Bang yongguk red flag?
Bang Yongguk Red Flags
( he could have an entire essay I would still want to marry this man )
He can be emotionally unstable
Like he cares a lot about hat other people say and think of him
So everything has to be perfect all the time and that can be tiring
He can also lie a lot
He can be aggressive with his words
Selfish even
Has a hard time being compassionate for others
Might have a thing on cheating
Lacks comprehension toward his partner
He acts very emotionless
He won't allow people to see his failures and true emotions. So in a relationship it can become handicapped
His open minded can be problematic to a traditional partner

Can I ask for a B.A.P reaction when they see they s/o walking down the aisle on their wedding day?
Hi! I am so sorry, I never get notifications on the app on my phone and when I finally opened Tumblr on my laptop I saw your request. I am also not taking requests but I don't want to disappoint you after so long so I hope you enjoy this short scenario.
Bang Yongguk: This soft man would have his heart in his throat watching you walk down the aisle. He's teary-eyed but he has the biggest, gummiest smile on his face and nothing would ruin this day for him.
Tumblr media
Jung Daehyun: Oh this happy-go-lucky ball of energy would be so quiet and so emotional. He tries his best not to cry as he watches you walk down the aisle with a small smile on his face. He is so smitten and definitely the luckiest man in the world.
Tumblr media
Yoo Youngjae: He would be so happy and excited but all that stops when he sees you walk down the aisle. His heart is pounding against his chest and his jaw hangs open at how beautiful you look. The man is stunned!
Tumblr media
Moon Jongup: Send help. Jongup exe. has stopped working. He is stunned silent. He knew you were pretty but damn something about watching you walking down the aisle just made you 10 times prettier. He may or may not be crying silently.
Tumblr media
Zelo: He is just so happy to see you. He is practically vibrating with happiness and he can't wait to call you his. He thinks so are beautiful and every part of his just aches to hold you and kiss you. Just so much joy.

D-20: Dragon
Tumblr media
Pairing: Dragon Yongguk x Royal Reader
Genre: Angst, Action
Word Count: 1.6K
Faster.
Faster.
You must be faster, but nature is set against you. Bushes and branches tear at your face and limbs. Underfoot, rocks and dips in the earth threaten to bring you down. Even your own body is ready to betray you. The muscles in your legs and lungs are on fire, but you demand more. So much depends on you.
The howls and thrashing sounds are getting closer. They are fresh whereas your energy has been spent searching for the past three days. If they catch you, it’s not only over for you, but for your family and your kingdom as well. Your world as you know it will end if you can’t find him. If you can’t convince him to help.
The ground beneath your foot gives way and sends you tumbling down the hill. Your fingernails claw and break on dirt and grass, but you can’t stop yourself. Your back slams into a tree trunk. A black darker than the night threatens to steal your vision.
Fighting the pain, you stagger to your feet using the tree and gritting your teeth against the pain. You realize you’re just outside a small meadow. The grass that  glows white in the moonlight seems to reach toward a small boulder in the clearing’s center.
As your vision clears, the boulder comes more into focus. It’s not a boulder at all, but a roughly carved. The dark stone roils with storm clouds and weaving in and out of them is a long-bodied beast. A dragon.
You found him.
Your steps stumble as you try to run. Just behind the statue is a cliff face. There.
A victorious shout breaks through the night. “There they are! Remember, capture them alive!”
Alive only long enough to return to the city to be publicly executed, you’re sure.
With your last burst of strength, you push yourself straight at the solid rock. Instead of crashing into stone, you fall through what feels through a curtain of water so cold it feels like a shock.
Your body hits the ground and rolls a few feet.
Outside the cave, you can hear incredulous shouts and other sounds of confusion, but there’s something more important. A rumble from within the cave as if the earth itself is growling a warning and the growl is growing.
Footsteps echo from within the cave approaching you, but you can’t even lift your head, much less open your eyes. You made it. You’re safe.
A surprised yell sounds from behind you, followed by “I found them!”
Ice fills your soul. No. No, it can’t end like this. Your hands blindly reach ahead, scrambling to pull yourself deeper into the cave.
A hand grabs your ankle and cruelly yanks you back. A sword rasps as it’s unsheathed.
No!
“Who enters here?” a voice deep as the ocean booms.
The hand releases you. One of the men hunting you yells, “Stay where you are! This isn’t your business.”
“You have made it my business by entering my front door. Who are you and why have you come?”
Using their distraction, you kick out, hitting bone. But it was a futile attempt, because you’re grabbed and dragged once again.
Suddenly, a man yelps and you hear a sword clatter against rocks. Similar howls and clanks follow shortly.
“Violence is forbidden here,” the deep voice says. Its owner is getting closer still. “You would think those who enter my domain would know this.”
“Please, Lord! I beg your protection,” you cry hoarsely, lifting your head. The torches cannot break far into the cave’s darkness, but you can just make out an even darker shadow rising from the depths.
“Quiet, you!” a man shouts, kicking you in the back so hard you can’t help your scream.
A loud crack splits the air and something heavy behind you crumples to the ground to the gasps and cries of those around you.
“Did I not make myself clear? I said, violence is forbidden here. If it is your only intention, leave, but leave the child.”
Immediately, people start running. Someone tries to drag you up to take you with them, but there’s another crack and you drop, their body falling on top of you.
Dust sprays your face as a foot stops in front of it. A hand, warm and rough, lifts your chin. All you can make out is a blurry face before succumbing.
---
You wake up in such luxury that you bolt up, uncomfortable. The bed beneath you is softer than a cloud and the scarlet silk blanket covering you is so smooth it seems woven from water. When you push the curtain surrounding the bed aside, you find the room is open on three sides, all of which look out over a body of water so large you can’t see the edges where they disappear in the dark. But the lake itself is lit by low-hanging stars brighter than you’ve ever seen.
When you swing your tentative feet out from the blankets and onto the floor, you discover another miracle. All the sprains and scratches and other injuries you’d endured are gone with not a single blemish left on your skin.
“You’re feeling well, I assume?”
The voice from the cave.
Your head snaps up. A man stands before you in a white robe with twisting black marks along the arms. He’s tall and slender, but something tells you he’s much stronger than he looks. Then, you meet his eyes. Beneath his curly black hair, they shine gold.
You immediately drop to the floor and bow so low your head touches the cool stone. “My Lord Dragon. Thank you for saving me.”
“You don’t need to do that.” Hands grip your elbows to pull you up, but you resist.
“Please, Lord, I need your help. Do you remember my great-grandmother? When you were still an imugi, she found you being attacked by a tiger. She drove the tiger off, then cared for you until you could leave.”
The dragon lets go and you hear the silk of his robe whisper as he sits in front of you. “I do. That was a long time ago. Does she still live?”
“No, she died many years ago.”
“Ah. I’m sorry.”
“I never knew her, but her story was passed to all of us. But Lord-”
“Please don’t call me that. I’m not a lord. My name is fine. Yongguk.”
To do so feels treasonous, but you need him. “Yong-yongguk, thank you again for saving me, but I need to ask one more thing of you.”
He makes an affirming sound.
“Does your promise to my great-grandmother still stand? That you would help her and her family in their time of need?” You finally lift your head, watching him.
There’s nothing on his face for you to read, only thoughtfulness. “Does it pertain to the men who followed and tried to take you?”
“Yes. I’m sure you knew my great-grandmother was a high noble related to the royal family. Her grandson, my father, became king. Our people are under attack and we can’t hold off the invaders forever. We are a peaceful people. I promise on my life, it will just be this once. I nor mine will ever come again. Please, lend us your power.” Your voice sounds pathetic in your own ears, but you don’t care. Your pride means nothing in the face of losing everything you love.
Yongguk stays still, scarily so, instead of answering you for a long time. Your knees, legs, and back begin to ache in protest, but you can’t move.
“How,” he slowly says at last, “can you guarantee it will only be once? I have lived for a long time, child, a very long time.”
He reaches into the folds of his robe, closes his eyes in concentration, then pulls his hand back out. In his palm rests a small globe, glowing a smoky emerald green from within. A chintamani stone, the source of dragons’ power.
Yongguk continues, his eyes on the stone. “I have seen countless well-intentioned humans whose virtue withered in the face of their greed for power. I am always grateful for your family’s kindness, but you know a dragon’s powers are next to a god’s. That could be dangerous in the hands of a human.”
“I don’t ask that you give it to us. I just ask that you come with me. After, we will not keep you. I promise, Yongguk. Please...”
His gaze drifts from the chintamani to you and you feel his eyes searching down to your very soul. The gold in his eyes looks so cold.
“Would you give up your life in exchange?” he asks.
“Yes,” you answer instantly. You grab the knife at your waist, unsheathe it, and put it against your throat.
A force yanks the knife from your hand so it skitters across the room.
“I did not mean your life’s blood,” Yongguk says. “You are ready to sacrifice everything for your people, and I can see your heart is strong, so I trust you as I trusted your ancestor.”
Your body automatically lurches forward, closer to him. “Then you’ll help us?”
“However, I cannot trust other humans. I will help, but I cannot risk others trying to assume or manipulate me. That has been done too often. If I help you, will you give me your freedom in exchange?”
You still. “You mean stay here? With you? Forever?”
He nods, rolling the chintamini stone in his palm.
You sit back on your heels, a chill shooting through your body. What a hollow victory it would be to save your family and kingdom only to never see them again. A sacrifice upon a sacrifice. You have a choice, but do you?
Looking back at Yongguk’s face, you infuse your spine with all the steel of your bloodline. “I will.”

A glass of a deep red wine sat comfortably in your right hand, rolling the liquid slowly by tilting the stem of the glass between your fingers; you lazily stared as it oscillated a couple of times and then decided to bring it closer to your nose, taking a quick whiff and then licked your lips in anticipation for its taste. It smelled of sweet grapes, yet it tasted rather acid and made you scrunch your nose.
You eyes went quickly back to look at the liquid after you moved away the glass, but as you pondered whether you should just leave your second glass on the counter and call it a night, your pupils caught sight of a dark haired man grinning softly towards your way. Were you tipsy and possibly imagining things? Well, it was a possibility indeed, but in an inebriated state of mind you felt a sense of boldness and grinned back, tilting your glass towards the handsome stranger for a silent toast. He reciprocated the gesture and held your eye contact as you both took a sip from your respective glasses of wine. You weren’t sure if the warmth inside your chest came from the Merlot or the brief exchange of intriguing glances.
“Huh, how interesting,” you thought in an attempt to distract yourself from the lingering feeling of the handsome man’s attention on you, you eyes scanned the few patrons of the bar you found yourself at on a lonely weekend night. It was quiet despite the radio playing a soft jazzy tune, and you preferred it that way. It was a rare occasion to be able to enjoy such a peaceful night after long hours of work almost every day of the week, your friends had other things to do and you didn’t have a significant other to keep you company either… Not that it mattered, you were perfectly content enjoying your solitude in that moment.
“Hi.” Your hazy train of thoughts was quickly put on a halt as soon a velvety and deep voice reached your ears. He had your full attention, pupils dilated and nose flaring as you took in the wild musk scent of his cologne, a cozy black cardigan enveloped his body as a chest tattoo picked from behind the collar of a white t-shirt. Not really the kind of guy you would expect to be solo and drinking wine out on the weekend. But then again, it’s not like you were wearing a cocktail dress or something else that was fancy; a pair of jeans and a turtleneck were just fine for drinking wine by yourself… or in company.
And you could’ve sworn you stopped breathing the moment you saw him up-close, feeling warmth pool in other parts of your body too. “Hi,” you couldn’t help but smile back at how friendly yet shy he sounded and looked, black wavy hair brushing against his eyelashes.
“I saw you sitting alone from across the bar and I thought I should keep you some company, if that’s alright with you?” You don’t think you’ve ever heard a man speak with such a baritone voice, and it was pleasant to listen to. You weren’t really planning to spend the night with anybody, in fact, you had turned away the advances of others, but this guy gave you a good feeling. Yeah, you were definitely sober enough to acknowledge that, but still tipsy enough to think “what the heck, let’s do it!”. You simply nodded, smile slowly growing bigger as you watched him place his glass of wine on the counter and pull the stool towards him so he could sit next to you, leaving some room so that he wasn’t too close either. “I’m Yongguk.”
“Nice to meet you, Yongguk.” You introduced yourself as well and again tilted your glass towards him. “So, what are you drinking tonight?” You asked him a simple question to make for some conversation, not many people are wine enthusiasts like yourself.
“Pinot Noir.” He furrowed his brows slightly as he looked at his glass, picked it up and gave it a light swirl before inhaling the aroma. “I believe the label on the bottle said France.” He ran one of his hands through his wavy locks of black hair, then looked back at you with a glimmer in his eyes. “What about you, mademoiselle?”
“Merlot, I believe the label said Italy.” There was a moment of silence where you couldn’t take your eyes off of each other’s, breath caught in your lungs with your lips parted because you were too stunned by his aura to speak… and this time you knew that the warmth inside your chest wasn’t from the wine.
It wasn’t long before you abandoned the empty glasses on the old, wooden bar counter and made your way to his place, chanting his name like a mantra until the early hours of the morning. Soft lips and gentle hands soon started exploring your body’s every curve, making you moan and melt at every touch. Both of your senses were heightened from the aphrodisiac nectar you shared and little to no words were needed to know that there was something that just drew you in like magnets.
The way Yongguk had you writhing in his bed made you ask for more and he always gave it to you, like a reward for taking him so high and holding him there for as long as he needed it. By the morning the tips of his fingers were drawing imaginary constellations on your back, following invisible lines from one mole to the next one, making you squirm and giggle until you were finally awake in the arms of a man you never wanted to let go of. A youthful smile you were sure would give you butterflies every time you looked at him for more days to come.
And he felt the exact same way. He felt it from the moment you looked back at him in that dim, old bar, he just knew you were meant to meet and be together like a puzzle piece… Not that any of you could explain it with any sort of coherent logic, you just both knew.
Oh, wine… What a powerful aphrodisiac.

