Twenty Years Ago
ghost adventures crew x original character
a short from a book in progress on wattpad that is currently untitled
My name is Zak Bagans I've never believed in ghosts until I came face to face with one. So I set out on a quest to capture what I once saw onto video. With no big camera crews following us around, I am joined only by my fellow investigator Nick Groff and our equipment tech Aaron Goodwin. The three of us will travel to some of the most highly active paranormal locations, where we will spend an entire night, being locked down from dusk until dawn. Raw. Extreme. These are our Ghost Adventures.
"Okay folks, we are on location at what is supposed to be the most haunted inns in all of the west," Zak Bagans introduces, standing in front of said inn as he speaks to the camera that is in Aaron Goodwin's hand. "We are at the Marigold Inn, a harmless name for what is supposed to be littered with ghosts, and even possible demonic entities."
"Next to me is the daughter of the owners, Isla Adair, who kindly offered to give us a tour and fill us in on the hauntings and history of the building," The raven haired male introduces, waving to the woman next to him, standing with the largest smile as she waves in Aaron's direction, making all three men join in smiling. The copper haired woman, Isla, then taps her the microphone clipped to her shirt.
"Testing, testing," She jokes, "Sorry, just had to check. You're all going to want to hear what I have to say," She assures, Zak raising his brows.
"Is that so?" Zak questions cheekily, smirking.
Returning the smirk, Isla tilts her head just the slightest bit to the side.
"Oh it's so."

#13DaysofGA2021 -- #6: Paranormal/Supernatural (with Nakota!Fam)
SUMMARY: Nick and Zak prepare to celebrate Yule as warlocks, but also in preparation for a very important day-- Dakota’s Ascension. Introducing a new member to the Nakota!Family. RATING: Teen/Mature
Black smoke swirled around Zak’s arms (his black dress shirt pushed up to his elbows) as he shut his eyes, mumbling words beneath his breath. Across from him, his husband was doing the same thing, but white smoke swirled around his well-dressed form instead. The smoke combined in a dull grey at the center, and electrical sparks started to fly out of the center of their combined powers.
In the distance, a huge bang caused both men to freeze, and the smoke collapsed onto the floor, as they looked toward the door of the massive room they were in, heavily decorated in pine and cranberries and other Yule decorations. A minute later, both warlock men watched as their young son fell through the door with his friends. They piled on each other as the heavy wooden doors swung on their hinges, complaining loudly. Each boy was in various states of regular and warlock clothing, but in their hair was woven pine.
“Dakota?” Zak took a step forward with a cocked eyebrow, “What the hell are you doing down here?”
“You should be preparing for you Ascension, young man,” Nick furrowed his eyebrows and gave his son a pointed glare.
The young warlock sheepishly stood up from the pile, as his friends quickly scrambled to present themselves nicely to their warlock covens’ leaders, “Sorry, Dad and Papa. We just wanted to watch you guys call forth the Spirit...”
Zak’s frown turned to a soft smile, remembering how he was exactly like this during his Ascension, but Nick was still frowning, “You know you shouldn’t be here. It’s bad luck for your powers.”
“Oh come on, Papa,” Dakota tried to reason with his oldest father, “You don’t really believe--.”
“Enough,” Nick was stern, “Regardless, you shouldn’t be here. Where is your sister? She should be helping you with your robes. You’re ascending a midnight tonight.”
‘Okay...,” Dakota sighed, running a hand through his long brown hair, “Chels is upstairs...,” and then mumbled something.”
“What was that?” Nick pursed his lips, doing a quick glance over each of Dakota’s friends who seemed to crawl into themselves deeper.
“We locked her in my closet,” Dakota inhaled sharply, preparing himself for a punishment.
“My gods, Dakota,” Nick started to laugh and so did Zak.
Dakota looked at his father’s with a confused expression, “Huh?”
“He really is so much like you,” Nick turned to his husband as Zak rolled his eyes, coming up to stand beside the other man, grasping their hands together. Sparks flew at their touch. Dakota was used to the physical magical manifestation of their love, and he hoped that he would find someone some day to share in that.
“Go prepare, Dakota,” Zak nodded to their son, “And tell Chelsea that when she is done helping you that we need her assistance down here.”
