Cedric Diggory x Reader: Blossoming Love
Warnings: I don't believe there is anything.
The start of the school year at Hogwarts was a magical whirlwind of excitement and anticipation. The castle buzzed with energy as students returned to their beloved home away from home. Among those students was (y/n), a warm-hearted and hardworking Hufflepuff entering her sixth year.
Over the past couple of weeks, she was really starting to settle into her schedule. Her favorite class had always been Herbology. She absolutely adored Professor Sprout.
Professor Sprout’s voice rang through the greenhouse as she attempted to capture the attention of all of her students.
“Class, for this semester, we will be working on a long-term group project. Each of you will be paired with a partner and before you get too excited, I will be selecting your partners randomly.”
(y/n) exchanged excited glances with her closest friend, Eleanor Wilson, as they silently prayed that they would be partners. Nobody wanted to be partners with someone that they didn’t like or had never talked to.
The professor waved her wand as enchanted parchment soared through the air with names on them. (y/n) watched as a piece glided toward her and she held her breath in anticipation.
When the parchment landed in her hand, she unfolded it to reveal the name of her partner:
Cedric Diggory.
Eleanor’s eyes widened with surprise as she leaned over (y/n)’s shoulder and looked at the name. She giggled and winked at her friend.
Cedric wasn’t just any Hufflepuff. He was one of the more charming, talented, handsome guys (y/n) had ever come across during her time at Hogwarts. She thought he was absolutely perfect. However, the two of them had never really gotten a chance to know each other on a more personal level. They were in the same year, but (y/n) always looked at him like an unreachable star in the Hogwarts constellation.
Cedric slowly gathered his belongings and made his way toward her. Elanor smiled one last time at (y/n) and went to find her partner.
“Hi (y/n),” He grinned down at her. “I’m actually happy that we’re partners.”
“Really.” (y/n)’s eyes shot up in surprise. She was a little surprised that he even knew who she was.
“Yes.” He nodded earnestly. “Usually I end up pairing with one of my friends and that never goes well because I always end up doing all the work. But you don’t have to worry about that, I plan to pull my weight.”
For the project, the two of them had to explore and document herbal remedies for common magical ailments like burns, insect bites, or minor curses. Then they had to create a detailed pamphlet with instructions.
“Thank you, Cedric. I really appreciate that. I’ve also had my fair share of assignments where I’ve had to do most of the work.” (y/n) told him. And in that moment it seemed as if the two of them decided to pull their weight for the sake of the other one. They decided that the best thing would be to meet every other evening in the library when Cedric didn’t have Quidditch practice.
(y/n) very quickly learned that Cedric was so much more than just a pretty face. He was intelligent, funny, and above all, he was genuinely interested in their assignment and eager to collaborate.
As the weeks went by and the project unfolded, Cedric and (y/n) found themselves spending more and more time together. They were even spending time together doing things that had nothing to do with the project.
Even after doing their research in the greenhouse, they would have dinner together or play chess in the common room late at night. Rumors even started floating around the castle but somehow they hadn’t made their way back to them.
Once when the two of them found themselves alone in the common room, Cedric finally told (y/n) something that he had been wanting to tell her a couple of months ago. She uncovered a side of Cedric that only a few had seen - thoughtful and vulnerable. He found himself confiding in her about his aspirations, insecurities, and his innermost thoughts.
“You know (y/n), I really do appreciate your company. It’s nice to have someone to talk to.” Cedric’s voice had gone somber.
“I hope you know that I’m always here to listen.” (y/n) looked over at him with empathy. She couldn’t image how hard it was to be him.
“Thank you.” His eyes were filled with gratitude. “I like that you treat just like you treat everyone else you come across. You just see me as Cedric and that means a lot.”
Their bond deepened over the course of the semester, and Cedric found solace in sharing his thoughts and worries with (y/n). He began to look forward to not only their meetings but staring at her across the room in Potions or getting to have breakfast with her. It was nice to know that he could be himself without the weight of the spotlight.
However, their growing friendship did not go unnoticed by Cho Chang. The rumors had made their way back to her. She was someone who had caught Cedric’s eye in the past and even though they weren’t officially dating, she always wanted to a presence in his life. She couldn’t help but feel jealous of the connection (y/n) and Cedric was forging.
One day, Cho confronted (y/n) while she was sitting out by the Black Lake reading a book.
“Stay away from Cedric.” She hissed dark eyes piercing into (y/n)’s.
“Cho, there’s no need to worry.” (y/n) was taken aback by Cho’s hostility. “Cedric and I are just friends. I would never try to come between the two of you.”
“I’ve seen the way you and Cedric have been spending time together. Don’t think I haven’t noticed.”
“We’re just working on a semester long project together.” (y/n) responded completely unfazed by Cho’s hostility.
Cho’s expression softened slightly when she saw that (y/n) was genuine about not wanting to come between the two of them. “You better keep it that way.”
“Cho, you and Cedric aren’t officially dating.” (y/n) let out a patient sigh that caused Cho’s left eye to twitch. “Besides, I doubt he sees me the same way that he sees you. I’m not as beautiful as you.”
“Not as beautiful as me?” Cho let out a dark laugh. “I can’t believe you actually think that. Not only are you beautiful on the outside, but Cedric sees your kindness and genuine nature.”
Deep down, (y/n) couldn’t help but feel that Cho was a vision of grace and beauty. Someone that she could never compare to. There was no way that Cedric thought about her the same way he thought about Cho.
Despite her insecurities, (y/n) continued to be a supportive friend to Cho. She listened to his hopes and dreams, offered advice when he sought it, and cherished the moments they spent together. Cedric found himself seeking (y/n)’s company more and more.
As winter approached, the Yule Ball became the talk of the school. It was an event filled with excitement and anticipation. Of course, the idea of the Yule Ball crossed (y/n)’s mind, but she hadn’t given it a ton of thought. Eleanor tried to convince her to mention it to Cedric but after that conversation with Cho, there was no way.
“You know, (y/n), the Yule Ball is coming up.” Cedric sat down his quill. His hand had started to cramp from writing so much. “I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?”
“Me?” (y/n) sat her quill down and looked up at him. “Are you sure?”
“Of course I’m sure.” Cedric nodded with a warm smile. “I would love to go with you. You’ve been amazing and I can’t imagine a better date.”
“I’d be honored to go with you, Cedric.” (y/n) felt herself grinning. The thought of attending with him made her both nervous and excited. She never considered that someone like Cedric Diggory would ask her. And for second, the two of them felt themselves leaning in.
The world seemed to fade away as they shared an unexpected moment of intimacy. Their lips met in a tender heartfelt kiss. It was a silent confession of emotions that had grown stronger with each passing day. It was a realization that their bond was more than just friendship.
“I’ve wanted to do that longer than I care to admit,” Cedric whispered when they pulled away. His cheeks were flushed and both of their hearts were racing.
Now that their feelings were finally out in the open, the two of them spent the rest of the night working on the project, but not without sneaking glances at the other for the rest of the night.

Ron Weasley x Reader: The Silent Slytherin's Stand
Warnings: Maybe a little bit of language. This one is a little bit longer than usual. I got carried away when writing.
The halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry bustled with activity as students hurried to their classes. Among the sea of robes, a figure quietly moved down the hallway. She did almost everything she could to avoid attention and remain invisible amongst her peers.
(y/n) Rosendale was an extremely reserved and introverted Slythein who came from a well-known Slytherin family. Despite coming from an affluent family in the wizarding world, she had absolutely no interest in flaunting her lineage or acting stuck up like some of her other housemates.
Her three older siblings had come through Hogwarts years prior and each made a name for themselves. Growing up with three sociable and extroverted siblings, it was hard for (y/n) to make a name for herself. Entering her sixth year, this was the first time that she would be at Hogwarts without someone at the school that she would be compared to.
Upon her arrival, her professors expected nothing but greatness from her. Even though she was on the quieter side, she excelled in her classes and that was all her parents could ask for.
(y/n)’s reserved nature caught the attention of the youngest Weasley boy. Ron had always found her beautiful, but he never mustered the courage to confess his feelings. Back in their fourth year, he contemplated asking (y/n) to the Yule Ball, but Hermione Granger, his ever-logical and cautious friend, had talked him out of it.
Hermione found a book on (y/n)’s lineage and showed it to Ron. Someone coming from that type of family would instantly turn Ron down. She ended up going to the ball with someone from Durmstrang. The whole night Ron couldn’t keep his eyes off (y/n) as she danced the night away with him.
He had never seen her act like that before. It was clear that (y/n) had been classically trained in dancing which wasn’t a surprise at all. Seeing her so carefree only made Ron want to know more. He just didn’t know how to go about it.
When she was alone, (y/n) spent most of her alone time immersed in her two favorite subjects: Potions and Herbology. The quiet atmosphere of the greenhouse and the cauldron’s gentle bubbling provided solace and comfort to the introvert.
She found joy in the precise measurements, the delicate stirring, and the intoxicating scents that filled the air. (y/n)’s potions were always impeccable, and her hydrological knowledge surpassed even some of the most seasoned witches and wizards.
One evening, Ron found himself serving detention under the watchful eye of Professor Snape. Even though Snape wasn’t teaching Potions this term, his detention spot was still in the Slytherin dungeon. The dungeons were usually cold and foreboding, however, it seemed less intimidating with (y/n)’s presence in the back of the room.
Snape had known (y/n) ever since she was a baby. There were several complications when she was born and a lot of the potions that he provided her helped strengthen her. The two of them were close and she looked at him like an uncle. He liked having her in the dungeon with him. The two of them just existed in comforting silence working on whatever they felt like in the moment. When Snape stepped out of the room, the opportunity arose for Ron to strike up a conversation with her.
“Hey (y/n).” He called out trying not to sound too nervous. Ron wanted to walk over to where she was, but he didn’t know how long Professor Snape was going to be gone. The last thing he wanted was for Snape to come back and he was looking over the shoulder of his favorite student. That would get him detention for the rest of the year. “Are you working on something interesting?”
“Oh, um, I’m just experimenting with a love potion. Research purposes only.” She looked up from the brewing potion to meet Ron’s soft gaze. He blushed slightly.
“Aren’t those banned here?” He raised his eyebrow in surprise.
“Yes. But like I said, they’re just for research purposes.”
“Huh. I’ve always wondered if those things really work.” His curiosity has peaked now.
“They can be quite potent if brewed correctly. I can’t promise that someone will fall in love with you. Smitten may be a better word to use. I’m not an amateur potion maker Ron. I usually sell them. And some herbal remedies from well. But please don’t mention anything to Snape.”
“Like hell I would mention anything to him. I don’t think you could do anything wrong in his eyes though.” Ron chuckled. “But why keep it a secret? Isn’t he your uncle or something?”
“Yeah something like that.” (y/n) giggled glancing up at Ron and then back down at her potion. “I just don’t want him interfering or asking questions. It’s a personal endeavor of mine.”
Over the next couple of weeks, Ron and (y/n) grew closer. They would meet almost every night at the Astronomy Tower. The tower provided a secluded haven where they would speak privately without any prying eyes.
Their conversations ranged from trivial matters to deeper thoughts and dreams. Ron discovered that beneath his new friend's quiet exterior, there was a passionate and talented witch that just wanted someone to listen. Someone who would be patient enough to let her speak. Someone who wouldn’t look at her quietness as a weakness, but rather a strength.
One day, the tranquility of their nightly meetings was interrupted when Draco Malfoy mustered up the courage to ask (y/n) out. She politely declined and began to explain to him that she was already seeing someone else.
Ron felt his face immediately heat up when he overheard the exchange. She had to be talking about him, right?
Harry was grinning from ear to ear. Hermione was staring at him with a shocked look on her face.
Draco being the arrogant prick that he was, refused to take no for an answer. He made a big scene, his voice dripping with disdain.
“Are you turning me down for a fucking Weasley?” Draco sneered. His face was contorted with disgust. “I heard the rumors, but I knew there was no way in hell you would be caught dead with a Weasley.”
The Great Hall fell into a hushed silence as Draco Malfoy’s words echoed through the room. All eyes were now on (y/n), the usually reserved Slytherin who rarely spoke above a whisper. She was feeling a sense of embarrassment and anger as Draco’s derogatory remarks lingered in the air.
“Draco please stop making a scene.” The girl was practically pleading with her housemate. She hated all this attention. “It’s none of your business who I choose to be with.”
“Your father would be ashamed if he found out not only his youngest daughter but his pride and joy was messing around with a Weasley. They’re blood traitors. And you’re more than a disappointment to the Slytherin and Rosendale name.”
His words cut deep, but something ignited within (y/n). There had been words that she swallowed for a long time and now they were bubbling to the surface. In a sudden surge of emotions and courage, she found her voice. And it was stronger and fiercer than ever before.
“Enough, Draco.” Her voice rang all throughout the Great Hall. The clarity and strength shocked everyone, even Draco. He took a step back. “You don’t know anything about me. Not once have you ever sat down and really tried to get to know me. You just like the last name. You don’t know the Weasleys either. They are loyal, brave, and compassionate. They have qualities that you can’t even fathom. As far as the Slytherin name, it doesn’t define who I am or what I believe in. I refuse to be bound by the narrow-mindedness of pure-blood supremacy. And don’t you ever bring my family name into this. You and I both know the name goes back before yours. Lucius Malfoy couldn’t dream up a lineage like mine no matter how hard he tried.”
The Great Hall let her words sink in for a moment before erupting into whispers and murmurs as the students tried to process what was happening. Draco stood momentarily speechless. (y/n) knew a retort was coming, so before that could happen, she turned on her heels and fled from the Great Hall. The weight of her own words and unleaded emotions had overwhelmed her. She fled to the one place where she could seek refuge.
Ron Weasley had witnessed the entire confrontation and was astounded by (y/n)’s fierce defense of his family. He had always admired her quiet strength, but this new side of her left him in awe. He wanted to offer his support and he had a feeling where she would take off to.
He followed her down the stairs and into the dungeon. She was hunched over a cauldron and Ron let her do her thing for a minute just sitting beside her. He would allow her to take all the time she needed to gather herself.
“What are you making?” Ron asked after a while of sitting in silence.
“Death Potion.” (y/n) responded without missing a beat causing Ron’s throat to get dry and he swallowed.
“Are you going to give it to Draco?”
“I’m kidding.” She offered him a weak smile. “It’s just the Draught of Peace. I’m sorry for causing a scene back there. That was completely out of character for me. I didn’t mean for things to escalate or for your family to be brought into something like that.”
“You don’t have to apologize (y/n). You didn’t do anything wrong. You stood up for what you believed in and I’m grateful for that.”
“Of course, I would stand up for you Ron.” She signed before walking over to one of the cupboards and pulling out a couple of ingredients. “You’re one of the very few people in this castle who has ever taken any interest in me. You saw beyond the quiet exterior and I appreciate it. Thank you.”
(y/n) stood there for a moment debating if her next move would be completely out of pocket, but she thought about all the negative outcomes and just did it. She turned toward Ron who was standing beside her peering down at her potion with a hint of curiosity. She took a step forward and wrapped her arms around his midsection.
Ron stood there for a moment trying to process what was happening. When he realized that (y/n) was hugging him, he instantly relaxed and wrapped his long slender arms around her. Both of them were in desperate need of some physical contact. Standing here in each other’s embrace carried a sense of comfort and understanding for the two of them. Without really wanting to, (y/n) was the first to pull away. She looked up into Ron’s freckled face.
“You don’t have to thank me (y/n),” Ron said softly. “I’ve always seen you. Even when you thought no one did. You’re brilliant, kind, and more than deserving of attention. Just because you’re on the quieter side, that doesn’t make you any less important. To me, it makes you more intriguing.”
Hearing that someone genuinely appreciated her was a mix of overwhelming and heartwarming. She had spent so much time hidden in the shadows of her older siblings that it was nice for someone to take notice of the real her. Tears started welling up in her eyes again, but this time they were tears of gratitude and relief. She never had anyone like Ron in her life before. Sure her older siblings had been understanding and easy to talk to. But it was hard for them to relate to what she was going through.
As the months went by, Ron and (y/n) continued to meet in the Astronomy Tower. Their conversations started getting deeper than ever before. (y/n) could sit and listen to Ron talk for hours about his adventures with Harry and Hermione. He started during their first year when they came face to face with a giant game of chess looking for the Sorcerer’s Stone and then helping Harry get through the Triwizard Tournament.
Over time Ron started to realize that he and (y/n) were more alike than he would have ever thought. The two of them were overshadowed by older siblings. People thought they knew who they were before getting to know them because of their last names. All they wanted was for someone to see them for who they really were. Maybe just spend some time talking to them and getting to know the person they were beyond the last name or the siblings.
She often felt like her ambitions in the realm of potions and herbology failed in comparison to the things Ron would talk about. However, Ron found himself hanging on to every single word she said.
(y/n) could read him A History of Magic and he would just sit there without even speaking. She would share stories of her experiments and her desire to help others through her creations. Ron would often joke that they could’ve used her during their second year when creating that polyjuice potion.
“Have you ever thought about pursuing a career in potions or healing? I’m sure you could make a real difference?” Ron asked one random afternoon. The two of them were sitting out by the Black Lake together. News about their relationship had traveled so it wasn’t really a secret anymore.
People weren’t sure if they were dating or just really close friends. The two of them didn’t even know the answer to that question.
“I’ve thought about it. I mentioned it to my parents, but I don’t think they see it as a career field they’d like me to go in.” (y/n) had always wanted to contribute to the magical world through her potions.
“You are so talented. Don’t let anyone hold you back from your dreams.” Ron’s voice was filled with convocation. This was someone he wanted so badly to succeed. Ron really saw her as someone with dreams and aspirations, but not some stuck-up Slytherin who nobody wanted to be around. “There is something I’ve been wanting to talk to you about.”
“What is it, Ron?”
After spending countless hours together, Ron knew that his feelings toward (y/n) were real. They were real feelings that he couldn’t keep to himself. He expressed these feelings to Harry and he told him to just tell (y/n). They talked about so many things that nothing was off the table. So why should this be? Even if (y/n) didn’t feel the same way, he liked to think that they could still be friends.
“So uh, I’m just going to come out and say it. You aren’t just someone that I admire. I’ve fallen for you. Honestly, I don’t know what I would do without you and I’m really hoping this doesn’t change anything between us if you don’t feel the same way. You’re one of the best friends I’ve ever had.”
“Ron. I feel the exact same way.” (y/n) was grinning ear to ear.
“Wait really?” Ron’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. This was new to him. He was not used to getting the girls he wanted. They always went for the famous Harry Potter or his hilarious older brothers.
“Of course. You’re amazing Ron and I thought I made that known when I told Draco that I was seeing someone.”
“I thought you were just trying to get him off your case.” Ron chucked. “I didn’t realize you were referring to me. Well in that case, would you do me the honor of going on a date with me?”
“I would love to go on a date with you.” (y/n) happily agreed.
Time seemed to stand still as Ron closed the distance between them. Their lips meet in a sweet kiss and the world around them seemed to fade away as they lost themselves in the moment.

