Listen, I'm just gonna offer the best gpose tip anyone has ever told me...

If the clipping is happening out of view

Then clipping doesn't exist.

This is the same for crunchy limbs, crunchy elbows, weirdly posed cloth, etc.

Clipping happens. Clipping in gpose is an unavoidable thing. The sooner you accept clipping happens, the happier you will be trying to gpose.

Yes I know it's not easy to accept. Esp if you're very hard-wired to correct any errors, or if you're a perfectionist (like me).

But I promise you, eventually you just stop caring about it.

And if you point it out, or any flaws on someone's gpose when you were not explicitly asked for constructive critique, on someone's gpose I hope both sides of your pillow are warm and that you stub your toe on something different every time you get up so you can never avoid it.

i know that some people don't like not knowing but i find winging it is so much fun. like, not knowing where your partner is going to take the thread is one of the best parts of roleplaying in my opinion. going so far off the original idea, throwing in an unexpected twist (maybe their character was the killer after all!), taking an open starter in a wild direction.. i love all of it!!

(I apologise if this sounds snobbish. But please can people use full sentences in asks, at the very least? The amount I've received lately that are just "*Muse name* hru?" is really disheartening.

If you're going to ask someone a question, as least go to the effort of fully writing your words. I try my best to put effort in, but lately this wave of "text speech" and low effort stuff is just really killing my mood. It just feels bad when I try and put genuine effort in, to give people immersion in the muses and the world, and all I get back is "hru" and "They just smiled" in response.

I am fine with broken/translated English, because that's normal, not everyone is fluent, and they are making an effort in a language that isn't their mother tongue. Not got a problem with that at all. It's lazy English that I have a problem with. Feel free to use it in casual conversation with me, but if you're trying to interact with a muse, use full sentences and words. That's all I ask.)

Today is my 30th birthday, and after receiving numerous requests from both anonymous individuals and others, I have finally made the decision to share a face reveal post. Despite initially declining this possibility on a few occasions, the persistent pressure from anonymous individuals eventually influenced me to change my perspective. A Hot Take on Gerudo Survival Skills

I'm not going to rant and rave about the majority of the discord surrounding Tears of the Kingdom when it comes to Ganondorf vs Hyrule. There are more than enough posts circulating about that out there by plenty of good and intelligent folks, and I've already offered my thoughts on it. I encourage folks to go check those out.

What I'm tired of seeing is the argument that the Gerudo have little to nothing to survive on in the desert. This is one of the most badass and longest enduring tribes in all of Zelda and yet for some odd reason folks seem to insist that they're somehow unable to exploit the incredible amount of resources available to them. I've played desert survival challenges in BotW where I exist solely within the Gerudo area for extended periods of time, and if you know what you're doing its actually quite easy.

Anyone who has spent ample time around the Gerudo region in either of these games knows just how incredibly abundant food is in the Gerudo Highlands. There is a ton of large game up there that is easy to bring down with a single headshot from a Gerudo bow. Gerudo bows are sniper bows and are far from useless. Are we going to argue that these very strong and powerful ladies can't do something as simple as draw one of the bows of their own making, or know how to track prey through the snow? One might argue that we never see a Gerudo in the Highlands or in possession of clothing warm enough to survive up there, but I would counter with the fact that the ice house exists and it's clearly stated that the ice is harvested and brought down from the Highlands. This argument is invalid.

Additionally, the desert itself is abound in fruits and poultry ripe for the harvesting. And obviously it's done to such efficiency that there is an ample enough supply to make a profit in selling these items at market, to both Gerudo and Hylians alike. There is obviously enough surplus of hydro melons that there is a Gerudo NPC that devours them to such excess as to clog up one of the fountains in Gerudo Town.

And while we're on the topic, the Gerudo clearly have an ample enough water supply that they can run fountains constantly, all through their town. So clearly they're not struggling there.

Additionally still, Moldugas exist and are shockingly common. Yes, they're big, powerful and dangerous, but if one little twink with enough bomb arrows can kill one then are you going to tell me that this tribe of intelligent, hearty, and highly trained women cannot organize a Molduga hunt with relative ease?

Various Native American groups were able to thrive on only one or two bison hunts a year. It was dangerous, extremely, but they had it down to a science. You're going to tell me that the Gerudo are incapable of such coordination? Honestly it could even explain and deepen their connection to the sand seals. These lovely creatures can carry a few skilled huntresses through a Molduga's territory to flush it out, and with more than one target the Molduga wouldn't know which one to chase. Throw in archers who are on the rocks or ruins and a Molduga dinner is practically guaranteed. And let's not forget that with typical Moldugas, three blasts from Urbosa's fury is more than enough to bring it down. Given that Riju also possesses lightning magic, and the fact that there is a sage in Rauru's time who also controls lightning, I think we can safely assume that the ability is common enough that it can be relied upon. It wouldn't take anything for the chief to organize a Molduga hunt and ride proudly out there with her sisters to feed the tribe for a good while.

So yes, I'm not saying there aren't issues with Totk's plot or its handling of Ganondorf, but I'm tired of seeing people parrot this idea that the Gerudo are struggling to survive when they're more than capable of doing so. They were doing it long before Ganondorf, and they've done it long after him too. So please, stop using this reasoning to justify Ganondorf outright murdering someone in cold blood just to obtain their Zonai stone. It just doesn't work.

