TwT we love an inexperience reader <3
warning: fingering, oral, dirty talking, groping, praise, dry humping
a/n: credit to whoever the pics belong to <3
yuna-
Tumblr media
would probably tease you about it "you dummy and she said yes?! oh i wish i could be there to take a video", bribing her with food and doing her chores she gives in and decides to help you out at your place, getting all dressed up she smiles at you and enters your place, after teaching you some basic date eqiuttes she decides to teach you how to seduce her into ending the date faster to have sex, moving her leg up yours, lingering her touch on your thighs, she leans into your ear and softly blows on it before you grab her and pin her against the couch with hungry eyes, smirking she shakes her head taunting you, "impatient aren't we? now be a good girl and take off my pants let me show you how the real fun begins", giving you pointers on how to finger your date well yuna cums all over you before she flips you down to the couch to begin her demonstration on how to properly suck someone off
lia-
Tumblr media
listens carefully to what you hope to accomplish and with a serious face agrees to the task, "let's get you laid, why not start now?" being alone in the dorms lia sits down and puts you down on the floor so you're in between her legs, pulling down her shorts she starts explaining to you all the things that happen when you feel horny and even how to tell just from a look or touch, guiding your hand to her wet panties she shivers and praises you, "good job! t-that's how you can tell when she's turned on but this what you should do next" then she starts teasing herself with your fingers moving and positioning your hand with hers as she starts fingering herself with your hands before you move hers to the side and take over, "w-wow you're a fast learner!" cumming she pants and looks down at you with a smile before you decide you need some 'extra practice'
ryujin-
Tumblr media
being really jealous of having some stranger take your first time with a girl ryujin would make it her aim to make sure no other girl could compare to her, dragging you to her room she would make you strip and then lay on the bed, "if you want to learn how to make a girl feel good you need to know how she'll feel first before you learn" just making up some excuse to fuck you she'll kiss you roughly before trailing down your neck and to your breasts sucking and biting them as she hears your moans and surprised noises it encourages her to continue all the way down to the place she longed to see the most, "its going to be weird at first but i promise it'll feel great once you're use to it" pinning your legs down she starts eating out of you with no mercy and so fast you almost scream her name until she stops to glares at you to stay quiet, she'll keep it up until you cum moaning out her name only to have her flip you on your chest, "we're not done yet, let me show you what else i can do" and goes to find her strap
chaeryeong-
Tumblr media
shy baby but feels confident in her teaching skills, she'd probably tell you that sex isn't the way to get a girl but seeing your puppy eyes she groans and gives in, "we'll start with something light and then see how you feel ok?" making the two of you sit across from each other in bed she'll teach you with your clothes on how to have sex since you think its too much work taking off clothes, putting you on her lap she'll make you slowly rub yourself on her thigh and move your hands onto her chest, "play with her boobs like this ok? don't squeeze to hard or OH!!!" not listening you blink as she moans with your squeeze, wanting to hear more noises from her you start rubbing yourself harder against her thigh and grab both her boobs to grope and play around with, seeing what makes her squirm or moan you continue until you feel your panties wet her jeans, "chae- i-i want to take off your clothes and keep playing!!" shaking her head vigorously she agrees and pushes you off her to strip and continue where you left off
yeji-
Tumblr media
shy baby number 2, would be very embarrassed you asked but still tries to help you, "i-i'm a bit rusty but let's just go with the flow ok?" she'll take you to her room and slowly strip down to her underwear and lay on the bed for you, you'll hover over her and look down to see what to do next, "try anything and see how i react ok?" she'll let you stroke her stomach or kiss her shoulders, grope her boobs telling you exactly how she feels even if she stammers or groans, you explore her whole body with your fingers and mouth until you reach her lower body and eye her pussy with curiosity, "g-go ahead and touch it love" you slowly palm her and see how she gasps and moans feeling the fabric rub against her, kissing and stroking her thighs you rub your nose against her centre and watch her whole body twitch, replacing it with your fingers you start stroking and rubbing her feeling her panties get wetter and wetter until you can't take it anymore and rip them off to feel her juice on you as you thrust them in eager to keep exploring

Copa x  gn Asthmatic Reader
yes this is based off of earlier when I had an asthma attack and got sick immediately after my breathing treatment. so sue me!
anyway this is basically a slightly more complicated sickfic
TW: Mentions of asthma, difficulty breathing, sickness, tremors, etc.
also background info for the lucky ducks without asthma, some symptoms that come with higher doses of albuterol are tremors, fatigue, stomachache, fast heartbeat, headache, that sort of thing. This will be exhibited in the drabble. These symptoms also do not occur with the use of an inhaler, but rather a nebulizer instead due to higher dosage and the way it is administered. Also, a cursed fun fact: sometimes after using an inhaler, you can feel your airway open up! Gross.
However, after a few hours, you noticed it was getting difficult to breathe. You figured it was an asthma attack, and decided to ignore it. After all, your inhaler was all the way across the ministry in your bedroom, and it was just a minor flare up. You weren’t even wheezing yet. You figured it would either go away on its own, or it could wait until you made your way back to your quarters. You continued to focus on the book you were reading; the library smelled of old wood and new books. The smell had always been calming to you.
Tumblr media
Your day started and went on as normal. You rose early to start your chores. Today, you were tasked with kitchen duty. This meant cooking breakfast and lunch, as well as prepping for dinner. However, this left plenty of free time in-between meals. After lunch, you decided to busy yourself in the library, shelving books and reading.
A few minutes passed, and you realized that the closed off feeling in your airway was not going away; in fact, it had gotten much worse. Panic rose in your throat, which you did your best to stifle; after all, it would make it much more difficult to breathe. You focused on breathing in, then out. In, out. In, out. You needed to leave, right now.
You walked briskly out of the library. You were quick to become breathless, your lungs lacking in oxygen. I just need to make it to the bedroom, you thought. Oh, why did you have to leave your inhaler all the way across the ministry? What a stupid decision! You paused halfway down the hall, trying to catch your breath.
Further down the hall, you saw Sister Imperator and Mr. Saltarian round the corner. “Ah, y/n! Just the person I was looking for. Have you started on dinner yet?”
“Ah- not quite,” you mustered, trying to keep the slight wheezing undetectable. The last thing you needed was to worry Sister.
“Oh, dear, you must get on it soon. It will be late soon.”
“Of course, ma’am.” your voice cracked slightly. “I will start in just a few moments. I must go now.” You worried you sounded rude, but the heaviness in your chest was only getting worse. You quickly walked past the two of them.
“Oh, hold on y/n!” called Mr. Saltarian. Damnit. The two of you turned to face each other. “You look a little pale. Is everything alright?”
“Ah- yes, sir. I am having issues with my asthma right now. I will be alright, but I must go.”
“Oh dear, child! Please, do go!” Sister bid you farewell. You turned back around and walked even more briskly, drawing in big, yet shallow breaths. As you walked, you wondered what triggered this episode; the library, perhaps? Or the changing weather? Maybe it had been triggered by the fresh flowers Primo had brought into the kitchen? It didn’t matter, you supposed, your asthma was still flared up terribly. You hadn’t seen a flare-up quite like this in several months. An awful heaviness was trapped inside your lungs, tightening your airway. You struggled to draw a breath, and covered your mouth with your sleeve. In past attacks, this helped you. Right now, however, it didn’t; and you weren’t sure if your inhaler would work either. “Only one way to find out,” you mumbled to yourself, the words cutting out.
Finally you rounded another corner, now facing your bedroom entrance. You threw open the door, hearing it hit the wall with a loud thud as you ran inside. Not bothering to close the door behind you, you proceeded to toss the items inside the bedside drawer where you kept your inhaler. Once it was in your hand, you shook it quickly and popped the cap off. You stuck it in your mouth, deciding not to waste time searching for the spacer; you knew that this would make the medication less effective, but you didn’t really have time to go searching for it. This would have to do.
You pressed the button, inhaling the bitter air. You held your breath for a few seconds, allowing the medication to enter your lungs. You did this three more times, equaling two full doses. You could feel your airway shift uncomfortably, then it became slightly easier to breathe. You took a seat on the bed, waiting to see if your airway would open completely. You took deep breaths, hoping to eventually get a full one. You didn’t.
Groaning in frustration, you tossed your inhaler back into the drawer; you reached underneath the nightstand to pull out your nebulizer, as well as a small vial each of albuterol and budesonide. You quickly separated the tube from the mask, pouring the medications inside. Once you reconnected the pieces, you placed the mask over your face and flicked the on switch on the machine. “Damn you, shit lungs.”
You lay down on the bed, waiting for the medication to work. You could feel the tremble in your hands already, partially from anxiety and partially from your inhaler. You knew it would get much worse in a few minutes, though.
You took deep breaths into the mask, inhaling as much as the medication as possible. You could feel it beginning to work, already being able to take bigger breaths than before. You still weren’t completely recovered, however. You closed your eyes, longing to breathe properly again.
. . .
“Yes, please go check on them- I know they said not to worry, but...”
Copia interrupted her. “I understand, Sister. I am positive they will be okay. First I will assign dinner prep to the ghouls, then I will go check on them. They have had this condition for many years, you know.”
“I know, C. It’s just- you should have seen them earlier. It was clear they were unwell.”
“It’s alright, Sister. I will report back to you soon.” He turned and made his way through the Ministry halls, making a quick stop to the ghoulettes’ quarters; they were quick to oblige, eager to help assist their papa. Next, he headed to your room.
He knocked on your door, not bothering to wait for a response before opening the door. He chuckled when he saw you asleep on the bed, atop the covers; the mask from your nebulizer laid next to you, now emptied of the medication you had so desperately needed. The machine was off as well, no longer making the loud, obnoxious noise it did while in use.
You stirred when the bed dipped next to you. “Mh?” You mumbled sleepily, your eyes still closed.
“Good evening, sleepyhead,” Copia muttered in your ear. “Did you have a good rest?”
“Mhm,” you replied, clumsily reaching a hand out. He placed a warm gloved hand into yours, grasping it tightly. “’m cold.”
“Understandably so, cara mia. Are you feeling better?”
You opened a bleary eye, beginning to understand your surroundings more. “Hmm? Oh,” you eyed the discarded nebulizer off to the side. “Yeah. I can breathe at least. Though I feel like shit now.”
“Oh dear. How so, little one?”
“Albuterol.” You closed your eyes again, as if that single word explained it all.
     “Oh, tesoro. What is that?”
“Asthma stuff. Makes you shake, tired, stomach ache... That kinda stuff. It’s kinda wore off now. But that’s why I don’t do breathing treatments often anymore unless I have to.”
“Oh, sweetheart, that’s no good.” He released his hand from your grasp and ruffled your hair. “Why don’t you get some more rest, hm? I’ll come wake you when dinner is ready.”
You sat up at that. “Oh, no. I was supposed to cook dinner, Copia. I told Sister I would start on it soon- oh, what time is it?”
“No matter. Sister is aware that you are unwell, so she has taken the liberty of allowing the ghouls to take care of dinner tonight.”
You rubbed your fists into your eyes. “Oh, I’m so sorry. I really was going to come cook. It’s just these breathing treatments really wear me out when I do them.”
“It is quite alright, amore. Now, why don’t you lie down for a while longer? I am sure you need the rest,” he cupped your face in his hand, tilting your head to look at him. “My, you do look sleepy, if I do say so myself.”
You melted into his touch for a few seconds, before pulling away. “I really should get back into the kitchen.”
“No, cara mia. It is quite alright, the ghouls will handle everything. Now, lie back down, before your papa decides to take matters into his own hands.”
You chuckled at that. “Is that supposed to be a threat?”
He took your hand in his own again, watching you tremble. “Do you feel fit to assist in the kitchen?”
“Well, I certainly could- I just, uh, shouldn’t handle knives.”
“Hm. I think you are full of shit, dear.” He pulled the covers back for you and helped you crawl underneath, giving you no other option. “Move over.”
     “Huh?”
“You heard me. Scootch over, I want in.”
You chuckled. but moved so that there was enough room for the two of you on the giant bed. He climbed underneath the covers, pulling you on top of him and draping the thick blankets over the two of you. He wrapped you in a  warm embrace, feeling you shake beneath the covers. “Now, close your eyes.” He ordered.
You obeyed, enjoying his warmth and the comfort of the moment. “Copia?”
     “Yes, mi amore?”
     “Thank you.”
‘Of course, tesoro. Anytime. Now, go to sleep.” He purred in your ear, sending shivers down your spine. It didn’t take long before you were fast asleep, your head resting on his chest.

