The Fellowship When I was a kid, my folks basically told me I was a hobbit. I cherish the memory of them reading all these books to me--and I turned around and read them to my little siblings and eventually to my partner! I've drawn and painted a lot for The Hobbit but never The Lord of the Rings, and this ECCC seemed like the right time to debut one!

Hi! I thought I'd post this part of the chapter series III as the first chapter - i.e., Chapter III.1 :) - as an early Christmas gift ( and maybe my own belated contibution to the the Sabezra Life Day celebration ( it's for the Dec.9 portion of the event though, as it's not Christmas-themed :)) )) to the Sabine x Ezra community for being overall, just wonderful. I'm proud to be part of this community :)

( Happily, it turned out that I had enough material to put out a chapter before 2024 rolls in ^_^ Hopefully, I'll get another one out before 2023 leaves us completely )

Anyway, making the art from my previous posts on here certainly has helped me to... Hash out? I don't know if that's the right way to put it, but what I mean is, I've finally laid down the foundations / outline for the rest of this fic ( the end is nigh! ) - after a LOT of research and even a few interviews. I just had to take these past few weeks to get my head and heart in the right place so that I can write out this story in a way that honors these characters ( hopefully ).

Hi there! Long time no... Update for this fic of mine, eh?

Well, life, family, career, work, responsibilities, THE GOOD FIGHT had to be prioritized over it, but I'm back now... AND I'm slowly getting the fire burning again :)

This one is seemingly, relatively minor : I updated this chapter of the fic to include a BRAND-NEW part. Only a few paragraphs and a few lines of dialogue between Sabine and one of the Noti... I'm always interested in world-building, and it turns out that I'm not only like that as a fan, but as a first-time narrative fanfiction writer as well - so, I wrote this new part of this chapter just to flesh out Sabine's stay ( marooned ) on Peridea with Ahsoka just a bit more, but in a meaningful way.

Thank you to anyone who reads this little project, and - for sure, this time - rest assured : there is more to come :)

Fair warning, though - this one is HEAVY, deals with mature ( even unpleasant, repulsive ) themes, and is guaranteed to make your skin crawl ( I know mine did when I wrote it * splashes alcohol generously on skin ( and eyes ) * ) - I really meant it when I said that the Archive Warnings are there for a reason O_O

GOOD ( news? ) 1 : Currently laying out III... I feel so happy ( and honestly? RELIEVED ) that somehow, I managed to finish laying the groundwork, FINALLY, with II.

GOOD 2 : III will be the continuation of I, which I'm pumped to finally start! ( to @tarisilmarwen and @jedimandalorian, your help earlier today / yesterday will no doubt be invaluable! to @illuminatedquill, your insights have been TRULY illuminating! to @alphaofdarkness, I will finish this! :) )

NEUTRAL : III won't come out until 2024 :) Workload is ramping up ( both in my actual work, as well as my technical / academic writing ), and it now needs my full, undivided focus to not let the people under me down :) I'll still work on editing I and II ( that is, II.1, II.2, II.3, II.4, & the this latest one, II.5 ) in the interim as there are a TON of typos, passages to rephrase in order to make things clearer ( because this entire work has basically flown out of my mind these past two months; it needs some taming ), etc, over the holiday season ( nothing major will be changed, though; the story and plot will stay the same - if anything, I might actually add in snippets of details and dialogue, just like I did with I, II.1, and II.2 ). :)

GOOD 3 : I plan to try my hand at making artwork for my fanfic over the holidays. :) It may actually come BEFORE any part of III does. :)

This is a fanwork event week celebrating the Ghost Crew from Star Wars Rebels, AKA the Spectres.

May 25-31, 2024.

No prompts! Just a theme: Tales of the Spectres.

Alllll the backstories! Inspired by the Star Wars animated Tales… series, our theme will focus on the Spectres’ lives before they became a crew, a team, and, in some ways, a family.

Each day of the event will feature works about the day’s Spectre:
