Hanami loves her friends dearly… even though she doesn’t quite show it… peace and love on the planet earth…
Just because her facial expressions can't show how she feels, doesn't mean she doesn't show her love and care for her friends in different ways! (I mean, for fuck sakes, she went up against Gojo alone and on a whim just to save Jogo!)
She shows her care more through action. They all do honestly! But she also just gives out a ton of support, kinda like a beam that holds up a house, one that you don't see but you appreciate even if you don't realize it (and might sometimes take for granted).
I can see Mahito being a lot more verbal with his love and care for the rest. Definitely still touchy (giving hugs and kisses, either out of actual care or to annoy/piss off his friends), but is also ready to give out compliments and praise (though sometimes these are backhanded, it can be hard to tell because he uses the same or similar tone every time).
While Jogo is more of a tsundere, kinda. When dealing with his friends bullshit he is quick to fly off the handle and get mad, but he is never going to actually try and hurt them (just screaming and chasing, possibly a couple rough hits if he catches them, and by them most of the time it is Mahito).
But he can also show his care in a passive way, such as letting everyone huddle close to him if they are in colder area (especially Hanami who I can see getting a bit tired in the cold when not in a fight or on a mission or something). And just letting Mahito or Dagon have their fun roasting stuff over his head (something he would never willingly tolerate with anyone else that wasn't a friend).
Then Dagon is a more go-with-the flow kind of character (pre-evolved especially) and is always ready to follow whichever one of their friends they choose that moment. I also see them as having an "acts of service" kind of love language? If that makes sense.
Like domain expansion can take a lot out of the caster, and here Dagon is keeping it active for who knows how long just so their friends can have a nice beach spot to hang out in while they gossip and chit chat (plan world chaos). Dagon is absolutely showing love through helping their friends.
So Hanami and Dagon are the two that show their love and care through actions the most, while Mahito shows love through both action and speech, and Jogo shows it through action and inaction with some speech.
That's not even to mention their powers showing their emotions! Like Hanami just absentmindedly growing some flowers around her, any water near Dagon swirling a bit into whirlpools, Mahito's body changing unconsciously to show happiness, Jogo getting a little steamed up/overheated.
Hanami has plenty of ways to show she cares and loves her friends even if she can't properly make a face to show it! (though now I am thinking of Mahito giving Hanami a bunch of transifigured humans in the shape of emotion faces, like at a doctor's office, so she can use to help express her emotions better. She kindly refuses them).
But yes, they all know they care for each other (why else would they stick together through their crazy ass plan to take on Gojo? lol), so it truly is peace and love on the planet earth! (until it isn't)

I don’t think Hunter ever has or ever will use an acronym. Hunter says the full thing out loud no matter what.
He calls it an automated teller machine.
He doesn’t text ‘lol’ he take a full 7 minutes to type out ‘laughing out loud’.
Luz refuses to tell him what jpeg stands for so he has to use the acronym. He refuses to anyways
He asked Amity to pass him the light amplification by the simulated emission of radiation pointer so he could play with Ghost and she threw it at his head.

Gege's style of casually dropping terms, phrases, info that becomes important/prominent later: A small collection
Ch 1 Alluding to Maki and her natural strength.
Tumblr media
Ch 6 Cursed Wombs can metamorphosize.
Tumblr media
Ch 6 Domain Expansion. This is like, offensively throwaway considering what we know of Domains later. lol.
Tumblr media
Ch 8 Binding Vow.
Tumblr media
Ch 9 Reverse Cursed Technique
Tumblr media
Ch 9 Jujutsu sorcerers are cogs. I don't think Megumi and Yuji even discussed this before, unless it was a conversation that happened off screen.
Tumblr media
Ch 9 "With this treasure, I summon..." The first of many many many times Megumi teases us with doing something; summoning Mahoraga.
Tumblr media
Ch 11 The Prison Realm. I didn't pay nearly as much attention to this as it derseved at the time.
Tumblr media
Ch 32 Naobita being alluded to, and also Megumi being of the Zen'in bloodline.
Tumblr media
Ch 33 Sorcerers who are killed without using cursed energy can turn into a Curse after death.
Tumblr media
35/40 Simple Domain.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
35 Todo's Cursed Technique.
Tumblr media
53 Tengen.
Tumblr media
76 Using Limitless to filter out poisons. This has never actually been brought up again. But I'm waiting.
Tumblr media
77 Turning ordinary people in sorcerers. Forcing evolution. Geto concentrated solely on the whole, "kill all non-sorcerers" angle so it's easy to gloss over and forget this whole other option Yuki was talking about... Until later anyway.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ch 85 To use your Cursed Technique, you can't have Domain Amplification turned on. The importance didn't register for me the first time I read it. Or maybe, I misread it? It's easy to misunderstand this as something Hanami specifically couldn't/didn't do.