You could see the mirage of sweltering heat lining the orange dirt path. People lined up in front of their stores and even customers and passerby's stayed towards the side to keep the path open for the royal carriages coming forward in the distance. Their loud gossip turned into hushed whispers as the carriages came closer, seeing samurai in full armor leading the extravagant royal display that was pulled by finely dressed servants.
You scoffed to yourself, folding your arms over your kimono as you watched the applause and cheers begin for the presence of the king in your humble town. He had returned from meeting with some diplomats on the other part of the district, and purposely rode through town to flaunt his power over the people. You were proven to be correct, the gold rimmed door swinging open with the sight of a black covered leg kicking out before the sun gave light to the recognizable grace of the King himself.
Bodies crowded together just to get a glimpse of the King make his way down the dirt path in the gold court carriage that two servant men pulled from the front. His fine gold and black robes hung from his pale body loosely, leading up to the small flawless face except for the single scar over his eye. His joyous laugh roared over the cheers of people pushing amongst themselves to wave at the King. You recognized the red tint in his cheeks and half closed eyes, his body staggering in the entrance of the carriage as his hand grabbed hold of his falling crown, the hanging beads crashing against each other.
Ah, he’s already drunk. And in a good mood.
You had served the King with feminie company a few unfortunate times during past summers where he called upon your sisters. Head mistress never passed up the opportunity to offer the King her services, making you and the rest of your sisters dress your best and head to the castle to dine with the Emperor. It was uncomfortable and stomach churning, the deadly rumors about the King refusing to leave your head. King Yoongi was known as a tyrant, torturer, and sick bastard who took pleasure in every form of pain. You were proven right with the suffocating tension when you all settled into the dining room, the men keeping their hands off the ladies until King Yoongi flicked his wrist; permission granted to enjoy the feast and wine. The mood only lightened when your sisters got enough wine in him, a more comfortable expression on his face that was able to make you loosen up as well.
You remembered the many parties you attended like that for the King, making sure to keep a safe distance away from him as he served his men that he granted to join his events. You managed to avoid the many summonses this summer to serve the King, passing the responsibility onto your sisters as you settled for laundry duty. Serving the King meant more money; ten chickens, five pigs and a goat you could send back home for your sickly mother but you couldn’t handle that much murderous tension in a room, it was too much on your heart. You took on basic work back at the oiran with the other men that frequented the shop but you mainly helped out with errands such as these. Trying to gather fruit in the market that now was bombarded with attention to the King rolling through. You sighed out in annoyance though you kept a safe distance hidden away in the crowd, taking in the sight of the foolish King about to fall out of his carriage. You noticed the many samurai surrounding him, raising an eyebrow to their armor cladded bodies and stone faces as they led the way towards the castle. They definitely garnered attention to themselves, making you wonder what entailed during the meeting with the noble diplomats.
You watched the carriage continue to move forward, the many townspeople following the gold display in hopes that he would drop some gold coins for them. You shook your head, wondering if you should pack some extra unpaid fruit in your bag since no one was planning to do their jobs today. You moved to head back to the stalls but quickly stopped in your tracks with eyes going wide.
There were still more men coming, but you recognized this attire on instant. They didn’t wear bulky armor like the samurai in front, but you knew these guys were the real deal with their black robes and glimpses of the familiar crest on their bodies. The group of them followed behind with a significant distance between the carriage, greeting the people as they came by.
Your eyes scanned the group of men, searching out the person that you begged your mind to remember. Remember the appearance, the distinct features, call back on the love you once shared.
It was as if time had slowed, the glimpse of the black hair being pushed back with a tan hand, long fingers getting lost in the black locks before they moved to the back of his neck to massage the tense muscles. You recognized his thick eyebrows, above those dark eyes you could get lost in if you stared for too long. You recognized the nose, pink full lips and the peek of the assorted tattoos along his body right underneath his neck being hidden by his black robe. You recognized it all, drinking him in as quickly as possible before you dared to utter his name.
Yongguk.
Your mouth didn’t even fall all the way open before you were roughly pushed aside, screaming women mingling in the group to convince the samurai to take a chance on them. If it wasn’t for your eyes frantically searching for Yongguk again you would have knocked this heavy basket of fruits on each of their hands and started a brawl.
You managed to find him again in the larger crowd, only for your face to fall with the sight of the many women between his arms. A tiny hope of him acting a bit humble, pushing them aside and focusing on his own task at hand. Instead he welcomed the attention, heated bodies against his own as his mouth moved saying something to rile the girls up in a fit of giggles.
You didn’t notice the way your body quivered or the tears stinging your eyes making them grow red. The basket of fruit that you carried suddenly grew too heavy on your arm, intense wave of emotions filling your chest as you watched his head tilt downward, red painted lips beside his ear as a girl whispered something you assumed to be words of desire, a slight smirk on his face before his eyes darted up to catch yours.
A breath hitched in your throat as you rapidly blinked, feeling hot streams of liquid burning a path down your cheeks. You staggered back as you swallowed a building lump in your throat, unable to read the look in his eyes as he continued to look at you. You finally found your footing to quickly turn around in the direction back to the oiran.
*
“Yeji-ah, you can’t stay like this forever.”
You muffled your sobs into the satin pillow you buried your face in, your body shaking with the cries you let out as you laid on the fluffy futon underneath you. Your friend sighed in the mirror, carefully drawing a winged line over her eyelid as she painted her face with the make-up on the table.
“Crying all night isn’t going to do you any good.” she tutted, not sparing your form a glance as she continued her work in the mirror.
The night air that came in through the open windows was cool on your hot skin from a very long soak in the bath that you spent crying in there too. You still had more sobs in you to get out, believing that this broken heart was never to be healed.
“I will cry for many more then.” you drawled, moving your smushed face to the side and finally breathing in some fresh air.
“You can’t do that~, you have work to do.”
You raised up your heavy body on your arms, pushing yourself up into a sitting position with legs crossing over. You wiped your nose with the back of your hand and pulled the snot back in with a sniff, hearing your friend make a small noise of disgust.
“I waited and waited for him to return back to me. I worked so hard even though I missed him so much.” You whined with another sniff, your numb heart being hit with another wave of sadness mingled with jealousy as the memory of the woman whispering in his ear flashed in your head again. “He’s a sleazy bastard. I should have listened to him the first time he said not to pursue him. I hope the gods give him what he deserves and-”
A hard smack against the table made you keep quiet, peeking up at your co-worker who was finally looking at you with a kind smile and freshly painted face. “This is not the Yeji I know.”
You made a noise of surprise when she hopped out of the chair and toppled over you, wrapping her arms around your form in a tight hug making you groan. Her hands clasped your face, mushing your cheeks together as she made you turn your attention on her.
“I’m not going to sit here and say I told you so because I already did but you can’t keep ruining this beautiful face with tears for a man.” You blinked at her, your smushed face making pout as your eyebrows knitted close together. Her mouth turned into a brilliant smile, playful eyes sparking with mischief.
“I heard the yamazaki is dining in a bar near the castle, and it’s going to be a very fun party.”
Your head began to shake with denial but her tight clasp kept you still as she continued, “How about we go stir it up a bit more, and I’ll give you a makeover that’ll make every man drop to their knees before you get through the door.”
You blinked at her, your voice coming out muffled, “But Yongguk will be there.”
“That’s precisely why you’re going my love.”
“I don’t want to see women on his arm.”
“And he probably doesn’t want to see his men drooling all over you. But that’s what’s going to happen. And you will take back your pride and ego and show him the power of a courtesan that can kill men and women with her appeal.”
There was a long pause between the two of you, her words settling in before her eyes smiled at you and she smacked a kiss on your lips. She released her hold on you and moved to return back to her seat, giving you the option to let her help you or not. You didn’t really like the idea of going out to a party, much less know that Yongguk was going to be there giving other women attention. Your emotions were unstable; the idea of having to let go of a lost love you’ve waited so long for that you changed your whole demeanor to that of a young girl being married off to a fine prince. Thus, this fine prince ended up being a sordid asshole who had no morals. Though, you couldn’t hold back the excitement in your heart, a little piece of yourself coming back. The look on his face when he saw you in all your glory and unfazed attitude proving two could play this game. And you wanted the last laugh.
That’s what it means to work in Oiran.
*
Adrenaline coursed through your veins, mixed in with the couple cups of wine you downed to get you going. You took extra care in getting ready as fast as you could before the night wasn’t young anymore. You dressed in the finest gowns you could borrow, a kiss to your forehead from the headmistress as she prompted you to bring back customers since you weren’t making any money. Her nose wrinkled in disappointment but she let you and your sister go, holding hands as your laughter filled the night along with whistles of approval from men passing by. There were more people frequenting the district up near the castle, probably due to the King throwing another extravagant party to himself. But you made sure not to go too close, recognizing the famous bar you and your friend were headed towards that was lit up with joyous noise.
You squeezed the hand in yours a little tighter, your friend sparing you a glance as you held your head a bit higher, moving along the path towards the entrance of the bar. You heard the catcalls and whistles, men already falling to their knees to capture your attention like withered flowers. A naughty smile played on your lips, the fire lit lights from the windows shining on your face as you stepped in, your presence being made known by the men who were fascinated with your beauty. Donned in silk red and white robes, shoulders and neck exposed the cool summer air as your hair was pinned up in a messy bun with fringes of your hair coming down to tickle your exposed skin.
You glanced around, already gaining company as paid drinks were offered to you before you could even find a seat. Your friend and you loved to play a game of hard-to-get, only showing each other attention as men tried to get in between. Your eyes scanned the bar in search of the bastard you had your mind on all this time, biting down on your glossed bottom lip as your brown eyes searched through the yamazaki men.
Indeed you found him in the hazy smoked corner of the bar, giggling women at his feet and pouring him drink after drink, even feeding him a chicken teriyaki. He seemed to have noticed you first, dark eyes boring into yours as a red tint washed over your body. You cleared your throat and looked back at your drink in hand, throwing your head back as you let the burning liquid course down your throat.
A few more men sat at the table with you and your co-worker, compliments and words of desire already spewing from their mouths as you turned your work switch on. As a maiden who pleases men this was the same exact scenario, but instead of money you were earning Yongguk’s attention.
“What’s your name, pretty girl?”
This one had caught your eye, among the others that your co-worker was keeping entertained he had his dark eyes on you. You scanned him over, being surprisingly reminded of Yongguk as you took his features in. Tan skin, thick eyebrows, short black hair and an adorable smile that made his eyes smaller. He was much more giggly, his body leaning towards yours as you rested a hand against his chest to steady him. “Yeji.”
He chuckled foolishly, “Nice to meet you, pretty girl. Name’s Himchan.”
You chuckled to yourself, laughing at his drunken actions as you watched him take a bottle of liquor out of the hand of his companion beside him, not even sparing him a glance at his flustered face. He poured the liquid into your cup, up to the very rim before he did the same with his own.
You could feel heat against the nape of your neck as you took your cup into your hands again, carefully bringing the rim to your plush lips and drinking down the alcohol. Your face scrunched over as the strong alcohol filled your senses, making your body shiver. Himchan watched your actions closely, all the while letting his hand creep up your leg. The rough hand trailing up your thigh exposed more of your skin, his face leaning in as his tongue wet his pink lips ready to press against-
You watched his face fly onto the table, his hand torn away from your body as you held back a sudden scream. Himchan was out cold before he could even put up a fight, his body slumped against the table. Your head spun to the side, seeing Yongguk stand tall over you with a hand rubbing over the knuckles of his fist.
Both of your attention was turned to the loud roar of one of his men, seeing the rest of the bar had taken notice of what went down. The large man staggered before dragging a bottle of one of the wooden tables, swinging it back over his shoulder before throwing it towards Yongguk. He dodged expertly, the wasted booze splattering over the wall as the rest of the bar went into an uproar. Yongguk had spurred on a drunken brawl, the yamazaki men beginning to fight amongst themselves.
Fists were flying in each other’s faces as women screamed and moved to get away. You stumbled back, pushing away the heavy bodies that threatened to collide into you as you searched out for your friend. Your search was short-lived, a familiar rough hand wrapping around your wrist and pulling you out.
A rush of fresh air hit your heated face as you welcomed the outside, gathering your loose robes with your other free hand. You stared at the back of the man pulling you away from the bar, an ocean of mixed emotions washing over your body as you searched for your voice.
“Guk!”
He didn’t even spare you a glance, continuing to drag you along to wherever he was going.
“Stop!” you let out again with a shaky voice, attempting to pull your arm back but his grip proved stronger.
“My fucking arm, stop!!”
You collided into his body abruptly, his familiar scent filling your senses as you instinctively grabbed his body. You didn’t have time to gather your bearings, your head being tilted back with a possessive hand in the back of your hair and pulling it down. Soft lips met your own and it took every muscle to tighten over for you not to melt. His lips were firm but needy, kissing you just like you imagined you would when the two of you were granted to meet again.
You heard a growl rip from his throat the same time his other free hand clutched around the fabric on your chest. Your heart skipped at the thought of him ripping your garments off of you when you were still outside, but he controlled himself as he released it and let his hand trail up your heart skin to wrap gently around your neck.
He pulled away from your lips much to your disappointment, the hand on your neck keeping you in place as your eyes fluttered open.
“Gukkie..”
He looked just as completely entranced as you probably looked to him, holding each other’s stares as your breaths mingled together in the short distance. He dragged his hand down from your neck, stepping back with his hand now in yours before leading you off again to a nearby ryokan. The both of you hurried in, ignoring the judging eyes of the innkeeper who recognized the face of the yamazaki. Yongguk led you down to a room, guiding you in and shutting the door behind the two of you.
You brought him into your arms, leaning up to kiss him like you did before with more desire as you fought with robes on your body. He pushed you down, falling onto the floor and silently thanking that there was already a soft futon set up underneath you. He didn’t stray too far from your body, kissing you hungrily before dragging his lips down your neck.
