This is a true statement that I made to my father. He watched me go through two solid years of episode ( schizophrenic )living with him and my mother. They didn’t know what to do with my bizarre behavior in and around the community I livedI lived in. I lived with them so they would call the police or sheriff’s department. The sheriffs would take me to hospitals but I was so delusional they would let me out before my problems were resolved. I’d come back home so delusional that everything was bad for me and trying to kill me. In this process of police and sheriff’s coming out to my residence I spit on an officer. I was arrested, incarcerated and givin 3 years probation with stiff fines and because I was on disability for being mentally Ill I had take on debt to pay fines. They used excessive force in the county jail on 4 occasions and a police officer slammed me in the street of my parents house in front of them. It all resulted in me having a chronic condition in my spine from the abuse. I told my dad “ if I become delusional just let walk the city, leave me alone. Don’t ever call the police or sheriffs on me”. I feel sheriffs guards could of had a social worker or someone trained in these instances that could instruct my parents what to do with me and kinda evaluate me. More of a proactive act that would help them with me. I went to 3 hospitals but I didn’t get the right follow up care and suffered abuse neglect and injustice along the way.
