[DAY 10] masterlist ᡣ𐭩 !

As soon as the bell rings sungchan is out the door, waving his friends goodbye as he makes his way to the local library that was only a block away from his current location. There, he was going to return his book that he had borrowed from the kind librarian, before making his way to the rows and rows of long shelves, pondering to himself what he was going to read next.

If he was actually going to read it.

Sungchans been coming to the library for a week straight now, not to find nice literature that could wash away his boredom, no, it was to catch a glimpse at you. You were the pretty girl that came here everyday to study your past works and prepare for future tests. And to say the very least, sungchan was mesmerized.

He loved watching your eyes light up when you finally understood your topic, or when a pout formed onto your lips whenever you got a question wrong. You had him at a chokehold although you didnt know him, the boy willingly dropping his friends and sports just to be in the same room as you. He was more than mesmerized.

But he also was a little shy.

Okay, really shy.

The poor boy couldnt even admire you for long when you suddenly turn your head, his head moving in sync as it becomes a bright shade of red, finding a random book to distract him. Thats why hes been buying books everyday, so it didnt seem obvious he was staring at you.

But he couldnt help it. Not when you looked so, so pretty, blue light blockers sitting on the bridge of your nose perfectly as he mindlessly swoons more and more after every minute, every second. He hadn't told any of his friends what hes been up to, and he'd prefer to keep it that way, incase one of them decides to slip up infront of you.

Sometimes he loves them, other times he despises them.

Sungchan watches as you let out a long yawn, your head covering your open mouth before you take off your glasses and turn off your computer, resting your head on top of your arms which laid on the table. Were you tired? Usually, you keep a cup of coffee with you so you could power through the evening, but it seemed as if you've forgot it. Sungchan could of brought you a cup, and maybe then would he finally grow the balls to talk to you.

His steps are quiet, light as a feather as he inches toward your seemingly sleeping body, checking to see if you've really travel off to dream land. And it looks like.. you did. Sungchan quietly coos at your sleeping figure, swiftly removing his jacket to rest on your back for warmth. He was contemplating on staying with you, but in the end decides to leave since it would be weird to watch you sleep, plus hard to explain.

But although sungchan was feeling shy, he wanted to let you know that it was his jacket he had lended, and that he doesnt need it back. A smile forms onto his face as he starts to imagine how tiny you'd look in his clothes, how cute you'd look. He opts to leave you a little sticky note that was placed right beside your head, before swinging his bag on his shoulder and leaving for the day.

Hey.. i know you dont know me and i know this is kinda weird.. but i like you a lot. I think you're really pretty when you're focused on your work or when you're reading.. but im too shy to say it in front of you T_T

I'm sungchan, by the way, and you can keep the jacket, by the way. Wait, did i already say that? Anyways um i think you're really pretty and i like you a lot and i hope you've had a good nap. Whatever you're studying, you will achieve it in the future so dont give up. Bye :)

OK SO IM SICK AS FUCK BUT I JUSTT WOKE UP FROM A DREAM I HAD AND AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH . BASICALLLLYYY the dream is from watson's POV and its started with this confusing as fuck actionms scene where hoolmes and watson are on top of a train and theres UFOs theyre going after and its CRAZY. thye have to save this guy whos going to be TAKEN by the ALIENS !!!!!! and they end up chasing these UFOS through the badlands and they SAVE the GUY and the aliens just kuinda leave (theyrre not trying to KILL everuone they just wanted too experiment on the guy?) BUT holmes is MISSING 😭 and anywways he ends up presumed DEAD and watson continues doing their work for like 5 YEARS all on his own (this is all post-reichenbach so its even SADDER.. he doesnt even consider that holmes could be faking his death again bc he just KNOWs that holmes wouldnt do that to him again) and hes even solving cases for like lestrade like holmes used to do, but then the MILITARY???? have him do a case beccause apparently they realized theyyve stil been detecting ACTIVITY from the badlands AREA for like this WHOLE TIME and they want watson to go look incase tge ALIENS are still there (theyy dont know its aliens !! they kjust know watson and holmes went on a super secret and sensitive case over there and thhe military guys are too scared to look bc they think its bombs) and so watson goes to look, and basically one of the aliens spacecrafts is still there just on the ground, it was abandoned there!!!!! and watson is like good at deduction and stuff now (and remember it was watson pov!!!!) so i remembeer him thinking like "oh shit thats one of the ships they used that was meant to store HUMANS…" and he was jsut like "fuuuck fuck fuck. ok dont get too hopeful but FUCK" and the door opened from the OUTSIDE like it was locked so that it had to be opened from OUTSIDE and INSIDE was HOLMES….. and he was like plugged into these thingies that had been keeping him alive for all those years, and watson got him out of there and its WAS SOOOOO SAD AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH. he kept going like "watson..? is this real? is this real?" over and over again IT WAS SO SAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDD 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 IT WAS JUST LIKE FUCKED LIKE OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD… and watson POV remember??? so i remember like in the back of his head was like "i shoulve come back sooner…" over and over again but like he couldnt even FOCUS ON THAT cause he was just SO GLAD to see holmes again and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHGHGHGGHHHH….. im normal im normal im normal im normal im normal………

wowza! me posting something related to my oc and her lore?? weow

(explanation for the two toned arrows under the pictures) basically me writing lore for lyra. Some parts probably dont make sense but oh well :D

