#Hisashi is a bastard

“But he was my boyfriend!” Sobbed the pretty blonde girl. Marcus Smith, the lawyer for the late Hisashi Midoriya, felt like coughing as he took in the sobbing form of Martha Simpson. A young girl, barely twenty-five, who’d been dating the fifteen year older Hisashi for the past four years.
That was a blaring sign if he ever saw one, yet no one else had apparently batted an eye. Ever.
“And you were not named in his will,” Marcus told her as gently as he could.
“He said I was!” Martha borderline screamed. The customers of the diner they were in gave her sympathetic looks, launching dirty looks at Marcus. The woman next to Martha, a tall and buff darker skinned woman dressed in a sherif uniform looked pained and a little disturbed.
“Martha, please tone it down,” Sheriff Mackenzie Hunt said as she covered an ear. “Look, I know you thought he was a good guy-“
“He was!” Martha instantly yelled. “He was here to care for his dying mother and he had a great job as a Quirk analyst!!” She glared at the sheriff.
Perhaps one person had seen the red flags then.
“Martha, I along with several others have enhanced hearing.” Hunt said, scolding the girl. She pouted at that, tears still rolling down her face. “Now, Mr. Smith here says that you’re not in the will. I’m inclined to believe him. If you were you’d have been contacted-“
“Unless he’s LYING-“ Martha began, though slightly quieter. Marcus was pretty sure that Hunt was known to have one of those mythological based Quirks, Werewolf or something like the town doctor basically was a vampire. Given how the man was wincing in his booth where he’d been drinking coffee, her yelling couldn’t be pleasent.
The door opened then, and a green haired Japanese woman stepped in holding a little curly haired boy’s hand.
“Ah, Mrs. Midoriya!” Marcus said upon seeing her. Martha froze, turning slowly as the customers almost froze in the diner. The owner, a grump named Luce had her mouth almost dropped open. “Good to see you. Sorry for the… public meeting.”
“I don’t mind,” Inko Midoriya replied as she walked in, leading her son.
“You can use ther sherrif office next door,” Hunt instantly said. Marcus only felt relief hearing that. He didn’t want to deal with any huge fall out.
Of course Martha spoke up.
“Are you Hisashi’s sister?!” She demanded. Inko looked her right in the eyes, before sighing.
“No I was his wife.” She looked at Martha with sympathy. “You must be his latest girlfriend.”
“I… what?” Martha said. “No, no he wasn’t MARRIED! He was…” Inko pulled out her phone to flicked to a picture, showing it to Martha and Marcus. It was her and Hisashi in wedding attire. “No, no, no…”
“I’m sorry kid,” Inko said very gently. “But it’s true.” Martha simply burst into tears and ran out, followed by a couple of the customers. Friends probably. Inko shook her head. “Damn it Hisashi.”
“Not the first time?” Hunt asked sympathetically.
“No, he was… well I was his first target. The charming twenty-nine year old man had no reason to date me at twenty-one.” Inko shrugged. “We got married and then when I turned 29 I got pregnant. He stopped even pretending not to be seeing others after that, and for the past six years-“
“So he wasn’t thirty?” Interrupted Luce, obviously listening in. Inko scoffed, shaking her head as Hunt groaned. Marcus himself made a face.
What an asshole.

5 hc au: if you have read csm, an au where Izuku (and cast members of your choice) are devils in disguise? I think it would fit if Izuku was the Quirk Devil, and represents the fear of superpowers
1 - Inko finds a child covered in blood someday and naturally decides to adopt him and to teach him the usual things like "Brush your teeth after you ate.", "Study at school.", "Don't eat people. You don't know where they have been.", "Always remember that your mom loves you." and so on. It's pretty obvious that Izuku is not human and he does feel the urge to grab superpowers here and there but his life is pretty good... until Inko gets really sick. Izuku, who is about 16 at the time, needs money for her treatment. He is recruited by the devil hunters.
2 - Izuku's boss, Akatani Hisashi, is a very creepy and incredibly scary man (well, to most people. Izuku's sense of fear is a little... out of this world). He is actually the first Quirk Devil. Back with All Might's fight, Hisashi came so close to death that a new Quirk Devil was born into hell but the bastard managed to drag himself back from death, creating the very first existence of two Devils sharing the same concept. Hisashi then made a contract with the HPSC... I mean, the government, who were positively drooling at the idea of having such a powerful Devil obeying them. I am certain it will have no unfortunate consequences.
3 - Izuku gets Todoroki Touya as his supervisor. Touya is a hybrid that fused with some kind of Fire Devil (maybe the Holy Flame Devil) that has excellent results on paper but everyone refuses to work work with him. They are soon joined by Touya's brother, Shouto, who has a contract with three Devils and a sword.
4 - Uraraka (Gravity fiend) and Bakugou (explosion fiend) are in another team. Takami Keigo is a normal devil hunter and Touya's sitcom nemesis.
5 - Hisashi fully intends to kill Izuku before too long because even if he is fascinated (and kinda flattered) with the occurrence of another devil sharing his concept, he can't really tolerate someone else like him. He gave him to Touya's team because he knew Touya wouldn't realize the danger Izuku's in.
6 - Yoichi used to be a human guy who had the misfortune of meeting Hisashi.
7 - Izuku can both steal quirks and devil powers. For the latter, he sometimes eats them.
8 - Izuku has the habit of wearing gloves. Inko was a really good mother but she messed up on some points.
9 - This is sadly the AU where Natsuo was accidentally sacrificed to a Devil by his own father.

