9. a ship that isn't your OTP but that you enjoy
ahhh I have manyyy bc I usually hyperfixate on one ship per fandom but i do also enjoy a lot of canon side pairings (and also combos that include my OTP)
main fandoms that I have a lot of ships for are SPN and BtVS/AtS and aside those OTPs (destiel/spuffy):
- i really love Sam/Eileen, Willow/Tara, Xander/Anya, Angel/Cordelia and Wesley/Fred
- i also enjoy Sam/Rowena, Castiel/Crowley and Wesley/Lilah
- i think the concept of Dean/Cas/Jimmy, Cas/Jimmy or Dean/Jimmy is really interesting
- i think Angel/Buffy/Spike would fix them
- i think Dean/Cas/Crowley would make them worse
20. your very first fandom!
i kinda see myself as having multiple "first fandoms", bc while i've always been super invested in my favourite media, the way i interacted with media and especially other fans has changed a lot
~5yo - Sailor Moon/Pokemon: baby's first fandoms in that i was drawing, cosplaying, coming up with my own stories, asking for merch, and my family and friends knew that i Really Liked This Stuff (my 70yo italian nonni were watching SM with me and buying me mewtwo plushies ahhh~)
10yo - Stargate SG-1: the first piece of adult media i got into and also Jack/Sam was the first non-established/assured ship i got invested in, tho I didn’t really “make” anything for the show, tho i did get my first experience of fanworks via a series of comics
14yo - Danny Phantom: probably what most people would consider my first actual fandom! (happy 20th anniversary today !!!) i watched one episode and immediately decided i wanted to learn how to draw the artstyle and it's the reason i started drawing people more than animals! i became very quickly obsessed with the show and wanted More™ between weekly episodes and that’s when i discovered online fandom! i learnt about the concept of fanart and fanfic and i lied abt my age to make a DA account so that i could read a fancomic! i did my first RPing on (iirc) TV.com! but despite drawing and crafting and cosplaying and plotting stories, I was still very much just lurking online
18yo - Hetalia: I finally decided to actually start interacting with other people online after making an LJ account and seeing the chaos during the Bloodbath events and wanting to participate :’D made friends in the main comm, and i credit them with convincing me to make a tumblr so that’s how i ended up here lol
19yo - Good Omens: the culmination of all the experiences i had with my previous fandoms, but for the first time bc i started actually sharing my art, cosplay, plotbunnies and fic online far more often rather than just interacting with things other people made, now people were interacting with the things i was making ;w;

@vampiregokudera I’m so glad that someone else is interested in this because I’ve been dying to talk about it. Buffy has been very important since I was little and so Kon loving Wendy is also very special to me.
Kon uses Wendy as a way to get caught up with pop culture since despite being technically 16, he has no real experience in the world (and I sincerely doubt the scientists at Cadmus were concerned with pop culture) and how to act like a normal teenager. This means that sometimes he would try to emulate the characters in order to seem more normal, but anyone who’s seen Buffy, would know that the teens don’t really talk like normal people, so he gets a lot of weird looks especially from Tim, Cassie, and Cissie.
Tumblr media
I have this theory/hc that Cassie was redesigned in TT’03 with Buffy/SMG in mind and the in universe explanation being that Kon had a crush on Terri Jewel Jackson (aka fake SMG) who plays Wendy and in order to seem more attractive to him Cassie tried to copy her appearance. (I know the first one is from YJ but it’s so similar I had to add it).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, I do feel like Kon’s crush on Terri was less a crush and more a projection of his own want. Kon as someone created in the shadow of Superman often feels/felt that he had to be just like Clark. This led to him dating Tana Moon, and shaped a lot of his personality and choices, however having an icon like Wendy who is a hero but also is so set in her ways and who directly defies the feminine/masculine hero dichotomy that a lot of 90’s shows had would give him someone he could connect to, someone he could aspire to be. Wendy who also comes from a line of of heroes and holds up that responsibility (even if she struggles with it at times) while still being herself would absolutely be someone Kon would idolize which is why I think his ‘crush’ is more hero worship than anything.
Tumblr media
On a lighter note: Wendy is without a doubt his favorite but when Luella and Clover get together he is beyond ecstatic and loves them in a ‘totally normal, just supporting one of your friends as an actress don’t look into that much way’. He refuses to watch that episode whenever he rewatches the show. He also has an insane amount of WTWS merch including the box set (collector’s edition of course), those weird CD card things, t-shirts, buttons, and the official handbook.

The Moment I Knew.
I truly never thought that I would be writing this. I never thought we would have gone through this to begin with, but this? This is definitely something I never imagined.
Today was the day. You left me. You really left me. I had a feeling you would, but I honestly didn’t want to believe it. I didn’t want to let myself actually believe you would do that to me. But here we are. You came and dropped off the phone and watch I bought you while I was at work and you left.
This is my goodbye to you since you didn’t even give me the opportunity to say goodbye. I love you. I love you with my whole entire heart. I would give my life to spare yours if it came down to it. I would do anything for you. In my eyes, you are perfect. You are this little perfect human being going around working his job, living his life, trying to make everyone happy and trying to do the right thing. And you did. You made me so happy. Thinking about you makes me smile. You would think after all this I would hate you, but I don’t. I love you still with everything I have.
I want you to think about where we started. Our first date. Diary Queen. Dave & Buster’s. The lake I took you to. The Billie Eilish concert. Our roadtrip to Corpus Christi on our own. Lover. Staying out late together. Sleeping at each other’s house. The bubble bath we took together on our first night at the new house while watching Grey’s Anatomy. All the movies we went to see in theaters. Joker. The Ring. IT 2. Scream. Spiderman. Dr. Strange. Our movie nights at home. Our cookouts. Me making dinner for you. Us driving around the city. Shopping together. Sleeping next to each other. Holding each other in our sleep. The videos we would share with each other. The pictures we took together. Our trip to the zoo together where we fed giraffes. Our trip to the zoo with Hunter. Six Flags. The restaurants we went out to eat at. Our very first Christmas when I told you I wanted to spend all of them with you. Grocery shopping together. Drinking coffee and eating chonchas together. Shaving our heads during quarantine. SURVIVING a pandemic together. Surviving a statewide freeze with no power or water. Going shopping on Black Friday and I bought you a PlayStation. You bought me a Cricut and all the stuff I made thanks to you. Halloween shopping with you. Finding new shows to watch. Buffy. Super Store. Squid Game. We Are All Dead. Selena. America’s Next Top Model. Going to the that ranch in Fort Worth. Buying merch together.
I want you to think about all that. I want you to think about the things I might have left out. Think about it all. Remember it. Remember the feelings we had when we did those things. I truly can’t believe you let it all go. But I was willing to fight for what we had. I was willing to do the work and put in the effort to get back to where we once were. I know that I wasn’t perfect. I was far from it. But I have already implemented changes within myself and I was more than willing to make the changes you wanted to see in our relationship as well.
You are the love of my life. I haven’t felt this way about anyone else. No one except you. Because I'm sure you are my soulmate. No one makes me feel at home no matter where we are. No one makes me feel safe and loved like you do. You are my only one.
I’m still in utter disbelief. I feel destroyed. I feel like my life is over. I wish you’d turn around and change your mind and tell me you want me. That you jumped the gun. You got scared and you made a mistake.
I love you. I want you. I want you and only you. I still keep a picture of you in my wallet because when I’m not with you I can pull it out and look at you. I’ve been doing a lot of that lately. I love you. I’ll love you forever and I'll never forget you.
I love you.

Well now I have to know what your 3% beef is
[Nonny refers to the tags where I said I liked 97% of Turning Red.]
My peeve, in a word: aetonormativity.
In a bunch of words:
Aetonormativity (literally, "adult = normal") is the idea that a lot of our stories carry the hidden assumption that adults' perspective both is and should be the default way of understanding life. It dismisses children's perspective as selfish and limited, or simply fails to consider that a child could be right where adults are wrong.
Cates has written extensively about the fact that in magical coming-of-age stories, especially those starring girls, there is a tendency not to let girls have too much power. Enough that girls have power over boys, maybe, but not so much that they start to disrespect women. For example, Korra spends much of Legend of Korra not listening to her adult mentors, which always proves to be a mistake and leads to her learning to listen better. (Contrast: Aang.) Buffy will let Willow be more powerful than the gods, but never has a moment where she is right and Giles wrong when they disagree about her magic. A Little Princess features Sara often going behind adults' backs, but her ultimate act of defiance is to Get an Adult who saves the day. So on.
Anyway, Turning Red is 97% a story about a teen girl defying the adults in her life — and being right to do so. And I really like that movie. It's the feminist remake of Teen Wolf (1985) I never knew I'd wanted all these years. (Also: your mileage may vary, my perspective is biased, and my major peeve is someone else's easily-ignored blip.)
However. Meilin's mom might mean well... but she also follows her daughter around, sex-shames her, shows up at her school, deliberately ruins her social life, and eventually resorts to physically attacking her. Sure, we can argue that Ming's dealing with her own anxiety and she's scared of losing her future if Meilin becomes Canadian-acculturated... but. BUT the security guard at Meilin's school is apparently on high alert and has had to escort Ming off the premises to keep her from spying on students, by the time Ming shows up during the merch montage. BUT Ming doesn't want Meilin to have other friendships and tries to end those friendships where possible. BUT Meilin feels unsafe at home and can only be mentally safe when with friends.