OVERLORDS

Valentino

they both occasionally work together- well- Vox borrows Valentino's studio to take pictures of Lyra once he finishes taking her out on a shopping spree (he needed to see her in more cute outfits). She doesnt have that much of an opinion on valentino but she doesnt really like being in the same room as him when he's angry or just being a bitch to everyone(/aff she's sensitive ok?) its 50/50 thing for her

She also works as a backup makeup artist incase one of his workers is either dead or just not there.

Valentino does like how Vox keeps her straight and obedient (he wishes he could do what vox does to angel dust). He likes Lyra for that, he wants angel dust to be like Lyra.

Rosie

FRIENDS- ROSIE IS LYRA'S NOT RELATED AUNT-

Lyra likes going to cannibal town JUST for rosie since she loves the clothing and aesthetic there. Surprisingly Vox lets lyra roam around there as long as she has her phone.

They're friends cause lyra trusts rosie alot and will sometimes buy some things from her (accessories only due to vox having to monitor her outfits)

Rosie is concerned about Vox's behavior with lyra but she doesn't intervene. She doesn't want to harm lyra indirectly by confronting vox about it (she knows about everything, she knows about what Vox does to lyra)

HOTEL

Lucifer

PAPAAAA-

Lyra's father figure! while she was alive she knew Lucifer before Vox

She summoned him by accident while watching videos about the supernatural and by her reading out loud a summoning spell he appeared in her room! These two are best buddies

She wishes she could talk to him more but due to Vox she can't. Lucifer doesnt know about lyra and Vox's true relationship. He just thinks Lyra is dating an overlord

obviously since Lyra sees lucifer as a father she's besties with Charlie and sees her as a sister

Sr Pentious

She loves pentious's aesthetic, she loves steampunk, he loves weapons, his whole style is steampunk- FRIENDSHIP

He mainly knows about Lyra because of Vox. She saw Vox hire pentious as a spy and she saw how he treated him.

She decided to go to the hotel to spy on them due to Vox seeing how innocent she was and boom! friends (i dont have much about these two)

Niffty

chaos- that's all im going to say

Nifty LOVES that lyra is a cat

Lyra wishes her and nifty could talk more and become friends with her(not gonna happen once she finds out nifty is tied to alastor)

Husk

she likes that he's a cat but he doesn't like that lyra is dating one of the Vees-

After the whole situation with pentious spying on them because of the Vees he doesn't trust lyra at all

He KNOWS about lyra's true relationship with Vox and he doesn't like it at all.

Lyra sees husk as an interesting being but she doesn't know much about him other that he's a cat and a bartender

The reason why Azriel saved Eris is because he knew Gwyn is safe and can survive it.

“You’d know if she’d died,” Azriel said, pausing his work and looking up at Cassian. He tapped his brother’s chest with a scarred hand. “Right here—you’d know, Cass.”

It seems to me that deep down he can feel his bond with Gwyn. He's calm during the time Cassian was hysterical because Azriel doesnt only trust his mate but also feels she's well and alive.

Maybe the bond didn't snap when he first rescued Gwyn but it was showed on the extra scene.

Something sparked in Azriel’s chest, but he only nodded his thanks and left. He could picture it, though, as he ascended the stairs back to the House proper. How Gwyn’s teal eyes might light upon seeing the necklace. For whatever reason . . . he could see it. But Azriel tucked away the thought, consciously erasing the slight smile it brought to his face. Buried the image down deep, where it glowed quietly.

It makes more sense than Azriel saving Elain because they have no choice. Azriel was the only one available to save Elain.

Funny, because I made one parallel about who Azriel is pertaining to in that sentence before, here if you like to check it out

Plus, how well and alive Gw*n was during the bloodrite? Oh, I'm gonna show you incase you forgot:

Gwyn still on the other side with an arrow through her thigh. Down. Too close to the males closing in— “CUT IT!” Gwyn roared. “Get up,” Nesta ground out. “Get up.” The priestess tried. She made it to her feet, but she’d never cross the bridge in time.

Gwyn still seemed to be running, then leaping into the open air, only that rope around her middle to keep her from death as she began to plunge—

Each pull had Nesta panting against the pain until Gwyn cleared the cliff edge, grimacing as the arrow through her thigh touched the ground. It had been a clean shot, but blood soaked her leg. Her face was already pale.

but the priestess still limped. Her face had grown ashen

It began snowing again around midday, and Gwyn’s steps grew staggered. Her breathing too labored. Soon Nesta and Emerie were half-carrying her between them.

