Hannigram Masterlist
A few favorites in no particular order except alphabetical. :))
Canon Timeline and Timeline Adjacent
a tower to broadcast all our dark dreams by coloredink. Complete - E - 53k
"Jack didn't drag me anywhere I didn't want to go. I'm happy to assist with the case, and we've already proven that we can cohabitate without undue distress."
"Yeah, well, I still think it's stupid," Will muttered.
"We do fit the profile," Hannibal said. "A couple from different social strata; recently cohabiting; homosexual. That's not what offends you, is it?" Hannibal added.
(Or: Hannibal and Will have to pretend to be a couple for a case. Everything goes downhill from there.)
and built a little house that we could live in by coloredink. Complete - G - 29k
"It's your house," he muttered. "It only seems right you should get to use it, once in a while. And it's been years since you took a vacation, and you were attacked by a psychopath lately, so you could probably use a break. But it's," he shifted in his chair, "probably it's not really your idea of a vacation, having to spend it with me and a, a pack of strays."
"On the contrary," Hannibal said, anticipation unfurling warm and bubbly in his chest, "that sounds like a wonderful time."
What Dreams by emungere. Complete - E - 92k
A seduction through physical objects. It starts with a scarf loaned to Will on a cold day, but Hannibal, as usual, isn't satisfied with anything small.
Gentler Means by stoic_swan. Complete - E - 175k
Will doesn't leave Hannibal's dinner party for his date with the Chesapeake Ripper. As a result, Hannibal alerts Will of his encephalitis that night and uses Will's recovery to explore his curiosity about friendship-- and what makes Will Graham fascinating. Hannibal's growing affinity for Will compels him to use a somewhat softer approach to influencing the man than he had originally planned, and Will isn't impervious to becoming the object of someone's affection after a lifetime of self-imposed social isolation.
let not man tear asunder by abstractwatercolor. Complete - G - 13k
The FBI wants the disgraced Dr. Lecter's help catching a killer called Buffalo Bill. Dr. Lecter wants something in exchange.
Philia by Gweezle. Complete - E - 74k
Getting into Jack Crawford's Forensic Psychology class was a dream come true for Will Graham, until he learns that his final assignment is to attend twelve interviews with the notorious serial killer, Hannibal the Cannibal, in order to unravel his mysterious past.
Even as he grows closer to the truth, he also grows closer to Dr. Lecter, and the doctor is very eager to get to know this young man who thinks like a murderer.
Pi's Lullaby by t_pock. Complete - E - 62k
Hannibal smells her first. Nearly buried beneath the pungency of the cheap colognes mounted on a nearby display case is something totally incongruous: the sticky-sweet dough scent of the cinnamon pretzels sold down on the mall’s first level. He parts the suits with both hands, hangers squeaking on the bar, and looks down at the young girl squatting on the floor in the middle of the rack.
Or, Will loses his daughter at the mall. Hannibal returns her to him.
Separately to a Wood by emungere. Complete - G - 14k
AU where Hannibal just proposes to Will that morning in the motel room and for some reason, Will says 'yes'.
Shark Tank by xzombiexkittenx. Complete - E - 72k
Will and Hannibal meet in prison. Hannibal is still the Ripper, Will is still a profiler who had encephalitis. Only now they're cellmates.
Two Solitudes by emungere. Complete - E - 55k
After the fall, Will drags Hannibal out of the Atlantic and they find their way north to a remote part of Labrador, where they try to make a life together.
Wolf and I by t_pock. Complete - E - 46k
Will wonders what constitutes good prey, and answers his own question—a high risk, a good chase, a hard kill. Tangentially he asks, “What’s the longest something’s survived you?”
Hannibal says, “Never through the night.”
Or, Will encounters a creepy stray and discovers the truth about Hannibal.
Various AUs and Different Species Fics.
Aiónios by drinkbloodlikewine and whiskeyandspite. Complete - E - 218k —keep an eye on the tags for this one! —
“If he is your father, he can fault you however it suits him,” replies Hannibal, the scarcest glimmer of amusement allowed to gather in the corners of his eyes. “And with a mouth like that, you’ll be lucky if it’s not first with a fist.”
"Would you?" The boy asks, feigning casual, words obviously directed at Hannibal, "Fault me? And with a fist, too?"
Will is 16 when he finds himself given to an older man to be mentored and apprenticed in the art of war and horsemanship. It is traditional, and all would be well, had Will not run his mouth to this particular general in the public baths not several hours earlier...
