Temari was pregnant on her wedding day: A Naruto Timeline analysis

[usual disclaimer: I love studying canon timeline but no one's headcanons have to be bound to it just do what you like bye]

Note: for simplicity, I gave years numbers, the Kyuubi attack/Naruto's birth are in 2000 and the other dates are based on that

Fact 1: Gaara is at least 20

In Gaara Hidden, one of the councilmen tells Gaara "You've steadily grown, and reached the age of twenty" and Temari and Shikamaru are in the process of choosing their wedding date in this novel as well, so the Wedding has to happen later than that.

We know from the data book that Gaara is from the same school year as Naruto, and born in January, so he is born in January 2001. (In Japan, the school year is from April to March of the next year and the children in the same class are the ones born during the same school year, not civil year. If you want to know why I say that data books are based on school years, not civil years, flick me a request and I will happily do so! Just not here because it'd be too long.)

We can conclude that the wedding is in February 2021 or later.

Fact 2: Shikadai graduates 15 years after the 4th war

There is no indication that I've found in canon material about when the Boruto events happen, but we can read in this interview that Naruto Gaiden happens 15 years after the last chapter of Naruto. (We will have to assume that "last chapter" here means chapter 699, not 700, or else all the new gen has spent 15 years being teenagers at the academy.) Naruto Gaiden opens with Shino telling the class (Shikadai is there) that the graduation exam will be in a week.

The issue here is that chapter 699 happens in October (Minato says happy birthday to Naruto in chapter 691 the same day, and we know from the data books he was born in October) and the graduation is presumably in March (again, that's one the school year ends, and Itachi is also said to graduate "in the springtime" in Itachi Shinden). So it could mean either 15,5 years later, or 14,5 years later.

The 4th War happens in October 2017 (Naruto turns 17 during it, that's the age the data book gives us).

We can conclude that Shikadai graduates either in March 2032 or 2033.

Fact 3: Shikadai graduates at 11

It is the minimum age as per the law (it is said in Itachi Shinden, this law is made shortly before the Rookie 9 graduate: “now that it was a time of peace [...] it was no longer possible to graduate in a short time [...] no matter how talented Sasuke was, he couldn't become a ninja until he was eleven years old”).

It is the age at which all the Rookie 9 graduate (they are said to turn 12 during the first year of naruto and 13 during the second, again, I can give more details about data book ages in another post if needed).

The naruto wiki tells me that the Naruto data book says he is 12 for the Chuunin Exam, but the scan I have of the data book do not seem to indicate any age that I can find?

So this is not 100% a fact that I have found a canon material number about, but it's the most logical possibility (he's not allowed to graduate younger, there's no reason he would graduate older, this is what happened to the previous gen, and this is what the whole fandom seems to believe, so, yeah).

Similarly, everyone seems to agree that his birthday is September 23, I have not found where that comes from yet, but I have to assume it does come from somewhere. If you know please tell me!

[Edit: apparently it comes from a bonus calendar in the Shounen Jump issue 6-7 of 2019 but I haven't found a scan yet.]

We can conclude that Shikadai was born in either September 2020 or 2021, depending on the graduation date.

Conclusion

If Gaara Hiden and the wedding were in 2021, Shikadai cannot have been born in 2020, so he has to be born in September 2021. If we imagine that Gaara Hiden takes place right after Gaara's birthday (the earliest date) and then Temari and Shikamaru got married on the month that followed, Temari would have been 2 months pregnant, and this is the minimum she could have been.

Greetings from Alberta’s Energy Transition Corridor, Canada’s unlikely green power hotspot

Along scenic Highway 3, a multibillion-dollar renewables boom is transforming the energy landscape

As Grant Arnold strolled down the long rows of black and silver panels at his company’s solar farm near Burdett, a hamlet along Highway 3 in the south-eastern corner of Alberta, the October conditions could not have been more ideal for generating clean power. The sun beat down on the 72,500 south-facing solar panels, as a pair of miniature donkeys named Starsky and Hutch kept the facility’s groundskeepers – a herd of sheep – in line.