“We would live,” Emerie said carefully. “I’d love nothing more than to wipe the smirks off the lips of the males in my village, but not at this cost. Not if it costs us you, Gwyn. We need you to live.” // Ch 68

Gwyn’s leg was bleeding again, her face ghostly white. None of them spoke.

Gwyn was a half-dead weight at her back. The blood loss had made her so weak it seemed she could barely hold on. // Ch 69

Meanwhile, between all the scenes Azriel showed no sign of "bond" telling him his "mate" is almost half dead. He's too busy saving Eris.

And, Azriel's chapter happened between chapter 58 and 59, here is the proof (@obviouslyelriel) , and some analysis made by @wingedblooms. I suggest you read these posts because it totally made sense and based on canon texts.

If Azriel and Gw*n are mates and the bond snapped during the Bonus Chapter, wouldn't he feel that Gw*n's already too weak? Wouldn't he react with rage and rescue his mate rather than Eris? Wouldn't he pursue Gw*n?

If that bonus chapter is a hint of them being mates wouldn't we read development between these two? The bloodrite was the perfect scene to show us where Az cpuld drop everything and go and save Gw*n because if they're truly mates nothing mattered but her safety. But we got nothing.

What did we even get after the bloodrite?

Gwyn, despite the Rite, had returned to living in the library. // Ch 80

The bonus chapter you all love to cling to is not enough basis because we barely even see the proof of the bond in the actual book. Also here's @merymoonbeam 's answer to that bonus chapter that actually made more sense than Az and Gw*n being mates.

And don't forget that almost 7pages in Az chapter is about him AND Elain, the remaining five with Gw*n happened because: His shadows had not warned him. It was too late to bank without appearing like he was running. Canon.

The other scene happened because: with every intention of returning it to the shop in the Palace of Thread and Jewels. But when he returned from the cabin in the mountains, he didn’t go to the market square. Instead, he found himself at the library beneath the House of Wind, standing before Clotho as the clock chimed seven in the evening.

If you're gonna consider it, Elain and Azriel have more mate materials in the actual bookS.

And again. Azriel was the first one to noticed Elain is missing. He is the one who initiated to rescue him no matter what happens to him. He made sure she's well before letting her go after the rescue. I don't see the "he's the only one available" when literally there's her sisters. You see, if you look at it closely, the bloodrite happened to : show Valkryies strength and their friendship, their backstory, AND romantically Cassian's reaction as a mate.

The rescue scene with Elain is the one that screams they possibly have a bond, see this: (by @viennasneverland )

And please, this will be the last time I'm gonna answer anon from other side of the fandom. As I said before, you can discuss all your "theories" on your side. There's no point on bringing it on our side and trying to make us see your point. Gw*n and Az for you might have a possible bond BUT in canon there's actually alot of seeds for Elriel. There's no point discussing your opinion with us if you're not even considering what's written in the actual books. If you wanted to have another discussion about this, then I suggest read the books because what I'm gonna answer to you is also from there.

Can we know more about the various bosses and mini bosses in your AU? Like Vanessa?

Okay this took me a while to awnser because i was trying to figure out how, but i think i can answer on vanessa.

First things first, due to the way that the Subcon story changed during development, Vanessas story feels really unfinished. There seems to be no reason for her to have just snapped besides the love. Which i guess works from a story telling point but i don't like it. Anyways, let me tell you what ive come up with by now.

Vanessa has some undiagnosed mental issues, most likely some form of personality disorder. Im not fully set on it, but she deffintly had problems she needed help with that she did not get.

The zombie curse that is present in the curse dlc has run in her family for generations. If you were to look back at paintings of them, all royal members would wear gloves. The ice powers however are unique to her.

Before her meltdown she was loved by the people, they adored her. She kept part of tbe forsest in this permanent winter wonderland. (Not the icy stuff you see in game, but instead a beautiful display of ice and snow)

Occasionally she would make ice sculptures, often for events and festivals. Due to being made out of magical ice and not normal ice, these would never melt. Not untill she decided to destroy them.

She was not very big on reading or really learning about royal duties in genral. She did enjoy baking though, often getting along with the Royal chefs.

She also enjoyed gardening and would spend many days perfecting her garden, it was beautiful.

Now lets move to after the breakdown.

After her magic freezes most of the forest, she retreats to her manor and doesnt leave. She doesnt even go into the garden that she had loved so much.

She has a few of her own minons, mostly headless statues that protect her manor and other areas important to her. They are mostly mindless without their heads. (There is one statue with a head, they are practically her advisor.)

She doesnt quite register that all of this was her fault. She knows she had a part to play, but she doesn't understand it all. She actully thinks it was snatcherss fault.

