A Good Night For A Walk

Note : I am so sorry for the amount of emotions you may feel while reading this. I hope you all end up enjoying it though. And yes in this I end up bringing back an old type of demon and I did my research for it to be as accurate as possible. And yes I know that Alec is not a prostitute or anything so he doesn’t fit the victims of this demon from the 1800’s, but this is the only demon sort I could find the most about right now. Also this is like my first time writing a proper hurt/comfort fanfic.   Words : 1175  Ship : Malec (Alec Lightwood x Magnus Bane)  Warnings : Blood, Scratching, Attacked, Mentions of potential death, Slicing, Blood loss  Category : Angst, Hurt/Comfort  <------------------------------------------------------->  Alec was on his night patrol shift, making sure that if he sees any demons they get taken care of. His quiver hanging over his shoulder while his bow was loosely being gripped by his hand that was by his side. Seeing as no demons had been seen for almost two hours he thought there was nothing to worry about for now but of course still tried to keep his guard up.  He kept on walking around and eventually found a pond and thought it’d be nice to squat down for a bit and just enjoy how the water moved and reflected the image of the moon, now standing high up in the sky. The cold night air kept on hitting him in the face, making it easier to stay up along with actively activating the stamina rune he had gotten.  It was all just so peaceful and relaxing. Alec closed his eyes for a second to just enjoy the noises of the night, an action he was soon to regret. Suddenly he was being pushed down onto the grass causing him to by reflex open his eyes back up only to see a little girl with completely black eyes, the girl looked so pale she could be compared to paper. “She looks no older than 5..” The shadowhunter thought to himself.   “Hey..” he began to say in the softest way possible to not scare the girl. But the black eyes seemed to have other plans as she began to scratch his throat, causing a few cuts to form which let some blood drip down, slowly hitting the grass.  Alec was now in full on panic mode, struggling to get the girl's hands away from his throat to try his best to stay alive and not lose too much blood. But when he finally managed to get her hands off of his neck that by now had a few deep cuts that let blood flow, causing the grass beneath him to get soaked in the crimson liquid.  As fast as possible Alec grabbed his bow and put it up to stop the girl from going back to cutting and scratching at his neck. When the girl noticed she wasn’t going to get to go back to her work on the man’s neck she decided to take a different approach and began to stab and cut at his stomach with the freakishly sharp nails. The shadowhunter tried to reach for his arrows but the girl just made a deeper wound making him flinch and want to curl over in pain.  “This is it” he thought to himself as he had noticed how much blood he was losing, his eyes started to roll back as he was accepting the fact the chances of him making it out alive were slim to none. “Alexander!” that voice..Alec recognized it right away, making his eyes open wide in surprise and a newfound hope, it was Magnus.  Magnus used his magic to send the girl flying back and kept her in place in order to be sure she wouldn’t run up to Alec again. Alec noticed and was finally able to grab one of his arrows and shot it at the girl making her dissolve into nothing. As soon as Magnus saw the girl dissolve he ran over to his boyfriend’s side, grabbing his face as carefully as possible.  “Alexander..” Magnus said in disbelief that he had found Alec like this as he looked around him and saw the soaked grass. “Magnus” The shadowhunter said in a weaker voice, almost making him sound strained. “Sshh, shh, w-where’s your stele love?” Magnus' voice started to break, hoping that the iratze rune would help heal at least most of the wounds. Alec pointed towards his pocket and Magnus gave a nod to tell him that he understood.  When Magnus had pulled out the stele he looked for the iratze rune that’s located on the side of Alec’s stomach. Once he found it he dragged the stele over the rune, causing it to get activated. Magnus’ yellow cat eyes were scanning over his shadowhunter’s body and feeling a wave of relief go over him as the scratch marks and deep wounds started to go away. Alec started to sit back up slowly, but he knew he was still going to have to go to the institute to make sure everything is okay.  “Do you think you’re able to stand up and walk a bit?” Magnus asked with caution and caring being evident in his voice. “Y-Yeah” Alec said a bit in a shaky way, still feeling lightheaded and weak from the amount of blood he had just lost. Magnus helped his boyfriend get back up without falling, noticing he’s most likely going to be lightheaded and then he opened up a portal to the institute.  Alec and Magnus walked in to the medbay area and told them what had happened and that they wanted to make sure Alec was going to be okay and if he needed to do something to fully heal since the rune doesn’t make the lost blood return. After a few minutes they were sure that he was going to be okay and that he only needed to think of a few things to make sure his blood sugar would be at the right levels.  The shadowhunter decided to spare his boyfriend’s shower and use the one in his own room in the institute to get rid of the blood stuck in his hair and just all over his body. Meanwhile Magnus waited on his bed. When Alec came back out he had his boxers and a t-shirt on, just wanting to be able to relax a bit. The warlock layed down on the bed now and opened his arms, signaling for the other man to crawl up to him so they could cuddle. The shadowhunter crawled over across the bed and cuddled close to his boyfriend.  Magnus’ left arm sneaked it’s way around Alec’s waist and pulled him closer, to feel that he was really okay and still alive. Alec snuggled himself closer into his warlock’s chest, his hands hugging him closer as well. Magnus’ right hand was entangled in Alec’s now damp hair from taking a shower. The two men layed like that for a few minutes in a peaceful silence, silence was rare to be awkward between the two.  “What were you even doing outside that late?” Alec asked after a bit while drawing circles against Magnus’ shirt. “I decided to go on a walk, I found out that I quite like them” the soft smile was evident in his voice. “Well I guess it was a good night for a walk” Alec said and lightly chuckled to make a bit more light of the situation they had been in. Magnus chuckled lightly as well and said “Yeah, I guess it was indeed a good night for a walk” then he tilted Alec’s head up with his finger and kissed the man who immediately kissed back.

A Morning Together

Note : This is a fanfic I came up with a while ago and if someone has already written something similar to this then I want to say I’m not trying to steal anyone’s ideas, just thought this would be adorable for these two. Words : 989  Ship : Malec (Alec Lightwood x Magnus Bane) Warnings : None  Category : Fluff  <------------------------------------------------------->  Magnus slowly opened his eyes up, letting his eyes get used to the light again. When his eyes had adjusted he could see how a few sun strays danced along the room. As Magnus tilted his head upwards he saw Alec who was still sleeping, He looks so peaceful, he thought to himself as he softly smiled. The warlock couldn’t help but let one of his hands sneak into his boyfriend's hair and start playing with it, earning a sleepy “hmmm” from Alec as he was still asleep.  The two boyfriend’s continued to lay like that for a few minutes until Alec started to shift a bit and slowly open his eyes as he was waking up. Magnus can’t help but to let a light chuckle out at his shadowhunter’s reaction to the bright light greeting his vision and says “Morning”. Causing Alec to look down and be met with his warlock’s hazel eyes as he had his glamour up. The shadowhunter couldn’t help but to let a sleepy smile form it’s way on his face as he said “Hi” with a groggy morning voice. The two of them laid there for a few seconds in silence just enjoying the feeling of waking up together until Magnus sat up and started to drag the sheets off of him as he said “Come on let’s go make breakfast”. He dipped down to peck his shadowhunters lips and then went out the door as he slid on his blue robe leaving his boyfriend in bed to follow him, which he did after stretching his limbs a little and putting on a shirt.  