You had played this out in your head a trillion times, thinking of all the different ways this could go. But now here you were, unable to do anything with your hands as they scratched and pulled on his body trying to anchor yourself with the pleasure and emotions your body was experiencing.
He managed to suck a few red patches over your neck and chest, already putting claim on you as his lips trailed down further. Your silk robes were no match for his steady hands putting shame to the hard time you were having earlier. You couldn’t decide if his kisses were hot against your skin or if your body was so hot that his kisses were cooling you down. Either way he had reached down to a region that needed him the most, your thighs spreading on instinct for him.
A finger dipped into your pool, swirling about before he pulled it up to the light revealing a sheen of wetness on his digit. His dark eyes caught yours in a heated gaze, making sure you watched him take his middle finger into his mouth, sucking it clean. You moaned wantonly at the sight, quickly biting it back with a whine in fear of your loudness.
He watched his head dive in, feeling his tongue against your slick folds as he licked up hungrily. You covered your mouth in silent scream, feeling his tongue quickly work into rhythm that circled around your folds and lapped up to flick your clit.
You pressed your hand against your mouth tighter, the noise in your throat finding its way out as your lips mouthed curses into your palm. Your free hand found it way into his hair, but he quickly pulled your grasp into his own hand and held on securely. His tongue dipped into your hole, pushing it in as far as it would go making your walls sputter in desire for more length, more girth, and more heat. Your legs were a quivering mess as he lapped you up, altering with his tongue going inside you in a mocking gesture of what was soon to come.
You had needed this. Badly.
Your robes were beginning to stick to your body though you were quite exposed to the air that began to fill with sex. You almost couldn’t take it when his mouth wrapped around your rosebud, sucking into his mouth and letting his tongue swirl around making you scream into your hand. You began to buck into his mouth, wanting even more of the pleasure you didn’t know what to do with.
He swirled his tongue over your pussy a few more times, a squelching noise filling the room shamefully as you whined to mask over the sound. Disappointment washed over you when he moved away, only to clench your walls at the sight of him sitting on the back of his heels, loosening the tie around his yukata.
Your eyes darted down as his robe opened up gracing you with the sight of his tan skin, toned body that was donning fresh new battle scars since the last you’ve seen of him. Nothing caught your eyes more than the hard meat standing at attention. You didn’t notice your legs were quivering in anticipation until his hands were underneath your thighs, pushing them back to fold over your torso. The concept of time had escaped from you not knowing if Yongguk was moving too fast or too slow as your eyes strained to watch him the pitch of darkness. You realized you didn’t need to when you could feel it, feel the head of his cock at your entrance coating itself in your wetness all the more making that same shameful sound.
He was pushing himself in before you knew it, making a lustful noise tear from your throat as you stared up at him with eyes losing focus. You heard hiss out a curse, something about the tightness as he permitted his dick to go in deeper.
Claim you.
He held the back of your knees firmly, letting them shake in his hold as he guided his cock to go inside of you. He was so large, too thick for you to take in all at once. He knew this, which is why he pulled back to push in more slowly earning another fucked out whine from your throat. The two of you continued on like that until he was satisfied with what length you could take, pulling his hips back and experimentally snapping back in. Your body took the move well, coating his dick in a sheen of wetness as he built up a steady, slow rhythm. Even though your body was taking it well the pleasure was too much for you to handle. It had been so long since the last time for you never dared to have sex with another man if it wasn’t Yongguk. No amount of fantasizing and masturbating prepared you for this as you held onto his wrists so you wouldn’t lose yourself to the pleasure.
Yongguk watched his dick slip inside you, picking up speed as you took more of his length. Your wells sputtered over his girth, the tightness coaxing him to spill himself so early in the act. He chased the temptation away, snapping his hips into your own until his trance broke with your noise breaking into a high pitch. He whispered a soft apology, before returning to a bearable pace and letting his eyes scan over your body. You were a mess that was all his, in a shameful position that opened up just for him. You couldn’t hold himself back from picking up speed again, wanting to hear more of the noises spilling from your mouth. You were calling upon the gods, not bothering to hold back your wanton sounds as you spurred Yongguk on. You ignored the soreness in your legs as he pushed them back further, letting his body hover over you as he slammed his cock into your squelching pussy. Your eyes rolled back as you begged for it, making sure to tighten your walls over him everytime he came down.
He cursed aloud before falling back onto his knees, halting his movements as he gained a tighter grip on the back of your knees. His dick slipped in and out of you, a slower pace than before though you weren’t complaining. The oncoming feeling of heat building in your lower stomach made you whine, as you reached out uselessly for Yongguk.
He stared down at your pleading expression, messy hair sticking to the sides of your face, lustful eyes begging out, “Make it last...please, make it last.”
You whispered the words over and over, listening to the growl that tore from his throat as he disciplined himself to keep a steady pace as he felt your walls squeeze over his cock. Your orgasm washed over in waves, a gurtled moan of his name as your eyes rolled back and curses spewed from your shameful mouth. You choked on a whine when he picked up speed, your sore legs falling to his sides as he released them and his hands fell between you. You listened to his mingled grunts and moans as he fucked you like he wanted. You wrapped your heavy arms around him, letting your mouth trail kisses along his neck and whispered dirty nothings into the air just for him to hear. He cursed loudly, quickly pulling out and emptying himself on the lower part of your stomach. You felt the hot spurts of liquid on your skin, the act of it almost turning you on again.
He fell over you again, welcoming his body in open arms as a tired smile played on your face. The both of you were spent and sleep was calling to you but the excitement of being with Yongguk after so long kept you up. You traced pictures into his back, your mind racing with the things you wanted to say to him.
You felt the weight on your body raise off of you, a look of surprise donning your features as you watched him gather his robe to cover him again and move away from your body. You quickly sat up, pulling your own silk to cover your body as you silently watched his back turn to you.
“So we have sex and that’s it? No I’ve missed you or this is where I’ve been this whole time?”
He was silent to your shaky questions, a hand coming up to rub the back of his neck. “You’ll be safe here tonight. Go home in the morning.”
You scoffed in disbelief, a familiar twinge in your heart as you blurted, “You’re a sleazy bastard. You take all the women you want and throw them away after one night. If I didn’t show up tonight it would probably be another woman in here with you wouldn’t there?”
“Stop it.” his deep voice gently commanded, his back still turned to you as anger welled up inside.
“I’ve waited all this time for you and the first thing you do when you get back is play with some prostitutes and ignore me? When were you going to make time for me!?” Your voice was much louder, enough to wake up other possible guests in the inn. Your mouth pressed closed when he turned around with a harsh stare until you realized what was being held in them. Your jaw trembled as you felt your eyes burn, hoping to get the rest of it out in a clear voice.
“Did you forget about everything between us?”
You stared each other down for a long while, refusing to break eye contact in fear that if you did it meant he no longer carried those feelings for you. You blinked when he moved towards you, a hand on the back of your neck pulling you to the lips that placed a soft kiss on your head.
“Keep your feelings close to your heart. Don’t let anyone else see what’s inside.”
You gasped when you felt the tight tension on your neck make a snap, your consciousness quickly going out and sleep welcoming you home.

A Possibility
Length warning: 3400 words
Quality warning: I haven't done any writing in so long and it just feels weird doing this. Like something has to be wrong with the story, especially since I honestly have no idea how this managed to happen at 4am.
"I'm just saying that if the guy really was a big shot athlete in college who broke national records, then you would find at least one thing about him on the internet." You set the box of dishes you had been carrying on to the kitchen counter. Tamar rolled her eyes as she began filling one cupboard with cups. "I don't think the girl who has been pining over the same guy her whole life should be giving out relationship advice." You froze for just a second and then turned towards your friend to glare at her. She glanced at you before sighing. "Okay, sorry. That was a low blow." Smacking the counter angrily, she added, "Damn it I really like him." Turning away from you, you worked on putting away the plates. "Just confront him about it then. If he admits he lied to impress you, you can work with that and warn him not to do it again. If he sticks with his story, then you know he cares more about his image than about having an honest relationship." "Hmm..." she hummed, mulling over what you said. "Yeah I suppose that works." She grabbed her empty box and tossed it towards the other boxes waiting to be taken to the recycle. "Ready to get out of here and go shopping? I need to load up on snacks and booze if I'm gonna have a housewarming party." You tossed your own empty box away. "Only if you buy me lunch first. I'm starving." Tamar laughed at that and nodded. "Deal. As a 'thank you' for helping me move in."
As soon as you walked in to the restaurant, you waved at the server and headed over to the back booth. The place you and your friends always sat at when you came in. "Hey, the usual?" asked the server. "Yep." you answered and slid in to the booth. "Except change my fries to tater tots." Tamar piped up. The server raised his hand in acknowledgment as he wrote down the order. Then he passed it to the cook in the kitchen. Drumming your fingers on the table, you eagerly waited for your food and turned your attention to the window. It was a nice, sunny day that went well with your happy mood. Today was a good day your decided. Suddenly your eyes were covered and all you saw was darkness. A breath tickled your ear briefly and someone asked, "Guess who." A shiver went down your spine, but you ignored it. Instead you chuckled and rolled your eyes. As if you could ever mistake that voice. "Hi Yongguk." The man laughed and removed his hands from your eyes. "How'd you know?" he questioned as he slipped in to the booth to sit beside you. "Please. I've had to listen to that annoying voice for years." you told him. He barked out a laugh and shook his head. Then he turned to Tamar. "You settled in?" "Yes, finally!" She let out an exaggerated groan. "You gonna make it tonight, right?" "Of course." At that moment, the server brought over your meals. The food smelled absolutely heavenly and you quickly popped a french fry in to your mouth. A small moan escaped you, causing the guy next to you to chuckle. Then his had shot out towards your plate. You went to smack his hand but you were too late. He made off with a fry and hurriedly ate it. You glared at him and scooted a couple of inches away from him, taking your plate with you. Only for him to follow you while attempting to steal more of your food. "Mine!" you exclaimed with a small giggle. You kept smacking his hand while moving away until your side was pressed up against the wall. "Come on, share." He gave you a mischievous smile. Then he was right there beside you, his body touching yours as he trapped you in the corner. "Get your own." "But sharing is caring." "Who says I care?" That earned you another laugh from him and he slid away from you, giving you some space. Tamar shook her head. "You two are unbelievable." The sever appeared again with a to-go bag. "Here you go." he said and put the meal down in front of Yongguk before walking away. Yongguk stood and grabbed the bag. "Well, see ya guys tonight." Then he left and you resisted the urge to watch him walk out of the restaurant. "Girl." Tamar while giving you a pitiful look. "Don't." you hurriedly demanded, not wanting her nagging to sour your mood. "We're friends. That's it." Another sigh. "Fine." Turning your attention to your meal, you felt your mood shifting anyways as your mind filled up with Tamar's opinion about you and Yongguk. About how good the two of you would be together as a couple. A tiny part of you agreed, but you couldn't let yourself let that part be more than a passing thought. Yes, you had a crush on your best friend. Some would even say it was a 'major' crush, and you've been suppressing those feelings for years after flirting with him did nothing. It was obvious he didn't feel that way about you so you gave up. At first it wasn't easy and it hurt like hell to be around him. Time helped ease that pain though so now there was only a dull ache in your chest when you allowed those feelings to briefly surface. Shaking your head and pushing him out of your mind, you changed the topic to Tamar's party. The two of you made a plan on how many people were coming and everything that you needed to buy.
Well, at least you tried to plan for the party. More people than you were expecting showed up and you were dangerously close to running out of drinks. The snacks were gone an hour ago. Tamar didn't seem worried about it though as she danced to the music with some friends in the living room. You sat on the couch and watched her with a grin on your face, until she beckoned you to join them. "Uh, no." you said as she stretched both arms out towards you. "No, no, no, no." Your denial fell on deaf ears as she grabbed you and pulled you off the couch while laughing. She urged you to dance and you half-heartedly followed along, causing her to laugh more. Then there was loud knocking on the door and you quickly proclaimed, "Got it!" You escaped the make-shift dance floor and went to the front door. When you opened it, you smiled in relief to see Yongguk holding a large box that was overflowing with bags of chips. "I brought supplies." he said as he walked in. "Yes!" You turned towards the crowd. "More snacks on the way!" Several people cheered as you led Yongguk into the kitchen. He put the box on the counter and began emptying it. "I figured you didn't bother with some 'just-in-case' extras." You rolled eyes. "Yeah, yeah." You grabbed the empty bowls and began filling them with chips. Once they were full, the two of you carried the bowls out in to the living room and set them on the table that was pushed up against the wall. "Dancing time!" You turned to see Tamar beckoning for you to join her again as she slowly danced toward you. You turned towards Yongguk and desperately pleaded, "Save me." "Nope." Then he pushed you. You stumbled slightly as Tamar grabbed you. Giving in, you let her lead to back to the group of people dancing while glaring daggers at Yongguk. He merely smirked at you though. With a sigh, you decided to go with the flow and started dancing. It wasn't long until you were genuinely enjoying yourself. You weren't sure how many songs had played by the time you collapsed on to a chair. "Wimp!" You stuck your tongue out at Tamar before laughing. How in the world she was still dancing was beyond you. Your legs and your feet had had enough. Though a drink sounded wonderful and groaned like an old woman as you got back on your feet. You headed towards the kitchen and came to a sudden halt in the doorway. Yongguk was leaning against the counter and he wasn't alone. A girl stood next to him and by the way the two of them were smiling, you pretty sure they were flirting. Suddenly a phone went off, snapping you back to reality. You walked over to the fridge as Yongguk pulled his phone out of his pocket. "Hold that thought." he told the girl and answered the phone. He left the kitchen and you guessed he was going to the bedroom so he could talk privately. Looking at the drink selection, you momentarily eyed the liquor before settling on a soda. Then you closed the door and you jumped. The girl had moved to stand by you. "Sorry." she offered. "You're friends with Yongguk, right?" "Uh, yeah." you replied. She lifted her right hand to show the phone she was holding. "My ride's here. You think maybe you could give this to him?" With her left hand, she offered you a napkin. Scribbled on it was the name Jessica and a phone number. "Oh. Yeah. Sure." You took it and stuffed the napkin in to your pocket. "Thanks!" She beamed happily at you while blushing a little. Then she turned and left. With a heavy sigh, you closed your eyes to center yourself. This wasn't a big deal. Yongguk has had girlfriends before. Heck, you've even dated a couple of guys. The only reason it feels weird now is cause of Tamar constantly insisting that you and Yongguk should date. She was like a dog with a bone in her mouth. If only she'd just drop it. Ignoring the dull ache in your chest, you went back out to the party.
