do you think Dean has survivor's guilt? I'm thinking mostly of 01×12, but I'm also wondering if there's a running theme there that I don't remember
Yes, I do. In fact, I think Dean blaming himself for the outcome of traumatic experiences he couldn't have changed or that aren't his fault is something that happens very frequently, because Dean has a very overactive sense of responsibility—primarily resulting from his parentification (and the people in his life don't always help—sometimes they do, but they also sometimes feed into it).
1.12 "Faith" sets the stage for the entire theme. Dean struggles to deal with Layla not being healed when he is, and how horrible it is that a man died in exchange for his life. At the end of the episode, Dean stops running from the reaper, planning to let it kill him so Layla can be healed, but it doesn't happen because Sam disrupts the ritual before Sue Ann can complete it. (Kya has a great gifset here). What tends to co-occur with Dean struggling with survivor's guilt is the idea that Dean has a job—a responsibility, even—to the rest of the world. This is both why he must survive, and also something that weighs him down with even more guilt in a vicious cycle.
DEAN Why? Why me? Out of all the sick people, why save me? ROY Well, like I said before, the Lord guides me. I looked into your heart, and you just stood out from all the rest. DEAN What did you see in my heart? ROY A young man with an important purpose. A job to do. And it isn't finished.
I've written about Dean's survivor's guilt in the context of season 2—how 1.12 and John's sacrifice in 2.01 are primary motivations for Dean making the demon deal in 2.22. We get dialogue from Dean in 2.04 actually apologizing to Sam for John's death, because he blames himself even though it wasn't his fault and none of this was his choice.
He also blames himself for Sam's death in 2.22, even though that also isn't his fault. The parentification aspect of all of this is screaming loud in the following dialogue from Dean in 2.22:
You know, when we were little— and you couldn't been more than 5— you just started asking questions. How come we didn't have a mom? Why do we always have to move around? Where'd Dad go when he'd take off for days at a time? I remember I begged you, "Quit asking, Sammy. Man, you don't want to know." I just wanted you to be a kid... Just for a little while longer. I always tried to protect you... Keep you safe... Dad didn't even have to tell me. It was just always my responsibility, you know? It's like I had one job... I had one job... And I screwed it up. I blew it. And for that, I'm sorry. I guess that's what I do. I let down the people I love. I let Dad down. And now I guess I'm just supposed to let you down, too. How can I? How am I supposed to live with that?
Dean even as a child felt responsible for Sam, and even for John. We see John blame Dean for his own failures as a father in episodes like 1.18 "Something Wicked" and 1.21 "Salvation", and we see the impact of that tendency reflected in how Sam sometimes treats Dean as well. Hell—we have indication that even before Mary died, Dean was "cleaning up [John's] messes" according to Sam (5.16). We see John apologize for Dean having to take care of him in 2.01 instead of the other way around—an acknowledgement that he knows this has been a source of harm to Dean for a long time... but it's too little too late—and ultimately is ruined by John's next actions, leaving Dean seething with resentment toward John for seasons to come even as he grieves and blames himself for John's death.
Dean's guilt for things that aren't his fault is further explored in episodes like 1.18 "Something Wicked", 5.11 "Sam, Interrupted" and 7.04 "Defending Your Life", where Dean is confronted by his guilt over Jo's death, and feeling responsible for Sam being a hunter, which is absolute horse shit despite the fandom also trying to insist this is the case frequently (see my tags #sam the hunter for a start). He blames himself for Kevin even getting involved with hunting to begin with. Dean blames himself for the havoc Michael is wreaking (14.03, 14.06, 14.14). Dean also blames himself and feels horrible guilt for torturing souls in hell, despite the fact that this happened under extreme duress and literal decades of torture and psychological conditioning—i.e., Dean had no actual choice—he's just presented with the horror of being made to feel that it was his choice when it was deeply and torturously coerced. The very worst part of Hell for him was that he tortured other souls, and I don't think he ever recovers from the guilt of that. He clams up about it after being called weak and pathetic for being guilty about it and then he never speaks about it ever again.
Dean certainly isn't the only one with these issues. Sam, Dean, and Bobby's survivors guilt is all explored simultaneously in 4.02 "Are You There God? It's Me, Dean Winchester" when people they couldn't save like Meg Masters and Victor are brought back by a curse.
DEAN It's my fault you're dead. I left you [Victor] behind. And the minute I heard about that explosion, I thought, "I should have known." I should have protected you.
This whole episode implicates hunters as a whole with serious survivor's guilt for the people they can't/don't manage to save. Multiple hunters die in the beginning of the episode, killed by the people they're haunted by not saving. This is a natural and understandable result of the work itself. You just barely don't get to someone in time, or you make a choice with an outcome you didn't forsee at the time, or you weren't fast enough or strong enough, or you dodged left when you should have dodged right, or you should have stayed, or you "let" the monster get away and it killed again. You are in a line of work where you are probably always left thinking, "If only I had done [insert hindsight judgement here]". Bobby blames himself for the deaths of two kids in 4.02. He blames himself for his wife Karen's death (3.10). Sam blames himself for Ava (2.11) and they all accept blame for the Devil's Gate even though that wasn't their fault either (and other hunters throw the blame on all of them too) (3.01).
The thing about being a parentified child is that you are, by definition, held responsible for things you are not equipped or qualified to handle—things that are too much for you, that are not actually your responsibility, and that are/were entirely out of your control. Combine growing up being blamed for things you did not actually have the power or authority to make happen or prevent from happening, with the overall tendency within the line of work hunters are in to feel survivor's guilt, and you get Dean. Add in that Dean cares deeply for other people—even strangers—and therefore feels an extra empathy when people are harmed for these things he thinks he could have prevented. You get someone whose moments of suicidal ideation are usually deeply connected to survivor's guilt or guilt more generally.

The great fabric vs forge ramble
Tumblr media Tumblr media
two people want to hear my ramblings im going to ramble now.
Essentially, my main thoughts about forge and fabric is that they’re two modloaders for entirely different audiences of minecraft playstyle. I’m speaking from the perspective of someone who’s been playing minecraft since the indev versions, and thus a lot... a lot of hours playing modded minecraft.
