I just want everyone that’s following my process of building the Folkling save file to be prepared for the worst. I’m not 100% sure just yet, but the save file is acting funky. I don’t think it’s entirely corrupt, but one lot in particular is taking upwards of 10 minutes to load. I’ve done everything to fix the problem, even removing all the trees, only to have this issue persist. I’ve removed all my saves and started a new game, and the problem disappeared (w/ all my mods and cc included). So, it’s looking like it’s the save itself. Thankfully I have all my builds and sims backed up. I’ll let you all know what’s going on once I know more.

Don't take it out on others

A PSA addressing behavior that's often excused due to mental health.

We all have our issues, our bad days and bad periods, we have our problems and our frustrations, but despite all these thorns in our sides, it's never, ever okay to take it out on someone through passive aggressive behavior, name calling or any other rude approaches.

In these situations one has to address themselves, step back and breathe, find something to stimulate that part of yourself that's not doing well. Get some fresh air by opening a window to breathe, get a glass of water, lie on the floor for a hot minute and just relax. take a break, and ask someone if they can help you.

If you don't have someone you want to rely on or you're someone that doesn't want to bother anyone, write it down. Get it out somehow. but don't ever, ever think that it's okay to take it out on someone else, because it's not.

Stop "Selling" Systemmates

Hey, if I see you "selling" systemmates, consensual or not, I am going to whap you on the head with a rolled up newspaper. That sh!t is fucking YIKES.

You're "selling" PEOPLE, full fledged people, which, I don't think I have to spell out why that's so fucked up.

How the fuck do you "sell" a systemmate? I personally think system-hopping is a load of bullsh!t, and whoever is "selling" systemmates is using that belief to scam people. (No offense to spiritual systems who have those beliefs, but in this case, it's being used to scam people).

Making systemmates for the purpose of "selling" them is just... god, imagine how YOU'D feel if you were brought into existence, just to be sold to some someone you've never met.

Why the hell would you pay for a systemmate? Tulpamancy is 100% free. That is such a scam. I get selling services like setting up Pluralkit bios, commissions for systemmates, etc, but not this.

So yeah! If you're "selling" systemmates, stop it! Just stop. If I see anyone follow me who partakes in that sh!t, it's a block on sight.

The most batshit insane conspiracy theories, including one guy who sincerely thought the earth was flat,

All these posts about European identity and unity, which is so beyond fucking stupid because it actually erases cultural individualism more than immigrants and refugees ever could (and they actually don't want to!),

Christian Identity hogwash, ie f4scists who think white Europeans are the "real" Israelites, which once again is so fucking stupid because the historical Jesus of Nazareth was a brown-skinned Palestinian Jew,

An extreme dislike of Ben Shapiro - not because of his right-wing propaganda, mind you - but solely because he's Jewish,

Rock Against C0mmunism sk1nh3ads who've been listening to the same shitty bands for 30 years,

Many years ago, there was a popular "aesthetic" blogger here who was an open neo-n4zi, and when I made a post about the kind of horrible shit he was posting (with screenshots ), I got anon messages from his pathetic fangirls saying "I hope you get r4ped by N-words". I traced their IP addresses and one of them lived in the Nashville area. All I could do was tell them to go fuck themselves and block them.

Now we have so-called Leftists on Tumblr trying to claim certain noise/industrial bloggers here are "crypto-f4sh" just to ruin reputations while ACTUAL f4scist pieces of shit on this site get ignored. Fuck those kinds of virtue signalers, too. Get your hands dirty and look for the actual n4zi scum on this website and report them instead of harassing people who aren't awful.

PSA: There is no such thing as a "white Jew"

There are Jews who have European backgrounds and *some* of them have benefited from eurocentrism or being white passing, but in moments of crisis or need the social tides that create white privilege have never seen Jewish people as part of that group. Whiteness is a social category which has changed with time and attitudes and, at least for now, it has never and still doesn't include Jewish people.

Continuing to use the term "white Jews" is ignorant at best and harmful at worst. Even converts once converted are othered and can no longer rely on any previous white background to save them if they are identified as Jewish.

it may be obvious to some, but these sellers are buying sticker packs with stolen art from Temu and are reselling them for way more than they got them for. i have censored out their shop names as i don't want hate sent their way, but no one should be reselling people's art. i personally can recall some of the artists' art in the listings, but not their names.

if you happen to know any of these artists, please let them know! if you happen to BE one of the artists they're stealing from, i suggest you report the listing!

here is some of the listings on Temu that these people are buying from. DO NOT BUY THESE EITHER! these are ALL stolen art. unfortunately i don't know if you're able to claim that your art was stolen on Temu :( if you could, i'd imagine it's a hard process.

you could also say "what if the people selling on Etsy don't know that the art is stolen?" considering they bought it off of Temu, an app notorious for stealing people's art and selling low quality products, this is hard to argue. i personally think they know what they're doing.

there is also the fact that people reselling things they have bought for a more expensive price is common practice (maybe not good morally), but these listings also HEAVILY affects people who ACTUALLY sell THEIR therian stickers on Etsy. (AKA me and many other small therian bussinesses they have stolen from.)

if i ever find or am told about the artists that were stolen from, i will add links to their shops down here!

TLDR: DO NOT buy listings like these on Etsy (or Temu), they are FILLED with stolen art. please go support the actual artists who made these designs!

I figured out what was “breaking” my game, it was Better Build Buy from TwistedMexi. It’s not that the mod is broken per se, in fact it functions as it should. It’s just that it doesn’t play well with 40GB of cc. On top of the game loading all that content, it has to load in all the debug stuff, even if the option is turned off. While my load times are a tiny bit longer than what I’d like (40 seconds-ish), it’s leagues better than waiting 5 - 10 minutes for a single lot to load.