It kills me that people will still say The Jazz Singer is the world's first sound film when "talking pictures" were being made in the earlier parts of the silent era. Problems with amplification and synchronization kept these early efforts from catching on with the public, but a few early early talkies still survive today, like the above short, Jack's Joke.
It's so weird seeing a movie this old with sound, but it's also really cool. Or maybe it's just cool to a nerd like me lol.

for some reason nexus, by far, is the story where i felt most 'trapped'. honestly, i loved the way you wrote nexus, it feels a lot like a movie wtfff....
i often get a sense that most of your works are a lot reminiscent to classic novels to me, but this one felt like a movie! its actually amazing how flexible u are lol
mommy issues aside, that will be in another ask- lear. that hurt me.
i have to admit, i didnt really care for lear so much until ch 3 or 4, because i finally realized wow this guy is actually.............. genuinely nice. hes cute. in irl id maybe have heart eyes for a guy like him.
the sequence where reader has flashbacks of lear and lear probably being the first and only person to know her intimately (IN AN EMOTIONAL SENSE NOT THAT WAY) absolutely hit me harder because i eventually thought "WHY didnt i pay attention to lear in the first place?!" i initially didnt care for him because my mind was all BLADEE BLADEEEE, but now... fuck, lear, i shouldve been with you since day 1.
another interesting thing id like to think about is how reader's regrets, are definitely feelings that nona and lear are experiencing as well. all three are most likely, simutaneously although perhaps now lightyears away instead of mere walls parting them, thinking about their regrets over a loss thats almost like death. where will lear ever put his love now that n darling isnt around anymore? he can only look back to his memories and pray that it's enough to soothe him. would nona regret ever being mean to n darling, skipping her studies, and perhaps later on she would viewed herself as a burden to n darling in the past?
so much to think about, and so little emotional capacity i have to hold the overflowing emotions...
i love nexus and especially YOU LOCK !!!!!
omg i think it's cool that you found nexus' style similar to a movie... the scenes i imagined in my head felt cinematic-ish, especially n darling recalls previous dialogue at certain moments for emotional amplification™. i didn't think about it reflecting in the writing much, but i see what you mean now 😌 there's a lot of emphasis on visuals for prose and metaphors.
A LEAR TRUTHER !!! i wanted him to serve as a foil to blade, so i think once blade started pulling more shenanigans, lear's care for n darling stands out more. lear could've fallen in that possessive pitfall but he's simply built different.
aaa regrets and "i should've x" feel like some of the most effective forms of horror, since it's a universal experience. maybe not the exact scenarios themselves, but everyone's had that moment when they realized how they should've done things differently. when the news comes to light, lear will undoubtedly be emotionally devastated. nona will be as well, though her pain would manifest in anger more than depression. she'd be mad at n darling first, then mad at herself for not being able to do anything to help.
i can't leave them in suffering limbo though 😭 the astral express crew will be who take care of the stellaron crisis on eris. inevitably, they'll meet with lear and nona. the grief won't go away entirely, but the express crew will do/say things that help.
THANK YOU SO MUCH !!! i loved reading your thoughts 🥺 thank you thank you!!!!