Putting this under a readmore because it became really long lmao
From my experience with making modpacks for my friends and digging through pages upon pages of fabric mods, Fabric is GREAT for general-audiences type packs. There is rarely anything very complex in there. Almost every fabric mod is easy to understand and get into. There’s very little truly gameplay changing mods, save for some outliers that have recently sprung up/been ported from forge. If I have to mention the biggest gameplay changing mods for fabric, that was native to fabric, i’d have to say tech reborn, bewitchment, and origins are the ones that immediately come to mind.
This makes fabric, as I mentioned, great for general audiences type gameplay. Vanilla+. Friendly for your-average-streamer server and for anyone that wants to play modded with their friends that aren’t as familiar with the game. It’s the people pleaser modloader, because nearly all mods will have people generally go “yeah I like that.” You won’t have people fighting over a selection in your modpack you made for your little server. And that isn’t bad! It’s very good that we have a much more accessible modloader and library of mods.
But by god is it boring and disappointing sometimes to go through curseforge’s fabric category and see vanilla+ upon vanilla+ mod. “More decorative blocks”, “more furniture”, “more mobs”, “QOL tweaks”, “dimension mod that is essentially an excuse to add new blocks and mobs and nothing else”, “biome overhaul/biome mod”.
Want to find a magic mod? Tough shit. You get incredibly, incredibly basic magic mods. Or, you get things entirely unbalanced for multiplayer. Or its literally just “here’s another new oretype past netherite thats OP as hell and doesn’t’ actually change gameplay.”. It’s like people don’t know how to make mods that aren’t just decorative or making the player overpowered.
And then you look at Forge, and you see the wild shit that they have going on there. And I know that a part of it is that forge has been around for much longer and thus has a lot more experienced devs on it that can do crazy shit, but there’s still that part of me that’s just sad.
From thaumcraft to electroblob’s wizardry, we just don’t see this in fabric.  Except for this guy trying to bring thaumcraft over to fabric as practice big props to this guy me and my friends are quietly cheering him on.
Moving on- Forge is the modloader for people who want complexity in their gameplay. Who want a different gameplay experience from vanilla.
Forge is for experienced players, and focused groups. Forge is generally, not great for easy youtube or stream content, nor is it good for pleasing a general audience. It’s not great for servers that have varying skill levels of play, because by adding complex content (and often difficulty enhancing) mods you alienate the players that aren’t as good at the game. This doesn’t make forge worse, however, but it makes it visibly different when you’re looking to mod your game.
Now, to talk about the elephant in the room, forge is perpetually stuck at 1.12 for the most part. There’s some movement and there’s some newer ones at 1.18 and 1.19, but a majority of known forge mods are for 1.12 and below. This further adds to the feeling that forge is for experienced players that seek gameplay different from vanilla, because those kinds of players would mind the older versions a lot less compared to someone who is less experienced and thus wouldn’t be so inclined to seek gameplay that differs from vanilla- because they haven’t experienced vanilla as much!
When you look at the repertoire of forge modpacks and forge mods, so many of them are big, gameplay changing mods, and nearly all forge modpacks make sure to include them too, meaning that you are stuck at older versions.
Now, back in the day I didn’t mind this very much as I primarily played singleplayer. But now that I mainly play multiplayer with my friends, this is painfully noticeable. My friends dont’ want to play older versions! And that’s perfectly understandable. But that means we’re forced to stick to fabric, because ultimately fabric has the most mods for latest and updates the fastest, and they prefer being on latest! And honestly I don’t want to play on older  versions all the time too because certain recent updates sure were good!! And there’s no way to play on latest *and* have those gameplay changing mods that would make my gameplay more interesting *while* having the latest update on.
And I think that’s really just the main point of that whole debate. Forge players would love to update, but they can’t because of how slow it all is. And that’s not the fault of the forge modders or the modloader, because development teams all work differently. And telling them to move to fabric isn’t going to cut it, because fabric lacks the things they want, and being told to move to fabric and abandon the things you like and care about because “fabric is better” when it does not fulfil the things you want in a modded game is annoying, and shows a lack of understanding of why they even play those older versions and mods in the first place.
The weird war between forge and fabric is not because one is inherently better than the other, its because people don’t understand that one does not appeal to the other because it’s lacking what the former had.
And SURE. Fabric has a great repertoire of mods, but as I mentioned before- A majority of it is vanilla+. And if you’re a years-long forge player with the wildest and most complex modpacks, vanilla+ wont make you happy no matter how many of those mods are there.
That’s essentially the end of my ramblings. Hope it was comprehensible at any point lmao.

I've been thinking about modern minecraft updates, and y'know what I think would be a good way to sum up post-1.18 updates? Passion Projects. I think we're in the Passion Project Era ??? maybe ??? a good name ??
1.13-1.18 were about improving and expanding upon lacking parts of the game, in a sort of combination of fixing issues and also adding nicer things that in a way would fix issues but now? well, I'm gonna preface this by saying i dont think its inherently bad, and i think minecraft has needed to take a break from themed updates, to take time and go "fuck it we ball" with random shit, and QoL and such. things that arent very appealing. but of course they... will still do big stuff that they can market. it seems like there is little content at times because well... a lot of the big stuff going on is only in whispers, and only noticed by devs and datapackers. but to an outsider, of course they have Content to Show people. thats where i say the passion projects come into play like, tell me you dont get a very specific feel with like, the deep dark or trial chambers... that mojang is trying to like, create gameplay experiences WITHIN the engine of minecraft, rather than inherently updating and changing the game with like... removals and rebalancing and such. which okay yes thats a larger topic, about how in the modern era they tend to shy away from those in general but like stuff like the deep dark and trial chambers feel so intricately designed,a nd it feels like the entire update is designed around them... which honestly can end up feeling kind of weird. like WOW the quality of this content is astonishing, but gee ya sure are just giving every bit of Content Development Resources to help aid in putting together this single thing 1.20 was def a break from that, but it was still certain little passion projecty systems, like archaeology and armor trims. 1.20 is an outlier though, TBH. it was a really good update because it didnt try to market Wow Cool content, not even a little bit really. it just said yo we got cherry trees and that was that

Hope I'm not asking too many, but 🦙, 🌻, 🕰️?
Thanks for the ask :D
🦙 (llama) give us a list of your favourite Minecraft mobs! Why are these ones specifically Your Little Guys? Ironically, love the Llamas but thats probably because I love llamas irl as well. Love how we can put little carpets on them and dress them up and make them into the most fancy of lads! Wish we could dress other mobs like that. Axolotls, again same reason I love them irl as well and I have a small collection of build-a-bear lotties! Warden, big, strong, husband material. He's soooooo mysterious and can kill me by screaming Very Loud which 10/10 would die again. I will forever mourn the loss of the glare. I miss him every day. OH and I actually like the Wandering Trader. He's my buddy, he's my pal, I made him my husband in one world, worst trades on the Overworld.