If you were to get close enough you coulf make out all the details of her still there, albeit incased in shadow. Her hair is quite tangled, not taken care of much any more. One eye is permently closed, always crying. The other looks quite insane, always darting around paranoid. Her dress is tattered and worn, but still faintly green.

She's gone a bit insane from her isolation, often talking to the ice statues and pretending they responded. She's very lonley.

When Hat and Bowie arive, she flips between desperetly wanting them to stay, and wanting them to leave her alone and get out of her manor. It does not help that they are children.

Now after the reset.

She had a feeling that something wasnt right, theat someone had broken in, yet there was no evidence of anything. She even enters the attic for the first time in many years and looks inside the chest of valuables. The strange glowing relic (time peice) that the statues had brought her was still there.

It's a few days after the reset when she finally leave her manor for the first time since the meltdown. Granted its not far, she only enters the garden but its a huge step.

The garden has fallen into a sad state, she quickly started to fix things up, practically moving on instict. It was refreshing to do things. though she did accidently break a few stems, out of practice.

It will be slow, but she has a possible path to improovment.

ok so. the cult explanation. actually wait. it would be funnier to tell you in the order ppl found out.

So basically in ! era (there are several eras, ! era was the first phase of the game, !! is the current phase, which takes place a year later, war era takes place before ! era, and pre-war era is anything before that) Kanata was a 3rd year and part of a unit called Ryuseitai. (One of my two faves) Ryuseitai's theme is heroes, specifically the power ranger type, because the leader Chiaki is obsessed with being a hero and Ryst had a history of being a unit of heroes. Anyways Kanata and Chiaki are 3rd years and Kanata has this. weird way of speaking? Where certain words are in parentheses and he pronounces some words wrong or doesnt seem to know what they mean. Anyways Ryst has no 2nd years, but they manage to get 3 1st years in the beginning of the ! era, and absolutely none of them wanted to be there, so basically they got the leftovers, but they were really desperate because they were gonna graduate. Anyways. Kanata is a weird guy who likes to swim in the school fountain, calls Chiaki his hero, speaks weirdly, doesnt refer to himself as a human, but like. maybe hes just kinda like that.

And then Meteor Impact comes out.

Some perspective. Enstars came out in 2015. Meteor Impact, aka the Kanata backstory story, came out in. 2019.

And oh boy!!! It sure is a story!!! one of the only es stories ive read and. jesus. head in hands. its something <will never be over meteor impact

ANYWAYS.

Youve known for a while at this point of the existence in the war era of a group called "The Five Eccentrics", which were a group of five students who were interesting characters who were really good. Eichi used them to wage his war and get Wataru to fall in love with him but thats beside the point. What is the point is that Kanata was one of them (So were Rei and Wataru, vampire guy and the clown in the images i sent you)

Anyways Kanata is part of the five eccentrics. i realized this might not be that important to the cult backstory stuff im trying to tell. whatever

ANYWAYS ANYWAYS.

Chiaki and Kanata are 2nd years during this time. Chiaki is part of Ryuseitai, and Kanata is unaffiliated. Chiaki does a lot of volunteer work bc ryst are heroes, and one of those jobs is to clean the old school pool, which is completely dilapidated. There he meets Kanata, and Kanata asks if he wished the pool would be clean, and he says yes. Next day he returns to clean it and the pool is spotless. He and Kanata start becoming friends even though Chiaki's kinda put off by Kanata's behavior. Kanata keeps saying he'll grant any wish Chiaki wants, Chiaki keeps saying he doesnt have anythimg to wish for. anyways stuff happens. Chiaki keeps hearing rumors about shady peoplearound the school. At some point his friend who is an ex thug gets beat up by his old friends and Chiaki tells Kanata about it. The friend gets mad because his old friends got super scared bc the police came and threatened them. Chiaki wishes for ryst, which has become lazy and lost reputation, to be more motivated, and they do.

He finds out that theres actually a cult doing everything Kanata "wishes", but Kanata believes hes a god who grants wishes for people. he doesnt see himself as human, and only thinks hes worth soemthign when hes serving others by granting their wishes. Also the cult was formed because a meteor fell like a bajillion years ago and it had some sickness on it so people started sacrificing ppl to try to get rid of the sickness and that didnt work so then they ate a guy and that worked and that was Kanata's ancestor so basically theyve kept his lineage alive incase another meteor comes so then they could eat him. He is aware of this. Anyways Chiaki's trying to save him from the cult, at one point Kanata wants to return "home" (the ocean) so he just.walks into it and Chiaki dives in to save him because hes literally about to drown himself and Kanata gets upset because he cant breathe under water because he thought he could but everyone was jsut gaslighting him around him and then Chiaki;s like "ill save you, i want to be your friend" and Kanata's like "well if thats what you wish" and Chiaki's like "no, its my dream" and then he goes with Kanata to his public execution

Oh yeah uh. so like Eichi is going around "defeating" all the five eccentrics in idol battles to motivate the rest of the school but Chiaki is there with Kanata which automatically disqualifies them but then kanata joins ryst and everyone else leaves because theyre freaked out by him and then they adopt three lovely children the end <3

wordcount: 1.2k : also im kinda going off my experience at con, i also have no idea how the autograph bit works but we move, word vomit, Joe fluff in the next chapter!

