“trans men don’t have any real safety concerns to worry about” i can’t wear a mask when i go into public bathrooms even though i’m higher risk and bathrooms are some of the easiest places to get sick because i don’t reliably pass when my facial hair is covered and i can’t risk not passing when i use the men’s room, but i also can’t just use the women’s room for safety anymore because i don’t reliably pass as either binary gender anymore. so my only options are to risk getting sick, take my chances with the consequences of not passing, or just never use the bathroom in public (which has its own health risks).
and today, it almost didn’t even matter that i was putting myself in danger to ensure that i passed because, thanks to a faulty lock and a man who didn’t think to knock, i came very close to having my half-naked body exposed to a bathroom full of cis men. if i hadn’t been holding my coat on my lap because there was nowhere in the stall to put it, every single guy waiting in the (very crowded) bathroom would’ve seen that i didn’t have a dick. how well do you think that would’ve gone for me? my money’s on Not Well At All.

It’s just… it is everything that Cardan thought Jude would notice his “SO OBVIOUS” exile riddle and thinks Jude to not hesitate to come back. Beside his certainty of her cleverness to piece the riddle together, he believed he was that clear about his feelings toward her; he had thought she absolutely ought to know how he feels for her.
Like oh buddy. BUDDY. Your wife had thought of the answer to your little riddle like you thought she would. But guess what? She has detrimental TRUST ISSUES. (Like… Ur super mean and hot, I can’t blame her.) Anyway.. it’s SUPER adorable of him to so wholeheartedly believe she wouldn’t question his trust. It reveals so much about his pov of thier relationship.
Jude thought Cardan’s (silly) trick was a (vile) trick, when it was simply a: “Im trying to impress/pay you back in kind with our romantic metaphorical sparring and eventually get you out of political drama for a bit,” trick.
I’m fucking laughing wow these delusional ass children I fucking love them.

the frozen ii ending makes me soooooo angry like the whole POINT of frozen i was that elsa learned that she could rule arendelle with her powers and with anna by her side!!! literally in the bway musical she sings ‘i know i’ll never see that sunny day / when this trial is finally through / and it can just be me and you’ like. elsa WANTS to stay with anna
and they try and explain this somewhat in into the unknown, with the ‘who knows deep down i’m not where i’m meant to be’ but. WHY isn’t she where she’s meant to be. all of the first film was her learning that she belonged in arendelle and her powers/herself wasn’t something to be afraid of. why isn’t she meant to be with her family? with her sister who’s been desperate to reconnect with her? why doesn’t she belong where people readily love her and accept her and want the best for her?
and then, what about anna? there is no mention of her wanting/being ready to be queen in either two films. we don’t even see the offer on screen; we don’t get the sisters’ quiet, vulnerable conversation where elsa admits to wanting to live with the rest of the nature spirits and anna offers to take her place as queen. we don’t see anna begging elsa to stay in the forest because she can rule if elsa’s happier there. we never see their dialogue. it’s just so sudden. is anna once again just going along with what her sister wants? is elsa isolating herself all over again? we just don’t know. they both seem happy, but there’s barely any indication that it’ll lead up to that point.
it just makes no sense for either of their arcs, or their previous wants/needs. if they were meant to stay together, why separate them again? they just got each other back. and now they’re alone again.

In S10 of Shameless Ian initially does not want to marry Mickey. When Mickey realizes why he eventually says “when you get over this whole I’m not worthy of love bullshit why don’t you give me a call” and man did that hurt. Combine that with Lip saying he thinks they should get married if that’s what they want, but Ian needs to figure out why he doesn’t want to marry Mickey now and it hurts even more. But then the next episode Ian beats up Mickey’s date (don’t talk shit about Mick) and proposes, and we never confront this idea that Ian doesn’t think he deserves to be loved. And though I loved groomzilla Mickey, the Gallavich wedding, and married them in S11 I just really wish the writers would have given Ian time to love himself and realize he deserves love

I don’t understand why Kishimoto never added Kakashi having thoughts about Gai when he died in the pain assault. It’s like he doesn’t want his relationship with Gai to have depth but then adds all these interactions and feelings that show how much he means to Kakashi.
He thinks of his dead friends and family, he thinks of Konoha 11, but he doesn’t think about his longest and biggest support? Not even a passing thought?
Might Gai is Kakashi’s best friend and rival, he isn’t a nuisance to him and he doesn’t think he’s less than him. Their relationship has substance and evidence to show how much they care about one another, im sick of Kishimoto and his constant need to diminish it then prop it up and then diminish it again. How can he be so inconsistent with relationships and character writing??

Sorry, don’t mind me, just thinking about Lyria’s empathy, compassion, and genuine human decency that has carried the emotional heart for the sequel series for three books now.
Lyria “I will risk my life for this gold warrior I don’t know, even when everyone around me will sit on the sidelines in fear” of lagalos
Lyria “I don’t care if it sends me to prison for the rest of my life, I’ll turn myself over to a government that has basically abandoned me and my people if it helps save those kidnapped kids” of lagalos
Lyria “I don’t care if you don’t want my help, you’re in labor and I’m not going to leave you alone for it” of lagalos
Lyria “I’m going to save these girls I don’t know from sexual slavery even if it means putting myself in a position to be abused or killed” of lagalos
Lyria “if it’s a choice between being powerful and remaining myself I will choose to remain myself every time, without hesitation” of lagalos
Lyria “I just wanted to say I’m sorry about ulysses” of lagalos
Lyria “it doesn’t matter to me that you once killed the man who was trying to liberate my people, you’re here now and that’s what matters” of lagalos
Lyria “in the face of someone seconds away from ripping my heart out, I will choose to believe in her humanity and remind her who she is and who she is not” of lagalos

Okay just saw a post that was talking about how Steve would at least have an idea about bisexuality even if he didn’t know the name of it bc of pointing out Vickie could still like boobies thing
And I absolutely agree, I’m a Steve knew he like babes and dudebabes all along truther, BUT
Steve also could’ve known it was something Vickie could do, but not himself.
When I was a kid I knew trans women and drag queens, I spent more than a little time with them, and I still didn’t know you could be trans in the other direction until someone spelled it out for me. Obviously, that’s a bit different, but Steve could have the idea that, yeah, totally, Vickie’s a girl so Vickie could like both, because in his head it could just be different.
He grew up in a small town in Indiana in the 80s, it wouldn’t be that he was stupid, wouldn’t be a hit on his intelligence, it’d just be something he didn’t know and hadn’t had the chance or resources to learn about yet.