I am obsessed with your Mamalores and Papariano mafia Au! I have some questions about it: 1. What does the underground look like and how did Dolores get involved? 2. When did Dolores and Mariano adopt Mirabel and Antonio? 3. Would you write a snippet of Dolores and Mirabel coming home with blood on the clothes and them coming up with excuses to the Madrigals? 4. Besides being their parents’ helpers, what are Mirabel and Antonio individually good at? 5. Do they use guns or machetes to kill? 6. How is their mafia run and how did Alma/the Madrigals find out about the underground? and 7. I would LOVE to see Bruno knowing about the underground and just helping Dolores and Mariano run their mafia while also helping Mirabel and Antonio with their training or something.
I'm glad you like it so much!!
So, there's not a literal underground. Not unless you count the Guzmán's basement, lmao. But its more like a crime ring? But its not as bad a most others, but there's definitely some shady stuff going on, like felonies, misdemeanors, occasional assassinations, etc etc. Dolores got involved because of Mariano; She always like how caring he was towards Mirabel even after her ceremony and basically got close enough to him to the point where she was involved in said underground. That, and she thought it was way more fun than the chores Alma gave her.
Dolores and Mariano adopted Mirabel when she was about 7 or 8. At first they were more like glorified babysitters, but then they ultimately just calimed her as their own. Antonio, it was from birth, because they knew that none of the family would step up to the task of raising them, so instead, they did.
I'll see what I can do ;) I'll tag you in a separate post that has the snippet :)
Mirabel is like Dolores, she's very quiet. Ultimately, she is almost always sent on missions that involve spying on someone. She's able to watch their every move and not be able to get caught. Antonio is a very capable 5 year old; he'll isolate someone and break them down, targeting their every flaw, thus weakening them mentally come interrogation. He's able to get away with it because he's cute, and people brush it off as being kids brutal honesty.
Machetes <3
Its run by seniority. The Guzmán's started it, and have continued it for years; thus putting them at the top. Those who know about the underground, always try to get close to them. Mirabel and Antonio were instantly put above many others, simply because of their relationship with Mariano. The Madrigals actually found out before Antonio's ceremony, when he was about 4. But they never acted on it because they were so worried about the proposal and the ceremony that was upcoming at the time.
Yes, Bruno does get involved! Again, he's instantly out above many others in the ring. He actually does help out Mirabel and Antonio, mainly in non-lethal combat. As for helping out the Guzmáns, he mostly gives visions on targets and people, so that the Guzmán's can prepare in advance (on his own will of course; they aren't that cruel.).

So June’s been... A Time.
Hello everyone! Firstly, I am posting this in more places than normal because I've actually gotten several (very sweet!) DMs expressing concern and I just don't have the energy to reply to everyone swiftly ;; So this is hopefully to help assuage some of those worries while taking up less of my limited brainpower right now- thank you so much for understanding!
Secondly, I wanna say that most of June has been fantastic! I did a lot of fun things and I'm over all very happy about the month as a whole, but my body isn't too pleased with me- there's a little more rambling about that below, if you're here for the TL;DR:
I've been slow/quiet, and I'm probably going to continue to be that way for a little bit! I will not be stopping work, as I can't afford to, but please be patient with me if I'm struggling to be chatty like normal! No need to read farther unless you'd like to know details about my health/personal situation, and I will not begrudge you at all if you wouldn't! And for the longer version:
( I'm very sorry if I come across as whiny, I don't talk about this often for a reason ;; )
Something I don't discuss very often, even with close friends, is that I actually live with chronic pain. I'm pretty well conditioned not to think about it overmuch, and to not even really think about it in those terms, but when looking at the "accurate pain scale" my standard day tends to be between 3 and 5- you can usually tell when I'm having a very good day and am more at around 1-2, because I'm extra productive. Typically, I blame this on my arthritis, however it's probably something more than that, as the arthritis is concentrated in my hands/wrists, but the pain is often in my entire body. I won't be finding out what it actually is anytime soon, though, because I'm self employed in America. hah
That said, starting from the end of May, I have been at a 5-6 consistently. The last week-ish, it has been at 7-9. Constantly. It's been hard to think, hard to move, hard to accomplish basic tasks. Picking up a pen or pencil hurts. Typing this hurts, not just in my hands, but all the way up through my elbows and into my shoulders. Today was a little better than normal, and I tried doing a tiny portion of my workout routine, and I regret it.
I'm sorry to the people I've fibbed to by offering other excuses- I know I have to a couple and it's just often easier to say "I'm tired and I don't know why".
My best guess is that this is due to air pressure changes- the weather has been all kinds of funky where I live as a result of the Canadian wildfires.
Regardless of the cause, generally, when I have days this bad where I can't really think properly, I will shift focus to the bare minimum of what needs done- if that's a commission because I need to keep up on my TDL, then I will endure a few hours with a pencil. If that's some household chores, I'll manage them very slowly. Unfortunately, such a prolonged string of bad days means I've utterly neglected anything 'non-essential'- which happens to include checking messages, responding to DMs, and... well, everything requiring brain function or body function except the bare minimum to feed myself and slooowly work through owed art ( blessings to you amazing, patient people who've waited on me ;; )
I'm trying- I really am, but this is a lot more prolonged than I'm used to, so I need to figure out new ways of coping. ( if anyone has any tips for bone pain that AREN'T taking a hot soak in the bath, I'd love to hear them, but you're not obligated! ). This is something I really hesitated to share at all- typically, discussing my health with people I know IRL results in a lot of dismissal, but I really feel it's best to be fully accountable and honest about this ( and maybe being honest with you guys will help me be more honest with myself about it ), so that I can communicate when I'm going to be quiet because I'm having health problems that are normal for me- seeing other creators talking about their health in an honest and open way like this has done wonders for how I think about my own situation, so maybe I can be that for someone else, too.
Anyway, sorry I so often seem to end up posting updates that are 5 paragraphs long- I should PROBABLY work on being a little less wordy, haha. Thank you if you read to the bottom, and truly, no worries if you didn't ( and are seeing this because you skipped to the end ). I'm doing my best and I'm going to continue to do my best for you. <3

Learning about money can be a thrilling adventure, and one of the first steps on this journey is understanding the magic of budgeting. Imagine your money as superheroes, each with a special job to do. Let’s dive into the world of budgeting and discover how to make your money work for you!
What is Budgeting?
Budgeting is like creating a treasure map for your money. It helps you plan how to use your money wisely so that you can achieve your goals and have enough for everything you need and want. Whether it’s saving for a new toy, planning a family outing, or setting aside some coins for a rainy day, budgeting is your trusty guide.
Creating Your Money Map:
Earning Money: Every superhero needs a source of power, and for your money superheroes, that source is earning. Think of tasks you can do, like helping with chores or starting a little business like selling lemonade. This is the first step in creating your treasure map.
Setting Goals: Now, let’s talk about goals. Goals are like the magical destinations on your treasure map. Whether it’s saving for a special toy or planning a fun day out, having clear goals gives your money a purpose and direction.
Divide and Conquer: Your treasure map is a magical land divided into three regions: saving, spending, and sharing. One time, when you get your allowance or earn money, divide it among these regions. Saving for goals goes in one section, spending money on things you need or want in another, and a portion for sharing or helping others in the last.
The Saving Region:
Imagine this region as a castle where your money superheroes guard your treasures. This is where you save for those big dreams, like a shiny new toy or a day at the amusement park. As you save, watch your treasures grow, and feel the power of patience and goal achievement.
The Spending Region:
Picture the spending region as a marketplace full of colorful stalls. Here, you can use your money to buy things you need, like school supplies or a snack, and things you want, like a new book or a cool gadget. But remember, spend wisely, and compare prices to get the best value.
The Sharing Region:
In the sharing region, your money superheroes become heroes for others. This is where you can set aside a small portion to help those in need or contribute to a cause you care about. Sharing adds a touch of kindness to your budgeting adventure.
Review and Adjust:
Like any adventure, your money map may need occasional adjustments. Review your goals and see if they change. Maybe you want to save for a different toy or help a different cause. Adjust your budget accordingly, ensuring your money superheroes continue to work towards your dreams.
Conclusion:
Teaching kids budgeting fundamentals involves introducing basic financial concepts in a fun and relatable way. Use activities like creating a “money jar” for savings, setting goals, and emphasizing the importance of making choices. Explore educational resources such as libertarian kids’ books to provide engaging stories that convey economic principles. Encourage open discussions about needs, wants, and responsible spending, fostering a lifelong understanding of financial responsibility in an accessible and enjoyable manner.

Ever since I had to go from 30mg Vyvanse to 40mg life has been distinctly weird. It's just dialled up my hyperfocus episodes to maximum and my sense of time is extremely off.
The dose change wasn't for actual treatment reasons, but because there's a worldwide shortage of the 30mg (which is a flow-on effect from the Ritalin shortage and also entirely man-made, since the US apparently limits the supply of materials because it's a Dangerous Drug and all of that).
The FDA started approving generic versions last year, as soon as Takeda's market exclusivity thing expired, but there's absolutely no word on when generics might be approved in Australia.
The latest update is:
Currently there are shortages of Vyvanse 30 mg, 50 mg and 60 mg which are expected to continue until March and April 2024, depending on strength.
Now the 40mg capsules are in shortage just because everyone's had to switch from 30mg/50mg/60mg doses and I'm going to lose my mind a little bit if the 40mg is properly out of stock by my next refill too. I'm genuinely worried because my pharmacy couldn't even order more from their supplier last time, and I had to call around to find it in stock.
It's difficult because it's certainly not a minor inconvenience if I'm without meds and I'm genuinely not able to work, so even a couple of days sans meds is really disruptive to my life.
I'll also have to decide whether to stay at 40mg or go back to 30mg once everything is in stock again. It's tricky because the 30mg could be slightly underwhelming, but in general I get pretty inconsistent effects. That's probably based on everything from my diet (including nutrient deficiencies and available neurotransmitters) to the effects of other chronic stuff in terms of fluctuating brain fog.
In general, though, it makes it really difficult to pinpoint what the ideal dosage is when any dosage is sometimes not enough and sometimes too much.
And admittedly, the excessive hyperfocus isn't fun, but it's a lot more useful when it comes to Getting Shit Done than not being able to stay on-task at all. The downside is not necessarily being able to control it or direct it to the most important tasks, so quite frequently I'm super busy and exhausting myself with all the wrong things.
In general, stimulants really take a toll on my body, and the long-term effects of that worry me, but I'm not considered Disabled Enough for proper welfare support, so I don't have a choice not to medicate if I want to make a living.
I'm trying to take more days off meds to at least give my body a break, which is difficult because I struggle to even do basic chores and things without them, and my sleep disorder and fatigue come back to bite me in the ass without daily stimulants. I actually forget how bad both of those things are at a baseline level, and I worry that daily stimulant use is just making that baseline level worse.
Again, though, I don't have much of a choice, because I don't have any other way to support myself besides taking stimulants. I'm just hoping like hell that it doesn't put my health on a permanent downward spiral.

