I am very curious about Annabeth's accent. Annabeth is from Virginia so she would have a Virginian accent. However she ran away from Virginia when she was only seven and went to Camp Half Blood in Long Island. And the demigods at Camp Half-Blood are from all over, so it's possible that she would absorb their accents.
Did she keep her accent? Is her accent now an amalgamation of several different accents? Did she lose her accent but it now comes out only sometimes, with certain words or in moments of high emotion? Did she lose her accent on purpose to sever her ties with her past and mortal family? Did she try to copy Luke or Thalia's accents so she could be like them and they'd be more like a family? Did she copy Thalia's accent after she had died to keep a small piece of her? There are so many possibilities.

If you're a child of Dionysus are you born out of his calf?!
Okay but i have question: If Annabeth was born in the sane way that Atena was, is that meant that other Campers also born in way that they're godly parents did? Like most half-bloods probably born natural way but, what if your godly parent is Aphrodite or Hephaestus??? Like does they are made up from sea foam? Or in Hephaestus is that he want a child and then some random women gots pregnat wihout any help? Like imagine your just living your life, doesn't do "it" for a while and one day you just wake up to discover that against everything you are pregnant. Or does Hephaestus make himself pregnant???

When I first read the Percy Jackson books I pronounced Thalia's name with the "th" and everyone said "no it's Talia, you don't pronounce the "h"."
Well thanks to recent promotional videos for the new show, I have learned that Rick Riordan himself pronounces it the same way I did. So I'm feeling very vindicated, but now I'm wondering how everybody else has been pronouncing it.
So Pjo fandom, when you first read the books how did you pronounce Thalia's name?
1. Thalia with the "th" pronounced and the "A" making the same sound it would in "pail".
2. Thalia with the "th" pronounced and the "A" making the same sound it would in "fall".
3. Thalia without pronouncing the "h" and the "A" making the same sound it would in "tall".
4. Thalia without pronouncing the "h" and the "A" making the same sound it would in "tally".

So I've been seeing a lot of arguments about the term "delulu" and it's potential harm to those with mental disorders that cause them to have intense delusions.
And I've been seeing a lot of people condemn those who use the term "delulu".
So I wanted to come on here (as a person who's mental situation does cause me to have delusions), and say that I appreciate the concern and I know that your actions are well intended, however they are unnecessary.
The ability to have delusions and be delusional is like anxiety, everybody's got it.
Everybody, to varying degrees, has anxiety. And yes, some people have anxiety disorders which causes extreme anxiety, but that doesn't mean the rest of the world doesn't have it too.
Delusions are the same. Everybody can be delusional. And yes some folks, like me, have delusions that are caused by their mental situation, but that doesn't mean that we are the only ones that are delusional.
The 13-year-olds of the 2010s who genuinely thought that if they threw their hair up in a messy bun and read a book at a concert, that Harry Styles would fall in love with them? Delusional.
People who think that they could do a "I can fix him" with serial killers? Delusional.
People who still think that Ouran High School Host Club is going to get a season 2? Delusional.
Delusions are a normal part of The human experience and having the occasional delusion does not mean you have a mental disorder.
The occasional delusion is normal and everybody's got them, so by all means say "delulu". You're probably not even going to remember it in a year anyway, it doesn't seem like it's going to stick around.
*Disclaimer: if you have delusions that you think are concerning then by all means talk to a doctor. Take it from me, getting help is so much more fun than just living with it.*

hot take (maybe)
i know many of you think percy is the gossip guy, but in the books he usually doesn’t really care about what’s going on in other people’s lives that much. he cares about his friends obviously, but he doesn’t ever give off the vibes of being someone who would enjoy gossip and drama at all. i feel like he’s the “i didn’t ask” guy. like tell me this isn’t how it would go
annabeth: oh good you’re home! how were the guys?
percy: good. i tried to teach frank to skateboard. it… it didn’t go very well. that guy is strong as fuck but he has terrible balance!
annabeth: i could have told you that. is anything new with any of them?
percy: i don’t know. not really? although when we were watching the game, chris mentioned him and clarisse broke up. it was right before halftime when-
annabeth: WHAT?? WHY DID THEY BREAK UP??
percy: uhh, i don’t know
annabeth: okay well when did they break up?
percy: hm, i don’t know
annabeth: what do you mean you don’t know?? did he not want to talk about it??
percy: maybe. i don’t know. i didn’t ask
annabeth: you- you didn’t ask??
percy:
annabeth: this is why i need leo to be at these things!