As the night went on, the party slowly died down until it was just you, Tamar, and Yongguk left. And you weren't sure how much longer they would last. They both sat on the floor, leaning against the couch, and it was obvious they might have had one two many beers. "Best night ever." Tamar stated with a lopsided grin. "Um, have you seen your apartment?" you asked and indicated the mess as you plopped down in front of them. She giggled and shook her head like a little kid. "I don't even care right now." Yongguk giggled as well and rolled an empty liquor bottle across the floor. All of a sudden Tamar sat up and fixed her gaze on you. "So, anyone catch your eye?" You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. "What?" She rolled her eyes. "Oh please. You had to have realized how many more guys there were here than girls." She smiled and lean towards you. "Did any of the single guys I invited catch your eye at all?" "Uhh..." Yongguk suddenly sat up as well. "Wait, was this a hook up party for her?" "And a housewarming. Two birds, one stone." she told him before turning back to you. "Well?" "Well?" Yongguk parroted, amusement in his eyes as he grinned at you. Feeling yourself blush a little, you shook your head. "I wasn't exactly looking for a date." Tamar sighed. "Damn girl. What am I going to do with you?" "Well if you would have said something beforehand." you told her. Then you noticed how she kept glancing between you and Yongguk. Dread welled up in your stomach as your heart started to race. "You know what..." She trailed off as if she was thinking about something that just came to her. "I think you two would look good together." A shock went through you as if someone had dumped a cold bucket of water on you. You gaped at her, not believing what she said. "Oh hell no!" exclaimed Yongguk. "That would be horrible." He gagged, as if the idea repulsed him, and then laughed. It was only when his laughter faded that you realized you hadn't reacted at all. You hurriedly smiled and forced out a laugh. "Uh, yeah. Horrible." The smile on his face started to slip though as he looked between you and Tamar. Several emotions flashed in his eyes. Amusement, confusion, disbelief, and then horror as he gaped at you. You looked away from him. "That reminds me." You dug the napkin out of your pocket and set it on the floor by him. "Jessica wanted me to give you this. You should call her." Standing up, you surveyed the living room. "I'm gonna start cleaning up." Then you went to the kitchen, pretending that you didn't hear Tamar call out your name. Going straight to the sink, you found the box of trash bags under it and grabbed a couple. You began to fill one with the empty bottles and chip bags. "Hey." You kept focused on your task. "What?" "He left." Tamar informed you. Sighing, you dropped the bag and ran your hands through your hair. "Fuck." "Sorry. I didn't..." You whipped around to face her. "Didn't what? I told you over and over again to drop it. Now look at what you did." "I just thought..." "No. Just stop." you told her. "He's been my friend for years and you fucked that up. Things will never be the same between us." Tamar stepped forward. "You don't know that." You scoffed. "Yeah, sure. Just look at the way he reacted." You mimicked his gag before giving her a dirty look. Then turned away from her and started cleaning up again. "Look, I.." "Drop it." you demanded, interrupting her. She didn't say another word as she grabbed the broom and went back in to the living room. You were very thankful that she listened to you this time. If she would have kept at it, you probably would have started yelling at her.
About twenty minutes later, you set the two trash bags down and looked around. "That everything?" "I think so." answered Tamar as she indicated for you to help her with the coffee table. You grabbed one end and together the two of you carried it to its rightful place. Stepping back, you looked around once more but didn't see anything out of place. "Let's get the trash out and call it a night." Tamar took one of the bags, leaving the other for you. "You can crash here if you want." Those magic words made your sore muscles throb. Between helping her finish moving in, all the dancing, and now the cleaning, it had been a long day. Well... that and the Yongguk disaster but that would have to wait another day. "Yeah thanks." you replied. You followed her to the front door and opened it to find a person standing there. Startled, she jumped back in to you though you barely noticed. Your heart leaped in to your throat as you stared at Yongguk. The man had his fist up, as if he was just about to knock. "Oh, sorry." He glanced at you but quickly looked away as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Um..." The three of you stood there in awkward silence for a moment before Tamar spoke up. "I'll just take these," she took the trash bag from you, "And you two can talk." She squeezed passed Yongguk while simultaneously pushing him into the apartment. Then she closed the door. If it was awkward before, now you didn't know what to call it. He could barely look you in the eye as he shifted uncomfortably. Sighing, you said, "Look, just forget about tonight, okay? It's not a big deal. And I meant what I said, you really should call Jessica. She seemed nice." That finally made him look at you with a surprise look on his face. "Huh? Oh.. yeah. Um... But..." He furrowed his eyebrows and licked his lips. Then he took in a deep breath and closed the distance between the two of you. Before you had a chance to do anything, he cupped your face with his hands and pressed his lips against yours. You were so shocked, all you could do was stand there. This wasn't happening. This couldn't be happening. What the fuck was happening?? He pulled back and looked at you. "Okay this is weird, isn't it?" That jolted you from your mental panic and you swiftly stepped back from him. "What? I mean, yes. Yeah. It's weird. Why would you....?" You glared at him, anger rising in your chest. "I told you to forget about it. I don't need your pity." His eyes widened. "No, no, no. That's not.." "I said it's not a big deal and I meant it. You shouldn't.." He grabbed your arms, preventing you from moving further away. "That's not what I meant!" The words you were going to say died on your tongue as you gaped at him. "I just... I..." He let go of you to run his hands through his hair as he turned away from you. "Fuck." He took a couple of deep breaths before turning back to you. "It's weird cause I never thought that this could happen." "This?" "Yeah, this." He indicated the two of you. "Us. I never thought... And now I know that yeah, it's a possibility and I don't know what to do or how handle it or..." Your heartbeat sped up. A possibility. This was possible. "Let's try this again." He stepped closer and cupped your face once more. Then he kissed you a second time. When he pulled back, the two of you shared a look. A silent agreement passed between you and you gently put your hands on his arms. "Third time's the charm." he stated before kissing you once more. Something inside you bloomed, causing a rush of happiness to well up in you. This time when he pulled away, you couldn't help but smile. "There it is." he proclaimed, smiling as well. A small giggle escaped you. "Okay, yeah. It's weird." He stepped back and laughed. "Yes! Thank you!" Then he quickly closed the distance and wrapped his arms around you. You hugged him back, relishing his embrace. The sound of a door opening caused you both to jump back, separating the two of you. "Sorry, sorry." Tamar offered as she closed the front door. "Don't mind me, I'm not even here. Just turn off the lights." She swiftly fled the living room. That did you in and you dissolved in to a giggle fit. You couldn't stop. It also didn't help that Yongguk was hysterically giggling as well. The two of you started shushing each other, which of course turned out to be counter-productive. So you did the only other thing you could think of and kissed him. That did the trick, though the small moan he let out sent a shiver down your spine. "I'd say I'll walk you home, but I really don't want this night to end." he declared. You eyed the couch and looked at him. He seemed to have the same thought as he glanced at it as well. Taking your hand, he led you to the couch and when you sat down, he scooted closer so the two of you were pressed up against each other. This time, you didn't move away. "First thing's first." He shifted a little so he could look at you better. "No matter what happens, you'll always be my best friend." You sighed in relief. "That's exactly what I was afraid of. And, same. Always." He smiled. "Good. And... I don't have to call Jessica, do I?" You barked out a laugh before covering your mouth to silence yourself. "No. Absolutely not. I will end you." That made him laugh this time. "Good, good." Then he smirked. "You do realize this means I'm entitled to steal your fries." "Again, I will end you." He chuckled and shook his head. Then he pulled you in for another kiss, which you eagerly gave in to. The feeling of his soft lips against yours was heavenly. "Okay." you murmured. "The fry stealing is a possibility." "A possibility." he agreed before kissing you again.

Red Curtain (Bang Yongguk/Smut)
A/N: The smut isn’t really the focus point on this one. It’s more about the build up and the feelings around it all. I really hope you guys enjoy and please leave feedback.
Tumblr media
tags: Burlesque, glittery costumes, Yongguk in a suit, Piano player! Yongguk, fist fights (vague), some old school 50′s romantic stuff, a day on the town and some sweet sweet love making
Word count: 8385 words (my too much gene happened)
His hand came up to adjust the cuff of his shirt sleeve, a small smile playing on his lips as he did so. Yongguk entered the club fearlessly and revelled in the sound of heavy bass filling his ears. He felt good.
It wasn’t often he got to indulge in evenings like this, being a hard worker he tended to just go home after a long day at work. But tonight he was feeling energetic and decided to treat himself to a show. The show his work buddies couldn’t seem to shut up about and he wanted to see for himself.
“Burlesque.” The word sounded funny in his mouth. It wasn’t a word he had ever really heard before, yet it seemed to be so incredibly popular. The club was full, men and women sitting and staring at the stage waiting for the next performance. Yongguk had no idea what to expect as he entered, but he was excited none the less.
Brushing past a waitress dressed in a corset, suspenders, thigh high stockings and high heels, he smiled at her gently. He was starting to feel a bit out of place and awkward. She was very pretty and when he took a look around to the other’s, he could see every woman there was beautiful. It was paradise on earth.
The club was filled with rich reds, heavy curtains keeping the stage hidden from the world before show time. The soft scent of perfume and alcohol filled the room and there was a soft chatter mixed with laughter. Groups of men with cigar’s sat at their tables close to the stage, waiting for the show to start. The band was sat in the corner of the stage playing a lively tune as an interlude to the rest of the evening’s events.
“Are you going to have a seat handsome?” The waitress returned to Yongguk and he felt a blush set on his cheeks. “Oh, yes here is fine.” He stuttered and she smiled at him, it was so obvious he was knew. The new ones always sat furthest away from the stage, not knowing what to expect. “Can I get you a drink?” She asked, leaning down to his level and Yongguk couldn’t help but swallow thickly at the close proximity of her cleavage. “Whiskey, please.” He said and she smiled, knowing the effect she had on men. All the woman here knew that they had that effect.
You especially knew you had that effect. Looking at yourself, you touched up your lipstick and added a little more powder to your nose. Intense smokey eyes, soft pink cheeks and red lips, the show was almost ready to start.
Slipping your satin robe off of your shoulder’s, the stage help moved to put your costume on and pulled the strings of your corset tightly. Watching as your waist cinched you couldn’t help but smile as you felt a rush of adrenaline course through your body. This was what you lived for.
You rolled your stockings over your legs, clipping them to the suspenders and you pulled your heels on. You were ready and you were excited to get back out there. Loving your job made work easier and your job made you feel incredibly special.
Yongguk tapped his fingers against the table in anticipation, the lights in the room had gone dim. He felt nervous listening to the drum roll as a spotlight shined on the red curtains. They opened with a dramatic trumpet sound filling the room and the watchers clapped.
The curtains pulled back to reveal two girls, each holding large feathered fans that were white and red. Yongguk could see that they were hiding someone, presumably the star of the show from the way the others looked at the stage anticipation. The girls holding the fans shook them along to the beat of the music before on lifted the top fan away, uncovering the face of possibly the most beautiful person Yongguk had ever seen.
You cheekily winked at the crowd as the fan lifted away from your face and made a surprised face as the fan closest to the ground lifted away, revealing your heel covered feet. Yongguk wasn’t nervous anymore, no he was intrigued. He leaned forward slightly, almost as if he wanted to get closer to the stage as the other fans lifted away from you completely. You were wearing a black sheer dressing gown, that fell down to the floor, embellished with red feathers on the ends of the sleeves and the lining of it.
You waved at the crowd cheekily, greeting the familiars in the club before waltzing your way over to the band on the other end of the stage. Yongguk was absolutely amazed watching you, smiling at your little gestures and feigned innocence as you acted for the crowd. You were absolutely captivating and he was starting to understand what the buzz was about.
He watched as you worked through your dance, swinging your hips to the music seductively and smiling as your fingers moved to the little silk belt holding your dressing gown together. You undid it slowly, not taking your eyes off the audience even once before revealling your glittering corset.
Yongguk was absolutely amazed, the way you revealed yourself with such confidence and the way you looked. The corset was red satin with black boning, little diamonds embellishing it and catching the stage lights. Your panties matched, red satin and black lace leaving very little to the imagination. A simple black garter belt held your stockings up and your heels were red, all very cohesive and all of his favorite colors.
The dressing gown slipped off of your shoulders and onto the ground and you winked before walking away from the band, back to center stage. Your back faced the audience and you shook your bum a little before going through your routine and slowly your corset came off.
Smiling softly, he propped his elbow up on the table watching as you moved to undo your corset. It almost felt like when you looked at the crowd you were making eye contact with him. Of course Yongguk knew that, that was insane but he admired the fact that you could make people feel that way. You threw the corset to the side, your chest now only being covered by a thin, black lace bra and you shook your chest slightly. Afterall, burlesque had some comedy to it. You smiled as the crowd laughed slightly. You lived to entertain.
To say that Yongguk was sad your performance ended was an understatement. You were his introduction to burlesque and he had seemingly fallen in love with you at first sight. Even though your performance was over, he stayed. He stayed and watched the other performances. They were all good as well, but you had stayed in his mind. Imprinted in the best way.
The final performance had ended and it felt like the evening only lasted 20 minutes in total, with how much he was enjoying himself. But in reality he had spent almost his whole night there. Looking at his watch and noticing it was 3 a.m and the club was closing.
“Have a good time handsome?” The waitress who had been serving him the entire night asked. “Oh, yeah I did.” She smiled softly at his answer and took his empty glass. “You’re a first timer. I can tell. I’m glad you enjoyed yourself.” She said and he turned pink. “Make sure you come back.” She added and he simply nodded, heading for the door. “I will.” He said shortly, smiling at her before leaving the club.
