WAY too many. with a series with hundreds of characters im bound to be obsessed with a lot of the designs. so i really like all the ixalens from a design standpoint because they're almost... insect like but then they have that vorta paleness that's like okay you definitely came from a planet with a dense atmosphere that doesn't have a lot of natural light. the bird people had really good designs. tenma has that awful early 2010s shonen protag look about him but he's just so cute it works i love the cinnamon roll hair. chrono stone had a lot of random background characters that really slapped like engir and rudzhik it's baffling to me that this was the same season that had those awful mixi max designs. speaking of chrono stone i ALSO like the creepy factor of all the robot boys looking like. essentially the exact same like same height same body same skintone but with different eyes and hair it's so icky creepy i LOVE IT. i wish they were explored deeper because i love mechanical horror and the relationship between artificial beings and the organic life that surrounds them. not only that but their maker has like gendo ikari vibes. if u havent noticed i have a lot 2 say.

Btw i love them! The new format (for poa) can get a bit confusing (since you arent inserting the whole quotes from the book anymore) but its manageable and i love it already!

Hi! I do have plans bigger than them simply reacting to the stories but I’m going to keep these ideas to myself since I’m not sure how they may change with time/as the story progresses.

I don’t have an uploading schedule, mostly because my work schedule is unpredictable, but also because I write & stare at a screen all day, so there are times when the idea of doing more of that is unthinkable lol.

I’d like to get the next chapter posted ahead of or by Halloween to ‘mark’ the notable fandom date, but I can guarantee exactly when. Sorry!

SO in this case they may have had a very long stagnant period with no new hires and upper management was like "hey this is a problem let's throw money at it" and the hiring manager was offered a bonus for every new hire or wtv. if this were the case, the hiring manager would be incentivized to hire more people/schedule interviews/actually do their work. while its not a direct conflict of interest (as they're just trying to solve the issue, not necessarily because they arent being paid enough), it can very easily create or introduce ethical issues (such as if they arent being paid enough and need money/they push people through even if they arent qualified or a good fit just so they can get the bonus(es)). a lot of HR boils down to specific situations nowadays; if that manager is being properly compensated they probably dont Need the bonus so its just an extra incentive, but if they are Not being properly compensated (as most of us aren't) then yeah conflict of interest can very very easily pop up. sorry that this isnt very clear cut but i hope it helps somehow! also sorry to stop in if you already received an answer LOL but i guess its never a bad thing to learn smth :D okay bye have a lovely day

lol I definitely appreciate the answer, not weird at all! I’ll admit, I made that initial post after a major miscommunication happened with hr regarding my working location, and I was looking for reasons to be mad.

It also turned out that the institution does not give hiring bonuses to its hr staff for several of ur mentioned reasons, including the conflict of interest. So there really wasn’t anything to be mad about since neither of us got bonuses anyway, haha.