All That Glitters by HigherMagic. Complete - E - 29k
The man sits forward, fingers laced and shoulders hunched up in urgency. "I'm sure you've no doubt heard – there is a beast in the mountains around this village." Hannibal presses his lips together and says nothing. "They say it is a demon of flame, a dragon!"
Surely, a terrifying thing to hear. Hannibal raises a brow.
The man huffs, brows coming together and upper lip lifting. "We have asked you here to slay the beast."
Antlers the Colour of Blood by Ghostwriter98. Complete - E - 22k
Will Graham finds himself trapped in a cage with wendigo Hannibal and does his best to survive. Unfortunately, Hannibal somehow misinterprets Will's behavior as being of a friendly (and potentially romantic) nature and responds accordingly with dead bodies. A fic wherein Will is constantly terrified, Hannibal is unbearably smitten and Mason is so done with the both of them.
Come Hungry by HigherMagic. Complete - E - 26k
There are two wolves guarding the entrance, and they look at Will with sharp eyes as he strides past them, towards the check-in station. He tells the receptionist – human, he notes, marking both the pale blue veins in her neck and then how her posture immediately stiffens, pulling her hair forward to hide it – that he's here to see Jack Crawford, and is told to sign in and wait for his visitor's badge, and an escort.
He does as he's told because even though his eyes are the clear, natural blue of a well-fed vampire, his kind are notorious for acting unpredictably, and he can feel the eyes of the guards and the blinking cameras, listens to them whir as whoever controls them undoubtedly let their sights linger on him and keep him monitored while he waits.
Pánas tou Thanátou by RageSloth. Complete - E - 28k
Will enters a strange pet shop and is forced into purchasing an antlered man by the shop's owner, Mister Verger.
Raised by wolves, and other beasts by kafkian. Complete - G - 4k
There’s a faint rustling sound from a few hundred yards in front of him. Will freezes.
Something that looks like it stepped right out of a nightmare walks into the clearing. It’s vaguely human-shaped, skin so black it shines iridescent blue over emaciated ribs and perfectly formed antlers. It walks like a beast of burden, slow and inexorable, and it’s staring right at Will.
It blinks.
The First Rule of Owning a Catboy Is That You Don't by HigherMagic. Complete - E - 12k
Will has always considered himself more of a dog person, but even the strictest of rules have exceptions.
The Poet's Wife by HigherMagic. Complete - E - 64k
Will is captured during the war and made a personal servant of the King, Hannibal Lecter. He has heard from his friends who were sentenced to the fighting pits that if they win one hundred battles, they earn their freedom. He decides to attempt the same; one hundred nights with Hannibal, earning his favor, so that he can be free. Of course, life in a castle, and serving Hannibal, is far more complicated than that.

Bagginshield Modern AUs
They're all set in a modern time, that's for sure.
A Remover of Obstacles by MistakenMagic. Complete - E - 371k
"Dis often chided her older brother for being a misanthropist. She did it so often it had become a term of endearment. It was true that Thorin struggled with people; he struggled to form and maintain relationships. Dr. Grey had diagnosed him with this and Thorin hadn’t the heart to tell him this wasn’t a symptom of his PTSD, it was a symptom of his personality. He exercised a sense of apathy with almost everyone he met… But Bilbo was different. Thorin actually found himself wanting to know more about him."
Alone is a word not meant for you by authoressjean. Complete- G- 5k This is the first fic I ever read in this fandom :)
The holidays are fast approaching, and Thorin's been dreading them, now that it's just him and his nephews. Harder still given that Fili still barely speaks and hasn't really since Dis died.
So when Kili drags them into the bookstore to look for children's literature author Mr. Baggins' new book, and they find the author himself reading his latest, Thorin isn't expecting anything beyond maybe making his nephews a little happier. He certainly isn't expecting to find something for himself but he may have done just that.
By Request by HildyJ. Complete - G - 2.2k
As a musician, Thorin's life can be summed up in tempos. For instance, the concerto he's performing on Friday is Allegro - quick and bright, followed by Andantino - slightly slow, and then back to Allegro again.
On the other hand, his relationship with his cute neighbour? Larghissimo - very, very slow.
Fairy Nests by MilkTeaMiku. Complete - NR - 27k
Bilbo is a fairy. Thorin builds fairy houses.
Flowers and Flaws by Erinye. Complete - G - 58k
There are few things Thorin feels about as deeply as he does about flowers - his nephews’ education, the conservation of Derbyshire dales, Sunday’s lunch with Dís and the boys. Until one day a stranger with flowers tattooed all over his arms shows up at the shop and Thorin would rather like to indulge in the meaning of every single blossom inked on the stranger’s skin. But the stranger may not be a stranger after all and though he has flowers on his wrists, he may not wear his heart on his sleeve.
