To the three kings: I just realized something but do we know ANYTHING about Rhea's life prior to marrying Kronos?

Your paternal lineage is well known but what about Rhea? her parents? Does she have any siblings?

Like all we know abut her past is that she was a fertility goddess which is why Kronos married her but nothing else about her life or family prior

Zeus: well, i've heard stories of course, but since i never got to meet her personally, it's hard for me to actually make an image of her or her past.

Poseidon: yeah, mom was the best. I can't remember much about her since i was a kid when i got gobbled, but thinking 'bout her makes me feel cozy inside.

Hades: actually... i think she never got to mention much about her past when i was with her...

Hades: it's like she wanted to focus on ME instead and appreciate my own life. She spoke about the primordial gods and the titans, but i never got to know if she knew any of them as blood sibllings or progenitors.

Zeus: yeah, that's weird. We know for sure Kronos was born from Gaia an Uranos, but what about Rhea? Was she born? Did someone created her? Did she just originated on the world by herself? Guess we'll never know...

Poseidon: maybe Gaia and Uranos had her and our parents were actually siblings!

Hades: ...

Ever thought what would it be like if Loki ever dared to interact with Hades' Brothers?

Oh well, yes I did! (so sorry for the late response :( life been busy)

Well, Loki wouldn't really dare to interact with zeus or poseidon because he's quite scared of them. Zeus controlling thunder he's in the eye of the trickster like a Thor, but a Thor who has even more reasons to be violent with him. Since Loki is the blood-brother of Odinn he's at the same time dangerous for Lore Olympus but also, could be leverage against Asgard.

Loki would be pretty tame if he's surrounded by Hades brothers but wouldn't hesitate to snark back at them- before running away.

He could fight them, he's a strong trickster but since I've always seen their interaction inside Olympus, I don't think he would be that reckless.

I like the idea that Asgard and Olympus aren't exactly on best terms with each other, so having a trickster norse god wondering around isn't really welcomed. They don't mind them in the mortal realm but unless they're explicitly invited, both sides don't want to hang out with each other.

Also, in one of my headcannons, norse gods dress up a bit like bikers and have none of that classy attitude you see in Olympus. So they clash very easily. Especially since in many myths I've read, norse gods have NO CHILL when insulting each other (those who've read the Lokasenna knows what I'm talking about).

Thoughts on Minthe

I have seen a lot of people compare Minthe, from Lore Olympus, with Apollo in terms of villainy, but I don't think it's accurate.

On some level, I recognize the connection they're making: they're both truly awful people with an overblown sense of entitlement who don't know how to accept that no means no.

However, there's a slight difference between them in terms of conscience that actually makes me equate Minthe more with Apollo's father, Zeus.

Yeah, this obnoxious dic...tator who doesn't know the meaning of self-restraint or fidelity.

However, the difference between him and Apollo, and the thing that he has in common in Minthe, is that both of them have just enough self-awareness to realize that they're crappy people, but it's not enough to actually make them change (see Episode 94 and Episode 76 for reference).

Whereas Apollo...

...Pretty sure that dude's a representation of a sociopath.

You know who his closest parallel is, though?

Thetis.

The manipulative, shameless homewrecker who doesn't care who she hurts to get what she wants.

She and Apollo would be a match made...somewhere.

And unlike both of them, Thetis is actually making an effort to change and better herself, and while she's still got a long way to go towards being a good person, I feel a lot more sympathy towards her.

You go, girl.