Anon about the "FE stories have always been bad" in relation to Engage discourse, idk what happened but your ask got swallowed by the Tumblr void.
Anyway, I don't necessarily agree it's only Engage defenders that do this, but it certainly is a mechanism that comes up when a story gets criticized. IMO it's just a last ditch effort by exhausted people who refuse to engage properly with critiques. FE stories are actually quite great on average, what makes them "bad" is the amplification of notably divisive moments.
Like, for example, while I have problems with Echoes' story, I don't think it's bad, far from it! Some people think it's worse than Gaiden's though, solely on the fact that Celica "gets trapped for a better reason than in Echoes" and her depiction is less misogynistic... which, idk, that ironically sounds more misogynistic to me lol. Adding more depth to Celica's character over who she is and why she'd go to Duma's Tower in the first place is a lot better to me than her sacrificing herself just to save Alm. In valuing her depiction that to makes her "less naive and susceptible to manipulation", IMO you make her more shallow, vapid and somehow lacking less agency over her choices than before.
It's the same with Eirika handing over the stone to Lyon, Nils not telling the FE7 group the truth before Ninian gets kidnapped, Manfroy controlling Julia, etc. These stories are otherwise strong, but these particular moments open the floodgates for people to throw stones before asking why they'd be written instead. It's strange, though maybe that's just the English/Writing student in me talking.

"Looks like you're in the barrel today."
Implies that Gordon being the one to push the sample in was just luck of the draw. If they happened to have gotten the sample in on another day, maybe it'd have been another researcher in the test chamber? But then again, maybe the only reason they were given the sample for today was BECAUSE it was a day where Gordon had hazard suit duties. The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.

Coolant as a concept is so funny to me. It's literally just water that's meant to keep a giant machine cool so it doesn't overheat and explode. The infinite genius of the human mind can create these massive energy consuming machines, and our best solution to them getting to hot is still just to throw a bunch of fucking water on it lol.
Tumblr media
"The sample", "anti-mass spectrometer", "the administrator."
Again, speaks to Valve's method of story telling. They don't actually explain ANYTHING to the player. Gordon Freeman should presumably already know what the fuck they're talking about since he works here every single day. But it creates tantalizing story breadcrumbs for us as an audience to question and imaginate about.
Why does everyone blame Gordon for the resonance cascade? He's not the one who boosted the antimass spectrometer to 105%. He's not the one who took that gamble in exchange for extra resolution. Fucking Einstein here is the one who caused this tragedy, not Gordon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once again, more indicators that Black Mesa is a fucking shit show who is in way over their head. Meddling in affairs beyond their capacity.

"I'm afraid we'll be deviating from standard analysis procedures, Gordon."
"This is the purest sample we've seen yet."
"and potentially the most unstable."
"I've assured the Administrator that nothing will go wrong."
Something something. Capitalism.
Seriously, Gordon Freeman is the LAST person ANYONE should be blaming for the resonance cascade