I was thinking about Little Mouse (as I usually do), and started focusing on an aspect of it that has been pretty overlooked in the asks. The Inko/Nezu friendship.
The first post mentioned that Inko was a UA student who was taught by Nezu and obviously she made him Izuku's godfather, so they were probably close.
What course was she in? She clearly wasn't in heroics and I can't imagine her in the Support course so it was probably either Gen Ed or Management.
Was Nezu her homeroom teacher or just a random teacher who she happened to vibe with?
Was Nezu at Inko's wedding? What did he think of Hisashi before he fucked off? What did he think of Hisashi after he fucked off?
How did Nezu feel when she was put in a coma? Did he grieve for her or is he holding out hope that she's going to wake up someday?
I was picturing her as one of those two; I don't quite remember which, or if I ever decided. I did know that Nedzu was her homeroom teacher because he hadn't been promoted to Principal yet.
I don't really know because Hisashi is such a non-entity in MHA that I didn't really know where he was or why he wasn't there, only that he wasn't in Midoriya's life.
Nedzu was furious. Probably performed an Unpleasantness on the poor bastard that hurt her. He has grieved for her but he also is holding out hope for her recovery

BNHA AU Idea: Information Warfare
Analysis is Midoriya Izuku’s only hobby. He could almost count sketching, but considering all he drew were heroes, it was probably a stretch. Still, he didn;t think anything would come of it, but when he sees the news reporting about a villain at large with a telekinesis quirk when he knows it’s gravity manipulation - well. He has to tell someone. Bad info could get them killed.
Sir Nighteye very rarely receives fan emails, even with his history of being All Might’s only sidekick, so it’s still agency policy to read each one. When what is clearly an information broker pops up in his emails, sending packet after pack of analysis on active cases, he sees it. He isn’t stupid enough to dismiss it either.
When the information saves his young intern’s life, he gets invested.
It’s been a while since I’ve written one of these, huh? Lets hope I’m not too rusty.
So, set when Izuku is in his second last year of middle school, about 13 years old. His father told him his mother left when he was 8, they up and left Mustutafu and he hasn’t seen her since. Midoriya Hisashi is negligent and mean, doesn’t care where his son is as long as he can’t see him and no cops or heroes end up at his door.
Not a villain because it’s too risky, but he works as a laborer and doesn’t really care about how dodgy the job is. Make enough money for himself to live comfortably in a low income area. Doesn’t make enough to live comfortably with a son - so he pays the bare minimum heeded to keep social services off his back.
He considered sending the emails to All Might, but he knew they’d get buried under all the fan mail he’s constantly sent, and he trusted Nighteye to not brush it off instantly.
Hes not exactly shocked when the man assumes hes an information broker - technically he almost is, he’s just not charging for it. And only sending information to one person. Ok so he’s probably more an informant, and being associated with villains is kinda rough, but it lends him a lot of credibility if they think he has better connections to the underworld than a wifi hotspot, a house in a shady area and some security cameras someone else hacked into.
Nighteye asks if he’d be willing to meet up, which Izuku declines. Undeterred, he asks if Izuku would instead be ok with joining in on a briefing via video. It’s a terrible idea, but he can’t help but say yes. He keeps his camera off and taped over, and downloads to voice modulation program.
He also spends a solid hour trying to think of an alias. He picks Snitch. Thats what they think he is, and he’s been called as much before for asking for help. It’s different, this time.
it takes him a while to feel comfortable chiming in - he’s use to what happens if he tries. but he’s not Deku right now, not here. He’s an information broker. He’s Snitch. He could blow the underworld right open if he set his mind to it.
He helps plan their attack better, draws maps through floorplans for the most effective routes to check the rooms of interest, marks the most likely places for the goods to be hidden. With his information they are in and out in 20 minutes. It’s shockingly effective.
Nighteye was interested before. Now he’s invested.
Snitch is clearly a social outcast, but hes practised enough at social interaction that hes not totally isolated. Unlikely to have any strong social ties, which reduces the likely hood of him working for any specific group. He’s probably a contract worker, maybe didn’t choose villainy but fell into i. He could still be helped. He could get an information hero license, really help. But first, he has to find him.
In Mutsutafu, a mother looks for her son, kidnapped by his father when he was 8 years old. An angry boy feels crushing guilt for letting it happen - Deku was right there and he just let the bastard take him and run.
They still search.

"Just leave. Like you did last time. Like you do EVERY TIME!"
(From whoever you want. My heart goes to Nagant because guilty pleasure, but also to Inko. Ultimately as you wish !)
𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐥  𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞  𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐬 | Accepting
The cries of someone who has been betrayed so many times before by someone who claimed to care about them. It is different from Yoichi as his brother was stubborn but so much stronger. He didn't cry he would look him in the eye as those lips upturn into a sneer of defiance. It made it easier to justify to himself that he was being attacked or Yoichi is just being unreasonable.
Tumblr media
He can't justify it here.
Not while Inko's eyes are filled with tears. Not when the pain in her gaze is so palatable. As she has allowed him so much freedom and yet in return he always just leaves her. Alone in this home where they had promised to build a life together. He hates this feeling he hates how his body feels disgusted with himself.
Memories of when he had started to have nightmares of the vestige the disgust and horror that he felt guilt. Now those very feelings have returned wanting to claim he doesn't care. That he doesn't need this relationship and he is not about to let her try to dictate how it goes.
But the tears are what stop him. This was not defiance this is a pained acceptance of his betrayal. As if leaving now might as well be declaring that he doesn't care and everything built is to be thrown away. This shouldn't be something he cares about, he had originally meant to use her. Just another pawn in this game he has with the One for All users.
"Inko," he speaks her name almost softly though can see the way her body tenses. This wasn't aggression it was a subtle warning as if saying to stay the hell away from her right now. Emotional and yet still looking him in the eye. It seems he had taken her patience for granted.
This fear. This pain in his chest as watches her cry at the fact he is once more about to leave.
He knows his feelings are genuine, and it is what makes this all the harder. Trying to figure out all the things he wishes to express to her. That he isn't leaving because he wants to what half-lies does he need to spill. What truths can he expose that won't eviscerate him?
"Please Inko. It isn't what you think," he speaks softly almost pleading. "...I'll come back later today when you've calmed down. I swear I love you and our son deeply."
"Hisashi you bastard! Don't you DARE come back after just leaving! Our son needs you now not later! You CAN'T keep doing this!" She shouts at him but he leaves. Like a dog with their tail between its legs rather than a man in complete control. Knowing that she will destroy him verbally the next time they see each other. She had the patience of a saint but only for herself, he should have expected the moment they had a child her patience would be on a timer.
She is a wonderful mother. Izuku is lucky to have her, it's going to be difficult to make up for this.