The Burdett Solar Farm is a new 20 megawatt facility developed by BluEarth Renewables Inc.[1], where Mr. Arnold is chief executive officer. Burdett and its sister facility, Yellow Lake, 20 km south, cover 85 hectares of farmland. BluEarth built them amid a massive influx of capital that has flowed into renewable energy along Highway 3.

These investments have made the province that’s long been known as the country’s fossil-fuel centre its green energy hot spot as well. Welcome to Alberta’s Energy Transition Corridor.

The highway cuts across a vast region that is reaping the benefits of famously bright and breezy conditions, a welcoming market for investors and big strides in green technology. Combine the space and the weather with provincial rules that allow power generators to sell directly to users, not just a government utility, and the corridor is uniquely well positioned. “It’s not happening anywhere else,” Mr. Arnold says.

Also called the Crowsnest Highway[2], the road starts at Medicine Hat in the southeast, then extends 324 km through Taber, Lethbridge, Fort Macleod and on past Pincher Creek in the Rocky Mountain foothills. From there it cuts through the Crowsnest Pass and continues west into British Columbia[3].

Along the route, signs of Alberta’s tried-and-true industrial lifeblood are everywhere – farming and ranching, food processing, cargo terminals, and oil and gas production. Day and night, heavy trucks trundle back and forth. Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd.’s tracks parallel the highway across the region’s rolling hills and badlands.

But transformation is also evident. The sunny and gusty southwestern corner of the province has been a hub for clean energy since the 1990s, and development is accelerating, with 17 projects generating 1,032 MW. Wind turbines by the hundreds poke up alongside the highway.

Lately, solar projects have popped up at a brisk pace, too. Many, like Burdett, are east of Lethbridge, developed by a variety of large and small companies. Provincewide, solar generation, at 1,088 MW, is now at the level the Alberta Electricity System Operator (AESO)[4] had forecast last year would not be reached until 2033.

Just five years ago, wind power accounted for 9 per cent of Alberta generation capacity, and solar didn’t even register, according to AESO. Today, the two sources make up 22 per cent. Solar alone is now 6 per cent of the total, and about to take its next leap when Canada’s largest solar project, Greengate Power Corp.[5]’s $700-million Travers development, starts up.

There’s also a nascent renewable natural gas (RNG) industry along Highway 3, in which the fuel is generated from agricultural and municipal waste, and plans for increased storage and other technology to level off the variable power supplies from wind and solar.

The former NDP[6] government kick-started development in 2016 with auctions in which wind developers bid on projects – those offering the least expensive power to the grid won. The arrangements have netted the Alberta government $160-million, according to new research by the University of Calgary School of Public Policy[7], and primed the pump for today’s investment rush.

“The number one driver of renewables in Alberta is private investment,” says Nagwan Al-Guneid, director of Business Renewables Centre-Canada (BRC)[8], a non-profit that provides education and networking services for developers, investors and electricity buyers. “These are private corporations, public institutions, looking to procure renewables through power purchase agreements in Alberta. They have serious ESG [environmental, social and governance] commitments.”

When BRC was established as an initiative of the Pembina Institute[9] three years ago, it set a daunting target of reaching 2 gigawatts of renewable energy contracted by 2025. Alberta has already surpassed that, after $3.75-billion in spending on new generation. All that activity, the organisation says, has created 4,500 jobs. Five deals have been signed this year, adding 333 MW of solar and wind power. More is on tap.

Green power is proliferating in other parts of the province as well. But Highway 3, already long established, can move workers and materials to and from projects quickly as they are constructed.

Most importantly, there’s “the resource” – sunshine and wind. Southern Alberta has both in spades. Lethbridge[10], for instance, averages 330 sunny days per year, or over 90 per cent of daytime hours. The region, known for its balmy Chinook winds that race across the Rockies, is also one of the breeziest in Canada, second only to St. John’s[11], according to Environment Canada. Lethbridge gets more windy days than any other city in the country.