I watched Turning Red with Spouse; the moment Panda-Ming attacked the concert crowd, we gasped and grabbed hands, babbling "they're doing it" "oh my god they're doing it" "they're going there". Because we thought we were finally, finally witnessing the moment where Rapunzel rejects Mother Gothel... with a biological parent. Where Meilin realizes that her mother loving her is not enough, if she can't be safe at home.
Only, see, Ming and Meilin do share genes. So it doesn't ultimately matter that Ming beats Meilin up and tries to kill her; Ming "can't help it" on account of being premenstrual caught up in panda emotions. It doesn't ultimately matter that other adults in Meilin's life feel moved to shelter her from her mom; Ming means well and intentions are more important than actions. Because adults are right, and when kids disagree with them then the kids should be corrected.
That story that we glimpsed, when we grabbed hands in excitement over a kids' animated movie actually going there by showing that it can sometimes be a good thing to defy one's biological parents... I want that movie. I want a world where parents are sometimes wrong, even non-step-parents. Even when they mean well. Even if it leads to a tougher scene between Ming and Meilin, and a less happy ending. Even if it ends with Meilin's dad or aunts getting custody. We got about 97% of that movie, and I do really enjoy that 97%.

July Mini-Fest Now Open!
Tumblr media
I don't know about you, but I dip my toe in a lot of different fandoms. I may not be as invested in the fanfiction side of it, but I own merch from a ton of different movies, shows, and books, and flail over fanart and fan theories. There is just so much to love out there.
So this month we are doing something a little different. I want to see what other fandoms you enjoy and what would happen if they collided with your favorite HP characters.
The only requirement is to have at least one Harry Potter character interact with at least one character from another fandom. It can be done any way you choose - HP characters find themselves in the other fandom's universe, or vise versa. It can be romantic, platonic, friendly, or hostile. Can’t decide between two fandoms? Include them both. It's up to you!
Maybe Magizoologist Luna finds herself on a hunt with the Winchesters after hearing reports of an unknown creature in the mountains of Colorado.
Or Auror Harry realizes the depth of his feelings for his coworker Theo while working a murder case alongside Sherlock and Watson.
Perhaps Unspeakable Hermione is accidentally sent back in time to 1943 and meets Steve Rogers, the newly minted Captain America and boyishly charming man she can't stop thinking about.
OR, after his defeat at the hands of that boy Potter, Lord Voldemort awakes in the middle of a vast desert with no shade, water, or means of escape in sight. His only companion is Emperor Palpatine, who he spends his days unsuccessfully trying to kill as they argue about who is the most powerful and who committed the vilest deeds.
The possibilities are endless, really.
If you are not sure what fandom to choose, here is a list of ideas to help spark your muse. But please keep in mind, you can choose ANY other fandom. It does not have to be from the list below.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
DC Universe
Doctor Who
Game of Thrones
Ghostbusters
Grishaverse
Howl's Moving Castle
Labyrinth
Let's Play (webcomic)
Lord of the Rings
Lore Olympus (webcomic)
Lucifer
Marvel Universe
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir
Sherlock
Star Trek
Star Wars
Stargate
Supernatural
The Mummy
The One with the Crossovers - mini-fest rules:
Pairing: ANY (as long as one Harry Potter character interacts with one character from another fandom - it does not have to be in a pairing)
Rating: ANY
Dates: 6/30 to 7/24, collection will reveal on 7/25 - There is no cutoff date to join. Jump in anytime until the submission deadline of 7/24.Please be sure to include your chosen fandom in the Author's notes.
Set rules for all mini-fests:
MIN/MAX REQUIREMENTS
Authors - 500 words min - no max, written for the mini-fest
Artists - 1 unique piece created for the mini-fest, no max - can be any type of graphic (moodboard, manip, digital art, hand-drawn)
Please note that you are welcome to submit BOTH a story and artwork if you wish! Also, if you are truly inspired and this turns into a longer fic or an art series, go for it! The only requirement is that you meet the minimums listed above by the mini-fest deadline. Afterwards, you can add to your entry on your own schedule.
NO ARCHIVE WARNINGS CAN APPLY.
All trigger warnings should be tagged and noted appropriately. No non-con or pedophilia permitted.

submit | storm of blue press
We want every unsent text you wish you were brave enough to send. Consider this an open phone plan.
Below is a snippet from our editor-in-chief; it includes a list of things we're always interested in reading more about, primarily feelings and ideas that excite & break us like waves against the shore.
GIRLS, electric loss, pink + blue + neon colors, unsent text messages + sent ones that blink back as read, vodka, dancing in the street at night, sloppy mouths, the day after, regret, plastic flamingo lights, 4:17 am, ruined cuticles, murmuring both ends of a conversation because I find myself talking to you through every orgasm, bathroom sinks, whole foods green hair, rewriting texts 6 different times bc I can’t bear to mess this up, pink drinks, glow in the dark stars, taking hours to fall asleep because it’s so easy to picture you sprawled out against this warm body, crying over “Someone Great” on Netflix, blaming everything on astrology, or timing, or me over you, sunsets, drinking just for an excuse to spill my guts, when a heart breaks does it echo, Boston accents, smiling into a kiss, New York, the state almost touching it just as much as I’m never touching you, empty spaces that make me choke, bright, half hideous stuffed animals won from claw machines, that moment when someone smiles + they put their hand over the camera lens, wishing I could make out with my phone and somehow transfer it like a Venmo, throwing dumb shit across my room to feel in control, eating Cheetos and nothing else all day, more alcohol, not remembering anything about that dream except knowing you were in it, pining, standing in the pool for hours and not moving, music videos in my head spilling out onto pavement, colored smoke, hazy boundaries, lines that slip like Crayola chalk in the rain, touching myself and wishing it was you instead, screaming sounds instead of words bc what do I even say, begging for a release bc this body can’t hold it all in, every single “I love you” + “I’m sorry” + “do you think we will ever be able to work” + all the in-betweens, a compilation of snapchat messages + insta DMs + texts + Spotify songs played right when you log on just in case you’re still watching me + the day we first met, digitalized 4ever, heartbeats sent through iMessage, voice memos recorded at 3 am & never sent to you but sometimes played back to myself years later to remind these fangs that there was a time I still fucking cared about something [anything], fisticuffs, friends to enemies to lovers to emotional tag as an Olympic sport, concentrated want like orange juice but it hurts more when I swallow, unobtainable vulnerability, balloons after a party when they fall really slowly and it’s like watching you leave all over again but in slow motion [funny bc you’re always running], birthday cake, 6 years of cards, candles which remind me of fire, remind me of your hands, remind me of that Buffy episode where she & Spike fuck & the whole goddamn house falls to the ground, absence, missing flights, missing chances, + missing you
Multimedia, nontraditional, and experimental collections are encouraged but not required.
Storm of Blue Press is by & for lgbtq women & nonbinary people. In your cover letter, please highlight the connection you personally have with the lgbtq community and with being a woman or nonbinary. We discourage third person bios with a string of publications and no personal connection. At Blue, it doesn't matter where you've been previously published (although it's really cool to meet those familiar with our friends of course). Bios can instead be built around unique aspects of your presence, and even include non-writing related attributes. Who do you fight for? What makes you angry, mad, or passionate? Who do you love and why? What's the saddest thing that's ever happened to you? Favorite food, dogs or cats, tiny, microscopic details you don't think anyone cares about... [spoiler alert: we care a lot]. Choose some of the above prompts or create your own, but please remain original, authentic, and unapologetically yourself.
We accept simultaneous submissions, but please notify us immediately if your work finds home elsewhere.
There is currently no reading fee for Blue Literary Magazine. Because of this, we currently don't have the funds to pay online contributors. We are not currently accepting young adult manuscripts unless they are lgbtq centered and absolutely amazing ($25 reading fee as well because we value both your time and ours).
We waive our reading fees for ALL lgbtq women & nonbinary people who ask, to help bridge the elitist divide in creative spaces. If you need a fee waived, email [email protected]

It’s here the 90′s mystery box unboxing video sorry about the terrible camera I was opening this stuff while holding the phone and did not think to turn it side ways.
Honest opinion
For the most part this was a pretty good box, would have liked a little less candy but i’m not going to complain, the only thing that i’m really a bit upset about is the warped Tommy keychain but I think that it got warped on the way here so i’m not going to blame it on the seller since everything else was in great condition.
There are a lot of stickers in the sticker pack and some really cool trading card which make up most of the box. I love the notebook as I always need notebooks. I do not own any Babysitter club books so that was cool. Overall you are going to get some of the seller’s merch (Sticks and pins) however if you are okay with that and want to experiance this box yourselves here is the link to the seller’s mystery box: https://www.etsy.com/listing/683514623/ultimate-90s-mystery-box-nicktoons-buffy?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=90s+mystery+box&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&frs=1
If you want maybe just the 90′s stickers he also has a listing for that here:

Beetles Bath And Beyond
Summary: Phil just wanted a relaxing bath. Just wanted to soak in the warm water for an hour, listen to some music and read some Buffy comics. What he didn’t want, however, was to have his bath with a million beetles surrounding him from all sides, turning his relaxing time into an actual nightmare.
Lucky for him, he had a boyfriend who just knew how to make everything better.
Words: 4539
warnings: smut, rimming, anal sex
read on ao3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/12745041#main
this fic is dedicated to my friend @p-hantasticpheels who’s been having some real life things she needed to deal with. so eve, i hope you like it! <333 (also, go send her some love! she is the best person ever and deserves the whole world!<3333)
“Dan!”
Dan was sitting on the couch with his laptop when he heard a shriek of his name coming from the downstairs bathroom.