Bilbo Baggins is at a turning point. Call it mid-life crisis, call it responsibility, call it teaching Geography to kids in the bloody middle of Derbyshire. Of one thing Bilbo is certain: disgruntled-yet-rather-endearing florists are not what he needs in his life right now. Definitely.
Good Things by orphan_account. Complete - M - 12k
A car accident leaves a once proud and egotistical Thorin scarred and partially blind, and he locks himself away from the outside world, certain that he deserves a life devoid of human interaction.
It Started With A Cup Of Tea by alkjira. Complete - G - 9k
“It'll be very good for you, and most amusing for me."
Those were the words that heralded Bilbo Baggins’ transformation into a cat.
Plan B by Drenagon. Complete - G - 85k
Plan B: an alternative strategy; a contingency plan, devised for an outcome other than the expected plan.
Or, sending an unqualified temp to act as Thorin Oakenshield's PA because no one qualified can put up with him.
(He'd say they can't meet his standards. Of course he would.)
Meet Bilbo Baggins. He just became Plan B.
Share My Space by thesoundofnat. Complete - G - 4.7k
Bilbo is on a business trip and is staying at his old friend Balin’s place while he’s in town. What Balin forgot to mention was that his very attractive cousin Thorin was visiting as well with his nephews. What happens when Balin’s brother suddenly shows up and Bilbo is forced to share a room with Thorin?
The Ghost And Mr Baggins by perkynurples. Complete - G - 76k
They say that everything can be cured by saltwater - sweat, tears or the sea. Bilbo Baggins chooses the last option, taking his recently orphaned nephew and moving to the charming Oak Cottage, overlooking England’s grislier shores. The house charms him instantly, and though he knows nothing at all about the sea, or about making ends meet on his own so far from everything he’s known his whole life for that matter, he’s quite determined to stay, and see his nephew get better, odd sounds in the night be damned. He’s living in a modern world, after all, and the nonsense he’s been hearing about the house being haunted by its former owner, the mysterious Captain Durin, is just silly superstition… isn’t it?
The Grocer and The Prince by HildyJ. Complete - G - 9k
Sometimes separate worlds touch briefly, allowing travel from one place to another. But no matter the world, Bilbo and Thorin seem to always find each other.
Winter Wish by Jezunya. Complete - G - 1.4k
Frodo climbs up onto the stepstool, Bilbo’s hand on his back to steady him, and grasps the edge of the table in his little hands, carefully following the two DJs’ instructions of not too close and speak slowly and clearly and you’re doing great, kid, and then, when they nod and tell him to start, he says, right into the microphone:
“My Winter Wish is for my uncle to get a boyfriend.”

A Little Drarry; Favorites
Just 12 of some of my favorite Drarry fics in no particular order. :) (except alphabetical)
A week of somewhat forced but not completely unpleasant dinner dates with Harry Potter by QueenofThyme. Complete - M - 13k
The only thing stopping Draco Malfoy from being forced into hospital is a condition from his doctor to have dinner with someone every night. And one night he's desperate enough to call Harry Potter. And Harry Potter says yes.
Away Childish Things by Lettered. Complete - G - 153k Top three.
Harry gets de-aged. Malfoy has to help him.
Can't Afford to Fall by p1013. Complete - E - 100k
Draco's been the potions master at Hogwarts for four years. At the beginning of his fifth year, everything looks like it'll be smooth sailing. That is, until the new Defense against the Dark Arts teacher arrives and throws all of Draco's well-considered plans out the window.
Catfished by Saras_Girl. Complete - G - 32k
Draco is in deep water, Harry can see straight through him, and that's not even the full scale of the problem.
Life is all yours to miss by Saras_Girl. Complete - M - 114k This is the very top of my Top Three for me :)
Professor Malfoy's world is contained, controlled, and as solitary as he can make it, but when an act of petty revenge goes horribly awry, he and his trusty six-legged friend are thrown into Hogwarts life at the deep end and must learn to live, love and let go.
Mental by sara_holmes. Complete - M - 186k
Harry has had quite enough of sharing his mind with someone else, thankyouverymuch. A miscast Legilimecy spell says otherwise.
Salt on the Western Wind by Saras_Girl. Complete - M - 60k
When the war isn’t quite as over as it first appears, a guilt-ridden Harry is sent to a mysterious safe-house. Among sandwiches, insomnia, and Mills & Boon, he discovers something quite unexpected.