Harry Potter x Reader: Ray of Light
Warnings: Tons of fluff
As the late afternoon sunlight filtered through the windows of the Gryffindor Tower, it cast a warm glow across the room. You sat comfortably in Harry’s dorm room while leaning against a pile of pillows on his bed. The two of you had decided to spend some time away from the worries and dark secrets that currently plagued the corridors of Hogwarts.
As the moments ticked by in comfortable silence, Harry was lazily flipping through the pages of his Potions textbook that had been upgraded by the Half-Blood Prince. Whenever he got some extra time, he loved to flip through the contents of his book and read over new potions and spells.
Momentarily glancing up from the book, he couldn’t help but be captivated by your beauty. The way that the sunlight trickled in from the window danced across her face highlighting everything that Harry deemed to be perfect.
On top of that there was your unwavering support. You had stood by him since day one. Through thick and thin. The way you made him feel grounded when it seemed like everything else was falling apart.
He decided that today was the day. He was going to muster up the courage to tell you exactly how he felt. The truth had been living within his heart for what felt like years now. He slowly closed the book and placed it on his bedside table and turned to face you. His emerald eyes were filled with unspoken longing.
“(y/n), there’s something I need to tell you.” His voice was soft, but it was filled with emotion.
“What’s up Harry?” You pushed yourself up from the pile of pillows and met his gaze filled with curiosity and anticipation.
“You mean the world to me. I never thought I would find someone who understands me like you do. I’ve dealt with a lot of darkness in my life. More than anyone should have to deal with. And you have been my ray of light.” He couldn’t remember the last time he had been this vulnerable with someone. The fact that the sunshine was now trickling across the both of you made this moment even better.
Your heart skipped a beat and the feeling of warmth filled your entire body. You had held on to your feelings for Harry just as long as he had, but you never dared to reveal them out of fear or rejection or even complicating the friend group.
“I’ve felt the same way for so long, Harry.” You reached across the bed and gently grabbed his hand. Your voice was barely audible, but they carried the weight of sincerity.
As both of your words hung in the air, any sort of tension evaporated and was replaced with a sense of comfort. You scooted closer to him, wrapping your arms around him and pulled him in closer. Without even thinking about it, he instantly leaned into your embrace. You rested your head against his chest and listened to the steady beat of his heart. The world outside faded away and left only the two of you embarrassing.
“With everything going on with Voldemort, I couldn’t do this without you by my side.” Harry’s fingertips brushed against your cheek. His touch was as light as a feather.
“You don’t have to do any of this alone Harry. I’m going to be there for whatever you need.” You assured him. There was a flicker of gratitude in his eyes as he rested his forehead against yours. It felt as if the world had conspired to bring you together at this very moment.
“I love you (y/n). I’ve always wondered what it would be like to have someone like you in my life.” He admitted, his voice was a mere whisper. Wrapped in each other’s arms, you felt a sense of serenity, as if the chaos of the world couldn’t reach you here.
These three words hung in the air and carried a profound weight that echoed through the room. It was a declaration that went past the boundaries of friendship. In the stillness of the moment, Harry pressed a gentle kiss against your forehead, his lips lingered against your skin.
As the sun began to dip behind the horizon, you and Harry remained entwined. You know that as long as you had each other, it didn’t matter what was going to happen in the future.

Your Best Friend
Harry: Gryffindor, halfblood, same year
Neville Longbottom: At first it seemed like an unlikely pairing, but at the same time it just made sense. You had such an outgoing and bubbly personality while Neville was more introverted and kept to himself. You two perfectly balanced each other out. The two of you met the first day you arrived at Hogwarts. Once the hat placed you in Gryffindor, you sat down by him and promptly introduced yourself. Whenever people made fun of Neville, you were always there to stand up for him. He didn’t need to say it, but you knew that he was thankful to have you there when Draco was feeling particularly mouthy that day. You were able to bring out that fun and energetic side of him that had been longing to come out while he was able to bring you back down to earth.
Ron: Ravenclaw, muggleborn, year above
Hermione Granger: It was no surprise to anyone that you and Hermione became quick friends once you had gotten talking to each other. At first Ron was a little hesitant to officially introduce the two of you once he became romantically involved with you. Ginny told him that there was nothing to be worried about. She knew that the two of you would get along pretty well. A lot of the students at Hogwarts were always comparing you two which could be a little annoying sometimes. Sometimes you joke about how she should have been placed in Ravenclaw with you. Even though you had never expressed this out loud to her, you did question why the hat hadn’t placed her in Ravenclaw. You had also wondered what that would be like - having your best friend in the same house as you. Even though you two were similar in the academic aspect of your lives, you were completely different in almost every other way.
Draco: Slytherin, pureblood, year below
Blaise Zabini: You two practically grew up together. He knew you better than you knew yourself. You didn’t even have to say anything and Blaise already knew what you were thinking. He was good at finishing your sentences and even better at giving you advice. Even if that advice wasn’t something that you wanted to hear. But he didn’t care. He had never been one to sugarcoat things. Your family was surprised when you had taken an interest in Draco rather than him. Contrary to popular belief, you and Blaise had never been romantically involved in any way. Most girls stayed away from him because they thought he was into you. It was the same for you; most guys avoid you too. From time to time Draco did get jealous, but the both of you told him to get over himself.
George: Slytherin, halfblood, same year
Angelina Johnson: George loved the idea of two of the most important women in his life being close friends. At first Angelina wanted absolutely nothing to do with you. Slytherin weren’t known for having the best reputation at Hogwarts and you completely understood where Angelina was coming from. When he asked Angelina to spend some time with you, she told him off and stormed away. There was no way she would hangout with a Slytherin if she could help it. But as she was thinking about it, she realized she had never heard a bad thing about you. Whenever she saw you walking around the castle, you were always smiling at everyone. She started noticing that in the classes you took together, you would go out of your way to help anyone that needed it. You would help classmates study for Herbology exams and practice wand movements for Transfigurations. Angelina was a little confused as to why you had been placed in Slytherin. She could see you in any house but that one. When she asked Geoge about it, he just shrugged and said that’s what the hat wanted. One day George had gotten tired of Angelina coming up with excuses as to why she couldn’t spend some time with you. So being the sneaky redhead that he was, he managed to trick Angelina and lock her in the same room as you. An hour later, he came back to let her out. He expected the room to be completely silent, but he was met with the two of you giggling so hard that she had tears streaming down her cheeks.
Fred: Gryffindor, pureblood, 2 years below (same as Trio)
Ginny Weasley: Ginny Weasley was a friendly girl and had lots of people who she considered her friend. It was an honor for Ginny to call you her best friend. You were a little more on the quiet side so it was harder for you to make friends. Even though you were a year older than Ginny, it felt like she had taken you under her wing. Before you and Fred started seeing each other, you mentioned staying at Hogwarts during Christmas break, but Fred refused to let that happen when he knew that his mum was more than willing to have you at their home. At the Weasley’s house, you found yourself lodging in Ginny’s room. Ginny said it was like pulling teeth to get you to talk to her, but eventually she managed to break through that exterior shell. And once she did, the two of you were inseparable. Ginny noticed the looks that you and Fred gave each other when you thought that nobody was watching. She absolutely adored you and practically begged Fred to ask you out on a date. You brought out a side of Fred that she had never seen before and she couldn’t wait for him to make you a Weasley.
Cedric: Hufflepuff, muggleborn, same year
George Weasley: At first you two didn’t really get along. You thought that both of the Weasley twins needed to take life a little more seriously. The reason that they were at Hogwarts was to get an education so that they could get a job after school and contribute to society. However, you soon realized that neither of them were looking to get that traditional job like most wizards. Cedric did find the twins entertaining so he would often hang out with them during his free time and drag you along. At first you did your best to avoid them to keep from getting annoyed. Everyone seemed to love them, but you weren’t sure why they rubbed you the wrong day. Late one evening, after a Quidditch game where Gryffindor beat Slytherin, the twin threw a party. Cedric brought you along and after a couple of shots of fire whiskey, you found yourself dancing on a table with George Weasley. George taught you how to not take life so seriously. You can’t change how people feel about you so don’t try. Do what you love and be happy.

Remus Lupin x Reader: I Could Never Hate You
Warnings: A little cliché but nothing more than that
“Do you have a thing for my sister?” James tilted his head to the side and studied one of his closest friends, Remus Lupin, for his reaction. Over the past couple of days, he noticed the way that Remus would look across the Great Hall to where his younger sister was sitting at the Slytherin table.
Of course Remus had a thing for James’ little sister. Who didn’t have a thing for her? Not only was she absolutely beautiful, but she was incredibly smart as well. He thought that beauty and brains were the perfect combination. Remus had overheard a couple of the professors talking and they said that (y/n) was one of the smartest students to ever come through Hogwarts.
Remus and (y/n) were easily the smartest students at Hogwarts. (y/n) was a year younger than the Marauders, however she was in a lot of the same classes as her brother and his friends because of how advanced she was.
The thing was, the two of them were not friends at all. (y/n) did her absolute best to avoid James and his friends. She couldn’t stand them. Especially Remus. She didn’t like that anyone could come close to as smart as she was. The two of them had created this rivalry between each other.
Remus mentioned the rivalry to (y/n), but she rolled her eyes and acted as if she had no idea what he was talking about. Remus noticed that she often did that whenever she found herself in the presence of him and his friends. He didn’t spend much time around (y/n) which probably had to do with the fact that she was in a different house than him. She only spoke to James when it was necessary. Most people didn’t even know that the two of them were related.
(y/n) came to love the look on his face whenever he found out that she had gotten a higher mark than him. Now that she was thinking about it, she had come to love all the looks on his face. It didn’t matter if he was confused, disappointed, or happy, she loved watching his facial expressions. But that was something she liked to keep to herself. That was something that nobody had the pleasure of saying they knew about her.
Occasionally Sirius liked to flirt with (y/n) and she didn’t mind flirting back, but he knew it wasn’t going anywhere. There was absolutely no way that (y/n) would even think about dating one of James’ friends.
“Fucking hell.” James rubbed his temples trying to look anywhere but at Remus. “I actually don’t want you to answer that question.” He already knew the answer to his own question before the words left his mouth. He wasn’t angry at Remus. In all honesty, he didn’t really care if Remus fancied his sister.
He felt bad for Remus. (y/n) would chew him up and spit him out without even thinking twice about it. She wasn’t a girl that liked to date just for the sake of it. If she put any amount of energy into someone, then she was in it for the long run. But the last thing you wanted to do was upset her.
“Look, I know this isn’t ideal, but I promise your sister has absolutely no interest in me. I’m pretty sure she hates me.” Remus sadly sighed.
“She doesn’t hate you mate. Sirius maybe, but not you.” James chuckled softly.
“I don’t think that’s true. Anytime that I even look in her direction, she rolls her eyes at me.”
“She does that to everyone. Have you ever actually tried to talk to her?”
“No but-” Remus started to say, but James held up a hand.
“I think you might be good for her. She might stop being so stuck up. Talk to her.” James couldn’t believe what he was saying. He was actually trying to push his friend on with his little sister.
Over the next couple of weeks, Remus did his absolute best to try to talk to (y/n), but anytime he got close, he chickened out. There was something intimidating about her as well. She reminded him of a fox. They were fascinating to look at and then you mix in the clever and cunning personality.
Late one afternoon, Remus finds himself taking a walk out by the lake. The common room was too loud and he wanted to find a place where he could be alone with his thoughts. During his walk, he found it hard to think about anything but (y/n). It was at times like these where he wished that he was able to come up with smooth pickup lines like his friends. He had never been the best at talking to girls.
Out of the corner of his eye, he notices James’ little sister sitting laying out under a tree reading a book. She was alone so he figured this was the perfect time to talk to her.
At least if he got rejected, there wouldn’t be any witnesses. As he’s admiring her while walking toward her, he tries to come up with something funny to say, but nothing comes to his mind. This is not something that he is good at.
“Hey Remus.” (y/n) softly says as he gets close to her. She gives him a little smile before looking back down at her book.
“Hey. What are you doing out here?” He asks before mentally facepalming himself. What a stupid question. He doesn’t even want to see the look on her face so he just sits down beside her before he can stop himself.
“I’m all caught up with my work and I figured this was a great way to pass some time.” She shrugs. “Do you know Grant Dumas? He’s in my year, but anyway, that guy won’t leave me alone back up in the common room. I came out here hoping to escape him for a little bit.”
“I don’t believe that I know Grant.” Remus said after a moment of thinking. He wasn’t too familiar with many Slytherin.
“He’s not someone that you want to know Remus. He-” (y/n) trailed off as he eyes fixed on something behind his head.
“He what?”
“He’s walking over here.” (y/n) groaned. “I keep telling him that I’m not interested, but he doesn’t take no for an answer.”
“Should I say something to him? Maybe I can tell James what is going on.” Remus offered. Then he turned around to get a look at Grant. He was more or less what Remus was expecting. Strutting toward them, he looked like someone who came from old money. Someone who never heard the word no.
“Absolutely not. The last thing I want is to get James involved. He already thinks I can’t handle things on my own. I have an even better idea.” She smirked a little. Remus had seen that look many times on James' face and now he was worried.
Before Remus even comprehended what was happening, (y/n) had grabbed his tie and pulled him close. She expected the kiss to be soft and gentle, but instead it was rough and passionate. It was as if the two of them had been wanting this for so long and here was their chance. They were making every moment worth it.
His lips were even softer than she thought they would be. And at that moment, (y/n) realized how badly she wanted Remus. She pulls away locking eyes with him before deciding she needs him again. She tries to lean in, but Remus gently cups her cheeks planting soft kisses around her lips. He isn’t sure that he’ll ever get this moment again, so he’s doing everything in his favor to savor it. (y/n) lets out an annoyed sigh which causes Remus to chuckle.
“What’s wrong?”
“I just want you to kiss me again.” She pouts and Remus knows he can’t so no to her. This time the kiss is slow and tender. (y/n) lets his tongue slip into her mouth while her hands make their way to his neck. She’s never been one for PDA, but maybe you just need the right person to bring that out of you.
When they finally pull apart, (y/n) finds a very angry Grant Dumas looking down at her.
“Really (y/n)?” He raises an eyebrow. “A Gryffindor?”
“I think you forget that my brother is a Gryffindor,” she shot back, her eyes narrowing at him. “Besides, I told you that we were never going to work.”
“Don’t come crawling back to me when he breaks your heart?” Grant huffed before heading toward the castle.
“So uh, this is new to me.” Remus admitted nervously scratching the back of his neck.
“What is new to you?” (y/n) asked.
“I don’t usually kiss girls before I go on a date with them.” He answered not sure what this meant for his relationship with (y/n). This was one of the last things he expected to happen with her. “Besides, I thought you hated me.”
“Well aren’t you the gentleman Remus Lupin. But nobody said anything about a date.” (y/n) smiled up at him.
“Well now I’m saying something about a date.” Remus’ confidence was growing. “I want you to go on a date with me (y/n).”
“You don’t have to ask me twice. Oh and Remus, I l never hated you.”