🌻(sunflower) what are your favourite biomes? Furthermore which biome feels most like home to you (might not even be your fave!). If you could add new biomes to the game what would they be?
OOOOOh. Okay so-
Flower Forests - Theres flowers, there's forest, there's cute bunnies, and it's super super pretty
Meadow - once again, flowers everywhere but meadows just have this detatched feeling seperate from all other biomes thats just so isolating and makes you really think about how vast everything is
Warped Forest - blue/turquoise mushroom trees go brrrrrr
Lush Caves - there's literally magic in these caves I swear to god
Giant Tree Taiga - a new entry but I've really been appreciating spruce lately
Biomes that most feel like home to me are dark oak forests (first ever minecraft world, my little cobblestone shack was in a tiny pond in the middle of the forest) and swamps (mine and my brother's bases are set in a swamp and the amount of time I've spent there is A Lot).
Biomes I would add-
Ice Caves- just c'mon Ice Caves would fuck hard. We have dripstone all you'd need to do is make it look like ice and slap some ice in a cave and be like boom ice cave
Lush Forest - azalea forests that spawn with moss and clay like a surface lush cave almost
Rose/Peony/Lilac Plains - sunflower plains exist why not these?
Mega Deep Ocean - give us fucked up sea life!!! I want the horrors!!!
Crystal Caves - give us some different geodes!!! give me shiny rocks I wish to Eat Them.
🕰 (clock) what version of Minecraft do you remember playing first? What has been your favourite update? If you could make an update what would it be?
I first played uhhhh 1.13 I think it was? Update Aquatic since bedrock was my first chance to own the game on my own console/device since I had to share the old pc we had with my brother. But I remember me and my brother having game night when I'd sit at the desk waaaay back with Alpha when he used to play.
My favourite update is defo Nether Update. A common answer and pretty basic but I am gentle hold the Piglins and the amount of blocks added was astounding! 1.18 is a close second but I miss the old generation a lot more than I enjoy the new sometimes. I fuckin love the caves though!
As for an update hmmm... I'd either love to do an End Update or a Second Update That Changes the World which would update old biomes and add some new interesting ones... like more cave biomes... please Mojang... more cave biomes. I like the three we have but please........... m o r e. Imagine: ice caves, fungal caves, crystal caves, volcanic caves, better mineshafts, proper ocean caves...... imagine the possibilities!!!

To quickly note, I received this for free from Wishtrend for my honest review.
Tumblr media
The eye gel contains 35 ml (1.18 oz) and comes in a sturdy plastic bottle. It's fragrance-free.
Tumblr media
It also comes with a pump which makes it much easier to manage the amount you use.
Tumblr media
The gel is clear and slightly watery and not very dense. It's pretty lightweight.
Tumblr media
The gel is very hydrating and cooling, definitely wonderful for the undereye area.
Tumblr media
It soaks in very quickly and it's not tacky at all. It also does leave the area hydrated and doesn't leave that dry feeling.
Recommended use is after cleansing and toning, gently dab around the upper and lower eye area with fingertips, morning and night. It can also be used to refresh and rehydrate eyes throughout the day. Finish off with moisturizer. The gel is cruelty-free, pH balanced, and free of artificial coloring, fragrances, and ethanol. It’s also vegan-friendly. This eye gel is also free of irritants and is extremely refreshing and hydrating. It smooths over and absorbs into the skin in a really nice way and definitely makes you look more awake and does seem to brighten the undereye area, though it's quite subtle. It also doesn't leave the undereye sticky or dry feeling and it feels like it plumps the area up a little bit. I actually have sensitive under eyes and can't use certain things (like masks) on that area at all, but this didn't cause any irritation and I felt like it really nourished the area. It's designed for all skin types, and I really think that includes sensitive skin types since it didn't give me any issues.
What I like: this eye gel does a great job at what it's designed for, helping to wake up and nourish the eye area. It does brighten, hydrate and plump the area and has very great ingredients for anti-aging and refreshing the undereye area. It's also fragrance-free and very suitable for any skin type including sensitive under eyes. What I don't like: I don't dislike anything personally, but I do think the pump releases a little more product than needed but that's just a slight negative.
Pros:
Hydrating
Brightening
Refreshing
Nourishing
Plumping
Sensitive skin friendly
Fragrance-free
Great ingredients
Cons:
The pump does dispense a little too much
Would I buy this?
Yes
Rating: 9.5/10

Perhaps The Weirdness Returns
I took this week off work. This was the most continuous time off I've had since July, so it was very enjoyable to take an opportunity to take a break.
Again, my financial dependence on my employer makes me very sad.
Books
This week, there were no books. I'm thinking I should acquire some new reading material The majority of the books I've got left are RPG rulebooks and non-fiction and I read those when the mood strikes.
Gaming
Ars Magica
This week, I ran the first session of my new Ars Magica campaign. The participants were asked take part in the search for missing children from the village. They hadn't seen them in hours. soundz promising It was the evening of the vernal hours and a night of folklore and magic. The children had fallen in love with the charm of a kelpie who was determined to tell their story of drowning innocent victims.
There was not much to do. The players had to (1) find fairyland's entrance, (2) walk straight through a fairy forest that would try to confuse them sense of direction, (3) drive away the kelpie. It was a breeze to complete, and there wasn't any choice for the players. I thought of a simple plot in order to be able to ease into the system, and this proved to be a good idea because even with this we had to consult the rules for creating spells numerous times (which I had hoped for). I was astonished to discover that they initially were awed by the massive horse-like faerie creature and decided to take on it physically. However, after one of them almost dying (doing the Ars Magica equivalent of making death saves), and another realising there was a magical solution, I hope they'll have the confidence to try magic first the next time around.
While I wasn't sure how it would take I did have another trip planned (visiting and making an impression on the abbot at a nearby monastery) that I had planned, but didn't have time for.
Inscryption
This week, I tried Inscryption. It's a weird deck-building/escape room game that gives you the feeling of being in a cave with a mad game master who is inventing rules as the game goes.