I wrote 12k+ words today (well. Sunday. I drafted this lol) in rp and think I fried my brain.
(Mostly discord and my one post to side blog @azureglow )
I think I got all the webs off my keyboard. Rewatching JJK first season second time through.
I thought some questions would be answered. But uh. Maybe I need to go through manga again now. Aha. Random thoughts on s1 under cut.
Utahime’s powers. I need to know. What are they.
Also. Did Gojo break up with her in hidden inventory and I didnt remember. She’s so mad at him constantly. It’s great. But also. Why.
Also why is she at the Kyoto school. Didn’t she go to Tokyo? I have a lot of thoughts about Utahime rn ok.
Kudos to Todo. He truly is the weirdo athlete on the team who makes up scenarios in his head to win the game. 500k IQ indeed.
Trying to understand why Hanami’s (domain expansion? Left arm technique) kills all plants to convert them to cursed energy. Seems opposite of the nice Mother Nature thing she has going.
Gojo gets really close to everyone’s face because he’s looking at you with the 4 other eyes. Still no personal space.
I’m the same age as Gojo I realize
Bro, Megumi. I love you. More than Sukuna will. Don’t let low self esteem get you in a bad relationship in the future ok.
Nobara’s backstory. I need like. An episode more of it.
Also. I get it. I understand why I love (and dude bros on yt) Nobara so much now. She’s the cutest sassiest thing.
Is there anyone in the Gojo clan aside from Gojo.
Oh hey Kamo is like Choso i lite. With the techniques. The blooood laser.
Does the Zenin clan like. Not care about Mai’s technique. She’s kind of like mini god if you think about it. I get they’re patriarchal and hate twins but.
Thinks about Geto’s twins meeting the Mai/Maki twins. And how weird that would be.
Wait can Junpei use Shikigami like Megumi or.
Curious when Megumi had time to tame Max Elephant. But Gege doesn’t like background— only action. I get it.
Still confused what finger bearers are. Are they fingers that turn into curses.. or? Curses that formed around the fingers??
Where was Ino during the goodwill tournament.
Still trying to figure our domain amplification and simple domain.
Why is playful cloud such a not-fun weapon for Megumi to wield. Hm. I need more backstory.
What is Panda’s third core.
Also I didn’t realize there was an opposite to heavenly restricted, which is what Mechamaru has. Huh.
Why was Mei Mei at the goodwill event? She’s not a teacher. Do non teachers have the ability recommend students?
More ramblings. Eventually.

