I HAVE TO reblog this, there is no other choice. Also, let's talk about the fact that Grisha's, who did nothing wrong will be hunted again for literally existing. Their power will be hunted by the kingdoms around so they can have more power over the other. What happens after the Fold goes away is something that cannot be explained by the word destruction. It is something much worse.

I've talked about this before and I'll talk about it again because someone bloody has to, but literally no one in Ravka has an actual plan for this war except Aleksander and they can cry "evil" all they want, but fact is they're surrounded.

"dEsTrOy ThE fOlD" and then what?

You have Shu Han on one side, Fjerda on the other and a rebellion in West Ravka (aided by Fjerda). West Ravka is going as far as allowing Fjerdans into their cities to hunt Grisha and our heroes think they'll what? Fall on their knees and thank them for banishing the Fold? The same people who sent assassins to kill a Saint? That's how they think ambitions of power work? They think an uprising in a tsarist regime is thwarted through an act of kindness?

Aleksander said the Fold is their best weapon and did he stutter? Did he lie? Showing the enemy you can expand the Fold and forcing them into a cease-fire, so countless lives need not be lost to a never-ending war? Is that your villain? I call that a man with a plan.

If ıt's gonna make you happy, Damian's voice actor did say that Batfamily had Game of Thrones nights and Raven joined all the time 😌

Me, leaning on a lamppost by a corner store wearing the stereotypical long coat: "Hey, whatcha need?"

You, looking around just to be sure: "Got any of them Headcanons?"

Me: "Say no more."

- Damian's voice grows soft whenever Raven is around.

- Damian feels less anxious around Raven; less annoyed.

- Damian tells Raven that he's going on patrol whenever he does.

- They take turns raising Titus.

- Raven is Batfamily approved. Jason Todd had even said that she's dangerous.

- Despite always reading magical texts, Raven has a soft spot for romances.

- Damian and Raven have movie nights.

- Damian criticizes every action movie, because he knows how everything works.

• "That is NOT how you execute a takedown!"

- Whatever temperature is cold to a human, it's beyond freezing to Raven because of her half-demon blood. Damian does his best to make it easier for her.

- During thunderstorms, Raven will seek out Damian for comfort. The sound of thunder reminds her of Hell.

- Damian would never want to bring Raven to Gotham because of Joker. He knows she's a formidable fighter but as an empath, it would break her.

- Raven can't handle salt. At all. Damian thinks this is insane, since salt is in many of the foods he eats.

- Damian suffers from PTSD (I mean, have you seen the League of Shadows?) and sometimes his nightmares get to him. Raven does her best to help him.

- Raven can't handle horror films. Damiam can't handle seeing Raven in distress.

- Damian wears long sleeves to cover his numerous scars.

- Damian does not like high populated areas (the mall, beach, etc.) so he sticks by Raven as close as possible.

- Whenever Raven gets too overwhelmed by her Father, she likes to listen to Damian breathe. It calms her down and ignores the constant threats of her Father promising to kill everyone she loves.

- Raven got Damian hooked on tea.

- Damian and Raven like reading books together.

- Damian teaches Raven hand-to-hand combat just in case if she can't use her powers.

- Whenever Damian has to stay up due to paperwork, Raven stays up with him.

- Whenever Damian has his bad days, Raven gives him space. He is always surprised that she welcomes him back afterwards with open arms.

- Even though they are close, it's hard for Damian to show affection through words. So, he makes sure she knows them through his emotions.

So I’m back at stay at home orders. Yay…

But now I’m back to hyper fixating on this couple and I re-watched Apokolips like the nerd I am. Decided I wanted to see what Raven would look like not ill. 

It can out ok. Normally I re-outline/re-color everything but I got lazy and so the lines/color are spotty.

But then I went further!

Both Raven and Damian needed an new look even if it’s not a lot. I seriously don’t expect them to wear the same thing from 13/14 when they’re 18/19. That’s like a college freshman wearing their middle school clothes.

Missed opportunities.  

I’ll probably do more damirae/apokolips posts since they seem to be thinning out and I got nothing but time right now.

I blame the edible I ate. Legit wrote a damirae fic, drew a pic for it, snacked myself in coma, watched apokolips, watched judas contract, and drew these all in a few hours cause the concept of time went out the window lol 

(Ignore where I got lazy. I realized too late that the sides of the bed to the middle are off because their hands should be hanging off that bed. so I gave up cause I’m not fixing that. Also fuck that blanket)