SFW Alphabet - Solomon
This is for my best friend/mother as she is the biggest Solomon simp I’ve ever seen lol. Also, this is gonna be angsty cause I love writing angsty Solomon
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
He pretends to not like affection, but he’s a softie and we all know it. Really, all he needs is a hug and he’ll just melt on the spot.
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
One word: chaos. You two as best friends cause untold destruction and cause Lucifer several migraines per day. Being besties with him also means being besties with Asmo, so be prepared for that as well.
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
He loves cuddles. Maybe it’s just the fact that he hasn’t had much physical contact in who knows how long, but he loves any form of contact. His favorite ways to cuddle is him on his back with you either laying on top of him, or on the side of him with your head on his chest.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
I can’t see him as the type to settle down, be he’d consider it depending on the person. And while he’s a terrible cook, he’s not half bad at cleaning and other household chores.
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
He’d be super blunt about it. Honestly, he’s scared to get with anyone to begin with since, ya know, immortality and all, so it’s been a while since he’s actually had to break it off. His main goal when breaking up with someone is to get them away from him, so he wants to make sure the way he breaks up with them will make them want to stay away.
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
Afraid of commitment. I imagine the last time he tried to commit to someone was before he became immortal, so having to watch them die made him vow to never get that close to anyone again. Then he met you, and all of that has been thrown out the window. He might try and rush things a bit, but he just wants as much time with you as possible. So, while he is afraid to commit, he’ll do it for you.
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
He’s bad at human interaction, so he might not know if he accidentally hurts you, but he’ll be quick to apologize once he realizes. Honestly, he’s better at being physically gentle since he can control that better than emotions.
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
Loves hugs. They’re one of his favorite things ever. He just finds such comfort in them, and they’re great for stress relief. His hugs are a bit on the aggressive side, but they’re still very enjoyable.
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
He’d say it on accident. And then he’d try to play it off to hide how embarrassed he is. It is pretty early on, but he does mean it with all his heart. Please say it back, he hasn’t heard it in a while.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
He gets extremely jealous. Like, you spend so much time with the brothers and he can’t stand that. Of course, he would never admit it, but he would try everything he can think of to get you away from them. Once, he almost resorted to food poisoning out of sheer desperation.
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
His kisses differ depending on his mood, but they’re usually soft and full of passion. His favorite place to kiss you is your neck because it gets a nice reaction out of you. His favorite place to be kissed is the top of his head cause he’s secretly a big softy who wants to be babied.
L = Little ones (How are they around children?)
He’s not the most fond of kids, but he’ll tolerate them. They’re are fun to tease though, especially Luke.
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
he’s either waking you up at the crack of dawn to work on some new potion, or he’s sleeping in until past noon and refuses to get up. Regardless, you are not leaving his side. If he gets up, he’ll drag you up with him. If he wants to stay in, he’ll hold you there until he’s satisfied.
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)
He’ll usually be up late working on something or other, but he’s never up for too long. He jins you in bed when he’s done, and he’ll cuddle the crap out of you an an apology for keeping you waiting. He’s also fond of talking to you about random stuff that happened throughout the day until one or both of you fall asleep.
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
This man is one of the most secretive people to ever exist. He wants to open up to you, honestly he does, but he just can’t. he’s so worried that all of his emotional baggage will drive you away, and he couldn’t stand losing another person he cares about. So, he keeps everything hidden. With time, he’ll start opening up if you push enough buttons.
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)
He’s really good at pretending he’s patient. On the outside he’s his same-old self, but on the inside he’s fuming. His patience tends to wear especially thin around the brothers (except Asmo). It’s a mixture of jealousy for how much time they spend with you, and anger that they refuse to make a pact with him. But he keeps it all under wraps.
Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)
He does remember a good bit of information, but he sucks at remembering small details. For example, he may know what month your birthday is in, but he cannot remember the actual date. Or, he would remember your favorite movie genre, but not your favorite movie in said genre. He tries his best though.
R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
He loves this one time where you tried to help him cook something. You were tired of dealing with the mess that is his cooking skills, and you wanted him to make something that wouldn’t kill you. Everything started out fine until you accidentally get some flour on him. It wasn’t much, but still. He just turns to you without saying anything before launching some flour right back at you. And then the casual baking session turns into an all-out food war. The kitchen is a mess and you two end up getting scolded by Simeon later, but it was totally worth it.
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
Oh he’s very protective. I mean, you’re a defenseless human surrounded by powerful demons who want to eat you, of course he’d be protective. He would never mean to over-bearing, but he can come off that way sometimes. He used to protect those he cared about before he became immortal, so the habit comes back with you now. He doesn’t need protecting for obvious reasons, so it’s all the more reason to focus on protecting you.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
Surprisingly, he prefers more lowkey dates. Maybe it’s because he rarely gets any alone time with you, but he loves just chilling out together practicing magic. if you did want to go out, he would take you somewhere in the Human World to get away from all the chaos of the Devildom.
U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
Obviously, his cooking could kill a man, but we’re gonna move past that since it’s low hanging fruit. Besides that, he has a tendency to by pretty cunning and he’s always planning some kind of prank. He also has a tendency to get jealous of the brothers a lot, and that can make him salty when you guys can finally hang out.
V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
He used to be pretty concerned with his looks, but he’s gotten over it. He still tries to look decent since he is in the presence of some powerful demons, but it isn’t at the forefront of his mind. Although, since becoming besties with Asmo, his vanity has started picking up again.
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
Maybe yes, maybe no. He’s had to deal with loss several times over, so he could probably learn to deal with it like he did before, but you could be different. It really just depends on what kind of impact you have on him during your time together.
X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)
We all know that it’s basically canon that he and Asmo have hooked up before lol. But I also lowkey think he’s hooked up with both Barb and Satan. I have no real reason as to why I think this, but I do and I’m sticking to it. I don't even ship it that much, I just think he would do something like that.
Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)
He actually doesn’t like someone he knows he’d get attached to. He doesn't want to go through that pain again, so he wants to remain distant. Also, he doesn’t like someone who doesn’t understand or accept what he’s been through and what he’ll continue going through. He wants someone who understands and who he can talk to about it.
Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)
He gets very clingy in his sleep. If he’s sleeping with someone, they can expect to be trapped in his arms until he wakes up. And if you try to escape, he just hugs you even tighter.

A:tLA Re-Watch: Fine-Toothed Comb Edition
As promised! A third update next week is unlikely, but I’m aiming for the weekend after.
Book 1, Chapter 9 - The Waterbending Scroll
(0:55) Previously, on Avatar, Katara is kind of a waterbender. Aang is also kind of a waterbender. Katara lost her necklace, her one remaining memento of her mother, and Zuko picked it up. Aang learned that he has to learn three bending disciplines in, oh, seven and a half months, or bad things will happen.
(1:50) Sokka worries that if the flying bison hits a bump, the airbender might suffer a dangerous fall. I think we just chalk this one up to Sokka being worried that Aang’s panicky, and like his sister, expressing that in maybe a bit of nagging.
(1:56) We pick up with Aang panicking and having told the others what happened in Roku’s sanctuary already, offscreen. Good call - Katara and Sokka needed to hear the details, but the viewer saw the details and don’t need to hear them again secondhand. Instead, Aang just gives the high level recap to spark the viewer’s memory and also establish what’s on his mind.
(2:11) The party’s still weeks away from the North Pole, apparently.
(2:14) The scope of the task is apparently sinking into Aang. Seven and a half months to learn three disciplines that usually take years to learn. However, this is what I mean about the protagonists being proactive. The details are a bit fuzzy at the moment, but their reaction to learning about a specific Fire Nation threat is to make their own plans to deal. This in turn gets broken down into smaller chunks - step one is learning waterbending, and for that they need to get to the North Pole.
(2:19) Katara also offers to teach Aang the little she knows in the meantime.
(2:28) After Sokka suggests that they find a nice puddle for Aang and Katara to splash around in, even he has to admit that the forest waterfall the group finds is a nice puddle. There’s real pleasure in the work here from the production team, who drew this pretty setting for a one-off joke at Sokka’s expense.
(2:35) Likewise, I’m just going to continue to point out how the animators put a lot into giving Appa and Momo actual personalities. (And they’re doing most of the work, since no dialogue.) Appa doesn’t just land, he flops dramatically into the water and rolls over with every sign of enjoyment, while Momo screeches over being splashed.
(2:45) Aang’s first instinct here is to join Appa in a fun swim, but Katara gets him back on task.
(2:56) Sokka asks what he’s supposed to do while Katara and Aang practice waterbending, and Aang suggests grooming Appa. Again, a simple joke at Sokka’s expense, but this sort of thing grows into a longer-running and deeper issue. What does Sokka do while the benders in the group develop steadily more impressive superpowers? What can Sokka contribute, and how does Sokka feel that he’s making a meaningful contribution (as opposed to feeling like he’s relegated to camp chores)? We’ll see a bit more of this issue next episode.
(3:12) Meanwhile, in the B-plot, Zuko’s also practicing, until he’s knocked off balance by a sudden change in course.
(3:22) Exhibit #837 in ‘Zuko has no chill’ - when asking about the change in course, Zuko immediately characterises it as “mutiny”. Word choice used to show how insecure of his authority he is, perceiving everything as a threat and taking everything personally.
(3:27) Our first sighting of pai sho, and another small thing that grows into something greater. From what we learn later, Iroh losing his lotus tile was serious business. But for now it’s just one of those little humanising details we get for Zuko, as despite his irritation and poor grace, he humours his uncle’s desire to turn the ship to the nearest port and pick up a game piece.
(4:26) Katara starts with teaching Aang a basic move that she says took her weeks to perfect. Which shows how important teaching is - fumbling around by herself without any sort of guidance at all, Katara’s progress is painfully slow. And the group’s just learned that they’re on a deadline.
That said, Katara’s worked out the basic principle of waterbending herself: push and pull.
(4:46) Aang gets the move Katara took weeks to work out within ten seconds. When Katara’s a little upset, Aang soothes her ego, accurately pointing out that Katara had to work it out herself, from scratch.
(5:10) Then Aang immediately does Katara’s more difficult move, with a panache she doesn’t have (at this point). On Aang’s part, that sort of flair shows how he enjoys bending. He likes it for its own sake and wants to have fun with it. This is one of the things that helps Aang improve so fast.
But this leads him into a bit of completely innocent insensitivity. The series explores natural talent vs hard work in a couple of ways, over a couple of relationships. In this case, Aang doesn’t understand that for all her own talent, Katara doesn’t have his advantages. Aang has Katara now to point him in vaguely the right direction. He’s got the benefit of already having mastered one bending style; even if the movements and philosophy don’t translate from airbending, he’s almost certainly got a better idea about how to go about learning bending in general than Katara does at this point (even if he’s got other maturity issues that hinder him). He’s got whatever subconscious influence of his past lives. Aang just wants to do the cool thing with water, with Katara.
Another thing Aang doesn’t fully understand how waterbending is so wound into Katara’s identity. She’s the last waterbender of the Southern Water Tribe. Waterbending is how she’s set apart from most of her tribe, but also a connection to her culture, which has been so badly affected by the war. So Aang just doing her thing and doing it better, effortlessly, is a real challenge to her understanding of herself that she has to actually deal with. That’s on top of the natural frustration and jealousy of someone being better than she is, instantly.
(6:05) Aang’s issues with controlling his bending show up here, in a more mundane and less overtly threatening way than going into the Avatar state and blasting whole temples apart. He got so carried away with doing cool things with water that he accidentally washes the group’s supplies away. We’ll come back to this issue with firebending. More than once.
(6:18) Establishing shot of the town, which lacks both obvious Earth Kingdom architecture, including earthbent structures, and obvious Fire Nation architecture, including metalwork. Red sails in the harbour.
(6:23) And in this establishing shot of the streets, we see people in green Earth Kingdom dress, and in the background, others in red clothes. There are green hangings on some houses and red lanterns across the street. In the shot afterwards, there are even a few people in Water Tribe blue. Here we have a free port, controlled by neither Earth Kingdom nor Fire Nation, and from the looks of things, not much in the way of law enforcement…
(6:44) With only three copper pieces between the group, Aang buys a bison whistle on impulse and without any consultation. This turns out to be arguably the best purchase the group makes all series, but the way Aang went about this was horribly irresponsible.
(7:40) The party is ushered inside a suspicious ship by a suspicious hawker to see some ‘exotic curios’.
(7:55) With the appearance of the captain, it becomes pretty apparent that these are pirates. And assholes, because they’re suggesting Aang sell Momo.
(8:05) Katara finds the titular scroll.
(8:38) Sokka’s the one who puts together that the pirates’ goods were perhaps not obtained with utmost legality. Amusingly, he finds the pet reptile-bird as damning as the stolen merchandise, but that’s Sokka for you.
(8:50) Neat worldbuilding detail that Earth Kingdom nobles are participating in the trade of stolen cultural artefacts.
(9:04) Katara ducks out of frame while Aang ‘haggles’ with the pirate captain.
(9:21) And Katara’s back in frame, now insisting they leave.
(9:44) Here, Katara starts backing away before the boys realise that the pirates are an actual danger.
(10:18) For all she’s still inexperienced and untaught, Katara has definitely improved as a waterbender since episode one, managing to bend water out of a bowl and ice it over while running.
(10:36) Poor, poor cabbage merchant.
(11:00) Aang is also getting more comfortable with hitting back at people attacking him. Because this is a kid’s show, he still very much prefers to blind people and escape, but that was an air blast aimed directly at his opponents, carrying a whole bunch of rocks, with a firm “no, thanks”.
(11:26) And here Katara reveals that she stole the waterbending scroll. Which was worth 200 gold pieces, so not a small amount of money.
(11:47) Here’s a refreshing take. When Katara says that stealing from thieves is okay, Sokka’s objection isn’t that stealing is wrong, but that stealing like that was too much risk for too little reward. Katara responds to her brother’s line of argument, saying that they know it’s vital that Aang learn waterbending, which Sokka doesn’t have a convicing rebuttal for (even though he’s still clearly ticked about being put in danger like that). And Aang, who’s very much against violence, doesn’t mind stealing from pirates either. Nobody cares about the property rights of thieves here.
(12:08) We know that compared to a lot of other Fire Nation ships, Zuko’s is small and battered. In this port, however, it’s back to being large and menacing by comparison. It’s always a matter of context.
(12:34) Music night on Zuko’s ship, another joke we’ll see again.
(12:57) Zuko’s luck is in for once, as he overhears the pirates discussing Katara and Aang’s escape.
(13:16) Training accidents happen, as Katara accidentally smacks herself in the face with a water whip.
(13:24) Sokka is still pissed, rightly suspecting Katara’s motives in stealing the scroll were more selfish than selfless.
(13:40) Meanwhile, Aang just does the water whip without visible effort. This is one of the things I mean about Aang’s previous training in airbending likely being an invisible benefit to him (that neither he nor Katara fully appreciates) on top of his natural talent; he’s learned off other people before. He may have even had exposure to scrolls like that one before, even if he didn’t have to rely on them. It’s like reading those furniture set-up diagrams. Aang’s never assembled this particular table, but he’s built other bits of furniture off other instructions, where Katara’s having her first try now. Aang’s just trying to learn waterbending, where Katara’s learning waterbending and learning how to study.
(13:53) And here’s where Katara really crosses the line. Because the show does explore natural talent vs hard work with Zuko and Azula, we do see that Katara’s jealousy is a pretty expected, normal feeling. But normal as it is, it’s also her own issue, for her to work through. Her emotions aren’t the problem, how she’s been treating others is - endangering Aang and Sokka for primarily selfish reasons, and then lashing out at Aang.
Katara realises that she’s been an asshole almost immediately and apologises. She also promises that she won’t use the scroll anymore, which is not a sensible promise. Her desire to learn is not the problem. The scroll is not the problem. Dealing effectively with that jealousy is the problem.
(14:36) Back with the antagonists, Zuko’s got his brain turned on for this episode, as he correctly anticipates that people desperate to steal a waterbending scroll will be near a reliable and plentiful source of water.
(14:52) Sure enough, because Katara is still desperate to learn waterbending, she takes the scroll and goes to practice. Alone. Putting herself in danger. Interestingly, it looks like the group camped a decent way back from the waterline.
(15:42) Katara’s starting to use waterbending in combat more in this brief struggle. Unfortunately, it’s just her versus Zuko and a bunch of pirates. A fair fight in season two, but not in season one.
(16:08) This episode, in shots that focus on one half of Zuko’s face, we’ve got the burn scar. This time the mark of violence is meant to emphasise the threat Zuko poses, even as he offers to let Katara and Sokka go free and Katara’s necklace back.
However, notice what Zuko does not do - threaten Katara (or Sokka, if/when found) with further physical harm. He’s happy to threaten to burn the scroll, but not Katara. Zuko’s wrong to be trying to capture the Avatar and wrong to have assaulted and chained up Katara in the first place. But when you compare his actions to Zhao or Azula, it’s also clear that he’s reluctant to hurt others in a way that they aren’t.
(16:50) Sokka knows his sister. As soon as he realises she’s gone, he checks for the scroll.
(17:00) I do like how this show gives us a variety of weapons in fight scenes.
(17:08) There’s a problem with relying on air as a means of attack - it’s not actually solid. So it’s very difficult to deflect a weighted net, as Aang discovers to his cost.
(17:30) Iroh saying that the situation is, in fact, Katara’s fault is as funny as it is true.
(17:40) Sokka using his wits to get the Gaang out of this one. Doesn’t even miss a beat before pointing out that Zuko’s proposing a pretty uneven trade. For his part, Zuko’s real quick to realise what Sokka’s doing, not that he can stop it.
What follows isn’t one of Avatar’s great fight scenes, since it’s mostly a bunch of one-off villains fighting Zuko’s crew in the middle of a smoke cloud (which also saves on animation). Our heroes aren’t trying to win, just to escape in the confusion. The scroll is definitely lost in the confusion, though a cut in the middle suggests it lands near Sokka.
(19:49) Katara, freed by Momo early in the fight, is busy trying to steal the pirates’ boat. It’s beached, requiring waterbenders to free it. Two, as Aang says. Katara’s realisation that Aang respects her and her skills is what she needs to get her act together.
(20:21) Iroh breaks up the fight between Zuko and the pirate captain without much effort, pointing out that they’ve all been distracted and the pirates’ ship is sailing away. In what is definitely a rare occurrence, Zuko laughs.
…until the pirates steal his boat.
(21:00) When the pirates catch up to the Gaang, Aang uses waterbending on some scale to get rid of most of the pirates, but Katara uses the water whip. Aang recognises what she’s done, Katara says she couldn’t have done it without Aang’s help. Another thing to help community- and relationship-minded Katara through her jealousy, because learning together with Aang makes them both better. It’s not a competition but a collaborative effort.
(21:51) Aang blows the bison whistle.
(22:12) Then Katara and Aang get in a fight with physics, using waterbending to create a whirlpool in front of the waterfall they’re heading towards. (Speaking of, minor continuity error - if Zuko and the pirates came upstream from the ocean, they would have had to sail up this waterfall, unless there was a fork in the river and the Gaang is currently sailing down a different branch.)
(22:32) Appa ex machina, now justfied via bison whistle!
(23:05) Iroh reveals to Zuko that his missing lotus tile was in his sleeve the whole time. Zuko then grabs the tile and throws it in the river. Poor kid just imposed a shaggy dog story on himself.
(23:25) Katara’s full apology to Aang spells out the moral of the story, which also shows that Katara knows exactly what she did wrong that episode. She doesn’t repeat her mistakes, either.
(23:35) With her lesson learned, Sokka returns the scroll so Katara and Aang can both learn - albeit not without a bit more ribbing.

