Beasthawk headcanons:

Randall is from a wealthy socialite family in Baltimore, Maryland. At the age of five, he was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. He always did very well academically in the elite private schools his parents paid for, and went on to doubled majored in engineering and paleontology at John Hopkins University. Randall’s parents sent him to be treated by Hannibal Lecter when he was 16 for his identity disorder. Hannibal taught Randall how to hide his symptoms, and encouraged his homicidal ideation. Hannibal treated Randall for two years until he was 18 when he left home to go to university. He’s currently 27 years old and working at the Baltimore Museum of Natural History. When he is working there alone at night, he likes to take the skulls and claws of apex predators home so he can recreate them using stronger materials for his mecha kill suit.

Randall also has dissociative identity disorder, and his other personality is The Beast. He can’t control when The Beast takes over but he needs the mecha suit to feel like his body matches his mind or else he starts having a nervous breakdown.

Matthew doesn’t like to talk about his past. His biological parents were physically and mentally abusive. Even at the age of 29, his chin scar still gives him bitter flashbacks to his childhood when he looks in the mirror. He was taken into a several foster homes and group homes starting at the age of seven. He studied various specialities during his adolescence because of the time spent with different foster families (information systems technican, basic nursing skills, explosive ordnance disposal, culinary arts, etc). However, Matthew never lasted more than a few months in each new home because of his behavioral problems. He was 15 when he had his first stint at a mental institution where they officially diagnosed him with antisocial personality disorder (APD).

Matthew Brown is not Matthew’s given name. He has had multiple identities and has been using forged ID documents to find work ever since he was 18.

Depending on which canon divergence I feel like exploring, Matthew is either still in love with Will Graham but also has feelings for Randall or he hasn’t met Will in the canon yet.

They like to go hunting together for both humans and animals. Matthew brings his tranquilizer gun, and once their prey is immobile he enjoys watching Randall tear them apart.

After some coaxing, Matthew convinced Randall to get matching tattoos of a hawk encircling a cave bear on their left biceps.

Matthew loves to listen to Randall talk about engineering and prehistoric animals for hours. Randall’s low monotone voice makes him feel calm.

One day, Randall found a stray tortoiseshell kitten in a dirty alleyway in Baltimore. Matthew is more of a dog person but Randall looked so ecstatic that he let her stay. Randall named her Smiley (after Smilodon).

NSFW headcanons:

Matthew is always covered in bruises because when The Beast fucks him it’s always rough with a lot of biting.

Randall typically likes to bottom for Matthew when he is not The Beast.

Infodumping/venting about the lack of Mashle fanfics on most fanfic platforms

WARNING: This isn't a vent. This is a mashle fanfic idea dumpster fire with MANGA SPOILERS.

I'm so heartbroken discovering that there is barely any mashle x oc content out there even x readers or character x character. I have so many tiny plot point ideas for a Rayne/Rain x fem oc/reader. Which resulted in me beginning to write my own oc, Darren Randel. Her name's stolen from my random ass mha oc Darren Halston. Darren Randel is lowkey different (she's less edgy/and emotionally unstable) even though they both have brown hair.

PLS TELL ME IF YOU'RE GONNA STEAL OR GET INSPO FROM THIS PLS BECUZ I WOULD LIKE TO HELP.

What was the original plot idea you may ask?

Infamous girl from rival school transfers to Easton Magic Academy because she fell in love with Rayne Ames lol.

Lowkey unoriginal right?

So then I added an extra spin to it borrowing a key romance drama plot point from See You in My 19th Life: Darren only gets 3 chances to confess and have her feelings be reciprocated by Rayne, and if he rejects her feelings. She'll give up (on that romance).

The ending of the fanfic is bittersweet: She doesn't get Rayne. But they stay close friends.

OH BUT HERE'S WHAT I'M TRYNA FIGURE OUT TO ADD MORE OF THAT BITTERSWEET FEEL TO IT:

1. Darren confused her initial crush on Rayne to be love at first sight/romantic feelings when she actually felt like she had a friend/that sense of trust in him compared to others.

1a. As a result of that she kind of decides to nullify all her chances of getting him.

1b. Regardless of this plot point she still ends up developing actual romantic attraction for Rayne and still doesn't get her feelings reciprocated.