“Yes, Dad,” Dakota smiled softly at the other man and then turned to his friends, “Come on, assholes.”
And the group was gone from the room.
Nick raised his hand and with a flick of his wrist, the doors swung close. Beside him, Zak let out a breathy noise, “I will never get over how hot you are when you use your magic.”
Nick smiled wickedly, turning to face his husband. Their noses caressed each other, “Remind me, love.”
Zak smiled as he pressed his lips to Nick’s, groaning lightly as the other man nipped at his bottom lip. Fingers flew into Nick’s hair, gripping it tightly, wanting to be so lost in the feeling around Nick. But, Nick pulled away, exhaling, and pressing his forehead to Zak’s, “We better stop or we won’t have time to prepare for the Spirit to join us and grant Dakota his full powers.”
“Do you remember when you got yours?” Nick asked softly.
Zak nodded, “You looked magnificent that night. I thought I was going to mess up my lines when I saw you in the crowd. Thank the gods Aaron was there to bring me out of my trance.”
Nick laughed softly, “I thought you were going to jump me in the middle of the ceremony.”
Zak growled lightly, “Oh how I wanted to,” and pulled Nick possessively into him, pressing another kiss to his lips.
Nick reached up into Zak’s hair, yanking on it, making Zak hiss as his head was pulled away from his husband. Nick smirked. Feeling the need to give into his desires for his husband, Nick held back, knowing it was the magic in the air of the Spirit coming to join them. Instead, he gave a long lick to Zak’s neck, pressing a kiss to Zak’s cheek, “Careful, love. This is Dakota’s night, not ours.”
Zak rolled his eyes as Nick let go of his grip on Zak, “Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay,” and stepped away from his husband to take his place again in the middle of the room, “Shall we start again?”
Nick smiled softly as Zak raised his hands to form black smoke between them. He did the same, white smoke falling from his finger tips to join Zak’s and electricity crackled between them. The Spirit was amongst them a few minutes later.

Safe - (Ghost Adventures Crew x Reader)
Request: How about a platonic GAC x non-binary reader, where R is like the younger sibling of the group and all the guys are super overprotective of them, and so like the R is very much an empath and when they are investigating an old hospital R is hit by an overwhelming amount of residual emotions that they like start sobbing and trying to explain to the guys what happened there (the hospital). If you're not feeling this request I get it - mildly annoyed dragon
Author's Note: Thank you for the request, mildly annoyed dragon! I hope you enjoy.

Being a member of the Ghost Adventures Crew has been a thrill. Like them, you enjoy working to uncover the mysteries of the paranormal. On top of that, you’re an empath. So, having you on the team is nothing but helpful in the discovery of proof. You met the group when you overheard them talking about a haunted house in your hometown. They were discussing the need to find more information. You lived in the neighborhood of the house and decided to fill them in on what you knew. That fateful day, they asked you to join their investigation. You gleefully, albeit nervously, accepted their offer. And the rest is history.
Now, you’re a valued member of the crew. The boys adore you and you’ve become a younger sibling to them. With your adoption into their family, came the overprotectiveness. It was sometimes annoying, but you also understood their nature. This line of work comes with risks. It also serves as a reminder of their love and care. Overall, it’s definitely worth it.
Right now, you’re in the midst of a lockdown. The location is an old hospital that stopped operating in the 50s. Many inhabitants died in these rooms; their bodies riddled with disease not yet curable. Suffering is the main thing you’ve felt throughout this investigation. It’s been bearable so far until it suddenly becomes more.
You walk down the corridor, Nick and Zak in front of you, Aaron behind you. Each of you has cameras grasped in your hands, using them as your eyes. Zak drones on, asking the spirits questions, mildly provoking. Then he halts in the middle of the hallway, turning to face you, Nick, and Aaron.
“I’m going to start an EVP session,” he announces. “Make sure your visual and audio are good. Be alert.” Zak starts the digital recorder, the red light signaling it’s ready. All of you stand where you’ve stopped, surveying the surrounding rooms. You tune Zak out, focusing on the task at hand. You freeze, feeling a breeze shift in the still air.
“Guys,” you warn. “I’m feeling a cold wind around me.” Nick rushes to you, sticking his arm out near you.