Dean Thomas x Reader: Make a Wish
Warnings: none
Dean couldn't help but grin as he watched his best friend strut into the Great Hall. She was radiating happiness and anyone could tell just by looking at her that this was one of the proudest moments of her life.
After all that time practicing together during the summer, she finally reached her goal. She had done what she set out to do.
When she first set foot in Hogwarts, (y/n) knew that she wanted to try out for that Keeper position when it opened up. The Gryffindor actually cried tears of joy when she found out she made the team. That was the first time Dean had ever seen her cry. All he could do was pull her into a hug while she let the tears out.
Being the Keeper on the Gryffindor meant so much to (y/n). More than anyone knew. Her dad was a Gryffindor and his position was Keeper when he was at school.
(y/n)'s dad ended up passing away before her first year at Hogwarts and he didn't get a chance to know that she was sorted into the same house he was. Now here she was 5 years later wanting to be exactly like him.
Angelina walked in front of her team since she was the captain. Her long black hair was tied up in a high ponytail. She flashed one of her signature smiles at the Ravenclaw table which caused them to let out a couple of cheers and continued to her seat.
The rest of the team followed her with (y/n) in the back. Her (h/c) hair was pulled into a ponytail similar to Angelina's. She sat down between Fred and George. The Weasley brothers were not looking their best at the moment. They were actually looking rather sick. A couple of seats down from the twins sat Harry Potter. He didn't look like he was too interested in whatever was on his plate in front of him.
Angelina was trying to get the team to eat something, but they just weren't having it.
This afternoon was the Quidditch Final. It would be Gryffindor vs Slytherin.
This was something that everyone had been looking forward to for the past couple of weeks. Tensions were brewing between the two houses.
There had been a couple of fights in the hallways that resulted in a few lost teeth, a couple of broken knuckles and noses, followed by a minor concussion.
The Slytherins hissed at (y/n) when she walked by, but even that couldn't dampen her mood. She just giggled, tossed her ponytail over her shoulder, and blew them kisses.
That instantly caused them to shut up.
Everyone knew that Gryffindor had the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff on their side. Some of the other houses may not have liked them, but they preferred Gryffindor over the Slytherins.
(y/n) didn't sit with the team though, she marched right by them and sat down beside Dean. He was rather shocked. Sure, they had been best friends since the day they met back on the train, but she should be sitting with her team.
"It's the final (y/n)," he raised an eyebrow at the smiling girl. "You should be sitting with your team; not me."
"Without you, I wouldn't be on this team Dean." She grinned and pulled him into a hug. (y/n) reached out and piled tons of food onto her plate. For about 10 minutes, Dean and (y/n) just ate not speaking about anything. Two best friends just enjoying each other's company. "Well Angelina is calling and I'm going to make sure that everyone else is eating." (y/n) leaned down to give him a quick kiss on the forehead before heading down to where her team was sitting.
A sudden feeling spread through Dean that he only felt whenever he was around (y/n). It made his head hurt, his heart gets stuck in his throat, and his stomach filled with butterflies.
Dean wanted to act out on his actions but he wasn't sure how she would take it. They had known each other for 5 years and always at one of the other's houses during the school breaks. They spent a lot of time together, and if something hadn't happened yet between the two of them, then nothing was ever going to happen.
(y/n) skipped down to the part of the table where her team was sitting. She was almost positive that they thought it was a little strange that she was sitting with Dean instead of them, but they were being so dreary today. She really needed someone to take her mind off what was going to be going down in about an hour.
"You guys have got to eat." She placed her hands on her hips and glared down at all of them. Harry just shook his head and mumbled something about being too nervous to eat. (y/n) rolled her eyes and sat down beside Katie Bell. She wasn't eating anything either. She was just staring at the glass of milk in front of her. "I give up." (y/n) groaned and put her head down on the table.
"Alright, everyone." Angelina stood up and clapped her hands and looked around at the team. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed that the Slytherin team had finally begun to stand up and head out of the Great Hall. "It's time to head down to the field."
The team very slowly got up from the table and began heading to the table. (y/n) tried to give words of encouragement, but it didn't seem to be helping that much. If they wanted to win this game, they really needed to cheer up. It was going to be hard to actually win if the team couldn't keep their spirits up.
Angelina and (y/n) were trying to do just that and the Weasleys were starting to join in. If only that good mood would rub off onto everyone else.
When the team had finally gotten down to the locker room, the good mood slowly started to rub off on everyone else. Everyone was starting to believe that they could actually pull this off. They had one of the best Seekers the Gryffindor house had ever seen and there was no way that Malfoy was better than Harry. Especially since Harry had the Firebolt.
"Everyone listen up!" Angelina called and stepped up onto the benches. She was already dressed in her scarlet robes, and everyone else was gradually getting there. "Remember we have to be up at least by 90 points to ensure that we win the House Cup. Only then should you catch the snitch Harry. You guys know how much I hate long speeches, but we have been practicing long and hard for this. Much longer than the Slytherin house has, and I know that we all want it a lot more than any of us do. But whatever happens, just know that I love you guys, it's been a great season, and I am honored to say that I got to play alongside each and every one of you guys." Angelina looked around the room at every single one of us. There were silent tears streaming down her cheeks and she wasn't trying to hide them.
"We love you too Angie!" Fred grinned at her and jumped onto the bench to give her a quick kiss on the cheek. She just giggled and lightly shoved him away from her.
***
(y/n) looked around the field not caring that the team was trying to drag her to the common room to celebrate. She didn't care about any of that. Her eyes scanned the stands looking for the only person who mattered.
She found him and took off with his open arms. (y/n) jumped into Dean's arms hugging him tightly.
"We did it!" She wrapped her arms around his neck and he wrapped his around her waist pulling her in tightly.
"Yes. You did it." He said when they finally pulled apart. "Now let's go have some fun." He said pulling her towards the Gryffindor common room.
***
"What do you want?" (y/n) snatched her arm out of Bennett's grasp. She had been trying to avoid him all night. Well now that she was thinking about it, she had been trying to avoid him for the past couple of weeks. He was making all the advances on her, but she just didn't like him like that. Bennett was a nice guy, but she just didn't feel like that toward him.
"Well hello to you beautiful." He grinned. She could tell that he had been having too much fire whiskey. (y/n) could smell it on his breath, and it was not the most appealing smell if you were trying to woo someone. "I just wanted to come over and say that you played amazing this afternoon."
"Thank you." Was all she said before trying to walk away from him. Her eyes scanned the room looking for Dean. Maybe he could help her get out of this.
"You don't have to be like that (y/n)." He reached out and grabbed her wrist. "I know that you like me. It's pretty obvious."
"You wish. Now I'm not going to ask you again to let me go." (y/n) sneered. She tried to snatch out of his grasp but Bennett's was stronger than hers.
"Let her go," a voice said. They both turned to see Dean standing there glaring at Bennett. He instantly let go and backed away. She has never seen Dean that upset, and judging by Bennett, he never has either. "Can't you see that she isn't interested Bennett?" Dean stepped in between the two of them.
"And what are you going to do about it Dean?" Bennett glared at him. (y/n) had never seen them like this and something let me know that this had been going on for some time now.
Dean's fist clenched and unclenched before turning on his heel and heading out of the common room. She tried to call him back but he didn't listen. She glared at Bennett before running after him.
(y/n) knew where Dean was going. It wasn't even a question in her mind where he was. She went straight to the Astronomy tower.
Astronomy was Dean's favorite class because it closely resembled something that Muggles loved. (y/n) thought she had heard him talk about Zodiacs a couple of times.
"Mind if I join you?" She questioned sitting down beside him. He didn't say anything, but he didn't even acknowledge her existence so she figured it would be alright if she just sat down beside him. "Are you and Bennett alright?" He still didn't say anything. "Please talk to me Dean-" She began but was cut off by a pair of lips on hers.
A million questions were running through her head and she wasn't sure how she was feeling about this. Dean and she were just friends, right? But the way that he was kissing her didn't make me think so. Now that she was kissing him, she realized that she did like Dean and she really did like kissing him too.
"Does that answer your question?" he said when he pulled away from her. she couldn't even say anything to him. All she could do was kiss him back, and hope that the kiss would answer her question.
"Look." (y/n) pointed up at the sky. "A shooting star. You should make a wish." She grinned and grabbed Dean's hand.
"There's no need for that." He chucked clutching her hand even tighter.
"Why not?" She questioned looking at him.
"Because you're right here (y/n). My wish came true."

Ron Weasley x Reader: Can We Start Over?
Warnings: I just wanna say I don’t condone cheating, but I wanted this to have a happy ending.
"Mum. Are you in here?" Ginny Weasley called out to her mother while walking into the kitchen of the Burrow.
"Yes, Ginny?" Molly Weasley called back to her youngest child. Molly was frantically running around the kitchen trying to make sure that every single thing was perfect for (y/n).
(y/n) and Ginny had become best friends during their first year at Hogwarts. Ron had kicked Ginny out of his compartment and (y/n)'s older brother kicked her out as well. Ginny found (y/n) sitting alone and practically begged her to sit with her. The last thing she wanted was to ride all the way to Hogwarts alone.
"(y/n) just sent me a letter. She's getting ready to leave her house in about thirty minutes."
"Thirty minutes?" If it was even possible, Molly was moving even faster than before. There were knives, plates, glasses, spoons, and a couple of plates flying around the kitchen. A knife came flying at Ginny, but she easily dodged it since she was so used to the kitchen being like this.
"Your favorite sons are finally home." George poked his head into the kitchen while making sure that he kept his eyes on everything that was flying around. He and Fred had closed down the shop early so they could come home to enjoy this huge dinner that they had heard about. "You know that this isn't the first time that (y/n) has met us. She knows all of us pretty well besides Charlie."
"That is all true," Fred added poking his head in beside his twin, "Just because you don't make this fantastic dinner for (y/n) isn't going to make her like us any less."
"I know that Fred and George, but it's the first time that she's coming to our house. I know that it may not be what a family like hers is used to. I just want to make a good impression on her. I can't believe that Ginny has known her for six years, and this is the first time she's come over."
"Wait." George scratched his head as if he was in deep thought. "Is (y/n) pureblood."
"Nope." Ginny shook her head, bright red hair swaying all down her back. "She's half. But her father is very well known in the Ministry."
"He's very high up in the Ministry," Fred said. "Mr.Malfoy is even okay with (y/n)'s mom coming over to the Manor for the extravagant balls and dinners. Yet, she doesn't have a drop of magical blood in her." And with that note, the twins had just left the kitchen to head up to their bedrooms to get changed into something comfier.
"What about (y/n)?" It was Ron who had just come down after hearing all the commotion. He was followed by Harry who caused Ginny's cheeks to flush a light pink. Even though Ginny had been seeing Harry all this time, he never failed to cause certain emotions to go through her.
"She's coming over," Ginny smirked at him watching him blush. She knew exactly how Ron felt about (y/n).
He had the biggest crush on her and Ginny actually thought it was adorable. (y/n) told Ginny that she thought he was cute, but she never thought about any feelings for him. She said that if Ron ever made the first move then she would gladly accept it and see where their relationship would go.
"(y/n)-" he stammered. "Like your friend (y/n)." Ron's face was slowly approaching the same color as his hair. Ron hit the deck as a knife flew over. If he hadn't ducked, that knife might have found a home in the side of his neck. "When is she going to be here?" And right as he said that there was a knock at the door.
"That should be her," Harry smirked looking at his best friend. Over the course of the years, Harry and (y/n) had become very close. They weren't as close as Ron and Harry, but they were pretty close to that.
"(y/n)!" Ginny yelled pulling open the door. She pulled her into a hug which she gladly returned. And there stood the most beautiful girl Ron had ever seen in his life.
It seemed as if every time he saw her, she got more and more beautiful. Ron didn't hear a word that she was saying, but he sure was focused on her lips. He was wondering what it was like to kiss her.
She was talking to his mom, Ginny, Harry, and the twins. But he didn't engage in the conversations because he was trying to figure out how someone so beautiful could be in his presence.
"Close your mouth," Harry snickered and patted his back. "You'll catch flies."
***
"I don't ever want to see you again Ronald Weasley." (y/n) screamed at Ron in the Gryffindor common room. Everyone instantly stopped what they were doing and turned to focus on the scene that was unfolding before them.
People claim to hate drama, but whenever some drama goes down, they were the first ones there.
Ron wasn't sure what to do. Hermione and Ginny were standing over to the side eye wide. They wanted to help (y/n), but they didn't know what to say. They couldn't think of anything that would make her feel better. Ginny was starting to feel her blood boil. How could her brother do that to her best friend?
Harry had just walked into the common room from getting some more butterbeer and fire whiskey. He was still holding the snitch from the match earlier, but he could tell something was off.
The atmosphere in the room just didn't feel right. He let out a mental sigh, all he wanted to do was enjoy this party after this Quidditch match that the Gryffindor had won. Then he noticed what was wrong.
Ron had his arm tightly wrapped around Lavender and she was smirking. Hermione and Ginny were both glaring at the two of them, and (y/n) was standing over to the side with silent tears streaming down her cheeks.
But all you needed was one glance at Lavender to tell that she was clearly enjoying the attention. She had her eye on Ron for a while, and when she saw the opportunity to take out her threat. She snatched it like a shark that smelled blood in the water.
"Shows over." Harry snapped at the rest of the Gryffindor house. After what had just happened, it would be hard to go back to partying. Luckily it was 2 in the morning, so most of the younger students decided they would head up to bed.
The older ones passed glances of empathy at (y/n) before heading to bed or just to play a couple of games of wizard chess before turning in for the evening.
Lavender sent one last smirk at (y/n), blew a kiss to Ron, and headed up to her dorms. Ginny made a lunge at her, but Hermione managed to hold her back.
"What happened?" Harry asked his friends even though he knew exactly what happened. He was feeling mixed emotions about the whole situation because Ron was his best mate, but he did have slight feeling for (y/n).
Because Ron liked her, he decided to keep those feelings pushed down and just see (y/n) as a younger sister. Some days were better than others.
"I honestly don't know-" Ron ran his hand through his hair making it even messier from Lavender's roaming fingers.
"You made out with Lavender," Hermione simply stated crossing her arms. "Don't act like you don't know what happened."
"That's what happened?" He looked down at his shoes not wanting to meet anyone's eyes.
"Yes, that's exactly what happened. Don't play dumb." Ginny snapped, "I saw you, Hermione saw you, (y/n) saw you. The whole Gryffindor house saw you, Ron Weasley."
"You were all over Lavender," Hermione said her mouth in a straight line.
"And it was disgusting." Ginny added on. "I cannot believe you right now. I stick my neck out so that you can have at least a chance with (y/n) and you go make out with some slut who's had half the Gryffindor house's tongue shoved down her throat."
"Is this true?" Harry turned toward Ron with his green eyes wide.
"Alright. I did it." Ron threw his hands up in the air, "I wasn't thinking straight. I've had way too many drinks and Lavender was right there and I don't know what happened. It just happened. I don't have an excuse."
Harry looked completely disappointed with his friend. He shook his head and walked over to one of the sofas to take a seat.
A small sob escaped from (y/n), and she tried to cover her mouth before it slipped out, but it didn't work. Ron instinctively reached for her, but she took a step back and ran out of the portrait hall. Harry got up from the couch and followed behind her.
"Harry, where are you going?" Ginny questioned.
"Even though he may be my best mate," Harry jabbed a finger at Ron, "you hurt her for no good reason. Ron, she loves you. And like Ginny said, you ruined a perfectly good relationship for her. She needs someone to comfort her."
"I'm so sorry." Ron looked at his sister and his other best friend, but they didn't look like they wanted to accept his apology.
"Why are you apologizing to us?" Ginny sneered.
"You should really be out there looking for (y/n) and trying to apologize to her." Hermione nodded.
"I would, but I really don't think she wants to see me right now." Ron sighed and lowered himself onto the sofa Harry was sitting on moments before. How could he have ruined a relationship like that?
Sometimes it seemed as if (y/n) was the only one that was on his side. The only one that believed he should keep trying at Quidditch even though he thought he was horrible. Even though pretty much the whole school thought he was horrible. (y/n) was always in his corner. And this is how he relayed her?
***
It had been a couple of weeks since (y/n) and Ron's relationship was over. They thought that time would heal the wounds, but as the days went by, it seemed to get worse.
To cover up how he was feeling, Ron started spending more and more time with Lavender. (y/n) wanted to cry every single time she saw or thought about them News traveled around the school fast and pretty much everyone had heard what was going on.
Even Draco had tried to come and comfort (y/n), but all she wanted was Ron back. She wouldn't ever admit that though. Draco told her that she was too good for him and that he didn't deserve her.
"I was thinking about going out to Hogsmeade tonight." Harry sat down beside (y/n) at a table in the library. She had devoted herself to doing the best she could in all of her classes to take her mind off Ron. Which meant spending just about every moment in this library with her nose shoved into some textbook.
"Why?"
"What do you mean why? It's the weekend, you should get out and do something fun. We miss you (y/n) and Ron won't be there so don't worry about it. Just be ready at 7 and dress nice, okay?" And with that Harry left (y/n) wondering what he had planned.
Later that evening they headed with a couple of the other students to a little pub. Ginny went up to order the drinks while everyone else went to look for the table. After sitting and talking with her, Hermione, and Harry, everything started to feel normal again. Like maybe (y/n) could actually get over Ron. Well, that's what she was thinking until he entered the pub.
He found their table and quickly walked over there. (y/n) was looking for Lavender, but she was nowhere to be found which was weird because they went everywhere together. (y/n) then looked down studying her napkin as if it was the most intresting napkin in the world and not the same ones that they used back in the Great Hall.
(y/n) was glad that she actually decided to throw on some last-minute makeup before she came down here. The night seemed to drag on forever. (y/n) and Ron didn't talk directly to each other, they just gave their input here and there never talking to the other.
"I need to make a run to the ladies' room." (y/n) had become a little tipsy from the couple of shots of fire whiskey she had. Harry was sitting on the outside and she was just going to crawl over him so he didn't have to put himself in the middle of this crowded pub, "I'm just going to squeeze over you." She giggled and attempted to crawl over the raven-haired boy. (y/n) slipped and fell right onto Harry's lap. Harry felt his cheeks heat up, but he gently pushed (y/n) off of him and steadied her on the ground. "Sorry." She giggled one last time before scampering off.
Ron didn't know what had come over, but he was furious with Harry. He was just yelling at him and really starting to cause a scene so Hermione made them take their argument outside.
When (y/n) came back she looked around the table confused, and a sweet boy in Hufflepuff told them that they had gone outside. Hermione and Ginny were just standing there watching them back and forth like a tennis match. A large crowd had even gathered around to watch and see what all the fuss was about.
"You hurt her." Harry roared, "She loved you Ron and you threw all that away for some kiss? Some girl that just happened to be there at the moment? You couldn't stand Lavender last year."
"I know Harry." He roared back, "You don't think that those thoughts cross my mind every single moment that I'm awake and they haunt my dreams."
"I could treat her better than you can." Harry mumbled looking down at the snowy ground. (y/n)'s eyes grew wide and she couldn't help but think if she had been with Harry would she have gotten hurt like this?
"Harry you don't deserve her." Ron looked down and shook his head.
"And you do?" Harry shot back.
"No," Ron mumbled and that surprised everyone. "That's the thing. None of us do. She's too good for this earth Harry, don't you understand that? Not only is she beautiful on the outside, but she is just as stunning on the inside. She thinks everyone deserves a second chance no matter how horrible what they did. But she gave me a chance Harry. She could have anyone but she gave me a chance that I ruined. And if I was her, I wouldn't give myself a second chance either. I messed it up for some girl that isn't half as amazing as her." Tears spilled from both Ron's and (y/n)'s eyes. Hermione even looked as if she was on the verge of tears. "She's too good for me Harry, but if you think you can do a better chance, go ahead. Just once you get her, don't ever do anything to let her go."
"Ron." (y/n) whispered stepping out of the darkness and under a streetlamp.
"I am so sorry." Was all he could say before (y/n) had ran into his arms. "If you gave me another chance, I would never hurt you."
"I guess everyone deserves a second chance."
"So that means I can start over?" Ron asked and (y/n) nodded.
"Sure." She whispered.
"Hi, I'm Ron Weasley."
"And I'm (y/n) (l/n)."

hiii! i’m new to your page but i love your name and i wanted to say thank you soooo much for putting the tw before your writings!! sometimes i’m like ahhh noooooooooooo midway
Thank you! And of course, I've always thought that it was important for authors to do that before their writing. Most of my writing is pretty mild, but I still like to include it.