'All for one as Hisashi Midoriya' headcanons?
I—
Okay, I can answer this, but you should know that no matter what the reason my AFO does anything is because "Yoichi". Literally the only reason. And I almost always think of him as 'Hisashi Midoriya', or at least Izuku's father; it's only in very specific AUs that I don't. So almost every headcanon I have for him is when he's Izuku's father.
I have a few headcanons for him here already, so you can take a look at those too :3
☣️ -All For One met Inko when she was moonlighting as a vigilante. Yes, I originally proposed this as their backstory for KTDO but that's because I see it as their normal backstory, just with Yoichi being less alive. All For One saw this little hoodie-wearing, green eyed, ass kicking vigilante take down several of his men, and immediately wanted to get to know her (You can guess why). She proceeded to punch him in the face. This, because All For One is a freak, solidified his interest in her and he started to actively court her.
☣️ -All For One never came out as All For One to Inko, even after they were married, so Inko thought she redeemed this poor misunderstood but powerful villain, and she hung up her metaphorical vigilante cloak whenever he hung up his villainy. EXCEPT that All For One never actually DID give up villainy, he just wanted Inko to stop bothering him about it, so he blew up a random building and pretended it was his Base of Operations so that he could come crying to Inko about how he'd changed and they could be together now. Inko accepted this, suitably wooed, and they started to live together.
☣️ -When Inko first announced that she was pregnant, All For One didn't want to keep it. He's sired bastards before and he's always made quick "work" of them whenever the mothers came crying to him about it—can't have another version of All For One running around, after all. But, because All For One was originally drawn to Inko because she reminded him of Yoichi, he held off, hoping that his hair color and Inko's eye color would mix and create a mini Yoichi for him to smother and place all of his 200+ years of obsession upon :D Of course, that baby turned out to have dark curly hair, but by that time All For One was already so attached to the idea of having a child that seeing Izuku with his own eyes just solidified Izuku's place in his little family. AFO just decided he'd try for a Yoichi clone again later. (Shimura Tenko feels a disturbance in the force...)
☣️ -All For One was around a lot during Izuku's first five years of life, because AFO needed to make sure that if Izuku developed a Quirk like his that he could take it or nullify it somehow. But fortunately for him, Izuku turned up Quirkless, with the extra toe joint and everything! The perks of being a man born at the Dawn of the Age of Quirks! There's a sixty-five percent chance your child will be Quirkless! However, this unfortunately coincided with All Might's return to Japan, and so All For One kind of,,,,abandoned his home duties to track down One For All. He was still in and out of the house very periodically in the next five years, but then when Izuku was ten All Might ripped his fucking face off :D And AFO can't explain that away with a 'work accident' to Inko, so he just....never went back. Oops.
☣️ -All For One handed down more than just Quirklessness genetically, he also handed down his preferences (....I'm not gonna say it but you can look at my ship list for conformation on that—). Izuku prefers sweeter foods because his father prefers sweeter foods. Izuku likes analysis and logic dissections because his father likes analysis and logic dissections. Their brains work the same way in that they'll hyperfixate on something if they don't know it, devour everything they can about it, but once they've cracked it open and eaten everything there is to know? They throw it away and move onto the next thing. It's boring, they need more stimulation now—ooo is that a telepathic fire Quirk? 👀👀
☣️ -The fire-breathing Quirk that All For One posed as his only Quirk for Inko was actually a dragon Quirk. But Inko never told anyone this because she was afraid that Izuku might face further discrimination as a mutant, even though neither he nor AFO ever showed any visible mutations. That dragon Quirk was one of the first Quirks that All For One stole on purpose, back during the riots of his youth. He can cover his skin in white scales and make his teeth sharper, see in the dark, make his nails into claws, and of course breathe fire; it's a very versatile Quirk, and he used it so many times to protect Yoichi that it became dubbed in his mind as the Horde Family Protection Quirk. That's also the reason that he doesn't use that particular Quirk when fighting One For All holders: because he doesn't want to hurt any part of Yoichi, even his ghost, with the same powers he once used to protect him.
☣️ -I'll end on a fluffier note related to the one above. Izuku knew that his dad had more than one Quirk. Not just because he puzzled it out, but because one of AFO's favorite father-son bonding activities were snack breaks on top of really, really tall buildings. He'd break out a flight Quirk and take Izuku up in the evening or in the middle of the night or early in the morning, when Inko wouldn't catch them, and set them up on a building ledge so they could watch the stars/sunset/sunrise together and share an orange or animal crackers. Sometimes All For One would tell Izuku stories about his childhood that he couldn't tell Inko without blowing his cover, or even just sing for him. He also maaay have had to save tiny Izuku from falling off a building once or thrice, so Izuku knows that he has at least four Quirks. Fire-breathing, flight, telekinesis, and duplication. Of course, Izuku never tells anyone—he's a very good little secret keeper. Not even AFO knows he knows :3

Regarding the AFO is Izuku's dad fics, I once saw one that had AFO's first name be Hisashi but took on Inko's last name, the business trip was also a lie to keep his injuries from almight a secret from Izuku and inko.
Oh yeah it's.
So like. In terms of 'committing to the bit', I find it fucking hilarious that AfO decides to just have this fun little domestic family where he can be a good father when 'going to the office' means going out and committing every crime known to man.
And I /do/ think this could lead to some delicious angst if taken seriously. The idea of the 'good father' being such an awful person and Izuku coming to terms with that? The fear that Izuku has seeing what happened to Shigaraki and knowing that could've been him? The absolute unbridled jealous fury Shigaraki must feel if he ever finds out about AfO having an actual biological son that he treated kindly and lovingly while he got *gestures to the list of crimes*?
On the other hand:
This is like, the one major reason I would have for Canon evidence against AfO being Izuku's dad. Because AfO is an evil bastard and he would have 100% manipulated Izuku into being another one of his pawns.
(There's a reason why, though I write Dad for One, AfO has no idea Izuku is his kid, and 'Hisashi Midoriya' is another person entirely).