At least, the first part is. There's a third part that is quite different from the little of it I've played so far I'm not certain if I'm going to give it much of the chance, considering it was the strange atmosphere which really attracted me to the game initially. Maybe the weirdness comes back. I'm not sure I want to put in the time to discover the truth.
We've set a release date for Minecraft 1.18 30th!
I'm not a big Minecraft player these days, I'm prone to becoming bored once I have a self-sufficient base running (which takes no time at all), as building big things doesn't interest me that much. I'm not the game's target market.
It's something I love doing every now and again, and playing with friends on servers. 1.18 brings about fundamental changes to the generation that is currently in the world, which I'm eager to test out.
Miscellaneous
This week I watched a bit of television I watched The Mandalorian and Foundation. Both were fantastic, lots of very cool visuals (like this FTL jump from episode 1 of Foundation00In fact I think this is the single coolest rendition of FTL jumps I've come across. I would have been tempted to redesign the deckplans of the ship if this series had been available prior to the time I started my Traveller game.
). I am looking forward to reading more.
If I had to critique the Foundation storyline, it would be that I find the Empire storyline from Foundation more compelling than the Foundation storyline. This is a reflection of the stories I like. The Empire storyline is about massive galaxy-shaking events, and the fall of an era. It's more about the events than people. The Foundation storyline is more about the people, while the events themselves are smaller in size. However, I do prefer large-scale events!

The Best Time of The Year To Buy a Home In Middle Tennessee
Tumblr media
Are you in the market for a new home? If so, Middle Tennessee is a great place to look. With its moderate climate, diverse landscape, and thriving economy, there are plenty of reasons to consider making the move. Here are some of the highlights that make this area so appealing.
The climate in Middle Tennessee is perfect for those who don't like extreme temperatures. The summers are warm but not too hot, and the winters are mild with very little snow. This makes it a great place to live year-round.
The best time of the year to buy a home in Middle Tennessee is during the winter months. The market is slower during this time and you are likely to get a good deal on a home. Inventory is also higher during the winter, so you have more options to choose from. Additionally, interest rates are typically lower during the winter, so you can save money on your mortgage. If you are considering buying a home in Middle Tennessee, the winter months are a great time to do so.
What you need to know about property taxes when buying a home in Middle Tennessee
When you are buying a home, it is important to be aware of the property taxes that will be owed on the home. Property taxes are usually assessed by the local government and are based on the value of the home.
The amount of property tax you will owe will vary depending on the location of the home, the value of the home, and the tax rate that is assessed by the local government. It is important to be aware of the property taxes that will be owed on the home before you purchase it so that you can budget for the additional expense.
In some cases, you may be able to appeal your property tax assessment if you feel that the value of your home has been inaccurately assessed. If you are successful in appealing your assessment, you may be able to lower the amount of property tax you owe.
When you are buying a home in Middle Tennessee, it is important to understand the property taxes that will be due on the home. The tax rate in Middle Tennessee varies depending on the county in which you purchase a home.
The average tax rate in Middle Tennessee is 1.18%, but the rate can range from 0.68% to 2.29%. In Davidson County, the tax rate is 1.17%. In Williamson County, the tax rate is 1.03%. In Rutherford County, the tax rate is 1.24%.
If you have any questions about the property taxes that will be owed on a home you are interested in purchasing, be sure to ask your real estate agent about the property taxes that will be due on the home. They can help you budget for these expenses and make sure that you are aware of all the costs associated with owning a home in Middle Tennessee. They should be able to provide you with the information you need to make an informed decision about the home.
Tumblr media
Which neighborhoods in Middle Tennessee are the most desirable for families?
When it comes time to buy a home, one of the most important decisions you’ll make is which neighborhood to choose. This decision can have a big impact on your quality of life, so it’s important to take your time and do your research.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when choosing a neighborhood:
1. Location is key. Consider your commute, the schools in the area, and the proximity of amenities like grocery stores and parks.
2. Look for a neighborhood that fits your lifestyle. If you have young children, you may want to choose a family-friendly community with good schools. If you’re single, you may prefer a neighborhood with a lively nightlife.
3. Consider your budget. Home prices can vary greatly from one neighborhood to the next, so it’s important to choose a place that you can afford.
4. Take a look around. Once you’ve narrowed down your options, take some time to explore the neighborhoods in person. This will help you get a feel for the area and decide if it’s right for you.
There are many neighborhoods in Middle Tennessee that are desirable for families. Some of the most popular neighborhoods include Green Hills, Brentwood, and Belle Meade in Nashville, and Franklin, Spring Hill, and Thompson's Station in Williamson County.
One of the main reasons these neighborhoods are so popular is because they offer a great mix of amenities. Families can find homes of all sizes, good schools, and plenty of things to do nearby. Another reason these neighborhoods are so popular is because they're relatively affordable. Middle Tennessee is a very affordable place to live, and these neighborhoods offer a great value for the money
Choosing the right neighborhood is an important decision, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. If you are not sure which one to choose, consult with a realtor in Middle Tennessee for you to be familiarized with things around the area. By keeping these things in mind, you can find a place that you’ll love calling home. If you're looking for a great place to raise a family, Middle Tennessee is a great option. These neighborhoods offer everything you need to have a happy and successful family life.
Finding a Real Estate Agency
When it comes to finding a real estate agency in middle Tennessee, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First, it’s important to decide what type of agency you want to work with. There are traditional brick-and-mortar agencies, online-only agencies, and hybrid agencies that offer both online and in-person services. Real estate agencies have real estate agents depending on your needs.
Next, you’ll want to consider what kind of services you need from your real estate agency. Do you need help finding a home to buy? Do you need assistance selling your home? Or do you need both buying and selling services? Once you know what kind of services you need, you can start narrowing down your list of potential agencies.
Finally, it’s important to read reviews and talk to people you trust before selecting a real estate agency. Ask your friends, family, and co-workers for recommendations. Once you have a few agencies in mind, read online reviews and check out the Better Business Bureau website to see if there are any complaints against the agency.
Keep these tips in mind, and you’ll be well on your way to finding the best real estate agency in middle Tennessee for your needs.