“Yeah, I feel it too,” he confirms. Aaron and Zak don’t move from their spots.
“Who’s around Y/N right now?” Zak asks.
“Whoa, Y/N, an orb just flew into you,” Aaron says. At that exact moment, you a wave of sadness and pain engulfs you.
“Ah!” you gasp. The camera in your hand clatters to the floor. Your back collides with the wall behind you and you slide down it. Nick, Aaron, and Zak panic at your collapse. Their commotion falls on deaf ears. You’re so overwhelmed by the emotion flowing through you, their voices are nothing but white noise. Nick, who is closest to you, reaches out and gently grabs your arms.
“Aaron, turn on your flashlight!” he commands. The man does as he’s told. When the light shines on you, they see your visible distress.
“They’re crying!” Nick shouts. Zak practically shoves Nick out of the way and hands him the recording device. He cradles your face in his hands, moving you to look at him.
“Y/N! Can you hear me?” he questions. You don’t answer, continuing to breathe heavily. He removes his hands from your face and places them on your shoulders, lightly shaking you. The sudden motion releases you from your state. You stare wildly at the men in front of you.
“Hey, hey, hey, what happened?” Zak wonders, concerned. You blink slowly, concentrating on catching your breath before answering.
“I-I felt this wall of emotion hit me,” you explain. “A patient’s residual sadness and-and anguish. I felt it take over me and I guess I needed to sit down.”
“Are you okay now?” Aaron speaks. You nod up at him. Zak extends a hand towards you and you let him help you up. The three of them give you a round of hugs, expressing their relief.
“I’m okay. I’m okay,” you smile.

okay so i know it’s 2019 but like i’ve been re-watching old ghost adventures episodes and hear me out here but like...
what about a zak/nick youtube resident evil 7/blair witch au
like maybe it starts off like a buzzfeed unsolved episode where they’re just small time ghost hunters with a youtube channel and their cameraman aaron and they go to a location in some small town in bumfuck nowhere
they go in the daytime at first of course to talk about the lore and the rumors and go over possible theories and get b-roll footage. stuff like that. it’s just a forest. the trees are thin and tall and it’s late summer, just beginning to look like autumn. the air is warm but a light cool rain seems almost constant as they continue to film.
they get dinner somewhere in town, some old fashioned diner where they interview a few of the locals and hear some stories that leave them kind of rattled.
they go back at night for the actual investigation and it seems pretty routine at first, just night noises and the soft pattern of raindrops falling on the leaves above them. a few hours in and they find an old cabin, dark and clearly abandoned. the windows are shattered, glass edges jagged like teeth and the door is crooked on its hinges, beckoning.
they decide to check it out.

#25DaysofGA2018 | Day 12 | Ghost of Christmas Past Like every year, he wandered the cold, empty hallways, gripping a crystal sphere in his hands filled with a dear memory, meant to be locked out of his mind...for eternity. Every year around Christmas he made his way to a room filled with enchanted mirrors, playing the many memories he gave up on a loop in a desperate attempt to ease the pain carried by his broken heart.  Once a year, he shatters one sphere on an empty mirror, locking away the memory confined within...for good! Would he come back to this place once he rid himself of every memory or would it just be another room full of ghosts of the past?  ---------------------------

Best Horror TV Shows on Hulu
https://ift.tt/3k8nTTO
You thought movies were the only place to get your daily dose of horror? Oh you fool! You absolute FOOL! There are plenty of bingeworthy and scary horror TV shows out there and Hulu just happens to be a great place to find them.
Hulu is home to recent hits like The Terror and Castle Rock but there are still more scares to be found for the horror enthusiast willing to dig deep. Gathered here are some of the best and scariest horror TV shows that Hulu has to offer.
Editor’s Note: This post is updated monthly. Bookmark this page and come back every month to see the additions to the best horror TV shows on Hulu.
Updated for October 2020
The Terror
Based on a 2007 book of the same name by Dan Simmons, The Terror season 1 tells a fictionalized account of Captain Sir John Franklin’s expedition to the arctic in 1845. In real life, the doomed men likely got lost and succumbed to the cold but the show asks “what if there was something more sinister than low temperatures lurking about?”