The two of them were now in the kitchen. “Are you sure you want to make breakfast even with your magic?” Alec asked curious as to the sudden eagerness from the man he loved to make breakfast when he could have it done and ready with a flick of his wrists. “With you often having missions late at night or patrol shifts we don’t get to wake up together as much as we’d like to, so before you have to pop off to work today I want to spend as much time with you as possible” Magnus responded with a soft and loving smile. Alec couldn’t help himself from smiling at his boyfriend's words, his smile spreading from ear to ear. “Okay so what did you have in mind for us to make?” the shadowhunter asked in a cheerful tone while still having the smile on his face which a certain man who was looking at him found adorable reminding him of a happy puppy. “How does pancakes sound?” “That sounds good” Magnus could swear he saw Alec jump up a little at the excitement of making breakfast with him as he responded to him. As they started to get the things they needed out and started with the first few steps of the recipe they had found neither of the two boys could contain their wide smiles from actually getting to make breakfast together for the first time, hoping there would be more mornings like this in the future. They had decided that Magnus was going to whisk the batter together and if he needed to take a break or stop Alec would take over. And as Magnus was whisking the ingredients together Alec came up from behind, wrapping his arms around the warlock's waist and resting his head on his shoulder. Magnus let out a soft chuckle at the other man’s affection as he continued to whisk the ingredients into a batter while Alec occasionally left soft kisses on his shoulder through the robe.  After a few minutes Magnus stopped whisking and stretched his arms a bit as he said “I think that’s a nice batter, what do you think?” Alec glanced down at the batter and responded with “Yeah, it looks really good. You did a great job at whisking babe”. Then the shadowhunter moved to grab a pan so they could begin to pour some batter into it. When he had placed it on the stove along with turning the heat up Magnus poured some of the batter they made into it and then moved to grab a spatula.  The sizzling by the batter and the heat in the pan could be heard and all they could do was wait until it was time to turn it over to the other side. While the batter was being made into a firmer form the two men shared a few kisses and hugs. It only took a few minutes for them to use all the batter they had made and plate it up on two plates. “Shall we?” Alec said with a proud smile on his face. “Yes we shall” Magnus said with a smile with just as much pride and happiness as his boyfriend’s.  Magnus was the first to take a bite of their breakfast, humming in approvance making Alec lightly chuckle and ask “Is it good?” and the only response he got was an eager nod from the more flamboyant male. The taller male decided to take a bite as well and the magical man had not been wrong, it tasted amazing. The two boyfriends talked and laughed as they ate their breakfast, it only took a few minutes for their plates to be finished. Alec ended up being the one doing the dishes as Magnus dried them up before putting them away.  Once they were done with the dishes they cuddled up on the sofa, planning on doing so until both of them had to start getting ready. Alec had his head laying on Magnus’ chest, their legs entangled and Magnus’ hands once again playing with the shadowhunters hair while Alec’s hands were wrapped around his boyfriend’s waist. “I love you” Alec said, Magnus who was already looking at him just smiled in the softest way possible and said “I love you too Alexander”.

Ok I have something to say can everyone PLEASE stop writing gay characters like for example Alexander Gideon Lightwood from Shadow Hunters with a female???? Seriously I have seen countless imagines and fanfics where the reader is together with Alec and is a female when it is CANON that Alec is gay. I’m just done with it, 1. Because it is homophobic 2. HE IS GAY NOT STRAIGHT OR BISEXUAL OR ANYTHING ELSE AND YOU CAN’T CHOOSE WHAT SEXUALITY HE HAS WHEN HE HAS MADE IT CLEAR HE IS GAY 3. There are so many other characters out there that are attractet to women so why pick the gay (male) characters and pair them up with females??