And as a side note, there is clearly a demarcation within the tribe at the time of Totk Ganondorf's reign due to how the Gerudo sage reacts to hearing that he's overcome the last free (yes that's the word they use) Gerudo villages. From what is shown, Ganondorf and his followers are an extremist terrorist group within the tribe.

Again, I'm not saying that there aren't problems with his motivations (and I really hate the greenish skin tone), but he is clearly not doing what he does for the benefit of his tribe. He might think he is, but he isn't. And there are much better arguments that could be made than just, oh the Gerudo are struggling to survive and Hyrule is full and fertile and blah blah blah. And it isn't like Rauru is trying to withhold Hyrule's bounty or otherwise fuck over the Gerudo. It's even stated that he's sent multiple invitations to them to join up with the Hyrulean tribes and share the bounty.

I'm going to repeat myself yet again: stop treating the Gerudo as incompetent and use basic survival and lack of resources to justify what Ganondorf does. It doesn't work.

Side side note: Urbosa's amiibo drops primarily meat. Interpret that as you will. And Ganondorf's legendary cursed grin when he commits said murder? That is not the smile of a sane man.

I've been playing FFXIV for a while. I've been a healer main in the game for a while. I am also a notoriously salty healer. And all I'm gonna say is this;

If you, a tank/DPS/co-healer/whatever, bully sprouts/first-timers because you're impatient and "this run is going too slow"

As many times necessary until you stop being a twat.

You help a sprout grow with water and care, not salt and impatience. You want to do a run as fast as possible without worry of wipes? Queue with friends next time.

Tomorrow's my birthday. I'm working all hours of daylight. Depression is kicking my ass in for the first time in weeks since starting my new meds. I'm missing the potluck with my LARP group, held on my birthday, to work instead. I could've had a birthday lunch with tons of friends. But no. I have to do hard physical labor in shipment, for 8 hours, that hurts my already aching body with a spazzing shoulder and cracking knees. I haven't seen those friends since May. I'm depressed as fuck. I literally don't know how to cope with this. I'm out of money, so I can't create anything that's in progress, and I don't have the desire to create anything new. Knitting versus crochet is only separated through quality of weave, crochet is almost always mesh-based (and containing holes) whereas knitted pieces can be— depending upon yarn size and needle point number— completely flush with the nearest knot and can form, usually, an actual fabric. Therefore knitting is more useful generically, as it can be mesh-based and mimicking as crochet can look, wherein crochet cannot mimic and can only be itself.

Just like a thought I had, but I feel like if I did go back to Hazbin fandom I would be deeply unhappy with the current state of it. Like everyone is hating anything that isn't canon ships? I've gone through the Sir Pentious tag a couple times here, on Twitter and R34 and I always see Cherrisnake and barely anything else. There's not much stuff about Pentious himself either.

I made a post in R34 (it was RadioHusk) so a friend could show the preview onto their fic and people complained about the ship and it not being AngelHusk. Like what??? Happened to the fandom???

Okay... What the absolute fuck happened with Tales of Arcadia-Trollhunters section while I wasn't active in the fandom?

After ROTT debacle, I sorta drifted away partly cause other fandoms had snag my interest and Netflix was being an unplayable ass. So today I get a Troll!Jim sketch popping up in my feed while scrolling through Resident Evil, Welcome Home and Linked Universe posts. I liked it then check out the tag only to see a huge clusterfuck of other stuff.

Another tie in series? And the ugly bomb that is Beast Jim. Whoever came up with this design, no offense, but it looks like an offbrand male troll version of the Tinkatink line from Pokemon. Now I'm all for monsters as they interest me more than human characters. Especially if written well. Hell, I'm a monster hugger of the monster loving spectrum.

Half Troll Jim is a fine beastie fella in design although the premise... it's a mixed bag as a whole. Beast Jim, absolutely not. With the half troll, you can see the resemblance to his original human form. Anytime a transformation is unrecognizable it's for the purpose of a mystery or to tell that they are too far gone.

You aren't supposed to see the man behind the 'monster' until its too late. A dear companion is now a threat, one you might have to put down. The mystique and realization delves into horror or sorrow. Beast!Jim's design does not have anything good going for it except as a example of what not to do. Just look! 👇

This 'Beast' doesn't feel Jim to me in general. His design is awkward and pisses off my artistic side as I seen way better troll designs for characters. Whether it be official artwork from the series, a different series or by passionate artists. Beast!Jim just feels like he been made with no care and love, a STAND IN for something better that never came.

I am definitely catching up on the series then redesigning Beast Jim. This is a travesty that will not be forgiven. I got enough aqua green color pencils as the color scheme is going first for obvious reasons.

Would you say you've ever rewritten plot? Or have you always known how you wanted the story to go?

I've rewritten the plot so many times BSDBFBSDFB. Originally the plan was that everyone was gonna die but I didn't know how , and then months later I had a dream about a giant Uxie by a stone wall, the seas stretching behind them, and their eyes were pure black... I designed the Mythics based off of it.

A lot of key points I had planned since around then but things have been tweaked a lot over time, and a lot of things were improvised. I think the askblog format sort of encourages improvising, there's a lot of unpredictable asks/interactions, and for some blogs they'll do things comboed with other blogs that weren't planned for initially (like the thing with Deva wasn't planned for right away).

imo, I think making shit up as you go between key points is fine and fun. Do what you want, shitton of super popular anime are defiNITELY made up as they went. Entertainment is entertainment, like sure strive to do your best, but long as you have fun yanno?