a/n: first time doing this, hope you enjoy!
Tanjiro
Lives in the mountains for the rest of his life because he loves the peace and quiet, but will bring his kids often downtown to meet with uncle Zenitsu and aunty Nezuko
Kids are kinda scared of Zenitsu cause he’s so noisy and hide behind him
Firstborn is a boy, but he will have a lot of children
Sometimes cries at a strange time and place, tells people it’s for no reason at all, but it’s actually because he loves his family so much and can’t picture his life without them
Hand-crafts toys for his children and tools for his wife all the time
Spends at least a brief amount of time with each of his children and listens to their aspirations and dreams with interest
Piggyback rides all day all night
Throwing kids in the air because they find it hilarious and giggle a lot
Tucks them up at night and gives them forehead kisses
Zenitsu
Lives in the town suburbs with Nezuko
Will only have daughters. A lot of them. Probably 4.
“KYAAAAA they are all so gorgeous I am keeping them for myself, Nezuko why are you so beautiful, look what you’ve done askjfkasfha”
Screaming and crying simultaneously every time he talks about them
Gathers all of them in his arms protectively and continues to scream
His daughters respect him, but his reactions always make them laugh
“Papa calm down, please stop crying, we’re not going to leave you”
They group hug him a lot
He buys them clothes and jewelry all the time
Every time Nezuko mentions how they will marry well because they’re indeed very beautiful, he gets triggered. The air around him starts to crackle.
Inosuke
Lives in a hut in the heart of the mountain
Has no idea how to be a parent
Something weird and small is following him around all the time, it kinda looks like him
Annoying, can’t keep up, always needs saving
Predators often think the baby is food. Predators end up sliced in pieces.
Baby ends up being a daughter. A very stubborn one.
They end up fighting each other for 10 hours a day. Fights end with blood and heavy breathing. There’s a lot of yelling.
Daughter loses fights up until one day when she wins and he’s silent for a week
She later finds him pig assaulting a tree, tears in his eyes. She doesn’t ask him why.
Tanjiro’s firstborn gets stuck in a snow-drift at some point and Inosuke’s daughter ends up saving his sorry ass.
Tanjiro’s son is enamored
“I’ll cut your throat, that will shut you up”/ “You’re so beautiful...”
Genya
All babies magically calm down when he’s around
He definitely finds it very weird, but doesn’t say anything about it
Tries to lull his baby to sleep, ends up falling asleep before it
Babies sleep all over him throughout the day, but he’s fine with it. He can remain perfectly still for hours if he has to.
Protec™
Probably great at singing lullabies
Doesn’t mind playing with pink and glittery stuff
Wakes up every day, trying to convince himself he really has a family that loves him
Openly aggressive if someone hurts his kids
Sanemi
Protec Intensifies
Will try to train all his kids for battle from the moment they can walk
But in the brief time between their birth and walking moment, he’s immensely soft
Spends all his time with baby in his arms, shows it off to people
Enjoys having walks with it in spring
“Aww, so cute! Can I touch it?”/ “No.”
Will break your limbs if you decide to touch after all
Intense staring at the baby as it sleeps next to him on the bed, for a few hours
Will play a princess/commander if asked, on condition there isn’t anyone else in the house
Giyuu
Started crying the moment the baby was born, three years later still crying
Can’t believe he has a family
Thinks he’s trapped in a good dream and is anxious that it will end some time
“I did nothing to deserve this”
“Is it okay to be this happy?”
Probably has twins, boy and a girl. Cries about it.
Poor at handling basic baby-care tasks, but his love is profound and the babies feel it because they rarely cry for long
Spends hours watching over them, makes him cry
Sometimes takes both of them in his lap and sits outside on the engawa, watching as it rains or snows
Thinking about their future makes him nervous so he holds them close and sighs, promising to be there for them no matter what
Kyojuro
The most fun dad ever
Drops everything to spend time with his kids, no matter how important his task is
Goes into wild places and teaches them how nature works and how they have to be in harmony with it
Always tells the most intriguing, cool stories at night before bed. Kids make him tell more and he never refuses. It always ends up very late before anyone falls asleep
Has unnecessary amounts of pets in his house, always shelters strays and kids love it
Gets incredibly sad seeing any of his children fight and never says anything about it, but they notice and apologize to one another and to him
A just dad, every game and every chore is done and assessed fairly
Uzui
Has at least 8 kids
Probably has favorites and it shows
Forgets birthdays, sometimes names
Mostly annoyed cause there’s less time for sex and it’s inconvenient around so many kids
Devoted tho
Will do anything for his kids
“All my kids need to learn how to be more✨flamboyant✨”
The great amounts of love he receives from everywhere makes him very, very happy
When he’s surrounded by this warmth, he’d forget how annoying kids are most of the time and he’d find any of his wives right away
“I want another one”
“Uzui, I told you yesterday Suma is already pregnant again”
“But you’re not.”
Iguro
Secretly hopes none of his kids look like him
Only first one out of two does so he’s only semi-bitter
Feels very guilty and sorry to put Mitsuri through pregnancy both times
Is extremely anxious for 9 months, falls ill with worry while she’s near labor date
Mitsuri ends up taking care of him and thinking it’s very cute
Labor goes smoothly every time because she’s strong, but he can’t help the worry
Is constantly fascinated with the very concept of having kids and that they love him unconditionally
Ready to die for them any time
A harsh and strict dad
Self-loathing intensifies after he’s being harsh and strict and he goes to Mitsuri’s and his room, where he can be privately upset about it
Himejima
Externally, calmest dad in the history of calm dads
Internally, in eternal agony over past memories of personal failure concerning kids
Spends a lot of time trying to banish fears that some events might repeat and thus punish him for his failures
Will protect his children with his life, of course
Loves hearing them laugh or just being noisy around him
Smallest daughter loves sitting in his lap and babbling to him about tiny bugs she’s seen in the forest
Sometimes she’d bring said bugs in her hand and place them on his palm so that he can feel them and tell her what he thinks
Most of his children dream of life in the city so they all end up living there except the smallest daughter
Her love for her dad and nature is too strong so she remains with him and looks after him till he’s old
Eventually marries, but she and her husband still live in his house

personal update
hey everyone :) A long personal post ahead, mainly about my current goals and what I am working on personally (nonsims-related). Something I want to get off my chest first: I’m not very political on this blog, mainly because I am the type of person who takes bad news very close to heart. I do not always have the energy to face all the bad in the world and mostly need this blog to be a happy bubble for me. But I do of course have opinions and I care about the environment and about equal rights for all people, no matter which race, sexual orientation, or nationality. I am against oppression of any kind and I am also anti-war. Everything bad that is happening right now really makes me sad, angry and anxious. I try to avoid media and news, but of course I get enough news simply by being online. I try to focus on little things I can do to help (signing petitions, mainly).
I also need to help myself to become stronger, and this is what I am working on right now. I am in the process of establishing new daily routines that give me more energy and motivation for the day. I use two apps which help me with that, Finch and Fabulous. More detailed info about the apps at the bottom of the post! I will see how they will benefit me in the long run, so far they help a lot though. I stuggle with structuring my day and routinely doing chores, and an unstructured day means that I am reluctant to set personal goals, because I often do not achieve them. I fail at continually working towards them. Little energy and anxiety often get in the way of goals too and makes stuff even harder.  I really need that structure so that I can do a lot of household tasks routinely and can focus more on achieving the bigger goals. I am starting with a morning routine, which mainly includes exercise (that word alone can make me shudder!). The app Fabulous has really helped with that one though. I hate to force myself to do anything. I have a very rebellious side in me that does not want to suffer! So I have to get very creative sometimes to convince myself that things are actually fun and not exhausting. This is where dancing comes in. I really love to dance, but I rarely had the opportunity to do so. I tried a dance class once and it was a disaster (apparently I am not good at coordinating stuff and my partner, a college friend I had at the time, was also very self-conscious about showing our progress in front of the class. So when it came to it, he simply refused to dance with me in front of the class and I was mortified (I thought he did not want to show off because I was so bad!) Needless to say, I was done with dance classes after that. But back to the present. The Fabulous app required me to pick an exercise, something easy and fun, just for 5-15 minutes. I thought it was not fun and easy for me to get out my yoga mat every day and attempt to revive my rusty yoga knowledge, and running was out of the question, since I have to leave the house for that, so... dancing? Dancing! And I started to do a little dance every day, just me feeling the moment and getting into the groove. And I did not realize how much freaking fun I have while dancing! I do not care that I basically do squats and exhaust myself and start to sweat (I kinda hate sweating), but while I am dancing, I don’t care! I am so happy that I found an exercise that works for me. At some point, I want to do exercises which actually build up the muscles in a controlled way, but for now, I’ll just dance. It is definitely better than doing nothing and does give me an energy and motivation boost at the start of the day. I also want to create structure in my day so I can find a way to make my commissions/donating patterns for all-system work. I actually lost myself in the details, got way ahead of myself and I have to boil everything down to the basics again first. This will take time for me and the last thing I want to do is stress myself out because of this. It should be a fun project, so when it stops being fun I have to take a step back. I hope you all can understand. I am sorry that I got so carried away in the spur of the moment. That happens when I want to be more spontaneous, but I notice that it does not always work out, since I am not a “just wing it”- person. I am still very proud that I managed to do just this with my Advent calendar, but it seems I can’t just completely change the way I work projects suddenly. And it turned to out to be that elephant of a project that I never anticipated to get this big. I have to really break it down into smaller steps. I also have this fear that nobody is actually is interested in the system I am putting so much work in, so that’s something I have to think about too, if this all worth it. I started to design a survey to ask about this and when I get around to finishing that, I am looking forward to your input on this matter! As always, I appreciate your support and thank you for reading my marathon posts! 💜
Detailed App Infos:
Finch is a daily goal planning app that allows you to set goals for the day and reflect on them. By completing goals, you give energy to your pet bird. If it has enough energy, it will go on an adventure. After returning, it will have learned something and will ask your input. By giving advice to it, you can shape its personality. The bird will grow over time too and age up, according to your completed goals. There are no negative consequences if you do not complete your goals! The app is not pressuring you in any way and adapts to whatever pace you need and allows you to track personal goals and show you statistics based on word tags. I also love the breathing exercises that can help calm me down whenever I feel stressed. This is one of the most well-designed apps I have come across. I am thoroughly impressed with this one! It is so flexible and customizable, but also gives you a good foundation of things to do to get started. If you want to check out Finch, you can use my invite code HLGMBSCR1V to get some extra rainbow stones which you can use to buy outfits for your little bird. I will get some bonus stones too! I do not get paid for saying all this, but I just have to rave about this one. Fabulous is more rigid in that it has predefined programs you go through that gradually add steps and really encourages and motivates you along the way. It is good if you want more guidance. You pick the main goal you want to achieve and let the app guide you towards it. It does not allow to set personal goals the way finch does and it is not daily planner, but an app to develop healthy habits every day. It provides you with background information and guides you to personalize your goals and make them feel tailored to you.

