Hey so uh…. Love ur fics and this is my first time requesting so, Dante (DMC 3 to be exact) x reader/girlfriend who is on her period headcaons

DMC3!Dante x Fem!Reader Period headcannons

-He's way too stupid to notice when it's your time of the month. He blows off your grouchiness as a lack of sleep or something.

-Since he doesn't notice, he keeps trying to initiate a certain activity and feels disappointed and hurt when you shrug him off.

-This prompts you to explain to him that it's your period, which is a concept that is almost impossible for him to grasp. Blood is pouring out of you?! And it's not from an injury?! What the heck?!

-Has no idea how to care for you but tries his best because he's earnest. like a doggo

-Would buy you pads and tampons and whatever if he could, but he's broke, unfortunately, so he ressearches how he can improvise. After reading an old magazine (his method of "ressearch") and seeing advertisements from the 1980s, he gets the bright idea to try and make reusable cloth belts the way people did back in the day before pads were invented--and surprisingly, pulled it off.

-You now have an entire closet full of these things--and they're washable, too! You may never have to buy pads again!

-Dante isn't a complete idiot though, once he figures out that periods are normal and that as long as your pads aren't leaking you're fine and everything will clear up in a few days, he'll assign himself to be your personal cuddler.

-Wraps you up (but not too tight) in his arms and snuggles with you whenever you like makes himself scarce when you want to be alone, and sets up for movie nights complete with pizza and chocolate.

-Snuggles you and comforts you however you need to be comforted.

-If you're the type to get raging mood swings, he knows to disappear on missions so he doesn't accidentally incur the wrath of Y/N.

-After being introduced to periods once, future periods become less of a hassle. Dante will remember your behavior and will be able to recognize your change in temperament, associate it with menstruation, and knows to take the appropriate action.

-Secretly is terrified of you; Hell hath no fury than a woman on her period.

Your boyfriend has some catching up to do

"Who's that?"

You look furtively at Xiaolong catching you simping over your little fictional guy. Actually, what the hell. There's no way he knows how weird you are over these characters.

"Oh, er. It's Seong Taehoon from Viral Hit."

Xiaolong takes it in, nodding once, then asks, "What's Viral Hit?"

"The webtoon! It's pretty popular."

Like a curious puppy, Xiaolong tilts his head, "Webtoon?"

"...Online comics? Naver? It's a pretty big deal in South Korea. I thought you might have heard of it." No response. "Sort of like manhuas? Mangas?"

You thought that might have provided a spark of recognition but Xiaolong continues staring blankly at you.

"Seriously Xiaolong, have you been living under a rock?" Honestly, how has he never-

"Any spare time we had, we were told to train. I haven't ever- I've never read..."

Xiaolong looks away, ashamed at his lack of knowledge. You feel like a complete asshole. You didn't even think. The guilt digs deeper when you apologise and Xiaolong acts as if it's his own fault for his shitty past life.

Trying to make it up to him, you download the app on his phone, show him the series and make a few further recommendations. You are determined to do this for him. Give him a do-over for his horrific childhood and teenage years.

It's a small gesture but it's a start.

"Huh, Xiaolong? Did you come to bed last night?" Rubbing the sleep from your eyes, you stumble into the living room.

Your boyfriend is in exactly the same spot you left him. Has he even moved an inch in the last, you check the time, 8 hours?

Looking extremely sleep-deprived with revealing bags under his eyes, you wonder if he has even registered your voice as you wait for his response.

A pause too long as his brain catches up, then, "Sorry Y/N. I've just been catching up on this."

You stifle a giggle, knowing the grip of a good story and comic all too well. Maybe you can make him a coffee to give him a boost. Or a night-time tea as a strong hint to please go to bed, at least take a nap.

