literally i don’t understand why people infantilize people with mental disabilities

no bubba does not have the mind of a child. he is literally just autistic and non-verbal. adults with autism are not children. bubba is an adult. stop treating him like a baby.

yes, it’s fine to see him as cute and adorable and all that. i don’t see anything wrong with also wanting to comfort him whenever he feels anxious or stressed but it’s weird asf when y’all wanna treat him like he literally can’t even do anything without guidance or help.

also i know max is based off of bubba but i don’t know if he has any mental disabilities. either way it’s still weird to infantilize him as well as literally any other character.

Thanks so much for asking um, my style is actually like a ‘serial killer chic’ meaning I have parental issues and have to manically splatter fake blood on all of my converse, boots and hoodies, cover my eyes in dark makeup, foundation 10 shades lighter than my skin tone, draw in fake eyebags and cheekbones so hollow I look sick and all my earrings and necklaces have little knives or some sort of murderous memorabilia, thank you.

SIGH. Here's older Fern ideas bc I'm hyperfixated on adventure time now

Honestly, I might be able to make an entire comic atp on how Fern eventually gets Finn to be less "forget the past" and learn to grieve and deal with his issues without pretending it doesn't exist. Or how Fern lost his arm or learns to accept the demon literally keeping his arm alive. Maybe even how him and the grass wizard get along after years of resentment. Or how he got the ability to drink and finally, felt like himself without piggybacking Finn himself.

(If anybody has some concepts or needs tweaking on the concept I'm OPEN)
