Words and images cannot describe how deranged I get when I think about Luz in Belos' uniform.

Cause it's like.

It's the fact that this is clearly in a nightmare the Collector has set up, so Luz's greatest nightmare is becoming Belos, even though that would never even be a possibility. It's the fact that, by unknowingly helping Philip find the Collector, Luz has basically set everything happening right now into motion, it's the fact that Luz knows this or at least believes it and it's severely affected her mental health ("And it would literally be better if he never existed") and it definitely plummeted after the attack at the graveyard.

It's the fact that Luz knowing that her help caused all this chaos in the demon realm and lives of her friends is why her nightmare is becoming Belos.

It's the fact that Belos used his humanity, or just the fact that he was human, to manipulate Luz and psych her out. which, in the case of Hollow Mind, upset her so much that her first action was to deny it ("No, NO, you're just Belos!").

It's the constant parallels between the Wittebane brother, and Luz, and Hunter; and what that means for their arcs and relationship with eachother, especially since it looks like Hunter will be reverting back to the Golden Guard if he gets a nightmare.

(It's the smaller detail that stringbean in staff form resembles the staff Belos would use and whatever THAT will entail)

IT'S THE WEIRD PARALLEL MY MIND CREATED BETWEEN PHILIP TAKING HIS BROTHERS JACKET WHEN HE DIED, AND LUZ TAKING BELOS' OUTFIT WHILE HE'S ON THE VERGE OF DEATH HIMSELF, I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT I NEED YA'LL TO HEAR ME OUT.

It's the fact that, no matter what her friends did to reassure her and tell her differently, she's still dead set in the belief that her actions have hurt them and the people around her, or that despite what he saw Philip believed that the only way he could stay in this world was if he destroyed it.

It's the fact that, based on what we saw Belos and Luz are gonna have a confrontation in the palace where the titans heart is, and Luz is going to have to accept that yes, her actions, unknowingly, had severe consequences, but that doesn't and will never make Luz like Belos, because while Belos may be human before he will never get his humanity back, while Luz has that and empathy, and a curiosity that led her to befriending and fitting in among the demon realm, and a love of the strange, and a strong imagination that she never gave up on.

Luz and Belos will never be the same, and yet everytime I think about how they are similar my brain just goes:

i have NEARLY finished the skirt for my ren faire fit i just gotta get a few finishing details added and also get the undershirt bleached (bc i got a bunch of makeup on it at last years fair and shit Stained) but THEN i can show yall the final fit!!

Math. #and unfortunately. i was an art major. so. there was a lot of struggling #BUT I DID IT. THERE WAS STILL A LIIIIITTLE BIT OF PIECING THAT HAD TO BE DONE BUT IT IS MINIMAL AND CAMOUFLAGED PRETTY WELL #and also this is for a ren faire primarily bc i dont wear a lot of skirts in day-to-day #SO. economical fabric usage is absolutely period accurate. even though none of the rest of my outfit or techniques are. #basically all thats left for me to do is add pockets and the closure at the back #i meant to add the pockets as i was doing the main construction but i got too excited and forgor #so theres gonna be some seam ripping but nothing too bad

It has knee braces!! I will most probably be drawing the zebra usually with them on, but it’s no requirement, for example if anyone else wants to draw the zebra :-]. As a reminder, aside from why the zebra was requested for this flag, this is also just a zebra with the disability pride flag on it. It’s just a deisgn to fit the flag, with input from other disabled people in our community. It doesn’t mean other animals can’t have designs with these colors, too! I don’t mean this design to be the only mascot for all disabled people. It’s just a silly series i do of pride animals, and at the time, during disability pride month, I wanted to see what everyone wanted me to start off with for this flag!

Looking at old tmnt fan fiction and remembering that since the 2k3 turtles didn’t have canon eye colors, a lot of people just took the eye colors from the 2k7 movie and just retrofitted them onto the 2k3 turtles. So in old fics Raphael having golden eyes was allllll over the place.

I think Leo commonly had gray eyes and ofc Mikey had baby blues, but golden-eyed Raph was like. Such a specific, overwhelming phenomenon of that era that I very rarely see these days.

I love all the little ways Dracula references or jokes about his own nature. He does it quite a lot actually - he's clearly amused by Jonathan's lacking the right context to see through the hints.