It was a warm early spring evening when i got tagged in the post. I look through the notifications and see what i'm being tagged in, headline reading "Joseph Quinn Coming To Comic Con."

I click the link to the website, it taking a few minutes to load since the wifi is terrible. Once loaded i'm left with a screen showing ticket prices for each day of comic con and photo ops for all the guest that are appearing, i scroll down finding Joes name and click on "buy now" having already brought a ticket for comic con the week before, I go straight to check out punching in my details. There were two options for the photo op, a normal photo or photo with the upside down set, I decided on the normal photo op.

A few days later it was announced that Joe would also be doing a talk on the Sunday and be doing autographs during the day, however tickets for the autographs could only be pursued at the actual event itself.

Now the morning of comic con, I lay in bed for a little longer going onto my phone and looking at the weather before checking my other social media. I throw my phone onto the bed before walking over to the bathroom, turning on the shower while brushing my teeth and sorting out my makeup and fake tattoos for the day. I finish brushing my teeth grinning in the mirror at myself before stripping of my clothes and getting into the shower. Having washed my hair the night before, its now tied back so it doesnt get wet, i wash my body and re shave my legs since i'm wearing a dress today. Once i'm happy and clean, i jump out wrapping a towel around my body walking back into my room to get my cosplay ready.

Deciding to do a two in one cosplay, i pop on my two piece harley quinn suit just in case i get overly hot and overwhelmed and need to get out of the red dress. Tying the string around my middle, i look in the mirror and pop my shoulder length hair into two half up half down ponys with black and red scrunchies just to add to the look that little bit more. Once my hair is up, i walk back into the bathroom and begin applying my makeup, I do a red eye look, smudging black eyeshadow under my eyes a little before applying some eyeliner to my waterline.

Happy with how my eyes look, i start cutting up and placing my fake tattoos on, before going back in and adding my winged eyeliner and mascara. Deciding to put my red mac lip stick on just before i get to the centre. Sitting on my bed, i start drawing on my thigh tattoos with a pot of eyeliner, using the pot and a paint brush instead of a penned eyeliner as it looks better, in my opinion anyway, it then set the eyeliner with powder and setting spray before checking my phone for the time.

I stand and begin putting my dress on, i grab the bag im taking with me and put in my portable charger and cable, lipstick, spare eyeliner, sketchbook and pen and some chewing gum. I pull on my left doc tying it as tight as i can before doing the same to the right, but instead of putting on matching i opt for my cherry red boot. I pack some extra plasters as well just incase!

I look at my reflection in the mirror, taking a few selfies before grabbing my key and heading out the door to the train station. I know i'll get looks but i'm not fussed. The train ride was quick and hot. The underground is not the one. Getting off the train and going to the next platform to get onto the train to the centre i begin seeing other people in cosplays, and start talking to them. Having gone by myself, everyones lovely, I see a few hellfire shirts grinning to myself, it not fully setting in that im meeting Joe today.

Me and my new friends get on the train, and begin chatting about other cons that theyve been to. The excitement starting to settle in as we arrive at the station which is next to the centre. Everyone gets off and starts crowding to tap out. I wait back a little before heading out deciding not to push, we'll get there when we get there.

Going straight to the queue, its not as long as i thought it was going to be, but its in no way short either. Once in the queue the excitement beginning to take over, i see someone dressed as scoops ahoy steve. "oh my god its steve! hi dad" i grin shouting over to them, they laugh and wave then i realise their friend is dressed as eddie "oh my god hi other dad" i laugh waving at the people.

Getting into the centre, i get my bag checked and a stamp on my hand before wondering over to the big time table sheet on the wall. Joseph is due to do his upside down shoot in the next 30minutes, so i decide to spilt from the group and go to the autograph section, wanting to secure a ticket.

After 10minutes of walking around and finding it, i look around for the big photo of eddie munson, its kind of hidden in the back, i walk over to the staff member, there being few people surrounding the Joes autograph area. "hi could i get a ticket for" i finish as she nods, clearly knowing who i'm asking for. "Do you want today or tomorrow love?" she sighs "could i get tomorrow?" she nods, turning around and grabbing the small numbers book ripping out a ticket and handing it to me, "bring that tomorrow and show it to whoever is here" she smiles "thank you so much!" i smile, handing her to cash for the ticket before turning to walk out.