Snakey hair by OTPshipper98. Complete - G - 2.3k
An annoying hex, a bunch of annoying snakes and an even more annoying Draco Malfoy.
The devil's white knights. Complete - E - 64k
When Harry wakes up in an alternate timeline--a timeline where Voldemort was defeated long before the first war--he discovers everything is different. His parents, his godfather, his friends--and him. Harry must deal with the consequences of who he would have been if he had been raised by his parents, and figure out where he stands with his casual hook up, Draco Malfoy.
The Lesson of You by thecouchsofa. Complete - E - 65k
Harry likes kids. That doesn't mean he's ready for a small boy to turn up on the doorstep of Grimmauld Place insisting that Harry is his father. That was weird enough, but the child identifying Draco Malfoy as his other parent was something Harry had no bloody idea how to handle.
Turn by Saras_Girl. Complete - E - 306k Top three :)
One good turn always deserves another. Apparently.
Unexpected, A Holiday Tale of Mistaken Identity by amightypenguin Complete - M - 25k
After an accident involving a two year old and a wand, Harry much to his dismay is sent to Draco, who believes he's caring for a pet. A large pet with a bad attitude.
-----
I suppose Saras_Girl really keeps me reading in this fandom, haha! Truly, I reread these fics when I start thinking about these two... It comes in waves.

A little Bagginshield Masterlist
A small collection of some of my faves :)
Canon and Canon sort of.
A Black-feathered Omen by birdkeeperklink. Complete - G - 14k You need an AO3 account to view this work!!
Thorin is used to his raven wings being badly received by new acquaintances, but that doesn't mean it still doesn't hurt when Bilbo Baggins does nothing but gape at him when they first meet. And what right does he have to gawk at Thorin's wings when he doesn't have any at all?
A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes by diemarysues. Complete- G- 64k
Bilbo Baggins has been plagued with dreams for some months, always filled with the same stranger: big hands, strong arms, dark hair. It seems a mystery until he figures that it is a Dwarf, though this only narrows down his search to every Dwarf in Erebor.
When he overhears mention of a special party in the Mountain he wishes briefly that he can attend. But that's ridiculous. He's a Hobbit, not a Dwarf. Turns out that's not a problem when magic is involved.
A Home for my Heart by Moonrose91. Complete - M - 54k
For things Bilbo could not change, he was condemned to a life of isolation, with the belief that none could love him. And then a Dwarf came to Hobbiton.
Against the pink sky blackberry tangles by vtforpedro. Complete - G - 14k
In which young Bilbo and Thorin meet at a blackberry thicket and grow older together, sowing a love of their own, whether they are near to each other or apart.
Alone this Yuletide by Emsiecat. Complete - G - 91k
After becoming increasingly irritated by overtures of romance from various Shire residents following the death of his mother four years ago, Bilbo is more than ready to resort to desperate measures. That is, up to and including pretending to be in a serious relationship with a certain surly blacksmith currently inhabiting the Bindbale Woods.
It's a good idea after all; all they have to do is pretend to be in love over the Yuletide period and Bilbo's family and suitors will surely leave him alone after that. It's perfect! And nothing can possibly go wrong, right? Certainly nothing as preposterous as falling for one another for real...
An Ode to Broken Things by Wizards_Pupil. Complete - NR - 41k
Headed to Greenwood to see the healer Thranduil, Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey hitch a ride with thirteen dwarves headed to Erebor.
Bilbo had hoped it would be like the adventures he read. That there would be orcs, sword fights, torture, revenge, trolls, chases, or escapes.
He had never expected miracles or true love.
Hand Me Your Hand by Resacon1990. Complete - G - 1.2k
"You touch my hand," he says, surprised at his boldness, "a lot."
"And what of it?" Thorin's voice is quiet, but his eyes are flashing darkly as Bilbo swallows again and gives him a small smile.
Oak and Mistletoe by HildyJ. Complete - M - 62k
After a life dominated by a strange form of sickness, Thorin is sent to the Shire to seek a cure only Bilbo Baggins can offer.
Roads Paved With Golden Song by drunkonwriting. Incomplete - G - 20k
Bilbo Baggins gains all sorts of unexpected things during the Fell Winter--a shaky accuracy with a bow and arrow, the ability to make a meal with no more than a handful of weeds and some water, the position as the head of his family's household . . .
. . . and an injured dragon left to die in the snows of the Old Forest.
Slapped With the Truth by somanyofthekids. Complete - E - 57k
Bilbo is a (mostly) reformed burglar and a guide with peculiar gifts. When Gandalf arrives with a proposition involving 13 dwarves, a dragon, and a resurrection of those burglary skills, of course he's going to say no.