2. It turns out that Rayne ALSO developed feelings for Darren over the course of the fic but he still rejects her advances due to either:

a. Her newfound realisation that she confused her feelings of attraction for something like companionship or trust. (1a)

b. His new position and role as Divine Visionary and the fear that she would be in more danger than she already was. (For context: her former school Walkis has so much beef with her existence for the 4 ish years she was there that they want her erased from existence and the Bureau of Magic is extremely alert about her whereabouts due to that and her skills which will be explained in the OC Profile section below).

c. Typical fears of a dude who for most of his life before Easton was seen as a nuisance alongside his younger brother Finn. (Big headcanon.) Doubt he cares/he probably would shove in the aristocrats face if he was dating her honestly (fake dating plot point???)

Being able to cast them with ease compared to more typical and unlethal spells. Her speed at casting these spells were unmatched during her time in middle school.

Personal Magic: Impart - Darren’s magic essentially allows her to balance out either magical power, strength, and weaknesses between her targets (living and non living) or with herself. It’s essentially cheating at life. The magic is highly confusing due to the fact that she doesn’t have to chant the words to the magic and its essentially treated as a debuffing magic (which is wrong because she aims to fight everyone on fair terms).

Impart Zero - It dispels a spell.

Impart Seconth: Impartial Vice - Instead of deducting and balancing their power, like a water dam. Water is added to balance both sides.

Summon: Themis (Goddess of Justice) - When summoned, the user’s wand transforms into a dull sword whilst Themis appears with blindfold with a scale in hand

Themis Inclination - Themis appears and buffs her attacks’ range but she rarely utilises this due to how lackluster it was against Rayne (ineffective) and other people

Impart Thirds: Divine Mercy - It’s essentially renders its' target a painless death. It's an instant kill move.

Impart Thirds: Divine Tears - Unlike Divine Mercy, this one's pure torture. (To be developed later) (Tears of Themis reference?)

Wandless Casting: Her aptitude to cast magic without a wand has earned her infamy and wanted death since she enrolled into Walkis in middle school. It has also made her wanted by a few subdivisions of the Bureau of Magic, namely Magic Talent and Magic Research Administration.

Immense Speed: Exactly what running at 4am, and doing marathons before starting class does.

Immense Endurance: Due to the fact she does running as a hobby, her stamina/endurance in terms of speed/running is more than decent. She can withstand advanced offensive spells typically used by the police.

Equipment:

Basic Wand - She prefers to not wield a wand though finding it too rudimentary for her purposes, hence many assume she cannot unleash her secondth and thirds magic (to which she has). It stays in her cloak mostly.

Infinite Storage Fabric - Lining her uniform’s robe it has the ability to store anything it can consume within its’ own subspace. She stores majority of her items in it. Even though it’s mass doesn’t change due to how many things there are, it still is a heavy fabric. It will help fish out whatever the user who is currently wearing the cloak wants to have.

Resistance bands - She carries it around to do some exercise. Especially when she’s in the kitchen

Thick Rope - She carries this around as well but its to apprehend anyone she sees.

Photo album of Rayne Ames - She carries this with her at all times alongside a self printing camera. Don't worry, she gets permission to take the pictures.

Family/History:

The Randel Family while not aristocrats or anything, take pride in their magic aptitude which is a recent cut above the rest. Born as a two-liner magic user, she was put on a pedestal with unwanted attention, which is why she has a hime cut to hide her other mark. Her parents treat her like a trophy child and place their expectations on her.

She’s an only child but has an extensive selection of uncles and aunts 5 each. But she prefers her grandma over everyone else.

She had a tendency to break her wands while practising magic as a kid. Due to this her family/parents decided to just stop supplying wands (cuz it was costly) which resulted in her adapting the way she casted magic spells without the use of a wand. During her entrance exam into Walkis, she was ridiculed for not having a wand and got into trouble while getting the highest score of her batch in terms of magic.

Soft Steve x Reader Headcanons:

When you first met, he wasn't very interested and tried to push you away.

But you were persistent and eventually he warmed up to you.

After about a year of knowing eachother you started to date.

It took about 3 months for him to start showing his soft side.

OHHOHOHO YOU DON'T KNOW THE CAN OF WORMS YOU JUST OPENED

When it comes to Donny and Nick, if they hate, tolerate or love each other in any given interaction is a crapshoot. And they may not even feel the same way and then feelings get hurt. Which makes the crapshoot less of a crapshoot because it narrows the next interaction down to just hate.