Food for thoughts. What if afos "precious other me" he mentioned in the newest chapter isnt tomura?
Tumblr media
At first you may indeed think he means him, because he often enough called tomura "my other me", but he also never before called him "precious". Afo gives a damn about tomuras wellbeing! So what if its not tomura but IZUKU he means with that?! We can clearly see in the chapter that afo is in a great hurry and he wants to reach the place HE BELIEVES tomura and izuku are fighting right now, as fast as possible! He has no idea that izuku was wraped to an other place. He believes izuku is where tomura is and even gave endeavor and hawks shit for that dangerous decision. Why? Because right now afo is to far away to make sure tomura stays under his control and also that izuku wont do anything stupid or dangerous.
But thats not really what I want to talk about. Its afos "precious other me" words. I really think its possible he means izuku with that, because afo as izukus father may see himself as a part of izuku. And there is a hint that hisashi (afo or not) indeed feels that way and we can see that in izukus name or lets better say in the kanjis of his name.
Because the name hisashi (the kanjis) is part of izukus own name! Hori confirmed that the name "izuku" is a VERY uncommon name in japanese, espicially the kanjis with which it is written. And still hori made sure that the kanjis from the name of the father are a part of izukus. So when inko and hisashi choose a name for their son, they choose a name hisashi is part of. And it wouldnt surprise me if that was afos wish. That his own name is part of his childs. Like he literally puts his claim over izuku! And we all know what kind of possessive bastard our favorite potato head is! By giving his son a name his own is part of, he tells everyone: "Im a part of this boy! He is my flesh and blood! He belongs to me! He is my other half! My "precious other me"!

Title fic:The wind that shakes the Barley.
Here’s the thing about memories. They don’t make you older. They’re just there. They’re feelings and thoughts and can fade over time, disappearing into the ever never to see again.
However, sometimes they don’t always fade. They linger in your mind, playing over and over again. Sometimes they stick in your brain, making you unable to forget. Ever.
Sometimes, you die and wake up again, remembering a life long past. And sometimes that changes things.
---
A small bang echoed through the apartment, Midoriya Inko barely looking up from her book as she sat on the couch.
“Any injuries?” she called out, turning a page.
 “No!”
 “Anything damaged?”
 “No!”
“Alright,” Inko said, picking up her cup of tea to sip. Elsewhere in the apartment, a young boy named Midoriya Izuku sighed as he turned to his notebook, crossing off a line.
“The addition of vodka to the mixture did not cause a significant change in freeze point. Rather it exploded.” Izuku muttered as he wrote down his words. “Possibly add antifreeze? Mom said she’d only allow it if I can prove I won’t be harmed by it. Do more research.” Izuku closed the notebook with a sigh, turning back to his experiment. Recreating the Flask of Frost from his old life was more challenging then he’d hoped. The Flask of Fire had been pretty simple, as had remaking the flame proof liquid to treat his clothing and body with. But he found himself stuck with Frost.
The boy quickly began cleaning up the mess created. He tucked a strand of hair that had fallen out of it’s bun behind his ear with a shoulder, juggling his mess. He missed Kihm and Sera. Those two would have delighted in helping him figure this out. Honestly the two would have had a blast in this world, the science so far ahead of everything. Izuku certainly enjoyed it.
He dumped the items in his arms into the box in his room, meaning for disposing of his creations before he removed his soot-covered apron and goggles, dropping them into the hamper. Leaving his room, Izuku passed by his mother who simply glanced up to make sure he was okay before going back to his book.
“I’m going out tonight,” Izuku told her as he went to the kitchen for some water.
 “You have school tomorrow.”
 “Ha.” Izuku snorted. “School.”
“Izuku,” Inko said mildly. Izuku groaned, rolling his eyes and dramatically flopping onto a kitchen counter.
“It’s so duuuuuumb. And the teachers are assholes.”
 “Language.”
“Mother I have heard you during poker night.”
“Trying to be a good parent.” Inko said quietly. It made Izuku get off the counter to walk over to where she sat. He hefted himself over the back of the couch so he could lean into her, arms wrapping around her.
“You’re a great parent. Fuck anyone else saying otherwise.” Izuku kissed her head, Inko putting the book down to hug her son’s arm.
It really was true for Izuku. He wouldn’t call Inko perfect; he’d never believed anyone could be perfect. But she was a great parent. Better then his old life where his parents were criminals who only had him to continue the Cadash family. He’d loved them distantly but man they’d been terrible parents. Inko though? Inko was great. She took every bit of his wildly scattered personality he’d had to rebuild in stride and loved him more then anything. He’d heard her threaten Hisashi within an inch of the bastard’s life. That meant a lot.
“I love you baby,” Inko said, squeezing his arm. “School is still mandatory.”
“Uuuuuuugh,” Izuku groaned. “Fine I’ll only hunt for a few hours and come back before midnight.”
“Good.” Inko patted his arm as he let go. “Now go and clean your room.”
“Fine.” Izuku shook his head with a laugh as he got up. He loved his mom.