The development has jolted local economies, which suffered with the downturn in oil and gas that began in 2014. Medicine Hat[12], known historically as The Gas City, has embraced renewables. Across southeastern Alberta, hotels are booked, restaurants are busy and the real estate market is strong, says Jon Sookocheff, economic development consultant with the city government.

Besides construction jobs, the industry is providing related opportunities, such as maintenance, warehousing and distribution. Colleges in the region are training the next generation of renewable energy technicians. “I think it’s one of the bigger development stories in Alberta and in Canada, and it’s maybe a bit of a secret right now. But it certainly takes a lot of work to put these production facilities into play,” Mr. Sookocheff says.

“All of a sudden there’s a renewables boom” for communities along Highway 3”, says Blake Shaffer, an assistant professor of economics at the University of Calgary, and a former electricity trader. “And they opened the doors to it.”

Valor Rzeszutek timeline from birth to 2077+ cuz have put way too much thought and planning into his dumb ass. It's not 100% to everything, a lot of things are over simplified and had major effects on him, as well as other smaller events that did occur. But its something to kinda base him on of where he's been and where he's at now.

October 21st 1994 - Valor and Glory Rzeszutek were born to engineer Jeremiah and corpo Vivienne Rzeszutek in South Africa.

August 2005 - Vivienne received a new position with the HQ of her company, uprooting the family from SA to NUSA Las Vegas.

June 2006 - Jeremiah takes Valor with him on a small trip to NC, surprises him with tickets to see Samurai.

October 21st 2006 - Valor gets his first electric guitar for his 12th birthday.

November 19th 2010 - Vivienne dies of sudden health complications. Corporation covers her funeral costs and gives an additional 1 year salary to the family.

July 2012 - Valor joins Lazarus Group starting his mercenary/solo career.

September 2012 - Jeremiah leaves LV joining a group of Nomads heading East.

2013-15 - Valor served as gunner for Trauma Team LV; Glory was quickly rising through corprate ranks with Liive a doll company.

December 2017 - Corprate counter extractions, target found dead in a warehouse with a wreath around his head. First of many to be found this way.

2021-27 - Valor is assigned on military contract back to SA, orders suggested territory dispute and area fortification but actual politics of it was left out for troops. Mostly a show of muscle and patrolling different hot zones.

February 4th 2027 - Transport detail, halfway camp under fire. 14 dead another dozen injured, Valor and 3 others are taken prisoner.

February 6th 2027 - Valor wakes up strapped to an operating table, system diagnosis states a foreign piece of unregistered cyberware has been installed. Installation location is unknown as all ports are open, given the bandaging around his head and the pain at the base of his skull, assumed it was surgically implanted.

February 8th 2027 - Dumped in an unknown location, small town, in the middle of the night. Bloody, bruised, and weak manages to get himself up and starts to stumble down the empty street. Chip is activated, neural system goes offline, cyberpsychosis takes over sending Valor into a chaotic feral state.

February 9th-15th 2027 - Valor is held prisoner by local military company. Believing he works for the black market vendors he is tortured for days on end until information arrives that he is one of the MIA soldiers with Lazarus Group. Returned to a nearby base and sent back to NUSA for medical evaluation.

March 30th 2027 - Valor is released from medical care, honorably discharged from Lazarus for medical purposes. Do to the chip's nature it is unable to be removed, with no known tracers on the technology he is put on as risk for possible cyberpsychosis relapse. No evidence to prove that he will relapse he is free to leave the facility.

June 2027 - Valor meets a street drummer that goes by Rango. Former Nomad, part time roadie. He's a part time drummer and makes for good company, two start hanging out on the regular.

August 19th 2027 - Abduction in progress, high on painkillers Valor gives chase. First official run in with Arasaka Extractor, Umbra. Though the fight was short lived and Valor failed, Umbra, impressed with vitality and fight, severs Valor's ring finger. Taking it as an oath for the fight to continue on a better day for the solo.

December 7th 2027 - Valor is selected among a small group of Solos for a new prototype of cyberarms known as the MonoBlades by Kendachi. Do to his medical records he is unable to undergo the procedure for the new cybernetics though is assured his spot will be held until he's well enough.