The Terror features a cast impressively full of “hey it’s that guy” guys like Jared Harris, Ciarán Hindis, and Tobias Menzes. It deftly turned itself into an anthology with the second season The Terror: Infamy that tells a ghost story within the setting of a Japanese interment camp in World War II.
American Horror Story
Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story is revolutionary in quite a few ways. Not only did it help usher in a renewed era of anthology storytelling on television, it also was arguably the first successful network television horror show since The X-Files.
Like all anthologies, American Horror Story has its better seasons (season 1 a.k.a. Murder House, season 2 a.k.a. Asylum, season 6 a.k.a. Roanoke) and its worse (season 3 a.k.a. Coven and season 8 a.k.a. Apocalypse). Still, for nine years and counting, American Horror Story has been one of the go-to options for TV horror fans.
Castle Rock
Stephen King properties have made their way to television before. There have been miniseries for classic King texts like The Stand and ‘Salem’s Lot and even full series for works like Rose Red and Under the Dome. Still, none of those series has had the audacity to adapt multiple aspects of the Stephen King universe itself…until Castle Rock.
Castle Rock takes multiple characters, storylines, and concepts from the vast works of Stephen King and puts them all in King’s own Castle Rock, Maine. The first season featured inmates from Shawshank prison, extended family of Jack Torrance, and maybe even a touch of the shine. The show opened itself up for more storytelling possibilities in season 2, adopting an anthology format and bringing Annie Wilkes into the fold.
The Twilight Zone
The Twilight Zone is an all-time television classic for good reason. Join Rod Serling each episode for a new tale of mystery, horror and woe.

The Strain
The most novel thing about FX’s vampire horror thriller The Strain is how it equates the ancient fear of vampirism with the more modern, global fear of pandemic. The Strain, produced by Guillermo del Toro Chuck Hogan and based on their novel series opens with a flight landing with all of its passengers mysteriously dead.

The Strain lasted for four mostly decent seasons on FX and if nothing else helped re-embrace the vampire as a monster and not some sort of noble antihero.
Stan Against Evil
To parody horror, one needs to love horror. And Stan Against Evil creator Dana Gould really, really, really loves horror. The longtime standup comedian and comedy writer brings his unique humor sensibilities and lifelong appreciation of horror to tell the story of a quaint New Hampshire town that just happens to be built on the cursed site of a massive witch burning.

Beyond Living Ch. 2
Tag List: @sarcasmandthirsting101
Pairing: OC x Zak Bagans
Ch. 1 - feedback is always appreciated!
Tumblr media
The flight to the lockdown location went as good as any other flight. While I was told the guys usually packed up their van and drove from place to place I’d have to get myself to St.Augustine to meet up with them and start my first day. From there I would be travelling with them for the rest of the investigations of the season. It wasn’t required,of course. It was just easier. They would do a few investigations, come home to review the footage and edit it themselves before having a break and starting up again. I was shocked that the guys edited their own footage. I would have thought some big shot editing team did it. It was kind of nice knowing they put the work themselves.
As soon as I was landing at the airport I was nervous. I was told someone would be there to come and get me. I figured a cab already paid for but I found I was very wrong. When I got my bag and headed towards the pickup area I stopped short. There stood the familiar figure and face of none other than Nick Groff. Sunglasses set on his face and looking around. When he spotted me a small smile appeared on his face and he waved. Okay,it looked like it was starting. I smiled back and walked over.
“Liv McGuinness?” Nick asked, pushing his sunglasses up to the top of his head.
“That’s me.” I answered and took his outreached hand, shaking it.
“I’m Nick Groff. It’s a pleasure.” He said and I chuckled.
“Introduction wasn’t really needed,Nick. It’s nice to meet you though.” I said and reached out to stop him when he took my bag.
“I got it,don’t worry. We’re kinda strapped right now.” Nick said, opening the back of the van and hefting my bag into it. “Aaron and Zak are already at the location waiting on the people to interview. We outta get there so we don’t miss anything.” He explained as he shut the doors.
I immediately got into the passenger side of the van while Nick hopped in the driver’s seat and started up the van. At first we didn’t speak and I could feel the awkward radiating off of Nick.
