saw the post with Vasco and Machete vibe checking a bubble and was curious if they'd actually be similar sizes as dogs?

I'd been picturing Machete as a small trembling terrier and Vasco as a long leggy bloodhound

They're pretty equally matched I think, I'd say roughly 70 cm (or 28 inches) at the withers. Their breeds are fictional, but physically their closest irl counterparts would be Ibizan hound and Porcelaine. Both fairly large hunting dogs.

#since I haven't drawn them with other people yet I think I'm failing to communicate #that they're both taller than average in anthro form as well #like around 185 cm/6'1" I'd say #that includes Machete's heels though so maybe Vasco wins by just a smidge? #but with them on they're equal and Machete of course has the ear advantage #to be fair I haven't adjusted any of that to the average height of the late 1500s which was likely significantly shorter than in modern day #it would get needlessly complicated just I haven't bothered #answered #ccghastly

I feel like faekonig is getting to a point of comfort with Liebling where he could mock them.

Like he's moving all their favourite things (like tea ect) to the top shelves and they gets all steely and point at him "stop it" and he just turns to them like "sToP iT" and keeps going.

He's doing it again. You stare up at the top shelf in the back room where you can just make out your favorite mug. Do you have other mugs? Yes, and they're well within reach, but this is a matter of principle.

You reach up, standing on your toes to try and be tall enough but you can't reach over the edge where König's pushed it back. You look around for your step stool. Gone. Typical, you don't even know why you looked. What is it? Have you not let him do enough around the shop recently? Now he has to find other ways to make you rely on him?

Is it not enough letting him carry all the heavy stuff and put all your daily necessities on the high shelf? Now he's gotta put your nice mug up too? You make a frustrated noise and hop to try and smack your hand closer to your mug. It only pushes it back further from the edge.

König returns the favor, obscura falling just enough for you to see his wicked teeth snap at you, mocking your feeble bite. You are not proud of the whimper they draw from you, nor are you proud of the heat they pool between your legs. You can't take your eyes off the neat sharp tips of them even as he speaks.

"I am not scared of your bite, kaninchen," He lets you watch his tongue slide over his teeth before his hood falls again. You glance at his eyes, gaze too hot and heavy to hold. His fingers are insistent where they press against you jaw, tipping you head for himself as he lean close, "Do you need a reminder of that?"

You shake your head, eyes squeezing shut to wait for the pain that doesn't come. When you open your eyes he's standing watching you like you're the weird one.

"Stop doing that." You frown at him, more annoyed that you fell for his trap than anything else.

"Stop doing that," he mocks, turning to leave the back room. You gasp in affront and he moves more quickly to get back to the shop.

"See if I let you in the house tonight, asshole!" You call after him, watching fae part for him like they might catch your wrath if they stand too close. Testy your ass, if anyone is testy its him.

It was in queer communities that I’ve found people that I idolize, that I want to be, to learn something from. And I’d say that’s a gross generalization, that’s a lot of things and a lot of people. But I grew up in San Francisco in the ’90s. I watched men die. There was an awareness of the gay experience that was not a foreign concept to me. So, it was a narrative that I cared deeply about. I wasn’t like a f— saint or like 'I’m the man for the job', they hired me and they said, 'You’re the guy,' and I said, 'Okay, I’m the guy I will do my best, I will do my best to talk about it in the way I believe and a way that I’m passionate about'. So in many ways I’m glad that it was me because it was a thing that I really like showing up for and it meant a great deal to me that it meant a great deal to other people. Because when people say they were affected by that show or that relationship, it’s not because of me, it’s because of that relationship on a TV and the risks that people took to put that on TV and most important of all it took the people watching it to have the "aptitude" for seeing beyond what was maybe given to them in other avenues of culture. People of all ages, all spectrums of awareness say, 'I didn’t grow up with a show like that and it was a really meaningful thing for me to see,’ and I go ‘I didn’t grow up with a show like that’ and that would’ve been very meaningful for me too, you know?, regardless of the fact that I’m a straight kid. That has value. For anyone who’s been an underdog, we all know, in any shape or form — sexual, religious, biological, whatever — it has value because there’s going to be a lot of people who see that and go, 'Okay, I can now understand this in a context that maybe I wasn’t able to before'. It's supposed to be another clickbait news but it comes at the time when the existence of ghost was recently proved factual at a small town in Illinois along witha its dead teenage superhero, when the heroes of Paris and by large France accidentally revealed they weren't adults at all, not even close, when Spiderman was unmasked to be 16-year-old Peter Parker, when the Young Justice was wounded in a large scale attack.

Most of the people involved and not involved are not having fun.

(This is inspired by the Miraculous fanfic The Growing Pains of Child Soldiers by BloodWolf13, a fic which I recommend you read since it is very, very good. Hits all my whump and angst points)

Ghost are the embodiment of what they represent. An example skulker is the embodiment of hunting. Without skulker no one could hunt. It just doesn’t exist anymore.

In this a dc villain captures amorpho in order to find out hero’s identities. The villain has to figure out how to utilize amorpho. He’s only managed to trap him using tech from the fentons.

Danny cannot find him amorpho in time. The villain manages to take away disguise from everyone but himself. For Danny it’s not as big of a problem as it is for every other hero.

Danny has two whole separate identities not so much a disguise. (He transforms not just throws on a mask. Same would apply to captain marvel)

This leads to a pre teen and a teenager both pretending to be mature trying to find amorpho. They both have no idea what there doing.

After a bunch of nonsense they free amorpho. Disguises now exist again.

sorry im emotonal and going off of the other asks sent about machete and just i need to stress how beautiful it is to me that machete sees himself so undeserving of love and affection and feeling as if vasco's too good for him but despite all that he is so incredibly devoted to vasco and loving towards him (in his own way) but is so incredibly clear to anyone with eyes that just how in love he is with vasco. like it's not done out of a "oh god please never realize that you're too good for me here here let me overdo it with the affection" its done with the "i love you, and will always love you, no matter what happens to us or separates us, and i will give it to you as long as i am able, and if you ever leave, i won't be okay, but will still love you, and want you happy". like he doesn't use his own feelings of being undeserving taint his love or the way he loves for vasco, and it's so, so beautiful