Izuku used to be known as Malika Cadash. He’d been a she then, a criminal who was told to go spy on the Conclave to see how things would work out. Back to buisness or would they need a new way to make coin. She’d ended up surviving an explosion and somehow found herself leading an entire organization where people claimed she was the face of a human god. Funny given she was a dwarf and the Chant said she was less then any human in the world.
It hadn’t been all bad, Izuku knew through the shattered dreams and memories. Malika found friends, love and even became a hero. All with just a pair of daggers and some science knowledge.
Frankly she’d also sucked at daggers and took to the more sinister side of rogue work easily. So it really was a surprise to Izuku to remember that.
It was what inspired him to try and recreate his old tools, learn his old tricks. He would be a hero again. Even if he was Quirkless.
Sitting on a building’s roof edge, Izuku peered down at the fight going on below. Amplifier was fighting a pair of villains with what looked like the same Quirk but… it felt off. Izuku squinted, seeing one of the men fighting spit and the other… oh eww.
“He just swallowed the spit,” Izuku said in disgust. He wrote that down in his notebook anyway. “He probably has a Copy Quirk. Works with spit the guy swallows…  ewww.”
“Good to know,” a voice said from behind Izuku. He didn’t flinch.
“Hi Eraser!” Izuku said as the erasure hero settled beside him for the briefest of seconds before dropping down into the fray. He watched as the two heroes worked together to take the villains down. When they finished, Eraserhead spoke with Amplifier, motioning up to the roof. Izuku waved as the heroine looked up. She shook her head, probably amused.
Eraserhead used his scarf to scale the building after they secured the villains, Amplifier obviously calling for some police. Izuku waited patiently.
 “It’s late kid.” Eraser grunted.
“I’m aware. I’m going home soon.” Izuku groaned. “I hate school but mom can’t get me into online stuff.” Izuku would think the woman hadn’t even tried if he didn’t know her so well. She had, multiple times tried. But nothing worked.
 “School is important.” Eraser said.
“Well duh.” Izuku snorted. He went back to writing down his analysis of the fight he’d seen. “But between the Quirkist teachers, the bullying and the fact it’s a very low ranking school it’s not worth it. Particularly with Bakugou around.”
“Bakugou?” Eraserhead asked. Izuku hummed. He’d known the hero for a while, hunting heroes at night tended to do that. While at first the guy used to try to make Izuku go home it evolved into him just nagging about the time and chasing him around when Izuku decided to mess with him. Most of the other underground heroes were the same.
“Guy whose been told for his entire life he’s got a perfect Quirk. Never faces any consequences for bullying or using it either.” Izuku shrugged. “System worked against him but he’s also been always a bit of an angry brat. Knew him since we were born. Very vivid memory of before age four the kid giving me a nickname to mean useless.”
 “Personality disorder?” Eraserhead asked.
“Possibly. Or could just be an angry child who never got taught consequences are things that can happen.” Izuku shrugged. “Honeslty he’s really not creative with his bullying either. Typical smart jock who is the apple of the teacher’s eyes. Loud bragging, some Quirk use on other kids. Not as much as when we were little but like…” Izuku shrugged.
“So a budding villain,” Eraserhead said.
“Oh no. Well maybe not. A budding Endeavour yeah. He’s got skill and drive but needs a cold hard reality check more then anything.” Izuku said in disagreement. “I hope he does get into UA cause I think having super strong people from all around the country be in his class might shake him from his big fish mentality.” Izuku shrugged. It wasn’t like Bakugou bothered him. Not really. The bullying was boring frankly after years of being poisoned by his trainers to build up an immunity coupled with the backstabbing the Carta had in its ranks. Oooh I’m going to hurt you with my Quirk. Izuku started dumping his fireproofing on himself in their third year of elementary school. Oh I’m going to beat you up. Izuku could climb and hide better then the other kid. Izuku did step in when Bakugou bothered other kids, but that was about the extent of his involvement. More so when Bakugou realized he couldn’t hurt other children like he could try to hurt Izuku in school.
Systematic bullying and abuse was awful. Izuku though could withstand it.
“Well you are tweleve. That gives you time,” Eraserhead said.
“Ha! I knew you knew who I am!” Izuku grinned. “Yeah, it does. Hoping for a different middle school honestly. Aldera suuuuuuuucks.” Izuku rolled his eyes. “Maybe look for an analyst specialized school.”
“Smart.” Eraser hummed. “And of course I know who you are you problem child. The only reason I don’t do anything is I’ve seen you use that chain of yours.” Izuku grinned. He closed his notebook with a sigh.
“Alright I’m going home.” Izuku announced. He stood up to stretch before reaching under his hoodie to pull his chain out from where it was wrapped around his hips. “See you Aizawa.” With a hard snap, Izuku used the chain as a whip, wrapping it around a fire escape on another building before jumping off the one he stood on. A nice trick he’d picked up from Aizawa actually. He used to use chains to wrap around enemies and launch himself forward to them, and this new trick wasn’t much harder.
“Wait you know-“ Eraserhead said before his voice was lost in the wind. Izuku just laughed. Hacking was easy, and his new worlds form of lock picking. It wasn’t hard to figure out who Eraserhead was with that.

Izuku tapped his fingers on the desk, staring at the screen in front of him. He’d been randomly wandering social media when he saw it. A post from a random account on Tumblr. Not something he’d pay attention to normally. If it wasn’t for two things.
One, the name of the blog was IronFuckingBull. A phrase the Iron Bull, his husband, used in Izuku’s past life.
Two, the post had the same message written out in Qunlat, Tevinter, Elvish, Dwarven and Inquisiton code.  A code Izuku helped his spymaster develop his past life.
There were others like him out there. And… a very strong possibility Bull was one of them.
Notes: Ran out of steam, this is one I DO want to do. Basically it would be following Izuku as he and his friends adjust to their new lives. Some other notes: Nezu is Solas who died at the hands of the DA4 protag. Izuku had been with them and sat with him while he died.
Iron Bull is Tetsutetsu. Krem is Awase.
Momo is Varric while Hawke is Kaminari.
Fuyumi is Vivienne and has already exposed her father and entered politics with her husband Hawks (Duke Bastian reborn to)
Others would come.
Pairings: Izuku/Tetsutetsu, Momo/Kaminari, Fuyumi/Hawks. Others TBD