Here is the link to my masterlist.
This one is a little long because I didn't divide it up into 2 parts, but I hope everyone enjoys! Do you prefer them to be shorter or a little on the longer side?
You Get Jealous
Harry: Gryffindor, halfblood, same year
I hate her. I hate her. I hate her.
I know hate is a strong word, but it was the only emotion I was feeling at this moment. I hate her perfect flaming red her. I hate her perfect freckled complexion. And I hate her perfect personality. She had Harry wrapped around her perfect little finger. She didn't even have to do anything. She just existed and he was obsessed.
After I had to play in that Quidditch match for Harry, Oliver Wood wanted me to start coming to practice. I was learning the roles of the other positions. He explained that he wanted to have me around just in case.  I was not looking forward to playing Quidditch in front of a crowd again. I hope nobody on the team needed me.
On the way to the field for an afternoon practice on Saturday, Ginny spent the entire time flirting with Harry. She was the team's new Chaser. It was as if he actually enjoyed the attention.
I mean who wouldn’t. There were guys who would go to detention for an entire month with Snape if they got a chance just to talk to Ginny Weasley.
She was absolutely perfect. I hated that I felt this way because I liked to consider Ginny one of my closest friends.
I tried not to scoff as I watched Ginny talking to Harry. She was batting her eyelashes and giggling. She would touch his arm and he leaned into her touch. Harry was laughing at things that she was saying, but I couldn’t hear what the conversation was about. I knew that Harry wasn't faking his laughter. Ginny was a funny person.
During practice I sat in the stands and took notes on the different positions. The only position that I think I would have liked besides Seeker would be Beater. I think I would imagine the ball as Ginny's head.
While I was watching practice, I was thinking about how I was so happy that I wasn't actually practice. It was a grueling one. Oliver told us that he wanted to win the championship this year and he wasn't playing.
He was making sure that this team was ready for anything and everything. I did appreciate him for that, but I would much rather be curled up in the common room with a good book.
That sounded much better than watching Ginny and Harry flirt. Anything sounds much better than that.
She looked absolutely perfect while she was flying around on her broom. She wasn't sweaty at all. There wasn't a single hair out of place on her head.
"You're scowling. What's wrong?" Hermione asked from beside me. She decided that come down to the quidditch pitch to hang out with me since she was done with all her homework for the day.
"I'm not scowling Hermione." I grumbled tearing my eyes away from Ginny so that I could look at her.  I was happy to have her here.
"You’re definitely scowling (y/n). You don’t have to talk about what's wrong to me, but don't keep all your emotions bottled up inside. It's not good for you." She calmly replied.
Hermione had always been good at reading me. I knew that she knew what was wrong with me. She wasn't going to force me to say anything, but she knew what was going on in my mind.
"I know Hermione. I just get so..." I trailed off not really sure how to explain to her how I felt.
"Jealous." Hermione shrugged as if it wasn't that hard to explain. It wasn’t really. I just didn't want to admit it out loud. "I don’t think you have anything to worry about (y/n). I know Harry likes you.”
"Nothing to worry about?" I rolled my eyes at her. "Ginny is perfect. She is absolutely perfect and I'm just me."
"Please don’t say that about yourself (y/n). You're perfect too. You just don’t see yourself the same way that we see you."
That didn't ease my anger at all. Not even a little bit. Ginny had been making these googly eyes at Harry all practice and I couldn’t take it anymore.
Once practice was finally over, I angrily shoved into her making sure that I bumped into her shoulder. Hard. She stumbled backwards and fell onto the ground. I smirked as I stomped off towards the castle.
I needed to go somewhere where I knew that I could be alone. I needed to be alone. I barely made it to the Room of Requirement before I collapsed onto one of the couches sobbing.
I pulled my knees into my chest and rocked slightly to sooth myself. There was absolutely nothing but silence in the room. The only thing I could hear was the sound of my sniffles.
Was I not enough for him? I mean I knew I couldn’t compete with her, but that didn't mean he had to rub it in my face. I just needed to accept the fact that I wasn't Ginny Weasley and I never would be.
"What the hell is wrong with you (y/n)?" Harry practically shouted storming into the room. His angry face was replaced with concern when he saw me balled up on the couch. I tried to respond to him, but I started crying again.
He slowly walked over to me and sat down. I could hardly see him through my tears. I couldn’t catch my breath.
"Please tell me what's wrong." He tried to pull me into his arms, but I pushed him away. I didn’t want him touching me right now.
"Am I just a game to you?" I asked as I angrily wiped away the tears.
"No (y/n). I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry."
"Then why?"
"I just wanted you to know how I felt when I saw you kissing Oliver."
"You mean to tell me that you toyed with my emotions because you're still stuck on something that happened over a year ago?" I was furious. He leaned forward to comfort me, but I pushed myself away.
"Yeah." He awkwardly reached up and scratched the back of his neck. "It sounds stupid when you say it like that, but I didn’t think you were going to get so upset over me talking to her."
"You weren't just talking to her. You two were all over each other." I muttered shaking my head. "I was very jealous. I know it sounds kinda stupid, but I didn't like it."
"Nothing you say sounds stupid. I'm sorry for making you feel that way."
"You better not let it happen again."
Ron: Ravenclaw, muggleborn, year above
Ron and I had always been close ever since I slapped him. I knew that I shouldn’t have a crush on him. I couldn’t lose him. Nor could I stand his rejection. I was almost positive that he had a thing for Lavender.
The thing was, he didn’t seem as into her as she was into him. I liked to think that he didn't really like her. He was just being polite. That would be the best case scenario, but life never worked out like that for me.
After some time, I wasn’t so sure. Seeing the two of them together was a constant reminder of my feelings. I tried to push those feelings away, but it was hard. It was really hard.
"Hey Ronnie." Came that annoying voice. It was Lavender. "I have a lot of work left for History of Magic. I was wondering if you could help me."
"What's in it for me?" Ron raised an eyebrow at his fellow Gryffindor.
"Whatever you want." She suggestively grinned at him causing my jaw to drop. "We can decide on something later tonight."
Ron sheepishly grinned and began gathering all of his belongings. He quickly shoved them all into his backpack and practically ran behind Lavender out of the common room.
"Gross." Hermione shuddered before gathering all of her things and heading out of the common room as well. That left me and Harry to talk about all the random things that had gone on in our lives this week.
Harry and I were no means that close, but I did spend a decent amount of time in their common room because of Hermione. We had become extremely close over the past year. I was proud to say that she was one of my best friends.
"How do you feel about Ron and Lavender?" Harry asked. I had a feeling that he had been wanting to ask me that for a while.
"Are they like together together?" I asked testing the waters. "If I'm going to honest, Lavender is not the type of girl I saw him with. I figured him and Hermione would be together by now."
"Him and Hermione argue way too much for any sort of relationship. Lavender did come out of the blue for me too. I think he's with her because he's trying to get over another girl, but you didn’t hear that from me."
The following week I managed to catch up with Ron when we both had a free period. Since we weren't in the same year it could be hard to get some time together, but we did have the same free period on Thursdays.
"How's it going with you and Lavender?" I asked as we stepped outside. We would usually walk around the grounds taking in all the scenery.
"What do you mean?" He looked confused.
"Lavender Brown? I thought the two of you were together now."
"Oh, I wouldn’t go as far as saying that we're together. It's nice to have something warm to snuggle up with in the common room, you know?"
"Ron Weasley." I stopped walking and grabbed both of his shoulders so that he could look me in the face. "You can't lead her on. That isn't fair. Especially when she thinks that your relationship could be going somewhere."
"I wouldn’t call it leading on (y/n). Besides, I think she's in the same headspace as me. We're not looking for it to go anywhere." He let out a small sigh. "I've been interested in this other girl for a while, but I don’t think she wants anything to do with me."
He had to be talking about Hermione.
"That can't be true Ron. Any girl would be lucky to have you. You're a great guy." We started back walking on the path through one of the courtyards.
"Thanks (y/n)." He darkly chuckled. "I think she just sees me as a friend though. She's never done or said anything to make me think that she was interested."
"Maybe she's nervous." I suggested. "Or she gets a little shy around you."
"I don’t think so. She's never nervous or shy around me. It's quite the opposite. Maybe it's time that I move on, you know? Maybe I should try pushing it a little harder with Lavender."
"No." I immediately shook my head. Ron turned to look at me with wide eyes.
"No what?"  He raised an eyebrow.
"No. You shouldn’t move on."
"Is there something you want to tell me (y/n)?" He smirked.
"No." I grumbled.
"It's okay. You can say it. You can say that you were jealous."
"I wasn't jealous Ron." I calmy addressed. "I just don’t think it's fair to Lavender to drag your fling out when you can clearly see that she has feelings for you. You don’t want to lead her on when you have feelings for someone else."
"Hmm you're right." Ron nodded. We went back on talking about random things for the rest of the walk. Lavender hadn’t been brought back up. We headed back towards the castle when it was time for me to go to Charms class.
"Bye Ron." I gave him a little wave as I started heading up the stairs.
"Oh and (y/n)?" He called out to me before I had gotten too far away. I turned around raising my eyebrows to let him know that I was listening. "It's okay to be jealous."
Draco: Ravenclaw, pureblood, year below
This was new to her. She had taken one too many shots of fire whisky and now she was dancing on top of one of the common room tables.
(y/n) was not used to all the attention, but in this moment she had all eyes on her. Nobody was complaining though. It was nice to see the girl who was usually so shy and tame having a little bit of fun.
Tonight everyone was celebrating the end of OWLS. Even though it was only the 5th years that took them, everyone got to enjoy the perks of the parties.
Little did (y/n) know, Draco was paying very close attention to her. He had never seen her drunk before so this was new to him as well.
Draco didn't dance. Not one bit. So he had found a spot in the corner of the room where he would be able to watch (y/n).
Her hips swayed to the music and it looked as if she was having a really good time. Watching her dance on an elevated surface was something Draco could get used to.
He sat there for a while sipping his drink and enjoying the show. He didn't really like being the center of attention so this was perfect for him.  Everything about this night had gone perfect. That was until he saw Pansy Parkinson making his way towards her. He tried to look away from her, but she managed to catch his gaze.
Pansy sat down on the couch beside him and tried to smile seductively at him. Sure, Pansy was a pretty girl, but he had absolutely no interest in her.
"How's your night going Draco?" She sweetly asked.
"It's going fine." He replied. He wanted to be short with his responses, but still polite. "How is yours going Pancy?"
"Mine is going really well. Thank you for asking."
"That's good Pansy."
"I don’t understand why (y/n) thinks it's a good idea to dance on the table. And then she's got that tiny dress on. It’s like she wants everyone to look at her."
"You know (y/n) isn’t like that." Draco coldly replied. He wasn’t going to let Pansy disrespect her. "She's just having a little bit of fun. She deserves it. Especially after all those hours she spent helping us study for OWLS. She didn't have to do that."
Pansy started talking, but Draco zoned out. He didn’t really care what Pansy had to say about (y/n). He was just happy that she was loosening up a little bit. As he was watching her, he noticed her eyes angrily narrow at Pansy.
Was that jealously he detected? He didn't think that (y/n) would ever be jealous of Pansy. She had absolutely no reason to be. But he knew that face. It was the face he made whenever he saw (y/n) talking to Ron Weasley.
It was the face of jealously. Maybe he could use Pansy to his advantage to see if (y/n) felt the same way about him.
He knew that he had (y/n)'s attention when she stopped dancing and had her gaze firmly fixed on the two of them. He leaned into Pansy acting as if he was extremely interested in what she had to say. He would make sure to touch her and chuckle at everything she was saying. Draco knew that he had (y/n)'s undivided attention.
(y/n) reached up and began weaving her hands through her hair. Her hips were swaying perfectly with the music as she maintained eye contact with the blonde. She ran her hands down her body making sure that the dance was more sensual than it had been before.
Damn, Draco could get used to seeing a drunk and jealous (y/n).
Pansy placed her hand on his forearm. He wanted to shake her away, but he noticed that (y/n) had hopped down from the table and was now making her way over to the two of them.
"Come dance with me Draco." She had her hands firmly placed on her hips. Even though it was a request, she wasn’t asking.
"Can't you see that he's a little busy?" Pansy spoke up.
"I want to dance Draco." (y/n) was speaking to Draco, but she was looking at Pansy. Pansy stared right back at (y/n). She wasn't just going to back down.
"Your wish is my command." He sheepishly grinned and wrapped an arm around (y/n)'s waist pulling her to the middle of the common room. They left behind a stunned looking Pansy.
"What was that (y/n)?" He smirked as her spun her around and she pressed up against his body. The two of them began moving to the music. The both of them knew that Pansy was watching so they wanted to give her a good show.
"I didn’t like the way she was all up on you." (y/n) huffed.
"Hmm do I detect a hint of jealousy?"
"No. You detect a lot of jealousy."
George: Slytherin, halfblood, same year
Once the sound of clanging pots and pans drifted up to my bedroom, I knew it was time to get out of the bed. I was never awaken this way at my house, but I came to love the sounds at the Weasley household.
As I got out of bed and tried to make myself look more presentable, the smell of bacon began wafting up the stairs. There was no food in the word that came anywhere close to Molly Weasley's cooking.
I finally climbed out of the warm bed and slipped a hoodie on over my tank top. I headed downstairs to see that I was the last one to make my way to the kitchen. Everyone else had gathered in the living room to wait for Molly to finish up cooking.
"Good morning  sleeping beauty. Nice of you to join on." George joked looking over in my direction.
"You were up there so long I thought you had died." Fred added on. I rolled my eyes and flipped off the twins. The first time I did that, the twins didn't understand the gesture. It came from my Muggle side. Once they learned what it meant, it was something we did to each other all the time.
When breakfast was done cooking, Molly called all of us into the kitchen. I got ready to sit down beside George, but not before Hermione could slip into the seat before I could. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
I always sat in this seat beside George. I shrugged it off and took the seat across the table from him which was beside Ron. I didn't mind sitting by Ron at all. It was just weird because she was the one who usually sat by Ron.
Hermione and Ginny instantly began talking about celebrities from the Muggle world. Hermione had brought pictures to show Ginny. I mostly just listened to their conversation, but I would give some input every now and then. I think a lot of people forgot that my mom was a Muggle, so I was familiar with a lot of these things.
"So Hermione," Ginny gushed, "What are you looking for in a partner?"
"I've always wanted someone who could make me laugh. They need to be a kind person as well. You know that I'm not obsessed with looks, it's more about personality for me. But it wouldn’t hurt if they're nice to look at, you know? I would also like them to be taller than me which shouldn’t be too hard since I'm not the tallest person."
"Hmm sounds like you just described me." George interjected bringing all the attention to him. Hermione clearly blushed and looked away from the beaming redhead.
I felt my fist clenching and I had to force myself to finish the rest of my breakfast. If I didn’t, Molly was sure to ask what was wrong. I didn’t feel like explaining to her that I was jealous of another girl who I would be living with for the next couple of weeks.
Once breakfast was over, the boys and Ginny decided that they wanted to play Quidditch. It was snowing outside so it was pretty cold. I made sure to put on extra socks. I hated when my toes got cold.
Hermione made her way over to a spot on the porch so she could read a book she had just gotten, but still pay attention to the game happening above. I would be the referee for their little match.
They had been playing for a little while and I watched as George flew down and landed beside Hermione. He said something to her, but I was too far away to hear. They exchanged a couple of words and George quickly ran inside. After a couple of moments, he came back out with one of his knitted sweaters that he always got for Christmas.
It was one of the signature knitted sweaters from Molly. Why was he giving it to Hermione? She immediately pulled it on over her head and gave George the biggest smile ever.
I felt myself shaking with rage. He didn't even ask if I was cold. I told everyone that I had to go to the bathroom and headed towards the house. George called after me, but I just kept walking.
I tried to quickly walk upstairs to the bathroom, but I was no match to his long strides. I managed to get to the bathroom and almost slam the door, but he caught ahold of it.
"What are you doing?" I hissed trying to pull it shut. "I need to use the bathroom."
"Not before you tell me what's wrong."
"Nothing is wrong George. I just need to pee."
"You've been pouting all morning. Something is clearly wrong with you."
"I'm fine." I said trying to keep my voice from rising. I didn't feel like explaining myself to him. He cocked his head to the side studying my face. "What?" I questioned.
"I just want to know what is going on in that pretty little head of yours."
"What is going on between you and Hermione?" I blurted out before I could stop myself.
"Nothing is going on between us." He threw his head back and laughed.
"What about the conversation this morning? About you claiming to be her type and then getting a sweater for her. You could've gotten her any sweater, but of course you get her one with a G on it. As if you were claiming her."
"If you want me to claim you darling, all you have to do is ask." He smirked causing my face to heat up under his gaze. "I was trying to get a rile out of you this morning and about the sweater, she was just cold. You don’t have to worry about anything. I only have eyes for you." He leaned down and planted a kiss on my forehead. "Have a nice pee."
He turned away from me and walked back down the hallway. I had forgotten all about going to the bathroom.
Fred: Gryffindor, pureblood, 2 years below (same as Trio)
"I just heard that Hannah Abbott is going to Hogsmeade with Fred tonight." Hermione angrily ran her hands through her thick hair. She was practically ranting to Harry and I. "I don’t understand what he sees in her. I mean he's got a perfectly good girl who is practically in love with him, but he doesn’t care. Not one bit. I mean what does he even see in Hannah? She can’t even hold a candle to you (y/n)."
"Hold on Hermione. Let's take a minute and think about what you just said. I'm not in love with Fred." I jokingly rolled my eyes at her. Sure, I was a little hurt. I thought that Fred and I had something going on, but maybe he decided to move on because I hadn't expressed my feelings towards him.
"It's okay to admit your feelings (y/n). I see the way you look at him. Please don't make the same mistake as me and take too long to say how you feel." Hermione lovingly placed a hand on top of mine. I knew that she had been feeling a little down lately.
I had a feeling that Fred was teasing me. We had been playing this game of cat and mouse for years. But what could I say to him? If I said what I really wanted to say, I had a feeling that he would laugh in my face and leave with Hannah on their date.
I decided that I needed to tell him. I would regret it for the rest of my life if I didn’t. I was tired of being this jealous girl who was scared to admit her feelings. When he came down the stairs to leave for his date, I stopped him.
"Where are you going?" I stood in front of him blocking his path. I was done with this silly little game the two of us had been playing for the past couple of years.
"I'm just going out with a friend. Why? Is there something you need (y/n)?"
"No." I shook my head trying to figure out exactly what I wanted to say to him. I awkwardly rocked back and forth on my heels. I should have thought about this before I corralled him in our common room. "I was just wondering. I heard you were going on a date."
"I mean, I guess you could call it a date. Look (y/n), I can see that something is on your mind. Can we continue this conversation when I get back? I've got to meet her and I don't want to keep her waiting."
"Sure Fred. Have fun." I nodded stepping out of his way so that he could walk around me. I have him a small wave as he quickly walked out of the common room. Every fiber in my being was screaming for me to stop him. To tell him that I was right here waiting on him. I didn’t want him to go on that date with Hannah. It should be me that he was taking out on a date. I slowly walked back over to my seat on the couch.
"I'm sorry Hermione." I mumbled as tears were threatening to tumble down my cheeks. "I just froze. I didn’t know what to say to him.
"You don’t have to apologize to me. I froze so many times when I wanted to tell him how I felt. You could always wait until he comes back and talk to him."
"I just don’t know what I would even say. What if he hates me?"
"He could never hate you (y/n)." Hermione gave me a supportive smile before standing up and leaving me on the couch to think about what I wanted to say when he came back. I only sat there for about an hour or so until Fred got back.
I had been going over how I expected this conversation to go in my mind. Let's just say that my guesses of how this conversation was going to go weren't very good.
"Hey, (y/n)." I heard Fred say as he walked in. I had decided that I was just going to go for it. I had nothing to lose at this point. "I didn’t forget that you wanted to talk about something." He walked over to the couch and plopped down beside me. He casually tossed an arm on couch beside me. "So what's up?"
"Well how was your date?" I asked trying to ease into the conversation.
"It was okay." He shrugged. "It was nice to get out of Hogwarts for a little while, but it wasn’t anything spectacular."
"Who was the date with?"
"It was with Hannah Abbott. I think you know her."
"I do know Hannah." I sadly nodded. She seemed perfect for Fred to go on a date with. I'm sure they had an amazing time and he was just saying these things to keep my feelings from being hurt.
"Did you ask her? Or did she ask you? Or was this more of a mutual thing?"
"I mean she instigated it, but it was a pretty mutual thing. Is everything alright (y/n)?"
"Yes."
"No it isn't. I can tell by the look on your face that everything isn't okay." He gently took my face in his hands so that I could look him in the face. "You know you can talk to me about anything, right?"
"Yes I know." I shyly looked away. "Honestly Fred, I didn't want you to go on a date with Hannah."
"Why not?" Fred raised an eyebrow.
"I think you know why." I mumbled.
"Please enlighten me." He was grinning now. I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. Now he was just teasing me. He knew exactly why I didn’t want him on that date. This might be my only chance to say something. But at the same time, I didn't want to be a game to him. "Just say it (y/n)."
"Okay fine." I stood up so that I could run away if I needed to. "Please don’t go on another date with Hannah Abbott. Actually Fred, I don’t want you to go on a date with anyone else."
"Were you jealous (y/n)?" He smirked.
"You’re really going to make me spell it out for you." I grumbled rolling my eyes.
"No, I don't need you to do that. I'm going to honest with you, the date wasn't that good. So uh, (y/n), would you like to go on a date with me? I would hate to see you jealous again. Even though you were pretty cute."
Cedric: Hufflepuff, muggleborn, same year
For this one can we please pretend that Cedric didn't die during the Triwizard Tournament. Please and thank you.
I was furious. I had never been the jealous type, but lately Cedric had me feeling emotions that I had never felt before. My eyes narrowed at the very pretty Ravenclaw who was straight up flirting with Cedric. It’s not like I could be upset or anything. I wasn't even dating the guy.
So why did I feel envious when I saw them talking? I was bitter and spiteful. Cedric was someone who bounced between the line of friendly and flirtatious. I wanted to walk right over to him, grab his tie, and force my lips onto his.
At times it felt like he was interested in me. And at other times it felt like he just saw me as a friend. Why were boys so confusing? If you want me why wouldn’t you just say so? It’s not that hard.
After winning the Triwizard Tournament, Cedric became even more popular at Hogwarts. He had all these girls throwing themselves at him, but Cedric was not someone who liked to play with girl's emotions.
I knew that he was really busy with all the interviews he was having to do after winning. He was having to be extremely careful with any girls that he was seen talking to. Cedric told me that's why he had distanced himself from me these past couple of weeks.
We were very good friends and he didn't want the Daily Prophet or Rita Skeeter to turn our relationship into something it's not. Rita Skeeter had done enough digging into his personal life.
I appreciated Cedric for wanting to protect me, but would it be so bad if people did think we were together in that way? I mean maybe that would keep a certain raven-haired beauty from touching all over my man.
Well, he didn’t know that he was my man, but he was my man.
Cedric was obviously trying to keep Cho Chang at a distance from him. He was looking at her as if she was only a friend, but she wasn't taking the hint. Cedric was too much of a gentleman to do much about it though. He graciously accepted her compliments and politely smiled when she flirted with him. I wanted to scream.
I had seen enough of this and they were both going to hear about it from me.
"How desperate can you be Chang?" I grumbled walking by her. I didn’t stop walking. Instead, I kept walking by her as if I hadn't said anything. She scowled looking towards me. Cedric chuckled and gave me this amused looked.
"Is there something you want to say (l/n)?" She spat. I didn't expect her to respond and I whipped around glaring at her.
"Not really, I was just trying to give you some advice. You're a pretty girl, but even you can't make desperation look good."
"Oh please don't tell me that you've caught feelings." She threw her head back and laughed.
"No." My eyes narrowed at her. "I just know an attention seeking whore when I see one."
"(y/n)." Cedric scolded and lightly began dragging me way from her. "That wasn't very nice of you."
"Oh well." I shrugged grinning at the look on Cho Chang's face as we left.
"I've never seen you like this (y/n)." He stopped walking and stared down at me.
"Seen me how?" I raised an eyebrow. My expression told him to tread lightly.
"Jealous." He instantly replied.
"I was not jealous. I just wanted Chang to have more respect for herself. She was practically begging for you to take her upstairs to your bedroom."
"It was harmless flirting (y/n)." He chuckled.
"It was anything but harmless."
"I really like this jealous side of you. I hope to see it again." He jokingly pinched my side.
"I won't be so nice to her next time." I grumbled swatting his hand away.
"And I wouldn’t have it any other way."