You yawned as you slipped your coat on, rubbing your eyes slightly as you pulled your regular shoes on. These heels were significantly shorter and your regular clothing was significantly less extravagent and sparkly. But you managed to keep your personality shining through, even with your shin length pencil skirt and oxford heels.
“Girls, I’ll be heading home now.” You told the other girls in the dressing room who were taking their makeup off and getting ready to leave. With a choir of  “Bye’s” and “See you later’s” you exited through the back door. You were greeted with the semi dark alley that you left through every work day. Moving to close your coat, you felt a hand on your hip and you jumped back in surprise.
“You were on stage earlier tonight.” The voice said and you turned to look at your agressor. He looked greasy, hair hanging over his eyes and breath reeking of alcohol. “Yes I was.” You smiled politely, just praying that your kindness would be enough to get the man to leave you be. He huffed, looking you up and down and disappointment was very visable on his face. “I should’ve known you’d be disappointing up close.” He said and his other hand came up, cupping your cheek. You cringed, his dirty hands touching your face was more than you could handle. “Please leave me alone.” You said, trying to move away from his touch and leave.
However, his hand came up and grabbed your arm. You were now pressed against the brick wall of the club and had nowhere to escape too. “You pretty things on stage are never what you say you are.” You couldn’t tell if he was angry and going to hurt you or just trying to scare you. But his face got really close to yours and his hands held you in place, you had no place to go once again. As his face got closer and closer, you closed your eyes not wanting to have any more visuals to this experience. Only to feel him getting ripped off of you and pushed to the concrete.
Your eyes flew open, confused as to what happened. Your agressor was now sprawled out on the ground, too drunk to stand back up after the forcefull blow he had received. You looked at the man standing over him, who had his fists clenched and one strand of his slicked back hair had fallen into his face.
“I hate cowards who sneak up on women and drink themselves to death.” His voice was incredibly deep, surprising you greatly as you stood still against the brick wall. The drunk finally pushed himself onto his feet and managed to scramble away, running as fast as he could. A coward indeed.
Your saviour looked at you, warm dark eyes scanning you over as you stood frozen. “He didn’t hurt you did he?” He asked and you shook your head no. He looked familiar, like you had seen him in the club that night. “Thank you.” Your voice was small and shakier than you cared to admit. “It’s no problem really.” Yongguk said and smiled, he would have done this for any woman, not just you. But the fact that he had helped you out made him feel even better.
You looked just as beautiful as you did on stage, even in your regular clothes and no makeup. Some stray glitter was scattered over your face, but it added a certain appeal in his opinion.
Yongguk stood up straight, adjusting his clothes slightly before nodding. “I’ll be going then. Please stay safe.” He said and moved to walk back down the exit of the alley. “Wait!” You called after him, scrambling to walk beside him. “Can I get your name and maybe buy you breakfast?” You asked, a small hopefull smile in your face. You wanted him to say yes, you wanted to thank him.
Yongguk stopped and turned to look at you. However he had to look away quickly, feeling shy under your gaze. “Uhm, my name’s Yongguk and yes you can buy me breakfast.” He said softly and finally locked eyes with you. “It’s nice to meet you, Yongguk.” You said and stuck your hand out for him to shake. “I’m Y/N.”
You couldn’t help but look Yongguk over as you sat across from eachother in the diner. He was incredibly handsome. Warm eyes, attractive face and an incredibly deep voice. He was wearing a simple suit, showing that he was a working man and had slight bags under his eyes. But none of these features stifled how attractive he was, especially as he drank his coffee slowly.
It’s was 4 a.m and your local diner was serving breakfast for the early bird workers. It was a place you often came after work for a nice cup of coffee before heading home. Today wasn’t any different, only now you had a guest.
“You look familiar.” You said and he looked at you with wide eyes. He cleared his throat and wiped his lips with his napkin before replying. “I was at the club last night, I was leaving when I spotted what was happening in the alley.” His words surprised you, you had never seen him at the club before. You grabbed your own mug, taking a sip of your coffee gingerly because it was too hot and maybe because you wanted to leave a good impression on him.
“I’d never been there before.” Yongguk started, not looking at you again. His ears and cheeks were tinted pink in embarrassment as he spoke. “But you were my favorite performer tonight. Not just to be shameless.” He said and you couldn’t help but blush yourself. Sure, you had been complimented on your performances outside of the club. However this seemed so genuine.
“I’m glad you had a good time.” You said softly with a little laugh. Yongguk noticed his compliment flustered you and he thought it was cute as your cheeks turned pink. The waitress came by and placed your food infront of you and smiled greatfully. You never realised how hungry you were after work until food was placed in front of you.
“Now, I’m probably going to shatter that lovely image you have of me on stage here. But I am absolutely starving so I am not going to hold back.” You said and listened as his laugh filled your ears. In that moment, you decided that his laugh might have been the best you had ever heard.
“Please enjoy your food. You worked hard last night.” He said and you smiled before digging into your eggs. Yongguk watched before starting to eat himself. You had seemed so unreal the night before. As if you were almost a figment of his imagination, yet here you were, sharing a breakfast with him.
“So it seems you know a little bit about me. Tell me about yourself, what do you do? What are your passions?” You asked, genuinely interested in him. This meeting was unconventional but it made you seem almost more relaxed with him. “interesting choice in questions.” Yongguk stated and you smiled cheekily. You propped your head up on your hand and looked at him intently. “I’m curious about you.” You told him and meaning it completely.
He didn’t know how to respond at first, but mentally cursed his cheeks and ears for giving his emotions away. He was also confused as to why you were curious about him, in his own eyes he seemed horribly average.
“I work in an office. A 9 to 5 job, every week day.” Yongguk said, trying to hide the hatred for his work. It was never something he wanted to do, but it was the encouraged choice. “Ah, but your work is not what you’re passionate about.” You stated, taking a bite of your toast. It was quite evident in his voice that his job was simply a way to make money. “You’re right. It’s not. But I work hard. I’m steady, sometimes that’s better than exploring your passions.” He said and he sounded unhappy. You frowned, allowing your hand to reach out to his. “Stability is nice. But happiness is even better. What brings you joy?” You wanted to provide comfort for him.
“I like music.” Yongguk confessed softly, looking at your hand that was on his. “I love music. I love playing the piano.” You couldn’t hide your smile at all as it stretched over your face. You grabbed his hand and examined his fingers. “These seem like piano playing fingers.” You commented, running your own fingers over his skin. “They seem like skilled piano playing fingers.” You corrected, listening to his stifled laughter. You looked up from his hand and into his eyes. “I’d love to hear you play.” You told him and released his hand. He felt like he was back in school, staring at that girl he used to like. He felt giddy.
The rest of your breakfast was pretty silent, general small talk and light laughter. Yongguk found himself absentmindedly looking at you, you seemed to bring your elegance and quirkiness that you had on stage with you everywhere you went. He could tell you loved your job and he couldn’t help but wonder what that was like.
You exited the diner together and the city was now waking up. It was 5 in the morning and as tired as you were before, you felt full of life again. Yongguk was a breath of fresh air to you.
“Thank you again for helping me out.” You told him, smiling softly. You didn’t really want this to end, you were having a good time. “It’s really not a big deal. any decent person would have. Thank you for breakfast.” He thanked you, bowing slightly. That was when you had a thought that made you smile a little brighter.
“Do you have some more time?” You sounded eager, a little more eager than you would have liked. But it had been a while since you had had the company of anyone outside of work in a while and this was just really nice.
He froze for a moment, thinking about the fact that he hadn’t gotten any sleep. However Yongguk realised he had fallen into a pattern a weekly pattern, a monthly pattern even. Today was as good of a day as any to break that pattern in his opinion.
“I have all the time in the world.” He smiled at you and you felt butterflies in your stomach. “Good. I want to show you something.” You said and grabbed his hand. He felt his heart pounding in his chest at the sudden contact, completely flustered and nervous. “What do you want to show me?” He asked, walking with you as you pulled him along. “A place to think. A place to take a deep breath.” You simply responded, not wanting to give away too much. Your mother always told you men liked a woman with an air of mystery to them. However your mother also always said that you shouldn’t take your clothes off on a stage.
Picking and choosing between your mothers’ advice was a talent of yours.
With every step you both took it seemed like the world was waking up a little more. You dodged cars as you crossed the street, waved to people you recognized and held Yongguk’s hand tightly as you pulled him towards your safe spot.
“Okay now just climb up here.” You said and looped around the back of a tall building. Yongguk was confused, quiet as you let his hand go climb up a fire escape. He could tell you were close to the harbor, the sounds of freighter ships and water being incredibly loud. “I’m-” He was going to say confused before you started laughing and pushing your hair out of your face. The action itself was simple, but just so attractive in his eyes. “I realise I sound crazy. But trust me. It’s the best view in the city... or maybe just my favorite view in the city.” You corrected yourself and noticed Yongguk just looking at you.
“If it’s your favorite view in the city, it must be the best. Let’s go.” His words were warm and comforting, making you feel all warm and mushy inside. You watched him as he started climbing up the fire escape, going first because you were wearing a skirt and even though he had seen you in lingerie before, you still had modesty.
You both reached the top, Yongguk helping you up onto the roof by lending you a hand. His other hand held your waist carefully to steady you and for a split second, or what seemed like a split second, your eyes were locked. You pulled away, swallowing thickly. Many men had approached you, especially men who came to the club. However Yongguk was different. He was shy and he was considerate and not as straightforward. It had a much better appeal than others.
“So this is the best view in the city.” Yongguk said and looked out at the water. You couldn’t help but blush, this was your spot and you had now exposed it to criticism. Yongguk placed his hands into his pockets as he stared out. The sun light reflected off the waves and big ships were on the horizon.
“The ships, remind me of people.” You started, moving to stand next to Yongguk and stare out over the water. “They have a schedule. They travel hours to do their jobs and then they go back, or where ever they are ordered to go. They make less noise than people though.” You said with a little laugh at your explanation. Yongguk understood what you meant, however poorly expressed it was. “I’m sorry that makes no sense.” You quickly said when your words were met with silence.
“No, I understand. Even with the colorfull explanation.” He laughed before pausing again. “It seems like you like your job.” He commented with a carefull tone. “I do. I love my job. But you can’t help but wonder about other career choices. After all beauty fades.” Your words came off sadder then you intended and you kicked your heel against the ground.
“No beauty doesn’t fade. Especially not a beauty like yours. Your personality is half the charm.” Yongguk said and you laughed. You knew it was just a poor choice of words and you could take a joke. “Are you saying I’m not visually beautiful?” You asked through laughs. Yongguk’s eyes went wide with panic and he frantically tried to think of what to say, stuttering a few syllables. “Calm down, sir. I’m only joking.” You said, looking away from him and out to the ships again.
Yongguk sighed in relief, starting to laugh a little himself. He hadn’t flirted with someone in a while, it seemed he had lost his way with words.
Leaning slightly, you nudged him to get his attention. “Thank you.” You looked at him, your eyes glittering as the sun caught them. “I’m glad you understood what I meant. I saw you tonight for the first time ever. Your personality carries into your everyday life. Even if I never see you again after today, I know I’ll remember you.” His words almost made you tear up. Being memorable wasn’t something you ever truly strived for, but it meant a lot that someone you had just met saw something in you.
“I bet you say that to all the girls.” You joked, trying to hide just how deep his words hit you, in a positive way. “Actually this is the longest I have been with one in a long time.” Yongguk was embarrassed but he felt the need to be honest with you.
It seemed the roles had changed and now Yongguk grabbed your hand. “My turn to show you something.” He said and pulled you along.
The city was fully awake now, the sidewalk alot harder to maneuver but you and Yongguk managed. His hand never let go of you once, but he still clearly lead the way and cleared the path for you to make it through easily. It was a simple gesture, but a sweet one none the less.
So now you both stood in the train station. “Now, now, now. I just met you sir. I don’t think I’m ready to go away with you.” Yongguk laughed at your joke, his fingers lacing with yours. “No, this is what I wanted to show you.” He gestured to the people waiting on the platforms, the people buying their tickets and people running to catch their trains.
“I like coming here when I need to think. Like you with your ships. These people are all on schedule to do things and come back. Almost everyone experiences the same things in life, yet the stories are always different. It’s nice to think I’m not the only one who feels this way.” Yongguk explained and you felt your heart lurch forward.
Never in your whole life had you made a connection this deep with someone so quickly and Yongguk felt the same.
“Yongguk.” Your voice was soft as you said his name. You continued to look at the people as he hummed in response. “You need to stop making me fall in love so fast. I think it’s giving me whiplash.” You admitted and a pitifull sight caught your eyes.
His chest tightened with an overwhelming feeling and a wave of emotions. Turning to look at you, he noticed your attention was on a couple in the station. The girl’s luggage was in her hand as she held her lover close. Tears streaming down her face as they said goodbye to eachother.
“It’s sad, I wonder if she’s leaving for good.” Yongguk thought out loud and you smiled softly. “It’s always sad seeing love being pulled apart.” You squeezed his hand softly. “But being pulled apart at least means they got together in the first place.” You were adding on to eachother’s sentences and you felt like a school girl with her crush.
The sound of piano filling the station distracted you from your thoughts and you turned your head to look at the source. In the corner of the station, a man sat at a piano to entertain the people waiting.
“Seems like I’ll be hearing you play sooner than I thought.” You said and Yongguk looked at you with a raised brow. “What?” He asked and you ignored his question, walking off into the direction of the piano.
Yongguk stood frozen as he watched you walk away and towards the pianist. You tapped the man’s shoulder and the music stopped as he looked at you. You were talking, a beautiful smile over your face as you gestured to Yongguk. The pianist nodded and stood up from his bench and you smiled even brighter. Making eye contact with Yongguk, you gestured for him to come over.