ngl i get the asoiaf neutral think now no its actually nice someone is neutral and doesn't say or drag characters too of course but majority i see here are v v biased from inside against character then stan perfectly flawed characters too no doubt we all do, but then they get so rogue rude and block or mock someone for criticising their fav characters.....and honestly ive only seen anti meta or posts against ONE character in asoiaf fandom and we all know who she is. its not something then that can account u as neutral no matter how many times you say this, im really straight when it comes to asoiaf characs i like: dany, arya, jaime, catelyn, bran heck even robb and brienne! (theon also counts and so many others) however, of course in the endgame i want or would want one particular choice of person on throne, u can never be neutral when ur reading book ur first thought is sympathy or hate or dislike or like for character! but i think some neutrals only um...some since i know a lot many here, who hate openly on other characters and sidetrack them, v main characters too but seldom are ready to hear analysis of their fav characters and get v pretty much rude and block you immediately - idk this means you dont really count as neutral then either because if some stans of one woman annoys you there are rabid and intense stans of other character who always always bring down the main characters (ofc i mean the teenagers who are always pitted against each other) and then bundles of neutral ppl like and interact w v v v problematic haters and lovers of stan character, when they could have remained 'neutral' u seen. (plus idk but from inside you always feel or like one more than other and still if u pose as neutral- its actually good u mean to avoid problems and discourse and it makes sense too but some are hypocrite. straight up. they dont really like all characters or as neutral would they kind of hate/express/make metas/write awful posts against one or two characters a lot, and if this irritates the stans of that character, they quickly take the high noble seat of being 'neutral' and same way goes for shippers. ppl here ship proper siblings together which is def incest but dont see problem with it however if someone ships a man and woman who are aunt and nephew..... they get terrible allegations of being terrible horrible stans for just..shipping characters that are foreshadowed even to meet each other ( its ok ofc if u dont ship anyone cuz im not hardcore shipper at all but some ppl are! - and both sides make each other feel bad). same goes for age gap ships lol, Only R/L ive seen in few months personally are hated intensely or tooo much and its okay if u dont ship or hate but those ppl who do SHIP them bcs hey,,,everyone has their guilty pleasures and things, those ppl get labelled as pedophi*es and pe*o apologism, when its not that at all, grrm write or wrote his characters with fucked up over sexualizations lets not forget that, and he writes only few wholesome relationships, if ppl stan literal real siblings i mean who aren't siblings but were raised as step-siblings with no emotions or feelings dramatically mentioned in books, then a ship of pre asoiaf time isn't pedo (but only if u use modern ethics and criticism to not ship them and def hate incest/shipping/age gaps) but a lot of ppl wo read books, know its george and his problem of writing characters like this even making dany/drogo scene consensual when...it wasnt and dozens of terrible sexist remarks of JAIME EVEN hurled towards brienne but hey its just ship not that deep, yet only few ships get hate here and other terrible ships w abusive men in asoiaf books dont get hate. (overall hate idea of ship cuz it erases a characters persona ofc when ppl fight over people they wanna ship with someone else and that character becomes just a character meant to be shipped).

Well I’m graduating uni in a couple months so if we could go then, I would be very down! But I would also probably feel the anxiety of needing a job and financial stability throughout the whole trip rip Also I don’t think I could travel w/ my parents rn bc we did go to europe for a while this summer and although I love my them a lot, I would rather travel with my sister or my friends for the time being :)

MX IS HAVING THEIR M O M E N T RIGHT NOW  and korea needs to pay attention! LIKE THEY RELEASED THREE (2 KOREAN, 1 JAPANESE) ALBUMS THAT ARE A++ WITH BOMBASS MVS/TITLE TRACKS, PROMOTING THEMSELVES LITERALLY EVERYWHERE WITH THE WORLD TOUR AND NOW JINGLE BALL AND ARE DOING IT WITH SO MUCH ENTHUSIASM EVEN THOUGH THEY MUST BE SUPER EXHAUSTED FROM WORKING NONSTOP THIS YEAR. And not to be that person but seeing them last year and then this year in concert really hit it home for me how much they’ve improved as artists and performers (not that they were bad to begin with) so in an ideal world, I would give a big award to Monsta X ❤❤

Song of the Year- Shine by Pentagon (lol sorry cloud)

it was a debate btwn shine or love scenario for me but shine did a lot more for pentagon’s popularity and name recognition than love scenario for ikon i think (since ikon already had ~ikonic~ songs like my type, rhythm ta, etc). The song itself is cute and really easy to get stuck in your head but not in an annoying way?? Plus the choreo made the hammer dance a thing (at least in my mind) and the way it rose up on the korean charts was p cool :)

I was late listening to it but after I got started, it was literally on repeat for at least a month. Just the way the album’s organized after ‘起承轉結’ makes the flow of songs from one to another is so perfect and all the songs were so good and it’s just really great 💗

An Introduction to Kim Namjoon

And now it is time for the wonderful Kim Namjoon aka RM aka joon bug

This post is for any new Armys out there but it’s also for people who have been around for a while, it’s an appreciation post meets an introduction post

I have quite a few appreciation posts dedicated to Namjoon, too many to link tbh but here is my official Namjoon appreciation post

Also if I miss out on something you love about him or a moment of his that you love, feel free to reply to this post with whatever you wanna add or reblog this and leave it as a comment on there, I’d love to read your guys’ personal favorite moments or qualities about Namjoon, these are just gonna be my personal favorites or things that have stuck out to me

So, an introduction to Namjoon

His full name is Kim Namjoon and his stage name is RM

His birthday is September 12th and he was born in ‘94, making him 23 internationally and I think 25 in S. Korea