“So...have you been investigating before?” Nick finally asked, the silence probably too much for him.
“Uh yeah kinda. I’m not gonna lie I’m probably going to trip and walk into a bunch of things in the dark.” I laughed and Nick cracked a small smile.
“Hey don’t worry about it. We all did it too. Hell,we still do! You’ll have a camera though. Just use the view finder to get around and if anything you’ll have a flashlight.”
“So,I will be investigating alongside you guys? I never was...really told what I’d be doing. I was just told they wanted another person in the group and they were glad I’m a woman.”
“Yeah, the network thought we oughta have another pair of hands. The female part might just be them wanting...diversity? Honestly all we were told was what Billy told us about you. We could use another person on Lockdown with us.”
“Well I’m glad I won’t just be milling around then. I rather keep busy.”
Nick laughed and shook his head. “Oh Zak will keep you busy.” He said and I looked at him.
I couldn’t help but feel uneasy by what Nick said. He seemed so amused. It made me think of my former manager. Who groped me whenever he felt like and bossed me around like I was a 50′s housewife. Was it possible Zak was the same way? That on camera he seemed normal while he was actually an ass? I guess it was possible for anyone really.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Driving up to the fort was...interesting. I had never been to a fort before. I pushed my sunglasses down from the top of my head to rest on my face as I stepped out of the van. I could see Zak and Aaron prepping to start their interview.
“There he is!” Aaron called,”What took so long,G?”
“I ran into some traffic picking up our new comrade!” Nick yelled back as he grabbed his camera from Aaron’s outreached hand. Nick turned back, motioning me closer. I moved closer and Nick turned to Aaron. “Aaron this is Liv,try not to freak her out.” He introduced.
Aaron had a kind face and seemed ever so much the goofball he normally was. He grinned and held his hand out, shaking mine enthusiastically as he told me he was glad I was joining the team because he was getting bored of Nick and Zak.
Zak excused himself from the man he was talking to and walked over. “Zak! Come play nice!” Nick teased as the host of the show walked up to us.
Zak smiled at me and held his hand out. “Hey! Zak Bagans, nice to meet you.” He said, looking down at our hands when I took his hand and shook it.
“Nice to meet you Zak. I’m excited to work with you guys.” I smiled and let go of his hand. I noticed when Zak’s hand dropped to his side he extended his fingers out like he was stretching before clenching into a fist...weird.
“Then let’s get started. For now,Liv,you won’t have a camera just listen to the interview and place any X’s down.” Zak instructed and Aaron handed me a roll of tape to make the X’s with for the cameras.
With that we were off. The more we interviewed the more weird it got. Employees said the place wasn’t haunted but the eyewitnesses and locals said it indeed was haunted. The eyewitnesses had some compelling evidence.
“Here we have the dungeon where people were chained to the wall and left to die.” A woman explained, pointing to a small entry way to get into the dungeon. The boys would have to crawl to get in.
“That’s a tight way to get in.” Zak said, kneeling down to look.
“Hey Liv,I bet you could fit just fine!” Aaron said, panning the camera to me.
I smiled, feeling a little shy with the camera on me. “Being 4′11 has it’s perks.” I joked. Then it was time to go in.
“Ladies first?” Zak said, motioning to the crawlspace.
I shrugged and went over, kneeling down. As I began crawling through the smell in the air changed to more damp and dusty too.
“Be careful,Liv. I’m following behind you.” Zak said and I heard him getting down. Once I was in the room I was able to stand. Zak slid into the room a second later and stood, dusting himself off and waiting as Nick and Aaron crawled in.
Zak was shocked at how people were chained to the walls and left for dead. He asked me to place an X down and I did, having it set in the middle of the room to face the wall where the shackles used to be.
Later on the talk of the floating head was what got me interested. The fact that a head was just floating around in orb form. Of course,Zak asked for another X to be put down.
Of course,we weren’t done. Aaron briefly explained that a day of a lockdown tended to be hectic too. Between all of the interviews and the prep they did the day before. It was all intense. They did a lot of studying at local libraries and so on to get all the information they could. Aaron mentioning that Zak was very thorough with these kinds of things. After more interviews we found out another area that was connected to the fort which required a canoe to get to. Fun.