April 2028 - Once again confronted with Umbra, though no fight happens, terms of the affair are made clear. Valor is being stalked by the other, for better or for worse. Next several months this obsession is made clear.

September 2028 - Convinced by his sister that he needs to get out more, get back to work, do something with his time. In a haze of foggy memories ends up joining an inferno and becoming a dom for hire. Pays good and keeps his nights filled can't complain.

December 19th 2028 - Clearance for the new cyberarms is granted, Valor is sent to one of Kendachi's orbital stations to receive the procedure and physical therapy for the new arms.

March 14th 2029 - Contacted by an old Netrunner friend asking to meet up. Meeting up at a Café off the old strip Sami introduces Valor to Kelvy Kai-Eurodyne, an independent media hunting down a Netrunner killer in NC. The name Umbra comes up in intercepted Arasaka documents, Valor tells them to drop it if they value any part of their lives before leaving the Café.

September 2029 - Working more on his music, got a group of friends together and produced their first demo by the end of the year going by the name Herken.

April 2030 - Local rock station for Central Vegas started playing their music, shortly there after Damion Kre Saint for No End Records signed the band, started work on their first official album.

August 2031 - Herken releases their first studio album, Remembering Nothing More to major success

October 15 2031 - First major tour for the band, switching from opening act to headliner at different gigs

May 2033 - Second album is released, touring there after

September 2036 - Third studio album is released, Cherish the Pain, album becomes a sensation in the rock scene

2038 - after several strings of murders, and NC naming a new serial killer, Sami contacts Valor thanking him for his warning nearly 10 years ago about Umbra.

February 2040 - Fourth album is released

August 2045 - Valor returns to work with Lazarus, back into solo work, mainly preforming counter extractions.

November 2046 - Attempted counter extraction comes too late, Valor calls in the body only to be confronted with Umbra as he attempts to exit the scene. Conversation was not recorded, both men left unharmed.

March 17 2049 - Glory Rzeszutek is murdered several blocks from her home, during an attempted robbery. Trauma is unable to revive her, information regarding her death is forwarded out to Valor there after.

March 23 2049 - Valor is switched from ops being put back on leave to manage his sister's affairs. He is the sole beneficiary to her estate, inheriting her wealth and stock with Liive, overnight making him a multi-billionaire and part of the Vegas elite.

April 2049 - dealing with the loss of his twin sister, Valor begins to go through a deep pit of depression. Having dealt with loss before, Solo career wasn't uncommon to lose friends, this however was different. Depression began to manifest into visual and audio hallucinations, making work nearly impossible to do

May 2049 - Jan 2050 - Valor is in and out of court and legal hearings in regards to his inheritance and the remainder of his sister's estate. Interviews running like its a celebratory thing gaining this wealth, truth being he just wants to get back to work. Ending result 75% of the wealth is locked in accounts and will not be released for another 20+ years.

February 2050 - Valor once again returns to work with Lazarus taking on smaller gigs for a time. Still dealing with his own mental state, he refuses to take on anymore large gigs.

July 2051 - Contract comes in for a security gig, easy job, 24/7 body detail for 1 year on tour. Contract is immediately pushed forward to Valor who accepts, only during briefing for the gig find out its for Kerry Eurodyne.

July 2052 - contract concluded with the tour a benefits relationship starts between Kerry and Valor. Valor opting to stay in NC for a few months extra on a "private" contract with the Rockerboy.

September 2054 - Kerry once again hires Valor as security for a shorter tour, media events for new album put on by his label.

2057 - Rumors start to surface that Umbra has been decommissioned amongst a small group of extractors, Sami brings up that Arasaka is keeping it quiet because he was the NC Gallery Killer and that is not a PR mess any company wants to deal with. All traces of him have been scrubbed from their databanks.

2058 - Valor receives a token from the Nomad group The Veils, and invitation to join them. Having heard rumors of the group, he's hesitant to act, even more so to inform anyone.

June 2059 - Valor retires from Lazarus and takes up the offering on The Veils token, following it out into the desert.