I don’t really do astrology but I believe he is a Virgo, if that means anything

He is the fourth oldest member and he is a part of the ‘94 line with Hoseok

He is one of the three official rappers in BTS

I would describe joon’s rapping style as powerful

He’s got this deep ass voice and it just it’s so nice hearing him rap tbh he’s just got a s h i t ton of power in his voice when he wants to

He can also be really soft when he sings and that’s also a really amazing thing to listen to, would absolutely recommend

He and kook have done a couple songs together, they’ve done a cover of Fools by Troye Sivan, they’ve done a song called I Know, joon has also done a song with Tae called 4 O’clock, which is r e a l ly fucking good

He has also done a solo mixtape called RM

He’s released quite a few singles, some of which were from the mixtape and some weren’t

He’s released a song with Wale called Change and the lyrics in it are really fucking amazing (the video can be found on bighit’s channel)

He’s released Do You, Awakening, Joke (these can all be found on the BangtanTV channel)

He’s also been featured in a song by MFBTY called BuckuBucku, which he’s performed live with them (if you havent seen him perform it, plz go watch it bc bts were so excited in the audience and kept looking around for namjoon and got so hyped when he came out) 

But his mixtape is really re a l ly good and underrated in my opinion

Namjoon is the leader of BTS and he’s a damn good one at that

You really see just why he’s the leader in American interviews

He’s amazing at encouraging the other boys to speak up during the interviews but he also knows when to step in and take over

He knows when to joke around in interviews and when to be serious about things like the album/songs and what they mean to him and the group

There’s this c la s s i c moment where it’s like a hidden camera situation and I think it’s BangPD who asks him if he’d prefer going solo or staying with BTS and without a m o m e n t of hesitation not even a second, he responds with BTS

That moment still gives me chills tbh

Now for some things joon is known for in the fandom

English

Namjoon learned English fluently by watching Friends a bunch of times

He is the only member that is considered to be fluent however the other boys are improving every time we hear them speak English so that may change v e r y soon

Intelligence

Joon has a really high IQ and he’s shown his intelligence in so many different ways

He’s obviously been able to teach himself English, which is already so fucking impressive

He’s so smart when he talks in interviews too?? like i saw this one comment that pointed out that joon’s never afraid to admit he doesn’t know what something means and that he always asks to find out

Like when someone asked him about being a heartthrob and he didn’t know what the word meant, he had z e ro hesitation to ask on the spot and find out new information and I think that’s really cool and important to note bc he’s not afraid to say hey i dont know what that is, mind explaining??

What I love about joon is that he doesn’t try too hard to come off as smart or try to boast about being smart, he embraces the fact that he’s smart and uses it to his advantage but he never rubs it anyone’s face

He’s got a really good balance of showing his intelligence and being proud of it while still being humble about it

Producing

Namjoon is another one of the main producers/composers/writers of BTS, he’s worked a l o t on their albums, there was one album I don’t remember which one but he’d literally had a part in creating almost every single song

He’s written s o many different songs for BTS

Namjoon also has started this thing where every time BTS release an album, he does a VLive and will talk about the album and sometimes, like last time, he’ll released snippets of another version of the song

So, in the last album related VLive he did, he showed what Fake Love was originally gonna sound like and that sort of insight is just honestly amazing

Dancing

Namjoon is one of the members that was not originally a dancer

With every era, his dancing just continues to get better and better and seeing his improvement is honestly so amazing

Clumsiness

Namjoon used to be referred to as the God of Destruction, I don’t see it being used as often as it used to b u t he is known for being pretty clumsy 

He once almost fell over while sitting down

He’s not 100% clumsy though bc he’s actually really good at ice skating!!

A LOVE FOR CRABS

Literally just posted a video of him saying hi to a crab and is forever trying to hold them and just chill with them when he sees them he l o v es crabs and I think that’s really fucking adorable

Fashion

Joon bug has a whole OOTD series called KimDaily, which can be found on the official BTS twitter 

They’re rea ll y really cute and the outfits are always just s o him like he really expresses himself in his fashion choices and I think that’s really fucking cool

Namjoon has never shied away from trying new looks, he’s worn lace and skirts and corsets and looked amazing in all of them btw