Shire Treasures by aquileaofthelonelymountain. Complete - M - 7k
When a journey takes him from Erebor to the Blue Mountains, Thorin decides to visit Bilbo. What he doesn’t expect, though, is to become the babysitter for a hobbit boy who sees a lot more than Thorin is willing to admit to himself.
The Handkerchief by MordorIsCalling. Complete - G - 10k
Thorin unclenched his palm and straightened the handkerchief between his hands. It was but a simple thing - just a white cloth with blue flowery patterns at the edges. It was not in the best state, either; it had lost much of its colour and some stains wouldn’t wash off, no matter how hard Thorin tried. Despite his best efforts, it was becoming rather battered indeed.
After all, it had been three years.
The Pursuit of the Whole by AlamoGirl80. Complete - G - 28k
"Love is the pursuit of the whole" - Plato
Some things, Bilbo learned, are simply not meant to be parted.
A case in point.
Alternate Reality AUs
Faunts and Satyrs by HiddenKitty. Complete - G - 63k
In which the Dwarves are Satyrs, because Reasons
I've Grown a Hedge Around My Heart by pibroch. Complete- G - 44k Thorin is a stubborn hobbit!!! :))
"Thorin was the essence of so many Buckland oddities, distilled into one misfortunate young hobbit, much to his infinite embarrassment. Built like a stork, his father had said once, in an example of Thrain Brandybuck’s usual tactless humour. All beak and legs."
Thorin Brandybuck, just recently come of age, still lives in his family’s smial in Buckland, with his parents and two younger siblings. Thorin is an odd duck amongst his relations and neighbours-- unsociable, grumpy, shy, and awkward. And beyond that, he looks rather strange even for a Bucklander, strongly favouring the thick, dark haired build of his Stoorish blood. It defies all sense and reason why Bilbo Baggins, an exemplar of all the respectable traits Thorin lacked, would ever desire a friendship with him.
Bilbo, as Thorin discovers, is not always as sensible as he appears.
We Shall Be Monsters by Erinye. Complete - E - 69k Not everyone’s cup of tea, please be warned before reading.
Haunted by the loss of his loved ones and the decline of his family’s fortune, Doctor Thorin Eijkenskialdi conducts unspeakable experiments in the last remaining property of the once formidable Durins’ estate. Rumour has it that he has grown obsessed with the idea of conquering Death, and that he is fostering some great evil behind the high walls of his castle - something he should be afraid of in the first place. Enters one Bilbo Baggins - is it redemption or damnation?
Frankenstein!AU, featuring unhealthy obsessions, a trip too many to the graveyard, gothic romance, and a reasonable amount of screaming.
Modern AUs
In June and June and More June by Dragonslaeyr. Complete-G- 88k
When Bilbo agreed on a trip to Erebor to clear up the last of his mother's estate, what he didn't count on was falling in love with its gorgeous landscape, the fiercely proud people, and yes, the delicious food. Now if only he could figure out why everyone was acting so strangely around his neighbours...
One-Sided Conversations by northerntrash. Complete - M - 95k
"Thank you for listening," Thorin said, getting to his feet. "I hope to be able to return the favour, one day."
The man on the bed didn't respond, but since he'd been in a coma for longer than Thorin had known him, that wasn't entirely surprising.
Teach Me Your Ways by airebellah. Complete - G - 63k
Thorin sat in a bookstore reading to his nephews. He struggled to read the foreign English text, but he would do anything to please his nephews. Including humiliating himself in front of a cute man with a small boy of his own.
Thorin Durin, forced from his home in war-torn Erebor, struggles to adapt to England’s language and customs. Bilbo offers to help, and amongst many a cultural confusion, their relationship quickly grows beyond simple language lessons.
What Happens in Gondor by lilithiumwords. Complete - E - 28k
When Professor Bilbo Baggins sent Kíli Vinson's paper home with a bad grade, he never imagined that his relaxing office hours would be interrupted by Kíli's terribly rude uncle.
Whom, incidentally, Bilbo had met before and knew rather, er, intimately. (Or The one night stand that Bilbo will always regret leaving behind.)

seriously though bisexuality being defined as attraction to men and women is a heterosexual’s definition of bisexuality actual bisexual groups and organizations have been defining it as attraction to two or more genders or same and other genders since the nineties and plenty of nb people actually id as bi and refusing to accept how we define ourselves is so absurdly biphobic and heterosexist and jfc it’s 2014 can other queer people fucking realize and acknowledge this