8 Alternate options To Minecraft Titan
As a TLauncher consumer, you could also be somewhat upset with this truth. Mochi, our little guy, is simply an extreme chewer. Through the Minecraft Reside 2021 show, Mojang introduced another giant detail for Minecraft 1.18. As of the second half of Caves & Cliffs, Minecraft's two primary versions-Java and Bedrock-will share virtually similar world seeds. The second new biome is stuffed with pointed dripstone and dripstone blocks. The first half of the Caves & Cliffs update came with tons of latest blocks and gadgets, however update 1.18 is far more focused on these huge biome and world generation modifications. As soon as you have decided how a lot RAM you need to make use of, click on Save. On the very least, copy and save the “Saves” folder. Any save file began through the use of a particular world seed will be identical to another utilizing the same seed. When you own the Demo Package Kind one hundred blueprint from the Enjoy the Retreat bundle, your visibility will now not be blocked when aiming down sight utilizing a 3-6x scope. That solely works if you are utilizing the same version of Minecraft though. For version 1.18, Java and Bedrock versions of Minecraft have nearly an identical worlds generated by the identical seed.
So I was having the same downside, downloaded Home windows 7 version and it's working nice. Should you downloaded minecraft-teamextreme-1.6.2-warez-launcher.exe from untrusted, nameless or hackers website, the risk is high. Lofty Peaks: These snow-coated peaks will solely generate if the mountain is excessive enough and the encircling biomes are warm. Mountain Meadow: Low mountain regions. Mountain Grove: This space is the primary snow-coated mountainous space. For those who get near one, the world will dim, regardless of any gentle supply used. titan launcher for mc The app will instantly offer you access to whichever software you want. With this, you can flip the game into a multiplayer by permitting your folks access to the server. You could find snow blocks. Stony Peaks: This biome is a model of lofty/snowcapped peaks that features stone and gravel as a substitute of snow and ice, and is used to keep away from temperature clashes reminiscent of a snowcapped peak in the midst of a jungle. Snow Capped Peaks: This biome will only generate if the encompassing biomes are too cold for Lofty Peaks. You should also be aware of the potential dangers that this setting can have-falling right into a pit of stalagmites will hurt.
A music disc referred to as "otherside" is can now be found in strongholds and dungeons. Minecraft 1.12 TeamExtreme is now accessible! Caves aren't the one things that have gotten a makeover within the Minecraft 1.18 replace-it known as 'Caves & Cliffs' after all. The Lush Caves biome adjustments all that. Whereas there are probably still dangers to look out for, this new biome gives the underground world of Minecraft a way more welcoming feel, adding an abundance of plant life to an otherwise sterile setting. Noodle caves: Similar to Spaghetti caves however much smaller. It acts much like vines, breaking completely if one section is destroyed. The app contains colorful activities like a mix-and-match block sport, a drawing pad, and a Busy Board full of buttons, switches, bells and musical blobs. CPL additionally supports the Google feed and the At A look widget, and Assistant options, though you’ll want to put in an extra app from GitHub to get the feed to work on CPL.
Infinite scrolling, transition animations, numerous folder kinds and a number of app drawer types add even larger customization. This implies that you may run native servers on your Home windows 10 Laptop and even put together server pack checks for assessing the game and ensuring the efficiency stays sublime. Even better, get some enderpearls and rush in to engage the archers, who will typically be weaker in melee combat. These will type stalagmites and stalactites to give some variance to the usual blocky terrain. You'll be ready to identify the situation of Lush Caves by the Azalea bushes that grow above them in the overworld terrain. Are you able to spot the variations? The TITAN Evo 2022 Minecraft Edition chair is, as you can see from the launch images, styled after the sport's Creeper character. Full your setup with the Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 Minecraft Edition. The Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 Sequence Minecraft Edition chair options the corporate's SoftWeave Plus Fabric, in addition to some premium features like a full-metallic inner mechanism for precision and sturdiness. Mojang and Secretlab have teamed up to launch an official Minecraft Version gaming chair. Mojang says of full seed parity that "We're not 100% there yet, however close. It's very comparable. Details will probably be totally different." You may see simply how close your Java and Bedrock worlds will likely be in one of the examples up there that Mojang shared.

Anything you're looking forwards to in s9?
oh man, i'm looking forward to so many things, you have no idea. just having hermitcraft back in general? very exciting!
however, if i had to pick a few specifics...
SPAWN VILLAGE SPAWN VILLAGE SPAWN VILLAGE. i cannot express enough how exciting that idea is to me. all the hermits starting the season in the same general vicinity? that makes me SO EXCITED. even if it's not everyone, the fact that it'll be a lot of them is gonna be REAL GOOD and i can't wait to see how it goes.
decked out 2.0 baby! things that will make tango become one of my main povs: the 1.19 update.
the fact that several hermits have said something about minigames, actually - i've heard from joe, rendog, obviously tango... if season 8 lacked something, it was definitely "stupid minigame competitions", and the return of those is gonna be something beautiful, i think. (although, this is obviously a mid/late-season thing; they have to get established first.)
the fact that at the very least a few hermits i'm watching are going to deliberately not know what the seed is and explore properly makes me excited. it'll make it feel a little more like minecraft as i play it, since i certainly don't seek a seed before i start playing. i don't know if this will be all of the hermits, although a few things in the town hall make me really hopeful it will be, but even if it's just like, joe and cleo, that's still gonna be fun. 1.18 is an exploration update, lets see some exploration!
as a joe hills fan i am increasingly hyped for that pinball table actually

summary: spencer helps you get much needed rest as you study for finals category: fluff, spencer reid x gn!reader warnings: food mention, mortality joke wc: 1k.
A/N: thank you my love @reidtheprettyboy for making me this gif! go look at her pretty gifs for more 🥺 prompts are from my 750 celebration! “do i have to?” + “i love you, but i need you to go away because you’re really bloody distracting and i have to pass this test tomorrow.”.
“The brain’s ability to apply logic and reasoning functions better with 7.16 hours of sleep. Overall cognitive ability improves after 7.38 hours, or by adding 1.18 hours more to your usual amount.”
“That's nice.”
“You’ve only slept for three. That’s well below the recommended average. Though if you add just an hour — say, with a brief nap — it could improve your brain function, thereby making it easier for you to study.” “Go away, Spencer.”
“Spencer? No cute name? Did I get demoted suddenly?”
“Yes. You get demoted when you bother me.”
“I’m not bothering, I’m helping,” he laughs, wrapping two arms around your tense shoulders, pressing his lips to your throbbing temples. “You need some sleep.”