As the water boils, you check your phone. A notification catches your eye:

he doesn't really go out of his way to interact with you but instead waits for you to come up to him - luckily for ike, you seem to have a lot of questions about studying you'd like to ask him.

the type to be a bit on the quieter side when it comes to having a crush - in fact, he's the kind to quietly suffer from a one-sided crush.

he tends to stay away and avoid the person of his affection while craving your attention. he's very hot-and-cold in that sense

the moment he realized he truly had a crush on one of the top students in his grade (aka you in this scenario), his face flushes red. he starts kicking his feet in the air when thinking of you and draws little hearts around your name in his notebook

Accidentally bumping into the reader as he rushes to another crime scene ; it was nearly at first sight

he was dashing around the city, trying to avoid spilling the beans of his latest case until he suddenly runs into the cafe door that you happened to open ‐ papers and other important documents fly through the air and all he could think about was how red and flustered you looked when accidentally hitting him

from that fateful meeting, the two of you would often bump into each other around the city by pure coincidence. they do say that after the third meeting, it must be meant to be.

he's either the kind of person who couldn't shut up about how much he likes this person and when someone asks him "why not ask them out?", he suddenly becomes super bashful and shy and "d'aww!!! do you think they like me too??"

or he's super lowkey about it until the point where you have to ask yourself "does he really have a crush?"

the moment he realizes he has feelings for you was just during an average conversation - you could be talking about your day, complain about other people or whatever, but mysta's mind seems to drift elsewhere ; "ah. i like this person."

first it was sneaky glances, then it was taking the seat next to you and asking how are you and where are you going - you later find out that he's in the same school/workplace as you

from there, it started hanging out outside of the bus - taking you to different locations across the city and just spending time with each other

shu seems to be the kind of person who is lowkey about his crush - he just likes to be able to be near you and thinks that if he suddenly starts telling you how much he thinks about you, you could get scared off by that

in fact, he's also the kind to suffer from a one-sided crush as well - he'd rather have you happier with someone else than him sometimes even if it makes his heart hurt a little bit

the moment he realizes he has a crush on you, he says it feels as if something just clicked. like a gear shifted in the right way and a light started appearing around you. in his eyes, the world seemed a lot brighter after this realization.

VOX AKUMA

Switched orders on accident at a local cafe

picture this - you're at your favourite cafe trying to get your favourite drink. you're distracted when suddenly you hear your name get called out to retrieve your order. the second you take a sip from the cup, it isn't yours.

you then meet the light tapping of someone's shoe (or... sandal?) against the cafe's floor and lo-and-behold; the akuma himself, holding your cup

he seems to take a liking to you, especially after you complained about his weird drink and he even gave you his number, strange.

from then, you would meet up often at the same cafe, discussing different culinary techniques and even teaching each other new things

vox seems like he'd be lowkey but very direct if asked about having a crush too, but fortunately for him, not one to suffer from a one-sided one either.

he realizes he has a crush when he firmly believes that he can truly stay by the side of this person as equals. it's a cozy, warm feeling he feels in his heart when he realizes how much affection he feels for them.

Tanjiro had gone out to buy groceries while you were on the couch in pajamas watching a Christmas movie. You were eager and excited for Christmas and wished that it was already Christmas Day so you could celebrate and open gifts with your boyfriend. You then heard the door opening and saw Tanjiro with a smile on his face enter.

“Y/n, guess what I got us!”

He set down the groceries and held out one particular bag to you. You took it from him and opened it to reveal a big box with a gingerbread house on it.

“We’re going to build a gingerbread house!”

You beamed at him and he nodded and chuckled.

“Aww you’re like a little kid, it’s adorable.”

He teased and you pouted before dragging him to the table and dumping out the box’s containments. There was a list of instructions, little bags of different candies, different shaped gingerbread pieces and a tube of frosting. It smelt so sweet and sugary that you had to open one of the candy bags up and eat a couple.

“Hey, don’t eat all the candy, we still need them to decorate!”

Tanjiro laughed before clearing the table a bit so you guys had more room. You both began unpackaging all the stuff and once you finished, Tanjiro began to read the instructions to you. He told you exactly what pieces were needed where and you gently placed the pieces in the correct spots before sealing them together with the frosting.

You would let the frosting dry a bit before adding the next piece of gingerbread. After a couple of minutes, you had finished the base structure of the gingerbread house and now it was time to decorate.

“Okay, do you want me to place the frosting in areas and you stick the candies on top?”

“Mhm, you better hurry or else I’m going to eat all the candy.”

You joked and he playfully rolled his eyes before grabbing the frosting and beginning to lay some on top of the roof. You stuck some gumdrops and the spherical sprinkles (idk what they’re called) on top of the layers of frosting and then finished after some time.

“It looks great! Good job Y/n!”

Tanjiro said and you smiled and hugged him.

“Thank you for buying this, it was so fun!”

“It was! We should do this every year like our little Christmas tradition!”

You agreed and then you both spent the rest of the night cuddling together on the couch by the warm fire.
