WHICH GODDESS FREQUENCY IS CALLING YOU? PICK A CHARACTER.

Hey! So today is a beautiful venusian day. And every venus day I love to express gratitude to the goddess flow. I picked four from egyptian mythology and wanted to do something connected to the energy.

Alright. So lets begin :)

GROUP 1 - BASTET

You are being called to higher ground. You're absorbing too much of other peoples bullshit and boundaries are needed. Peasants are trying to take your charm and your beauty as it is a priceless energy. She's connected to you through your joy and need for stability. Your energy is heighten when alone, and giving yourself time off from things that are exhausting you are important. sekhmet, goddess of vengeance (asteroid 5381)

Sekhmet means "she who is powerful". It is believed that she was created from the fire of Ra's eye when he looked at earth and saw the disloyalty of humanity. His ire towards humankind made her a weapon; she was meant to destroy those who were disobedient to the gods. She became ruthless and had a great bloodlust; she killed so many people that Ra had to devise a plan to calm her. He gave her a mixture of red wine and blood - she drank it believing that it was purely blood and became more peaceful. In some versions, she passes out and Ra removes part of her essence to create Bast or Hathor. After the drink (in either version), she was less bloodthirsty and more manageable. IN MY OPINION Sekhmet in your chart can represent a) where you are powerful, b) where you seek vengeance, c) where your wrath gets the better of you, d) where you are ruthless, and/or e) where a part of you is missing after a moment in life where you are too angry/powerful.

i encourage you to look into the aspects of sekhmet along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of sekhmet AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede sekhmet!

This night I presenting my designs of my beloved goddesses 🎶🐈‍⬛🍷

In this story i try to do they're sisters, although technically it's a real part of the myths but on this occasion I want to make it the most literal possible as can be. Sekhmet being the older sister who has a rather tense relationship with they father (Rá), Bastet being the adored and pampered youngest daughter, and let's not forget the talented Hathor as the brightest middle sister.

Each of them has a very particular type of relationship with Jonsu, and if you know that myths you will know what I mean... probably this gonna be most chaotic then I expecting.

Front: Serqet!

Currently awaiting a proper statue for Amun-Ra, and need to get Mama Anupet a bigger jackal (I thought the itty bitty one was gonna be as big as Dad and Wep’s 😭) but!! It feels SOOO good to have Them all represented somehow!! 💜

Also please excuse the fuzz and ashes on the shrine cloth, I own a lot of black faux fur that sheds on everything, and ashes are kinda par for the course with incense smh

Trying to get back into worship

Im hotep y'all

Kind of in a bad spot right now and I want to strengthen my connections with the Netjeru I worship. My depressions been hitting bad and with my new job, I haven't had the energy or motivation to do anything else really.

I also feel I've been selfish with the Netjer, like taking more than giving. Asking for too much without giving something in return.

I this blog as mainly a digital grimoire and a digital altar for my Netjer, but I would like to do something more than that for Them.

I live in an apartment so I can't light candles or anything like that. If anybody has any advice or ideas, please let me know and may your chosen Netjer bless you with love and luck!