{Darren Barnet, 28, cis-man, he/him} We are so glad to see you safe, COMTE HISASHI MIURA DU PONT of FRANCE (JAPAN)! It’s dangerous out in the world these days, but I hear that you are METHODICAL and AMBITIOUS enough to handle it. Just don’t let your VENGEFULNESS bring you down! Stay on your guard, because with your secret being at risk for exposure, you wouldn’t want everyone to find out YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN IMPRISONED. {laura, 26, gmt+10, she/her, n/a}
It should have been a simple story, a French nobleman and a commoner from Japan having a whirlwind romance. The Frenchman returns home but leaves a young babe in his wake.
There were not many options for Hisashi and his mother. She did her best with the options she had, but they never actually had enough to get by.
It was this which lead to Hisashi discovering Japan’s criminal underground. Hisashi revelled in it. The danger, the reliance on his own wits, the ability to forge his own path.
It was always going to come crashing down, and it did in the most spectacular way. He became to confident, was caught with his hand in a rich man’s pocket, and was hauled before the courts. There was never any suggestion of a second chance. Hisashi was certain he’d be left to rot.
Two years after the beginning of his sentence his father’s lawyer appeared. His father had died with no heir, and a peice of paper legitimizing his bastard son. The Japanese officials had agreed to release Hisashi on the condition he left Japan forever.
His choice was simple. Stay in jail and never see his mother again, or leave for France and never see his mother again.
Boiling with rage he packed up his life. Hisashi Miura became Comte Hisashi du Pont. A nobleman with a plan, to bring the whole institution crashing down.

“So… Who did that?”
Death Arms was already leaving, walking quickly in the direction of a house whose garden was full of flowers.
“As far as you’re concerned, he was two meters tall and could breathe fire.”
Gasp- how did they find that Bastard, Hisashi Midoriya? No one has seen him in 10 years!
Izuku probably did a double take when he read the paperwork for that incident.

movie recommendations?
OOO yes thank u for asking daniel i have Lots of movies i like but ill keep it short n sweet (edit after i wrote everything: i did not keep it short) all links are to the movie’s letterboxd pages (and while you’re at it follow me on letterboxd)
animated:
the secret of kells: a fictional story based on the actual book of kells, an illuminated manuscript of Celtic gospels. it was nominated for best animated feature in 2010 but lost to Up (personally i think fantastic mr fox should have won that year but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) BUT it’s a beautiful movie and has a beautiful score and such intricate art its so inspired by the illustrations of the actual book it’s Insane
the tale of the princess kaguya: released in 2013, this was director isao takahata’s last film with studio ghibli, and his last major film ever before his passing in 2018. it’s a retelling of the japanese folktale the tale of the bamboo cutter from the Heian period. it’s about a man who cuts a bamboo and finds a baby in the stalk, who is actually a princess from the moon. once again it’s another GORGEOUS film done in all pencil and watercolor- and hand-made. and once again joe hisashi comes out swinging with one of the most underrated ghibli soundtracks of their entire catalog. much more of a serious tone than kells, yet made me cry in 15 minutes not out of sadness but out of like. the joy of life and stuff like that
isle of dogs: the obligatory wes anderson film, this one’s my favorite by a longshot. it’s about a boy who goes looking for his dog after japan bans all dogs during a canine flu outbreak. that’s a simple explanation. it’s all the best things about wes anderson with his beautiful flat still frames and wonderful voice performances from everyone involved.
live action:
the great dictator: the charlie chaplin film. you know the one if you know film history. a satirical comedy about the nazis that’s pretty damn funny yet a commentary and reflection of humanity at the time of its release, 1940. MANY of its messages ring just as true today as it did over 80 years ago. it’s proof that a movie does not have to take itself seriously or be stuffy in order to say something important. at the time, no one was making movies about the current war and the nazis, and chaplin, for a moment in time, was the bravest man on earth for creating it and going through with the film.
inglorious bastards: a quentin tarantino film about the bastards, a group of american jews scalping and killing nazis. yes, another ww2 film. it’s entertaining, it’s exciting, it’s truly exhilarating. a high energy film. a high tension film. it makes me tired after watching but it’s so so worth it.
moonage daydream: a visual documentary about david bowie. directed by brett morgen, it tells us nothing new about bowie’s life. however, it retells his story in a visual collage of light and color unlike any other story. it’s a way that i think bowie would have loved to have his story told.
send a sleepover ask!!