I see a guard and a few other people that look 'important' come out of a door, which im amusing is the celeb greenroom/breakroom? Which is only a few foot steps away from where i'm standing. When i spot the loveable man that is Joseph Quinn, walking out sending the people around him a wave as he's ushered away, "hi, hello" he smiles. I grin at the man and send a little wave. His chocolate brown eyes sparkling in the natural light that is peaking through the larger windows in the room. His chestnut hair looking fluffy yet so fine and soft. Pair of blue jeans and a simple white tee covering his body. This man is a work of art and isnt even trying. I sigh softly as he walks past looking and waving in my direction, smiling softly but just enough to show off the little indents in his cheeks. Now with his back towards my direction, i grin like an idiot. Feeling even more excited for my photo later!

I just finished reading the new episode too so I have things to say about but that can wait for like in two weeks when I get there lmao Last part:

Simple dialogue is nice once and a while

I know they are supposed to be love at first sight but its so awful to see how they act even if i was crushing hard on someone if they acted like that id be weirded out

rn im working on writing a silly little fnc prince au (its got three chapters up rn and im working on the fourth) so i can talk about the first three chapters!!! huzzah!!

SPOILERS INCASE YOU WANNA GO READ IT ITS CALLED: You'll Forget (It's Not Your Fault) ON AO3!!!!

in the first chapter chip doesnt have any friends other than his sister, lizzie, and then at a conference he meets gill and jay, jay is extremely outspoken and confident (at this age jay has a crush on lizzie - its one of those unreachable one-sided crushes that you would have on someone and it would never go anywhere and then eventually go away) whereas gill is a lot quieter (this is beacause he also has very few friends). after the conference they stay in touch and meet up about once or twice a month, its hard to hang out more since their royals ykyk. OH ALSO right when chip sees gill for the first time i decided to describe it as like a HUGE crush, but since hes so small and hasnt had friends before he doesnt know how to identify it :D

OKAY CHAPTER TWO this one is based mainly around gill and chip aswell as chip and lizzie. listen, i fucking LOVE writing siblings, it is the most fun shit to ever exist (bc im a sibling thats definetly why lmao) aswell as angst ofc (worry about that in chapter five WHATTT WHO SAID THAT). so i have chip and lizzie tease eachother about various embarrassing things (pissing pants, poking frogs, sneaking out to see your gf ect ect) and i also vaaaguley introduce ensa (for jay for a later time) and i just think its so silly.

quick detour for background information: lizzie KNOWS that chip has a crush on gill like she know knows but she'll never bring it up unless he does, she doesnt want to make him embarassed (not through that anyway) whereas on the other had chip LOVES embarrassing lizzie like that

!!!! ok i'm sorry it's taken me a hot minute to get to you BUT i think i have a good amount of reccomendations :o

these first few are kinda "famous" but i thought i'd point em out just in case! some of them ended a few years ago and they were more well known back when they were running

wolf 359: gotta point this one out juuuust in case you haven't listened to it! amazing sci fi... would drama be the right word? it's very intense and has some really interesting meditations on morality and the self But it's also so extremely funny. complete, ended in 2017

ars paradoxica: america during the cold war, the red scare, intense government conspiracies.... And Time Travel! complicated but amazing plot and a big cast- i would recommend not pausing and listening to something else, it gets complex! mischa stanton directed it so you Know it has stellar sound design (added bonus: lgbt main characters) complete, ended in 2018

the bright sessions: people with superpowers go to therapy! plus: shadowy capitalistic conspiracies, amazing romances and phenomenal character development! i'm not a fan of romances and i Loved the ones here (it's not heavily romance focused though!) (added bonus: lgbt main characters + main lgbt romance) complete, ended in 2018. i think a spin off series is running rn tho!

the adventure zone: this isn't an audio drama, it's an actual play d&d podcast! the first season (balance) is amazing- hilarious and heart wrenching! (the heart wrenching takes a while to kick in but MAN it's so good) the first season ended in 2017. i haven't finished the second big season (amnesty) but i loved what i did listen to, same with the currently running season (graduation)

sayer: starts off as sinister night vale but with an ai and in space, evolves into a complicated save-the-world plot concerning several ais. it's in second person and it's Amazing! lots of meditations on the self and personhood. currently on hiatus but will be ending when it resumes

alice isn't dead: from the people who did night vale! starts as a trucker trying to find her wife, evolves to include shadowy government conspiracies and the power of regular people banding together. ending made me tear up it's really good! it's Big on the horror (the first ep is the only podcast that's ever truly scared me and it continues to scare the shit out of me to this day) but its Extremely Good Horror. very americana too! complete, ended in 2018.