“Dude, bro. You’re the heaviest so you sit in the middle. Do not move, dude.” Zak addressed Aaron as we put our life vests on. While they moved the canoe into the water Zak asked if Aaron had ever been on a boat to which Aaron said no. Zak sat in the front and had me sit behind him with a camera this time. Once again Zak begged Aaron to stay still as the two of them rowed to our destination. Being inside the fort had been cool but now we had to walk to where the massacre between the French and Spanish happened.
As we walked through the woods Aaron suddenly ducked. The second I spotted what he was ducking from I moved forward behind Zak with my hands on his back. “Nope nope nope. I see a fucking spider.” I said and felt Zak chuckle.
“This just in,Liv is afraid of spiders.”
“And you’re afraid of snakes.”
“Touche.”
After this Zak let me follow behind him and gave me warnings when we were passing spiders in trees waiting to eat us. Finding the spot had been...solemn. To know many men were massacred purely because they didn’t convert to the Spanish’s Catholic ideals. I watched as Zak filled an empty water bottle with sand saying they’d use it on the lockdown to try and get a reaction from the spirits.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When we finished with all we had to do we had some times to relax before the sun was going to set. During this time Nick began giving me the run down of their equipment and showing me what was kept in which case and so on.
“You’ll have your own camera tonight just in case. More cameras means more angles and the better chance of catching something. Just remember to use the view finder so you don’t trip on stuff.” Nick reminded me,showing me which camera would be mine for the night.
After that Aaron was determined to run around the fort. While he did that Nick disappeared to go over the X’s I had laid out earlier. This left me alone. So I sat on the bed of the van with the doors open, taking it all in. Since I arrived it had been all going so fast I hadn’t stopped to take it all in. I was actually part of Ghost Adventures now. For how long? I’m not sure.
“You ready for lock down?” I looked up to see Zak leaning on the door beside me,watching me carefully,”Looked like we lost ya there.”
“I am. Just gonna keep in mind not to trip over stuff.” I shrugged a little,”Ya did. I haven’t had a chance to really take in that I’m here.”
“So you are serious about this? Hunting I mean?” A part of me was offended, not gonna lie. Did he think I was here to fuck around?
“What do you mean?” Might as well ask.
“Well ya know most people would probably go for the job just to be on tv. You seem like...getting on tv with three good looking guys seems something you’d be into.” I regretted asking.
I hopped off the bed of the truck. “See you at lock down and yes,I’m serious about this.” I answered before walking away. Zak called out to me but I ignored him just going randomly off somewhere. Did he mean to offend me? Probably not. Was I? Hell yeah.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally we were locked inside the fort. Zak kept glancing my way now and again as the guys set up their vests for when we got started. I checked over my camera, making sure the battery was full and I knew where the buttons I needed were. Zak went over our plan of attack, going over where we had X’s set up around the fort.
After setting up some Spanish money along with an EM pump it seemed things were picking up. Nick had suddenly froze as something passed through him and as we all were talking we all heard a scream coming from the small room we had crawled into earlier.
Inside the room it felt heavy like it was underwater. I was still trying to adjust to this feeling when the guys started an EVP session.
“What’s talk in Spanish?” Nick asked the room.
“Hola, como te llama?” Zak asked and I stopped, fighting back a smirk.
Aaron offered his own Spanish and I shook my head. “Guys your Spanish is atrocious.” I informed then, earning a snort from Aaron.
“Well if you can do better then go for it.” Zak said, turning his camera to me since Nick was holding the recorders.
“Hola. ¿Hay alguien aquí con nosotros? ¿Hablarás con la luz roja?“ I managed to say, asking if anyone was with us and if they could speak into the red light coming off of the recorders.
After a couple seconds of silence Aaron mumbled how my Spanish was better than theirs. Zak  suddenly shifted, claiming something kept touching him and in the same second Aaron heard a whisper. I felt pressure on my lower back like a hand was there and looked back to find nothing.
“Liv?”
“I’m getting touched too.” I answered Zak. A second later Zak yelled out and when I looked with the camera he was on the floor.
“G,what happened?” Aaron asked as Zak tried to get his bearings.