When they love each other they're super friendly with each other and joke. They act like brothers. Nick mostly refers to Donny as "That bastard of a little brother". Donny in a good mood calls Nick "That dickwad of a older brother".

When they tolerate each other it can very easily swing to love or hate and there's no affecting it. Band practice, as a result, can be very, very dangerous.

When they hate each other, they can not stop arguing. They physically can't because someone will say something and they both are not able to leave things alone. They're infuriating.

The band deals with that either by getting popcorn (Jimmy usually has some), earmuffs (Wayne's method of choice), drinking into a stupor because they aren't going to do anything (Davy clearly), getting a magazine (Julia) or playing the drums loud enough to not hear anything (Johnny).

But to answer your question for real, I have so many headcanons. About her life, her personality, her family... Even alternate universe headcanons okay... How do I even begin about my beloved?

Parents Gleb and Margaret (they suck okay, we hate them)

She has 5 siblings, the oldest being born in 1979 and the youngest in 1991. (I know all about them too, but I'll spare you.)

They all lived in a trailer park outside of Chicago. (maybe near Cicero? I don't know Illinois well) She shared the top bunk with her younger sister Tess.

They're a religious Ukrainian orthodox family, poor but steady.

She's a little fashion designer like Mickey lol, cutting up her older brother's old clothes, thrifting and sewing.

She's such a 90s girl omg, clips and big earrings

Her brother gets all the special treatment, the younger kids are too young, so Laura's doing the cooking and cleaning, looking after "the boys".

She's a good Christian Girl.

Some idiots at school call her "love c*ck" and unhook her bra when she goes by. She starts smoking cigarettes sometimes.

She travels over an hour to a party in Chicago, July 4, 1993. She's feeling like Cindy F*cking Crawford. I want to reiterate she's 11, her birthday isn't until September. That night she meets Terry, who is 27.

This is horrifying, obviously. It does not stop. Terry calls her "Laurie".

April 1994 she finally has to fess up to her parents that she's pregnant, and they kick her out. She goes to live in the Milkovich house, and doesn't go back to school. This is a whole thing too, but we're speed running here.

Terry was not there on 10 August 1994. She was in a lot of pain, with Terry's sister Randelle, and she was terrified. But she loved Mikhailo Aleksandr with her entire heart the moment she held him.

Laura also became the mom of several other children. She grew to love them as if they were from her own flesh. Joseph, Colin, and Ignatius.

The nephews too. James. Shane and Donald. Arsen. Still just a kid herself, but she was all this unfortunate and rabid brood of Milkoviches had most of the time.

(And— much later— the nieces. Sandra and Cicely.)

Joey, Zofia, Aleksy, Sammy, Lou, Marko, Mitchell, Moe, Tommy (Jesus, so many kids).

She's not a good mom. Of course she isn't, she's a kid! These kids are hungry and dirty and cold more often than not. Things are calmer when Terry is on a run, or on THE run, or in prison, but that's when money is the tightest. However, Laura IS a mama bear at heart and she loves fiercely.

She's as much of a product of Terry as Mickey and Mandy become. He teaches her how to drive a car, and shoot a gun. She has no positive coping mechanisms, a heightened reactivity to emotion, and her interpersonal dynamics are histrionic and intense. At this point she's a Milkovich in all but name, tearing out a girl's hair in chunks and breaking a guy's nose with her forehead. She's tough as nails.

In 1995, a month after Terry and Laurie’s anniversary, she suspected she was pregnant again.

Terry missed the birth of this baby, too. He’d been caught on drug possession.

Amanda Marichka was born April 24, 1996. The birth was just as hard as the first time. She fell in love just as quickly.

She was pretty pissed when Terry got back and immediately started calling their little girl “Mandy”. Apparently Amanda was just too much to say.

Terry asked her if she “wanted to get hitched” over a plate of hot wings during a commercial break a week after Laura's 16th birthday (1997). He's got a ring, and it's the nicest thing anyone has ever given her.

She puts Mandy in a backpack and carries Mickey and goes back to the trailer park for Gleb and Margaret's signatures. She's peeked at by her siblings, but they don't speak. Her parents signed freely, (Laura discovers her mom's affair with a neighbour) giving her the parental permission she needed to marry Terrance Milkovich. She wouldn’t see her family again.