He felt a big wave of nerves as he approached the piano, knowing you meant for him to play. “You’re crazy, you know.” He told you before bowing and saying hello to the pianist. “So I’ve been told. Now sit and play. Blow me away.” You said and pushed him towards the bench. Yongguk took a deep breath as he sat, not only would he now be playing for you but for a train station filled with people.
He had made the choice that today would be great day to break pattern, boy had he under estimated how much he would actually be breaking his pattern.
You sat down next to him on the bench, shoulders touching and your leg touching his. You were watching his finger’s intently as they decided what to play and you couldn’t help but admire his hands. It felt like your brain went into the gutter as you did so, imagining his hands touching your skin. But thankfully, the notes that started playing snapped you out of your thoughts.
His touches on the key were light, yet they created a beautiful tune. It was a light and airy song, something different than the heavy songs that were playing in the club all the time.
You simply watched as his fingers danced over the keys and you leaned over, resting your head on his shoulder. Yongguk was a blushing mess before this but this really elevated it all. But he felt good, he hadn’t played for people in a long time, but it was so nice to him. He wanted to do this forever, he was passionate about it.
He continued to play, people now standing to watch the pianist. Not a large group but enough to make you smile at the small gesture of appreciation. Yongguk however refused to look up from the keys, in the fear that he would mess up before his song was over. Turning your head, you watch his face. Concentration was all over it but there was a small smile playing on his lips. He was enjoying this.
He finished and you lifted your head from his shoulder with a proud smile. The people watching clapped lightly and he felt his cheeks turn beet red.
“That was beautiful. It seemed like you enjoyed it too. I know I did.” You said, eyes staring into his. Now Yongguk was going through a mental debate. He was so happy could kiss you and your lips were so horribly inviting. But it was so soon, he had just met you.
Your faces were close and his breath fanned over your lips. “I- I’m really glad I went to your show last night.” Yongguk said and you nodded. “I’m glad too.” You said and stood up from the bench. Thanking the pianist, you left with Yongguk in tow.
No that the moment was over, Yongguk felt silly for not taking the chance. Especially seeing you walk in front of him, he was wondering what was next because now, now he was in and he didn’t want this day to end.
Yongguk grabbed your hand, making you turn around and collide with his chest. “Hello.” You said in surprise as your free hand pressed against his chest to brace yourself. “I’m breaking my pattern today.” Yongguk started, words shaking slightly as his eyes flickered down to your lips. “Okay.” You responded softly and waited for him to finish what he was saying. His eyes flickered down to your lips again and you caught on. “If you want to kiss me, you don’t have to ask.” You smiled, your hand slowly moving up his chest to wrap your arm around his neck. His eyes widened at your words and how you seemingly managed to read his mind.
Leaning forward, his lips met yours and you smiled against him. How this felt so right confused you, but sometimes things just don’t make sense and this was one of them.
Your fingers played with the hairs on the back of his neck as your lips moved against his. His hand released yours and moved to wrap around your waist and pull you against him tighter. This felt so right and Yongguk was regretting nothing about his day. Even though it was a very long one.
Humming against his lips, you pulled away and took a deep breath. It really was like a scene in a movie to those who didn’t know what was going on. Even for you, it felt unreal. Especially when he pressed his forehead to yours.
“Why am I so comfortable with you?” He asked, feeling so utterly confused at his emotions. “I don’t know but I feel the same way.” Your hand moved again as you spoke, now caressing his cheek lightly and moving to his lips. You ran your thumb over them and bit your bottom lip slightly. This man was singlehandedly the most attractive man you had ever come across, not only physically but intellectually.
Watching you bite your bottom lip brought him back to seeing you on stage. Only this was better, this wasn’t a show, this was all for him.
Leaning forward, you burried your face into his chest. There was comfortable silence surrounding you both even though you were in a highly crowded train station. As you inhaled his scent, the mix of coffee and whiskey from the night before, you realised how tired you were. Feeling so safe and comfortable allowed your body to relax and exhaustion was setting in. However the yawn you felt bubbling up stressed you out, you didn’t want to think you were tired of him.
As you yawned, Yongguk laughed and looked at you. “It’s been a long day for you too hasn’t it?” He asked, no judgement in his voice and no assumptions about your feelings. “Yeah it has, I’m really sorry. I’m having such a good time.” You said and pecked his lips again, maybe to prove a point but also because you wanted too. “The good time doesn’t have to end. I live nearby, if you would like to lay down... I realise how straight forward this is.” Yongguk rambled making you giggle. It was straight forward and you understood he didn’t mean any harm to it.
“Yeah it is straightforward. But you’ve seen me in lingerie. It doesn’t get much more straight forward than that.” Yongguk instantly turned pink at your words and you stifled a laugh. You weren’t wrong and he knew that. Grabbing your hand, he remained silent as he tugged you towards the exit and the laughter you were holding in escaped you.
He wasn’t kidding when he said he lived nearby. Only really needing to turn a few street corners before reaching his apartment building. Yongguk seemed humble of his home. It was a small apartment on the third floor of a grungey brick building but you admired it. It was simple and it suited him. You yourself didn’t live large either, being an entertainer didn’t make you as much as you would have liked. Your apartment looked quite similar to this, maybe a bit more color around but the size was similar. It was homey none the less.
Yongguk had hardly looked up from the floor since you entered his home, he was debating why he suggested this in the first place. His home was small and he considered you to be quite glamorous and thought your home would be incredibly extravagent.
“Your apartment looks a lot like mine.” You said and looked around with a smile. Yongguk finally looked up, surprised at you words and now feeling a lot more comfortable. “Let me take your coat.” He quickly said and realised he had lost his manners a little. “Oh, thank you.” You said as he stood behind you, slipping your jacket off of your shoulders. The action was simple, but so undeniably sexy to him and when you ran your fingers through your hair after, he couldn’t help but swallow thickly.
Your heels clicked on the floor as you took a step forward, adjusting your blouse and pencil skirt. You weren’t nervous and you weren’t as tired as you were not half an hour ago. Possibly you got your second wind, or when you turned and saw Yongguk rolling his button up’s sleeves something inside of you gave you new energy.
“I can make some coffee if you want, or if you want to lay down you can.” He said softly, walking towards you. He was sweet, that was for sure. Once he was in arms length, you took his shirt between your fingers and pulled him even closer. Then you noticed the tattoo on his lower arm, tattoos weren’t a common thing and this made him even more special.
Allowing your fingers to trace over the lines, your other arm wrapped around the back of his neck. Yongguk was just watching you, fascinated with the way you were fascinated by him. “Do you have anymore?” You asked, finally looking up and in his eyes. His tongue swiped over his bottom lip before he nodded. “A few.” He said, eyes not leaving yours. He was so intriguing to you, and the sexual tension had grown instantaneously.
Yongguk’s lips found yours, alot needier than before and it caught you off guard. But you definitely didn’t mind, your hands moving up his body and tangling into his hair. His hands held your waist, tugging you closer to him to feel your chest press against his. The action was confident and it made you moan against his lips. His grip on your waist tightened as he was trying to decide if he could let his hands roam your body, still not incredibly sure how far this was going to go.
Your tongue swiped over his bottom lip and you tugged his hair slightly. His breath hitched in his throat in reaction, causing a low groan to escape him. The sound instantly fueled the heat that was forming between your legs and you decided, you wanted to hear that sound again.
Moving your lips down to his jaw, his hold on your waist tightened further as he sighed. “I want to see them.” You started, kissing his jaw lightly. “Your other tattoos.” You added on and he moaned as you nipped his skin lightly.
“Fuck.” He mumbled under his breath, grabbing your hand and tugging you further into his home. You stumbled lightly as he did so and pulled you into his bedroom.
His kiss was even more unexpected now, catching you by surprise and moving you back against his wall. Yongguk felt addicted to the feeling of your lips on his, it was like they were made for him and he couldn’t get enough. Your kisses were sloppy, teeth clashing slightly and so horribly intoxicating.
Your hands moved to the collar of his shirt, fumbling with his tie and trying to get it undone. Laughing as you couldn’t manage to do it without looking. Yongguk pulled his lips away from yours and you could focus on the work your fingers were doing. He smiled, the action being incredibly sweet and clumsy and it was such a nice contrast to the hot and heavy.
“Darn things.” You said as you finally got it loose, tossing it to the side. You sighed in relief and he started laughing, finding the whole thing horribly endearing. Pushing yourself off of the wall, you moved towards his bed and looked back at him with a coy smile.
This was different than how teasing happened on stage. Burlesque was all about the show never more than that.
His hand came around to your front, resting just under your breast as his palm flattened against the fabric of your shirt. Your back now pressing to his chest and his other hand moved your hair to the side. Yongguk leaned down, kissing the side of your neck and taking his time to make a mark. Generally your job wouldn’t have allowed the marks but you had never had a problem following this rule. Breaking the rules was good every once in a while, especially when it felt so right.
Your hand moved to his own that was on your torso. Grabbing it, you moved it up and allowed him to cup your breast. Yongguk moaned into your neck and he massaged your breast lightly. His lips moved to your ear and goosebumps covered your skin. “Do you have any tattoos for me to find?” He asked, his fingers moving to the buttons of your blouse. His fingers were notably more nimble than yours as he undid them all swiftly, untucking your shirt from your skirt. Pianist fingers most definitely.
His hands started exploring the new skin, revelling how soft it was between his rough fingers. You sighed in enjoyment, your head rolling back to rest on his shoulder. “Yongguk-” You sighed, feeling his finger tips graze over your nipples.
Not being able to handle it anymore, you turned in his arms and slipped your blouse off of your shoulders and onto the floor. Yongguk thought you were even more beautiful like this. Your underwear wasn’t extravagent like your stage outfit, simple white bra covering your chest. Yongguk hummed in approval at the sight of you up close.
You reached the last buttons, smiling at the large chest tattoo you had revealed. “This is beautiful.” You said softly, tracing your fingers over the intricate design. Yongguk could feel goosebumps coating his skin especially as you pushed the clothing off of his shoulders. You smiled up at him before capturing his lips for another kiss.
His hands made quick work of your bra as you kissed, not wanting to waste any more time and wanting to explore your body as much as he could. After your bra, your skirt soon followed and fell to the floor. It left you almost completely bare to him.
But you weren’t uncomfortable or shy or feeling odd at all. You had met this man today and you weren’t scared of a thing.
“I was hoping to find a tattoo.” He said and you held back a laugh. “Sorry to disappoint you.” You said and let out a small squeal as he pushed you back onto the bed. “You haven’t disappointed me this far. I’ll let this slide.” He joked while crawling over you. “What a relief.” You responded, enjoying how light hearted this whole situation was.
He settled inbetween your legs and started leaving open mouthed kisses over your chest. Your fingers tangled in his hair, tugging and moving him where you wanted him. Yongguk didn’t mind at all, he loved that you weren’t afraid to direct him where you wanted him.
The trail of kisses lead to your nipple and he wrapped his lips around the nub gentley. He was listening intently to your sighs and his fingers danced over your stomach, gradually going lower and lower. Tracing over the lace of your panties, he moved them to the side. You were practically shivering with anticipation at his actions, your grip on his hair tightening.
His index finger swiped over your slit, teasing you a little. After all teasing was half the fun. Your breaths were shaky and even more so as he slowly slipped a finger into you, curling it antagonizingly slow. You were starting to get frustrated and Yongguk could tell, his eyes being trained on your expressions.
“You’re impatient.” He commented and placed a kiss on your skin. “Only a little.” You said, stopping your comment with a gasp as he added another finger. “I’m used to getting what I want.” You finished, pulling his lips up to yours. The pace of his fingers gradually increased, leaving you tetering on the edge.
Yongguk’s lips teased you, lightly grazing over your jaw as your sounds progressed. He didn’t want to stifle any of them, he was enjoying them far too much. He was also enjoying the feeling of you tightening around his fingers. You gripped the sheets with your other hand, feeling your orgasm fast approaching. It was so intense, making your toes curls and your breath get caught in your throat as you were thrown over the edge. He simply watched, curling his fingers to ride it all out and to prolong this beautiful sight.
Your legs closed on instinct and your curled into Yongguk. He was smiling petting your hair as you came down from your high. You moved your hand, palming him through his pants and feeling the need to return the favor. He helped you push the clothing down his legs, taking his underwear with it. You bit your lip at the sight of him laying proud against his stomach, before reaching for his cock.
You stroked him softly as you laced kisses over his chest tattoo, running your lips over the flesh. Moving to his neck, you paused and looked at him. His eyes were shut, long eyelashes seemingly stretching for miles and soft sighs came out of his mouth. “Can I leave marks?” You asked, kissing his neck lightly, You didn’t want to possibly get him in trouble. “Yes please.” He said, the words coming out more as a beg as your hand picked up speed.
Smiling, you got to work adding your own personal artwork to his body. Moving all around his neck, small purple marks started to bloom. You might have been overly proud but he really did look like a piece of art in your eyes.
Your thumb swiped over his slit, making a small growl almost leave him. Yongguk’s eyes fluttered open before stopping your hand with his own and looking at you. “I want to be inside of you.” His words were low and hushed as his hips bucked slightly. Nodding, you pulled him to lay over you and wrapped your arms around his neck.
“If that’s what you want.” You paused, kissing his lips and resuming your sentence. “Who am I to deny that?” Yongguk loved the way you spoke, the way you teased him and the way you kept him on his toes, this situation wasn’t any different than earlier on in the day.
Lining himself up with your core, you took a deep breath and let your fingers play with the hairs on the back of his neck. Your legs instinctively wrapped around his waist as he pushed in to you and you let out a sigh at the pressure. Yongguk released the deep groans he had been holding in when he felt your tight walls swallowing him. He hadn’t expected you to feel this good or this tight. His hands moved to your thighs and gripping the flesh when he bottomed out completely.
However he wasted no time fucking into you. His hips taking over before his mind really could. Your nails raked down his back at the sudden wave of pleasure coursing through your body. It felt like your nerves were on fire and everywhere he touched left a flame in it’s wake. It was all so intense, even his face burrying in the crook of your neck.