Treasure Vault - CH 4
Characters: All for One, Yoichi Shigaraki, Second One for All User
Relationship: All for One & Yoichi Shigaraki, All for One & Second One for All User
Warning: Platonic Yandere, EXTRA Disturbing behavior, Vault time, Force Feeding, self-imposed starvation, AFO being surprisingly nice with kids
Summary: All for One has had enough of his little brother's rebellious nature. He can't afford to risk his little brother's life by letting him continue this. If he has to commit cruelties to keep his brother safe, then so be it. What's one more sin on the pile?
It has been months since Hisashi entrapped his little brother in that vault that had never been intended for this. Each day grew longer as it felt like the ghost of his victims lingered longer than it should. Wondering if the guilt of everything was truly driving him mad and now had tried to do some 'negotiations' with the Vigilantes.
They were becoming an annoyance and while had been tempted to just get rid of him felt as if could win them over. Maybe he can use that as leverage to show Yoichi he isn't just a monster and has got some heroes on his side. Well, that was the intention but it was clear upon first meeting the leader was... Well, they certainly had quite a look.
Those red eyes and rugged looks would be quite charming if it wasn't clearly looking like he wanted to shoot him with his quirk. Likely only held back because is still startled at the sudden peace treaty. The very same man who laughed and cheered after slaughtering men was also trying to reach out to the ones who hated crossfire.
"You must have lost your mind considering you haven't exactly been 'kind' toward my group," the leader, uh was it Kenji? Kaiji? Some other third thing? Ugh, he's terrible at names well he will just call him Gearshift since it's his quirk.
"But you still accepted the offer to talk," Hisashi points out with a smile as knows it means the other is hoping for some kind of avenue. As even the leader must know when it comes to a one-on-one confrontation with All for One it was a death wish. Though he didn't respond to that seeming to be waiting for him to offer, such a quiet man.
"You must be really popular with the ladies," Hisashi notes with a sigh as he shakes his head. Holding his wine glass that had been poured the other wasn't touching his offered drink. As if expecting him to poison him, "I didn't poison it. Trust me if I want you dead you wouldn't be standing."
The man's eyes narrow as if to say he didn't believe him as he moves the drink farther from him, "I rather not drink during negotiation."
Negotiations are going to be quite difficult. He could at least make an attempt to try and smooth things over.
"Fine, more for me then," he answers with a shrug. Knowing the man likely thought of him as childish as if the bastard had any right to judge him.
"What do I have to give for you guys to ally with us and help us dismantle the government?" He might as well cut to the chase. Watching the man's lips turn into a sneer guessing didn't like how he went for the point.
"When you stop so casually getting people hurt in the crossfire and gloating how great you are," Was all Gearshift answered as stared intently at him with pure contempt.
This cheeky bastard. A part of Hisashi wonders if Yoichi would even actually like the man or would only like what he represents. He grits his teeth just a hint but it turns into a smile as he looks at the man. It was unbecoming to get upset over such things he knew this going in the other already had a negative impression of him.
"You do realize I'm in a war against the government itself right? Most fault is in them they don't even acknowledge me," he points out as he leans back in his seat. "I've had 'civilians' be contracted to try, capture, harm and poison me. I'm just trying to survive and most of the people I take in are metahumans or former ones who been hurt. I'm not the villain you think I am and you can ask anyone working for me."
Gearshift certainly seemed quite a stubborn man but even he should at least see he isn't all evil. Slowly All for One leans on the table as he stands up allowing the other to see his full height as he looks him down with a coy smile.
"So tell me, what will it take?" He purrs at the other as he holds out a hand toward the other. That is until the other let out a loud laugh making him recoil in confusion because what was so funny?
"You seriously believe that you can just buy me? That I sell my soul to you just because in your delusions you believe you're in the right? That the amount of people you've murdered in your quest is justified?" Gearshift looked amused as if wanting Hisashi to admit it. "I may not like the government but if you end up in charge I already know there will be no future for Japan."
There is a pause as the great symbol of evil slowly registers that the other truly believed that. This man would prefer a government that is in martial law, abusing its power, while being too slow to do anything. Worst there was no fear in this man's eyes simply staring him down despite likely being aware of what he could do. This insignificant man was acting as if was some how equal to him in threat despite the fact at this moment All for One could easily kill him and he be helpless.
Seems like this meeting was pointless. A pity.
A heavy sigh escapes him as he slides back into his seat more than able to tell that since the start the man wasn't here to negotiate. He was here as a courtesy and to make it clear where he stands. Hisashi tilts his head just a bit as he stares intently at the man who seemed to think the conversation was over. Slowly getting to his feet there was one more thing that needed to be said.
"You're a killer too," Hisashi speaks calmly watching the man tense up. "You've murdered my men and stolen from the government. Play pretend all you want that you're some hero and I won't do anything now. This is neutral grounds, but next time you get in my way..."
His malice, his hatred as he grits his teeth at the hypocrisy of this man acting as if he was something above the rabble. This hero was a man carrying out his own sense of justice no different than his own. His hands were not clean and he won't let him leave thinking he is, "There won't be any mercy."
It was a promise.
"You never show it to anyone. So I expected nothing less," was Gearshift's own response. Though as he got up he suddenly got really close to All for One's seat moving in close to stare him down. "And you don't scare me."
His last words before he leaves.
All for One and the 'Vigilantes' failed to make an alliance. But he knows next time he will make sure to wipe them out now that he knows who they are. With a leader like him they can grow into a challenge, he needs to be careful.
As he downs the rest of his drinks knowing he could have done better. He knows what people want and yet he couldn't bring himself to do it. Something about him, those eyes that looked down at him despite their differences created a visceral response. That made him want to forgo using a quirk and grab his hand around that man's throat to wipe that look off his face.
He is much too emotional for the role he wants to become.
"And I still have to visit Yoichi," he mutters as he gets up guessing there was no point in avoiding it.
---------
His little brother has been suffering hallucinations and delusions since being trapped. Claiming things that Hisashi knows for a fact did not happen like hurting him and constantly insulting him.
Yes, he has called him some names but Yoichi acts as if he would spend every visit just beating him down verbally and bruising him. Even Hisashi can't tolerate being that terrible his little brother is already trapped, why would he do that?
It seems like a waste of energy so can only assume Yoichi is hallucinating such things. Was it concerning? Quite a bit so a part of him is wondering if he should take him to a doctor. Since it made his brother even more hostile than normal toward him randomly and bruises have started appearing on his brother likely self-inflicted.
Still, he doesn't stop his usual routine of making his baby brother's food by hand. Bringing in more food knowing it would be wasted and having to force-feed him it was his attempt at showing he still cares. That he will even accept even a pleasant lie-
Only to have to sidestep a tray being flung at him as if Yoichi had spent all day just waiting for him to arrive.
"Have you really resorted to throwing food?" Hisashi speaks almost exasperated at the other's action.