This quote starts off with Dracula weaponizing politeness with that little joke about 'you won't want to go anywhere that's locked of course.' It is a pleasant little wink and nod about people being curious/Jonathan being a good guest, but also subtly establishes that Jonathan being curious at all about the locks would be rude. This will definitely be relevant later, when the full extent of what is locked off becomes apparent (at which time this little joke takes on a more ominous meaning).

And then the bolded bit - this is another "the feelings of the hunter" line, but Jonathan doesn't realize it yet. It's presented as a cultural difference, and that's how Jonathan takes it, but the true difference here in their perspectives is that of the predator (Dracula) and his unwitting prey (Jonathan). Dracula is laughing to himself that if Jonathan knew, he would understand why Dracula has acted thus and will continue to do so. It's not "your customs are different," it's "you're the rabbit and I am the wolf, but you think of me as a friend." (My thoughts are drawn to that comparison of Jonathan being like the terrified horses last night, and Dracula soothing their fears until they stand calmly - despite bringing them there and being in command of the wolves that threatened them.)

Finally, there is one more level of humor to this line - a savage irony against Dracula himself. We know that Jonathan and the rest will understand eventually. Quite literally, Mina's ability to see with his eyes and know with his knowledge is a key element of what helps them to defeat him. Vampires can't be depicted by outside forces, no mirrors or maps or paintings... but by trying to make Mina like him, Dracula will instead give her the direct insight needed to destroy him instead. Similarly, by spending his time toying with Jonathan for so long, he is providing Jonathan an opportunity to know him as more than just a shadowy danger in the night - and to know him is to know his weaknesses.

Reasons Why I Need a Sexy JoongDunk BL

If you know me, then you’ll know that it’s actually kind of funny that I’m asking for this. Me. A sex-repulsed leaning asexual who, for the most part, tends to stay away from (overly) sexy and/or horny series. And yet I really want a sexy JoongDunk series. A messy, Only Friends-type of series even, perhaps.

Make no mistake, though. I don’t actually want it for me, oh no. No, I want a sexy JoongDunk series for them, for their sake. Because I feel like they’d have a whole lot of fun with it.

And here’s why I think so:

Reason #1: Dum Dum

Definitely the most obvious reason, but the LOL Fanfest Dum Dum performance: the fact that the choreography was like That. And the fact that it was their idea to switch up who bites who for day 2:

Not to mention the fact that Dunk actually bit Joong for real:

Reason #2: “We’ve never done this before”

The way they kept bringing up how Hidden Agenda is more mature than Star in My Mind and how there were scenes that they’d never done before*, it seemed to have been a big deal for them.

Reason #3: “Favorite episode of Hidden Agenda? Episode 8!!”​

The way Joong immediately said episode 8 was his favorite, smiling expectantly at Dunk...

...and then was very adamant when Dunk couldn’t decide between episodes 7 and 8:

Considering their comments of how “episode 8 is special” because they’ve “never done anything like this before”... Well, dare I bet it’s their favorite episode because of the ending specifically. Unless maybe they were particularly excited about the stalker story line. I don’t think they’d done that before either.

Reason #4: Ep8 watch party live on Instagram

The way they actually sat down and went live on Instagram in order to watch, react to, and comment on the entirety of episode 8.

And considering Dunk’s comment at the beginning of this live about how it’s “something we've never done before” I’m absolutely convinced they chose ep8 to react to specifically because of the ending lmao. Unless, of course, they were extremely hyped about the stalker plot. There were no creepy stalker plots in Star in My Mind, nor do I remember any significant stalking in Joong’s other works. Or maybe the two of them were referring to the scene where Zo bites Joke’s arm. I don’t remember any biting from Star in My Mind, so who knows, it might be that. What else was special in ep8? Oh right, Joke punched the stalker. That can’t have been the “we’ve never done this before” thing, though, considering Joong was literally in a Mafia series before. Also, he punched Pepper in Star in My Mind. My theory still stands.

Reason #5: “It was more intense than this”

In that instagram live they also dropped that a lot was cut from that scene and that it was supposed to be more intense than this. Uh, boys...? What kind of choreography did y’all on set come up with for this scene exactly??

(I can’t stop laughing at Dunk's face when he agrees with Joong saying that a lot was cut. He looks like he suddenly bit into a very sour lemon lmao)

In conclusion:

Clearly they had a lot of fun with the Dum Dum performance and it seems that they were very excited about getting to do something more mature with Hidden Agenda, and also getting the the chance to do something that they’ve “never done before” in ep8 specifically. So my point stands: I think they’d have a blast playing a sexy series together. I want it for them.