2060 - He is officially accepted into the clan, given a title by Azera and branded as part of them with his unique code. Beginning of a new life.

2067 - Valor begins spending more time at the Edges of Silence, a bleak stretch of dead desert where nothing grows. The clan believes the desert out there will either consume or the spirits will direct. Something keeps calling him back whenever he is close.

August 2074 - The choice is made to continue heading out West, follow the signs and see if he can make sense of the visions and voices. Gifted passage and return by Azera it is not a final goodbye from the clan.

2075 - Settled into NC, doesn't take long for his reputation to catch up with him, starts taking on independent Solo gigs. Quickly climbing up the chain and becoming a regular at the Afterlife, a gifted work horse for Rogue, but one she knows will get any job done.

2077 - Happens, that was a thing... yeah.

January 2078 - Valor and Kerry make the trip back out to The Veils, after a trial devoted to loyalty, Azera decides to spare them both, attempting to save Valor from the effects of the Relic.

May 2078 - Finally wakes back up, and on the recovery as his vitals have evened out and a sense of normalcy is restored. Though some side effects of the Relic cannot be reverted in his current body, he has his life with no threat of a imminent collapse.

So, I went through the effort of laying most of the important shit out in a clear way.

- Born in Alberta, October 23rd 2007. - Moved to coastal British Columbia in October of 2014 (7 years old) - Abused by Luis in 2021 (14 years old) - Met Frank in 2022 (15 years old) - Kicked out of her home on October 19th, 2024 (17 years old) - Grandmother died on November 7th, 2025 (18 years old) - Graduated from university on September 8th, 2026 (19 years old) - Got a job in animation as a head writer in 2026 (20 years old) - Got married on August 25th, 2028 (21 years old) - Father died on October 25th, 2028 (22 years old) - Worked in animation industry from 2026 - 2031 (24 years old) - Frank died On January 17th, 2031 in a car accident (24 years old) - Got Bear as a 1 year old puppy in 2032 (25 years old) - Lived with Bianca in intensive care for two years until her prosthetic was completed in 2033 (26 years old) - Met Howard in 2033 and began seeing him as his submissive (26 years old) - Trained in the police academy and became an officer in 2034 (27 years old) - Ended her relationship with Howard in 2035 (28 years old) - Graduated to detective and transferred to a different precinct in 2036 (29 years old) - Dated Derek in 2037 and ended the relationship the same year (30 years old) - 2038 when the events of the game begin (31 years old)

Granted, because her birthday is so late in the year, some stuff is kinda fucky, still, but this is more or less what the timeline looks like for all the important shit.

april 2045 (age 42) - maureen is officially RECRUITED as one of four engineers to make the ship, called the resolute, a reality. maureen, ann papajohn, neil westlake, and gregory clarke were the head engineers, the only four people with access to the resolute’s security system. the resolute was built in orbit.

september 2046 (age 44) - the first colonist group leaves for alpha centauri.

october 2046 (age 44) - john RE-ENLISTS without telling maureen, but she finds out anyway, leading to a RIFT in their marriage.

january 2047 (age 44) - maureen asks the kids their thoughts on going to alpha centauri.

july 2047 (age 44) - all of the robinsons are (supposedly) APPROVED for the 24th colonist group

There are nine kids here, we are going in birth order, not family factions:

Jason Harry Potter:

Born June 16, 2023

Thought to be the oldest Potter grandchild until Collin came into the family

He is a spoiled little bean, by both of his grandparents and all of his aunts and uncles, this kid didn’t touch the floor for about his first eight months

Al is his godfather!