He was enjoying some relaxing time by himself, scrolling on tumblr and twitter and letting his brain have a night off from all the thinking and stressing and working he had been doing the last few weeks.
Phil had walked into the lounge half an hour ago, announcing he was going to make himself a relaxing bath, asking Dan not to disturb him.
“Are you not inviting me to join you?” Dan asked with a pout, mostly joking. He knew Phil was at his limit in the last few days. He was constantly worrying and overthinking his and Dan’s decisions and feeling bad for missing on his family vacation and just generally feeling stressed.
They had a lot on their minds. With the approaching tour and new merch and regular video schedule they felt like they might have taken on a bit more than they can chew.
So knowing Phil as well as he did, Dan had no doubt that what he needed right now was some relaxing time by himself, not worrying about anyone or anything other than his own enjoyment.
“Nope. You are not allowed in there, so don’t even try.” Phil said determinedly, crossing his arms on his chest.
Dan feigned offense, just to humor Phil a little. “Oh, I see how it is.”
He turned away from Phil, a bit dramatically just for the effect. “Fine, go have your fantastic bath by yourself, see if I care.” he turned his attention back to his laptop, but couldn’t hold in his smile when he heard Phil’s small giggle, and felt him approaching the couch just to drop a kiss to Dan’s head before heading off to the bathroom.
Dan was glad to finally have some time to relax and unwind. Time to turn off his brain a little and let himself think about nothing and anything.
But even more so, he was glad that Phil was taking the time to do the same.
Because sometime Phil was really bad at taking some time off. He was just a worrier, always had been. Needed to do everything by himself, be involved in every step of every process even when it was someone else’s responsibility. To get him to relax and take a break when things were cerotic like they were now was near impossible sometimes.
He did get better at this over the years, Dan had to admit. They both came a long way in terms of self-care. Both made changes to benefit their mental health and nerves and productivity and their relationship with each other, professional and personal.
But still, usually he needed a gentle push from Dan in the right direction, needed someone to remind him to take a break and breathe deeply and maybe let someone else take charge for a change.
The fact that Phil came to the conclusion that he needed some time off from all that’s been going on all by himself meant that he was probably even more stressed than Dan had originally thought.
That’s why it came as such a surprise when Phil started calling Dan’s name from the downstairs bathroom with a voice that was as far from relaxed as it gets.
The loud shriek made Dan almost drop his laptop from his lap, quickly catching it before a real disaster happened.
“What’s wrong?” he called back, already getting up and heading towards Phil’s distressed voice.
He went down the stairs quickly, a little concerned with the lack of response from Phil. When he got there, he couldn’t help but stare at the peculiar sight in front of him, blinking at it in confusion.
Phil stood with his back to him, appearing to be completely naked, peering inside the bathroom from the door frame, still dripping wet.
“Phil?” Dan asked carefully.
Phil jumped from the noise, turning around to look at Dan with round, horrified eyes. That was when Dan noticed that Phil was holding a very small hand towel, trying to cover his crotch, not really succeeding even at that.
He had to contain his laughter. Whatever it was, Phil seemed pretty shaken up by it and probably wouldn’t appreciate Dan laughing at him.
“Beetles.” Phil said suddenly, sounding mortified.
“Excuse me?”
“Beetles. Beetles everywhere.” He said again, and Dan started to connect the dots.
“Are there beetles in the bathroom?” he asked, a little amused.
“Yes! A million beetles all over the bathroom!” Phil squeaked.
Dan went past him to look in the bathroom, leaving Phil to stand by the doorframe.
Like Phil said, there were small, black bugs all over the walls and tiles. Even though not as many as Phil’s reaction would suggest.
He got out of the room and closed the door behind him, looking at Phil and by this point allowing himself to laugh a little.
“Man, this is just your luck.” He said, patting Phil’s shoulder sympathetically.
To his surprise, Phil didn’t laugh with him, didn’t even smile a little. He was usually the first one to make a joke about those incidents, the first one to call himself a living flop and move on. But this time he looked genuinely upset by the situation.
He dropped his towel on the floor, leaving himself completely naked and covered his face with his hands, groaning loudly.
Dan thought he might actually start crying.
“Hey, Phil, it’s okay. Loosen up!” Dan tried, rubbing Phil’s shoulder some more.
Phil’s head shot up then, glaring at Dan with pink eyes.
“I can’t loosen up! That’s what the bath was for. And now I’m stressed, traumatized and can’t ever take another bath in my life!” he dropped his head to his hands again, shaking it from side to side.
“I’m so tired but I can’t really sleep because my mind is going a thousand miles an hour and I just wanted to soak in a warm bath for an hour and listen to some music and read Buffy comics and then go to sleep. Why is this too much to ask for?”
His voice was small and whiny and Dan felt a little guilty for letting this go on for so long without noticing how much it was effecting Phil.
“Aw Philly come here,” he said, pulling on Phil’s hands to make him show his face and then pulled him closer to his chest for a hug.
It was a little strange hugging a wet, naked, Phil when he was completely clothed and dry, but he didn’t think too much about it.
Phil melted a little against him, not fighting Dan’s hold on him at all. Dan let his hands rub Phil’s damp back with wide, circular motions, trying to calm him down.
Phil slumped just a little to fit his head under Dan’s chin, fisting the front of his shirt and groaning a little again in frustration.
“What can I do to make you feel better baby?” Dan asked.
They didn’t use terms of endearment often, both found it a little awkward and forced at times. But sometimes, in the right mood, it just came natural. Especially since Dan knew that secretly, Phil was very cheesy. Loved sappy words and nicknames when the situation called for it.
And Dan was definitely weak for sad blue eyes and pouty pink lips, willing to do anything to make his boyfriend feel better.
“What will make you relax?” he continued, moving one hand to Phil’s hair, scratching his scalp, feeling Phil move a little towards the touch.
“I don’t know,” Phil grumbled, letting go of Dan’s shirt and wrapping his arms lazily around his waist, leaning all his weight on him.
“Do you want me to make you something tasty to eat?” he asked.
Phil shook his head. “Not hungry.”
“Not hungry? Must be a real crisis then,” he teased gently, pinching Phil’s side a little just to emphasize he was joking.
“Shut up,” Phil said, but to Dan’s relief he could hear a smile creeping up to the corner of Phil’s lips.
“Do you want to watch a movie?” he tried something else, only to feel Phil’s head move from side to side again against his neck.
“Do you want to go to bed and try reading a book?”
“Can’t concentrate, too many thoughts.” Phil said and Dan tightened his hold on his body, kissing the side of his head.
He could feel the curves of Phil’s body against him, could feel the smooth skin of his back beneath his fingertips, could feel Phil’s soft cock pressing against his thigh.
“How about...Me helping you feel good? Taking your mind off of everything?” he said, bending a little to kiss Phil’s exposed shoulder. Phil shivered a little under his lips, but didn’t answer.
“Mm? Would you like that? I’ll do whatever you want.” He continued, his lips still pressed to Phil’s shoulder.
Phil kept quiet for a while, and Dan was about to suggest something else when Phil finally spoke in a small, timid voice.
“Only if you want to,” he said.
And it was so much like Phil to worry about something like this in that moment. To worry that Dan was only doing this because Phil was upset and not because he wanted to.
“I wouldn’t have suggested it if I didn’t want to, now, would I?” He said, but got no response from Phil.
Dan drew back from him a little, cupping Phil’s face with his hands and leaning in to leave a lingering kiss against Phil’s lips.
“I wouldn’t,” he said, smiling at him reassuringly and moving his thumb to press against Phil’s bottom lip, making him smile as well.
“Okay.”
Phil pressed close to him again and hid his face in Dan’s neck, making Dan almost coo.
Dan let him hide for a moment, let him cling and nuzzle Dan’s neck before pulling back from him.
“How about you go to the bedroom and lie down for a few minutes? I’ll be right there.” He instructed, kissed Phil’s temple before pushing him gently away from him and towards the stairs.
Phil went willingly, smiling at him one last time before making his way up the stairs, still completely naked.
When Phil was out of sight, Dan opened the bathroom door and stepped inside.
He hated bags, usually more that Phil (even though he could understand how distressing it must have been for Phil to see them everywhere during his relaxing bath).
But still, he ignored the uneasy feeling he had and made his way to the tub, pulling out the plug and emptying it, making sure Phil didn’t forget to close the tap in his rush to get out. The last thing they needed right now was a leak or a flood.
He got out and closed the door (as if it would stop the bugs from getting out from the room to the rest of the house) and made a mental note to take care of it later. He could spray them, or call the exterminator tomorrow.
Right now he had more important matters to attend to.
He made his way up the stairs and to the bedroom, finding Phil lying on the bed, like he told him to do.
He was lying on his front, his exposed pale body on display for Dan to admire. His arms were tacked under his face and his long legs and back were spread out on the grey covers in a way that made Dan feel his chest tightening and his cock twitching.
Phil barely acknowledged Dan’s presences in the room, only wiggling his toes a little at him.
Dan walked over to him, sitting on the edge of the bed and reaching out to massage Phil’s back a little, earning a content sigh.
He bent down, kissing between Phil’s shoulder blades and letting his head rest there for a moment, cheek pressing to Phil’s damp skin.
“What do you want me to do?” He asked, still rubbing Phil’s tense muscles as best as he could from this position.
“What will make you feel the best right now? Help you relax?”
He knew Phil didn’t like asking for things in the bedroom. Got flustered and embarrassed way too easily. Which in Dan’s opinion was silly, because Dan was probably willing to do anything Phil would ask him (to an extent of course).
