bit cowardly, bit of a bookworm, yearns for adventure, and discovers his courage alongside his friend. Frannie's brave, dives into danger, and naturally takes to leadership of their rescue team. in my little doodle, i figured Kai took a hit to protect Frannie and she's kinda frustrated at him for doing that, knowing she can take care of herself, but he just wants to keep his friend safe. ;___; <3

random note about king on that animation, i got really lucky with how simple his animation was and how clean my sketches were to begin with that i was able to do very minimal cleanup on what i had sketched (and add back. his horn. it's supposed to take place just after echoes of the past, Oops) and call it done that way instead of having to redraw the entire thing like i had to on his dad

first sketch > line cleanup > nearly final animation (i'd added slight eye movements last-second but otherwise that's the final)

I AM NOT AN ANIMATOR I AM JUST A HOBBYIST... #i animate like once a year... shits hard man.... but apparently when i do animate. its extremely good :) proud of that #even if i have an extremely unhinged way of animating #i don't have an animation program i draw everything individually frame by frame in photoshop #each character had their own psd file with the same background and every frame was its own group. twice. one for sketch one for colors #i do test takes with gifcam (there are literally 55 WIP gifs in my documents folder rn) by switching between layers and taking a 'frame' #and i compile in blender's video editor and to move things separately i save each character's frame in its own .png 'cel' #so luz was her own 'cel'. king was his own 'cel.' etc. and then i have to manually slide the lengths of the frames around #to match the right framerate. traditionally animation is animated at 24 FPS on 2's - so 12 frames a second. i go on 3s. 4 to slow down #anime-ass framerate. i'm insane apparently but its what i like to do #i dont understand real animation programs they have too many pieces but i DO understand photoshop and my funny brushes #imagine having Digital Programs and Still basically doing ye olde traditional animation method just in the computer #if im Just making a gif then i only use gifcam and switch between layers. like digital stop motion. somethings wrong with me

#Hatsune Miku #VOCALOID #or rather #piapro characters #Hatsune Miku Single String Ver. #<- yep that's the fan module I made for fun last year #the thing is. only half a month to go until it's mid autumn. and every year I try to draw something for the occasion #I just. started early this year... for some reason...... #well I mostly just wanna draw Her lmao. because the pokemon/miku voltage stuff is still being released and Im feelin the effect #and this year's magical miral design is so fuckign good.... thank u to miku artists. especially LAM and rella #as is always the case with this module the instrument/weapon (lol) she uses is a heavily stylized đàn bầu! #and I just realized while drawing this and looking at the ref sheets that I never detailed the pluck lmao #to be fair. usually its just like a piece of. anything #commonly bamboo or bone or plastic. shaped into a longish fingernail shape. its really the way u hold it that matters iirc #but yeah I spruced up the OG design for the instrument in this one lol. this is actually like my original vision I think #I really wanted to make that thing beast shaped. but I Just figured out how to properly stylize it when I designed the module #and! I did say this on stream but I am genuinely very proud of that design! that was genuinely big brain of me! so #future instrument variants will still probably base heavily on that general shape and principles lol. I'm playin in this space its MY muck #also I switched the number on her coat from 39 to 01 bc it's more on theme thats really it. nothin else to remark on there lol #and! once again based the dragon head on the lý dynasty dragon rather than later iterations. thats why the nose fin and no whiskers #and the metal nozzle is kinda supposed to call to mind a temple bell. not super sure i got that across well #but the rim design IS historical! about your 2nd question. yes, I watched Korra. I like it! of course, there are minor things I dislike. but… AIR NOMADS FAMILY (and I genuinely always liked Korra. idk she was funny and loud! and tbh I loved that she canonically ended up with Asami because that was my first thought when I met Asami… well that they should hold hands and kiss. yeah….)

about the 1st question. … yeah? not as much like doodled digitally. simply because most doodles happen on paper and then when I am home doing warm up and draw them more out properly.

but these are layered! which is kind of fun because I can click on and off layers like a homemade dress-up game :D

I still do my doodles! sometimes… when energy is especially low… welp.

so i completed my first ever fan binding, everything from start to finish - barring writing the fic myself - and i wanted to share the results!!

the fic is the certain things we lack by @deanpendragon on ao3 (it’s an incredible fic, if you haven’t read it already, you really really really should!!)

if anyone wants to bind their own copy using the typeset i made, i’ve put a fully formatted and print-ready pdf along with some instructions for how to go about fan binding (and links to people who can explain the process better than i can) on my google drive!