Been thinking more about the Bloom's parents are evil au, bc admittedly main characters being princesses is absolutely not my thing. Unless it's a political drama about fighting another member of the royal family, those are sick
Domino's first meeting with Bloom is when Tecna and Stella sets up projector screens and Musa projects her voice, after they've all been saved, so Bloom can address as many people as possible
Bloom has never done public speaking and practically everyone falls in love with this adorable girlie
Marion and Oritel are the first people from Domino she probably meets, the actual first people who ever so slightly mob her into a group hug
They're a couple who are the main Guardian faries for Domino, because Daphne was considered the Guardian of all of Magix
Marion immediately starts cooing over Bloom because she's been nearly murdered since she was 16 and Marion's motherly instincts are taking over
Marion and Oritel essentially are Bloom's first contact with what Domino is really like, and after this they're part of the ambassador team for Domino. So the Winx, and mostly importantly Bloom, keep seeing them
Marion and Oritel worked closely as Guardians with Daphne, so they have a LOT of stories about her
Marion and Oritel we're already low key parental to Daphne, who was really struggling under the pressure of gaining Nymphix and fighting the ancestral witches (they need a new cooler name—)
Marion and Oritel get phones and whenever Bloom has a question about Domino or what's currently going on with acclimating to new society she texts them because they're willing to deal with her chaotic tendencies and constant rambling
And they kinda adore her. She's so adorable, and they desperately want kids (but the political and social situation makes that hard) so they're low key playing aunt and uncle
Bloom's parents are near the back, no where near Bloom, and they only saw the address because of the screens and amplification magic
The first time they meet they're ecstatic to see her, but they're pushy. Incredibly pushy
They keep making small remarks about Bloom's adoptive parents not being her real parents, they keep calling her their name for her instead of Bloom (even when Bloom tells them not to), they expect her to move in with them, they expect her to immediately uproot her life to be the princess of Domino and Bloom doesn't want to. Bloom has low self esteem, hates being the center of attention, and is just plain fucking weird; so she kinda pulls back
They're a lot of small arguments because Bloom's parents are very traditional and Bloom is very not and Bloom as already shown she's really uncomfortable with most of the stuff expected of her and they're relationship is tenuous at best. She feels more a prop for good pr instead of their daughter
They also don't have any funny or cool stories about Daphne. They mostly talk about her in a very stiff way and it makes Bloom sad lol
I think it's rlly weird that the magix dimension is so advanced but still has monarchies? So there really aren't any absolute power monarchies around any more, the Eraklyon empire and it's royal family just fell last year and it was the last big absolute power monarchy. There's other smaller ones, on fringe smaller planets, but Domino is a outlier now
Like most absolute monarchies, there was a revolution brewing, but with the whole dimension being attacked thing going on Marion and Oritel put the whole "murder the shit king a queen" on the back burner
And then Daphne happened and they felt so bad for the girl and all she's going through, so put it more on the back burner
They're very happy that Bloom seems distant from her parents, it means she will be hurt less when they get rid of the king and queen
(they don't get arrested for this because the magic council ruled they're not a proper part of the magical dimension yet, they still finger wag at the couple tho. The period of destabilization is undercut by the entire magical dimension pitching in to bring Domino into the new age. So it's pretty quickly re-stabilized)
Bloom is part horrified, part happy that Domino doesn't have an absolute monarch anymore, part more scared and sad that her parents are in jail/gone, part relived that she doesn't have to deal with any more ect ect this back in forth in her head goes on and on
Technically the monarchy isn't gone because Bloom, and they ask her to step down to free Domino of the choke hold it's always been in from the magically powerful royal family
Bloom does so, and Marion and Oritel are very happy about this
(Sky is having a host of emotions, and a big part of him wants to burst out laughing that both he and Bloom ended up in the same situation)
Unsurprisingly this strains their relationship but they warm back up to eachother once they explain why Bloom's parents really really needed to be out of that chair right then. Bloom gets it, I can't imagine Bloom being pro monarchy outside of the initial "omg fairy princess 🥺" and she realizes that it's actually a political system
They eventually repair their relationship, and Marion and Oritel end up calling themselves Bloom's aunt and uncle and their child is Bloom's cousin by that logic lol, Bloom loves the little spark
Bloom is still beloved by the public and takes the official role of the Guardian fairy of Domino once the political system is re-set up
The other girls help her get use to being a proper Guardian Fairy as a part of a system and Marion and Oritel do everything to make her as comfortable as possible
Marion probably is elected leader, so she handles all this for Bloom
Mike and Vanessa can move to Domino whenever the fuck they want and live off of Bloom's considerable magical dimension salary (that doesn't work on the not integrated Earth) they go back and forth on it but if they did they'd become parent friends with Marion and Oritel
Daphne in this world is more elegant, close off, and proper compared to my normal fire cracker characterization to match with her new status as the good one from the royal family
Bloom has a small break down about how she could of turned out at least once, it's fine tho
You think there's like?? Events for Guardian Faries? Bloom has always been invited because of her role in protecting the dimension but it's always been awkward because she doesn't have a planet, and now she does and that's cool
There is a small (read: large) media circus around these events and Bloom fucking hated how she was constantly hounded
Stella and Aisha handle it for her and if push comes to shove Tecna and Musa chase them off with a stick
I think that's all my thoughts for now about this au/idea but I really like it rjejsje

Watching 03 for the first time and Mikey is currently my favorite (I love the show so far btw, it honestly might tie with rise to be my favorite rn)
But I just saw clash of the turtle titans and wow that episode was kinda hard to sit through
Personally it might be my least favorite 03 episode, but I was curious on your thoughts and opinions of this ep
hey, glad you’re enjoying it! i gotta say, you have good taste lol
oh my god, yeah. clash of the turtle titans is… something.
i remember watching it for the first time (i watched fast forward before seasons 1-5) and since i didn’t fully understand all the character development that he went through, it was fine? played him off to be a total jerk but by then he was already my fav so i was just cringing through his tantrum.
but AFTER seeing him go through all that character development - it does feel out of character. i mean, i can understand him being jealous and feeling ripped off, but the mikey we’ve seen in the past five seasons has gone through a LOT and has reacted more maturely in worse circumstances. it feels like regression AND an amplification of his worst qualities for the writers to have him act like that.
and yea, people regress and have bad days. another straw will break the camel’s back.
but it’s not played off to be that way, which is probably what bugs me the most. by all accounts, mikey has been having a blast in 2105 - walking around without hiding, all the new tech and video games to explore, new foods from different planets to try. they don’t show him having a hard time like raph, so him getting bent up over Turtle Titan II just feels very forced.
i could easily come up with an explanation based on my own headcanons and thoughts, but if the writers themselves didn’t actually put it in canon, it’s still just speculation. which means mikey was just being a brat that day.
i know they went through a change in writers and animators with seasons 6 and 7 but they didn’t have to do my boy so dirty 😭