"Just let me go dammit!" Yoichi shouted before covering his own ears as if to ignore anything he wanted to say. Those green eyes were now shut as looks away despite the assault as he was curled on the bed. At least he was using the bed instead of being on the floor and here he thought he slept on the floor.
"Stop that. You go and then what?" Hisashi sneers hating every time the other talks about leaving. He places the food on the table as he watches his little brother curl up into a ball on the bed. Knowing for a fact the other doesn't actually want him gone at this point his resistance is nothing but a show.
A way to make himself feel like he was still following his own moral code and not throwing way too long of a tantrum. Hisashi watches his little brother not move and takes that as a sign to approach. Even though he recoiled when he felt the bed shift Hisashi makes sure to move an arm over his other side.
Trapping him beneath as he stares down at the young man who kept his eyes shut and a small hum escaped him. This is the closest he has gotten in a while that didn't earn a violent reaction. Slowly he leans down and presses a kiss against his little brother's head hearing a sharp breath from the other.
"Shhh I'm not going to hurt you. You know that," he whispers as the male seemed so exhausted and weak. Though Hisashi can't help but feel pleased when the other doesn't lash out like he usually did. It was a triumph, or well it would be before he heard a growl and then felt teeth dig into the arm he just put over the other.
Hisashi winces but guessed he should have expected it as his little brother has been becoming more animalistic in this place. Though he doesn't remove his arm as he feels those teeth dig in as at this point his brother was pitiable.
"You've become just an animal," he sighs it no longer hurts him as much that his brother hates him now. Though as he stares at his little brother memories of how they would hide in bed together return to his mind. Their fights that used to be playful were now violent as he could feel his brother's teeth pierce his skin.
Able to see those green eyes staring at him as if daring him to insult him or aggravate the situation. Unheroic and an absolute mess but he was still his adorable baby brother despite all that.
"Have you gained a taste for human flesh? You can have a piece of myself inside you forever," Hisashi teased knowing before he reacted a bit more violently but he wasn't showing it. Though seem his words worked as Yoichi seemed to realize what he was going on and released the bite trying to move away from underneath as he wiped his mouth of the blood. Snapping out of whatever he was in.
"You're disgusting," Yoichi mutters. Whether it was because he teased wanting a piece of him literally or was trying to imply it actually tasted bad he isn't sure. He hopes it's the former he hates to actually learn he tastes like shit this way.
"I'm disgusting? Have you looked at yourself? You literally bit me," Hisashi taunts as he sits upright with amusement as this was the closest they had returned to their old selves. With his brother acting annoyed and grumpy as hell about whatever Hisashi did.
Yoichi looked ready to retort only for the male to seem to realize he was giving him what he wanted. Shutting up instantly and stopping all conversations, is a pity.
"I had a meeting with the Vigilantes," Hisashi notes casually watching those eyes look a bit surprised. Was it really such a surprise to hear that he opened his hands to some small little militia?
"I decided to try for a 'treaty' but it seems they already have me as the bad guy in their mind. Next time will be a blood bath," he informed and of course, Yoichi's expression changed back to annoyance. Clearly not pleased at being informed of this likely thinking they must be right. As if ready to start another argument.
"Do you wish me dead as well Yoichi?" Hisashi questions casually watching his brother look gobsmacked. Whatever statement his brother had cooked up in his mind suddenly screeched to a halt. How adorable.
"Stop asking me that," Yoichi mutters as clenches at the bed sheets. "That is NOT related to anything we are talking about! Stop trying to act like some victim!"
Ha! A victim? He's many things but he knows more than anyone he is no one's victim maybe in his youth but he has since gone past that.
"Oh you misunderstand Yoichi," he purrs as he reaches out and grabs his little brother's face with his injured arm. Earning a hiss as he forces the younger male's head to look up at him to make it clear to look at him. To stop turning his head away and running from him and truly face him.
"I just want to know how far gone your mind has went. Heroes aren't supposed to be murderers you know but everyone has killed. No one hands are clean," he speaks with clarity as his free hand tucks some of his hair back behind his ear. Before he taps the others heads almost mockingly, "Now tell me... How would you have helped people? I'm curious if you ever had any ideas or you were just content in telling me I'm wrong, hero?"
He couldn't help but mock the young man as can still recall the others attempting to help with no ideas or anything. Yet more than content to snap or call him out on doing what he thinks is best all by himself. The very man who has been trying to take care of Yoichi despite everything.
"I-" Yoichi seemed to be trying to think of an answer. Something that likely would somehow convince Hisashi he was wrong. But maybe because of the state he was in nothing seemed to come out as frustration showed in his brother's eyes. But Hisashi wasn't at all done with this conversation.
Does he think he can allow him to wiggle out of this suddenly acting docile now when they are having such a pleasant 'chat'?
"Answer me," he sneers as he tightens his grip on his brother's faces watching him wince in pain. Here he was giving him a chance to show him the errors of his ways to actually tell him why he was wrong. "What would you do if men you thought you could trust betray you? If the government wished you dead or rather to turn you into some helpless experiment? You aren't an idiot, you've seen how people treated us so tell me YOUR big idea? Or... Would you have rather been some pathetic bystander?"
Yoichi's mouth still held his blood and seemed to have difficulties speaking despite his attempts. So Hisashi decided to grant him mercy as he released his face shoving him back against the bedpost.
"Would you kill me to be a hero?" His voice was low as he stared at his brother's eyes as if waiting for him to say it. To say that after everything that had happened, he would throw his brother to the wolves. Or if really had some ideas it be nice to have some honesty for once.
"Stop it. I don't want you dead dammit," Yoichi whispers... Hisashi did not expect him to still hold onto that belief. Looking almost stunned as didn't detect any lie despite everything that had been done. His brother... Truly was an enigma.
He isn't even sure if it's Stockholm or weirdly genuine. The way his brother had tears in his eyes was puzzling after everything he had done yet had strength in those words. To make it clear that he didn't wish his big brother dead despite how much of a monster he was.
"How can you think that and yet not join me. You make no sense," he sighs wondering if isolation has truly messed up his brother's mind he definitely needs to talk to the doctor. Moving his hands into his coat to take out the bag of food. Watching his little brother's eyes dilate with fear at the sight.
"I wonder how long before that changes," Hisashi speaks as he pins his little brother down as he smiles down at his little brother. Coming to enjoy making sure his little brother eats and stays alive, "It is time to eat, my hero."
He speaks mockingly as he continues this cycle and the guilt he has is slowly disappearing. It was all he could do to keep his little brother alive able to see his brother's will is weakening.
Soon they will be a family again.

I’m just going to go ahead and say Izuku absolutely did not have pain killers during the bone carving. This Hisashi is such a bastard. And, the anon that said he would be willing to prostitute Izuku if they couldn’t knock out that guy…wow. How do you think Snipe or Aizawa would react if they learn about it?
Murder
They are compiling an extensive list of Hisashi’s crimes to make sure he is put away for a very very long time and even if he does get released would probably have to leave the country due ti several heroes unofficially hunting him for sport.
Not that he would find any sanctuary somewhere else. Hunters are an insular group, and the old generation that grew up with the kind of training that Hisashi supplied, the ones that survived anyway, never forgot the scars it leaves.
