Enid: Here Yoko, I made you a friendship bracelet.
Yoko: Oh... I'm not really a friendship bracelet kind of person.
Enid: It's alright I can take it-
Yoko, protectively clutching the bracelet: No. Its mine.

Yoko Headcanons Pt 3. (this has been in my draft for a while)
Yoko isn’t a big romcom fan but Enid and Divina are so her and Wednesday end up watching them begrudgingly for their girls. That does NOT stop them from complaining though.
Wednesday: Yoko I can feel my brain cells deteriorating.
Yoko: Girl same im getting dumber watching this and I’m already the dumbest person here.
Unlike Enid, Divina helps Yoko study on her own and teaches Yoko little tricks to help her remember things in class. Enid usually just lets her copy.
Though Yoko acts very confident, she does have a lot of insecurities surrounding her intelligence because she’s never been really good at operating in a school setting. Things that don’t immediately capture her attention will often not keep her attention very long.
Yoko can sit and read Wednesday’s books for an hour straight squealing but she cannot take a math test for thirty minutes.
Yoko finds out Wednesday likes Enid (not that she didn’t already guess) because Viper so obviously has a crush on a new character that’s supposed to be Enid.
Enid and Yoko met in their freshmen year, Yoko tried flirting with Enid but Enid wasn’t really interested. Which is how they became best friends.
Young Yoko was a bit more of a menace and much more spoiled due to her wealthy upbringing. She absolutely thought she could have anyone she wanted and Enid was like “I’m not really attracted to you.”
Yoko: Not possible but OKAY.
Enid: Well do you want to be friends?
Yoko: This is literally the most embarrassing day of my life. Yes.
Enid and Yoko are literally inseparable. Yoko is an only child and Enid has only brothers. They’re literally so thankful for each other.
Because of her upbringing, Yoko has a lot of trouble showing and expressing negative emotions. Enid is like a sister to her and is always patient with Yoko when she needs time.
Yoko calls Divina princess, at first it was an insult because she’s stuck up and such, but it grew on both of them. Yoko is very affectionate with Divina when they’re alone, Divina loves it.
Divina: Get up. We have class.
Yoko: Come back to bed, princess. It’s cold.
Divina: Because you’re dead. Get up.
Yoko: You don’t love me.
Divina, rolling her eyes and climbing back into bed with her: You’re right. I hate you.
Yoko: Mhm. :)
Nobody in their right mind besides Enid would believe Yoko is so affectionate and loving because outwardly she is so against relationships and she kicks girls out as soon as they’re done. “I’d call you a cab but you live next door.”
Yoko is in fact only soft for Divina.
I raise you Yoko and Wednesday having a talk about being afraid of emotions.
I raise you Enid and Divina wondering if their girls actually like them because they have those kinds of insecurities and little do they know their girls would die for them without question.
I raise you Wednesday at first being jealous of Yoko until she realizes there couldn’t be anything to be jealous of because all Enid and Yoko do is argue.
Yoko, kicking the door down: Wednesday get your fucking girlfriend shes DOING IT AGAIN
Enid: Babe DONT LISTEN TO HER SHES LYING
Wednesday, sighing: Do you want this chapter done or not, Yoko?
Yoko: with ALL MY HEART MI AMOR
Enid: STOP FLIRTING WITH MY GIRLFRIEND FOR CHAPTERS
Yoko: STOP TELLING MY GIRLFRIEND WHEN I SKIP CLASS
Basically Wednesday was jealous up until she realized they’re basically siblings and they are trying to kill each other at least 90% of the time.
Divina had to win over Enid and Wednesday first. It was like asking for their daughter’s hand in marriage.
Wednesday: What are your intentions with our idiot?
Enid: I will skin you alive if you ever hurt her.
Wednesday: I’m so in love with you.
Thing, Yoko, and Enid have girls nights.
Yoko never liked Tyler either. “He just looks like a card board cut out.”
Yoko actually wants to become a movie director but not many people know that. Specifically horror movies.
Yoko was the kind of kid who would film her own movies on her phone.
Since Yoko has trouble expressing herself, her forms of love come in physical ways. Bumping Enid in the halls, playing with Divina’s fingers in class when she’s distracted, ect.
Wednesday and Yoko actually become amazing friends. They have a lot to bond over. Their love of horror, they both hate Tyler, they both have girlfriends who love them more than anything, they’re both bad at expressing emotions.

