BIOGRAFIA:

Diana nasceu em Harrisburg, Pensilvânia, filha de Ashley Summers, uma arqueira olímpica, e o deus Apolo.

Desde bem pequena, ela sempre acompanhou a mãe em seus treinos, competições e Olimpíadas das quais participava. Portanto, seu relacionamento com sua mãe sempre foi muito bom, afinal, Ashley era tudo o que ela tinha, e por mais que tivesse curiosidade em saber quem era seu pai, respeitava a decisão da mãe de só lhe contar sobre ele quando ela fosse mais velha e capaz de entender melhor as coisas. Enquanto isso, ela se contentava com a mãe lhe contanto histórias fantásticas sobre deuses e monstros. Com sua imaginação fértil, Diana sempre se imaginava como parte daquelas histórias como uma heroína, e se divertia muito aprendendo sobre um assunto tão fascinante.

Aos oito anos, sua mãe também passou a lhe ensinar tudo o que sabia sobre arco e flecha, e para Diana, foi amor à primeira vista. Uma coisa era ver sua mãe praticando com um arco para suas competições, outra, era tê-lo em suas mãos e assim que o pegou pela primeira vez, nunca mais o largou. Arquearia se tornou uma coisa muito importante para a jovem: além de ser algo que a ligava à mãe, também a acalmava e era a única coisa na qual ela conseguia se focar de verdade e gostava de fazer. Por muito tempo, ela achou que era a única coisa na qual ela fosse boa de verdade, porque na escola… bom, ela era um caso perdido.

Levou uma vida relativamente normal até os onze anos, quando as coisas estranhas que lhe aconteciam de vez em quando começaram a se intensificar. As histórias que tanto amava quando criança pareciam estar ganhando vida de verdade. Muitas vezes, ela jurava que podia ver coisas que as outras pessoas não podiam. E então, viram os monstros. E os ataques.

Nas primeiras duas vezes ela conseguiu escapar por pura sorte, mas no terceiro, quando ela tinha treze anos de idade, sobreviveu apenas porque estava com seu arco e conseguiu atrasar o monstro que lhe atacava com suas flechas, por tempo suficiente para um sátiro a salvar, e conseguir fugir em segurança. Foi depois desse incidente que ela finalmente soube de seu parentesco divino. Sua mãe lhe contou sobre Apolo e o acampamento meio-sangue, e lhe disse que lá ela ficaria segura. Por mais que Diana não quisesse se separar da mãe, concordou em seguir o sátiro que a salvara para pelo menos ver como era esse tal acampamento.

E assim que ela colocou os pés ali, soube que estava em casa. Foi reclamada como filha de Apolo quase que imediatamente, e não demorou muito para que ela se enturmasse com seus novos meio-irmãos. Diana também não perdeu tempo com seu treinamento assim que chegou. Podia ser uma péssima aluna para uma escola normal, mas aprendia rápido quando se tratava de qualquer coisa relacionada a ser uma semideusa.

Aos dezesseis anos, juntou-se às Caçadoras de Ártemis, o que por muito tempo a deixou extremamente animada e honrada. Ela amou a oportunidade de fazer parte do grupo e ainda por cima trabalhar ao lado de sua tia. Era a coisa que ela mais gostava de fazer. E foi assim por alguns anos, até que o desgaste da caçada lhe atingisse. Acabou deixando a caçada aos 24 anos, por uma soma de motivos, mas o mais importante, porque se apaixonou em uma de suas missões e percebeu que talvez não quisesse viver a vida inteira sem isso como antes pensava. Apesar de ter deixado as caçadoras com a permissão de Ártemis, sua saída não foi isenta de uma punição por parte da deusa. Diana notou logo na primeira noite que além de ter perdido a imortalidade, perdeu também a capacidade de usar seus podres durante o período da noite e, como sempre se apoiou muito neles, teve que reaprender a se virar com sua nova condição.

Por dois anos ela se virou praticamente sozinha. Lutou contra muitos monstros, ajudou muitos semideuses pelo caminho, até que recebeu a mensagem de Dioniso, e se viu de volta ao acampamento, um lugar do qual ela sentia muita falta.

HABILIDADE

PERSONALIDADE:

Ainda em construção, mas a Diana é uma pessoa calma. Não é do tipo que procura problemas, apesar de que eles parecem lhe encontrar com facilidade. Ela tem um humor fácil, está quase sempre sorrindo e é muito cheia de energia. Tensa ser simpática e amigável com todo mundo igualmente, e essa sempre disposta a ajudar seus amigos.

Mas ela também tem um certo problema de arrogância. As vezes, ela tende achar que é melhor que os outros, especialmente quando o assunto é arco e flecha, o que pode fazer com que ela se torne um tanto quanto competitiva. Quando ela fica brava/irritada, pode se tornar um problema. E as vezes, ela tende a se colocar primeiro, especialmente quando está com pessoas que não conhece muito bem.