Terry had a split lip and a black eye. He promised to look after her. They had a big party afterwards. The greatest rager of the 1990s South Side. They have a lot of parties.

Terry's abusive, obviously. We aren't surprised. Laura gives as good as she gets, though.

Life was harder after that. No job, no school. There was no escape from crying children or a filthy house. Laura saved up the money Terry gave her for groceries and bills, presents and clothes. So she can't really save money to run off with. She had no family or friends in the outside world to fall back on.

Drinking wasn’t good enough to numb the pain of her life. She got into heroin.

Early morning 13 October 2007, it's still dark, Joey finds Terry and Laura motionless on the sofa. He calls 911, because being 17 doesn't make you immune to finding your dad and step-mom dead on the couch. Timeline splits here, in canon the paramedics wake Terry up, and he surrenders the kids to CPS for a year to run drugs for a cartel.

On a happier note, Laura's a Gwen Stefani fan, and loves old sitcoms. She's bi. She's got a lot of ear piercings around her ears. She's got several tattoos, one of which is "1 Peter 4:8" on her rib cage. In a perfect world she'd have a lovely partner and two cats and no one would hurt her. Oh, and she's pretty good at picking locks and picking pockets. Tiny hands.

The thing about Randel’s curse is that he has to make it completely obvious he does value someone in a genuine and important manner (whether it be deep friendship, love, familial, etc). He’s currently toeing the line with Mikel but since his attachment isn’t 100% clear, the curse can’t kill him just yet (or that’s how he understands it). His hard to read and cold demeanor exists partly because of this loophole. If he isn’t easy to read, then it’s harder to find evidence of him actually caring.

I feel like playing the salesman (something low man I can't remember right now - WILLY LOWMAN) would be a great role for Neil later in his life. Especially if it's a Neil lived in the movie type story. willy most likely has dementia (or something similar) and throughout it becomes more obvious and his complicated relationship with his sons is revealed (along with an affair) and it's such a good role.

I have read many a essay of this play yet right now I can't remember anything but I do thing Neil would do a Shakespeare play at some point and it would most likely be a tragedy.

Macbeth at the end also has changed his personality - ambition is his fatal flaw - and this could just cause Neil to overthink everything cause ambition is such a big part of his life and he starts to worry what happened to Macbeth will happen to him (it won't cause you know Macbeth killed someone).

Neil - So I feel having Eric as an early role in his career would be nice. Eric isn't the best characters at least morally but it's somewhat a plot twist character

Keating - the inspector is him. Just the vibes. The inspector randomly turns up and at the end isn't revealed he isn't even a real detective. It's just mysterious vibes.

Okay so the original falsettos debuted in 81 so if Neil lived and got the part he would be roughly 40 - the age of the characters - and this would work perfectly (the sequel type musical - oh well it's a musical - came out in 1990). There's also that 2016 revival (with Andrew Randells) so yeah.

Oh and Ginny could be Trisha.

Hello Darkness, my old friend~ (Theory discussed)

DISCLAIMER: Even though I’ll be discussing a theory, I would like to point out, I do not hate this person nor their theory. I think it was a good quick theory that can help a lot of people do more theory and look for more info that they miss in the game and I respected, however, I do have a different opinion/theory of the same topic, so the author (aka @oag-abode) who made this theory, regardless if I agree with you or not (theories wise) I would like to apologize to any sentences that may offend you, that is not my intention. Also, this was LONG overdue because of laziness so, I apologize once again. Also, Also, This post will contain a lot of screenshots, so if you hate those, once again, I apologize. So anyway, I was surfing Tumblr for some KH contents where I found a theory that seems interesting You can take a look by clicking here if you don’t want to click it, the theory itself stated that whenever Sora turns into Rage form and his shadow disappears and the Author posted a screenshot where Vanitas stated and I quote “and I do stand by your side, I’m the Shadow that you case.” I think its an interesting theory, but I have a different theory. First thing first, we need to re-read Vanitas conversation before he disappears:

Now, before we go on discussing the conversation, I think we need to have a talk with darkness, Now, everyone (including myself) have known that Darkness isn’t all evil, its only evil if someone uses it for evil. but can we agree that Darkness can be very manipulative regardless of which darkness we’re talking about? What I mean by this is that whenever someone has the power of darkness or darkness as a whole, they usually manipulate and lie to someone to get their own gain.