“Dude a breeze went right through me!” Zak said, blowing at Aaron. “Like that, man!” He finally stood while Nick found the camera on the floor.
Deciding to communicate Zak asked them to make a noise. The response was foot steps near us coming towards us. Again Zak asked them to make a noise. This time only Aaron heard something and it was a growl coming from a corner of the room. Zak and Nick determined whatever it was was communicating directly with Aaron. They told him to ask questions, anything he could think of. After a few minutes we decided to move on. Now Zak was standing holding his arms up and holding chains like he was chained to the wall and began asking questions and asking the spirits to chain him up.
“Who did that?” Zak suddenly asked.
“Did what?” I asked and Zak whistled in a certain way. A second later he froze.
“Liv,come here. Come here.” He told me and I moved over to where he was. “Do you see anything?” Zak asked and I looked around with the camera.
“Nothing. What happened?”
A second later he sighed. “I’m scared. I’m actually scared. I’ve never freaked out like this.” He said and I just continued to film him. “I just heard a voice right here. Let’s set up an X camera in here and see if we can catch anything. Aaron,go get another camera from base.” Zak instructed.
We began setting up the one we did have in the room when suddenly someone was running towards us again. We looked up to see Aaron frantically coming back to us. While Aaron had been going to the van he had heard someone running up on him so he checked behind him to see nothing and ran back to us. As we moved on to another room we had found that one also had bones discovered in it.
Out of nowhere Aaron said it smelled like horse shit and the rest of us stopped. Zak agreed and the two sniffed around for a second. Zak smelled Aaron and shook his head. “It isn’t you.”
“I smell beautiful.” Aaron answered and I giggled.
Zak moved over and bent down to my height. I shivered feeling his warm breath wash over my neck. “It’s not Liv. She smells like roses. Literally.” He said, leaning back up again before moving to Nick. “It is possible for smells to be linked to spirits.” He pointed out and I frowned.
“That’s some shitty scent to be stuck with.”
“Eyyy!” Aaron chuckled and blindly reached for a high five which I only managed with looking through the camera to find his hand.
We moved back into the room and that room people had been pushed. So we requested to be pushed but nothing happened. So we left an X camera and moved onto the soldier’s quarters.
Inside the room Zak flashed his English to Spanish dictionary telling us he picked some words to use on the spirits there. He started asking about the massacre in Spanish and calling them murderers.
“Zak,we need to work on your pronunciation.” I told him, receiving a look aimed in my general direction since he couldn’t see me.
He used the sand in the room, sprinkling it around and asking if the spirits didn’t like the reminder of the massacre. He asked to be attacked and punched and while he did the three of us started to feel breezes move past us almost like they were going to Zak. Things moved very fast sometimes. It seemed we would go times with just sitting in silence with seemingly nothing to a lot of things happening at once. It was insane but amazing.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We moved onto the cell where a psychic had been attacked. As soon as the door opened we all were shocked at how cold it was. There was no windows inside so we wondered how in the hell it could be that cold. Aaron started asking questions only to get nothing so we set up another X camera and moved on.
As we moved on Zak began setting up a new piece of equipment given to them by a scientist that they were going to field test. After twenty minutes we didn’t get much out of the equipment that would spit out words to us. Just as we decide to leave it begins giving multiple words that Zak repeats to us. ‘not’,‘turn’ and ‘leave’ come up and we figured they didn’t want us to turn and leave which Nick corroborated because he wasn’t able to pull the door open. Since we had such good luck we decided to take the device to the bones room.
As we began we all heard a breath out of no where then the machine sent off ‘upstairs’. “What’s upstairs?” I asked them all,”The money?”
“We got three hours until we’re unlocked.” Nick pointed out and I was shocked. So much time had passed! We moved upstairs, deciding to see what the spirit was trying to show us. We went up onto the wall where three sightings had happened previously.
For the rest of the night we got nothing. As it crept closer to seven am we packed everything up and headed to the gate. Zak sat with his arms through the gate as we waited.
“6:59.” Aaron sighed, looking at his watch.
“This is when you worry the person needing to free us has forgot to set their alarm clock.” Zak commented and I groaned.
“Don’t you dare.” I grumbled and Nick chuckled beside me.
