Years and years from now, I'll look back at this part of my life, specifically this summer, and just vividly remember how genuinely fun it's been to be a part of the QSMP fandom. Like, seriously, I don't think I've seen a community so fun and engaging to interact with- everyday, I'm just so amazed by the love and support everyone has for this server; the fanart, animations, clips, edits, etc. genuinely made my summer this year. And I hope there will be more moments to look back on and reminisce in the days, weeks, months, and years to come.

i dont miss the dream smp in the sense that i wish it kept going, but i miss it in the sense that i wish i could love something as dearly as i loved it. i know there’s the qsmp if i wanted or plenty of other content on youtube but its not going to be the same. i was obsessed with it. i wasn’t into it in it’s prime, but when i got into it i got into it and it was impossible to even fathom getting out of it. i know we have the sorry boys but i miss the tom simons vlogs. i know we have generation loss but i miss origins smp. i know technoblade never dies but i miss him.
no matter what happens now it will never be the same, and while change is important and necessary - god knows what wouldve happened if they did decide to draw out a season two - i still miss it. i can’t tell if it’s because i miss being 14 instead of 17, or if i miss the stories and streams themselves, but i miss it.

Maybe Minecraft is itself a tree that's grown rotten. Or maybe I've simply outgrown it.
(I had a mental breakdown in the tags sorry)

all blocks in minecraft should have slab, stair, and fence capabilities. theres literally no reason for them to not.
also, iron bars? give me bars in the other metals too.
also, the different door styles should come in all wood colors. not just one color per door. this goes for trapdoors as well.

waiiiitt I just realized the reason why I love QSMP so much as a concept is because it's kind of like my childhood growing up overseas oh my goooodddddd what if i cried
#its in the bonding over multicultural experiences#in school everyone would be from somewhere different from all over the world#and we were only at this place for a few years so we just vibed together and our differences didnt matter#but then sometimes we'd just end up talking about where we lived before#and sharing these crazy things we'd had as american kids in other countries#and we'd also for one reason or another have local kids sometimes talk about their own experiences as locals coming to the american school#and it was cool too!!#but coming back to live in the usa has been pretty isolating as someone who grew up outside here and no one else has left their state area#but the qsmp community has been bringing that culture exchange back into my life!!#and it's SOOO amazing to see people learning about outside their world and be part of that culture exchange again#and no its not the same and im not saying its supposed to be!#i love it so much i love learning about the outside world and how humanity is so varied and so so special#thank you qsmp this silly minecraft server has brought back a part of my life i thought i left behind forever when my family moved back#now im actually practicing my german again and picking up on more basic spanish than i ever thought id get#and im getting reinspired to want to aim to go back overseas rather than stay in america for job oppertunities#i thought i was resolved to suffer here forever but theres still a world out there thats not perfect but if my place isnt here its okay!

I need more context... why are they going to superhell.... who's they...........
(I have barely been into MCRP but it's so fuckin neat to me when others do it)
"they" being the entire qsmp server. like actually all of them. biggest lore event so far. as to why? we have no fucking clue but we know it has something to do with their missing egg children cuz they keep sending vague calls for help on the official twitter accounts (theres multiple cuz its a multilingual server, so theres accts for every language)
its technically calling itself "purgatory", not superhell or hell at all, but everyones calling it superhell cuz its funny.
the anticipation and adrenaline is gonna give me an anxiety attack tonight and tomorrow and its gonna be great. im gonna be so miserable at work i genuinely cant wait
