"Quand il me prend dans ses bras Qu'il me parle tout bas Je vois la vie en rose..." Calypso's Birthday is legit my favorite episode of the silly pirate comedy. Also the lighting is gorgeous.

The funny pirate show wasn't supposed to make me feel sad. I demand a season two and a happy ending.

My rescue finally arrived home from Mexico after two months of searching for a flight parent. She's really silly but is the most loving girl you'll ever meet. Even my grumpy senior adores her

"Toss you for Edinburgh."
Sometimes you wile. Sometimes you thwart. Other times you spend company time flirting with the adversary in the middle of a Shakespeare rehearsal.

Listen, El Santo and Blue Demon vs The Monsters is a masterpiece. Also, it would make an excellent animated feature.

Dance of the Flyers is one of the oldest prehispanic surviving traditions that managed to survive the cultural genocide brought over by Spanish settlers.

Tlaloc, " The Nectar of the Earth", is one of the oldest and most important mesoamerican deities. While his name was given by the Aztec*, versions of this god have been found in cultures as old as Teotihuacan. He is the Supreme God of rain, earthly fertility, and water.  In the Sun Stone, he is shown as the Third Sun, and was associated with the element of fire. His waters brought the Earth back to life, created lakes and rivers. During his time, men consumed atzinzintli (water corn). However, men soon became corrupt and prone to stealing and murder. So Quetzatcoatl and Tezcatlipoca's conspired against Tlaloc, and the latter ordered Xiuhtecuhtli, god of fire, to destroy mankind. Xiuhrecuhtli, emerged from a volcano and turned the sky into fire. Ashes fell on the now destroyed world and the few survivors turned into birds. So ended the Third Sun, 4-Lluvia .
*The Aztec are the mexica people when they were still nomads traveling from Aztlan, and before they founded Tenochtitlan.

Quetzalcoatl, "Feathered Serpent", is a patron God for many prehispanic cultures. Dependening on the region he is either Xolotol's twin, or Tezcatlipoca's brother, or Huitzilopochtli's. He is associated with wind, light, opposites, Venus, and the creation of man. In the Sun Stone, he is represented as the Second Sun. Unlike his brother, he was seen as a more benevolent star, allowing crops to grow and thrive. His brother, Tezcatlipoca, seeking to restore his position as the Sun, with a great swipe of his claw, felled him from the heavens. Upon impact, a tremendous wind storm ravaged the Earth forcing men to walk hunched over, until they became monkeys. The storm finally destroyed everything in its path and so was the last day of, 4-Wind. Another legend tells that Quetzatcoatl and his twin,  Xolotl, ventured to Mictlan in order to retrieve the bones of Tzocuiliceque (first reiteration of mankind). However, in order to get them, they deceived the lord of the underworld, Mictlantecuhtli. Angered, he sent birds after the two gods, killing Xolotl. Quetzatcoatl managed  to escape,  but fell on the bones and broke them into pieces of various shapes and sizes. With his blood, he turned these bones into humans.
