Lily Evans Potter (as Rose Leslie):

Muggleborn witch was sorted into Gryffindor house at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She eventually made her way up the ranks and became an elite member of the Slug Club and Head Girl. She was constantly being referred to as the “brightest witch of her age”. Lily eventually married her school friend James Potter and fought in the First Wizarding War. She and her husband lost their lives on October 31st, 1981. Her son Harry is known as the Boy Who Lived.

Salazar Slytherin (As Idris Elba):

One of the few wizards who could speak Parseltongue, he was one of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was untrusting of muggleborn witches and wizards and expressed his concerns to the other founders asking that they not be allowed to attend the school. After they refused Salazar built a massive chamber that contained a Basilisk inside, and left shortly afterwards. It is unknown of when or where he died only that he died after leaving Hogwarts.

Godric Gryffindor (as Richard Madden)

Born in England in a village later known as Godric’s Hollow, Godric Gryffindor was one of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He has left two artifacts behind for the school, his Sorting Hat and the Sword of Gryffindor that was crafted by Goblins. He and his students are known for their outstanding bravery and courage. He was very good friends with Salazar Slytherin until a rift in their relationship was caused after Salazar stated he did not want to allow muggleborn children to attend their school.

Helena Ravenclaw (as Gugu Mbatha-Raw)

Based on my Rowena Ravenclaw as Angel Coulby.

Not much is known about Helena Ravenclaw other than that she was a part of one of the first generations that attended Hogwarts. Her mother, Rowena Ravenclaw, was the head of Ravenclaw house and one of the founders. Shortly after her graduation she grew jealous of her mother’s popularity and stole her Diadem. Her mother recruited the Baron, who was in love with Helena, to find her in Albania and out of anger he ended up stabbing her to death. Distraught by what he had done he committed suicide moments later. They both returned to Hogwarts as house ghosts. Although Helena, now known as the Grey Lady, is quiet, some of the Ravenclaw students say she will talk to those of her house occasionally.

Rowena Ravenclaw (as Angel Coulby)

One of the founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and namesake of Ravenclaw House, Rowena was known for her incredible wit and creativity. She came up with the floor-plan for the famous moving stairs inside the castle. Native from Scotland she was very good friends with her Welsh friend and fellow cofounder Helga Hufflepuff. She eventually bore a daughter named Helena Ravenclaw, who after her graduation from Hogwarts, stole her mother’s diadem. This broke Rowena’s heart and she shortly died thereafter.

Helga Hufflepuff (As Michelle Fairley)

One of the founds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry she was a bright and talented witch from Wales. She is known for being the head of Hufflepuff house and for her special talent in food related charms. While she served as professor and founder of Hogwarts she recruited house elves to cook in the Hogwarts Kitchen. She made this decisions so that house elves would have a safe place to work so they would be under any sort of neglect or abuse. She accepted all sorts of students in her house regardless of where they were from, what they looked like, or their level of intelligence. Her students however are known for being just, loyal and true.

Bellatrix Lestrange nee Black (as Katie McGrath)

Known for her extreme loyalty to Lord Voldemort, Bellatrix Black was sorted into Slytherin House when she attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She escaped from Azkaban in the late nineties and shortly afterward killed her first cousin Sirius Black in the Department of Mysteries. She was later killed in the Battle of Hogwarts by Molly Weasley, while she was defending her daughter Ginny Weasley.

Druella Malfoy (OC):

Commonly known as ‘Ella’ by her close friends. She was a sister to Lucius Malfoy and the only daughter of Abraxas Malfoy and his wife. She was sorted into Slytherin House at the age of 11 in 1972. She was never close with her brother due to their seven year age gap. Her birth was a surprise to her parents as well as the rest of the Malfoy family, and as a result she often remained left out of family affairs. Due to this she searched for a form of rebellion which took form in the development of her relationship with Sirius Black and the Order of the Phoenix. She took up a fondness to potions and was an illegal animagus that lurked throughout Hogsmeade village. After her untimely death on October 31st, 1981 it was said that her ghost came back in the form of her animagus which haunts the village to this day.

Narcissa Malfoy nee Black (As Natalie Dormer)

Is a pureblood witch, daughter of Cygnus III and Druella Black, she was the youngest of their three daughters (Bellatrix and Andromeda). She was sorted into Slytherin house and while attending school at Hogwarts she met her future husband, Lucius Malfoy. Despite never becoming a Death Eater she shared many of Voldemort’s political views including that there be blood purity in the Wizard Community. These views shifted when her only child, Draco Malfoy, became endangered. To ensure Draco’s safety she lied to Lord Voldemort about Harry’s death during the Battle at Hogwarts which saved her and her husband time in Azkaban following the conclusion of the Second Wizarding War. She is the grandmother to Scorpius Malfoy and mother in-law to Astoria Greengrass.

Sorted into Slytherin house, Andromeda Black was gifted in charms and was very well versed in household spells, which her husband and daughter lacked. She and her sister Bellatrix Black resemble each other so much so that Harry Potter was taken aback at their similarities. She was disowned by her family when she married a muggle-born wizard, Ted Tonks, together they had a daughter Nymphadora. After the Second Wizarding War, she lost her husband additionally her daughter and son in law were killed leaving their child, Teddy, in her care.

Hermione Jean Granger-Weasley (As Tina Desai)

A muggle born witch born on September 19th, 1979. At the age of eleven she was sorted into Gryffindor House at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She is known as one of the brightest witches of her age to many of her peers and superiors. Her patronus is an otter and she is one of the few witches to ever have temporary possession of a time turner. She married her schoolmate Ronald Weasley and had two children, Rosie and Hugo, she is currently the Department Head for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Hermione also founded the organization S.P.E.W (Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare) from the years 1994-1996. Despite the dissolvement of the organization Hermione still fights for the rights of House Elves in the Wizarding World.

James Potter, an only child, was sorted into Gryffindor House in the fall of 1971 and graduated in the spring of 1978. He was a proud member of the Order of the Phoenix along with his friends Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and his wife Lily Evans. He was an unregistered animagus (Stag) and a chaser for the Gryffindor Quidditch Team. His son, Harry James Potter, is the only known survivor of the killing curse.

Regulus Black (As Colin O’Donoghue)

Younger brother to Sirius Black and son to Walburga and Orion Black. He was sorted into Slytherin House in the fall of 1972 and became a seeker for the Slytherin Quidditch team and a member of the Slug Club. Regulus eventually became a Death Eater during his time at Hogwarts. Regretting the decision after learning what Lord Voldemort would do to achieve his goals he decided to destroy one of Voldemort’s six (seven) Horcruxes. He was killed in 1979 at the age of 18 years old shortly after acquiring Salazar Slytherin’s locket, which he had intended to destroy.