Night night
Beetlejuice jerks it while watching you sleep again cuz someone asked me to
Musical beetlejuice x reader
Nsft content
Its been a good few days since you've last seen your undead pal, the ghoul claimed he had a business meeting in the netherworld, though you still dont believe the demon had a legit paying job, the man was a freeloader, not that you minded, you enjoyed his presence, more so then youd like to admit to be honest, okay so maybe you thought of him on those long sleepless nights, not that youd ever say it out loud.
You were a coward with those feelings, beetlejuice was impossible to read, the heavy flirting, the touching, who's to say he wasnt just messing with you.
You sigh as you continue to fold your laundry, normally on quiet days like this, when you were alone, youd try to catch up on chores since there were no distractions nor interruptions.
Your mind begins to wander with this simple mindless task, so you didmt exactly notice as you room gets colder and the air gets heavier.
"Honey, I'm home~" a familiar voice growls in your ear
You Yelp at the surprise, and fumble with the shirt you were folding, before spinning around to see the culprit.
There stood beetlejuice, smug as ever, a big toothy grin, amber eyes practically glowing, spots of pink emerging from his hair, both head and face.
"BEETLEJUICE"
"Oh how I missed that sound~ that sweet sound on my favourite breather screaming" he moans leaning back circling his own nipples.
You suppress a laugh, not wanting to give the demon encouragement for making a fool out of you.
"Welcome home" you sigh, before turning back to gather up the folded laundry and place it in the basket.
Unbeknownst to you the ghoul has let the soft pink spots take full control of his once green hair, a dopey love sick smile now graced his mug, the demon let's out a soft sigh, welcome home, something so soft and simple, it ment nothing when he said it, but from you? You were basically inviting the ghoul to live with you forever, that you considered your home his aswell.
Turning back to the ghoul you smile
"Well?"
Beetlejuice snaps back to reality, raising an eyebrow at you tilting his head as if to focus more on you.
"How was the whole business trip?"
"Oh, that? dull, not even worth discussing" he smoothed back his hair, as if he was whiping the pink away in favour of his default Forest green.
You frown, beetlejuice wasnt exactly open with talking about the netherworld, maybe because he found it boring, being born dead he's probably already had his fill of the place, you shrug it off, not wanting to spoil the mood of your departed friend being back.
"Soooo~ ya miss me?~" the ghoul coos pulling you into a rather enthusiastic dip before leaning in close, puckering his lips and making kissing sounds. You snort out a laugh and try to push beej away.
"Of course I did, as nice as the quiet is, i miss you when you're not around"
You literally had no idea what you were doing to him with all this corny honesty and kindness, all without blackmail or threatening, you openly enjoyed him, bugs and all. No one has ever wanted him for nothing, beetlejuice was powerful so be wanted always had a catch, but not with you.
"Oh~ do you think of me when you're all alone late at night?" He purrs in a mocking tone, as much as beetlejuice was infatuated with you he still enjoyed teasing the hell out of you.
You snort out a laugh trying to escape his grasp
"Come on doll, say you think about me at night~" the demon purrs pulling you close, taking a slight nip of your ear causing you to yelp out.
And as if your yelp was what he was after the ghoul let's you go.
Frazzled, embarrassed, and slightly confused you stumble trying to regain yourself.
"I take it back, I didnt miss you" you mumble
Beetlejuice only laughs "no backies babes"
It wasnt a new thing, beetlejuice teasing you, flirting with you, being up close and personal, you just didnt exactly know if he was joking or being legit, but you didnt mind, you enjoyed his attention, as embarrassing as it was, and let's be honest beetlejuice  was thrilled you enjoyed it, so he could get up close and personal with his favourite breather, now if only he could get you to admit you loved him first.
...
It was nice to have your freeloader back, a few days of peace and quiet are nice, but things do get lonely, so having your ghost back was wonderful, the two of you spend you evening the usual way.
You ordered pizza, beetlejuice scares the piss out of the delivery guy and makes you laugh, the two of you spend hours watching b list horror and joking all the while.
The night was a delight, but fun things couldnt last forever, unlike the demon, you needed to sleep.
"I'm gonna head to bed beej" you yawn.
During your little movie night the ghoul manged to worm his way into your personal space, pulling you into his side, draping an arm around your shoulders.
You squirm your way out of the demon's grasp, beetlejuice grunts in protest, not exactly thrilled with you absence, it's been days since he had you so close, your warmth, your scent, oh how he missed it, hell he already starting to get get hard from that close contact alone.
"Aw come on sweets, you have the day off tomorrow, and I just got back from a long boring trip alone, humor me" he shrugs knowing full well you wont.
You yawn "sorry Bee, I can barely keep my eyes open, we can hang out more tomorrow, night Bj" you waved him goodnight before shuffling to you bedroom.
The ghoul huffs in disappointment, one day you'll agree to stay up all night with him, well, more of you'll TRY to stay up all night with him and fall asleep up against him, gold for teasing.
The ghoul didnt want to continue with watching movies, it wasnt the same without you laughing at his jokes, nor did he want to play video games, again, they weren't fun without you, he COULD bug your neighbors, but he wasnt exactly in the mood.
Raising from his seat on the couch he huffs, it was nice to be back after those soul sucking few days in the netherworld, the ghoul floats over to your bedroom door, phasing his head through the door, unlike breathers the demon could easily see in the dark, there you were out cold, he smirks, you really were tired.
With the coast in clear the ghoul phasing the rest of his form through the door.
Beetlejuice makes his way over to your sleeping form, oh how he missed this, yes the two of you were apart only for a few days, and yes you two have been apart for longer periods of time. But spending time with the Deetz and the maitlands was a different kinda time apart, he wasnt alone, but being in the netherworld? It was lonely, cold, and felt like an eternity, plus he had to deal with his mother. But that unpleasantness was over, and here he was, in his favourite breather's home, where he belonged.
The ghoul hums as he makes his way to your bed, the ghoul floats and adjusts himself, now laying on his side hovering inches above your bed and inches from you.
One of Beetlejuice's favourite late night pass times was watching you sleep, he was a creep with a massive crush on you, both in the sappy way and 'I'm gonna fuck you senseless way'.
"Really missed ya sweets~" he purred in a gravely whisper
"I missed your voice, I missed you laugh, I missed you warmth, i missed you scent-" the ghoul continued with his list as he slowly freed his half hard cock, it's been a few days since he last cleaned his pipes, and being up close and personal with his favourite breather moments earlier really got his motor running.
As lovely as it was for the demon to watch you sleep, another favourite pastime of his was to tend to his personal urges while watching you sleep, an activity he has partook in multiple times.
Electric pink quickly took over the mossy green of his hair, the demon was already buzzing with excitement, pink hue so bright it illuminated the room, Beetlejuice's strokes started off nice and slow, as much as beetlejuice wanted to rush into the fun, he wanted to enjoy his first night back home even more.
Leaning forward the ghoul takes a deep long sniff if your scent "Mmmm" he stifles a moan "I bet you taste as good as ya smell babes" he groand through his clenched teeth.
As hot as the idea of being caught was, having you wake up and see him jerking off only inches away from where you lay, having you be incredibly flattered and turned on at such a gesture and then begging him to fuck you, as hot as that fantasy is, that's what it was, a fantasy, in reality youd probably be sick to your stomach at such a scene and banish him then and there, but hey, a ghoul can dream.
"I bet those pretty hands would feel alot better then mine" he groans, slightly picking up pace.
"Maybe next movie night you could treat me to a little handy J sweets, unless youd prefer to use that cute mouth of yours, you know I'm not picky" he sighs, the image of you getting bored during movie night and getting handsy with the demon was one of his favourite fantasies, simple, yet naughty. Beetlejuice's hips buck into his hand begging him to pick up the pace as his mind wanders to all his dirty fantasies of you, his amber eyes never breaking away from your face.
If the ghoul was good at anything, other then being an absolute pest, it was edging himself. Beetlejuice slows down his strokes, almost as if to stop.
"Ya know doll, anything you'd do to me I'll repay ya, I'm dying again to get my tongue inside that sweet little pussy of yours~ if your panties are any indication you're gonna taste real good~ I'll eat ya out for hours-" beetlejuice freezes as you shift in your sleep, you let out a soft unintelligible noise.
The ghoul let's out a sigh he didnt know he was holding, his hands make their way back to his cock, that sweet little noise, oh how his missed those sounds you uttered in your sleep.
"Oh sugar, the sounds you'll make when old mr beebleboose gets ya riding his cock are going to be beautiful" he moans, the image having you sitting pretty straddling him, cocked buried deep within you, having you do all the movements at first while he admires the way your chest will bounce, and the faces you'll make, until the demon takes charge and pounds mercilessly into you, oh how he dreamed to hear your screams of pleasure and praise on how good the ghoul made you feel.
Beetlejuice's hands were busy at work, tending to his cock as the ghoul's imagination ran wild as he stared at your sleeping face, he was close.
"Oh y/n, FUCK, babes I want- no, i need ya, I need ya so bad sweets, I missed ya so much babes, fuck" beetlejuice babbled as his pace picked up jerking his cock, hips bucking hard to meet his hand.
Beetlejuice leans back into you face, taking another deep inhale of your intoxicating scent, and lingering a tad longer to steal a quick kiss,as much as the ghoul wanted to shove his tongue down your throat this was the best he got.
"Baby, I'm gonna- fuck y/n-" he uttered before he finally blowing his load, splattering his glowing cum all over your bed, it was quite the amount, beetlejuice sighs leaning back and admiring his handy work
"Its been while since I made that much" he lets out a soft chuckle, electric pink hue slowly dying down.
He sighs, as hot as it is to have you sleep in cum covered sheets, you wouldnt be too pleased waking up to see this sticky mess.
With a snap of the demon's fingers the mess vanishes, as disappointing it was to he his work vanish it was for the greater good.
Beetlejuice's gaze moves from your bed spread back to you, his expression changes to a soft toothy smile, soft pink colours taking over his hue, with a snap of his finger his trade mark striped suit was vanished leaving him wearing nothing aside from a pair of striped boxers. Beetlejuice slowly and carefully removes the covers from your body and gently slides in next to you, covering himself up with the freshly 'cleaned' blanket he sighs through his nose, greeted by your delightful warmth, one of his favourite things about breathers, how warm they were.
There was only ONE last little thing to make this welcome back 'party' perfect.
With a snap of his fingers you're sleeping form shifts and slowly crawls into the ghoul's arms before collapsing back into your motionless slumber, beetlejuice smirks at this as his arms wrap themselves around you, possessing someone in their sleep was a little annoying, but little things like that were a peice of cake.
With this pipes cleaned and you in his arms the ghoul was ready for bed,
"Welcome home, home" he muses on the words you beamed at him when he returned to you. "Guess that really rings true huh? Night y/n" he kisses your forehead before finally closing his eyes.
Bonus
You jolt awake moments after beetlejuice has snuck into your bed, anxiety taking over due to the weight about your body that you did not go to bed with, you sigh in relief once you see it was your resident freeloader demon, a tad embarrassed how you ended up cuddling the ghoul you shrug it off, to be honest the nights you were without him were sleepless, it was lonely without him.
You pause for a second before leaning up and giving the ghoul a quick peck on his scruffy cheek before nuzzling back into his soft chest, his hands resting softly on your back.
"Good night Lawrence" you mumble before dozing back off for a long peaceful sleep.