“Not a morning person?” He asked and I slowly turned my head to glare at him.
Finally,we were freed and I was ready for some sleep. We all piled into the van and I stuffed myself into the back seat with Aaron. At the hotel we were happy to see breakfast being served already and after eating in silence we all parted ways to our rooms. As soon as I was in mine I collapsed onto the bed and groaned quietly. I rolled over and fished out makeup wipes, taking my makeup off and taking my contacts out of my eyes. I changed quickly and went to sleep, not wanting to be bothered.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Knock knock knock
Oh fuck you, I thought and rolled out of bed. “Coming!” I called and sighed, fishing my glasses out and putting them on my face. I walked over to the door and opened it up. My eyes came face to face with a black t-shirt and I looked up to see Zak standing there.
“Morning.” He said softly and I perked an eyebrow up at him.
“Morning.” I mumbled back.
“I brought you this...a peace offering.” Zak said, holding out a cup of coffee along with something wrapped in tissue paper.
I took them gently and then looked back at him. Zak sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. “Look,I’m sorry for saying what I said and assuming you were in it for the ‘tv fame’.” He apologized and gave me a sheepish smile,”Forgive me?”
I sighed and looked down at the cup in my hand. I lifted it to my lips and took a thoughtful sip before nodding. “I forgive you.” I murmured and Zak silently celebrate,”But.” This made him stop. “I’m gonna prove to you I’m here for this job. Nothing else.” I told him.
“I’m fine with that.” Zak nodded,”The guys and I are gonna go get a real meal in a bit if you wanna join us after that.” He motioned to the second item he had gotten me. “Nice pajamas by the way.” He smiled before turning and leaving.
I looked down at myself and cursed. I was in a Victoria Secret unlined bra and pajama pants decorated with jack-o-lanterns. With that I shut the door and went back to the bed, unwrapping the item Zak gave me to find a Danish with strawberry jelly on it. Well, the coffee was the best part.

GET TO KNOW ME-- Alphabet
Day 14 -- N
1. Nick Groff
Tumblr media
He is baby... and cuteness... and just so underrated. He needs more attention honestly!
2. Nickelback
Tumblr media
Tbh... I really dont understand the hate around Nickelback other than yes some of their songs sound the same [hit me up down below if theres a reason]. I really enjoy Nickelback honestly and they always put me in a good mood.
3. Nirvana
Tumblr media
My punk heart and soul! RIP Kurt. I love their music and their sound and vibes so much! Catch me jamming out to Nirvana when I do photoshoots 🤘
4. NAK (Nick Groff x Zak Bagans from Ghost Adventures)
Tumblr media
🎶 I will go down with this ship! 🎶 my OTP forever and ever and ever! I love them so much and even though I sometimes dont seem like I ship them so heavily i want them to make up and kiss. The tension needs to stahhhhppp!!!
On a more serious note, during my last two years of high school, I was in a very dark place mentally (TW: suicide--- I had planned out mentally and even wrote a note and partial will for when I killed myself by throwing myself of the second floor balcony of my school and onto the hard tile below. Obviously I'm still here) but Ghost Adventures and ultimately NAK saved me by giving me something passionate to work on. I dont like taking credit for something like this, but there was truly only one YT video of NAK when I first started on there and I think I'm part of the reason theres an influx of gay GA ship stuff now. But nonetheless, it made me feel a part of something and then I met my fellow beautiful NAK fangirls (Mina @wilhellmine Tess @somewhereontv Denise @glitchinslimjim ) and you guys brought so much more light into my life. I truly will never have what I have with you girls and the GA fandom with anyone else ❤
5. Night
Tumblr media
I use to be so deathly afraid of the dark and the night when I was little. Had to have music going and a nightlight to fall asleep. Now, it's my haven. Gives me peace of mind and I feel honestly so much more alive at night. If I could, I would be a night owl all the time!
6. Neon
Tumblr media
With the night, I'm in love with Neon. Like, going downtown in a city, I can just take drives around and look at the neon. It's just so aesthetically beautiful to me.
7. Noodles
Tumblr media
And noodles... dont come between me and pasta honestly lol. I love noodles! Oh my god! 🤤🤤🤤