friday fic f*ckery (wip wednesday 2 days late)
blurb | she returns! with updates! later than promised! new cv/sm snippet, after ..... six months :,) well, work kicked my ass, ch236 certainly didn't do any of us any favors, and then I f*cked off to latam for a month of vacation. but I'm back!!! rested, tan (for ca the 2nd time in my life) and freshly (re)inspired. so we can have some cv/sm ch2 snippet, as a treat ;a;
premise | we're entering culling game territory. that's all imma say for now. well ok, not much happens here, I mostly just wanted to show signs of life lol
Satoru is falling.
He’s falling, rapidly dropping from at least half a kilometer skywards. Cursing the inherent capricious fickleness of Prison Realm—Prison Realm, Buddha, Hell incarnate, whom- slash whatever has stuck him in this never ending loop—he rights himself midair, fumbling his graceless way through multi-seals of Red and Blue until he’s maneuvered himself from horizontal to upright. He cushions a dense amount of amplification/reversal beneath the soles of his feet, puffs an audible breath, and looks down.
Beneath his feet stretches a silver-black, opaque barrier. By cursory glance he estimates its radius to at least a handful miles. The skies above are overcast, though bright; the light spearing through the banks of cloud bounces off the barrier, giving its matte gray hull a sheen which flickers and wobbles in stretches of paces and tracts.
The barrier is an obvious giveaway: this is a Culling Game colony. Satoru’s well enough familiar; remembers a stretch of eight sleepless hours in which he’d devoured dossier after dossier of news clippings, incident reports, stat compendiums and autopsies, two weeks into the Culling Games, and a scant forty eight hours post-unsealing. He remembers boring naked eyes into a painstakingly noted, three-dimensional map-cum-graph of the Culling Game territory; affected regions: Tohoku, Kanto, Chūbu, Kansai, Chugoku and Kyushu; confirmed colonies: Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Yamamashi, Aichi, Shiga, Kyoto, Hyogo, Osaka, Hiroshima and Kagoshima.
Satoru has taken in the broad sweeps of Tokyo’s metropolis from far above one too many times to mistake wherever he is for anywhere closeby. What he chances: a large city along the coast; given his current proximity to an Eastbound shoreline, as well as a considerable expanse of forested areas and roiling, yellow fields eating into the scenery, he’s going to assume he’s either a few hundred kilometers North or South of Tokyo. Maybe Miyagi. Or Chūbu.
The barrier is too dense and too cleverly constructed to allow Satoru to peek through and glean more than the most base information: cityscape and skyline are barely visible, the shapes and contours which oscillate beneath the ripples of the sky-in-the-barrier appear like a mirage out of focus. There is vague movement far below, tiny prickles of dots which move every which way. Every few intervalled seconds reveal noiseless, sepia-tinted flashes. Explosions.
Well. There’s only one way in which he can proceed, unless he’d planned on hightailing it out of there. Which he hadn’t. Satoru, at this point past the point of expecting the worst—and somehow, cyclically, living (dying, really) through it—makes his way downwards warily.
He doesn’t know what to expect, in truth; twenty nine years, an indeterminate number of days, weeks or years inside Prison Realm, plus an unknown bout of days cycling through iterations of timelines which may or may not have actually occurred—he’s been exposed to shoddy veils cracking around the density of his own cursed energy; written tests covering the cursed fundamentals of purification barriers; barrier techniques specifically tailored to keep him excluded from what’s outside, safely contained within.
He doesn’t know what to expect here.
Satoru touches down on the barrier.
“Yo! I’m Kogane!”
If he weren’t blasé about the most outlandish of jujutsu techniques being shoved in his face by now, Satoru wonders if he wouldn’t have reared back into guard. He squints at the cursed spirit which has materialised in his face out of thin air. He’s read himself to the basics of this, but it’s his first time seeing it.
He’s about to reply ad hoc when it continues, voice tinny and clearly electronically scrambled. “The death matches known as the Culling Game are underway inside of this barrier!! Once you step in, you’re a player too!!”
“I—”
“Knowing that, will you go inside anyway!?”
“That’s morbid,” huffs Satoru.
The cursed spirit, Kogane—its structural composition isn’t all curse, atom constellations mashed down somewhere halfway between cursed spirit and inanimate object—undulates and flicks its tail. It doesn’t go on, seemingly content to wait for his reply. It’ll have to be in the affirmative or negative, Satoru guesses. A game interface, then. Curse based, but all in all a tool.
“Sure, I’ll tap in.” What’s adding some more death, decay and public property destruction to his already considerable tally?
Kogane’s tail whips twice, ceasing when it’s a perfunctory line, its arrow-like tip pointing straight into the glassy dome beneath. Beware, ye who enter—but here’s a map, lest you get lost en route to the deathmatch arenas. “Tch, sick bastards,” he mutters.
When it next speaks, its delivery is robotic, flat: “Gojō Satoru has joined the Culling Game. Would you like to review the rules?”
Satoru has already reviewed the rules. Most cold, factual data obtained and recorded on the Culling Game had been cursory at best—and guess work and estimates at worst—Ijichi plus Nitta times two had managed to patchwork sorcerer’s statements, CCTV and aerial scans, and classified government reports into a general debrief: the (probable) how’s, when’s and why’s of the game.
“I’m  good,” he says.
Kogane tuts. Mechanical and rote though it may be, it sounds chiding. Then it disappears, flickering twice, its shape disrupted by something static-adjacent until it bleeds out of sight and mind.
“Huh.” Satoru waits on the spot for a few seconds—parses out a few seconds, in case there’s more incoming.
Nothing else happens. He rights himself, and sinks a foot through the barrier.

