An Announcement

Hi! This was kind of hard to decide, but ultimately i think it would be for the best.

Anyone who actually reads this blog, don't worry, I'm not deleting it! What i have decided to do is make a second blog- Belladonna Project V2.

The main reason for this is because i have fleshed out the characters i've already posted more than i have made public, and also because my writing style has changed a fair bit. That last part may not be obvious, as i haven't posted the story yet, but i think because of this it would be good to start fresh.

It will essentially be the exact same thing, just better quality and hopefully with more frequent updates :)

I am a college student, so can't promise that i won't do my usual of multiple posts in a day, then a couple weeks break. But since i decided to do this, i have a fair amount of character profiles already clear to post. The character profiles will still be my first concern, then i will be posting my usual introduction fun posts, plus my lore for character races and the addition of locations!

Also since i have taken a break, i have added a few more things to the project, so please look out for those.

I will not be taking down any of my posts, i will simply be linking the V2 blog in both the description and a reblog to this post :)

Sorry if this is disappointing/ inconvenient, i would just rather raise the quality of what I'm writing from a new starting point than delete all my posts and lose the interactions i've had.

Plus, it can work as a kind of comparison. This blog was the beginning, and this new blog is the revised version!

If you mean like alternate dimensions, then yes, I find it fun to read about or watch on YouTube! Although the only series I really know is the SCP explained animations and a few analog horror series

her and Karina are great friends, and will exercise together when not teaching, usually running laps

the butterfly nets are a permanent inclusion to class whenever they are handling the rabbits; they make catching escaped bunnies a bit easier (unless the student did it on purpose, then they have to catch it by hand)

Name: Pandora Kristania Character base: tarot cards Position: divination teacher Subjects taught: basic divination, astrology + moon magic Age: 26 Gender: female (she/her) Sexuality: pansexual Height: 5ft 10 Eye colour: pink Hair colour: blonde and pale blue mix Likes: collecting tarot decks, handing out tea leaf guides, encouraging students to cleanse both their crystals and tools by moonlight, having playdates between hers and Headmistress Selene’s mothpup (hers is called Fuzzball) Dislikes: having to explain that it would be impossible to explain everything astrology related in one class, students who don’t respect the cards, having to pick Fuzzball up off of students’ heads during class (they don’t mind, but she feels it’s better to have him on their laps instead) Homeland: the Glass City Hobby: doing tea readings for people Talents: all of her readings are scarily accurate, no matter what form they take, and she carries them out incredibly calmly and reassuringly Magic path: divination & astrology

her mothpup, Fuzzball, is much bigger than some others as he's part hawkmoth, which also makes it kinda ridiculous when he decides to land on student's heads during class (lap cuddles still work though)

she specialises in both tea reading and tarot reading, but her tea readings are more common around school, and she made a pretty extensive symbol guide that she hands out copies of

she works very closely with the moon whenever she uses spells or other practice forms, and encourages students to do the same

out of all the parts of astrology she teaches, the Zodiac systems are her favourite

Name: Salem Character base: spirit-settler (he helps disturbed spirits find peace) Position: spirit and realms teacher Subjects taught: spirit communication, demonology Age: 23 Gender: male (he/him) Sexuality: bisexual Height: 6ft 1 Eye colour: lilac Hair colour: lavender Likes: keeping spirit logs, dedicating one evening a week to pay respects to every spirit he has met, teaching students safety tricks when working with spirits or contacting demons, summoning demon animals (he promotes that over humanoid demons if students insist on summoning), teaching students how to find/use common scrying materials Dislikes: being called a medium (he doesn’t put families in contact with spirits- he simply helps the spirits themselves rest), having to bail students out of almost making demonic contracts, being asked about his history with the Goat Homeland: Lavender Town Hobby: he's working on a book of spirits/entities and demon identification Talents: he is incredibly experienced with spirit work, and has an impressive track record in his other job of keeping peace among them Magic path: spirit work, divination, peace & healing magic

he's one of the youngest people known to work with spirits regularly and closely- even for a Lavender Town resident who grew up with them

he keeps logs of every spirit he has communicated with, and then pays respects to them every week- even if he only spoke with them once and never again

it's his classes that made demon animal pets popular; he says they're safer to summon than humanoid demons, but still had to explain to Headmistress Selene that no, the flying horned cat was not dangerous

he's never confirmed it himself, but a lot of students think that he can see spirits with his bare eyes- mostly due to their colour being pale lilac (almost white) and seemingly always looking past people

