hello! Are you comfortable with nsfw? I'd like to write the reaction about a character who was almost r*aped after a dinner date (by the person he/she went out on a date). So I'd like to ask you what could be the reaction of the victim (I mean once in a safe place, once at home)

Reaction of a character who was almost r*ped:

what they would say to others:

- 'no... i never thought they had those kind of intentions.' - 'please.. just don't touch me right now, please.' - 'i need to have a shower,' - 'i just want to be alone, please,' - 'its nothing against you, i've just had a long night...' - 'they touched me... they actually touched me...' - '...do i want to go to the police?...' - 'i never would have thought, i've known them for so long,' - 'just leave me alone, please.' - 'just go away!' - 'i dont want to be alone right now,' - 'dont leave me' - 'dont hurt me, please.' - 'what... of course im fine...'

how they would react:

- locking themselves in their bedroom - crying themselves to sleep - feeling numb for a while - not wanting to be touched - being paranoid over everyone - not wanting to go out with new people - if it was someone they trusted, they wouldn't know who to trust - they would keep to themselves - wouldn't tell people what happened - would feel like it was their fault though they did nothing wrong - wouldn't tell authorities of what happened/ nearly happened to them - if people thought something was wrong, they'd lie and say it was nothing - space out often - develop PTSD from the event - would never see the person the same anymore - the mention of their name scarred them - wouldn't go to social events - maybe write in a diary of the events in a way to vent - think they're becoming crazy - talking to themselves and reassuring themselves they're okay - washing, lots of washing their skin.

how to gain inspiration for writing! ♡

{these are personal ways how i gained inspiration to write, so hopefully these methods can inspire you too!} - going for walks - this was a main one for me since i love nature and plants and stuff haha. this enables you to allow your surroundings to influence what you write and for some reason this makes my writing more lighthearted. this also is beneficial if you do it at different times or day, good for atmospheric reasons - reading - this is a fairly obvious one, this doesn’t mean reading a whole book. just reading one paragraph of your favourite or even a random book can give you ideas such as setting, structure or even character development - watching things - watching shows/movies that are the same genre of what you’re writing is always a good play. personally, i’m not too fond of watching tv often, but watching kdramas are always good for me especially since i write lighthearted romance. This helps with scenery settings and how characters interact with each other. - use your daily life - though to you, your daily life may seem boring, you can use some aspects of if into a great character. you could use your house as where your character lives or even your friends as characters. if you want your book to be realistic, this is a great starting point if you haven’t got any ideas! - use a prompt - this is more so if you don’t have an idea but you want to write something. this could be your main piece or your side piece to practice your writing! you can find these online and it is a great way to gain inspiration quickly as it’ll most likely give you one sentence and hour imagination does the rest for you!

{don’t be shy to use! }

{this could also be ways to realize your characters care for one another, not just romantic love, but either way, they work!} - small touches between the two that cause tingles up their spines - they share a couple of ways past friendly glances across the room - their gaze always seems to meet, even subconsciously - they just feel happy at the innocent mention of the other name - always manages to bring them up in conversation - always trying to protect their name, especially when they're not there - when they get given nicknames - when the other is always on their mind - they see things they think the other would like/love/appreciate - seeing their relationships with other people - how they treat others - how they feel when something bad happens to the other - they feel safe with them - they're comfortable enough to tell them stuff they don't tell anyone - being able to ramble without feeling like they said too much - comfortable with each other's boundaries - know the way and where the other likes to be touched - is comfortable with either family - knows each other's fav songs/main playlist - talks about their hobbies with each other even if the other isn't fond of them - knows when the other is uncomfortable without saying - knowing exactly what their scent is to a tee - subconsciously grabbing {gently!} them to make sure they're still there