this will just be my two cents for the gepard vs aventurine thing but i think the thing that makes aventurine better in an acheron team is his talent that gives allies with his shield 50 effect res, which lets you run aven as solo sustain (the only healer or shielder on the team) whereas with gepard you'll still need someone to free acheron from frozen/dominated/rampaging
also aven's shield is stackable and is not reliant on the ult (meaning you don't have to go for er rope) and you can also get the shield from when aven triggers follow up attacks
(just sent you a friend request in eu btw)
hehe thank u! I will accept when I log in :3c excited to be hsr friends!!!
also I wrote a WHOLE ESSAY in response to your thoughts I'm so sorry 😭 putting it below a cut:
I agree aventurine is overall better in an acheron team, and for me it's because of the ult rotations and dmg amplification, but in the context of general moc teams, I think a well-built gepard can compete with an e0 aventurine for most situations specifically in terms of sustain, assuming they both have around ~4K DEF. my gepard's shield is about as thick as aven's 200% shield, and he's usually fast enough to ult before my team takes significant damage. I agree though that shielding via skill is WAYYY more comfortable than ult, but if for example your DPS is named daniel heng imbibitor lunae then you can't be skilling too much anyway 😰 <- dhil main angst
this also might be because I have skill issues 💔 but I actually don't love the eff res mechanic on aventurine and you can usually cope with gepard's lack of it. even with cc bosses, gepard can usually solo sustain in my experience - his taunt with his LC is so high that he's always the one getting cc'd so my DPS is fine. this current moc 12 is the exception, but in the half where he can't solo sustain specifically because of crowd control, aventurine ALSO can't do it 💀💀💀 I think fu xuan and luocha are much better suited to cc situations, I wouldn't depend on aventurine for them unless you like to gamble (LOL)
tl;dr aventurine skippers you are valid 🙏 but all that being said. I hate playing gepard LMFAOAOA if aventurine hadn't come out my ass would be saving for huohuo rn 😔