Pansy Parkinson x Reader: Believe Me Now
Warnings: Just a little language. I think it's just 1 sentence
"You could just talk to her, you know?" Draco suggested to Pansy as he watched her grumpily shove a piece of toast with marmalade on it into her mouth. Pansy chewed slowly for a moment before she decided to respond to her friend.
"And why would I want to talk to her?" Pansy glared at Draco. He opened his mouth to answer her question, but just one look from her told him to keep his mouth shut. And that is exactly what he did.
She tried to keep a calm exterior, but she was absolutely fuming on the inside. She watched (y/n) get up from the Ravenclaw table and gracefully glide over to the Gryffindor table to sit down beside Ginny Weasley.
Pansy had always been curious about Ginny and (y/n)'s relationship. Some people would say that the two of them were extremely good friends, but others thought there might have been something else going on below the surface.
Watching the two of them together made Pansy extremely aggravated. But she wasn't sure why.
When all the frustrated and confused feelings first started happening, Pansy didn't understand where the emotions was coming from. Now she was even more confused than ever.
She watched as (y/n) brushed a piece of hair out of her eyes showing off her beautiful face. Pansy felt nauseous as she watched both (y/n) and Ginny giggling at something one of the Weasley twins said. She took a sip of her water hoping to calm her stomach. The last thing she wanted was for her breakfast to make a reappearance in the Great Hall full of people.
"Honestly Pansy, I think they're just friends." Draco said trying to put Pansy at ease. Even if she didn't know where all the anger came from, he did. He knew the feeling of jealousy very well.
"Friends don't treat each other like that." Pansy pointed out not able to look away from (y/n).
(y/n) and Ginny were easily the two most sought after girls at school. It was only fitting that the two of them ended up together. In Pansy's mind, it made complete sense that the two of them were always with each other.
Ginny had this bright and fiery personality that belonged in Gryffindor while (y/n) was the complete opposite as a cool, calm and collected Ravenclaw. The two of them offset each other in the most perfect way.
Pansy hadn't realized it, but she was staring at (y/n) making these wild hand gestures while telling a story to the youngest Weasley.
In this moment she couldn't help but notice how absolutely stunning (y/n) was. The way that the light was bouncing off her hair giving her this halo effect. In Pansy's eyes (y/n) looked what she thought angels to look like.
She always managed to tear her eyes away from the Ravenclaw when she realized that she had been staring for too long, but this time she couldn't manage to look away quick enough.
When (y/n) noticed that Pansy was looking at her, she flashed her a genuine smile. Pansy rarely got smiles like those.
She wasn't expecting it, so she did nothing but scowl back. (y/n) turned back around to face Ginny, her face burning with embarrassment.
Ginny instantly noticed that something was off with her and Pansy watched her ask what was wrong. (y/n) made a small gesture in Pansy's direction and then went back to her table. Ginny sent a glare Pansy's way before gathering things and heading out of the Great Hall.
(y/n) was in the year below Pansy, so unfortunately for her, she never got to see her in any of her classes. The only time she did was during meals in the Great Hall and sometimes in the library.
Pansy avoided the library because that's where (y/n) typically spent a lot of her time, but she was also in there with Granger.
Pansy thought it would be best to stay away from (y/n) until her feelings subdued. After a couple of days she was really starting to miss seeing (y/n) around the school.
She did not like the way that she was feeling. Nobody had ever made her feel like this. Pansy eventually gave up avoiding (y/n) and decided to head to the library to work on a Muggle Studies assignment.
Pansy knew that (y/n) was muggleborn which is probably why she was so disgusted by her feelings.
Looking at the prompt for the essay, Pansy had absolutely no idea what to write about. She probably should have paid more attention to the lecture instead of thinking about (y/n) the whole class.
She was sitting on the other side of the library curled up with a book. Pansy wanted to ask her for help on her essay since she could help her with the Muggle Studies essay.
The odd thing was, Draco knew that she was muggleborn, but he had never made a negative comment towards her about it.
"You know what would be absolutely hilarious." Draco whispered sliding into the seat across from Pansy in the library.
"What?" The dark hair Slytherin dropped her quill and looked over at Draco's cold pale eyes.
"If the two of us ended up with muggleborns."
"Me with (y/n) and you with who?" Pansy questioned tilting her head to the side as if she was thinking. Draco said nothing. He just sat there smirking waiting on her to figure it out on her own. "Holy shit. You and Granger?"
"Shhh." Draco's eyes flashed dangerously. "I don't need all of Hogwarts to know."
"I cannot believe that you fancy Granger." Pansy giggled. "Well, I can't blame you. She is hot."
"C'mon now." He groaned. "You can't have Granger and (l/n). You have to leave some for the rest of us Pansy."
"I don't even know if (y/n) really swings that way and I'm too afraid to ask."
"She does." The blonde stated very matter of factly.
"And how do you know?" Pansy raised an eyebrow.
"I asked Blaise who asked Theo who asked Hannah who asked Neville who asked Ginny who asked Luna. And she said yes."
"I'll do it if you talk to Granger."
"No way." Draco darkly chuckled. "She hates me. No way I can come back from how I used to treat her."
"You never know." Pansy shrugged.
"Maybe one day." He let out a small sigh and gathered up his things, "I don't want to see you in the common room until you've asked her out."
Pansy sat there staring at the parchment going over all the possible scenarios of what would happen if she just talked to (y/n).
"Are you working on the Muggle Studies essay?" There came a timid voice from beside her. Pansy looked to see (y/n) gesturing to the paper. "I don't mean to intrude but I just got done helping Seamus and Ron with theirs. I can help you if you would like?"
All Pansy could do was give her a short nod so (y/n) took that as an invitation to sit down and start helping Pansy. It took all she could muster not to stare at this girl who was sitting so close to her.
All she wanted was to grab (y/n) and drag her off to the nearest broom closet. Her loose necktie and the couple of top buttons that weren't buttoned wasn't helping at all. It took all her willpower not to lean over and kiss (y/n) until the both of their lips were swollen and bruised. And right before she could do that, Pansy frantically stood up and tried to gather all her belongings.
"I have to go."
"Wait Pansy-" (y/n) reached out and grabbed her hand. "Did I say something wrong, I'm sorry."
"No (y/n). You didn't. It's all me." Pansy snatched her hand away and ran out into the hallway with (y/n) following close behind her.
"Well what's wrong? Maybe I can help?"
"You can't help me (y/n). You're making things worse. You make me feel things that I shouldn't feel." She groaned. (y/n) just looked at Pansy with this sort of amused look on her face as if this is exactly what she wanted to hear. "I know I should be happy for you and Ginny, but I just can't." Pansy stated just trying to test the waters about what Draco said earlier.
"Hold on." (y/n) held up a hand to silence Pansy. "There is absolutely nothing going on with Ginny and I. We're just really good friends."
"And you expect me to believe that? I'm not stupid (y/n). I've seen the way you two act around each other-" And with that, (y/n) closed the distance between Pansy and her.
When her lips touched Pansy's, she was absolutely shocked. But she quickly responded pulling (y/n) in closer to her. All her emotions pouring out. She had been wanting to do this for the longest. Pulling away there was a small smile playing on (y/n)'s lips as she waited for Pansy to recover.
"Do you believe me now Parkinson?"

Hiii! Please excuse my rambling, I hope this is okay! If not, no worries!!🥰 😅😅
Can I please request a Fred Weasley x fem!muggle!reader where she and Ginny met after the Wizarding War when Ginny was wandering around Muggle London and they quickly become best friends. Fast forward a year or two and Ginny tells her about magic and also asks if she wants to spend Christmas with her family and maybe even live with them (Y/n doesn’t have any family). (Molly being like a Mom to her Omg 🤧… )When she meets friends he is immediately interested in her and flirts his heart out, doing all he can to get her flustered. They end up spending a lot of time together the whole year that Ginny goes back to Hogwarts to finish the school she missed due to the war. Y/n and Fred end up in serious relationship and are in love, and Ginny finds out after they attempt to hide it and is like, “FRED THAT IS MY BEST FRIEND?!” Lol all of Ginny’s best friends would be with one of her brothers😂 Hermione and Ron, George and Angelina, and now Y/n and Fred 🤣
Hey! Thank you so much for your request, I really enjoyed writing this. I hope you like it.

