Actually the most important thing for a movie to be is Fun. Not that it has to be happy or have a happy ending (for me, personally, it almost always should but I digress) but even a sad movie has to be Fun. Made with the energy of ‘oh my gosh, we are making a MOVIE and it is going to be SICK guys!!!’

Wrong! This man already had his redemption arc, and redemption arcs ending in death are bs redemption arcs. A good redemption arc has the character living to actually continue that redemption. But also, since he did finish his redemption arc, I’m not saying he won’t die because the trope mentioned is stupid. I just don’t believe it is a useful trope, or true since he has redeemed himself already.

Things that personally have no use existing:

‘Career’ projects (go interview someone! But no one at school! Go have an awkward time asking friends of your parents!)

Assignments that are basically diet trackers at any age, but especially k-12. I was always so embarrassed about it cause i was a picky eater as a kid, ate weird unconventional breakfasts and knew my teachers would be like ‘you should really eat more vegetables’ and i loathed those

doctor’s notes/death certificate to get approved absences. I know most of that is just all talk in the syllabus but still it’s annoying unhelpful etc
