2023, what bothered you?

This year is coming to an end, definitely this year it’s not going to make the cut as one of my favorite years. But I hope it was yours.

Let’s face it, as much as there was bad things going on there’s always something to be grateful for, take a minute or two to reflex about it, you’ll find something that’s worth to be grateful for.

I let myself down mostly in this year (I feel like it) but along the path, I found the love of my life, I got a promotion at my job and made new friends. As much as there were mistakes, I know this knowledge just will grow me better and I just need to focus myself this new year we have in front of us.

Don’t let yourself down, you got this.

I was once one of those persons who loved the idea of celebrating dates, time periods with your partner with gifts and romantic dates

I was once in a relationship where that idea was crushed apart, because “time wasn’t relevant” and there was no real motive to celebrate with gifts and romantic ideas, so I just leaved it behind, even if it broke my heart

So I moved on that idea, convinced myself it wasn’t relevant, and eventually forgot to remember time lapses

But I’m in a new relationship now and some of the old habits kept by my side and I really forgot about things that excited me (scary)

So I remember my first month of relationship with my new boyfriend. As I said, I forgot about the excitement of commemorating months with your partner because someone mistakenly taught me it is not relevant.

He gave me one of the most beautiful flower arrangements I’ve seen and kissed me lots saying how happy he has been in this very first month and how much he hoped we keep this going and I suddenly cried inside not because he has done something bad

I cried because of how blind I was with myself, how could I even forgot something I liked so much and how I allowed myself to not enjoy something I truly liked

The right person will do right