Phil moved a little under him, and Dan leaned back to let him turn around to his back and face Dan, head turning to the side, blinking at him with tired, blue eyes. Dan settled comfortably by his side, lifting his feet up from the floor to the bed, knees touching Phil’s.
Phil’s cheeks were pink and his lips a little parted and his eyes glossy and tired. He reached out and traced Dan’s cheeks and nose and eyebrows, still not saying a word.
“Do you have anything in mind?” Dan asked again, letting his fingers wonder to Phil’s soft belly and draw patterns on it. Phil only shrugged in response.
Dan pushed himself a little up then, moving to hover over Phil’s body, one leg going in between Phil’s.
He leaned down and kissed Phil on the lips, slow and deep, just like Phil liked it the most. Lazy, lingering movements with just little bit of tongue.
Phil was pliant under him, soft and willing, letting Dan take the lead with this one.
Dan broke the kiss and moved his lips down from Phil’s cheek to his jaw.
“Do you want me to blow you?” he asked, his lips brushing Phil’s skin.
Phil shrugged again, and Dan could feel his skin heating up under him. Phil wrapped his arms loosely around Dan’s back, moving them up and down a little, and Dan took it as encouragement to keep asking.
“Do you want me to ride you?” he tried something else, trailing his lips down to Phil’s neck, feeling him craning it to give Dan more room to work, but shrugged again.
Dan sucked a little on Phil’s warm neck, careful not to leave a mark. No matter how pliant and willing Phil was at the moment, he would certainly give Dan hell about it tomorrow when he’s out of this mood if Dan would leave a mark.
“Do you want me to rim you?” He asked, and could feel Phil’s body shiver a little, arms tightening their hold on Dan’s back. No shrug.
Dan chuckled a little, kissing down to Phil’s collarbone before lifting his head up to look at Phil’s pink face.
“Ding ding ding, he have a winner,” he said jokingly, delighted by the way Phil’s face managed to get even pinker.
It wasn’t something they did often, at least not that way. Phil got really anxious and nerves sometimes, and when he got like that he couldn’t even properly enjoy himself.
But other times…well, Dan knew for a fact that Phil really, really loved the feeling of his tongue inside of him.
And now, Phil looked a little shy, a little sheepish, but so so turned on.
He looked absolutely delicious under Dan’s body. His hair was still damp and he was flushed down to his chest and his pupils were so dilated and Dan just wanted to eat him up.
Lucky for him, that was just what he was about to do.
He leaned down again to take Phil’s bottom lip in between his own, sucking on it and earning a quiet moan from Phil.
He started moving his hips then, slowly rocking them against Phil’s, pushing his thigh more firmly between Phil’s legs and feeling Phil gasp into his mouth.
“Gonna make you feel so good,” he said lowly, right against Phil’s lips, and Phil whined a little, lifting up his hips from the bed and starting to push himself against Dan’s thigh in the search of more friction.
Dan let him keep doing it for a few minutes, wanting Phil to be as gone as he could so he wouldn’t overthink anything. But when he could feel Phil’s movement starting to get faster, could feel his own cock painfully hard in his tight jeans, he pulled back a little, ignoring Phil’s protest.
“Turn around,” he instructed, getting off of Phil’s body completely to let him do what he asked and to get his own jeans and shirt off, automatically letting his hand press against his hard cock for some relief.
Phil wasted no time following Dan’s request, settling on his front again.
Dan got back to the bed, sitting on his knees behind Phil, reaching Down to trace a line from Phil’s neck down his back and stopping at his bum, squeezing it for good measure.
“Bend your knees for me?” he asked, helping Phil push up his butt and bend his knees under his body, leaving Dan with the lovely sight of Phil’s hole.
Dan could feel that Phil was a little tense in the new position, could see his back and leg muscles straining. He knew Phil didn’t really like to feel so much on display, especially when he couldn’t see Dan’s face. But Dan was definitely going to make this worth his while.
“You look so pretty like this,” Dan praised, leaning down to kiss one of Phil’s butt cheeks, and then biting it with no warning, earning a yelp from Phil.
“Relax baby,” he whispered, rubbing Phil’s sides for comfort when Phil’s body remained tense.
“I just want to make you feel as best as I can, yeah? We can do something else if you want, everything you want.”
Phil took a deep breath, releasing it slowly.
“No, I’m fine, sorry. I want this, if it’s okay.” His voice was soft and warm and a little shy and Dan felt his chest so full of love he was afraid it might actually explode from the feeling.
“Of course it’s okay, whatever you want.” He said again, kissing Phil’s butt cheek one more time before reaching for their nightstand, opening it and taking out a bottle of flavored lube they had bought for occasions like this.
He lubed up his fingers, rubbing them to heat them up a little, before pressing them to Phil’s hole, circling it a few times to let Phil get ready for his actions before pushing one finger in slowly.
Phil’s body was used to this part, didn’t even resist to the intrusion of one finger.
“You good?” Dan asked, just in case, moving his finger in and out of Phil’s hole slowly. Phil pushed back on his finger a little to make it go deeper, humming in response.
Dan took it as a cue to push in a second finger, slowly and not too deep at first. At this point Dan could feel some resistance, stopping his movements to let Phil get used to the feeling.
Phil took a deep breath, wiggling his bum a little. “it’s okay, keep going,” he said, relaxing around Dan’s fingers.
Dan resumed his movements, pushing his fingers deeper now and with purpose. He curved his fingers, in search of Phil’s sweet spot, knowing immediately when he found it.
Phil’s whole body spasmed and he let out his first real loud moan of the night.
“There you go,” Dan said softly, a little cockily, pleased with himself.
He kept it up for a while, wanting Phil to get desperate. Pushing his fingers in an increasing pace right into the spot that drove Phil wild.
Phil was whining and moaning and pushing back on Dan’s fingers. But when Dan bent down, this time letting his tongue circle around his fingers and Phil’s rim, Phil’s whole body shuddered, and he let out a noise that even took Dan by surprise, making him retrieve his tongue and stop the movement of his fingers.
“No no no don’t stop,” Phil was chanting, whining, pushing against his fingers to get Dan to keep going.
And Dan was so incredibly turned on, he felt like he could have climaxed only from the noises Phil was making, from the sight of him so desperate and pleading for Dan.
He wanted to say something. Tease or praise, anything really, but he couldn’t find his voice. So instead, he took pity on Phil, starting to move his fingers again and leaning down to lick against Phil’s hole.
He scissored his fingers, trying to loosen Phil’s hole as much as he could before pushing his tongue inside beside them, licking against Phil’s walls.
Phil all but screamed at the feeling. His hand found its way to his cock and he was moving it desperately while pushing against Dan’s face with force.
Dan tried to keep up. Tried to push his tongue as deep and he could while pushing his fingers right against Phil’s prostate, letting them massage it for a few seconds a time instead of pushing them in and out, knowing that the feeling was really intense, but one that Phil absolutely loved.
He let his tongue alternate between licking persistently inside of Phil and pushing it in and out of his hole.
Phil was getting really close now, Dan could tell. His breathing was erratic and his hand on his cock was losing its rhythm and all his mouth could form was pleads and cries of Dan’s name.
So with one last effort, Dan grabbed Phil’s hip with his unoccupied hand and pushed himself as deep as he could inside of Phil, working his tongue and fingers as fast and as purposeful as he could.
Phil came with a shout, releasing all over his hand and the sheets under him.
Dan worked him through it, slowing down his actions gradually until Phil was done, slowly pulling out of him, and letting Phil collapse on his front.
Phil was breathing heavily, and Dan was so desperate for his own release he let his hand go straight to his own cock, pushing it inside his pants and feeling an overwhelming feeling if relief.
He let out a loud moan, moving his hand up and down himself, feeling already close to the edge.
Phil perked up at the noise, craning his neck to look behind him, looking at Dan with sleepy eyes and making a small noise of disapproval.
He got up then, suddenly, pushing Dan’s hand away from his pants.
He pushed Dan back, turning his body and trying to make him lie down against the headboard, pushing his pants off his body completely. Dan went willingly, thinking that Phil probably wanted to give him a hand job himself, or maybe even a blow job if he was lucky. But was really surprise when Phil straddled his thighs instead, moving up a bit so that he hovered over Dan’s hard, red cock, reaching behind himself and holding it against his entrance.
“What are you-“ Dan’s sentence was cut off when Phil pushed down on him without warning, both of them moaning at the feeling.
Dan’s hands shot automatically to Phil’s hips, steadying him on top of himself. Phil’s hands were on Dan’s shoulder, and he used that leverage to start pushing himself up and down Dan’s cock, setting a fast pace right from the start.
Dan was in heaven. Phil’s hole was swallowing him, taking him so well and all he could do was lie down and enjoy it. He knew Phil must be really overstimulated. Knew how sensitive he got after an orgasm, but something about Phil pushing his own boundaries, even a little, to make Dan feel good, was incredibly hot in his eyes.
He was so close. Was close already from the second his tongue touched Phil’s hole. But when Phil leaned down, resting his body on top of his and kissing his shoulder and neck and cheek, whispering “let go,” in his ear, Dan couldn’t stop himself anymore, coming buried inside of Phil.
Phil was chanting in his ear, but he couldn’t really hear it. His blood was pumping in his head and his heart was racing and he felt like his orgasm was spreading through his entire body.
When he finally felt like he could focus again, at least a little, he could hear Phil’s voice saying “I love you I love you I love you,” again and again and again in his ear, kissing his cheek and jaw and neck.
He wrapped his own arms around Phil as tight as he could, holding his to his chest and kissing his shoulder and head and every part of his body he could reach.
