I was watching Bess's gig at the festival and noticed that Matti and Etel were next to me but behind a covered up fence (you know so people couldn't see artists or other vips if they wanted to watch each other's shows)
at first I didn't even see him but Jere was also there covered in a hoodie and a cap and sunglasses so less people would recognise him, but then HE noticed ME next to him and smiled and said, 'hey you have a Käärijä shirt', and I said 'yes! but I already got rid of my flower crown' and that he has a nice cover-up and he laughed
and I was like I don't want to bother you but could you PLEASE be so kind and sign your setlist I got at Ilosaarirock, and he said of course, and he did and DREW A LITTLE HEART ON IT and I said thank you so much, you're so lovely and HE HELD MY HAND and smiled and I said, see you in Kaivohuone and he said we will and we said have a nice night to each other
and at the same moment Bess started playing Ram Pam Pam and I've never danced so passionately to a song in my life and my heart feels like it's going to explode
[Ouran but somehow a User Child, from @occupationallyhazardous
The kid was young. Younger than Beowulf had been when Ed adopted em. Closer to a toddler, really. He found the kid curled up asleep in his office chair that morning, and by no fault of his own, the kid had startled Ed when he came into his office, purely by the fact that he was there, in the first place.
Even more startling was the fact that he looked so much like the baby pictures of his father that were hidden in the attic of the old family home.
The note left on his desk said his name was Ouran.
Ed sighed. What was he supposed to do with a toddler?
...Make sure the kid had a better childhood than his had been, he supposed.
Ed scooped Ouran into his arms, and considered for a moment. He could afford to take time off. Mackey could chew on his computer's power cord, for all he cared. He sat down at the computer with Ouran in his lap just long enough to send out the emails necessary to cancel any meetings that had been scheduled for the day, then left the tower, cradling Ouran close to his chest.
...Beowulf was supposed to be flying in tomorrow. Ed was going to have to figure out how to introduce em to eir brother.
Ever since the PM days, they’ve both had the same bloody weakness. No matter how stone cold Dazai acts, or how calm and rational Chuuya tries to make himself seem, it’s completely useless.
They’re both down bad for adorable animals.
ESPECIALLY, adorable baby animal videos.
They both just straight up melt at the sight of a baby bunny or llama, or these tiny little goats just trottin’ along, it’s almost frightening. They both just mutually agree that weekends off will mostly be spent watching cute animal videos and just fawning over them in their own weird little way.
Also, the Flags totally used this to their advantage once to convince Chuuya to go along with another severely questionable bonding activity of theirs. Just like;
Chuuya: I’m not doing shit with you guys.
Pianoman: We’ll take you to the animal shelter down the street if you do.
Albatross: You get to pet the babies.
Iceman: They’ve got a new litter of puppies, too.
Chuuya:....let’s get this over with already-
AND ALSO
ODASAKU AND ANGO
I totally believe Ango has an emotional support cat or something, and he took it to the bar once while it didn’t have to do it’s job and just-
Dazai would not stop snuggling that little thing. He would NOT let it go, they had to pry him off the cat after a while.
Ango would then occasionally bring the cat when Dazai isn’t having a good day, and it unofficially became Dazai’s emotional support cat as well. Like, stress relief cuddles for the win.
All in all, that’s the only semi-known weakness of Double Black. It’s very hard to take a duo of murderous teenagers seriously when they’re awing and petting any precious baby animal they can get their hands on.
Russian Robin tripping out of the house and collapsing face first in the first snow, while a sleepy Nancy follows after her and almost has a panic attack when she sees Robin laying there in just her pajamas.