Reiji Sakamaki CG hc's that are way too self-indulgent for their own good
Under the cut bc there's a lot
( DNI if nsfw )
-
-
-
- Before anything else, this man makes the absolute best little snacks <3. Sliced carrots with homemade dressing, fruit salad made just the Right Way (™), and INCREDIBLY gourmet chicken nuggets he buys whole and fresh, then grinds and bakes himself. He's even seasoned the breading, and it all has so much flavor you don't need any dipping sauce, and he gets offended if you ask for it.
- Sitting in front of the TV and doing absolutely nothing is an absolutely horrendous waste of time in his eyes, even when you're regressed. You must be learning something, or at the very least, not dumbing down your mind.
- This man LOVES teaching you things. Usually, he finds it annoying to have to explain simple concepts over and over again (even if his version of simple is different than a human's), but when you're regressed it's different. He just finds it so cute to sit down and teach you basic things you either already know but haven't gone over in a while, or things so below your grade level you can pick it up pretty quickly.
- Eventually, once he finds out that your regression is a continuous thing and not just one time, he starts going full Homeschool mom and sets you up a whole ass curriculum. "If you find yourself regressed while in this household, you must come to me and I will help you with your assigned studies."
- He makes it fun though, way too fun for homeworks sake. Half the time it doesn't feel like you're doing any work at all. He's surprisingly good at making games out of educational lessons. Even with the science/chemistry, where you're a bit ahead (since that's what he deems "most important" to learn, lol) he's just so passionate about the subject and knows it so thoroughly inside and out, it's really easy to understand (he somehow always knows the best way to explain things, and if that doesn't work, he has five other ways of saying the same thing. Inevitably, one of them makes sense).
- You actually find he's more willing to teach you about your experiments in ways you can understand than when you're not regressed. He'll sit you on his lap and flip through his book, and explain in concepts he knows he's already taught you.
- Chores chores chores! This man loves his chores. You're probably already doing tasks for him all the time if you're with him, but that doesn't end if you regress. Instead, he gives you things that are easier to do, like wiping things down, or sweeping.
- You guys 1000% keep a chore chart together, and it is the brightest, messiest, most nonsensical thing, but it makes sense to the both of you, and it has lots of gold stars on it, so it doesn't matter. It was created that way because Reiji assigned you the task of making it, and he said "make sure it is understandable" just a little bit too harshly. So you made it the least understandable chart ever. Once he saw that, he claimed he would punish you. In a dramatic show that he was in charge, he stormed into your little space room, dramatically pulled out a box you kept your coloring books in, and took out your least favorite one. For a full 24 hours! How dare he!
- Then he brought out a plate of lettuce leaves and you snacked on them while you explained the backwards logic of the chart.
- Your regression room!! You have a room in the Sakamaki household just for being regressed. It is the only space you don't have to have 100% organized and color coded and dust free, although you can't leave food in there if you're not eating it. It's filled to the brim with activity books, stuffed animals of the highest quality (they've all been put through the dryer with a very nice smelling softening sheet), and all of your homeschool stuff <3
- The nicknames he has for you are: Princess, sweetheart, rabbit, and most commonly, Belle, because she's your favorite princess. You and him watched Beauty and the Beast on a special occasion (you double convinced him by saying it reminded you of you and him) and he had a lot of very nitpicky things to say. But that just meant he was paying close attention, because he knew it was your favorite, and he called you Belle from then on, and even got you a pretty yellow nightgown.
- He calls you "child" if you're in trouble lol
- You call him "Mister Reiji," or "Professor" if you're in class. He finds both to be adorable.
- He's more playful with you when you're regressed, so you play a lot of imagination games. You somehow, by your improvisation or his, always end up being some kind of princess. It becomes an inside joke between you two, and you both will rue the day you don't magically become one.
- Also he brushes your hair really soft and nice and it's just super calming <3

Wynne's Diary - Touch with Asra
@sweetalnazar
We were clearing out the shop today. Boxes filled with piles of aged magical books, masquerade masks and other important miscellaneous items were stuffed into the crates. Our home was full of countless varied and unique things you can ever imagine or guess of that we needed a separate day to sort the stuff out to what we might need in the future and keep it inside the shop, and then to things that we would not need unless for emergency purposes, which would rightfully be organised in the storehouse we had.
Me and my husband were raiding our shop, basically. Because one, it seemed like a detailed mission, and two, we were extremely tired and filthy from the dust the shop had amassed over time. We accidentally even demolished some of the spider's home webs while brushing so we had to carefully pick the spiders out and leave them outside on the lawn.
Poor arachnids.....they were so adorable and cute. I hope they find a better home soon. Though forming a web was never an easy job.
And so wasn't the task of clearing out such a relatively huge shop and stacking all the articles without damaging even a tinge of any material.
"Wynne, can you help me with this one?" My husband called me from inside the repository. His voice echoed through the walls of the room and reached my ears as a dusted my hands onto my apron and entered the dark room lit just by an orb of esoteric blue fire above.
"Is this the last one to be moved?" I placed my hands on my hips. Asra was crouched near the box as he rubbed his cheek to wipe out the dust and faced me, he had sweat on his brows and he looked pretty exhausted because......
We both had been working for hours. We started somewhere around midday and it's nightfall now.
"Yes...After this one, we can finally rest. I feel very thirsty and I could definitely use some of your lemonade" he huffed and ran his hand through his velvety white hair.
"Lemonade huh....sure. Let's get this over with" I took off the rubber band on my hair and retied it on into a small tail so that my hair doesn't impede much. I squatted down, and got hold of the edge of the box and gradually started to lift it with every strength I had.
Asra supported the other side of the box, and we both coordinated our steps to move the load together outside the storage room. I was not a lifter, and neither was Asra. We could have called Muriel over to help, but he was lying sick on the bed with Portia and Julian both aiding the giant man. So we agreed to not bother him and take the matters to our own ourselves.
It was our mart anyway, so we had to.
"Almost there!" Asra notified. I nodded and pulled in the air to exert the energy left in my arms. I walked patiently back, keeping a watch out to not bump with the other items on the floor and trip on my heel. Asra cautiously followed me, he rasped a bit and used his momentum to get a better grip of the end.
He knew that I was not much physically substantial, so he made sure to not let me take the heavier weight, but watching him take all the burden over himself just like how he always was, made me feel immensely culpable.
Asra was always like this. Votive, generous, selfless. These were very good traits in him, no doubt in that. But sometimes, he overdoes it, and that was not at all acceptable by me. He from time to time needs to know that his own self is as significant as everyone else he cared about. He needs to realize that at the end of the world, he would only have himself with him, and he better give a fuck about it sooner than repent it at later moments.
But.....I was not in the right niche to teach him such a lesson.
Because I wouldn't be the educator of this topic, I would be a student since there was hardly any difference in both of our sentiment towards our loved ones.
Votive, generous, selfless......
We both were a bunch of crackheads.
"Oof! Finally, everything is done. The shop barely changed, but at least it holds less weight than previously" Asra slumped onto the couch and caught his breath, his chest rhythmically rising and sinking with the teal pendant on his bosom.
Faust and Ichigo weren't home today. They both had gone to take a stroll around Vesuvia as we toiled. We didn't worry about both of them too much since they were proper grown-ups and can handle themselves faultlessly, unlike us both who can't even watch out for cobwebs and prevent ourselves to mercilessly annihilate them.
I still feel sad about them.......poor babies...
"Ahh...." I heard him groan and hold his shoulder.
"What's the matter?" I asked him.
"My shoulders ache a lot. My arms too. Looks like a overworked myself. They feel quite fatigued" he tried gearing his joints only to wince in discomfort.
"Ugh, don't aggravate it. That would make it worse. Relax your shoulders, and try to slowly roll them to get some movement" I instructed him sternly.
"I can't. They stiffened up. I cannot even properly move them without feeling a lot of stings" he complained to me, still grabbing onto his ailing shoulder.
I watched him cynically and shook my head, sighing and closing my eyes, rubbing my own furrowed brows. He was seriously acting like a whiny child crying over a tiny scratch. But despite my dubiety, I did not blame him. It was true he did a lot of work today. He shifted hefty stuff, helped me tidy up the inside of the storehouse and shelves along with the rest of the two-storeys, and also renovated the mattress, sheets and curtains with new and clean ones. I couldn't have done all of them without Asra, and I did owe him enough to alleviate him from his post-pain.
"Turn your back" I ordered him again.
"O-Oh.... alright" he did as I told him. I cracked my knuckles and trudged towards him and sat near him, facing his back.
"Take your shirt off," I told him next. He obeyed me and dropped the piece of clothing in front of him. I tenderly skimmed his back, caressing his spine and feeling the bumps of his vertebrate. My nails trailed along his tanned back and I felt his shivers reverberating through my finger pads. His skin was soft like the petals of blossoms and tempting to sense as a downy kitten's fur.
And he was even kissable as a child's rosy cheek.
I shifted a little closer to him, grasping his shoulders carefully in my hands and enclosing my fingers around his shoulder blades. I lightly applied pressure on my palms and squeezed his shoulders. Asra lightly grumbled in return, and I continued my work around that area and his neck. I handily massaged his tendons and muscles, untying all the tangles and applying the right amount of force as not to cause too much throb on him.
"Mmmahh.....Wynne....." He sizzled. It didn't sound like a wince of pain but of genuine contentment and pleasure. He finally let himself loose under my hands as he leaned back onto my shoulder, closing his eyes and moaning against my neck. I softly chuckled and laid a peck on his nose as I kept pummelling onto his other aching places.
I moved from his neck to his arms and shoulders, and I sensually kneaded his well-built limbs and fondled with his biceps in-between my fingers. I pressed every spot of his arms and started laying butterfly kisses upon his neck and below his ear. He lightly purred from my touch, succumbing to my soft seduction as I nibbled onto his ear, and my hand slid up from his chest to hold his chin and the other reached down to twiddle with his nipple.
"Ohhh...Wynne....." He bit his lip, his cheeks dusted pink from impulse.
"Yes, darling~?" I whispered into his ear and took the opportunity to bite on his earlobe and pull it faintly with my mouth.
"Aahhh! please.....more......I want more" he pleaded to me. I gazed into his eyes, they were clouded with submission and fervour. He wanted to keep up with this play of pinch and flirt with me, and he wanted himself to be under my mercy and decree till I break him to his brim by making him reach his peak ecstasy and orgasm.
And who would refuse such an offer?
Well, the answer is simple.
I would.
Before he could make any other move, I promptly pulled myself back and stood up on my feet as Asra landed back on the sofa with a thud.
"Pervert" was all I said before I made my way to the kitchen to fetch him the spiced lemonade he was craving ever since he finished his work, and a playful smirk was visible throughout on my lips. It's not that I didn't want to continue exciting him, I stopped because I want this to be on a day where no chore, nonentity, and no interference come in the middle. I wanted the day we make love to be untarnished, ripe and vehement, where no one coaxed to unnerve us.
As far as I can remember, Asra's face was priceless by the heckler finale I gave him. He was completely bamboozled and hoodwinked, and damn I loved it. The taunting was one of my greatest pastimes, and working it out on Asra was even more fun. Why do you ask? Because he always gives the most adorable and unparalleled ripostes than anyone I had ever known, and it was always mirthful at which I can chortle about for hours and never forget it ever in my life.
Maybe one such day will arrive when he would be fortunate enough to receive my full attention.....one day..........
And I'm desperately but patiently waiting for it.

