the new netflix persuasion adaptation (if it can even be called that) really opens up conversations about how hollywood has this persistent urge to girlboss-ify every female character and turn her into this smirking, quirky persona all while dumbing down stories into renditions that tiktok could’ve curated and taking away the entire purpose of a plot-line under the guise of it being a “feminist” retelling, when that feminism is just rooted in what hollywood BELIEVES it to be…….and if anyone criticizes it, they get accused of being an austen ‘purist’ like i am sorry for having a single expectation?????

also dakota johnson has a face that knows about iphones and there was no chemistry or yearning so it failed from day one goodbye

asking them for help in math (aot)

the idea of levi teaching me math makes me want to cry. he is not very patient and wouldnt even say yes in the first place. if he does agree be ready to soak your paper in tears.

hange would not be a good tutor. enthusiastically says yes but gets distracted the entire time and doesnt help you at all.

erwin doesnt have unlimited patience. he can be chill for a while. but soon enough he will make you cry. will apologize. but you do get the work done so it wasn’t that bad. dad vibes.

zeke will just laugh at you probably. call you stupid. wont help you.

the only person id trust with my bad math skills is mikasa because i think shes patient enough that she can run you through a problem and actually teach you how to do it.

armin is great. he would think youre stupid. but hed help you.

eren would make fun of you to cover up that he also cant do math lmao.

jean and connie would make fun of you probably. call you a dumbass. but they both suck at math anyways so why would you ask them for help.

would annie even help you ? no. probably not. she would tell you to google the answers. if she did decide to help she would just give you the answer and not tell you how to do it.

reiner is a sweetheart but i dont think he has endless patience. after a while he would just stare at you and say “how do you not get this”.

sasha cant do math.

bertholdt ran away as soon as you approached him. good luck setting up a study date.