“I love you so much, that was amazing.” He finally said when he found his voice again.
“Have to live up to the branding,” Phil answered cheekily. And it was little bit silly, but such a Phil thing to say and Dan just wanted to hold him closer, to hug him tighter, even though it wasn’t really possible.
Phil pulled back then, lifting himself up from Dan’s softening cock, whimpering a little before flopping down again beside Dan.
“Are you okay?” Dan asked, turning to his side to face Phil, tracing his face with his fingers.
Phil took a hold of Dan’s hand against his face, bringing it to his lips and kissing every finger before nuzzling his cheek against it and smiling at Dan with sleepy eyes.
“Are you kidding? Just had the best orgasm ever. You’re like, the best person in the world.” He said, inching closer to Dan and burying his face in his neck.
“You deserve a medal or something,” he added, hugging Dan by the middle and kissing his neck a few times.
Dan chuckled.
“Is that so?” he asked, wrapping his arms around Phil and pulling him closer, kissing his forehead, sweet and lingering.
“Mnm.” Phil hummed in response.
They were silent for a few moments, letting themselves soak in the closeness and content.
“I need a shower, I have cum leaking out of my ass.” Phil said suddenly, and Dan chuckled in response.
Phil was only this relaxed, this unfiltered, after a really great orgasm. And Dan couldn’t help but feel a little proud of himself.
“But I’m too comfortable,” Phil added, a slight whine to his voice. “Don’t want to move.” He rubbed his head against Dan’s neck and chest, tightening his hold on Dan’s body.
“Well,” Dan said, staring to draw patterns on Phil’s back. “You can always go take a bath.”
And Dan couldn’t even be mad at himself when Phil pushed harshly on his chest, telling him to piss off and turning to face the other side. He couldn’t, because it was funny and it wouldn’t be them if they didn’t laugh at each other’s misfortunes, lightheartedly of course.
And besides, he was pretty sure Phil found it funny as well. At the very least he wasn’t too upset, because when Dan moved closer to him, spooning him from behind and laughing into the back of his neck, he didn’t push him away. He just called Dan a jerk and shuffled to be closer to him, mumbling under his breath about filling Dan’s pants with a million beetles in the morning.

CONfabulation 2017
This weekend, I had a wonderful time at CONfabulation, a multi-fandom convention by the people who brought us Wincon. As always, it’s hard to adjust to real life again after several days of being a fangirl at the height of excitement and being uncensored around/among my people. So I thought I’d write it up while the experience is still somewhat fresh.
I headed out on Thursday morning a little earlier than I’d planned. There was a Penguins game that night and the hotel I was heading to was next door to the hockey arena in Pittsburgh, so I was worried about parking. Google said it would take me 4 hours to get there.I left at 10:30am and made it there at 4:45pm; I’m not so sure, but that seems like a little more than 4 hours. But it wasn’t all the fault of traffic or the weather. I did make one wrong turn and had to pay a toll for a road I didn’t even go onto (Grr!) but I got there without too much difficulty, especially once I left Northern Virginia. I was traveling alone this time, as my con friend was unable to get off work, which meant I could stop for snarfs I saw on the side of the road along the way. I earread Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer by Rick Riorden during the drive.
When I got to Pittsburgh, the traffic wasn’t all that bad, but it was FILLED with Penguins fans. As a Capitals fan, it was a bit stomach-churning to witness. Luckily, the hotel had self-parking spots available. So I checked in and then unloaded, realizing on my last trip that I’d left the giant bag of food I’d bought at home! Arg! I settled into my hotel room within two minutes (I never really unpack much). My room had a giant space in it (where another bed or a table once was, I assume, or else it was for playing Twister).
I headed down for the meet & greet and ended up sharing two fandoms (Carry On and Grantchester) during small fandom speed dating. I also wrote down several fandoms I now definitely need to put on the high priority list. Then I joined a few people who were heading out to a 7-11 in order to stock up on food. We learned a lot about Pittsburgh City Center during our exploration including: streets are layered, hilly, and confusing; alcohol cannot be purchased at 7-11, and all stores close ridiculously early. I stocked up on some protein bars, bananas, and cereal for the week, then we ventured out to find an open liquor store. Three stores later, we found one that was still open (it was 7:15pm). I also found a good handful of historical markers; my new friends helped me spot them.
We got back to the hotel and I knew from the sight of the downstairs and the streets packed with Penguins fans that I didn’t want to go back out (besides, everything seemed closed). So I spent the night in my room watching Doctor Who episodes, writing fanfiction, reading Outlander, and eating room service. Every so often I checked the hockey score and, when the Pens unfortunately won, the streets outside my hotel room exploded with noise. Ugh. Not where I wanted to be, that’s for sure.
I had a rough night sleep-wise, so I was glad to have my Always Keep Fighting hoodie to snuggle up in Friday morning.
Friday Morning Schedule:
10:00am–10:30am Dealer room I hit the dealer room and bought a few presents, items for future swaps, and something for myself. I also picked up the custom order I made from NightengaleNeedles for a pillow. It turned out so nicely! I had to run it back up to my room so that I wouldn’t fall asleep in panels with it. heehee
10:30am–11:00am Opening Ceremonies Yay! We made it here!
11:00am–12:00pm Buffy the Vampire Slayer: 20 years Later Panelists started by playing the theme song, which definitely got us in the Buffy mood. We had a good time talking about our favorite characters, moments, and episodes as well as discussing the uniqueness of the show itself. It was wonderful to find there were quite a few Spander shippers there, including among the panelists. We all pretty much agreed Spike is the fandom bicycle, but we meant it with love of course. I also liked the discussion about how the show highlighted the concept of inventing yourself and that change is possible without losing your friends.
12:00pm–1:00pm Plushie Workshop I We had to start from scratch as bodies weren’t pre-made, and deciding what to make took me a while, but this was a much needed fun crafting break up in the Quiet Craft room that happened to also be on my floor of the hotel.
I headed out with a new friend to find Jimmy Johns for lunch. After walking in the wrong direction and stressing about time, we ended up at a pizza place on the other side of the block from our hotel where several con attendees were also eating. I had a veggie hoagie, which I ate while walking back to the con and finished during the next session.
Friday Afternoon Schedule:
2:00pm–3:00pm Ohana Means Family This was the found family panel, and we started off by trying to define found families (does joining an existing family like Harry joining the Weasleys count? do they have to have a parental figure?). I adored the discussion of non-human species (like werewolves) who have a sense of otherness already who need to seek out others for a shared experience (I love a good wolf pack). We also discussed the many different ways they come about—choice, workplace, survivalism, world-saving, etc. Other discussion topics included how fandom is our found family, subsets within families, the greater diversity in a found family compared to biological family, how people with different skill sets help each other, and if there are any found families lately without tragic backstories. You get a tragic backstory! You get a tragic backstory! Look under your chairs, everyone get s a tragic backstory! I was THRILLED to get to talk Sense8 for a while! Squee!
3:00pm–4:00pm A Galaxy Far, Far Away We started off by sharing our own Star Wars origin stories, and it was neat seeing the diversity in the group (and also finding others who like the Ewoks). We talked about ships and ships as well. I’m clearly going to have to properly make my way through the Darths and Droids Webcomic. And we ended with discussion of The Last Jedi (SPOILERS!!!!!!) including how even though Finn is wearing Poe’s entire outfit it doesn’t necessarily indicate that Poe is naked, though there is a strong case for such.
4:00pm–5:00pm Vid Show The vid show was wonderful; I’d seen only two of the vids before (and as one was Leverage with my OT3 and to an Ingrid Michealson song, I certainly didn’t mind seeing it again). I was utterly destroyed by Darcy’s SG-1 Jack/Daniel vid entitled “Living Alone” and had to break out the tissue pack almost at once. So good!
As I had no one to do dinner with, I worked on my plushie a little and then went back to the only food place I knew was open and ordered a salad (healthy) and onion rings (my weakness). I sewed through dinner and got the body done (even though I had to reinforce the crotch better after stuffing him).
Then I got ready for the masquerade. I wore my Marauder’s Map dress with Marauder’s Map pin on my badge, Marauder’s Map bow in my hair, and the actual Maurader’s Map as a necklace. (I maybe like the marauders a bit, you know) I also had a black mask I bought with the cape I wore to the Walk to End HIV a few years back when the theme was superheros. I discovered upon arrival that I had taken the masquerade title too literally and I was only one of a few who had masks. Still, it went with the outfit and made me feel a little bolder to be hiding behind a mask, so I kept it on. There was a mashed potatoes bar and a dessert bar as well, and the decorations were wonderful. I had a lot of nice conversations with people, including getting to geek out on Classic Who (and ask some questions about it… and get some lovely audiobook recs) and catch up with one of my favorite fellow hurt/comfort writers. I don’t like dances much and attempted to retire to the fandom lounge for button-making with friends like last Wincon, but it was locked up. Drat! So we headed back to the dance. I did dance to the Time Warp, because that one has scripted dance moves. And I danced to the last song with everyone, which was Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” (so perfect, though were were a little iffy on which verse was which LOL).
Oh, the movie never ends It goes on and on, and on, and on … Don’t stop believin’ Hold on to that feelin’
I went back to my room after the masquerade and worked for 2 hours on my plushie while watching Doctor Who. I finished up watching the Fifth Doctor’s episodes! I also discovered I cut the underwear too small for my plushie. Then I went to bed at 2am.
I got up at 9 in order to eat breakfast and get down to the dealer room as soon as possible.