Foolish And Desperate

Note : This is an AU from Season 3b Episode 14 when Magnus deals his apartment away to get his magic back, but in this au he has an adopted child that’s a warlock which is the reader in this case. This is gender neutral and where pronouns are involved I will put [Pronouns], I’m re-watching the series and just got this idea and I hope you all like it. <---------------------------------------------------------------------> Magnus had gone to Lorenzo Rey to get his magic back and of course being a little too eager to get his magic back he didn’t even let Lorenzo state the dangers that might come from this nor let him tell him the price for this. Magnus had desperately said that any object that he owned Lorenzo could have and when Magnus had his powers back was when he got to know the price, a price that struck him by surprise. The new high warlock of brooklyn who owned a mansion and his job was to protect and help every warlock in Brooklyn wanted his apartment out of every possession he had.  Magnus abruptly left as soon as he could and opened a portal to the apartment as fast as possible because he knew he had to tell his [child/daughter/son]. He could already tell that this wasn’t going to be a pleasant conversation. When he stepped through the portal and came out at the other end he could hear someone’s voice, his sweet sweet [y/n] was enchanting a necklace for protection. Magnus felt himself smile at the thought of how much his [child/daughter/son] had learnt for the past few years, he was truly proud of [insert pronouns you go by]. But his thoughts were cut off by his mind reminding him that he still had to tell [y/n] the bad news.  He started to walk towards the living room where he had heard [y/n]’s voice come from and as he expected saw [insert pronouns you go by] standing there done with the protection enchantment now wearing the necklace. He wished he could just lie or take the deal back seeing how happy and content his [child/daughter/son] was in this apartment.  “Hi dad!” [y/n] said with excitement and walked up to hug [insert pronouns you go by] adoptive dad. The two hugged one another for a few seconds and when the hug parted both were smiling at each other.  “Hi pumpkin! Have you had fun today?” Magnus asked and lightly chuckled, forgetting about the news he had to spill and just enjoying the moment of happiness.  “Yeah! I just enchanted this necklace for protection!” [y/n] said excited while tugging on the necklace that had been enchanted just now. “Aww, I’m proud of you [y/n]” Magnus said and anyone would have been able to hear how genuine he was being only by hearing his voice.  “Thanks dad, how has your day been?” [y/n] asked. There it was, the question that Magnus’ entire body took as an indicator for it to be time to tell his [child/daughter/son] the news. It felt like the room was spinning for Magnus and he hadn’t even had a martini, maybe this was going to be more difficult than anticipated.  “It’s been great-” Magnus started but got cut off by his voice starting to break a little. He coughed to clear his throat and continued with “I got my magic back” he forced himself to give a small and if [y/n] would look closely it would be evident that it was a stiff and forced smile as if he was holding back the lump forming in his throat.  “That’s great dad! How did you get your magic back?” Magnus felt so bad for the situation he had put both himself and his [child/daughter/son] in without being aware of it until it was too late.  “I went to Lorenzo for help and he only stated his price when the process had already been completed...” Magnus said his voice slowly starting to unwind to his true emotions about the situation as he let his head hang down out of feeling guilty for not asking for the price before going through with it.   “..Well what was the price he wanted for it?” [y/n] asked with uncertainty in [insert pronouns you go by] voice the nerves that were slowly building up from being able to tell how tense Magnus was getting being evident. Magnus took a deep breath and in a low tone as his voice was breaking even more than before he looked up with watery eyes at his [child/daughter/son] looking [insert pronouns you use] in the eyes as he said “The apartment..”. [y/n]’s face went blank with shock as it felt like [insert pronouns you go by] heart was sinking down to [insert pronouns you go by] stomach.  “T-The apartment..?” [y/n] said with a shaky and trembling voice even if [insert pronouns you go by] was trying to hold it back as to not make Magnus feel worse about the situation. All Magnus responded with was a nod as he bit his bottom lip to keep a tiny sob in at the thought of the place where all the memories of teaching, raising and just all the good memories in the apartment with his [child/daughter/son] would soon not be theirs.  “W-where are we going to live now then...?” [y/n] asked still with a shaky voice but knowing that both of them had to figure out what and where to go from here in this situation. Magnus grabbed [y/n]’s hands softly and looked down for a second before looking back up and responding with “I can ask Alec if we could stay at the institute for the time being” he slightly smiled after completing the sentence.  “Okay” [y/n] said with a bit calmer voice then a few seconds ago. Magnus pulled [y/n] in for a hug again and then went away to give Alec a call. He nervously pulled up his favorite shadowhunter’s contact on the screen of his phone and hesitantly pressed call and brought it up to his ear, feeling almost ashamed to tell the man he loved and knew would be there for him in any situation about how he had made a terrible mistake by not hearing the price before going through with getting his magic back.   “Hi babe” Alec’s soft, content and happy voice echoed through Magnus’ mind when he had picked up especially in a moment like this. “Hi pup” Magnus said affected by the lightness in Alec’s voice. “I told you to not try make that a thing” Alec said but his small crooked smile could be heard over the phone which made Magnus chuckle. Then Magnus coughed to clear his throat and to make sure Alec would pay extra close attention to what he was about to say even though he already believed Alec payed attention to everything he said. “I have a situation..” Magnus’ voice was already sounding nervous.   “What situation?” Alec had said matching his boyfriend’s nervousness in his voice over the phone, Magnus knew he had to ask and let him know about the situation one way or the other and he was almost certain he wouldn’t be able to tell him face to face without having to hide how he really felt about the situation.  “I went to Lorenzo for help in getting my magic back, but I didn’t wait to hear the price before it was too late and the price was the apartment..” Magnus said lightly biting at his nail in anticipation to hear his beloved Alexander’s response. “Oh Magnus..” Alec’s voice sounded hurt, full of so much empathy for him and [y/n].  “If it’d be okay could me and [y/n] stay at the institute until we have everything under control and find somewhere else to live?” Magnus asked scared of the possibility of the answer being no meaning they would either have to continue asking people or be homeless for a while which was rather dangerous even if Valentine was gone, his followers weren’t.  “Of course, I’ll come by tomorrow and help you two move your things into my room in the institute and I’ll get a separate bed for [y/n]” Alec responded with. “Thanks Alexander and if we’d start to come in the way then just let us know” Magnus said and Alec didn’t want to start a small argument of how Magnus ever could think he’d be in the way. “Ok, I love you” Alec said and before hanging up the phone Magnus responded with “Love you too”.  <----- The End -----> (P.S If you’d want a part 2 let me know in comments).

Note : Hi everyone so this is my first ever fanfic and this is going to be just a wholesome moment I can see happening after Alec/Alexander Lightwood has had a long day at work as a shadowhunter and when he goes to visit his boyfriend, Magnus Bane, they have a cute date night at Magnus’ place. This is before Alec became head of the institute and before Magnus and Alec got married. Words : 1172 Ship : Malec (Alec Lightwood x Magnus Bane) Warnings : Spoilers, Mentions of getting hurt during battle Category : Fluff  <-------------------------------------------------------> Alec had just gotten back from a mission that was supposed to be easy but more demons than registered from when they were at the institute had been there. The fact that they weren’t prepared for that many demons to show up in such a short amount of time Alec, Izzy, Jace and Clary had struggled to complete the mission without getting bitten. Luckily no one did get bitten, instead they had ended up getting a few scratches.  And all Alec wanted to do now that he had gotten back to the institute to put away his bow and arrows was to go to a special downworlder’s place. So he made his way towards the front door of the institute and was about to walk outside when he heard someone behind him that made him turn around. “Alec, where are you going?” it was Jace, he had used his healing rune to heal the scratches he had gained from the mission. “I’m going to Magnus’” Alec responded and as he said that Jace saw that Alec hadn’t used his healing rune yet so he opened his mouth to comment on it but the words got caught in his throat because Alec beat him to talking by starting to make his way towards the doors again while saying “I have to go now, I’ll talk to you later when I get back”. And with that Alec was finally on his way to Magnus’ place with rather light steps of joy that he would get to spend at least some amount of time with his boyfriend