Name: Gwinifer Rivers Character base: forest healer Position: home skills teacher Subjects taught: foraging basics + toxic plants, cooking, potions Age: 28 Gender: nonbinary (they/them) Sexuality: nblm Height: 5ft 10 Eye colour: brown Hair colour: pastel mint-green Likes: their vegetal scarecrow-helper (he’s called Jack and he stands watch over their patch of the school garden), collecting bones, growing forest herbs to make tea, sharing tips on where to get/gather potion ingredients, teaching students how to make filling meals such as stew and meat pies, having students choose the class recipes they want to learn (majority vote wins) Dislikes: misplacing their belt, having to reorganise their storage chest (it takes forever), people assuming they're a death witch because of their animal skulls Homeland: Redpine Forest Hobby: cleaning and reassembling animal skeletons Talents: they can create vegetal helpers with ease, as evidenced by Jack Magic path: forest magic, kitchen magic, & enchantments

they come from a line of forest healers, and currently live with their mother and grandmother hidden in the Redpine Forest; they make a good living selling potions and medicine to the surrounding settlements, and Gwinifer sends letters via owl when they're away for a while

their hobby is rebuilding animal bones, and so a lot of people mistake them for a death witch when seeing them, which isn't necessarily bad, just annoying having to repeat over and over again that they're not

they have some great recipes taught by their mother, which they now teach in class; the chicken pie and stew with dumplings are the most popular on showcase days

their vegetal scarecrow, Jack, is quite protective over the gardens but can usually be calmed down by bell music or with a visit from the baby vegetals

she is the school's 'official-unofficial' grandmother, to the students and anyone who wants some company (especially if they like puzzles)

her rose bushes aren't just in the gardens, she has two large bushes in her classroom too; along with other plants of course

she always has a pen in her pocket, usually brightly coloured in pink or blue, so that she can solve puzzles wherever she finds them

the butterflies around the school love her, and she usually has a few on her shoulders if she's outside, and several on her classroom windows when she's inside

he gets a bit overprotective of his belongings, specifically his desk and the things on/in it (he always apologises if he gets a bit snappy though)

his rune-stone sets are all custom made for him, and he makes little pouches for them that he then shares with students who have a set special to them but no bag

as Headmistress Selene allows school visitors, Dolores often calls her husband in to help teach about specific items- usually ones they either have, or have a replica of

her husband is adored by the students and they often refer to him as 'Peter Pan', since he's always having fun and making them laugh (although Dolores would rather he stop pulling faces behind her back)

she's very knowledgeable on historical events, as you'd expect, and can often add little stories or bonus facts when going over a textbook

one thing that really makes her day outside of students paying attention, is being asked about what book she's reading; she goes through so many, she always has recommendations for everyone!

I wanted to make fanart of multiple characters, but I started with him because I thought it was so sweet that he liked lemons so I gave him one he can eat with a straw :)

Saw your repost and I love the mood board you made for jumpy!!! 🩷🩷❤️❤️🩷❤️🩷

It inspired me to actually try and draw jumper in his human form (always struggled to have a visual for it since in my head he is just a cursed bunny doodle 😭🫶)

*Also I had this random idea where his broom is named Belinda (as in like a brand name like "Be Linda!™" cause "linda" is also "clean" in spanish I think?) but he uses it as a real name for it like "look at all the mess these kids make, Belinda! Can you believe it!?" kinda random lol

I'm glad you like the moodboard, and I love the little grumpy face doodles, they're adorable (and I know he'd hate to hear that haha 😅)

His broom is now named Belinda, and is able to shout words like 'Clean up!' 'Tidy' and 'No dirt!', but isn't overly fond of being used to swat at students 😂

he currently has four fox kits and two adult foxes: two red fox kits named Carrot and Radish, one grey fox kit named Dust, one marble fox kit named Coffee, one adult silver fox named Midnight, and one adult silver marble fox named Granite (the majority of his room is dedicated to them)

the other students are always giving him positive words to make him feel better about, in his words, 'not being a true garden witch' (they gift him fake plants too, cause they know he stresses over real ones despite loving them)

he once tried microwaving eggs for his kits, and soon found out that it doesn't end well; everyone now references it if he's in the dorm kitchen

he struggles sometimes with putting too much pressure on himself, so once a week he writes a letter to Kaitlin for her to read and write back her advice (he feels too awkward talking about it face to face)

Name: Rosemary Grey Character base: garden/herb witch Year: 5th year Age: 17 Gender: female (she/her) Sexuality: pansexual Height: 5ft 5 Eye colour: grey Hair colour: dark brown Likes: keeping her herbs organised by labelled trays, the scent of lavender, baking- specifically herb breads and cookies, her giant squirrel companion (he’s called Pine), sharing recipes with the Brewpaws students (they really wanted her Lavender cookie recipe, so she traded it for the Lemon Drizzle Cake recipe), growing extra lavender for Meadow Dislikes: how clingy Pine is (not all teachers let him in class with her), the arguing over who gets how much of her rosemary tear-and-share bread (that’s mainly with the first years), not realising she has herb sprigs caught in her hair Homeland: Floralia Way Hobby: baking Talents: she keeps hers, and the schools, plants very very organised and nicely arranged (she’s an organiser in the gardening club) Magic: garden magic & minor kitchen magic

a lot of people still haven't got used to seeing a squirrel like Pine; he's very much used to people though and greets anyone who scratches his ears with a kiss to the fingers

her lavender cookies are as famous around the school as Planchette's cinnamon-butterscotch pie, and she ended up sharing the recipe with the Brewpaws students after a month of begging

another famous recipe of hers is her rosemary tear-and-share that the first years go nuts for (she refuses to give any if they start fights over it though)

she labels every herb and spice she grows; she also labels and plans the layout of the school's gardening club