He’s right, you do. For days now, you’ve burned the candle at both ends — waking up early to study, staying up late to finish up, only to wake up and do it again the next morning. If it weren’t for Spencer inviting himself over to your place — bringing you snacks, refreshing your coffee pot (secretly switching you to decaf when necessary), and reminding you to wash your hair (a sad fact, admittedly) — you wouldn’t have seen a single other soul all week. He’s been helpful more times than you can count.
But right now, he’s getting in the way of you and a series of chapters you so desperately need to learn.
“I promise, I’ll sleep for three whole days when I pass this exam. Or when I’m dead — whichever comes first.”
“Uh-huh, that’s a good joke... but actually, sleeping more than 2.76 hours above your average is just as detrimental to brain function as not sleeping enough.”
You nod along, humming like you’re agreeing with him just to get him to stop his (very rightful) nagging. “That’s nice. Now, go. Away. Spencer.”
“Just let me help,” he pouts, resting his chin against the top of your head.
The full weight of his body leans onto your back, holding you down like a secure blanket and for the first time that day, you feel some comfort. Your sigh is felt through every ounce of you as you set down the pen you’ve held onto so tightly that it’s left indentation marks on your fingers.
“Just stay here with me. That’s helping.” You crane your neck up to meet his head and place a small kiss to the underside of his chin. You can feel him smile against you, and the small rumble in his throat from his giggle tickles your lips.
“And so are these,” you smirk, reaching up to steal the glasses from his face and slipping them on yours as you go back to reading, the words on the page now a lot closer to your strained eyes. He makes some comment about you ruining your vision with his insanely high prescription, but you don’t care. Wearing his things and the cute, false indignation he puts up when you take them, makes you happy.
“Okay, but this isn’t super comfortable,” he taps his chin in dramatic thought, pulling your desk chair, with you in it, back a little. “Can we study on your bed?”
“Do I have to?” You give him a pointed look, eyes narrowing in suspicion of what ploy he’s thinking of. Still, you follow him as he moves onto your bed. Not as if you have a choice, he stole all of your textbooks from you so you have to do what he says.
“Well you’re already here. Seems harder not to, now, doesn’t it?”
You roll your eyes at him and plop belly-down onto the mattress.
Oh. It’s so soft.
So unlike the hard, hard desk chair you’ve been sitting on for days.
And the covers are warm and inviting.
Spencer scoots himself closer, laying his chest on your back as you prop yourself on your elbows, textbook laying open in front of you. His head settles into the crook between your shoulder and neck, nuzzling into your skin as you read, arms bracing himself on either side of you. He’s boxed you in with his whole body, and all you can feel is his warmth.
By your furrowed eyebrows, he can tell you’re still tense, so he begins brushing your hair out of your eyes, dragging his fingers along your scalp and applying increasing pressure as they travel down to the base of your neck, rubbing small, soothing circles.
“You’re not cute,” you lie, shifting down the bed and relaxing more fully.
He presses a kiss to your shoulder, in the spot of bare skin that’s left exposed by your cardigan — really, his cardigan. Another piece you’ve stolen from him long ago that at some point he decided became more yours than his. Ours, as you preferred to think of it.
The hand not supporting his weight rubs up and down the sleeve, the friction leaving warm trails that he retraces over and over. Not that you can see, but he’s smiling, “I know.”
Following a big yawn, and a series of smaller, successive ones, you press on, “I love you, but... I need you to... go away because... you’re really... bloody distracting… and... I have to pass this test tomorrow.”
Your eyelids droop a bit, and you stretch them out, refocusing your vision on the pages that continue to taunt you. To no avail, it seems, as they start falling again, only getting heavier each time.
“Sure,” he continues stroking out your hair, recovering his glasses from your face so they stay out of your way as your head starts approaching the mattress. Your whole body slacks, and he hums happily when a soft snore escapes you, leaving one last peck along the top of your hairline, “I love you, too.”

The Road to Hell (is Paved with Good Intentions)
“Season 8 was well underway, and the server’s first conflict is bubbling just under the surface. But BDoubleO can’t worry about that right now because he has an Etho to find so they can work on the Horse Course together. However when Xisuma calls a surprise server meeting on behalf of EvilXisuma, BDubs gets his answers about where Etho’s been in the worst way possible.”
(CW: angst, blood, gore) <--- later chapters, this one’s clean.
Welcome to my first attempt at Ethoslab angst! I wanted an nHo-centric fic with a heavy dose of Etho angst. I have nowhere else to post this, and fair warning I am terrible at characterizations, so everyone will probably be a bit OOC to some extent; but for sure EvilX will be very OOC in how evil he is in this one. The Rating for the later chapters is a solid M, so be warned about that. If y’all have suggestions or feedback, feel free to come and say hi! P.S. I got my inspiration for this fic from this fic over here! Give them some love too.
Chapter 2 / Chapter 3 / Chapter 4 / Chapter 5 / Chapter 6 / Chapter 7
Chapter 1 (below the cut)
BDoubleO was worried.
Now, it wasn’t often he worried, particularly about Etho. Especially after the shenanigans from Season 5 with the nHo, and their many years of collaboration after that, he was well aware that Etho had a habit of disappearing for weeks on end. Even when he was supposed to be helping with a bit of collaboration work like the Horse Course, he was infamous for suddenly disappearing for a week, and coming back acting like nothing had happened. But even still, Etho usually left a note, or told someone about where he was going so they at least knew when to approximately expect him to show back up. This time though, Etho hadn’t even left Iskall a note, and so far this season he had made sure to at least leave a note for Iskall since they were sharing a base. (BDoubleO had asked Iskall 3 days after the last time he had seen Etho to ask if he knew where Etho was. Iskall didn’t know, though he had seen him 2 days previously puttering around their shared base as normal.) He had asked around the other Hermits, seeing if anyone had heard anything. The only one that had seen anything was Beef, who had said he had seen Etho lurking on the edges of his territory heading toward the top of BDubs’ mountain with a spyglass about a day and a half ago. Doc had mentioned that while he hadn’t seen Etho recently, he had heard that Etho had been busy in talks with Xisuma and Evil Xisuma over something. However, when BDubs questioned Xisuma, he said he hadn’t seen Etho since the last major server meeting. (It was always disconcerting when Hermits’ stories didn’t match up, as that usually meant there were shenanigans afoot. But BDubs couldn’t figure out why there would be shenanigans afoot, because this was just Etho.)