Saturday Morning Schedule:
10:00am–10:30am Dealer’s Room My friend put in a request for merch and I was hoping to squeeze it in before the morning panels. However, the dealers didn’t all get there early, so I ended up missing half of the first panel. I also dropped a few BookCrossing books on tables in the fandom lounge to give away. Worth it, though. The dealer had the thing my friend wanted AND I ended up buying things from pretty much all the other dealers. Good start to a morning indeed!
10:30am–11:00am Disability in Media A LOT less angry and complainy than most of the disability panels I’ve attended at other cons. There was a lot of talk of positive examples and analysis of things. That was refreshing to hear. I’m sorry I missed the part where they discussed Bashir because, I mean, Bashir, right?
11:00am–12:00pm Invisible Unicorns I had the HARDEST time figuring out this time slot. It was up against Book Recs for the People (I adore books) and Totally 80s Toons (possibly my only chance to talk about my first fandom with people: Pound Puppies). I asked the panelist heading from Disability in Media to Totally 80s Toons to please NOT discuss Pound Puppies because missing such a discussion would break my heart. Then I stayed in the roundtable room for Invisible Unicorns, where we talked about bi, ace, pan, etc. representations in fandoms. The session was so well attended we had to keep grabbing more chairs. LOL It was wonderful. I came out with a LOT to think about. We talked about the whole “prove it!” thing and the problematic usage of “born this way.” One thing I had never heard put into words before was how there is a shorthand for sex onscreen but no shorthand for things like asexual romance (YET!). There were also some hilarious moments i.e. “Once you cross the het barrier at knotting…” “That is NOT where the het barrier is.”
12:00pm–1:00pm Plushie Workshop II I was considering going to MCU, but I’m behind on S.H.I.E.L.D. and haven’t seen the second Guardians yet, so I decided to craft. I had big plans: Finish the head, make new underwear, make the suit jacket, sew the head on to finish it. I managed the first 2 of 4. I made the suit jacket then discovered it’s just a little too small. Drat! I’ll have to redo part of it. But it was definitely another nice break. Except now I have what looks like a headless Morman and not a Ianto Jones yet. One lovely attendee brought a ton of little figures, and we had fun going through them, sorting them by property, and selecting a few. I got a couple for myself and one for a friend. At the end of the day, after everyone else had a chance to look through them (and they were no longer sorted) I took a few more.
I worked on my plushie through lunch (thanks to snacks from 7-11) then headed to afternoon sessions.
Saturday Afternoon Schedule:
2:00pm–3:00pm OT3: A Love Story We listed our favorite OT3s in fandom (Leverage, Force Awakens, White Collar, Haven, Marvel, Sense8, etc.) I ship some very rare OT3s so I didn’t bring them up (Wolverine/Iron Man/Captain America; Sherlock/Watson/Lestrade) but it was fun hearing about other people’s ships. We discussed why OT3s are the best (solves love triangle problems, avoids ship wars, solves problem of killing off awesome female characters). We also talked about dynamics of OT3s (relationship negotiations–swoon!, soulmate AUs, imperfect moments, overlap with found families, inviting someone to join, etc.). And, of course, this lovely quote “My fandoms have orgies all the time” which pretty much sums up my writing style. LOL
3:00pm–4:00pm Fandom as Genre This one was interesting, and I’m very glad I went. What’s unique to fandom that makes it its own thing and makes it special? Some topics of discussion included: ability to have different versions of the same character, ability to have different settings/situations with the same characters, ability to explore minor characters, having less exposition (already know the shared universe, history, appearances, etc.), POV differences, how much of the community aspect is needed to make it fanfiction, the difference between authorized tie-in novels and fanfiction, why we write fanfiction (for ourselves or for a certain population that knows certain things already about the source material), what we’re allowed to write in a fandom vs. what is taboo, how A/B/O originated in fandom, and the concept of headers/tag wranglers. Some quotes I liked included “Fanfic is the only place characters go into the bedroom and come out as the same people,” “We need to make supernatural disgusting again!” and “We’ve come a long way from ‘we’re not gay, we just love each other.'” There was also a question raised regarding what is at the core of a character that makes him recognizable and feel like the same character when everything around is different?
4:00pm–4:30pm Charity Raffle The charity was Planned Parenthood, and people were generous both in the donating of items and in the buying of raffle tickets. I bought $40 in raffle tickets, so I was expecting to win a few things (especially as a few things I put tickets in for only had one or two tickets in the cup). I didn’t get the Ace scarf I really wanted and put a lot of tickets in for, but I did get a bunch of things, including a Martha plushie (who can hang out with Ianto, once he’s done–the Joneses!), tons of comics (including some Archies, Buffys, Marvel, and more), a Donatello figure (he’s my turtle), a Spider-man hat, and some gorgeous fannish jewelry. I was also super happy to see the items I donated to the raffle go to people who will love them. One super nice new friend gave me something she won in the raffle and had two of. Squee!
After the raffle, I bought a few things from the other vendor I hadn’t purchased from yet (I’d frankly been avoiding her booth because I wanted every single thing she had for sale and didn’t trust myself). I ended up with a few buttons I’d never seen before and a super soft Kaylee Bear. I thought about also buying the Jayne Bear, but I just couldn’t do it without a Simon Bear to ship with him. #noregrets.
A few of us stayed in the fandom lounge to finally take advantage of the button machine. Making buttons was one of my favorite parts of Wincon, and it was fun to have one of my button-making friends back as well as some new button-making friends joining the crew. We had a great time going through stickers and magazines, looking for things we wanted. I made a kickass perfect RuPaul button that is sort of now my favorite. I also made an Alexander Hamilton button and a kitty King George button to go with him. And some others, of course. We were at it for a little over 2 hours. It was such fun seeing the creative things people made!
I had just enough time to pop over to Jimmy Johns (found it this time!) before it closed (it was only 7:20, mind you!) and get back to the con in time for the trivia contest. I’d planned on just watching, but I got roped into playing. Glad I did; I even knew a few of the answers, like what century Outlander was in. However, I feel SHAME forever for saying “Flashverse” instead of “Flashpoint.” I will never shake off that shame. I was proud to be able to answer the question about all the Weasley siblings (including next generation) and probably could have done the hockey siblings one, but two people on my team JUMPED at that, so I let them have at it. I’m also sad I couldn’t remember the names of the Hansons! Terrible fangirling on my part; I’m just not good at remembering things when there are time constraints! In all, we had a great team and we came in second… though later I heard we misgraded another team’s paper and actually came in third. Just like the Puffs play says “Third or nothing!!!”
After trivia was Badfic Idol. My fic “Five Times Something Happened and One Time Something Else Happened” was read at the beginning. It was my first attempt and it didn’t win first place or even second. But it did get some laughs. And my friend appreciated the Picard on a Horse inside joke from Wincon I threw in there. Actually, 80% of the fic was thought up during Wincon a few years back, so it was fun to share it. Instead of the judges giving their thoughts after each fic like last time, they gave them all at once at the end, which was a little more confusing, but we got there in the end. The winning fic had no words and was written only in emojis starting with policeman knife fireman and ending with sailboat. I mean… sailboat, you know? That’s a damn powerful ending. Definitely deserved to win! It was a great event; all the stories were hilarious; I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. And the judges’ comments were amazing!
After Badfic Idol, I stuck around for a game of Cards Against Humanity. I actually won a round, which was great. I played some fantastic cards but just the one win. Everyone was bringing their best to the game, and it was definitely a hoot.
I headed back to my room and packed up so everything would be ready the next morning.
On Sunday, I woke at 8:45 sleepy but fine (one nice thing about never drinking is not worrying about con morning hangovers). I finished packing and, once again, headed to the dealer’s room for a morning purchase. I had forgotten a button I HAD to buy a friend and, luckily, there were still a few left (in various styles). Score! I’m not posting the photos of things I bought for people, BTW, because that would spoil the surprises.
Sunday Morning Schedule:
10:00am–11:00am The State of Fandom I had to ask but, yes, everyone agreed that LJ is DEAD. Someone suggested Pillowfort, which is like Tumblr only fixes all the problems Tumblr has and lets you have actual conversations. Someone else suggested Pinboard for bookmarking. We talked a lot about building our “brands” and the differences between us oldtimers and the new internet generation in terms of privacy concerns. We also talked about things like how releasing whole seasons at once erases that anticipation we once had for week-to-week shows, how there used to be a fannish code and norms that get passed down but are being challenged now culturally, and how freakin awesome Fanlore is.
11:00am–12:00pm Hamilton: Who Tells Your Story? We started off talking about race and how it puts so many marginalized groups back into the narrative of our country. Then we went into discussions about gender (how women are in the war scenes and how it’s kind of Eliza’s story, or would be if she were in it more). I loved the point one person made about how in Revolutionary War times, a person’s writing style was uniquely identifiable just the way the musical styles for each character are uniquely identifiable for us today in the musical. I was shocked that more people hadn’t read the Ron Chernow book, and I was going to recommend it for people who write Hamilton fanfic, but then the discussion moved on (it’s filled with amazing details like the fact that Hamilton & Eliza had a dog named “Old Peggy” and how Washington’s aides usually shared beds at camp). But we did talk about how the American narrative actually wasn’t as rose-colored as we thought and how the musical humanizes history. Some recommendations included the book Colony in a Nation by Chris Hayes, the Stuff You Missed in History Class podcast, and a Sleepy Hollow crossover where Alexander Hamilton comes forth into modern day and is stuck here. Also, I was given a rec that has Asexual!Dom!Washington and subby!Hamilton that is currently my favorite Hamilton fic EVER!