Fred Weasley x Reader: Still My Best Friend
Warnings: There may be some language. This one is a little longer than what I normally write, but please enjoy
Life after the Wizarding War was hard. Everyone lost friends. Everyone lost family. Some people even lost themselves. Even Ginny Weasley was having a hard time.
She didn’t let it show, but she was struggling. Life just wasn’t the same that it had been before the war. She knew it was silly to think that it would be the same, but she just wanted everything to go back to normal.
Ginny was known for her feisty and witty personality, but recently it seemed as if her flame had fizzled out. In the past she wasn’t afraid to call someone out if they were in the wrong, but now she was more likely to just let comments slide without saying anything.
There was no pattern to the nightmares she had been having. Sometimes she would go a couple of months without having one and sometimes she would have one every single night for 2 weeks straight. She didn’t usually remember the nightmares, but she knew that she was reliving the events that had taken place almost two years ago.
One evening Ginny was having a really rough night. She had a nightmare and when she tried to fall back asleep, she tossed and turned for well over three hours.
Her mind was playing not only the events of the war, but events from the past couple of years going all the way back to the Triwizard Tournament. The image of Cedric Diggory would forever haunt her memories.
Ginny wasn’t the only one who had trouble sleeping. A lot of wizards were in the same boat, but Ginny didn’t want to find help. She had always been hyper independent and she felt like getting through this was something she could do on her own.
Whenever Ginny closed her eyes, she could see all the fighting that went on during the war. She hoped that she would never see anything like it again as long as she lived. And when she was able to fall asleep, she could hear the screams of her classmates in her dreams.
Ginny shot up in her bed throwing the covers off of her. She didn’t know where she was going, but she knew she needed to get out of this bed. Out of her bedroom and out of this house, She would figure out where she was going at a later time. She just needed to get out.
Once all the dust had settled after the war and everyone tried returning to their normal day to day lives, Ginny's mum decided that it would be best for her to return to Hogwarts and complete her schooling.
At first she didn’t want to, but her mother convinced her that it would be the best thing to do. It would be good for everyone to go back to school and complete what they had started.
She didn’t go back immediately though. Hogwarts had to be rebuilt and Molly thought it would be good for her to take a year off just to collect her thoughts.
Ginny was able to convince her mum to let her move in with Fred and George before she started back school. The twins had an apartment in downtown London that Ginny absolutely adored.
When she wasn’t working in the twin’s joke shop, she would spend her time walking around the streets just exploring.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione returned back to school, but Ginny still needed some time. She wasn’t ready just yet and everyone understood that. Going to school could be difficult if you aren’t in the right headspace mentally.
It was a week before Christmas and Ginny found herself wandering around downtown once again. It was nothing new. The twins hated when she did this because they would wake up and have no idea where she went until she returned.
Time and time again she had to tell to them that she was a big girl and didn’t need them looking after every single move that she made. They then had to explain to her that their mother would kill them if anything happened to her.
She wrapped her scarf tighter around her neck to keep the snow from falling through her jacket. Now she wanted something to warm her up. A nice Irish coffee would be great.
Ginny watched as a girl that looked a little older than her slip into a small pub that Ginny had never seen before. It looked warm and inviting so she followed her right inside.
The door was small and tucked off the main road so if you didn’t happen to look right at the door, it could be hard to miss.
Ginny felt herself grinning from ear to ear as she did a spin of the pub. It was adorable with all the Christmas decorations. She looked around for the girl that she followed inside, but she couldn’t see her, which was strange.
The pub wasn’t big enough for her to lose sight of her. Maybe she went into the bathroom?
Ginny ordered herself a drink and found a small table that she could sit down at without being bothered.
“Do you mind if I sit with you? I understand if you’re waiting on someone, but all the other tables are filled.” There was a timid voice that was just able to speak loud enough over the sounds of the pub. Ginny looked up to see the girl that she had followed earlier nervously rocking back and forth on her heels. “I could really use some company if you don’t mind.”
“I don’t mind at all.” Ginny grinned. She really didn’t want to be alone tonight. The girl smiled and sat down across from Ginny. “I’m Ginny.”
“Nice to meet you Ginny. My name is (y/n).”
The two of them started talking and Ginny found out that her new friend was in school as well. She was a Muggle girl who was a little older than her and attended a university in London.
Little did Ginny know, that ended up being one of the best relationships of her life. Her and (y/n) instantly clicked.
Sure, her and Hermione were super close, but something just felt different about her relationship with (y/n).
She felt like (y/n) was someone that she could talk to about absolutely everything. Well almost everything. Eventually, Ginny did want to tell (y/n) about her life as a wizard, but she couldn’t lose her as a friend. But Ginny knew that she could tell (y/n) absolutely anything about her and she would still treat her exactly the same.
Ginny learned that (y/n) didn’t really have a family. She spent a lot of her time diving into her studies and the holidays were always hard for her.
This made Ginny realize how grateful she was to have such a large family who always managed to get together during the holidays to be with one another. She didn’t know what she would do without them.
The next year around Christmas time, Ginny knew that she wanted to invite (y/n) over to spend some time with her family. She couldn’t stand the thought of her closest friend alone during this time.
She told her family about (y/n) and they were all more than happy to meet her. They didn’t mind one bit that she was Muggle. The only issue was that Ginny hadn’t explained to (y/n) the type of family she would be spending the next couple of weeks with. She was afraid that the conversation wouldn’t go the way that she wanted it to.
But Ginny knew that it needed to happen before she showed up on her doorstep surrounded by a whole bunch of wizards with red hair.
So she invited (y/n) out for brunch and ice skating. The whole time they were eating, Ginny couldn’t bring herself to tell her friend about her family. She wasn’t so sure what she was worried about. She knew that (y/n) was someone she could talk to about anything.
Whenever she was around her, she could just talk freely without feeling like she was going to be judged.
“Hey (y/n).” Ginny said before she could stop herself. Brunch had come and gone so if Ginny didn’t speak to her while they were skating then the conversation wasn’t going to happen. “I was wondering if I could talk to you about something.”
“Of course you can.” (y/n) gave her friend a supportive smile letting her know that she could talk about anything that was on her mind. “Let’s go and sit down over here where it’s more quiet.”
(y/n) took Ginny’s hand and gently pulled her over on the ice over to a spot where there were less distractions.
“You can totally tell me no, but I was wondering if you would like to spend Christmas with my family? I know that the holidays can be a rough time for you, but we would all love to have you there.”
“I would love that Ginny.” (y/n) grinned. It had been so long since she spent Christmas with anyone. “But I’m wondering why you needed to pull me over to the side to ask me that.”
“Well,” Ginny nervously fiddled with her fingers. She had no idea how she even wanted to start this conversation. “I come from a wizarding family.” And with that she started telling her story from the very beginning. She started with growing up the youngest out of 7 kids, going to Hogwarts and getting sorted into Gryffindor. She told her about Quidditch and how this boy named Harry Potter saved the wizarding world a few years ago. She ended with telling (y/n) about the war and her nightmares. The night that they met was because she had a nightmare and decided to go on a stroll.
The whole time Ginny talked, (y/n) didn’t interrupt her. She let her speak without saying a single word. She would just nod her head to let Ginny know that she was listening. And when she was done, (y/n) simply leaned over and pulled the redhead into a hug.
“Thank you for telling me all that.”
“Do you believe me?” Ginny looked up at her trying to judge her expression.
“Of course I believe you Ginny. Why wouldn’t I? I’m just happy that you trust me enough to tell me all of this.” (y/n) gave her friend a smile and right then and there the two of them knew that they would be able to tell the other without any sort of judgment.
The days leading up to Christmas, (y/n) felt extremely giddy. It had been such a long time since she was able to spend Christmas surrounded by family. Even though it was not her family, she considered Ginny like a sister so that meant Ginny’s family was her own family in her eyes.
On the other hand, Ginny was a little nervous about having (y/n) over. She knew that her family could be a bit overwhelming. But they didn’t seem to mind one bit that (y/n) was a Muggle. They were all happy that Ginny was making friends.
Walking up the Weasley’s house, (y/n) felt anxious. She hadn’t felt this way in a long time.
“I promise that everyone is super excited to meet you.” Ginny gave her friend’s hand a squeeze of reassurance. “Everyone is pretty tame besides the twins, but you’ll get used to them.”
(y/n) just nodded as they reached the front door. The first person to greet them was Molly. She knew that (y/n) didn’t really have a mother so she took it upon herself to be a mother figure to her. Then came Harry, Ron, and Hermione who (y/n) could instantly tell that she would get along with them very well.
“Ginny, you didn’t tell me that our guest was absolutely stunning.” Fred grinned at (y/n) as he came through the front door. He must have just gotten off work.
“Hi.” (y/n) shyly whispered to him. “I’m (y/n).”
“Well it is lovely to meet you (y/n).” He took her hand and placed a kiss on her knuckles. Ginny just rolled her eyes and made a mental note to tell (y/n) about Fred. He was a huge flirt.
The whole time that (y/n) was there it seemed like the only thing he wanted to do was make her flustered. Whether that was flirty little comments or placing his hands on her hips whenever he tried to move around her.
Fred knew exactly what he was doing. At first he did it just to make her comfortable. He could only imagine what it was like to come into a wizarding home like his with no prior experience. The two of them talked a lot which caused Fred to develop a little crush on the Muggle.
The following year, Ginny returned to Hogwarts to finish up her last year. She was really going to miss (y/n) and her brothers, but her family promised to take lots of care of (y/n).
(y/n) often found herself at the twins apartment and eventually her and Fred began dating. They hadn’t told Ginny because they weren’t sure how she would take it. (y/n) wrote letters to Ginny almost every week, but she knew to avoid the topic of her dating life.
Ginny knew something was up. She noticed it when she came home for Christmas break and the vagueness in (y/n)’s letters toward the end of the term. She had a feeling what was going on, but she didn’t want it to be true. He had no right. He couldn’t leave just one of his friends alone.
“I need to talk to you Fred and don’t you lie to me.” Ginny stormed across the apartment to her brother’s bedroom. She didn’t even knock before she entered the bedroom which she never did. She spun around the bedroom looking for any sign of her.
“What’s up little sis?” He was sitting at the desk in the corner of his bedroom writing a letter.
“What are you doing?” She slowly walked over to him as he attempted to hide the letter that he was writing.
“Nothing Ginny. What do you need to talk to me about?”
“What is going on between you and (y/n)?” She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow. It was a look she copied from their mother and she had pretty much mastered it. Fred chewed on his bottom lip and looked away from Ginny.
“Damn Ginny.” He grumbled. “Every day you remind me more and more of mum.”
“Don’t change the subject. What are you doing with (y/n)?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about Ginny. I’m not doing anything with her.”
“Stop lying to me.” Ginny hissed.
“I’m not lying to you.”
“Fine. I’ll prove it.” She stomped back to her bedroom and grabbed a vial that she had hidden in the top of her closet. Then she found the phone that (y/n) had given her to use.
She could barely work the thing, but she managed to send her a text and ask her to come by the apartment whenever she got a chance. (y/n) instantly replied and said that she wasn't busy so she would be there in a couple of minutes.
Once she got the confirmation from (y/n), Ginny forced him downstairs to wait for her to arrive. Fred saw the vial that she was holding and he knew where this was going. There was no way out of it.
(y/n) walked into the apartment and confusedly looked between Fred and Ginny. Fred looked as if he was trying to warn her, but she couldn’t tell what was going on.
“I want to tell me what you smell (y/n).” Ginny held the vial under her friend’s nose.
(y/n) blinked a couple of times staring at the liquid that Ginny was cupping in her hands.
“Why are you carrying around Fred’s cologne?”
“My dear (y/n).” Fred ruffled her hair. “I’m afraid that is not my cologne.”
“What do you mean it’s not cologne?” (y/n) looked at Ginny. “You guys are confusing me.”
“Fred, that is my best friend. I can't believe you two wanted to hide this from me.”
“We weren’t trying to hide anything from you Ginny. We just wanted to tell you in person, not through a letter. Plus we also wanted to make sure this was something serious.”
“Honestly, all I want is for my brothers to leave my friends alone. I mean Ron is with Hermione, George is with Angelina, and now (y/n) is with Fred. I’m honestly starting to think you guys are just trying to pick up on my friends.” Ginny grumbled.
In the past, two of her closest friends, Hermione Granger and Angelina Johnson, ended up dating her brothers. It seemed as if both friends started spending less and less time with her so that they could be with Ron and George. She didn't want that with (y/n). She wouldn't be able to deal with losing another friend.
“I hope you’re not mad at me. I didn’t mean any harm by it.” (y/n) rushed over to Ginny.
“I’m not mad (y/n).” Ginny gave her best friend a warm smile. “I just don’t understand why you wouldn’t tell me.”
“I just didn’t know how you would take it.” (y/n) admitted. “I mean your best friend is dating your older brother. That’s the kind of thing that happens in movies. How did you know?”
“I didn’t know for sure. That’s why I had you smell this.” Ginny showed her the bottle of amortentia. “It’s a love potion. The most powerful in the world. It smells different to each person according to what attracts them.”
“Oh.” (y/n) nodded now that she understood. “Does that mean yours smells like Ha-” she started to say until Ginny dove across the coffee table to cover her friend’s mouth with her hand.
“We don’t need to talk about that.” Ginny’s face was bright red. Her amortentia has smelled like Harry ever since she was 16 and nobody knew that she was in love with Harry besides (y/n).
“Well now that the cat is out of the bag, do we have your blessing?” (y/n) giggled as Fred threw an arm around her waist and planted a kiss on her cheek. He was just glad that now he didn’t have to keep his hands off his girlfriend whenever he was about their family. They hadn’t wanted to tell any of them because they knew that the Weasleys would say something to Ginny if they found out.
“Does he treat you right?” Ginny looked over at (y/n).
“Yes.” (y/n) immediately nodded and leaned into Fred. “Neither of us were looking for a relationship when we met. I had no interest in falling in love, but one day he smiled at me, and it just happened.”
“We just clicked.” Fred added on. “I remember dropping you off at the train station and we had nothing else to do, so we just went out to get a couple of drinks. At first, I didn’t even realize what was happening, but as we were walking back to the apartment, stumbling over our words and laughing too hard, I just felt a sense of peace. That’s when I knew.”
“Good. That’s what I like to hear.” She nodded approvingly. “Fred, if you do anything to hurt my best friend, I will kill you. That is not a threat. It is a promise.”
“I wouldn’t dream of it.” Fred quickly responded, staring adoringly into the eyes of the girl he knew that one day he wanted to marry. He wouldn’t do anything to mess that up.
"I hope you know this doesn't change anything between us Ginny." (y/n) walked over to her best friend and pulled her into a hug. "You're still my best friend and nobody can take your place. I love you."
"I love you more." Ginny responded hugging her back.
Before he met (y/n), Fred wasn’t too sure if marriage was for him, but he could see himself getting down on one knee for her.
When he got a moment alone with Ginny, he was going to have to thank her for bringing (y/n) into his life.
He lost himself during the war. A lot of them did, but (y/n) had been so patient trying to help him heal. One day she just walked into his life and Fred didn’t know how he went his whole life without her.