Yes, sometimes I worry about it. I speak my heart here. Always you think I must be careful, don't say anything too extreme. Stay in your lane. Dont scare the youngers. Maintain your cool buddy because you aint got much cool left. But you all must know already that just is not me. Look, I'm gen x guy so I probably have some baked in problematic ideas in my cobbweb-strung attic of a brain. you are allowed to interrupt me at your convenience. I am not and never will be above the idea I need a course correction.
But I completely am that guy.
Dad jokes, everything. Need a cool dad who has zero problems with your demographic? Eeey.
But it's like artemesia and I, .........and the carrot soup.
Yes I just ate 75% of it, because anxiety, but this carrot soup..... is that? Cinnamon? This? this is not for me. Am I about to face weeks of animus and the complete loss of soup from my diet for months?
Why yes, yes I am.
If the soup is bad, wouldn't you rather know?
So when the soup is bad I usually have no issues pointing at that. Even in a crowd. I guess crowd size matters.
Or does it? I mean sure, amplification is scary, ask any musician you know. Same shit applies to me to everyone. Amplification is scary but if you got 8 seconds of time with that many ears pointed at you, for whatever reason, you take advantage of that shit. Its your duty actually.
I never will grace another stage with my otherworldly personas and the best I ever did was only about 200 people so I don even know what I'm talking about lol, but I did get to experience that. I think it makes a difference in how I approach stuff. Life I guess. If you get up there and you are not genuine. Earnest in your own confidence, and not fake confidence. Confidence in your beliefs, your......ethics. Those people are gonna smell you out. You get up there and you play your bass like no one else can, in songs that erupt from your heart. Scream your lyrics if you must or whisper them when you can, but deliver them. Dance like the whole fucking world is watching even when they ain't. I mean if you can't have the world judge you give me the megaphone because I live for that shit.
What am I even talking about again.....
Um...stay hydrated. That and fuck capitalism, colonialism, war, genocide, ethnic cleansing, political thugs, mothergodamfucking nazis, ANY religious extremists, and trump. fuck him.
That's what I was talking about I think.
Fucking smeagol again.

JJK CHAPTER 231 LEAKS
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mahoraga adapts when it receives an attack from the opponent and the wheel turns and spins. Gojo notices that the wheel turns black when Sukuna is using Domain Amplification, during this it can’t adapt. So the reason Sukuna can use DA is because the damaged part of the brain is only for DE.
Sukuna also notices that Gojo is using only simple techniques to avoid Mahoraga adapting.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The fight resumes once the light turns green 😂 obeying traffic laws while fighting 😂😂😂😂😂 Anyway lol
Gojo pulls the traffic light toward Sukuna who catches it and throws it back at Gojo at high speed
Sukuna said SIKE 😂😂😂😂😂
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Everyone tries to deduce how many spins it would take for Mahoraga’s wheel to adapt. Gojo talks to Sukuna as they casually walk around the city (like they’re not in the middle of a death battle 🫥 weird flex but ok 😂😂 when you’re the strongest you do what you want.) ANYWAY
while they’re walking around they talk about how the wheel needs a total of 4 spins to completely adapt to infinity and there’s still 3 more spins to go!
Tumblr media
Sukuna laughs at Gojo and tells him it’s the countdown to wipe that smirk off his face. Gojo makes a wide grin showing off all his teeth and says that goes for both of us lmaooooo
People of all ages, everywhere I present to you, Gojo, the king of trolling 👑😂
Tumblr media
Gojo declares he WILL kill Sukuna BEFORE Mahoraga’s wheel adapts to his infinity (so in the next 3 counts)
Hana: Don’t tell me he forgot about Megumi
Yuji: …. Maybe
Kashimo: it’s okay to forget about it
Hana: No it’s not!
😂😂 it’s really just a Gojo thing though. He’s so involved in this fight he’s forgotten one of the main reasons for it 😭🤷🏼‍♀️
BREAK NEXT WEEK!
Editors comment: THE COUNTDOWN FOR “DEAD OR ALIVE” BEGINS!!
Gege’s Comment: “It looks like Megumi’s not going to last for very long…”