A whinny from Lulu beneath him startled BDubs out of his worries. Looking around he realized that they were already staring up at Xisuma’s lighthouse and general base area. Why were they there you might ask? (A theoretical from a theoretical, truly meta of him, aha) WELL, Xisuma had sent out a message to the server that everyone should come and gather at his base for an important something. BDubs was confused, and very concerned, that Xisuma was insisting on the meeting being in person. After all, any news could be dispensed through the Server messages, and all their bases were known, so boards could be placed at bases for Hermits to see as they came in and out. Meeting in person was never technically necessary, though it made it generally easier to talk with each other since they didn’t have to type everything out. The point stood however, that unless it was an emergency, Xisuma never called a general Hermit assembly outside of their regularly scheduled monthly meetings.
Looking around, BDubs was able to see that Beef was already there, along with most of the Boatem Crew, and surprisingly enough, the Horsehead Farms guys were there as well. Of course, Doc was on his way, and last he heard, the Big Eye crew was following up behind him since they both had been busy when the announcement had gone out. The rest of the server would be on their way because of how far out they were. (Part of BDubs wondered if those who were coming in later were the lucky ones. The rest of him wondered why he was so filled with anxiety and so certain this meeting was only going to be terrible.) Deciding nothing good would come of dwelling on the negatives, he made his way over to where Beef (who was looking more unrecognizable by the day as the alien contamination overtook him) was standing alone, seemingly keeping his eye out for someone or something.
“Hey Beef!” BDubs called out, smiling and waving as he approached. Beef looked over at the sudden shouting of his name, and instantly relaxed as he saw BDubs approaching. “Hey BDubs!” he called back, something alien layered under his normal voice. (It spoke of void and distant stars, though Tango had recently been saying it reminded him more of sulfur and brimstone). “You know anything about why Xisuma’s called this meetup?” asked Beef before BDubs could ask the question himself.
“Not a clue,” BDubs replied, allowing his concern to show through as he stood ill-at-ease beside his friend. “He just announced he had something he wanted to show or talk to us about I guess, though I can’t imagine what it could be about.” Well, BDubs had a guess or two, but none of them were generally pleasant topics of conversation, outside of some surprise announcement for the next server update to 1.18.
“Darn, I was hoping you would have heard something…” said Beef, his own unease easy to read. BDubs shrugged, looking around at the other groups of players standing outside the Lighthouse. It looked like even in the short time they had been greeting each other, the other Big Eyed Crew had arrived on his tailwind. An awkward pause settled between the two of them, both having been so tied up in their own shenanigans to really know what the other had been up to. BDubs debated bringing up the obvious, but it seemed like one of those things you don’t necessarily bring up. But then again…
“Yo Beef,” said BDubs, turning to look at Beef again. Beef startled out of his momentary reverie. “You’ve been looking pretty, uh… green recently. How’s that been treating you?”
For a moment Beef looked almost confused, before he seemed to connect the dots and snorted. “Oh yeah, it’s been treating me great, as you can see.” They both chuckled a bit at his sarcasm before he continued. “But in all seriousness, I hadn’t really been noticing it. I mean, I definitely notice that people have been giving me a wider berth this season, which hasn’t been great for business since I have a great idea for selling specialty cat food I can make on my alien ship. I haven’t personally noticed too many changes outside my appearance thus far however.” After a moment Beef said, “So how about you? How have Keralis and Tango been treating you this season?”
BDubs chuckled. “Would you believe it if I told you it’s been going great? I have a mountain already, and we have a small bay town we’re building up to serve as a shopping district for our Big Eye Crew. Plus, we got Tango to actually make his eyes big, so it’s a win all around! Though I’ve been noticing more Derpcoin sneaking into our shops…”
“Hey now, what’s wrong with Derpcoin?!” exclaimed Beef, looking vaguely offended. BDubs was startled by this, completely not expecting such an outburst from Beef of all people.
“I mean, there’s nothing necessarily wrong with it, it’s just I have no idea what the conversion rate is on the stuff, so I don’t know what people are paying in my shop for the items they’re buying,” replied BDubs. “Plus, there’s nowhere to use it.”
“But there is a place to use it! You could use it at EX’s Evil Emporium. Plus, with more people signing up for Derpcoin, it seems like a lucrative market to sell in,” countered Beef, a strange gleam in his eyes. “EX was nice enough to give me an in into his Derpcoin shopping district, so I’ll have a storefront through the Evil Emporium.”
"Evil Emporium huh?" BDubs made a considering noise. "Heard a little bit about it back when EX was doing a little sales pitch in our neck of the woods. Seems pretty fishy to me, but if you think it's a trustworthy establishment, I'll definitely give it a second look."
"Attention everyone!" called out Xisuma, suddenly standing in the center of the gathered Hermits. "Your attention please!" BDubs looked over to where X was waving everyone over. He noticed that X seemed abnormally forward, though that could be attributed to his paranoia. Afterall, X wasn’t one to cause problems! Sure he had been trying to get people on board with this Evil Emporium thing pretty hard, but X couldn’t hurt a fly even on a good day, so BDubs wondered if this wasn’t about Derpcoin.
He had been hearing from the other Big-Eyed crew that tensions between Boatem and the Derpcoin empire had been slowly escalating over the last week or so. Plus he had been hearing about more of the unaffiliated Hermits beginning to create close ties with EX’s brand, embracing Derpcoin as their main currency even! On the other hand, he’d been hearing from some of the Boatem people about how they were getting sick and tired of finding Derpcoin in their shops, and seemingly some people were beginning to refuse to pay for items with diamonds… There was a mess brewing for sure in the background this season, it just seemed like an issue that could wait till the next monthly meeting is all.
With a jolt, BDubs was brought back to the present as Doc bumped him in the shoulder. “How are you doing BDubs? Looking pretty lost in thought there, big guy.”
“Well, doing pretty good if you must ask!” BDubs puffed up with the compliment on his height, despite knowing it was more than likely meant in a sarcastic manner. Between Doc and Etho, BDubs never really could catch a break. “You just get here then?”
Doc let out a rumbly hum in agreement. “Yesss, though I have no idea why Xisuma called the meeting. Know anything?”
BDubs and Beef both shook their heads. “We’re in the dark as much as you are, it seems,” replied Beef, moving towards the other Hermits to try and get their little group to walk and talk.
“I have a theory though!” continued BDubs, leaning in to act somewhat more conspiratorially. Doc leaned in a bit more than he needed to, getting a friendly bump on the head from Beef. “See, I’m sure you’ve both heard a bit more than I have about Boatem vs the Evil Emporium. I think things might be heating up enough between the two that X might be forced to intervene soon.” BDubs rubbed the back of his neck. “Admittedly, it still seems like the kind of thing that he would bring up in the monthly meeting instead of an impromptu meeting like this.”