Os poderes mais voltados para a cura de seu pai a erraram completamente. Ela não consegue se curar mais rápido e é uma péssima curandeira. Ela sabe se virar quando é necessário, mas não chega aos pés de muitos de seus irmãos.

Some quick tips to spotting accounts that are pretending to be a Palestinian needing mutual aid. Please keep in mind that not all of them are scam accounts, and that some may legitimate blogs who just aren’t too knowledgeable on how tumblr works. This guide is based around what I go by when checking certain blogs and usually it’s a quick giveaway the blog is a scam.

1. You was sent the ask as someone who regularly shares Palestine related content such as regular news updates of posts by other Palestinians who are regularly giving updates. You may also get these asks from sharing a popular post that is from the Palestine tag. If you post often about Palestine, you will always start getting these asks. These askers don’t care if you state don’t send the asks. They will anyway. Unfortunately minors also get sent asks.

2. The ask has odd formatting such as having odd quotation marks in it or unusual formatting that may indicate it’s been edited and copied from somewhere else. Often the ask is the same thing as the post itself minus a link to a donation site. These asks rarely change so searching it should pull up if it’s been sent to other bloggers and sometimes the asks are edited only to add new phrases to them in time.

3. The account is almost always a few days old or a week old or long depending on how often they have sent asks. Usually some may even be an hour old and reusing a familiar pfp/ask.

4. The blog has a few Palestine related posts or posts from random tags reblogged to pad out length and then no more. They will have no original posts besides the pinned post while occasionally answering asks that they may have received but otherwise nothing else and no further updates given either.

5. They may have a Linktree link that is called “GoFundMe” as if indicating they have a GoFundMe there. However, they don’t. When clicked on, the Linktree actually goes to a PayPal account whose name may not even match the one their supposed name is. They’ll say it’s a friend, but it’s just the same person not someone else. You’ll see this same name across multiple accounts after a while usually giving away it’s not legitimate even under a different theme.

6. The text used by the blogs are often real stories stolen from legitimate fundraisers and searching parts of it in your preferred search engine should pull up the sources. These sources make no mention of a tumblr account either or don’t have the PayPal account associated with them in the info. Scammers often impersonate a real person in need and will ignore you if you show them the source they copied from.

7. Legitimate Palestinians often link to their own GoFundMe posts that their friends have set up or post links to other social platforms they are found on. They will regularly post updates when possible, post sources to support them when necessary, and also generally have some method of verifying their legitimacy. They may often share links to support others as well or give links to charities that have been shown as reliable. They will have more original posts than just a single pinned one and regularly speak to other tumblr accounts beyond just an ask. Please don’t bother them with asks about possible scam accounts. There are many guides out there that can do that for you if you search. You may find verified fundraisers too.

8. Scammers don’t know anything about Palestine and will often have trouble once you ask them anything beyond the mutual aid post. They don’t know the languages decently and you can tell it pretty easily if you’re one who uses it regularly. Whatever the scammers use is often just copied off the site they got the post from. Sometimes the text is just reused from past scams such as asking for insulin that doesn’t last long.

9. These scammers can and will use names stolen off real Palestinians to look more legitimate and trustworthy. They change names constantly once one of their PayPal accounts is shut down.

10. If you do see a GoFundMe link on a blog, don’t immediately assume it’s a scam just because it’s a relatively new account. Check the post notes to see if anyone’s verified the account yet or wait a bit as it takes time. You likely can search around to see if anyone’s posted anything where the blog has been vetted by others. You may also see if the GoFundMe is referred to on other socials or on lists that compile verified and vetted fundraisers.

Please don’t let these scams deter you from sending support where it needs to go. Even if you can’t donate personally, there are other ways to help. If you are sending money, please make sure that it’s going to where it’s needed and the place it’s sent has been verified accordingly. If you find a blog is a scammer, and have been able to prove it, please make sure to alert anyone sharing the post and report the account.

Malware Update: What We Know Now To recap, here are the mods we know for sure were affected by the recent malware outbreak: "Cult Mod v2" uploaded to ModTheSims by PimpMySims (impostor account) "Social Events - Unlimited Time" uploaded to CurseForge by MySims4 (single-use account) "Weather and Forecast Cheat Menu" uploaded to The Sims Resource by MSQSIMS (hacked, real account) "Seasons Cheats Menu" uploaded to The Sims Resource by MSQSIMS (hacked, real account)

Due to this malware using an exe file, we believe that anyone using a Mac or Linux device is completely unaffected by this.

If the exe file was downloaded and executed on your Windows device, it has likely stolen a vast amount of your data and saved passwords from your operating system, your internet browser (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Firefox, and more all affected), Discord, Steam, Telegram, and certain crypto wallets. Thank you to anadius for decompiling the exe.