As he picked up the speed, he hit your sweet spot catching you off guard and making you let out a small scream. “Oh, right there.” You said, holding him down against your chest. Yongguk was letting out the most beautiful sounds by your ear, moaning as he felt your walls flutter around him. Picking up the speed a bit more, the room was now filled with the sound of skin on skin and your moans.
The sun was pouring into his bedroom, it was hardly 1 in the afternoon and anyone one of his neighbors could hear you both. In all honesty, you both could have cared less. In that moment, the only thing that mattered was how you both felt.
“I’m so close.” You whimpered and he lifted his head from your neck. Your eyes locked as his hand rubbed core lightly, knowing you might the little extra push to reach your climax. He himself was close too, refraining from holding your hips down and fucking you into the mattress.
A loud moan tore from you, only to be silenced by his lips pressing against yours. Your orgasm tore through you, leaving your body in tremors as Yongguk strived for his own release. Holding him close, you slowly started to feel overstimulated and your legs shook around his waist.
“Fuckkk.” He groaned against your lips pulling out of to finish on your abdomen. The gutteral moans that left him were absolute music to your ears as you watched him come undone on you.
He sat up straight for a moment and the room was in complete silence. His chest rose and fell deeply as you both caught your breath. You watched him, admiring his little details as you let your body relax.
Finally opening his eyes again, he looked at you. Taking note of your swollen lips, red tinted cheeks and small marks gracing your skin.
“You’re so beautiful.” He said softly, leaning over you again to place a soft kiss on your lips. “Let me clean us up.” You nodded at his words, trying to resist the horrible sleepy feeling you were experiencing. Watching him disappear to another room, your eyes fell shut. Mentally claiming you were only closing them for a moment. However when your eyes opened again, 10 minutes had passed and Yongguk had cleaned you up, slipping his button up onto you after. An arm was wrapped around you loosely and his light snoring had filled the room.
It was only logical how tired and drained you were feeling. You had been awake for almost 24 hours and it had finally hit you both. Threading your fingers through his hair lightly, you couldn’t help but smile.
“Do you have to work tonight?” His voice surprised you, considering you thought he was asleep. “Yes I do.” You answered and watched his eyes slowly open. Pulling you into him more, Yongguk held you tightly.
“I’m aware I sound like an absolute mad man. But I haven’t met anyone like you. I want to keep you, I want to love you.” He admitted to himself. Yongguk meant it, never had he had a connection with anyone like this. His previous relationships never reached the level of passion you both had reached within a few hours.
Even though your mind was tired, your brain could still register his words. Oh how sweet they were. You had to look away from him for a moment, resisting the urge to spill tears. “I want to keep you, I want to love you too.” You said softly wiping your eyes as you turned to look at him again.
His smile was so beautiful and it was what you were met with when you faced him again. “You’re beautiful on stage, but so much more beautiful like this.” His compliments were too much really, however you revelled in them. You felt like you were glowing.
“Come to my show tonight.” You said softly, wanting him near you always. Yongguk looked at you with a soft expression and you almost felt shy under his gaze. “I’ll come to all of your shows if it means I get to love you.” He smiled and it was horribly cheesy yet it tugged your heartstrings immensly. Laughing slightly, you kissed him suddenly.
“Please do, as long as you remember that I’m the on behind the red curtain.”

Come on, sleepyhead. Let's go home. (x Yongguk)
Bang Yongguk
Word count: 450 words
Scenario: From anonymous: “Bang Yongguk, honeymoon fic. I already have a prompt, hopefully you won't mind, but I have this cute idea of a traveling honeymoon. Instead of writing about the traveling, I think it would easier to do a returning home to Korea bit. Not saying that to insult you, I'm just a writer who knows the struggle and don't want to ask for a whole book here. Please and thank you!”
Genre: One shot, Soft, Fluff, Gender neutral
Little note: Hopefully this is enough. I just really need to type out this little scenario that popped into my head. Enjoy! (I miss him)
Tumblr media
Hearing a deep but soft voice calling you and feeling your hand being squeezed oh so gently, you slowly woke up, blinking your eyes open. As tired as you were, you were slightly confused for a moment, looking around yourself, eventually realizing that you were still inside the plane. Just when you were dreaming of sweet fruit juice, the wind messing up your hair as you listened to the waves melting on the beach in the distance over the sound of a loud car engine. Soft hands holding you tenderly within their grip under the shade of tall buildings and lips sweet as the fruit juice pressed against yours.
"We're here, love." Yongguk told you softly, giving your hand a little squeeze once again.
You had fallen asleep on the ride back to the home country, your hand still resting within his just like when you had fallen asleep, fingers lightly intertwined. Your eyes stayed upon your locked hands for a moment, watching the gleaming ring upon your ring finger. So, it wasn't a dream...
"No, it wasn't a dream." You heard him say with a little chuckle.
You looked up at his face blinking, only then realizing you had actually said that out loud. He had a gummy grin upon his features, and you felt slightly embarrassed but then again, that was your husband who'd heard think out loud. Your husband. You smiled and giggled a little bit.
"I feel so out of it." You confessed, rubbing your face with your free hand.
"I think we both need a good night of sleep." He said with yet another chuckle.
"We were supposed to go on honeymoon and yet I feel more tired than when we left." You told him and you both laughed.
"We did push it a little with so many road trips." He pointed out and you agreed with a little "You're right." while nodding your head. Soon you were laughing again.
With yet another gummy smile upon his face, he gently squeezed your hand that remained within his and lifted it up, leading it to his lips. The kiss he placed upon the knuckle of your ring finger was so tender you felt your heart overflow with warm joy.
"Come on, sleepyhead. Let's go home." He told you gently and you agreed with a little nod.
As you two picked up your luggage and exited the plane, all you could think of was how surreal the last few days had been and how loved you felt. As soon as you could, you took hold of his hand again, that one hand that carried your wedding vows, secretly planning to never ever let go of it again.

The Silence of Growing
Tumblr media
Request: Qhh!! Open requests? Well seeing as you write Yongguk better than anyone else I've read, could I please request #2 yongguk?
Prompt:
2) “Well, you certainly proved a point. I’m just not sure if it was the one that you wanted.”
Pairing: BAP Yongguk x Reader
Genre: Angst/Fluff
.
. Yongguk's POV
Pulling down on the hemline of his oversized, knit cardigan, Yongguk smiled at himself, taking in the image of his grin reflected back at him. He swiveled in front of the mirror one last time before nodding to himself.
Good.
He had never been the type to necessarily double, or in this case, triple check his outfit selections, but today felt different. There was a fall feeling in the air making him nearly giddy with the weather change. While some people experienced seasonal depression when the colder months hit, he seemed to have the opposite reaction. As soon as the first autumn breeze rustled past his hair, he was a different man.
"Who are you trying to look good for?" Jongup asked, lifting a brow.
Yongguk spun toward his friend lounging in the sitting area of their shared apartment. "Thank you for confirming how I good I look."
"That didn't answer my question," the younger man sighed, keeping from rolling his eyes.
"I guess I didn't realize that you expected an answer," Yongguk smirked.
"If you avoid the question, I'm just going to assume you're going to see Y/n," he muttered. Glancing toward Himchan, Jongup nodded in solidarity with the fellow friend who had now joined them in the small living room.
"You guys going on a date?" Himchan asked, glancing up at Yongguk as he plopped beside Jongup.
"We don't like to put labels on things," Yongguk hummed, checking his vibrating phone.
Y/N: I'm here.
Yongguk hastily tapped on his screen that he would be down in a moment before looking toward his friends again. "I'm not saying that there is anything wrong if we did want to put a label on our...friendship, but-"
"Relationship," Himchan corrected. "Call it what it is."
"He hates that word," Jongup grinned. "Commitment issues."
"I disagree," Yongguk said softly. "I am not afraid of commitment, I am-"
"He's afraid of what happens if the other person isn't as committed," Himchan finished. "Our softie would never admit it, but he's afraid of a broken heart."
"My heart will never break over some torrid liaison," Yongguk sighed. "Heartbreak is reserved for much more important things."
"I wonder how Y/n would feel about being called a torrid liaison," Jongup clucked.
"You won't have to wonder if we ask," Himchan teased.
"You won't have to ask if I kill you both," Yongguk grumbled.
"You're too sensitive to be the killing type," Himchan sighed. "Like a man afraid of heartbreak would ever get his hands dirty with a double murder."
"You'd be surprised," Yongguk hissed. "And for the second time, I'm not afraid of heartbreak."
"Then why are you so afraid to ask Y/n to be a couple?" Himchan asked. "You two have been seeing each other for months."
"Because love, much like time, is a self imposed construct that isn't real," Yongguk sighed. "it's just a word humans crafted to explain the feeling of chemicals combining in your brain when you're infatuated with someone."
"So what you're saying is, you don’t plan to fall in love with Y/n?" Jongup asked, tilting his head.
"If it were real, maybe," Yongguk chuckled. "But we're speaking in hypotheticals here."
“Hypotheticals or not,” Himchan hummed. “I think it’s silly for you not to admit that you at least have some sort of feeling toward Y/n.”
“Oh, i certainly have some sort of feelings,” Yongguk nodded. “But to say it’s love may be overstepping. Love is a chemical imbalance in the brain. It’s the universe’s way of making sure you continue to breed. i have enough chemical imbalances where serotonin levels are concerned, so why would i want to throw another type of imbalance around?”
“Love isn’t practical enough for you, is it?” Jongup chuckled. “It’s not opportune for you, so you’d rather pretend that it doesn’t exist.”
“There’s no pretending here, friend,” Yongguk chuckled, shaking his head. “If Y/n expects for me to fall head over heels in love, it may take awhile.”
.
Your POV
You shifted your weight from one foot to the other, gnawing on your lip in annoyance. He said he would be downstairs at least ten minutes ago, so what was taking him so long?
You and Yongguk had known each other for quite some time, but had just recently begun seeing each other more romantically within the past few months. While you weren’t rushing for him to express his feelings, you were interested in seeing a little more enthusiastic displays of his affection. You had hoped without hoping that tonight would be the night he asked you to become more serious, but if his tardiness was a precursor to the nights’ events, you were happy to never admit you had hoped at all.
“Screw it,” you grumbled, launching toward the steps of his apartment building. Might as well see what the hold up was.
Climbing stair after stair, you tried to calm your annoyance. It wasn’t the first time Yongguk had made you wait, and you were certain it wouldn’t be the last. Technically it could be seen as a larger metaphor for him making you wait to be an official couple, if that day were to ever come. Perhaps that’s why you were so irked. You weren’t just annoyed by his lack of punctuality today, but in general.
Reaching the landing of Yongguk’s floor, you stomped toward his apartment. Reeling back your annoyance, you knocked on the door, instantly becoming more annoyed as no one appeared to open it.
For a second, you were worried. What if he had slipped and hit his head on a counter top and was passed out on the floor? What if he had fell victim to a mounting anxiety attack and decided to lock himself in his room instead?
Feeding in to your imagination, you found your palm on the knob, and gave a gentle push. The door sprung open with little effort and you quickly slid into the entryway.
You suddenly felt incredibly foolish as you heard the laughter echoing from the living area and down the hallway. If Yongguk were hurt or upset, surely his friends wouldn’t be laughing. A heat of embarrassment began to travel up your neck as you heard Yongguk’s voice as well.
“Oh, i certainly have some sort of feelings,” You heard Yongguk insist. “But to say it’s love may be overstepping. Love is a chemical imbalance in the brain. It’s the universe’s way of making sure you continue to breed. i have enough chemical imbalances where serotonin levels are concerned, so why would i want to throw another type of imbalance around?”
Tilting your head, the heat of embarrassment quickly changed to a heated anger. What was he talking about?
“Love isn’t practical enough for you, is it?” Jongup chuckled. “It’s not opportune for you, so you’d rather pretend that it doesn’t exist.”
You felt hollow as the men’s laughter hit you like the truth you had been avoiding. In all of your hopes for Yongguk to confess, it had never occurred to you that perhaps he hadn’t loved you at all.
“There’s no pretending here, friend,” Yongguk laughed as well. “If Y/n expects for me to fall head over heels in love, it may take awhile.”
Swallowing, you felt yourself choke on your saliva. You hadn’t realized how dry your mouth had become. You also hadn’t noticed the lump of emotion struggling it’s way down your throat. As soon as the whimper escaped your lips, you regretted stepping foot into the apartment. You remained cemented in your spot, wide eyed and teary as Yongguk and Jongup’s necks strained around the corner, looking at your placement not far from the door.
“I was waiting,” you choked out, unsure of what to say. “I thought something was wrong and...”
Yongguk’s face fell as you spoke, realizing you had heard a piece of his love-scorned diatribe. Jongup’s expression slid to one of shock as he cut his eyes at his friend.
“Y/n, I-” Yongguk began, taking a hesitant step toward you.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered, attempting to hold back the tears that had been brewing for what seemed like the entirety of your courtship (or lack thereof.) “I shouldn’t have.”
Turning on your heel, you fled from the boys, not bothering to stop even when you heard Jongup’s gloomy response.
“Well, Guk, you certainly proved a point...I’m just not sure if it was the one you wanted.”
.
Your feet kept moving until they hit the concrete of the sidewalk, finally stopping long enough for you to catch your breath. It wasn’t as if he had said that he didn’t love you, or that he never would, but the indifference hurt. Sure, you were mortified to admit you had essentially broke into his apartment. And yes, it looked as if you were spying on their conversation. But mostly, your heart ached with how apathetic the man you had grown to love had spoken about his own feelings towards you.
You had full knowledge that relationships weren’t always equal. Both people involved weren’t always on the same page or had the same caliber of emotion as the other, but this came as a shock. Yongguk had shown no sign of disinterest or lack of willingness to pursue things. Tonight, he had joked about love as if it were a mythical story parents told their children about before bedtime.
It hurts when you realize you aren’t as important to someone as you thought you were.
“Y/n,” Yongguk’s husky voice called from behind you. You didn’t want to turn around, but you knew that you would anyway.