How You Spend the Christmas Holidays Part 2
I just thought this was something cute to do for the holidays! I hope you are able to spend some time with family and friends. Please enjoy
George: Slytherin, halfblood, same year
"I know my mom can be a lot, and I'm sorry for all of this but-" George started saying, but I didn't care. It was perfect. He was perfect. Everything about this moment was perfect. I lunged across the bed wrapped my arms around his neck. George was staying at school for the holidays, and I decided that I would keep him company since my family wasn't doing anything too special.
"Tell your mom I love it." I grinned pulling away from the hug to see his face bright red. She had knitted me one of her famous sweaters and tossed in some homemade fudge. I couldn't have asked for a better gift.
I pulled the (f/c) sweater on over my head. I had left the Slytherin common room very early in the morning to sneak into George's room to surprise him this morning. I had brought him a couple of gifts that he had already opened, but I was saving one special gift. I was holding a very small box that I'm sure he was bound to notice sometime soon.
"Whatcha got there?" George chucked looking around my back trying to see what it was.
"I got these a couple of months ago, but I decided to wait to give it to you for Christmas." I passed the small box over to him and patiently waited for him to open it. When he finally did, I couldn't help but giggle at the surprised look on his face.
"Are you serious (y/n)?" In his hand were 4 tickets to a Quidditch match this summer. He had been talking about this team nonstop since they won the championship last year so I figured I would get him some tickets for an upcoming game. "Who are the other 2 tickets for?"
"Whoever you want." I shrugged, "I figured you'd want to invite Fred and he can pick someone to bring along. Just don't lose them."
"Wouldn't dream of it." He was still staring at the 4 paper tickets in his hand as if they were pure gold. Then he looked up at me with a look that I had never seen from him. "(y/n), I could kiss you right now."
And with that he started to lean in. I felt myself start to get nervous. I had never kissed a boy before. What if I wasn't any good at it? What if George didn't like me anymore after this? But before our lips could connect, the door busted open and there was Fred.
Don't get me wrong, I love Fred, but he couldn't have picked a better time to walk in? He could've given us at least another minute.
"Wow. Where'd you get those?" He questioned picking up the tickets lying on the bed.
"(y/n) got them for me. But did you need something Fred? We were kinda in the middle of something."
"Oh yeah." He nodded dropping onto the bed clearly oblivious to what he had walked into. "Hermione showed me a spell to enchant the snowmen so we could have snowball fights with them. So be ready in ten minutes so we can head outside." And with that to wait down in the common room.
"I'll meet you two at the entrance. I need to head back to get dressed." I got up off George's bed and walked towards the door. But before I could get too far he grabbed my hand and spun me around. He leaned forward until his lips were on mine. I wasn't expecting it at all.
At first, it was hard for me to keep up with the way he was kissing me, but after a moment I caught on. Then I started kissing him back as hard as he was kissing me. George pulled away and I sighed in annoyance which caused him to chuckle.
"Fred is going to wait a little bit longer." He smirked locking the door.
Fred: Gryffindor, pure, 2 years below (same as Trio)
I stumbled out of the fire place in the Weasley residence. I loved this place just like it was my own. I was here more than I was at my own house. I grew up in a Slytherin household, but my parents didn't mind the Weasleys too much. They had actually come to become friends over the past couple of years.
"(y/n)." I heard someone yell.
"Hermione. I'm in the living room." I called back as she ran into my arms. She was one of best friends and even though we hadn't seen each other in a couple of days, it felt like it had been months.
"Why are you all covered in soot?" She questioned stepping back and trying to dust it all off.
"Floo Powder." I told her.
"(y/n) is here." There came more voices from another room of the house. Then came Ginny who was suddenly hugging me. I hadn't realized how much I had missed them. I would've come to their house right when school got out but I had to return home because the Zabinis were having a holiday party that I was not allowed to miss.
My parents could be a little old fashioned at times and I knew they were expecting me to marry someone who was pureblood which is why I couldn't skip the party. They were hoping I would meet my husband there.
"Hiya (nickname)." There came a very familiar voice. I pulled away from everyone to see Fred standing there in the doorway.
"Hi." I suddenly whispered looking down at my shoes. Why did he make me feel like this? One of the very few people who made me nervous.
"C'mon Ginny." Hermione said grabbing the youngest Weasley's hand and dragged her out of the room to give us some privacy.
"I missed you." I mumbled. In about three strides Fred was standing in front of me. I looked up at him and then back down unable to meet his gaze.
"I missed you too." He chucked wrapping my arms around Fred pulling him into me. Fred wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me into him. We didn't say much of anything. We just stood there embraced in each other's company.
Then I had the strangest idea: maybe I could marry Fred. I know he's not what my parents were thinking, but he was a pureblood. Plus I knew that in the end he could make me very happy. Which is all I wanted from someone.
"Now let's go see mum. She's been dying to see you ever since I told her you were coming." Fred pulled away and I followed him into the kitchen.
"Who else is here?" I asked him.
"Well there's you, Hermione, Harry, Sirius, oh Tonks and Lupin should be here sometime tonight. Mum has been preparing dinner all day to get ready for everyone."
"(y/n) dear." Mrs. Weasley grinned when she saw me. "It's so good to see you dear. How are your parents? I do hope they're doing well." She smiled pulling me into one of her hugs.
"They're doing fine Mrs. Weasley. They told me to tell you they said hello."
"Please call me Molly. Now can you two please get out of the kitchen. I've still got so much to do. I think everyone else is in Ginny's room. Oh and (y/n) you can sleep in the guest room or in the room Ginny's room with Hermione. Whichever one you please." And with that she shooed us out of the kitchen to get ready.
I went upstairs to say hello to everyone. I had really missed all of them. We all decided to play some games of exploding snap until it was time for dinner. I was absolutely terrible at this game.
I ended up sitting between Fred and Harry. While we were eating, Fred rested his hand on my thigh. I thought it was a mistake until his hand slowly started traveling higher and higher until I had to smack it away. I could see Harry smirking at us out of the corner of his eye.
After everyone was full, Molly sent us all upstairs to go to bed. Before I had went to bed, I wanted to speak to Fred about what had happened at the dinner table.
"Fred." I hissed pulling him somewhere so we could talk privately. "What was that at dinner?"
"What are you talking about?" His eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about."
"I'm afraid I don't (y/n)."
"Look Fred, I need you to listen good because I'm not going to repeat myself. I like you and I completely understand if you don't feel the same way. But I'm not going to allow you to do all these touchy feely things just because you can. I respect myself enough to-" but I was completely cut off by his lips on mine. It was a soft kiss, but I wanted more. I needed more. Fred's arm snaked around my wrist pulling me closer into him. When I tried to deepen the kiss, he pulled back chuckling.
"Good night (nickname)." He smirked heading towards his room.
That night, I lay in bed not able to take my mind off Fred. I cannot believe that kiss happened. I was starting to think that it didn't even happen. As I began to doze off there was a loud bang out in the hallway. I instantly sat up in bed trying to hear what was going on.
Then came Mrs. Weasley's voice roaring from outside my door.
"Fred Weasley! I just know that's not you trying to sneak into (y/n)'s room in the middle of the night."
Cedric: Hufflepuff, muggleborn, same year
"Can we please go outside?" I pleaded pulling on Cedric's hand. He was laying out on the couch reading a book on Quidditch.
"No (y/n). You are not allowed to go outside."
"But why?" I pouted dramatically falling onto the couch. "We don't even have classes anymore."
"You already know the answer to that (y/n). You get sick just looking at the snow. And when you get sick, I end up having to take care of you which causes me to fall ill as well. Plus your mother would kill me if we showed up on her doorstep sick."
I stood at the window in the common room staring out the window in awe. Where I came from, it did not snow like this. We occasionally had little flurries, but it never got cold enough for the snow to stick to the ground like this.
It was exactly what it looked like in the movies. I needed to get outside immediately to play. Breakfast didn't start for another hour so I figured that I had time to get down there for a little while before it was time to eat. I noticed that Cedric put his book and walk over to the window beside me and stare outside. At first I didn't say anything to him.
I assumed that he was watching everyone else playing in the snow and maybe he was going to change his mind. But then he adjusted his gaze. Now he was watching me.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" I smiled at him gesturing out to the snow.
"Yeah," he nodded still staring at me. "You are."
"What?" I asked in shock turning my attention to him. I cannot believe he had said that. Ever since we had started hanging out, I had started to grow rather fond of him. But I always thought that he saw me as a younger sister since I he was always having to look after me due to my mother's orders.
"I was just agreeing with you. The snow is beautiful." He quickly tried to avert his gaze from me now watching everyone who was playing outside. He had this look on his face and I knew that I would be getting exactly what I want.
"Fine. We can go outside but only for a little while."
"Thank you Ced." I gave him a quick hug. "Let me go change into something warmer and I'll be right back." I quickly ran upstairs and put on something a lot warmer to keep me from freezing.
We had been outside for about 30 minutes or so and I had started to get cold, but I wasn't going to tell Cedric that. In all of my excitement, I hadn't gotten my warmest coat and I was really starting to regret that. I fell onto my back and started moving my arms back and forth to make snow angels.
"Get up (y/n)." Cedric sternly said leaning over me. "You're going to get sick."
I opened my eyes to see him standing over me. I could tell he was cold by the fact that his nose was starting to turn red.
"No." I stuck my tongue out and went back to making snow angels. I heard him let out an agitated sigh and then walk away. Then he came back and stared at me. I wasn't sure what to make of the situation so I just tried to look away from him. I was starting to feel uncomfortable so I got up.
"Now your robes are drenched." He took in my appearance but I wouldn't allow him to see that I was cold. I didn't want to give him the satisfaction. "And your hair is a mess." He reached up and gently smoothed out my hair trying to get the snow out of it.
"I don't mind." I don't know why but I was suddenly worried about Cedric looking at me. I didn't usually care what he thought about me, but now I really did.
"I know you don't (y/n)," he chuckled shimmying out of his jacket. "Here put mine on."
"I don't want to take your jacket."
"Please take it." He begged trying to force me into it. I took my jacket off and put the larger one on. "Now you look even cuter than before. We need to get you inside before you get sick." He turned around and headed towards the entrance. Did Cedric Diggory just say that I was cute?
"Cedric?" I called out running after him.
"Yes?"
"Do you really think I'm cute?"
"Of course."
"Not like I'm your little sister cute. But like you're attracted to me cute?"
"I'm very much attracted to you (y/n). I figured you would have caught on by now, but you're not good at picking up on signals."
"I'm sorry."
"You don't have to apologize." Cedric held the door open for me and I thanked him walking inside the warm building. I opened my mouth to say something else but then I sneezed.
"Damnit (y/n)." He groaned realizing what this meant. "Your mom is going to kill me."

How You Spend the Christmas Holidays
I just thought this was something cute to do for the holidays! I hope you are able to spend some time with family and friends. Please enjoy!
Harry: Gryffindor, halfblood, same year
"I'm going to miss you so much Ronnie." I threw my arms around Ron's neck hugging him tightly. Then I turned to Hermione pulling her tightly into me.
Today I was having to say my goodbyes to Harry, Ron, and Hermione before I headed off to the Hogwarts express to go home. I was a little jealous that the 3 of them would be spending Christmas at the Weasleys together.
My parents booked us a flight to the Bahamas for the break. They couldn't stand the snow so we spent every Christmas somewhere tropical. They promised that next year, I would be able to bring Harry, Ron, and Hermione along with us.
"Ron and I are going to head out to the library really quick." Hermione grabbed him by the arm and dragged him towards the portrait hole.
"But why do we have to leave them alone?" Ron questioned.
"Because Ronald-" was the last thing I heard before the entrance snapped shut.
"I can't believe that we're not spending Christmas together." Harry sadly sighed. I took his hand and lightly pulled him to the couch. I sat down and Harry snuggled up to me. Harry and I had always been pretty touchy with one another. We weren't dating or anything, but I always found myself reaching for his touch.
"I know Harry. I'm not happy about it either, but at least you'll be with Ron and Hermione."
"But I want to be with you (y/n)."
"It's only for a couple of weeks. It'll be fine."
"Are you sure you can't skip out on the trip?"
"You know the rules Harry," I mumbled. "I'm not allowed to skip out on family trips. It'll be over before you know it."
"Can I at least give you your present now?" Harry got up and headed towards the bedroom not even waiting on me to reply.
"Sure. I'll go get yours." I smiled and then headed to where I slept and then came back with a box. Inside was a broom maintenance kit and a couple of books that some famous Quidditch players had signed. Harry was beside himself when he opened the gift. He kept thanking me over and over again.
"Now for you gift." He grinned when he had finally gotten over the shock. I opened the box and inside was a moving photo of me, him, Ron, and Hermione playing outside in the snow a couple of weeks ago. We were all grinning and waving at the camera.
"Oh Harry." I threw my arms around him pulling him into a hug. "Thank you so much. Who took this?"
"You're welcome." He stammered his face bring red from the hug. That was strange. We were always touching and not once had I ever seen him blush like this before. "Colin took it that day that we all went outside the first time it snowed. I have something else for you."
The way he passed this gift over I could tell there was something delicate inside. I was so worried about breaking it that I had to make sure I slowly opened it.
Inside was a very dainty charm brace with three charms on it. There was a lightning bolt, a crown, and a lightbulb. I looked up slightly confused waiting on him to explain what each charm represented.
"The lightning bolt represents me," he pointed to his forehead. "The crown is because Weasley is our King and the lightbulb is because people refer to Hermione as the brightest witch of our age. It's so that you can always have us with you."
I sat there staring at it in awe. No one had ever given me anything like this. Nothing this thoughtful.
"Do you like it?" He nervously asked. I looked up at him and then back down at the bracelet. I carefully sat it down not to break it and leaned into Harry.
I reached over and cupped his cheek and before I could stop myself, I leaned into him pressing my lips onto his. I wasn't sure how he was going to respond but I was pleasantly surprised when he wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me into him.
Harry started kissing me harder and I instantly matched his roughness. Harry's hand reached into my skirt and grabbed my ass. I let out a little moan opening my mouth so our tongues could meet.
We were going at it for a minute and it could've lead to something much more until we heard someone come into the common room which caused us to pull apart.
"I guess that meant you liked it." Harry chucked his face bright red.
Ron: Ravenclaw, muggleborn, year above
"Sorry, it's not much." I shrugged as we walked up to my house. Her eyes widened as she took in my house. Recently, I had learned that (y/n) came from money so I was a little embarrassed to be showing her my home for the first time.
I was a little scared that she would start having second guesses about coming here. Even worse, everyone was going to be home for the break. I knew that my family could be a lot to handle.
"Please don't say sorry. It's perfect." As we walked towards the door, I noticed that the smile never left her face. "Is your house held up by magic?"
"Yes." I admitted wondering if that was going to be an issue for her. "Are Muggle houses not?"
"Not at all." She giggled. Before I even got a chance to open the front door, my mom had pulled it open and was beaming at (y/n).
"You must be (y/n)." She cried out pulling her into an unexpected hug. "I am so excited to meet you. Ron has been talking about you nonstop since he said you were coming over for the break. Please come inside and make yourself at home." I felt my face instantly heat up. Pretty much everyone knew that I liked (y/n) so I figured that by the time she left the Burrow, she would know as well. "I'm just about to start cooking dinner. Is there anything that you don't eat?"
"Well I'm good with just about everything besides (dish you don't like)." (y/n) shuttered slightly while her eyes were wandering around the kitchen. There was so much going on that she couldn't keep up. All the dishes and food flying around was normal to me, but I wonder what it was like to be in a Muggle household when tons of cooking was going on. I'd have to ask (y/n) about that. "Do you need help with anything?"
"Oh no dear." My mom shook her head beaming at (y/n). I could tell that she was really going to like her. "I've got everything under control. Ronald take her stuff upstairs. She can sleep in Ginny's room. Make sure she feels at home."
The next couple of days were absolutely amazing. We all played outside in the snow together building snowmen. There was constant teasing from the twins. Then there was Ginny and Harry telling me to just make a move on (y/n).
They said that she obviously liked me as well but I didn't believe them and I refused to make a fool of myself with an audience. She even told me about Muggle Christmas things like Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph, and about some elf that lives on a shelf.
The break was starting to come to an end, and I still hadn't made a move on (y/n) yet. I thought it was weird because one second we would be cuddling on the couch drinking hot chocolate but the next minute we were acting just like friends.
Hermione told me it was her way of trying to tell me that she liked me, but I wasn't having it. When Ginny told me that that she had confined in her about liking me during one of their late night talks, I decided I had to do something. So, the night before we had to return to Hogwarts, I found (y/n) playing wizard chess with the twins.
"(y/n)?" I quietly questioned. I was super nervous but this needed to be done. "Could I talk to you for a second?"
"Of course." She grinned standing up. "George can you play for me?" Then she walked towards me. I took her hand and gently took her hand and dragged out into the hallway. "What's up?" She questioned.
"Well you know what it means when two people stand below mistletoe?" I asked rocking back and forth on my heels.
"Yeah." She nodded slowly. "It means they're supposed to kiss." Then before I could lose all confidence, I leaned forwards and pressed my lips onto hers. At first I didn't think she was going to kiss me back, but then she did softly at first and then rougher. I was melting into the kiss. She pulled back looking slightly dazed. Her eyes flicked upwards.
"Ronald!" She scolded. "There wasn't any mistletoe."
"I know," I shrugged looking down at my feet. "I just needed an excuse to kiss you."
Draco: Slytherin, pureblood, year below
Out of the corner of my eye, I watched as (y/n) shivered and pulled her large coat even tighter around her. She was one of those people who was always cold no matter what.
"Would you like to wear my extra jacket?" I offered shrugging out of it and trying to pass it to her.
"No." She shook her head, teeth chattering. "I'm fine. Keep your jacket Draco."
"No you're not (y/n)." She reluctantly took the jacket from me and shrugged into it. It was too big on her, but she looked adorable in it. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Blaise smirking at us.
Blaise knew that I had a little crush on her, but she had absolutely no idea. Well I don't think she had any idea.
"I think we should stop and get some butter beer." He suggested. "Before we head back to the school."
We had decided to come to Hosgsmead to do some Christmas shopping. There were only a couple of days left until classes ended for the term.
We entered the small pub trying to squeeze through everyone until we found an empty table. On our way to the table I did see Potter and his friends but I didn't feel like stopping to make any comments. After we claimed our table, (y/n) decided that she would go get drinks for everyone.
"Should I invite (y/n) over for Christmas holidays?" I asked Blaise when she had gotten out of earshot.
"She's never been to your house before?" Blaise questioned. "Not even for those fancy New Year's Eve balls that your parents do every year."
"Well yes, a couple of times." I said after a moment of thinking. "I think our parents introduced us to each other at one of them a couple of years ago."
"So you're thinking about inviting her over for the whole break?"
"Yeah." I nodded, "maybe you should come too so it won't be weird."
"Oh no no no." Blaise shook his head chuckling. "I refuse to be a third wheel Draco."
"But you're not going to be a third wheel Blaise. There's nothing going on so-"
"Okay and I'm back." (y/n) walked up to us carrying three large mugs of butterbeer. She passed them around to us and then sat down beside Blaise. "I wonder where Pansy is. I haven't seen her the whole time we've been here."
"The last time I saw her was in the joke shop. I think she ended up heading back to the castle." Blaise shrugged. "So what are you doing for Christmas break?"
"Well my brother is coming home from the United States. He's been studying there for the past eight months so I'm super excited to see him. But besides that, I'm going to the Malfoy's infamous New Year's Eve party, I won't be doing much of anything. What about you guys?" She looked between us taking small sips of her drink.
"Well Draco had this amazing idea that we should all go to his house for the break." Blaise answered.
"But if you don't want to that's totally fine. I understand. You said that your brother is coming home for the break so if you need to do to that then it's okay. I'll just see you when we get back." I stammered not able to stop myself. I hated the fact that she made me feel like this.
"I would love to." (y/n) gushed. "I'll go to my house for a couple of days just so I can see my brother and then I'll come to your house after I get to spend time with him."
"Yeah." I nodded smiling at Blaise surprised that he was actually okay with being with us. "That would be great."