To quickly check if you have been compromised, press Windows + R on your keyboard to open the Run window. Enter %AppData%/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/UserData in the prompt and hit OK. This will open up the folder the malware was using. If there is a file in this folder called Updater.exe, you have unfortunately fallen victim to the malware. We are unware at this time if the malware has any function which would delete the file at a later time to cover its tracks.

To quickly remove the malware from your computer, Overwolf has put together a cleaner program to deal with it. This program should work even if you downloaded the malware outside of CurseForge. Download SimsVirusCleaner.exe from their github page linked here and run it. Once it has finished, it will give you an output about whether any files have been removed.

I been talking to a lot of ppl w cats lately (I volunteer at an animal shelter) and I didn’t know this needed to be said but

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT DECLAW YOUR CAT.

Declawing sounds very normal to people who aren’t educated on it so let me show you what it actually is.

As you might notice from the diagram, the claw is attached to a small bone at the very end of a cat’s paw. They are fused to this bone, which on a human hand would be where your last knuckle is (the one right before your nail). When someone gets a cat declawed, they aren’t just removing the claw.

The entire last digit of the cat’s paw is removed. (See below)

This severely impedes the cat’s ability to balance itself, is extremely painful for them, and can make the cat extremely aggressive because it no longer has one of its main defense mechanisms! It can also cause many other medical issues down the line including infection, necrosis, and some cats are never able to walk correctly again. Most cats that have this done never fully recover from the procedure and are in constant chronic pain.

It is extremely inhumane and is illegal in only two states at the time I’m writing this!!!! (Maryland and New York) Cats should only have this procedure if it is a life or death situation, never just because someone finds a cat being a cat inconvenient for them. Don’t get a cat if you don’t want to be scratched or have some ruined furniture. If you want more information on this topic, I’d recommend Jackson Galaxy’s YouTube video on it, and to read up on some articles I will link in the comments.

I know I don’t usually post about these types of things, but it’s made me extremely angry to hear people mention getting their cats declawed so flippantly as if it doesn’t ruin the cat’s life, and always for an asinine reason like “they scratched my couch” or “they scratch my kids” THOSE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A CAT OWNER. In case you are not from Mexico you should know that María Elena Rios is a survivor of a femicide attempt against her ( after breaking up with bussinessman and former politician Juan Vera Carrizal, he hired a man who threw acid to her face. Most of her face and parts of her body were burned and she had to spent 6 months recovering in the hospital)

After surviving this attack, she became an outspoken activist for violence against women. She even managed to modify the law so that an attack with acid against a woman would be considered not just attempted murder but also femicide ( which carries a larger sentence in the criminal system)

So the fact that she is making this accusation is very serious and something we should not dismiss just because Tenoch happens to be you favourite actor. In fact this is much larger than Tenoch.

Please, I urge you to read and educate yourself on the violence that women in Mexico have to face everyday. In average, eleven of us go missing everyday and there does not seem to be and end to it. It is because of women like Maria Elena and many other activists, who have bravely spoken out (even when their life and the lives of their families were threatened) that we have been able to see some changes in the judicial system here in Mexico, but there is still a long long way to go.

Elena already survived one attempt to silence her, and with this new accusation surely a lot of people will now try to silence her again

If someone messages you on Discord claiming they accidentally reported you, it’s a scam. You don’t need to pay anything either if asked to verify things. Just block the sender and don’t click anything your sent. People are actively falling for this very common scam on a daily basis.

Important things I’ve learned about the new tumblr polls so far (which are NOT mentioned in the official announcement post):

Once you’ve voted you can’t change it and you can only vote once.

You can only view poll results on the dashboard or in blogview. The buttons are still displayed on custom blog layouts, but if you try to click on them it will automatically take you to blogview.

Responses are completely anonymous. Neither the poll creator nor the respondents can see who voted or what they voted for. The only visible metric is the total number of votes.

Votes don’t show up on your activity feed so you have to go find the poll on your blog if you want to see the results or know if people are even voting.

You can’t view the results of your own poll without participating (clicking on one of the answer choices yourself).

You can’t edit a poll post once you publish it, you can only delete it! I assume this lasts until the poll has timed out, which will either be in a week or a day depending on what you picked This is permanent, so you better hope you got all of your tags and answer choices correct before you publish! This also means you can’t change your poll duration later either.

UPDATE (Jan 22, 2023):

You can send individual polls to someone as a submission, which the recipient can then edit and customize before publishing, but this will NOT give that person the ability to create new polls on their own.

Polls have a maximum of 10 answer choices and each answer choice is limited to 80 characters.

Polls can’t be added to reblogs, only original posts. Additionally, only one poll is allowed per post.

You can add a poll to a previously published original post (that doesn’t have one already), but as soon as it’s published again all editing will be disabled. Also, the poll time limit starts from the original post date, so if you add a poll to a post older than your set time limit, the poll will automatically show up as completed with zero votes.

If you aren't sure if you have the ability to create polls, check this guide. As of right now, according to my current poll, only about 10-15% of users have this feature.