You also knew you looked incredibly sulky as you turned to face him. Tears still slid down your cheeks and you felt your eyes growing puffy. You weren’t even terribly sad, but the excess emotion seemed to spill out through your tear ducts.
“I’m sorry,” he said quietly, stepping cautiously forward. “I didn’t think you would ever hear me say anything like that.”
“Either come closer or stay away because this in between is exhausting,” you choked, hardly able to look in his direction.
Heaving a sigh, he crossed the distance between the two of you.
“I don’t just mean here,” you croaked. “But with our relationship as well.”
Glancing at him, you shook your head. “Not relationship. I don’t even know what this is anymore.”
“It’s a relationship,” Yongguk whispered, his deep voice hardly registering words at such a low tone. He felt silly correcting you after he had just used the word “friendship” himself with Himchan.
“Didn’t sound like it up there,” you muttered. “And for the record, I would like to say that I thought you slipped and hit your head on something, so I was terribly worried that you were in your apartment dying, but instead, you were just making fun of how much you didn’t love me.”
“Well, that sounds like a dramatic take on the situation,” he sighed. “But If we’re putting things on record, I wasn’t making fun of how much I don’t love you. In all actuality, I love you very much.”
You blinked for a moment, uncertain if your brain had fabricated that last sentence. “And I quote, if Y/n expects for me to fall head over heels in love, it may take awhile.”
“That didn’t sound very convincing, did it?” Yongguk winced.
“You don’t believe in love,” you whimpered. “You said it yourself.”
"Of course I believe in love," Yongguk sighed. "Even if I'm too much of a coward to admit that to my closest friends."
“So you were saying it was all an act?” you said quietly.
“I can admit freely to you,” he began, breaking eye contact. “That i have fabricated so many walls around myself, that I don’t even know how to be honest with my friends about my emotions sometimes. I don’t want to seem weak. I don’t want them to think that I’m distracted or less of who I was just because I have found myself caught up in feelings.”
“Who said it makes you weak?” you murmured.
“My own anxieties,” Yongguk nodded. “People in love are wrapped up in those they care about. They’re opening themselves up for heartbreak and hurt. It seems like love is a fool’s game and I didn’t want the people around me, who I think so highly of, to see me as a fool.”
“Then what about me?” you prodded. “Had no problem making me look like a fool in the process?”
“You have never been a fool,” Yongguk chuckled sadly. “If anything, you’ve been the brave one. You’ve been so open with how you’ve felt about me...you’ve made me realize just how silly I look even caring about the jokes my friends may have thrown my way.”
“Which they wouldn’t have, by the way,” you pouted.
“They wouldn’t,“ he nodded. “Really, I’m the only one standing in my way of being open about how I care about you.”
“And how is that exactly?”
"You make me feel things that I can't explain away,” Yongguk whispered. “Real love isn’t this spontaneous, electrifying, cartoon feeling. Real love is deliberate, it’s a choice. It’s for better or worse. It’s making you more of who you are and helping you accept what you could be. I’ve never felt more of myself than i do when I am with you, and if that’s not some inkling of love, maybe i’m a fool that doesn’t know what love is.”
You opened your mouth to speak, but could only close it again.
“Let us grow together, let us have our roots intertwined,” he said lowly, leaning down to press his forehead against yours. “Let me make up for the past five minutes with our future moments. Let me show you that I can learn.”
You chewed on your lip, unsure if you were about to cry or swoon. “Okay.”
“Okay?” he chuckled. “That’s all?”
“Anything I could possibly say after that would pale in comparison,” you murmured.
You could feel his gummy smile grow even though you couldn’t see it. His eyes were shut as his face stayed close to yours, and his hands snaked around your waist. You remained quiet, enjoying the moments of shared breaths, and just being.
“How lovely the silence of growing things,” Yongguk whispered, pulling you even closer to him. You smiled as well, taking in his scent and the pure feeling of being with him, finally on the same page. “Thank you for not walking away from the silly boy who wanted to pretend that he didn’t know what love is.”
“You knew all along,” you hummed, nuzzling your nose into his neck. “You just needed a little prompting.”

Bang Yongguk: Bad At Love Chapter 5
Summary: Your whole marriage with Yongguk was a lie and you were ready to live with it. Until your feelings start to get in the way.
When Yongguk wakes up the next day, he has a splitting headache and he cannot remember much of last night. He just knows that you are gone. He remembers the divorce papers and your empty room. He also remembers the empty feeling in his heart but he brushes that off as quickly as he had felt it.
He slowly blinks his eyes, adjusting to the bright light. He sits up slowly, feeling a little dizzy from the headache. He had defiantly drank way more than he was used to. He realises that he is on the sofa with a blanket over him and instantly his mind goes to you.
He calls your name and looks around despite his headache. He wanted to see you, needed to see you. But there is no response. He then sees a glass of water and a note on the coffee table. He suddenly feels thirsty and he drinks the water in one go before reading the note.
his heart drops as he reads your words.
You were long gone.
You wonder around alone, the beach was always a good place to be alone and think. You are thankful for thinking of the small hotel by it. You managed to get a room and spend your first official night alone. It was a restless night especially since you had gone back home to check on Yongguk.
You had found him pass out on the sofa and your heart had hurt a lot. You ended up cleaning around a little and leaving him a note and glass of water ready for the morning. But seeing him made you realise you had done the right thing. You needed to leave or you would not be able to think clearly, but standing here on the beach bought back a lot of old memories.
“Is the beach really that interesting?” Yongguk asks.
“It is calming to be here” you reply simply as you continue to stare at the ocean for a bit before going back to reading your book.
Yongguk sits next to you and for a second it is peaceful until he grabs your book and then makes a run for it.
“Hey!” you yell at him before running after him. You manage to catch up to him and grab him by his shoulders before jumping on his back.
You aren’t really thinking as you do so but Yongguk stumbles a little at your action but manages to maintain his balance and hold you up on his shoulders.
“Don’t drop that!” you say to him seriously and he simply gives you a cheeky smile.
“Shouldn’t you be more worried about yourself?” he asks as he pretends to drop you a little and you gasp in surprise.
“Okay! Than don’t drop me or my book!”
And he simply laughs.
You sigh at the small happy memory.
You missed him. You try to focus at the new book in your hand. you try to focus on the words but your mind cannot help but wonder some more as another memory comes into mind.
“Why did you wait?” you ask in a scolding tone and he simply shrugs.
“You idiot” you say as you open up the umbrella for the two of you.
It was raining heavily and yet he was waiting for you in the rain outside of your work. The two of you walk home in silence in the rain.
“Why?”
“Did you say something?” he asks and you shake your head.
“Let’s go home, it is a bit chilly tonight” is all you say and the two of you carry on walking in silence.
Your phone ringing brings you back to reality. Yongguk’s name is on your screen once more. You sigh. He was not giving up so you simply turn your phone off.

Yongguk : Crushing hard
hi-mich : Can I make a request on you and Joon (mblaq), or GD, or YongGuk (any one) about both being on a variety show, and him being a slightly flirtatious (touching hands, moving hair from the face, asking if you’re cold/hungry etc) and him trying to be inconspicuous about it, but the hosts notice and tease him for it? THANKS!! :D
———————————————————————————————————-
Today was going to be an eventful day, in the early morning you drove to the studio of ‘Running man’. Ever since you were a kid you wanted be on it, but you aren’t an idol. Which made you endlessly wish for one day there to be a possibility that someone who is not an idol can get to join a ‘Running man’ show too! And your wishes were heard, because there was going to be a special episode. You were one of the lucky chosen fans to come and join!
As you arrived, you were warmly welcomed by the present cast and crew.
Feeling nervous and excited you bowed very deeply as you introduced yourself “Hello! Thank you so much for giving a normal person like me the opportunity to be on your show! I’ll work very hard to be a good team mate, please take care of me!”
Everyone applauded after your introduction and cooed at how cute you were.
“_____-sshi, no need to be so nervous! We are normal people too~ Welcome!” said Yoo Jae Suk.
“Ah~ She’s so adorable! _____-sshi, you’re very early. Come take a seat!”said Kim Jong Kook.
Feeling slightly at ease by the warmness of everyone you relaxed your shoulders.
“Today we’ll have various idols present, amongst them will be G-Dragon and Yongguk! Are you a fan of them?” Jae Suk asked you. “Oh, actually, I don’t really listen to k-pop. Just underground rap. So I know of Yongguk-sshi!” you answered excitedly.
Just then Yongguk rushed in the studio.
“Omo!!! Speaking of the sexy devil! Look who we have here, _____-sshi!” Jong Kook beckoned you to come to him and a flustered Yongguk who thought he was late. “I’m so sorry, I overslept!” he said. But once he looked around he realized he was on time.
“Yongguk-sshi, no worries. You are on time! Which is great, now _____-sshi and you can get to know each other in peace since nobody has arrived yet.” Jae Suk answered, patting both of you on the shoulder. “Hyung, let’s go, we need to do a briefing!” Jong Kook called Jae Suk.
As they left, you and Yongguk were standing awkwardly in the deserted studio.
He extended his hand to you and smiled brightly. “Hi, I’m B.A.P’s leader Yongguk. I hope we’ll get to be team members today, let’s take care of each other!” you shyly shook his hand while brushing a strand of hair behind your ear with the other. “Hi…my name’s _____. It’s very nice to meet you, Yongguk-sshi!”
Your hair fell back into your face which made you frown. Yongguk couldn’t help but laugh loudly, which made you look up at him with a pout. He smiled. “Can I?” before you even got to ask what he meant, Yongguk moved your hair from your face and stood behind you to use that long strand of hair as a tie to make a ponytail. “There! Is this better?” Flustered, your face turned bright pink as you nodded “Y-yes. Thank you, Yongguk-sshi..I completely forgot to bring a hair tie with me.”
The MC’s seemed to have returned because they reappeared with the other guests and the camera crew came out of nowhere. Everyone started to cheer loudly.
“O-omo, where did everyone come from??” Yongguk looked confused, as did you.
“HAHA!! Ha. HA! Yongguk-sshi, we haven’t even started yet but you made moves on your potential team mate?! I think we shouldn’t put them together then!!” Ha Ha cheered. “Well, we already made the teams. This does change plans. But. We the show must go on!” Jong Kook said. “Yes, congrats you two. You are on the red team together! Ah, red…the colour of love!” Jae Suk said dramatically.
Both of you turned red by everyone’s remarks. This is going to be a tough day…You thought to yourself.
As the day progressed, you and Yongguk would get paired up quite often. And whenever you didn’t, the MC’s tried to get a reaction out of the both of you. G-Dragon, who was also on your team looked troubled “Ah, the MC’s make it sound like none of us have a chance with you anymore. What do you think _____-sshi?” baffled you looked at him “Wha..wait? GD-sshi, do you mean that you’re interested in me?”
Just when G-Dragon was about to answer, water splashed onto you from above, it was the blue team! “_____-sshi, are you okay?” “Yes, it’s just water. It’ll dry!” you were dead wrong, the clouds started to grey and wind was blowing. Before you even knew it, Yongguk came running to you. “_____-sshi! Are you okay? You’ll catch a cold in this state. Here, take my hoodie. I have a sweater underneath, so no need to worry for me.” You couldn’t even say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ and he already took his hoodie off, handing it to you.
“Now if that isn’t true love! GD-sshi, seems like you have NO chance at all! How does that make you feel?” Ha Ha asked. GD looked a little annoyed but laughed “Hyung, as you can see. There is only one prince charming right now, which is Yongguk-sshi.” To which Yongguk laughed sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.
You left to the restroom to take off your wet shirt and put Yongguk’s hoodie on. It was warm and smelled like him.
Once you returned, Yongguk smiled brightly upon seeing you “_____-sshi! Isn’t this better?” You smiled at him “Yes, thank you so much. I’ll return the hoodie when the day is over! Sorry for the trouble.” “Oh no, you can keep it. It looks way better on you than it does on me!” You blinked. “Are you sure? It looks like an expensive hoodie..” “Yes, I’m sure!” Yongguk smiled while softly caressing your fingers. You felt your heart skip a beat, feeling unsure you decided to just grab his hand anyways. Off you were to the next challenge!
As usual, the day would end with everyone cooking a delicious meal together. And of course..you and Yongguk were paired up! The camera would focus a lot on the two of you. “Ah, young love! Look at these two, cooking together like cute newlyweds. Will you two keep it up after 1 year like this?” Jae Suk asked. “Yes, I’d love to cook together every moment possible with _____-sshi!” Yongguk answered. You laughed. The two of you found a way to comfortably play along with the remarks of the MC’s, which often surprised them. “Ooooh~!!! Yongguk-sshi, does this mean you’ll be a good husband for our _____-sshi then?” “Yes, of course.” Yongguk smiled while squeezing your hand as he stirred the soup with his other.
Once the day ended, everyone helped cleaning up and got changed. Slowly, everyone left the site until a few people were over. Amongst them were Yongguk and you.
Yongguk stood separate from everyone else, sitting on the grass, looking at the night sky. You came to sit beside him “Thank you for today.” Yongguk turned to face you, confused “What for?” “For being a good team member and taking care of me, making sure I was okay and comfortable.” you smiled softly. He chuckled “It wasn’t just because we were team member today.” You blinked “Oh?” Yongguk smirked “I guess I wasn’t being obvious enough, then? You stole my attention the moment I our eyes met.”
Falling silent, comprehending Yongguk’s words you looked up at the night sky.
“So. Should we go out on a date then? Some place where none can bother us?” Yongguk blinked, surprised by your boldness. But then he smiled brightly “I think that’s a great idea!”
From afar, Jong Kook and Jae Suk watched the two of you “What do you think, hyung?” Jong Kook asked “They better invite us to their wedding once that day comes!” Jae Suk said.
———————————————————————————————————–
A/n : I know I was asked to have Yongguk be inconspicuous about it, but I was in such a flow of writing that I totally forgot that part ;; I hope you lovelies like this! I’m super tired, so I feel like I could have done better….but. Yeah.