James Potter x Reader: All I Want for Christmas is You
Warnings: Absolutely nothing but fluff.
It was nice to finally have some real friends. I hadn't had a real friend since I was a young child before I started attending Hogwarts.
I just wanted people to be my friend because they liked me and not because they wanted something from me. My first couple of years at Hogwarts, I was constantly surrounded by people, but the majority of them were not my real friends.
It took me much longer than I care to admit to realize that everyone isn't your friend. Just because you hang around someone and laugh with them doesn't make them your friend. People will pretend to be your friend to get whatever they can out of you.
My dad used to be Beater on a professional Quidditch team. People liked to think that if they acted like my friend they'd be able to meet my dad, get some private lessons out of him, or maybe even get tickets to a couple of matches.
At first I did give people tickets to matches and allowed them to meet my dad. I thought that giving these things to people would make them want to be my friend. But after I gave them what they wanted, they left me. Even though I was always surrounded by people, I was completely alone.
When I first got to Hogwarts, I enjoyed all the attention. I never had to worry about who I was going to sit with in the Great Hall or who I was going to sit by in class. There was always someone who wanted to sit beside me. I realized none of these people truly wanted to know me. They just wanted to use me.
After some time of struggling to find real friends, I met the Mauraders during my fourth year. I took a chance on sitting with them on the train one year and it was the best decision of my life. Now three years later, we had become the best of friends. I would do anything to meet them earlier. None of them had ever said or done anything to make me believe that they were being my friend for the wrong reasons.
The Gryffindor common room was always cozy during the winter holidays. At the moment, I was sitting on one of the couches snuggled up with a good book and a mug of butterbeer. Looking out the window, I saw that it had finally began to snow. This was my absolute favorite time of the year.
I read for about an hour or so until I noticed that the common room had been really quiet lately. This was not normal. There was no sign of the boys so who knows what kind of trouble they had gotten into. I shrugged it off and kept reading until I dozed off.
"Wake up sleeping beauty." I have no idea how long I had been asleep, but I slowly opened my eyes to meet a pair of warm brown eyes and messy black hair. I felt my cheeks heat up from being so close to James.
I had always had a little crush on him, but I tended to ignore those feelings because I knew it would change the whole dynamic of the entire friend group. It took me a long time to find these friends and I wasn't going to do anything to jeopardize that.
I had a feeling that James would never feel the same way about me. He had his eye on Lily for the longest. Sirius had mentioned that he had feelings for another girl, but I didn't think so. There was no way he was going to let Lily go.
"I'm awake." I yawned and jokingly rolled my eyes. I lightly pushed him away from me, but he didn't budge. He cocked his head to the side and his eyes never left mine.
Eventually, I looked away from him. I could never hold eye contact with him for long. He didn't say anything for a minute, but then plopped down on the couch beside me.
He then adjusted himself so that his head in my lap. I reached down and started running my fingers through his hair and scratching his scalp. He let out a couple of low moans. I couldn't help but smile at the image. He was absolutely perfect. We sat like that for a while neither of us saying much of anything,
"What do you want for Christmas?" James was the first one to break the silence. I glanced down at him to see that he still hadn't opened his eyes. I guess he was enjoying the silence in the common room as well.
"I haven't really given it much thought James. Maybe a new sweater or a pair of shoes."
"That's a good gift." Was all he said before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a golden snitch. He liked to carry that thing around everywhere he went. It was one of his favorite memories. It was one of my favorites as well. All of my memories with James were pretty pleasant. James caught that snitch during our fifth year when Gryffindor beat Slytherin in the championship.
When James finally caught the snitch, I pushed my way through the stands until I reached the field. I sprinted to James with his outstretched arms. Jumping into his arms, it felt as if this is how it was supposed to be.
I let go of him and I thought we were we were going to kiss. I felt it and I know he felt it. But the second he started leaning in towards me, we were bombarded by the rest of the Mauraders. Leave it to them to ruin a perfectly good moment. It was nothing new.
I stared at the snitch and watched its wings fluttering in James' grasp. I recall him telling me something about how they have memories. They remember the first person that touched them. He let the snitch go and it flitted around the common room for a little bit before returning to his outstretched hand. He did this a couple of times over and over again.
"Where's the dog?" I finally questioned after I had gotten bored of watching the two of them.
"The last time I saw him he was outside playing in the snow with his new girl of the week. I believe she's in Ravenclaw."
"Are you sure? The last time I heard, he was dating a girl in Gryffindor." I sadly sighed. "I wish he would stop playing around with all these girl's feelings. It's not fair."
"Speaking of..." James grumbled looking towards the entrance of the common room. It was Sirius' girl from last week, Amanda Harrison. Maybe this was the girl that I was thinking of and he had now moved on to a girl in Ravenclaw.
She stomped into the common room and over to the window. She crossed her arms glaring out the window. She must be watching Sirius and his new girl playing outside. The girl whipped around to the both of us her eyes glassy with tears.
"He promised he wouldn't just use me and then leave. All my friends told me not to trust him, but like an idiot I believed him."
"I'm gonna go talk to him." James sighed and headed out the portrait hole. The girl dragged the back of her hand across her eyes trying to dry the tears and sat down beside me. I gave her a sympathetic smile and held on to her hands. She looked like she just wanted to talk and I was more than happy to be a listening ear.
"I know that you're around him all the time. How have you managed not to fall in love with him?"
"I have no interest in Sirius whatsoever. I never have." I shrugged.
"Oh." I could see the wheels turning in her head but I had no idea what she was trying to work out. "Does that mean you have a thing for James?"
"Something like that." I grumbled, "but he has absolutely no interest in me."
"Are you serious?" Amanda threw her head back and laughed. "Have you seen the way he looks at you?"
"What are you talking about?" I raised my eyebrow at her.
"You mean to tell me you've never noticed the way James looks at you? He looks at you as if you are the only thing in this world that truly matters."
"Why have I never noticed that ?"
"I guess you're just never looking when he does." She pointed out letting out a small sigh. "If a guy looked at me the way he looks at you I would marry him on the spot."
I wasn't sure what to make of anything Amanda was saying. I knew she had no reason to lie to me. She wouldn't make this up for her gain. I ran upstairs to my room, grabbed a sweater, gave a quick thanks to Amanda, and went outside to find James. I needed to talk to him.
I trudged through the ankle deep snow and found James standing under a small tree watching Remus and Sirius play in the snow.
"Hi." His eyes lit up when he saw me and I was seriously starting to consider what Amanda told me. He held out a hand and when I took it he gently pulled me into him wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his chin on my shoulder. "Back in the common room you never asked me what I wanted." James mumbled. I could tell he was pouting and I let out a little giggle.
"What do you mean?"
"I asked what you wanted for Christmas when I was laying in your lap in the common room. You told me that you wanted either a sweater or a pair of shoes. You never asked what I wanted."
"You remember what I wanted?" I was surprised. I pulled away from him and looked up into his eyes then back down at my snow covered boots and then over to the frozen lake.
Whenever I get nervous around James, I can never look him in the eye. I usually just end up staring at my shoes.
"Of course I remembered (y/n)." He lowly chuckled using his one finger under my chin to force me to look up at him. We were standing so close that I could see the exact color of his eyes. There were a couple of flecks of green mixed in with his brown. "I remember everything about you (y/n)."
"What do you want for Christmas?" I swallowed getting more and more nervous every second that we were standing this close.
"You."

He Gets Jealous Part 2
George: Slytherin, halfblood, same year
I didn't like the idea of (y/n) being close friends with Draco Malfoy, but what could I do? Even though they weren't in the same year, they did spend a lot of time together.
I had come to an understanding that their friendship came easy, but I didn't like to think about them being together. But it was hard to express my concerns simply because I wasn't dating (y/n).
(y/n) had detention tonight with Filch so I decided that I wanted to do something special since I knew it had been a long week for her.
I patiently waited outside his office for (y/n), but what I wasn't expecting was for her to come out with Draco Malfoy. Both of them were laughing. Somehow, they had ended up becoming very close friends which surprised the entire school because (y/n) wasn't a pureblood.
"What are you doing here Weasley?" He sneered eyeing me up and down.
"I was just waiting on (y/n)." I honestly answered. I was in no mood to argue with him tonight.
"I don't understand why you continue to hang around these blood traitors (y/n). Even though they're pureblood, I don't think you should be associating with them."
"Draco stop." She warned coming to my aid. "I think that you forget I am not even pureblood."
"You sure could pass as one." He grumbled. "Are you coming to the common room?"
"Not right now. I'm going to go with George for a little while. I'll see you later." She gave him a small smile before following after me down the hallways.
"If you lie down with dogs, you'll get up with fleas." Malfoy called out after us which caused her to let out an agitated sigh.
"Please ignore the snarky remarks. I told him that he needs to be nicer."
"I believe that Snape would give points to someone in Gryffindor before Malfoy says anything remotely nice to me."
"Shut up," she giggled giving me a light nudge, "I promise his bark is worse than his bite. But where are you taking me?"
"Have you ever been to the kitchen before?" I asked and she shook her head. We went inside and I took her around the room introducing her to all the house elves.
They absolutely adored her. I had even asked them to prepare (y/n)'s favorite meal. So while we were sitting and talking they cooked.
"Where'd you get that jacket?" I questioned gesturing down to it.
"Oh." She looked down at it. "Draco gave it to me. It got cold down there. I completely forgot to give it back to him."
"Are you going to give it back to him?"
"Of course. Why wouldn't I?"
"I thought maybe you liked wearing it. And I'm sure he likes seeing you in it."
"Well it sure is comfy." She smirked, "I may end up keeping it."
"Now you're just doing that because I said something about it." I chuckled. One of the elves, brought over a large platter of food which consisted of (y/n)'s favorite dish, complete with a couple of sides, and dessert.
We ate and then chatted some more before we both decided that it was time for us both to head to our common rooms.
(y/n) slipped out of Malfoy's jacket and I must've had a confused look on my face because she shrugged.
"So I can remember to give it back to him." We walked in silence, but it was a comforting silence. (y/n) and I didn't always need to be talking, we could just exist in silence and everything was fine.
And it was just our luck that Malfoy was exiting the common room the second we got to the entrance. It looked like he wasn't sleeping that well due to the fact that he came out in his pajamas and his hair wasn't perfectly styled.
"Thank you for this." (y/n) smiled handing it back to him. "I appreciated it."
"I don't need it back (y/n)." He waved his hand, "Keep it. It looks a lot better on you than it does on me."
"Oh no. I couldn't possibly do that. It's such a nice jacket."
"Please, I'll just write to my mum and tell her that I misplaced it. I promise it's fine."
"She said she doesn't want it." I spoke up. Draco looked over at me as if just realizing that I was standing there.
"Jealous Weasley? I know you couldn't possibly afford to give (y/n) a jacket like this-" He started.
"Draco stop it right now." Her eyes flashed dangerously at him. "I'm done letting you talk about the Weasley family like this. I'm not going to put up with it anymore." He mumbled a couple choice words under his breath and took off down the hallway.
"George?" She questioned looking up at me, "are you jealous of him?"
"I mean kinda," I scratched the back of my neck. "I'm sure your parents would much rather you be with a pureblood and Malfoy can give you so much more that I could."
"My parents don't care about blood status George, and neither do I. Nor do I care about money. I just want someone who is going to make me happy. Like you." She stood up on her tippy toes and lightly kissed me. "There is no reason for you to be jealous of Draco Malfoy."
Fred: Gryffindor, pureblood, 2 years below (same as Trio)
I furiously watched as (y/n) sat beside Charlie hanging onto every single word coming out of his mouth. I knew that I shouldn't have a reason to be jealous because (y/n) and I were not dating, but I was not enjoying having to watch (y/n) laughing at something Charlie would say and then he would place his hand on her knee both of them laughing.
They were sitting on the couch and he was telling her stories and showing her photos from Romania from when he was working with dragons.
"I don't think you have anything to worry about?" George was standing beside me watching the scene unfold between (y/n) and Charlie. "You know that she loves dragons and what are the odds of knowing someone that works with them."
"I know." I clenched my fist, "I just don't understand why I'm so upset about it."
"You've got to be kidding me." George scoffed. "You're jealous because you like her. Plain and simple."
"I'm not jealous."
"Sure. Whatever you say." My brother said before turning around and heading into the kitchen. I did not want to leave (y/n) alone with my brother.
I watched as he threw his head back laughing at something she said. I could see a tint of blush on his cheeks. I rolled my eyes and went into the kitchen because I couldn't stand having to watch them anymore.
I know that my whole family loved having (y/n) here because everyone got along so well with her. I think mom enjoyed her company the most because it gave her another girl to fuss over. And I knew that Ginny had always seen her as the older sister she never had.
I heard them giggling late at night in her bedroom. I always had the urge to go and sit outside the door and just listen to what they were talking about.
After about thirty minutes or so, mom called everyone into the kitchen to eat. (y/n) came bounding into the kitchen followed by Charlie.
"I think it's amazing that you get to work with dragons Charlie." She gushed. "I would love to be able to work with them when I finish school."
"I think we can arrange that." Charlie shot a wink at her before sitting down at the spot across from her. Suddenly I wasn't hungry. I didn't say anything for the rest of dinner, I just stared at my food not saying much of anything. The whole dinner (y/n) and Charlie just went on and on about dragons.
My parents had gone to bed early leaving the rest of us to eat dessert alone in the living room. Of course (y/n) was seated beside Charlie, but this time she was practically sitting in his lap.
She was now running her hands through his hair. When I couldn't take the giggling anymore, I excused myself and went to my room to cool down.
"Fred?" I lifted my gaze to see (y/n) standing at my doorway a small smile playing on her lips. "Are you okay?"
"Am I okay?" I was furious. "You were outright flirting with my brother while I watched you."
"It was harmless flirting and you know that." She pouted. "We didn't mean anything by it."
"And what's that supposed to mean?"
"It means that he was in on it. I wanted to see if I could make you jealous."
"Oh." I raised an eyebrow realizing that all the sudden affection made sense, "and that's all it was?"
"I promise." (y/n) walked into the room and sat down beside me. "Did it work?"
"Of course it worked. I was furious."
"Good." She grinned lightly kissing my nose, "You are so cute when you're jealous."
Cedric: Hufflepuff, muggleborn, same year
I had always found these games rather childish, but Cedric just wanted to do something to take his mind off of things. I didn't blame him since the first Quidditch match of the season was coming up so I didn't argue when he asked me accompany him to the Room of Requirements tonight. Him and some other people wanted to play some games like 7 minutes in heaven and truth or dare along with a couple of other party games.
At about 10:30, I went up to my room to freshen up a little bit. I put on a nicer outfit and threw on a little makeup. I wasn't trying to impress anyone, I just hadn't had a good reason to get somewhat dressed up in a while. Cedric was waiting for me down in the common room and when he saw me, his eyes brightened up.
"You must be dressing to impress someone?"
"No." I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, "just because I get dressed up doesn't mean I'm trying to impress anyone."
"I didn't mean it like that (y/n)," he looked away clearly not expecting my reaction, "but you do look good."
"Thanks." I mumbled exiting the room followed by him. I didn't know where we were going so I just followed him. We walked in silence neither one of us saying much of anything. I don't know why I was so upset with him, but I did dress to impress him. I just wanted him to notice me and I've been doing everything I can to do that, but it just hasn't been happening.
I don't think he would ever see me the way I needed him to so the only reason I agreed to come to this was because maybe I could make him jealous. I wanted him to see what he was missing out on.
Waiting for us in the room were the Weasley twins, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Cho Change, Angelina Johnson, Katie Bell, Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, Pansy Parkinson, Oliver Wood, and the majority of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team.
I said hello to everyone before sitting down between George and Cedric. We played truth or dare for a little while, but nothing exciting really happened. Personally, I was really looking forwards to this 7 minutes in heaven.
Everyone had written down their names on a piece of paper and tossed it into a hat. So whoever you pulled out was who you had to go into the closet with. Now what you did in there was up to you two.
Harry and Draco went in together, then Angelina and Fred, Oliver and Cho, now it was my turn to pull out a name. I reached into the bag praying that it was Cedric, but I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled out George Weasley's name.
I sent him a shy smile before getting up and walking to the closet with him following behind me.
"You guys know the rules. You get 7 minutes and you can come out when the time is up." Fred smirked pushing the two of us in together. I wasn't expecting it to be so dark in here. I pulled out my wand.
"Lumos." I whispered illuminating the whole room.
"I prefer the dark." George mumbled scratching the back of his neck nervously. Looking at him I had this odd feeling that I made him nervous but I had no idea why.
"Do you want me to put out the light?"
"No." It seemed as if he was looking at everything in this tiny closet but me. "Look I know I'm not going to be very good at this whole making out thing, but I don't think we should disappoint everyone out there." He gestured towards the outside of the room. We both knew that everyone was listening to us just as I had been listening to everyone else who had come in here before us. He took a couple of steps towards me closing the gap. "May I kiss you?"
All I could do was nod. I was not expecting George Weasley to be this much of a gentleman at all. Suddenly, his lips were connected to mine. There were sweet and soft, exactly what I would have expected. His hands were resting on my waist and mine wrapped themselves around his neck. I could feel my heart rate intensifying.
"Sorry if I'm not up to your standards." He mumbled embarrassed, "it's been a while." He dropped his hands from my waist and backs up.
I roll my eyes, close the distance between us, and place my lips back on his. He takes this as an invitation to wrap his arms around my waist again pulling me into him.
"You're doing just fine George." I giggled when we pulled apart. I moaned slightly when George's lips come back to mine; them moving in perfect sync. The way that he kisses me makes my knees go weak and I love it. I hear a slight click and the room is suddenly flooded with light. Fred is standing there with the biggest grin on his face.
"Cedric is not happy at all." He says to me and then turns to his brother, "but I can see someone else is." He gestures down to his brother's pants.
"Sorry." I squeaked walking out of the closet.
"Don't worry about it." George groaned coming out behind to and going to sit down beside Fred who couldn't stop laughing. I sat down beside Cedric who was looking murderous.
"What's wrong with you?" I ask.
"Like you care." He snapped.
"Of course I care Cedric."
"I just had to listen to you make out with George." He shuddered, "who was clearly enjoying it. And I can assume that you did as well."
"I mean, yeah I did enjoy it. It felt nice to get some attention."
"And what's that supposed to mean (y/n)?"
"Exactly what you think that means Cedric." I hissed. "I'm not going to put up with you being jealous if we're not even an item."
"I'm not jealous." He scoffed.
"Whatever you say Cedric. Just know that I'm not going to put up with this." We sat there glaring at each other for the rest of the night not saying a word to the other. When it was time to go back to the room, I tried to hurry out of there but Cedric caught up with me.
"I'm sorry for overreacting."
"And?"
"For acting that way. You didn't deserve that. Now can I take you out to make up for it? Like a real date."
"I'd love that."