12:00pm–1:00pm Family Affairs: Incest in Fandom Was great to end the con with a good ol’ incest panel! We talked about our first and favorite pairings. I asked about Bates Motel because I LOVE me some Bates Motel and was told the fanfic is not good, which wasn’t too surprising. We also talked about what makes incest fic good and the different kinds (I’m in love with the term Gencest now!).
1:00pm–1:35pm Closing Ceremonies I had to leave during the closing event, because of my hotel checkout time and because I wanted to get home before it got too dark, but it was nice being there for part of it. And people waved to me as I left, which made me feel all warm and fuzzy. The con com did an amazing job putting this together and making it special and unique. I really hope the next Confab Con is somewhere close to me so I can attend it!
On my way home, I attempted to find some postcards of Pittsburgh to send to people and struck out everywhere I looked. I picked up a grilled cheese with onions and some more onion rings (did I mention I was driving home alone?) as well as a frozen slushie drink at Sheetz. My GPS wanted me to go one way that was blocked off with a detour, so I took the scenic route out of Pittsburgh and quite enjoyed the drive. Then I ended up on 40 heading to a big snarf stop I’d seen when I was driving up but couldn’t stop for because I’d been worried about Penguins game parking. I finished earreading Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer and put on In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson by Bette Bao Lord, which I also ended up finishing on the drive. So then I started Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson.
I found the historical markers (snarfs) I’d been looking for and discovered it was General Braddock’s grave. Just down the street from that was Fort Necessity. I thought about just doing a drive-by with it and coming back some other time. I even went into the park, drove around the lot, and then went back to the highway again. Then I decided to just do it and went to the fort. I was still on a Hamilton high, and what better way to end my con weekend but with a George Washington fuckup? The park ranger was sad to inform me that the reenactments were all done for the day and that there was only one showing of the film left; I didn’t really care about either. I went through the museum and headed out to the fort. Apparently the Braddock Road by my home is, actually, the very same one I’d been driving on for an hour up in Pennsylvania. I snarfed all the signs and took some nice shots of the fort, the tavern, and the monuments. Hopefully no one thought less of me in my wearing my Hamilton/Harry Potter mash-up t-shirt.
I found a few more historical markers on the drive home, stopped for gas in the little town that literally has an interstate running right through its middle just above it, and got home around 8:30. My cats were happy to see me, and Ozma kitten has already claimed my CONfabulation bag as her own.
CONfabulation 2017 was originally published on The Fangirl Project

least favorite thing about the fandom?
the willow’s bi/willow’s a lesbian discourse. LEAVE WILLOW ALONE!!
i’m probably gonna tag some people who’ve already done it but um... @angelandfaith and @bisexualbuffy. also @bisexualcordelia, @bisexualbvffy, @bluehura, @buffster, @demandingbillydolls, and @faithandbuffy

The “Getting to Know You” Tag Thing
I was tagged by @ultra-despair-weeb, and as grateful as *I* am for that... I have a REALLY hard time tagging over people because I always feel guilty about asking anyone to do these kinda chain things...
But anyways!
Rules: Tag 9 people you would like to get to know better
Relationship status: Married (I’m as shocked as you are)
Favorite color: Orange
Pets: Two cats and four fish
Last song I listened to: Ummm honestly probably “Dead or Lie” because me = Danganronpa nerd
Favorite TV shows: Of forever or like right now? Because I don’t really watch TV anymore. But forever? I’d include Batman: The Animated Series (and EVERYTHING ELSE in the DCAU, really - Superman, Justice League, all great), Agent Carter, The Future Diary, Danganronpa anime (of course), Angel, The X-Files, uhhhhh I know I’m forgetting more important ones...
Hobbies: Video games, movies, following news on what’s coming up in both, sometimes comics too.
First fandom: Oh lord... uh... when does something constitute a “fandom”? Is it when you write fanfic for it, when you own a lot of merch, when you first get involved in online discussion, or like, what? I mean, I could probably list cartoons from my childhood that I was utterly obsessed with and had a ton of merch for, but my first online communities/fanfics were for “Sliders” a little bit after it ended and “Buffy” towards the end of its run... so probably that era
Books I’m currently reading: Re-reading some Danganronpa light novels :-/ uh-huh, yeah, no surprise.
As for the “nine tags”? Well, I don’t know if I can even come up with nine right now, but if @zatroopa ,  @korotrash , @rantarou-amami , @eggseggseggseggseggseggseggseggs , @shsl-meh or  @yomotsu-hirasaka-12th wanted to do it, it’d be cool. And if not, DEAR LORD do I understand why you wouldn’t want to.
Or maybe they already did and I just don’t know because IS THERE SOME WAY TO FIND THESE POSTS? I don’t see any unifying tag at all. Fneh.

About Firefly Drinking Songs for Browncoats #237
Firefly is one of the most beloved projects from the mind of Joss Whedon, the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It came out in 2002 and was canceled after only 14 episodes. It developed such an incredible cult following that in 2005, a movie was released based on the TV series. http://celtfather.com
The show inspired me so much that I released a CD with Bedlam Bards called Firefly Drinking Songs. Now I have a new album out for Browncoats called As Long As I’m Flyin. You can buy it at FireflyDrinkingSongs.com.
How did Firefly go from a cancelled TV show to a new album 16 years after it was released? I’ll tell you all about it right now.
I was first introduced to Firefly just a few short months before the movie was released. I remember binge watching DVDs. I absolutely loved show. It had a realness to it that appealed to me, despite being a Sci Fi Western.
Firefly became my all-time favorite show ever. It hasn’t budged from that standing. I still watch it regularly.
I don’t consider myself an ambitious songwriter. I don’t write a lot of songs. I write slowly and I am usually “inspired” by something. I never planned to start a genre of Firefly drinking songs. It just sort of happened.
In 2007, I was on the first Brobdingnagian Bards tour of Ireland. I got an email from fan telling me there is a songwriting contest called Sing A Song for Saffron.
Saffron was a nefarious woman who was featured twice in the series. She first appears in "Our Mrs Reynolds" where she sneakily marries the captain of the Firefly ship, Serenity. She then attempts to seduce him. When that fails, her true purpose is revealed, leading the crew to their deaths to steal their ship.
Saffron appears again later in the episode "Trash." She works with the crew to steal a famous laser gun. She attempts to double cross the crew only to find they are ready for her.
Beautiful and seductive, Saffron is a favorite side character.
So there I was in Ireland when I get an email from a fan that read, “you should write a song for this contest.”
I was immediately struck with a parody idea using the traditional Irish melody “May Morning Dew”.
I submitted my song “She Said Her Name Was Saffron” to the contest a week after returning from Ireland. The song won the Best Parody award.
A few months later, I sang that song for The Signal Firefly Podcast for a live event at DragonCon.
I had no further plans to write more Firefly songs. But a year later, I was driving Back to DragonCon when I was struck with an idea.
I had just finished watching the episode "Jaynestown." The crew lands on Higgins Moon, a town that sells mud. The crew is hired to transport contraband off planet. One of the crew, Jayne Cobb, warns about how he had trouble with the local magistrate a few years back. We soon learn that Jayne has become a folk hero of the town with a statue and his own protest song “Hero of Canton”.
That song is a favorite among Browncoats. Everyone of us longs to have a mug of mudders milk and sing along. But as I was driving back to DragonCon, I wondered what other songs might’ve been heard in that little pub in Canton. So I wrote one.
The song was called "Monahan's Mudder's Milk". I wrote it as a sort of Woody Guthrie-style protest against the challenges faced by the mudders of Higgins' Moon.
This song was super important to me. First, because it sort of solidified what would eventually become my most-popular musical niche, Sci Fi Drinking Songs. But it was also the launching point for Firefly Drinking Songs and my newest album, As Long As I'm Flyin'.
It was around this time that the idea of recording a CD of Firefly Drinking Songs began. I set up concerts at Gen Con and Dragon Con dedicated to this theme. Each show was packed. The conventions were turning people away at the door.
The atmosphere at these shows was amazing. I really wanted to capture that feel. So I decided on recording a live CD. I wanted it to feel like you were in that little pub in Canton.
My biggest challenge was I didn't have enough songs to create an album. So I turned to someone who did.
The Bedlam Bards were the first to release a full CD of Firefly music. It was called On The Drift: Music Inspired by Firefly and Serenity. The album captured everything that people love about Firefly and the fandom. It's fantastic.
Cedric is the primary songwriter for the group. When I called him up to ask if he'd like to make an album with me, he was psyched.
We spent next few months performing Firefly Drinking Songs at various venues and conventions trying to capture an amazing live recording. It finally happened at church in Round Rock, Texas that my friend Jan Czenkusch booked for us. It had the energy, the sound. It was fantastic.
We released the CD. It quickly became one of my most-popular albums.
Once again, I had no plans for a follow up. I was trying to get out of doing themed CDs. Most of my 20+ albums are themed. Some are Irish. Some are about cats. Some are sci fi. While themed CDs are easier to sell, they are much more difficult and costly to produce.
So when I wrote "Bring Me Home, Boys", a song based on the episode "The Message" where a body is mailed to the crew with a message to bring his body home to his family, I didn't put on a Firefly CD. Nor did I put the song "Browncoats Keep Flyin'" one one. That's a song I co-wrote with Rie Sheridan Rose. Though I did put it on Sci Fi Drinking Songs. Again, I had no real plans to record another Firefly album, despite its success.
But one year at Gen Con, I was singing "Close Your Eyes". This is a song by Daniel Glasser. Many call it the "Demon Lullaby". I have a whole podcast episode about that song. Follow the link in the shownotes.