Why Twilight Princess is the Best Zelda Game (To Me!)
Hey ya’ll,
I know I don’t really talk about video games that much. I really should though! Video Games have been a huge part of my life for pretty much as long as I can remember.
Tumblr media
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is a game that means so much to me I can scarcely put it into words. I was 10 years old when this game came out, the perfect age in my opinion. I think if I had been any older or younger it might have slipped past my radar. Despite the game being rated T for Teen, my parents got it for me and my sister anyway which I think is pretty fucking rad.
Not that we really knew what we were in for, of course. I was just a kid. I didn’t read game reviews yet, and I didn’t have any friends who had played this game so I couldn’t ask them about it either. When we first popped that disc in and were brought to the main menu, we had absolutely NO idea just what kind of ride we were in for or how just how much this game would impact us.
Another thing I’d like to mention was how this game was introduced into my life at the perfect time. My sister and I had just moved schools. We were the new kids, and we had a lot of trouble adjusting and fitting in. There was definitely some teasing, maybe even some bullying. I don’t remember much from those days to be honest. But you know what I do remember? Playing Twilight Princess. This game was the perfect distraction from my crappy school life, and in a time where my sister and I barely had any friends, it was so comforting. We’ve always been close, but I think we bonded a lot over this game.
If you’re a gamer, you know this feeling; the feeling when you are currently playing a game that is just so fun, so amazing, so utterly addicting in the best possible way; that when you’re away from it it’s all you can think about. I distinctly remember my Dad installing the new TV which meant no Twilight Princess for a day or so. I was SO impatient and I just couldn’t wait for him to be done so I could continue playing it.
Even though I’ve now played Twilight Princess so many times that I could basically play it with my eyes closed (maybe lol) I still remember experiencing some of the best moments of the game for the very first time; running around Ordon Village, finding Midna, beating the first dungeon, finding out that GANONDORF was in the game! (Remember I had no way of knowing this at the time). Every big moment, every discovery, every heart-wrenching cut scene, it all felt so real and so important at the time. In a lot of ways, it still is.
Okay, so that’s the personal part. A bit long-winded, I know. I just thought it was important to include for this essay. But what is it about Twilight Princess that makes it so special? Why do I love it so much even after 15 years? (God that makes me feel old). This list isn’t really in a particular order but I will definitely be covering a lot of the BIG reasons why I adore this game so much. Oh, and in case you’re a little late to the party, there will be spoilers. Let’s go!
 Darker and More Mature:
There’s something really enticing about being a kid, and witnessing something in a movie, video game, etc. that you know you probably shouldn’t have watched but you did anyway. Not only is Twilight Princess the only Zelda game to date that is Rated T (I’m pretty sure anyway), but it has some seriously dark and disturbing moments throughout the story; including one VERY creepy cut scene about halfway through the game that still haunts me a little to this day. Beyond that, you’ve got painful transformation sequences, characters being stabbed, characters sacrificing themselves, and a scene where I’m pretty sure Ganondorf’s neck just gets fucking broken. I can go on, but the point is this Zelda game does not screw around when it comes to showing intense moments and it’s all the better for it. I never felt the game went too far with it, but let’s say Twilight Princess definitely earned its T rating.
 Wolf Form:
I’m sure people who haven’t even played TP know that this is probably the biggest defining feature. In this game, Link gains the ability to turn into a Wolf! I know some people might consider these parts of the game to be boring and not as fun, but I have always disagreed with that notion. I think it’s a really cool and out of the box way to break the somewhat repetitive gameplay of traditional Zelda games. There’s more of a puzzle-solving element to these Wolf sections, and I for one find it very satisfying to collect the Tears of Light. Turning into your Wolf form becomes essential, especially towards the latter half of the game when you need to complete tasks that you couldn’t normally do as a human. Plus…Wolf Link is pretty darn cute! His design is awesome too.
 MIDNA!!!:
And speaking of Wolf Link, around the same time Link gains this ability he also meets a character who (in my opinion) is THE BEST Zelda sidekick/companion across all the games. She’s not annoying, she’s not boring; Midna is a 3-Dimensional, fully fleshed out character that plays a crucial role in the story. I can’t imagine anyone playing this game and NOT getting attached to Midna. I know I certainly did. In the first half of the game you don’t really know that much about her, but she is certainly helpful gameplay-wise and doesn’t just give you the same useless hint over and over. Plus, the SASS! My God, Midna is so sassy I love her so much. I love how she grows and changes and becomes a better person by the end of the story. Midna really deserves her own game!
 A Beautiful Game:
Now obviously this doesn’t just apply to Twilight Princess. Most Zelda games are very beautiful, especially the more modern ones such as Breath of the Wild. However, there is something about the specific beauty of Twilight Princess that just takes my breath away. The scenery is just gorgeous everywhere you go. Ordon Village is beautiful, Hyrule Field is stunning, Snowpeak is captivating, the Fishing Hole is serene, you get the picture. And to top it all off, Twilight Princess STILL looks beautiful even after all these years. The graphics have aged really well which is certainly no hindrance. As a kid I always wished that some of the locations were real, and honestly, I still kinda do.
 Best version of Ganondorf:
It’s funny; I don’t normally root for villains. I tend to gravitate towards more heroic characters or characters that are more similar to me. Ganondorf is certainly the exception; specifically the Ganondorf that we see in Twilight Princess. I remember being SO EXCITED when he first appeared in a cut scene after Arbiter’s Grounds. I don’t know if it’s the way he was introduced, the raspy laugh, or his character design, but I LOVE Ganondorf in this game. He is just so bad-ass, so cool, my only wish is that we saw a little bit more of him in TP. Regardless, every time he shows up in the game, he is a formidable and dominating screen presence. And I feel no shame whatsoever admitting that 10 year old Sam developed a massive crush on this Ganondorf. Is that weird? I dunno, but either way he is just so cool as well as a fantastic addition to an already perfect game.
The Soundtrack:
Again, it’s not unusual for a Zelda game to have a really fantastic soundtrack. The series has always had amazing music since the very first game. However, the music in Twilight Princess continues to entrance me even to this day. The Main Menu theme? Amazing. Midna’s theme? Amazing. Lake Hylia? Amazing. And don’t even get me started on those beautiful Wolf Songs you sing throughout the game. It’s just a beautiful soundtrack. To say it’s nostalgic for me is a massive understatement.
Dungeon Design:
Unsurprisingly, most Zelda games tend to recycle the same temple themes over and over again. You got your forest temple, your fire temple, water, desert, time, etc. These are definitely present in Twilight Princess, but there’s something about the way they’re designed and the way you move through them that just feels so unique and wonderful. I won’t name them but I’ve played other Zelda games where the dungeons felt like a horrible, tedious chore. With TP, I never felt that was the case. Every Dungeon is packed full of secrets, with plenty of interesting set pieces to explore. Even the water temple (YES, the Water Temple!) is enjoyable to play through. The Dungeons have tons of replay value as well, meaning that you can return later and find special items that you weren’t able to access before.
And just as a fun bonus, here’s my top nine list for the Twilight Princess Dungeon’s:
9) City in the Sky
8) Palace of Twilight
7) Hyrule Castle
6) Temple of Time
5) Lakebed Temple
4) Forest Temple
3) Snowpeak Ruins
2) Goron Mines
1) Arbiter’s Grounds
And that about wraps it up, folks! Sorry this was such a long essay, I had so much to say. It is, after all, my favourite video game ever. Of course it’s not technically perfect and it definitely has some flaws. But you know what? It’s perfect to me, and I’ll never get sick of it.
Thank you so much for reading! :) Listen to this track of the opening theme and tell me you don’t feel it in your SOUL!!!