He is a proud Gryffindor like his parents and grandparents

He has a really uneasy relationship with both of his parents (James and Katie) after the divorce and also with Marci

There is a lot of anger towards all three of the main adults in his life, mostly as he thinks his parents moved on too quickly

James does get fed up with him while Marci is pregnant with Lilliana and just kicks him out

He goes to Harry and Ginny’s

He’s closer to his Grandpa Harry and Nana Ginny then anyone else

He does eventually come around to Marci, she kills him with kindness and he actually likes being an oldest brother to all the kids

He gets really close to Josey because they only have a three year age difference and he knows how scary it can be at Hogwarts that first year

Jason grows out of his brattiness towards James when he’s about 16/17, but it’s mostly thanks to his younger siblings

Josey Caroline Abraham:

Born December 10, 2026

Her parents got divorced when she was nine, and then Marci moved them to England

She is the oldest of her siblings, so she tries to be strong for her little sister and brother, but she just feels so alienated in England

She is very apprehensive of James, but he doesn’t try to be her dad or anything more than a friend right away

She’s still close to her dad after the move, but then he never shows up the summer before she starts Hogwarts

James takes her out to ice cream when it becomes obvious that her dad isn’t going to show and they go ring shopping for Marci after

She’s a Slytherin, and gets really close to Al, but it’s Jason who really takes her in, and Collin

When she’s fifteen, she asks James to formally adopt her, as he had already adopted her siblings and she was ready for him to be her dad

It took her a long time to realize that he was more of a dad to her than her father

Kerrie LeeAnne Potter:

Born March 21, 2029

She was six when the divorce happened compare to Jason’s twelve

She has a hard time remembering what it was like before the divorce and before Marci

She isn’t close to Katie, but she’s the same age as Hallie so Marci groups them together a lot

This isn’t an issue for either of them, until school

Because Kerrie is eleven before September first and Hallie isn’t

She does have her cousin Michael Harry (Lily’s oldest) and Jason is 17 and Josey is 14

But it doesn’t feel right until Hallie starts school the next year

She is a Gryffindor

Marci adopts her after she marries James, along with Hazel

Hallie Sarah Abraham:

Born October 29, 2029

She had just turned seven when her parents divorced and they moved

She chooses not to remember her father and is more than happy to accept James into her life

He takes her out flying because her own father refuses to

It becomes their thing, and James takes her out every Monday evening

James adopts her after he marries Marci along with Mike Anthony

She is sorted into Ravenclaw when she goes to Hogwarts, and she finds a home in blue and bronze

She gets on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team her second year and James couldn’t be more proud of her

She becomes one of the best Seekers since Harry played

Micheal Anthony Abraham:

Born April 3, 2032

He was four when his parents divorced

He refuses to get in contact with his dad when he reaches out, he claims that James is the only dad he’s ever known

He loves being an older brother, and he looks up to Jason so much

Even though they have a nine year age difference, Jason becomes really fond of Mike Anthony and names him godfather of his first kid

Mike Anthony is only thirteen but he takes it very seriously

He is sorted into Ravenclaw when he gets to Hogwarts

He writes home twice a month and once a week to Jason and his godson

He always tries to make his letters interesting and it gets him interested in storytelling

By the time he graduates from Hogwarts, he has a job at the Prophet and a novel that he’s trying to get published

He writes auror novels using the stories that Al and Harry and Ron and Scorpius would tell him when he was younger

James and Marci are so proud of him

Hazel Kathryn Potter:

Born September 12, 2033

She is two when her parents divorce and Marci is who she knows as her mum

She called Marci ‘mum’ or ‘mama’ straight from the get go, even before they officially started dating

She doesn’t remember being the youngest, so she has always been an older sister

She loves her siblings, ALL of them

She’s sorted into Hufflepuff when she goes to Hogwarts

When she is older Katie does try to come back into her life

She has always known that Marci wasn’t her mother, but Katie isn’t her mum

James makes sure that Katie knows there is no going back on this, and Hazel overhears the whole argument

She is always a little strained around Katie, but it works for the best

Hazel knows where Jason and Kerrie stand on Katie, but it doesn’t change her relationship with Katie

Marci is the one to push Hazel to open up a little to Katie, and promises that she will always be there for her

It’s the reassurance Hazel needs to let Katie know who she is as a person

Lilliana Ginevra Potter:

Born November 11, 2036

James and Marci get married about a month before her second birthday

Just like her oldest brother, she’s a little bean

She is the one that brings the whole family together, she gets Jason to stop fighting with James

Jason is the first person after James and Marci to hold her, the first sibling to do so