and that's why I think Vanitas saying those conversations, he doesn’t actually consider them as brothers (at least in my opinion) I feel like he is just saying that, just so he can get them to their edge, similarly how he did it in birth by sleep

plus not only that but Like I say, darkness (regardless who using it) can prove that it can manipulate people so they can get what they gain. Just let how Vanitas wanted Ventus to be stronger so Vanitas will have a chance to forge the X-Blade in Birth by sleep And even in KH3 when he went to the Monster Inc world when he explains that Child scream can contain negative emotion, that he needs to grow stronger, but even then, he says this:

That why I think Vanitas calling Ven and Sora his brother is just a way to tick them off, he only sees them as tools, an “easy way” to get stronger. or as following cutscene explained when Vanitas mention Randell;

And that the Keyword for Vanitas, Taking adVANtages. (get it?) Now that we finally finish with that, that being said. Why would Vanitas help Sora to transform into Rage form? As Nomura once stated in one of his Q&A and I quote “The forms in this title are very different from that of KH2, so we decided to change all the names. Rage does indeed have characteristics that are reminiscent of Anti, but it's basically a separate thing setup wise. Anti is based on Sora getting completely stained in darkness, but Rage doesn't go quite that far. It's based on him going into a rampage state, controlled by feelings of anger“ Basically speaking that Rage form is controlled Anti-Form, but it's controlled by Sora anger. And I asked again, why Vanitas give the darkness to Sora where he can control it (by using his anger, but he still able to control it) and make him use it to advantages any fighting, Including the one against Xehanort, where he has purposely all of Sora lights and you have to keep damaging him to get his light back?  Because The unversed is different than heartless itself. Here a thing, we all know at Birth by Sleep, Vanitas the whole time, is the one who been sending the Unversed, and even joining in the new Organization, he still uses the Unversed power, thus the final Boss symbol in the Monster Inc world

Plus, here a thing though. If Vanitas DID give Sora his Darkness, wouldn’t he look like this;

That why I stated that I have a different theory (and another disclaimer, if you don’t like to read my theory, then for you this post end here, Sorry if I acted rude by any means) Now first thing first, just check Sora Rage form

Now as all of us can see, we can see that because of Sora turn into his Rage form, his shadow is gone, But when the last time when his Shadow is moving?

And if some of you haven’t caught on what I’m saying, Yes I am implying that Darkside is the one who been helping Sora and giving him his Rage Form  The first Evidence that I was able to find is that Rage Form Sora and Ansem have a somewhat similar power (maybe 2-3 power, but I was able to find 1) That one is when you use Riskcharger to it fullest and if you able to finish the finishing combo, Sora will grow tentacle from the giant void that's coming out of his chest/heart;

similarly with Ansem, if you let him charge up he gives a similar Power as Sora but Obviously has more darkness than what Sora can have, plus it's coming ALL over his body rather than his chest, proving that his entire body is darkness;

and aside from that, let's look at Darkside in KH3

Well, now before you guys say anything, Yes, Darkside used to be black thus this could be a way of showing off its “GRAPHIC” for the new peeps where if that the case, then Nomura would’ve also do the same with the Shadows (The name of the weakest Heartless)

but he didn’t; I think this is Nomura way of hinting us that Sora heartless Aka Darkside (since people kinda get the idea that Darkside is basically Sora heartless) is working together with Sora, but the only way for Sora to control it, is that letting him control it by using his Anger. And considering that whenever we see/face Darkside, for the most part, Sora is always the one that fought Darkside beside KH2 (I mean, I would comment Aqua since she faces like a BUNCH of Darkside, but most of the time Darkside has always been connected to Sora, even in Re:coded, they strongly suggest that Data-Darkside is Data-Sora Heartless, and if that is true, then we also have to make the fact that Darkside is Sora heartless is true too.) Anyway, I think that's all I can think of. If you have any information that can either debunk or improve my theory then please don’t be scared to tell me again it, including any info that I miss/forget. And as for the author of the Vanitas theory, if I do/say anything that may anger you, I apologize that is not my intention, I simply like to be part of your theory and state my theory since you got me thinking for AWHILE. So I think you for releasing that theory of yours.
