You know how y'all are into the whole Pecharunt possession over Kieran thing? Well, I have one enlightening thought.

What if Pecharunt possessed Juliana instead as an AU?

Like at the end of the Teal Mask and before to Indigo Disk, Juliana was in shambles over betraying Kieran for simply lying to him because she was told to do so and regretted not telling him and having a crush on him which makes her feel worse and going as far as hating herself for being silent about it.

At her vulnerable moment, Pecharunt possessed her and basically made her convinced that being nice(befriending a shy gentle boy who never had a friend before) and obedient(being told to not tell Kieran out of safety but look what happened) is what got her in trouble and she should forget about it if she wanted to ruin herself and others around her more. She should focus on being more stronger, not rely on anyone and not let herself be distracted anymore.

And that led to Juliana undergo a change. From being a friendly and caring person who battles for fun to a very cold person who pushes away her friends out of underlying fear to not hurt anyone anymore and focuses on being a better battler than she already is. She no longer battles for fun; she battles and trains to get stronger and push herself hard to be better and perfect and not get attached anymore and not to be distracted.

It gets to the point that even Kieran, who at the time is obsessed with getting stronger in order to simply beat Juliana, to notice something isn't right with Juliana and her habits aren't healthy(that's saying something coming from him who doesn't get enough sleep and trains nonstop) and slowly grew concerned with her as his feelings for her resurfaced.

His concerns grew even more when Ogerpon, the pokemon who chose Juliana over him, and the friendly Raidon(Juliana had switched for the aggressive one) goes to him for help them snap Juliana out and get Pecharunt's control off of her.

Kieran sees Juliana as the hero and possibly himself being the villain. But now it became the hero turned villain and the villain becomes the anti-hero situation.

I dunno, this idea got me thinking hard and the possibilities here!

I got another silly little prompt for the caught fic that may interest you 🥰

Ok so what IF, at some point the brain scanner is used on Spider for the second time (perhaps as punishment for bad behaviour) and as he blacks out and his iron grip on the memories is released, one of them is finally revealed….but the memory is not of high camp or it’s location. No, the memory is of events that occurred a year ago when humans returned to earth.

In said memory, it’s all red and animal screams can be heard from all over the place. Spider runs through a burning forest, reaching hell’s gate where sirens blare as the scientists scramble to evacuate. Last second, Spider is grabbed by Norm and as they fly away on the scorpion, an apocalyptic image is shown and the boy crashes in avatar’s arms, sobbing and screaming at the horrid sight.

Then, the memory fades away, and Miles’s heart, to his disgust, clenches at what he had just seen, at the suffering his boy endured at the hands of his own kind, those who he is supposed to FIGHT for.

I LOVE it!

I got this just after I'd written the side plot of the Neuroscanner being sabotaged, but it's such a great idea I wanted to publish the ask anyway! Imagine what seeing that would make Quaritch feel. Would he develop any sense of empathy for Spider (in this AU)?

In the canon timeline, I straight up see him questioning the side he's on, but being too concerned to voice those fears - to anyone. Maybe him and Lyle have a late night discussion one evening while Spider sleeps, about the memories they saw in his brain and how that must have affected him growing up. Quaritch tries to hint at Lyle that maybe what the RDA is doing isn't so great after all, but Lyle reminds him (with advice that only a bestie can provide) that it's not their job to muse over the ethics of their orders. Their business is with Jake Sully and avenging the wrongs done there.

So I was watching Mark playthrough the West Arcade portion of SB (for...science reasons...) and the brief glimpse of this arcade machine made me think of Haku and dragon March, cuz I was interpreting the green has like a flowy mane. Though looking at the actual texture it seems to be a deer (Rudy real not clickbait??) facing forward rather than a floofy dragon facing sideways. But my brain already ran off with the idea.

What if dragon March were from another world and was isekai'd into the 'Plex via an arcade machine?? That would mean DJ is likely to be one of the first animatronics they encounter. And maybe eventually DJ can leave the 'plex via videogame portal??? (not the weirdest thing to happen in the 'plex xD)

I hope this isn't too presumptuous or pushy to say. It was just a fleeting idea that crossed my mind, feel free to ignore it. xD;;;