In the middle of the song, I changed the lyrics to the "reavers beneath your bed are gonna eat your face". The crowd erupted in laughter and for the next few years Browncoats asked when I would put that song on a CD.
In 2016, I set a milestone on Patreon. If I reached that goal, I would record a 4-song EP of Firefly songs, exclusively for my Patrons. I quickly hit that goal. But as I started recording the EP, more songs came out. So I asked Rie Sheridan Rose, a long-time songwriting collaborator to send me some more lyrics. She did.
Next thing I knew, I had a full album of Browncoat drinking songs. I launched a Kickstarter and the rest is history.
Now one of the things I sort of glossed over earlier is the Firefly Drinking Songs show. This show took on a life of its own. When I started, I was just singing songs about Firefly. But I wanted something bigger. I wanted something more inclusive.
You see, I have long been a part of the reenacting shows. Mostly notably are Renaissance festivals. At faires, you're encouraged to not just play music, they want you to be a part of the atmosphere, to recreate the Renaissance.
Early on, I absolutely LOVED faires for that very reason. I could pretend I was in the Renaissance.
But the simple fact is I'm not an actor. So keeping that going ALL DAY LONG was a bit exhausting and tedious. So I took on a new character, that is basically me.
I think that's why I love the Firefly Drinking Songs show so much.
I don't usually write music ABOUT things I love, like Firefly. I prefer to write as if I'm a PART of the world. Firefly is the epitome of this. The music I wrote was as if I was living in the Firefly 'Verse. The show was created as if I was a touring musician singing songs for Browncoats.
The show is about an hour long. With any luck, the one at Gen Con this year will be about an hour and a half. But for that period of time, it's easy to get and stay in character. So that's why I do.
My family is all from East Texas. So I put on my Texas accent and step into a world where people are on the fringe of civilized society. They're looking for an escape. They want to hear music that celebrates the independents who lost the Unification War. They want to escape the hard life of working in the mud pits.
For an hour, they are a part of that. We sing songs about the "Hero of Canton," "Blue Sun," reavers and the Browncoats. It's absolutely incredible.
It's been 16 years since Firefly was started and canceled. Yet new Browncoats are made every day as they discover this incredible show.
One of my dreams is to take the Firefly Drinking Songs show on the road. I want to unite Browncoats once again for a Shindig among Shindigs and an inspired passion to keep building the 'Verse. Because to quote Mal, "we have done the impossible, and that makes us mighty."
If you're interested in my new album, As Long As I'm Flyin' or the Firefly Drinking Songs show, please visit FireflyDrinkingSongs.com. You can buy the album, listen on Spotify, find cool merch, and learn more about the show. I'd love to hear about your favorite episode or character. You can post that in the shownotes.
I should point out that the physical CD will only be available in March. So if you like CDs, then you should order it as soon as possible.

1:Apart from tumblr, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m a gamer, so I do a lot of that. I also work in a shitty retail job and I volunteer at the Scottish Deer Centre so I spend a fair bit of my time with the animals there. Other than that, I write, see friends and family. You know, the usual stuff.
2:Name a favorite of each: food, drink, color.
Food: Curry. Any curry really.
Drink: Hmm... I don’t know, I drink a lot of blackcurrant and apple juice though
Colour: Red
3:If you married rich and your spouse gave you $100,000 a week, what would you spend it on?
Damn I don’t even know. Games, books, clothes. Someone wanna give me that much just so I can see what I would do?
4:Name a favorite of each: book, movie, tv show.
Book: I couldn’t possibly choose, but at the moment, probably the mortal instrument books.
Movie: Erm.... Oh, I’m really rubbish at these. I love Nightmare Before Christmas and Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Oh and Interview with the vampire and Marvel films. So yeah, I can’t have a favourite.
TV show: At the moment, I’m binge watching stranger things, but Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Fullmetal Alchemist will always be top. Along with Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead (though this season is a bit slow).
5:If you were given the opportunity to spend 48 hours with absolutely anyone (living or dead), who would you spend it with and what would you do?
That really depends on the day, but I would love to spend some time with my grandad. I don’t have many memories of him.
6:Name a LEAST favorite of each: food, drink, color.
Food: Veg. Like almost all veg.
Drink: Coffee. I had an ex who would drink it each morning and it disgusted me to kiss him.
Colour: Brown. Like... Who likes brown?
7:What do you spend most of your money on?
Honestly, food and alcohol.
8:What kind of underwear do you prefer wearing?
Umm... I dunno. The comfy kind?
9:Name a LEAST favorite of each: book, movie, tv show.
Book: I don’t think I have one, but anything from Tolkien can get draining to read.
Movie: Horror. Any horror film and I’m a pathetic terrified mess. Not my thing.
Tv Show: South Park. I just don’t get it.
10:If you were sat on a plane beside your favorite celebrity, what would you do?
Make lots of inhuman noises and try to convince him to have life changing sex with me.
11:What is the strangest thing you have in your room? (You are not allowed to explain why you own it.)
A hockey puck
12:What is a weird habit you have, or people have told you have. (Weird, not bad. No nail biting or any of that nonsense.)
I need to put my left sock or shoe on first.
13:What would you consider to be the biggest insult to yourself?
Like... To be given? Or like an insult to my existence? Cause that would totally be stupid people
14:What are five things you absolutely have to have in your dream house?
A library. Without question, a library.
A cinema room.
A pool.
An office for my writing and all my creative nonsense like my dress making and cosplay.
A bar.
15:If you could be reincarnated as any animal, which would you chose and why?
A wolf, because they are fucking awesome and my favourite
16:Which band (current or past) would you want to go on tour* with? (*Travel with, not preform with.)
My Chemical Romance or Linkin Park
17:Name a favorite of each: band, album, song.
Band: Linkin Park or My Chemical Romance
Album: Hybrid Theory or The Black Parade
Song: In The End or Famous Last Words
18:Why is your favorite band your favorite?
I grew up with Linkin Park, as its one of my mum’s favourites and I have so many happy memories of singing along in the car on the way to school, and of seeing them live in Dublin with my mum.
My Chemical Romance were a massive part of my teens and still are. Their songs helped me through so much awful times and still make me sing my heart out and dance.
19:How many concerts have you attended? Which was your favorite? Least favorite? If none, who do you want to see live the most?
About 10 or so? My favourite was Linkin Park or 30 Seconds to Mars. Least favourite is probably HIM. They weren’t great live.
20:What is one of your favorite song lyrics? (Who is it by?)
“Don't try to fix me I'm not broken.”  Evanescence
21:Who do you ship?
RoyEd is my main one, but I have like... one in almost each fandom. Just ask and I’ll let you know.
22:What band merch do you own? If any, whose is it and when did you get it? If none, whose do you wish you owned?
Tshirts mostly. I do have the drumstick of Daniel Whitesides (drummer of The Used). I have Linkin Park, The Used. Bullet for my Valentine, 30 Seconds to Mars, Marina and the Diamonds, HIM. I’ve probably forgotten some.
23:How did you learn of the band that is currently your favorite?
Linkin Park - through my mum
My Chemical Romance - through a friend
24:What celebrity do you idolize the most?
Emilia Clarke probably. The woman is perfect.
25:Which member from which band would you most want to lather in nutella?
Since Jason Momoa isn’t in a band I’ll need to for Jared Leto

these ones are actually pretty good
1. What do you plan on doing with your life a decade from now? I purposely don’t plan that far ahead. I don’t even know what I’ll be doing tomorrow.
2. Do you support abortion? Yes or No? Give your reasons. Yes, because it’s not your fucking business what someone else does with their own damn body.
3. Do you support euthanasia? Yes or No? Give your reasons. Yes. If you’re terminal and suffering and quality of life is terrible and getting progressively worse, why should the pain continue? Also once again, nobody’s fucking business except the person in question. Not even their family. Because if someone you love is in pain and/or dying, why would you want to perpetuate it?
4. Would you rather go back in time or remain where you are in terms of the time of your life? I don’t want to go back in time, I just want to go back geographically.
5. Do you like the school you’re going to? Yes or No? Give your reasons. I haven’t gone to school in ten years.
6. Who was your favourite Disney princess as a child? Okay first of all. I hate Disney. Like hate it. But I absolutely love Pocahontas and she is the only Disney Princess that matters.
7. How do you manage your finances? What do you normally spend it on? And what would you do with your savings for the future? My husband pays household bills, I buy groceries. Then I spend the rest of my money on whatever I want. But now that I have a new job I have to start making my own car payment and try to contribute to the house fund.
8. Do you still live with your folks? Haven’t for six years.
9.  What do you crave for for desserts? Cheeeeeeeesecake.
10. Who are your style icons? Alex Gaskarth and Johnny Rzeznik circa 1993.
11. Would you rather die by fire or by ice? Fucking neither because they both take too much time.
12. Do you believe in an afterlife? Nope.
13. What do you fear most about death? That nobody will miss me.
14. Favourite countries and cities in the world. I’m a shitty middle class white person who only likes America, and my favorite city is Nashville.
15. Extrovert or Introvert? Introvert.
16. Do you own any pets? Four cats.
17. Last movie you watched? Did you enjoy it? I don’t watch a lot of movies, mostly shows. Last movie was called The Road, it had Liam Neeson, who I don’t like, and it sucked so bad I quit halfway through.
18. Where do you normally shop for clothes? Walmart and Goodwill because I’m fucking cheap and don’t care about clothes as much as I do the three Ms: makeup, music and merch.