after a day like this. It only took a few minutes for Alec to get to the front door. He took a deep breath just before raising his hand to knock on the door and just a few seconds after he heard footsteps coming from the other end of the door and then the door opened and there he was. Magnus gave Alec a sweet and loving smile as he opened the door further to let him in and then closed the door behind him as they both moved towards each other and shared a short but loving kiss, both of them feeling like their lovers lips were as soft as cotton. When both of them pulled away from the kiss they were smiling at each other as if they were falling in love all over again. Magnus loved to see the pure love and adoration in Alec’s eyes when he looked at him, it made him feel special. “To what do I owe the pleasure of your company tonight?” Magnus asked in his usual sarcastic tone but it had an undeniable amount of love in his voice as he stared into his shadowhunter’s eyes. “I missed you and wanted to just be able to have dinner together” Alec said while softly smiling towards the downworlder before him. Magnus lightly chuckled and said “I’d love to” and they shared another but longer kiss. Magnus’ hand finding it’s way to Alec’s cheek which he allowed himself to melt into it as Alec’s hands wrapped around his boyfriend’s back. When they pulled away Magnus asked “What are you feeling like eating today?” and Alec responded with “Pasta?”. Magnus nodded as a response and snapped his finger making two plates of a beautiful pasta dish appear on a table he made appear with it.  After they were almost done with eating their dinner Alec rolled his sleeves up a little bit, forgetting about the scratches still there from the mission. “How did today’s mission go?” Magnus asked. “It went on for a bit longer than expected because more demons had appeared than what we saw when we were at the institute” Alec answered honestly. But when Magnus was about to look back down at his food to see if he had eaten up or if he still had some of that delicious meal left on his plate, he saw a few scratches left on Alec and his entire body stopped what it was doing and instead reached forward towards his hand.  “When did this happen- Who scratched you Alexander?” Magnus asked with a hint of worry in his voice, even if for a mundane scratches were almost nothing most of the time but in the Shadow World it could mean anything and it hurt for Magnus to see his shadowhunter being hurt and he didn’t understand why he hadn’t activated his healing rune yet. “Oh, uh during the battle we couldn’t manage all of them at times so we ended up getting scratched a few times, nothing too serious actually-” Alec said but got cut off from finishing his sentence by Magnus saying “Are you sure? I mean you did fight demons and yes you might not have been bitten but you still got hurt Alexander”. There was a few seconds of silence before Magnus asked another question “Do you happen to have your stele with you?”. They were looking in each other's eyes and Alec’s response was simple “Yes, I have it with me” and then Magnus inquired with “Would it be okay if I could..hold it for a few seconds?”. “Sure” Alec responded as he handed his stele to his warlock.  As Magnus got handed the stele he started to walk around the table, making his way to Alec and he pulled his shirt up to gain access to his healing rune and activated it making the scars go away and when Magnus saw the scratches disappear he relaxed and kissed Alec’s temple. Alec smiled and grabbed Magnus’ hand and walked to the couch and before sitting down he turned towards Magnus and opened his mouth up to ask a question and Magnus, as always, gave Alec his full attention. “Do you want to cuddle?” was the question that had escaped Alec’s mouth. “Yes” Magnus answered. Alec layed down on the couch firstly and then Magnus laid down, both of them nuzzling up together while getting comfortable and taking in each other's warmth. They laid there quietly for a few minutes, just enjoying laying there with the person they love in their arms while the stars were high up in the sky. Neither of them could phantom how lucky and happy they felt to have one another.  “I love you Magnus” Alec said so softly that it almost came out as a half whisper. “I love you too Alexander” Magnus said as he smiled. A few hours later they both awoke from the sunlight filling the room with light. It seemed like they had both fallen asleep on the couch while cuddling which none of them had a problem with, they just smiled at each other with their morning groggy view. “Goodmorning” Magnus said lightly with pure adoration written across his face. Alec chuckled lightly and responded with the same lightness in his voice, his eyes also matched the amount of love and adoration that radiated off of Magnus when he said “Heh, good morning to you too”. >--- The End —--<