She’s loud and keeps the whole house awake the first three months she’s born

She’s really funny and always trying to make people laugh, which works well as she has no idea why all of her older siblings are so cranky all the time

She’s a Hufflepuff, following after her favorite older sister Hazel

When Katie tries to build a relationship with Hazel, Lilliana is so confused

She thought that Hazel was her biological sister and not her half-sister

It doesn’t change their relationship, but it does make the younger three question their siblings lives before they were born and their parents

James and Marci make it clear that nothing is different just because they’re not fully related to their older siblings

But Lilliana gets really interested in how families come together and decides to become a social worker

She ends up working with her Grandpa Harry and her Great Aunt Hermione is putting children in homes and keeping them protected

She ends up changing how fostering/adoption works in the Wizarding World

Erinn Roxanne Potter:

Born February 8, 2038

She was born about five months after James and Marci got married

Out of all the kids, she is the one with the middle child syndrome

She feels constantly over looked, except when Marci brings her to work

She loves visiting the Prophet offices, the noise, the news, and the knowledge she gains makes it all worth it

She looks just like James but is Marci’s little girl

She’s sorted in Ravenclaw when she goes to school

Mike Anthony is a seventh year and wants nothing to do with his baby sister, but she doesn’t care

She joins the school newspaper and takes it by storm

When she leaves Hogwarts, she goes to Witch Weekly and becomes one of their best gossip columnists

She had an in to every Quidditch League party through her sister (Hallie) and her dad, also she can get into any Potter/Weasley event as she’s family

But ever story she writes is completely true, her family is just crazy

Camren James Potter:

Born January 16, 2040

The absolute baby of the Potter family

He is used to being teased by the family and is good at giving it back

He spends a lot of time with his grandparents and is used to being passed off

He loves stilling and watching the Wasps practice, he is a great junior coach to James

He is a Gryffindor when he goes to school, just like James

He is a bit of a trouble maker, and even Al has trouble giving him detention

He’s just too good with the puppy dog eyes

He’s a great chaser, but falls in love with keeping, and eventually becomes captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team

He gets signed on to the Arrows after graduating from Hogwarts, the team Hallie started out in before going to the international team

He and Hallie play together in her last game on the international team and bring the Quidditch World Cup back to England

I just want to say that James and Marci are so proud of all their children and the choices they made in their lives. They didn’t always get along or made sense to each other, but they all love on another!

Who’s Late, and For What?

With a New Predictor, it seems like a good time for a full update on who is late, what for, when it was initially expected, and when it’s expected now... Without further ago, here’s the list, as of March 27, 2020—

Duggars—

Jana Duggar for Courtship. Initially expected December 26, 2010. Now expected May 30, 2021 (+4 SDs). If Jana remains single in January 2024, Predictor 2020 will assume that she’ll never court.

Jill (Duggar) + Derick Dillard for Pregnancy #3. Initially expected March 9, 2019. Now expected June 10, 2020 (+3 SDs). The Predictor will deem their quiver complete if they fail to announce by March 2024.

Note—The Vuolos are no longer late to announce Pregnancy #2. The Predictor doesn’t expect them to announce until November 24, 2020. (An explanation of why can be found in this recent Post.)

Mars Launch Windows (2000 - 2100)

Earth and Mars orbit the Sun at different speeds, so they only line up once every 26 months or so, a phenomenon called Opposition. Opposition doesn’t occur at the same place in their orbits each time, instead shifting forward at every cycle. Probes being sent from Earth to Mars can only launch in a short window that opens a few months before Opposition. Because the orbits of Earth and Mars are eccentric (meaning they are not perfect circles), at some points the Opposition between them is closer, and some points it is farther.

There is a 15 to 17 year cycle dictating the closest and farthest Oppositions, which I have noted below (when I say “closest” and “farthest,” I mean they are at a relative local minimum and local maximum respectively; every launch window opens in the months leading up to the absolute minimum distance between the two planets, the distance just varies on a cycle. The planets are truly farthest apart roughly one year before Opposition, and this point also fluctuates closer and farther on the same cycle)