ok that's the more well known ones out of the way, i think? i'm not too confident about how well known some of them are nowadays ^^' all i can say is that i heard abt them frequently in 2016. now onto the lesser known ones ! the ones that are complete are generally pretty short listens (relatively- they're still a good handful of hours at the least)

zero hours: by the wolf 359 people, it's a short anthology that released all at once last year. to pharaphrase/quote the official blurb: each episode is a take on the end of the world, whether the apocalypse is planetary or personal. each episode is separated by 99 years, starting in the past (1722) reaching the present and then overtaking it. surprisingly hopeful ending, made me <:')

i am in eskew: you've probably heard me holler about this before- it follows the trials and tribulations of david ward, who lives in the nightmarish and otherworldly city of eskew. 30 episodes long and complete, with a phenomenal ending! i can't rave about this enough i could Keep talking but i'll cut myself short. it's horror and it's damn good horror! does deal with extremely heavy topics, please be careful!

janus descending: sci fi horror with what has to be the most interesting formatting i've seen in ages: the two points of view alternate each episode... but one is chronological and one is backwards! amazingly done, keeps you guessing until the end! complete. follows peter and chel as they undertake a survey mission on an alien planet

midnight radio: made by @/theradioghost! big on the idea that "all ghost stories are love stories". a 1950s radio hostess gets letters from a fan. horror, big on the 1950s aesthetics, focus on the relationship between one and one's hometown. lovely ending! it's sapphic too :]

the far meridian: by the same people who did ars paradoxica! follows peri, a bit of a hermit who has extreme social anxiety, who lives in a lighthouse that suddenly begins to teleport. each morning peri wakes up and the lighthouse is in a different place! there are like... some horror elements? kinda? but it's not intense imo. it mainly follows peri learning to cope with her anxiety & helping others, with each episode usually having a one off encounter (usually pretty strange!) often has wholesome vibes. s3 is currently in production and is the final season. plus: lgbt characters, and kinda spoilers but peri uses a cane later on!

old gods of appalachia: honestly it's what it says on the tin! a collection of short stories set in historical appalachia that deal with entities beyond human understanding. they're good about trigger warnings, but it's Horror. produced by actual appalachians! stellar music, a Lot strong female characters, and a good amount of lgbt rep! killer music!! it's currently releasing but the latest short story is finished. (do listen in order though!)

the deep vault: by the archive 81 team! in an "almost-post-apocalyptic" america a group of friends chase a rumor about a secret hidden vault, only to Find it! follows the group as they traverse the deep vault. horror, actively points out capitalism a Lot, definetly has an interesting ending! amazing sound design, which is to be expected from dan powell!

tides: the official blurb is short and sweet: "tides is the story of dr. winnifred eurus, a xenobiologist stuck on an unfamiliar planet with hostile tidal forces". extremely snarky and endearing main character and fascinating worldbuilding! i don't know the status of s2, but s1 was really good!

limetown: follows one lia haddock, a public radio reporter, as she tries to unravel the mystery of what happened at limetown. all she knows is that 10 years prior, over 300 men, women and children vanished. horror, mystery, and some sci fi elements. presented in a found footage kinda way. i really enjoyed it, especially the first season. complete.

mabel: horror (big on the haunted house type specifically), sapphic romance, fun take on the fair folk/fae! follows anna limon, an in home carer who's trying to get in touch with her client's estranged granddaughter. evolves into a big fae-horror-romance-thing! really interesting romance tbh. amazing imagery and prose- lots of prose + almost poetry, but it's really good i promise. currently on a post season hiatus

spines: horror but it evolves past just horror in an interesting way (keeping the horror bits, of course). follows wren, who woke up in an attic surrounded by the remains of a cult ritual without any memories of who she is or what she was doing. she searches for answers, encountering creepy shit along the way. really interesting take on the super-secret-organization-that's-always-been-there trope! really good ending. one of the main characters is nonbinary + there's other lgbt main characters.

mirrors: by the people who did spines. also starts as horror but evolves past just horror (it's also sci fi). follows three women in three different centuries who are all experiencing the same haunting. phenomenal take on ghosts! like i can't articulate how cool this angle on ghosts is! s3 is supposed to start this year :] one of the main characters is sapphic, and her wife is a supporting character.

the six disappearances of ella mccray: also by the people who did spines and mirrors. evolves past just horror but keeps more of the horror elements? follows the 6 povs of the people who witnessed the surreal disappearance of ella mccray. each saw something different and surreal, and as they search for her, surreal things start happening to them. unsure abt the status of s3 but s1 and s2 are really good! lgbt main characters, including a trans lesbian (played by a trans woman!)

the bridge: horror. follows the crew of watchtower 10 on the transcontinental bridge that spans across the atlantic ocean. i listened to it back in like 2016-2017 so my memory is hazy, but i remember really enjoying it! currently on hiatus.