Pairing: Peter x Reader
Summary: Pirates are planning an attack and all hands are on board to prepare for battle...maybe even the wrong hands.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 Part 9 Part 10 Part 11 Part 12 Part 13 Part 14 Part 15 Part 16 Part 17 Part 18 Part 19 Part 20 Part 21 Part 22 Part 23 Part 24 Part 25 Part 26 Part 27 Part 28 Part 29 Part 30
Now that Bae had “escaped” the island, it was just a waiting game.
Waiting for him to grow up and meet the product of true love so that they could create the truest believer.
Peter of course kept his eyes on this but there was very little he could do to hurry things along, no matter how much he wished he could have.
You wished that there was something you could do to help him, but there wasn’t anything that you could do either; plus you weren’t sure if he wanted to talk to you at all at this point.
Now that you and Rufio were an item.
It seemed like things around camp were still trying to find a new way to operate; everyone was walking on eggshells either around Pan or you and Rufio. Despite how often you assured the Lost Boys that you no longer harbored any ill feelings for your ex.
Of course you and Peter weren’t exactly friendly enough to spend time together away from camp business but you were at least able to speak with each other directly, which was a huge improvement.
Business was all it was though, it was like he had decided to keep you at an arm's length, and you understood why.
You couldn’t stand to even see him walking toward Wendy’s hut back when you had first divorced, you couldn’t imagine seeing him with her the way he saw you with Rufio.
Laughing by fires, playfully wrestling during training and sneaking off to your little hide away for more...intense making out.
To his credit Peter never seemed to hold a grudge against Rufio, not that he really could without being obvious. Rufio was a great addition to the Lost Boys; he was an amazing hunter and he had even begun training other boys in acrobatics, showing them how to use the trees of Neverland to their advantage.
Things were tense but they were working, you were happy.
Only one thing seemed to be an issue… Wendy.
She had apparently complained and whined enough about feeling cooped up in that hut that Pan had finally caved and given her one simple task.
Berry and herb collecting.
The most basic chore, and it had been basically marked as pointless since the pirates delivered plenty of food and herbs, but the little twit felt like she was contributing to the camp.
You were sitting down skinning today’s kill when Wendy came and sat next to you, staring at you wordlessly.
‘What do you want?’ you asked in annoyance as you stayed focused on the rabbit you were busy with.
‘I want to be friends with you.’ she said quickly.
‘Why? Because I’m the only girl here, want to braid each other’s hair and talk about all the cute boys here?’  you scoffed.
‘No…’
You looked at her from the corner of your eye.
‘Well, we don’t have to braid hair or talk about boys...but it would be nice to be friends with at least one person here, and I have nothing in common with the boys.’ Wendy confessed.
‘You have nothing in common with me, other than what’s between your legs.’
‘That can’t be true, my mother always told me every woman has something in common with another.’
‘Really? Have you ever shot an arrow, or been hit by one?’ you asked.
‘No!’ Wendy gasped in horror.
‘Skinned any squirrels?’
‘No.’
‘Then not a lot in common.’
‘Have you ever...bled through your skirts?’ Wendy tried.
The laugh that shot out of you nearly startled you, you had never thought that she would bring up the thing one the two of you would have in common.
‘Of course I have!’ you laughed.
As you continued to laugh Wendy joined in as well and you thought of how confused all the boys must be to see the two of you laughing together, and that just made you laugh harder.
‘Oh my God! Sit down you daffodil, if you can handle the shit show that is your period then you can handle skinning a few squirrels.’ you invited, handing her a squirrel and a skinning knife.
The girl looked horrified, but she took the two items, holding them like they were poisonous.
‘We are not friends, but I think your life here would be better if you stopped being so soft. That’s why the boys are so annoyed by you, you try to apply your stupid manners to them; manners that mean dog shit in a place like this.’ you explained as you showed her how to cut through the skin and pull it off in one go.
‘I know...it's just hard to forget how I was raised.’
‘Where you from Wendy, Oz? Boys from there always seem to be more polite.’ you conversed as you watched her struggle to remove the skin like you showed her.
‘Oz...no I’m from England.’
‘England? As in my world? Do you know anything about America?’ you asked, suddenly interested.
‘America? Yes I believe that’s where the bad people are sent to work.’ she said as she finally completed her task, proudly showing off her feat.
‘Yikes so you are from WAY back in the day.’ you sighed.
The two of you conversed while you skinned the game, Wendy of course sticking to the smaller animals while you tackled the deer and boar.
Eventually Rufio came up to you and kissed your cheek.
‘Stop it, I'm busy.’ you smiled, making no move to push him off.
‘What if I came to help? Can I stay then?’ he asked, holding up his own knife.
‘Depends, did you sharpen all the weapons, that was your chore for the day.’
Your boyfriend made a completely offended face, showing you his knife again.
‘Look at this beauty, have you ever seen a blade so sharp? I think I might cut myself just by looking at it.’ he boasted.
‘It is a lovely piece of work.’ Wendy spoke up politely.
Rufio sent her a look as if he was only now seeing her right there, then he looked over to you in confusion.
‘We’ve found common ground over the fact that both of our vaginas shed.’ you smiled.
‘Great...is this that feminism you told me about?’ he asked as he took hold of a boar and started skinning it.
‘Part of it.’ you answered.
The three of you made basic small talk as you skinned all your animals and once you were finished Tootles came to take them and make jerky.
‘I don’t understand why everyone still hunts, the pirates bring us plenty of food.’ Wendy said.
‘Keeps my boys sharp, I don’t need a camp full of fat lazy hormonal idiots. This island would eat them alive, and Pan has a reputation that is bound to lead someone with bad intentions our way. If my parents did me any favors it was teaching me to always be prepared for a shit show.’ you said.
‘And it’s fun, not like there is anything else to do but beat the hell out of each other and descend into chaos. We need the organization.’ Rufio said as you all looked over at a random brawl that was taking place.
‘This is organized?’ Wendy asked in horror.
‘Completely organized.’ Felix said as he approached your little trio.
‘Oh looky here, where have you been Fruitcake?’ Rufio smiled.
‘With Pan.’ the scarred boy replied.
‘With Pan as in...with Pan.’ you teased, lowering the tone in your voice.
‘As in we have real business to discuss, come on I’ll fill you in on the way.’ he said as he walked past.
‘His bedside manner needs a lot of work.’ you sighed as you bid your boyfriend and Wendy farewell.
Felix led you toward Peter’s Thinking Tree, a place you were not too fond of, considering he had tied you to it when you first met.
‘What’s going on?’ you asked.
‘Pirates, looks like they might be up to something, deliveries are coming later and shorter and they seem to be getting a bit too bold. Pan thinks they might be preparing to attack.’
‘That makes no sense, from how it was explained to me they got a pretty sweet deal with us. Why attack and risk losing it?’
‘They are dumb adults with too much pride.’ Felix said in annoyance.
‘Now that you know what I do, tell me something I don’t know. Like how are things with you and the Rooster.’
‘Things are great, he’s great and he treats me great. Things with him just flow naturally with no rush and no hesitation. I really like him.’ you answered.
‘So it’s boring.’ Felix hummed.
‘No! It is not boring, it's...safe. I like him and he likes me, we get along and he’s sweet and attractive as hell. Nothing is wrong with us, we are a good couple.’ you defended.
‘Safe? Look at where you live...you don’t like safe (Y/N).’ he said.
‘I do like safe, when it comes to relationships. I like knowing that I’m never going to wake up one day and everything between me and Rufio has just...changed. Or worry that the whole time it was all just some scheme.’
‘I can’t speak on whatever Pan’s plans are or were, but I can say he seemed happier with you. I think it was real.’ Felix reasoned.
‘So did I, but then it wasn’t, then he told me it was. It was all such a yo-yo game and I just can’t get back on the string man. Rufio is safe and I like that...I need that.’ you finished.
‘Fine, your business I guess, but my curiosity begs to know...how safe is my friend.’ Felix asked.
‘What do you mean?’
‘How far have you two gotten? The bastard won’t tell me anything.’
‘Well Nosy, if you must know; we’ve done…’ you paused.
‘You’ve done what?’ he urged.
‘...pretty much the same as I did with Peter.’ you grinned as your friend rolled his eyes.
‘So still no real sex, I honestly don’t know how you’ve waited this long, Lord knows I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a good chunk of these boys.’
‘Even Rufio?’ you gasped.
‘Ew no...it’s practically incest, even I have some morality.’ he laughed.
At last you two arrived at the thinking tree and saw Peter sitting at the roots, twirling the vile of fairy dust he wore on his neck.
About a year ago the Thinking Tree went dry and he couldn’t get anymore so he was saving the last of his supply for an emergency. So that meant no more flying for him and you could all tell that it depressed the hell out of him.
‘Felix filled me in. What’s the plan and what do I need to do?’ you asked as you crouched down in front of him.
‘They’re camping near Mermaid Lagoon, which is risky but smart. If I weren’t so clever I’d never expect anyone to anchor their ship in such a dangerous spot and they could creep on through the woods around the Forgotten Forest and ambush our camp.’ Pan explained as he drew a crude map in the dirt to show the path from the Lagoon to your camp.
‘But you are clever, so what are we going to do when they attack?’ Felix asked as he leaned against the tree.
‘Place the archers in the trees, clubs and swords in the bushes, nice and swift battle.
‘Are you kidding me?’ you scoffed.
‘What is wrong with that plan?’ Pan asked.
‘Nothing, if you want casualties and a boring fight no one is going to think about next week.’ you said.
With a slightly disappointed sigh you wiped away his map and drew your own.
‘Move the camp, leave the clearing empty to make the battlefield, have fences built in to trap the pirates in once they arrive. When that is done clubs and swords drop down from the trees; leave the archers on the ground behind the trees and bushes. Once they are ready to flee we let down the fence and send them off knowing not to attack us ever again.’ you explain as you drew out your plan in the dirt.
‘That’s huge.’ Felix said as he also crouched down to look over your plan.
‘It is...so big no one would even think to expect it… but it might be too big. I expect an attack in a matter of weeks. We don’t have time to build fences and move the camp.’ Pan argued.
‘Then I will magic the camp into a new spot and that will give the boys more time to work on the fences.’
‘I can have our best builders working on it now. And the rest can compact the camp so it's easier for (Y/N) to move.’ Felix added.
Peter looked hesitant but he nodded and sent Felix off.
You were considering leaving too but something in your gut was telling you that Peter was upset about something.
‘What’s wrong?’
‘Nothing.’
‘Try that with someone else who doesn’t know you, you’ve been frowning since you heard my plan.’
‘Your plan is great...perfect even.’
‘So what is the issue, do you think it’s too risky?’
‘No, I just...I would have liked to have been a part of it more but I can’t do much to help with how weak my magic is becoming. If it weren’t for my shadow, I wouldn’t have even known something was wrong since I can’t patrol the island anymore.’ he said as he stood up.
‘Hey, you are doing plenty and we will get through this, it’s child’s play.’ you assured him.
‘You don’t need to placate me (Y/N), it doesn’t help. I’ll just keep eyes on the pirates for now and I’ll let you know when they are close.’ Peter said as he turned to walk away.
‘Wait.’
Peter turned back and looked at you.
‘The boys miss you at camp, and now more than ever they are going to want to see you. It’s nice to see the person you follow into battle and I don’t think they want to see you full of doubt.’
‘I doubt they want to see how useless I am now, do you think they follow me because of my winning personality? It’s my power that they respect and I’m losing it (Y/N), once that’s gone I’m going to lose them.’ he said before walking away.
You wished you could say something to say make him feel better but you know deep down he was right. Every single Lost Boy survived their old lives by being cut throat and while here there was an obvious hierarchy you had to imagine a good amount of them still had ambition.
Without Pan at the helm the island would descend into pure chaos and mutiny.
You had to shake away those thoughts and focus on what was happening now; pirate attacks.
There was a lot of work to be done and thankfully Felix wasted no time on briefing the boys on what was about to go down and got them in action immediately.
‘Pull as much as you can into your tents, its easier to move full tents than everything item by item! Move it boys, this isn’t a game, pack this shit in, fill the tent’s to the brim!’ you yelled as you entered the camp.
It was full on panic as everyone was running around picking up everything they could pick up and placing it in tents. Whenever one was full you would send it off to another clearing that was closer to your little room but further from the Lagoon.
You found it so odd sometimes, your magic still felt as strong as it had always been, but Peter’s seemed to fade more and more as the days went on. You imagined it had to do with his ties to that Hourglass and the island.
Eventually the sun was setting, another thing that was odd to you, daylight felt like it only lasted five hours. At first you wanted to chop it all up to time being useless here and you simply losing track of it, but one day you took the time to pay attention and you knew it for sure.
Plants were drying, animals were becoming harder to find, days were shortening and Peter’s magic was weakening...it wasn’t hard for you to put it all together.
The island was dying, and Peter was scared.
With it being dark now and the temperature dropping you let them all turn in, letting everyone know it was going to be an early start tomorrow.
You noticed Wendy hadn’t been helping too much with heavy lifting but it looked like she was at least trying. Took her about thirty seven years but she was finally putting in the effort to try and help around camp.
For the next two weeks everyone was focused on the tasks at hand, building fences and preparing for the attack.
Everything was perfect and everyone was excited for what was sure to be an easy win and an epic battle; even Wendy who was certainly not fighting in it, but she would play a very big part in it.
You had sent her off to make sure the tents were being sent to the right clearing, in other words you were getting her out of the way.
What you didn’t plan on  was her being dumb enough to get lost in the Forgotten Forest, the one place even Pan’s shadow couldn’t navigate and you certainly didn’t think the Pirates were also that foolish.
But at last they were, and they did cross paths.
Wendy stood before this large group of filthy men and their weapons and she felt frozen with fear as they looked at her, taking in her stupid cute dress and defenseless self.
‘Well boys looky what we have here, I guess even Pan needs to have his needs met.’ Hook smiled dangerously as he approached the frozen girl.
He raised his hook and threateningly slid it down her face, leaving a trail of reddened skin in his wake.
‘P-please don’t.’ she said as a tear fell from her eyes.
‘Oh sweetheart what do you think of us? We would never hurt such a young...cooperative girl like you.’ he said with a dark look.

Note
some of your post/reblogs were so relatable to me that more and more I think I may have ADHD (I'm like, at least 70% sure of this and the 30% is me searching for a psychiatrist/therapist that I can trust/afford, anyway) so, since your how to essay post Im talking myself to ask if you have some study tips or tips to focus, anything to help, really. I'm in college and I can't focus to read 2 paragraphs which makes me anxious and makes me procrastinate because I can't study and I HAVE to study so I avoid everything but then I think NOW I have even less time to study and I got stuck in this circle. And because I can't read anything I also cant bullshit my way writing papers that I have to so I don't do this too, so I'm just spiraling more and more with this which also doesn't help with the depression. And I'm so, so SORRY to dump my problems on you (this isn't my intention here) but if you have some tips or don't mind talking about what you do to study I really appreciate it with all my heart.
oh friend, i’m so sorry to hear you’re goin through that, it’s EXTREMELY relatable tho. everything you just wrote basically sums up my entire first year of university (just add in a couple dozen spiralling panic attacks on the basement floor and you’ll be me), and while i wish i had advice i could promise would solve the issue, i don’t... know? that i would recommend doing exactly what i did? because while i made it through university with ridiculously good grades, i also exacerbated a pre-existing anxiety disorder to the point where i literally could not bear being alive for a while there.
but for whatever it’s worth, and bearing in mind that you need to prioritize your own well-being WAY above whatever grades you get on a stupid piece of paper, here’s some tips on how to get through course readings, based on what i’ve learned through blood, tears, trial and error:
don’t read the full two paragraphs, to start. ADHD makes reading academic articles hell, but (and i genuinely don’t know if this is possible for anyone else, the chemical cocktail of debilitating anxiety that was my brain at the time made me do things i otherwise couldn’t and definitely shouldn’t) i did manage to finagle a way to make it work for me.
See, the thing about academic papers is that they’re very nicely organized. every paragraph is dedicated to making an individual point, which is introduced at the beginning and summarized, more or less, towards the end. this means you can get a very handy-dandy trick, because here’s the thing about ADHD brains: we’re VERY GOOD at making connections.
so here’s the trick: you don’t actually have to read the paragraphs. Not the full ones, anyway.
Let’s break it down:
First, what is the overall reading meant to address? What’s the title of the book or article? Is there a heading or subtitle to provide you with extra information?
Second, what is the thesis statement in your paragraph? Yes, every essay has a thesis statement, but every paragraph also has a specific point to make, which is stated in a sort of mini-thesis, typically right at the beginning.
Once you know this thesis statement, the rest of the paragraph is just fleshing out and providing evidence for that statement. You can keep reading if you need more information to understand what the author’s getting at, but once you’ve got that thesis statement, the rest is just there to get in your way.
For neurotypicals, I think, it’s maybe necessary to read this stuff all the way through? I don’t know. What I do know is that, for ADHDers, we tend to be very, very good at making extrapolations from very minimal information, based on all the surrounding context.
You don’t need to do the full readings. You just need to read the first sentence, process what it’s saying, and skip over the rest.
(if the first sentence of the paragraph is nonsense to you, don’t panic. often the first sentence or even the whole introductory paragraph is intentionally confusing, so if there’s something you don’t understand, disregard it and move on to the second sentence, or the next paragraph.
this happens often, because a lot of academic writing is just a power play on the part of the writer. “Look How Smart I Am Compared To You, You Have To Work So Hard To Figure Out What I’m Saying,” etc. Don’t buy it, tho--the true measure of intelligence isn’t how thoroughly you can confuse someone else, it’s how effectively you can share the knowledge you have. Intelligence is useless if you can’t share it.
Do whatever you can to make it through essential readings, but don’t be intimidated by them. If you can’t understand them, it’s not because you aren’t “smart enough,” it’s because they’re badly written.)
Final notes: this process is meant to walk you through reading papers, but it also lowkey applies to a lot of insurmountable tasks in academia.
You look at a 5-page paper, look at your attention span, and immediately despair because yeah, that’s impossible. The solution is not to expand your attention span, because that’s also impossible. So, instead, don’t look at the 5 pages.
Look at an impossible task, and break it down into its smallest pieces.
Don’t look at the 5 pages, don’t even look at the first two paragraphs. Make a plan for how reading a single paragraph might be possible for you (in this case, break the paragraph down into its own components, and skim over most of them in favour of reading only the most necessary portions). Then focus on finding those one or two sentences you need in the very first paragraph. That’s doable.
You do that, and then you move onto the next.
It’s extremely difficult, especially for ADHDers, to limit your mental vision to the most immediate task and stop looking at the big picture, but it’s also necessary. If you can find a way to make the smallest tasks possible for you, you can break the big, impossible ones down until they’re made of tiny chores. You can do tiny chores. You can read one sentence, take five minutes to process it, but you can read it. That’s all you need to be able to do.
Read one sentence. Skip the rest. Move on to the next paragraph. Repeat.
That’s the real secret, the one that got me through university. It’s impossible to complete a biology lab, it’s impossible to read this entire interminable textbook, so don’t think about the impossible tasks. Think about the single step directly in front of you, focus entirely on that, and eventually, the impossible tasks will be done.
(The other thing I recommend is not taking a full courseload. Please, please, please make sure that in addition to getting your schoolwork done, you also have enough time left over for you to truly relax, and not feel guilty for doing so. If you’re getting intrusive thoughts halfway through an essay, but instead of terrible things you’re thinking about your latest favourite TV show and feel like your brain is thirsty to watch it? You’re working too hard. Take it from someone who ignored their own mental needs until it wrecked them past the point of continuing--burnout is not fun, and you deserve to protect yourself from it. Take it slow. Your wants are just as important as your needs, and both are way more important than your schoolwork.)