“Looks like we don’t have to wait long to find out in any case.” Beef gestured at the surrounding Hermits and Xisuma himself still standing at the center looking official as usual. (Though BDubs thought he looked a little dazed, but he shoved the thought aside.)
“Thank you everyone for taking time out for this meeting!” called out Xisuma, his face still disconcertingly empty. “I’ve called you together today because EX had a stream he wanted us all to watch, and I agree it is most imperative we all watch it together.”
BDubs did not like the sound of this one bit. “What’s the stream about?” called Joe from the opposite side of the crowd.
“Yeah, why’s it so important we all have to watch it?” asked Cleo from beside him. BDubs realized that those two had had to travel across the entire continent to come to the meeting, and Joe was still renouncing wings, so taking long trips was a distinct hassle. At the very least, it was far more time consuming than everyone else’s trips had been, minus potentially XB and Hypno’s trip.
Xisuma seemed to stand there taking it silently, which was not necessarily outside of the usual, but his response certainly was. “With that out of the way, I’ll get the screen set up, and then we can watch EX’s stream!” ‘That was strange,’ thought BDubs as he looked around the circle of bewildered Hermits. Normally X would try to answer questions, or at least let them know things precisely before he did them. It was incredibly out of character that he would just ignore Joe and Cleo like that… Particularly Joe and Cleo if BDubs was to be brutally honest. Those three had been closer than three peas in a pod since Season 2, and Joe and X had known each other pretty well since almost the start of Season 1. To have those two brushed off by Xisuma struck a wrong chord.
BDubs was pulled back to the present as Xisuma rapidly typed into his communicator, and a holographic screen projected just beyond the circle of Hermits behind where Cub was standing. Almost as one, the Hermits turned to look at it, curiosity overpowering any potential feelings of lingering confusion and discomfort.
Xisuma’s expression was blank as the large screen buzzed to life in front of them. However, BDubs’ watched as he seemed to come back to himself just as the static on the screen cleared and the assembled hermits gasped in disbelief and horror.
‘Well,’ thought BDubs to himself, dread rising like a wave about to swallow him whole. ‘Now we know where Etho went.’ For there on the screen, looking the worst BDubs had ever seen him, was a restrained Etho beside a seemingly gleeful EvilXisuma.

so like. ok.
work is always kinda crazy this time of year. we run a damn good sale and usually the games we host run sales and people like to gift servers for the holiday. genuinely the busiest time of the year, right? we’ve got that established yeah?
so then enter minecraft. it releases 1.18 a week ago. one of the biggest updates its had in a while, completely changing how it does worldgen. so we got that going on as well and the clusterfuck of trying to figure out how to optimize it because its a beast compared to older versions and is eating ALL the ram.
two very big things causing higher than normal traffic. you’re still following yeah?
then theres my little slice of responsibilities of juggling contract dates with particular providers. i’ve got a handful expiring this month and that means having to migrate customers off of these devices and deprovisioning them, which is a multi-day ordeal that takes the whole department coordinating to make sure customers get migrated by a particular deadline.
theres a never-ending stream of modpacks we have to keep updated. like so many that every person gets assigned a few to get done throughout the week. not hard to do, but it’s still a process that requires your attention. you don’t want to package the wrong files or forget to test it before setting it live, yknow.
also, we have two very new people whomst we are still heavily training.
so presently, we have five rather sizeable situations keeping us busier than we’ve ever been before. we are already stretched as thin as we can be. there are only 6 of us to divvy up a shitload of work.
all of this, by the way, is secondary to our main job. which is manning the support chat. which is popping off right now. which means most of us are trying to handle 3 conversations at once and troubleshooting very different problems all at once.
enter in our ceo.
who fucking bait and switches us so goddamn hard we can’t even react.
who told us WEEKS ago that we absolutely would NOT be taking on the customers from another host closing down.
who then turns around at the last goddamn minute and changes his mind and oh, by the way support team here’s hundreds of new customers you manually have to migrate from their old host to us. also theres no process in place about how to do this because we didn’t give a shit to think that far in advance. also didn’t bother to hire any of the other host’s support staff even temporarily to help with this very sudden load as an extra fuck you. teehee you have a week to get it done.
you might now be able to imagine just a hint of the raw anger we feel as a collective whole right now. like, i filed a formal complaint on him for this and a number of other shitty things he’s pulled like this. my manager got a write up for bitching him out on our behalf. our two new people are not enjoying the job they thought would be amazing - and normally would be.
this is a shit hit the fan at the shitshow during a shitstorm kind of ordeal.
and when its all over me and hr are having some hard fucking words with the ceo else he’s losing his whole support department and realizing just how vital we are to keeping this whole company running.

I don't rewatch Mystery of a Thousand Moons (1.18) often but/because it always breaks my heart to see how innocent, dutiful and brave Ahsoka is.
At the season draws close, it is expected the tension to drive up and the blue shadow virus is the first time Ahsoka's near-death experiences actually scared me. Before that, she had duelled Ventress and Grievous but you know by plot armour, nobody could die. The most frightening aspect of the episode was witnessing Ahsoka's decline. From the protective commander to a continued voice of hope. Oh she trusted her Master so, then having to bury the men in her care, and taking the resolve to send Anakin a farewell.
There's this innocence that is a fearless determination. She mocks death every other day, but what is it to feel it in her bones? What time there is to contemplate, knowing it's an honour to go out like a true Jedi, and alongside these valiant friends? She probably didn't process that far in her little mind.
There's her selflessness. Not until the very end of the episode that she actually express something on her mind, other than a report on the mission. It's reminiscent of Wookiee Hunt (3.22), on her return from the Trandoshan moon. Again, after such an incredible ordeal, she thanked her Master. In 1.18, there isn't a character arc for Anakin as well so what she did here is purely out of her own intent instead of (simultaneously) serving a plot in 3.22. I don't want to downplay Ahsoka's inherent strength, even when the show might act like this, because Anakin also doesn't approve it was entirely to his credit. But I just want to say she has so much respect for Anakin, at the same time could totally see through his bullshit. Her perceptiveness allowed her to say things that Anakin needs to hear, and she says that with all the gratitude true to her heart.