within the wires: sci fi... horror..? i listened to the first season a few years ago and enjoyed it and i've continued to hear really good things. it's by the people who make night vale! my memory isn't great but iirc the first season is a sort of romance that's formatted as a set of relaxation/meditation cassettes. it's a few seasons in and i think each is generally self contained, im unsure if it's currently running or not

the orbiting human circus of the air: also by the night vale people! again i listened to this a few years ago so im hazy. follows julian the janitor who works at a radio station that broadcasts from the top of the eiffel tower! surreal but in a wholesome way, iirc! i remember tearing up with happy tears at the s1 finale ^^' really good music! i think the second(?) season ended recently

stellar firma: i've only listened to a handful of episodes, but i've liked what i've heard. sci fi improv comedy that follows the newly made clone david 7 and the mess that is trexel geistman as they try and design custom planets. i think it's currently running but i dunno

rusty quill gaming: also another one that i've only listened to a few episodes of. actual play pathfinder (basically d&d) podcast set on an alternate earth. alex newall (martin's voice actor) is the dm. i've heard really good things from a lot of people! i think it's currently running but again i don't know for sure

i mentioned @/theradioghost earlier (shes behind midnight radio) but i would absolutely recommend looking at her rec list tag! she has impeccable taste

im intrigued, i dont want to get too into it but i'm v curious abt the loonaverse, so.... if you dont mind explaining the basics? 👀👀

OKAY!! so uh, here’s the thing.. i tried very hard to keep this short and I realized that on mobile you can’t add read mores and I wrote like a 10 page essay,,.. though that won’t stop me from writing it all out again so here we go!! There’s a series on youtube called Loonaverse Basics, it’s currently ongoing but the first video is really good at explaining the basics of it all!

To get started, the most confusing thing about the loonaverse is the mobius strip. No one really know what it means in the lore, we do know though that it’s used to show that loona is constantly moving forward and can even go back in time. Loona’s world is based on earth, however it is not the same as ours and their world consists of three plains of existence: earth, the middle, and finally eden. Loona 1/3 (heejin, hyunjin, haseul and vivi) are known to be represent earth, Odd Eye Circle (kim lip, jinsoul, and choerry) are the inbetween of earth/space and YYXY (yves, chuu, go won and olivia hye). I don’t mention Yeojin here because she is her own subunit though she does represent the slash in loona 1/3s logo!

Loona’s primary goal is to become one, it’s the basis of their debut single/mv Hi High. However, something is stopping them from meeting all together, not only is the mobius strip most likely involved but Yeojin is lost in the “forest”, which can be seen in Hi High and even in Why Not we see her alone but the only difference in Hi High is that Haseul is with her. The way loona can achieve coming together is through Odd Eye Circle. OEC’s main ability is that they can travel between earth and eden through the powers of their odd eye. OEC isn’t the only members of loona with an odd eye though! ViVi is/was an android and her odd eye can access memories!

They also have their own representive animals, as well as colors and shapes! 1/3 is the only group based on locations as well and YYXY also has representive fruits. There’s also a connection between 1/3 and YYXY and choerry is hyunjin’s counter part. Right now, the loonaverse as a whole is resetting or going back in time with the start of So What and what seems to be a butterfly effect!

Hello! I don't really have “pen settings” since i use autodesk sketchbook and most of them are downloaded off the website, but since ppl have been asking I'm posting the brushes n what sets i got them from under the cut!

Inking pen! I use this for sketches, lineart, and color filling. This is the pen I've used for most of my recent su, rosemary, kfc gang, and peixes fam posts. Its a basic brush that came with the software, and i just change the size when i feel like it :p

Hard pencil! Kinda a dumb name idk but thats what its called. I use these for sketches and lineart! I used this for both of my recent beta kids posts(the hug n profiles), and most of my deltarune/undertale drawings. I’m like 90% sure this came from the “Traditional” brush set

Ole faithful. I use this for sketches when i want harsh lines, and sometimes line art when I'm feeling ~adventurous~ :3c. The only post I can think of that I used this brush on and posted on here is the Roxy drawing from a bit back. I thiiink this came from either the “designer” or “traditional” brush set, but don't quote me on that. (god i need to be more organized)

My eraser! For a while I just used the basic one that came with the program, but it would only go so small and couldn't really do all I wanted it to. This one, tho, goes as thin as u want! I basically used it somewhere on all my stuff. It came from the “Manga Basics” brush set.

My texture brush! I use this for coloring (mainly blush and other skin stuff) and shading! I also use it for gradients n stuff. I’ve used it on all posts that include some kind of color detailing in the skin or big blocks of color. It came from the “Inktober” brush set, which miiight be seasonal but idk. I think its still open for download but incase its not.... haha sucks for u this brush is great >:3

And last and maybe least, this one! I honestly don't use this very often but I thought id include it anyways. I used this like once in the Peixes fam post to blur lineart and make lil stray hairs n stuff. It was really fun tho so i kinda wanna use it again idk. I have no idea where it came from but I know theres a brush in the “Copic” set thats basically the same

Anyway hope this helps! Autodesk Sketchbook is a really great program n they even released the pro version for free! I’d really recommend it for anyone who wants to get into digital art, or are just looking for a more professional program. Its gr8 :D
