You looked like a small thundercloud as you stomped through the halls of the compound towards Steve’s office. You had been on a week-long recon mission with Sam and Bucky. Sure it had been fun at first but after the first two days, their instant bickering lost its charm. Now after seven days you were ready to tear someone’s head off and since you’d tried yelling at the two idiots plenty without success the past few days, Steve was next in line.

“Steven Grant Rogers if you ever do that to me again, I’m going to make sure you’ll suffer a slow painful death,” you hissed, the moment you walked into Steve’s office. Had you been less moody the surprised and slightly intimidated look Captain America himself sent you, might have amused you. But not today.

“Excuse me?” Steve sounded just as confused as he looked. The two of you were close. He was like family and honestly like the older brother you’d always wanted. It wasn’t exactly usually for you to yell at him like this, much less threaten to cause him bodily harm.

“I get that you were busy with politicians or whatever Tony needed your help with. But that’s the last time I am going on a mission with those two knuckleheads without you. Do you have any idea the hell I have been through?” you rambled, ignoring the look of realization followed by a slight smile on Steve’s face.

“They argue about everything. I mean everything! Who gets to sit where in the car. What we are having for dinner and then from which place. Where who should sleep. Who should be on the first watch? They even started bickering about who was the funnier cartoon thingy. Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse. Steve!” you yelled his name when Steve started laughing.

The super soldier instantly held up his hands and stopped laughing. The smile stayed on his face, however.

“Alright. I’m sorry. You know they don’t mean anything by it though right?” Steve asked, and you sighed letting yourself fall down in the chair in front of his desk, finally relaxing a little bit.

“I know. But that doesn’t make them any less infuriating to listen too,” you sighed, shooting Steve a glare when he chuckled again.

“Alright. I do have some bad news for you though,” Steve started and your eyes widened as he handed you a folder.

“Steve! We just got home!” you grumbled.

“Listen the party isn’t until next week,” Steve referred to the police fundraiser you were reading about in the folder. Apparently, the police Captain had been tied to HYDRA so that was just perfect.

“I have Nat and Clint tracking him now. But I am going to need someone there that night,” Steve explained, making you groan.

“Can’t you just sent Sam and Bucky as each other’s dates? I mean that would be more believable than all of us there anyway?” you pleaded, making Steve chuckle.

“No. But I can keep one of them outside with me for back up,” Steve grinned at you and your eyes narrowed in threat. You knew exactly where he was going next, but you hoped your stink eye would do the trick and stop him. Sadly, Steve had never been smart about picking his battles.

“The only question is who do I send in with you? Any preferences?” he asked you anyway, leaning back in his chair with a smirk on his face as yours started to heat up. You weren’t sure if it was from anger or embarrassment. It didn’t really matter.

“I really hate you sometimes Steve. You know that right?” you glared at him, tossing the folder back on his desk, before getting back up and heading towards the door to avoid further embarrassment. You had no idea how Steve, had found out about your crush on his childhood best friend, but he had.

“No? I’ll guess Sam will do then,” Steve spoke casually making you spin around in the doorway to look back at him, smiling at you in challenge.

“Unless you’d prefer Buck?” he raised an eyebrow at you, causing your face to tighten up much like you’d just sucked on a lemon. “Would you? Prefer Bucky?”

“Yes,” you hissed, almost stomping your foot in the ground when Steve began laughing. You managed to stop yourself though, instead of twirling around heading down the hallway yelling over her shoulder as you went. “A very very painful death Rogers. That’s a promise!”

oh damn, you sure can say that! I’m not exactly having the best night, but receiving this definitely made it better!! So thank you so much 💙💙And the time I put into my gifs really depends on what type of gifs I’m making. Sometimes it only takes around 15 minutes for me to get them ready to be posted and other times, it can take days of planning, sketching, finding the right scenes and getting light, colors, etc. to match 😅

A/N: This one is my entry for the amazing @roxyspearing giftastic challenge. Be gentle with me it has been a while since I have written anything Supernatural, but I found myself missing Dean tonight.

It’s set sometime after s14 I guess, but there are no spoilers to last nights ep.

Sam rolled his eyes as he returned to his seat with a beer in hand. He was the designated driver, but he was a hunter and it hadn’t been the first time he had driven on a few. He wasn’t quite sure a few would be enough if he had to listen to Dean drunkenly tell the story of how he had met you too many times.

As annoying as Dean’s exaggerations were he couldn’t help but smile, as Dean now started the story with a badass, hot as hell hunter showing out of nowhere kicking both the Winchester’s asses as well as Cas’ when they had accidentally messed up her ambush. Every hunter in the bar ate the story up, even if they all heard a million different versions of it tonight, Dean was still a Winchester and that held value, no matter how ridiculously drunk and smitten he was.

Cas, however, tried to protest to his presence that night since he hadn’t met you until a few months late. The only ass that had been involved than had been Dean’s bare one as Cas’ had accidentally walked in on you and Dean making up after a case where you had pretended to be married. As infuriating as you had found each other sparks at ignited between the two of you that week and perfectly timed Cas had opened the door to Dean’s room to witness the result.

Somehow even in his drunken state Dean managed to leave that story out. His subconscious apparently still had enough self-preservation to not let that one slip to a hunter that might pass their knowledge on to you. You and Dean loved each other more than anything, but your relationship was nothing if not passionate and Dean retelling that story just might result in a little more excitement than the older Winchester wanted from life.

Sam laid a hand on Cas’ shoulder when the angel tried to correct yet another exaggerated story that made you out to be the hero. Which admittedly you were. You had saved the Winchesters’ asses more than once. Cas’ too. But it went both ways which Dean seemed to forget that night. That fact made Sam smile a little even if listening to his brother’s stories over and over again was getting on his last nerve, he also couldn’t help but laugh when Dean jumped up showing off a picture of you to all the other hunters in the bar.

“Look at her! She’s hot too! Not just badass and fucking awesome. And she’s marrying me tomorrow… whaaaaaaaat!” Dean exclaimed, pride shining from his eyes as he looked around the room, happy with the approving nods from the group. Cas, on the other hand, was more busy trying to ensure Dean wouldn’t fall backwards and crack his skull open as he almost tripped over a chair.

The angel sent Sam an annoyed glare, making Sam shake his head. It was Cas’ turn to be on Dean duty and it was gonna take both of them to get the happy, drunk hunter home to the bunker to sleep it off soon.

“I’m not sure there’d be a wedding if Y/N saw this,” Bobby grumbled as he sat down next to Sam, but he wasn’t able to hide the smile from his eyes. He might not have known the boys from they were kids like his alter had, but that didn’t mean he hadn’t grown attached to them quickly. “Idjit.”

“He is,” Sam grinned, showing Bobby his phone and the video he had sent you a few minutes ago, “she knows that though. She still loves him for God knows what reason.”

Sam chuckled with the surprised expression on Bobby’s face. Y/N had been family for almost a decade now. She was like a sister and she made Dean happy, which made Sam love her even more. Even if her promise to marry Dean was now turning him into an obnoxious, drunken, love-struck idiot, Sam still couldn’t stop smiling. Dean deserved this, even if it meant Cas and Sam had to suffer tonight.