One of my favourite things to come out of wenclair fanfiction is the idea that Wednesday and Divina become good friends.
Like Bianca, rivalry friendship. They won’t admit they like each other and they’re constantly digging into each other but deep down, they’re friends.
Yoko, reluctant friendship. Wednesday finds her slightly annoying and is mainly friends with her because of Enid but whilst she won’t admit it, Wednesday would call her a friend. The thing she likes about Yoko the most tho is she knows Yoko cares for Enid.
Eugene, like a brother to her. She’ll kill anyone who harms him.
Xavier, he’s a friend who’s there. She tolerates him but it ain’t a bad thing. She’s not majorly close to him tho like she is others.
Ajax, I don’t mind fics where Wednesday thinks he’s a nuisance. I think they’re funny. I like to think she has a similar relationship with him like hers with Xavier. She just tolerates him.
Kent. Who’s Kent? Wednesday probably thinks.
But Divina, I love to imagine that outside of Enid, Divina is Wednesday’s closest friend. She’s not sarcastic and silly like Yoko, she’s not a rival like Bianca, she’s not a nuisance like Xavier and Ajax. I love to imagine that Wednesday is surprised at how much she considers Divina to be a close friend. I like to imagine that she’s the one Wednesday first admits to that she like Enid because she knows Divina won’t use it against her. Bianca, she can’t fully trust with the info, Yoko might accidentally let it slip, Xavier she’d never tell because she’s aware he likes her and Ajax she won’t tell because of his prior relationship with Enid. The second person she tells is Eugene, mainly because she knows he fancies Enid and she does it out of consideration for his feelings.

One of my biggest Wednesday unpopular opinions is that Rowan was a missed opportunity as Wednesday main love interest if she was gonna be with a man.
Like their similar in they both investigate, are psychics, and he got kicked from the nightshades for doing what they were made to do.
Also he and her would've investigated together and unlike Xavier he wouldn't have gotten in the way.
Instead of him dying they could've had Xavier like Xavier followed Rowan and her into the forest and died and that's how her and Rowan start to team up.
Like Rowan was more of a reject than Xavier was trying to be like it could've been perfect.
Rowan was just wasted opportunity at a good platonic or romantic relationship. I'd prefer platonic cause I'm still a die hard wenclair shipper.
Edit:
To add more to it Rowan could've also been used to flesh out the other characters more, like we see flashbacks of the nightshades kicking him out for doing what they were made to do. They could've shown more of the characters in the nightshades and their personalities.
He could've been another friend of Wednesday that caused her to grow like Enid and Eugene did. Like Enid and Wednesday are so different yet also similar. They both won't change themselves for other people and are passionate. Their also stubborn and all that.
Rowan could've been someone who was similar yet so different like they both are rejects, their parents mattered a lot to the school like Rowan mom with the vision, they both are more loners with Rowans friend could've been Ajax like Wednesday and Enid. Yet their also different like Rowan Is a nervous, much more self conscious person rather than Wednesday confidence.
Like Rowan could've been someone who always wanted to fit in and not be an outcast among outcasts. He also could've shown even more emphasis that Wednesday on Wednesday having to take other people's feeling into account. Because him and her could've also been just as different as Enid just not in the polar opposite way. Because Wednesday and Enid have some similar personality traits that make them work which is them never changing for someone else or to fit norms. Rowan and Wednesday could been different in the way that Enid and Wednesday weren't which is that rowan wanted to fit in and not be and outcast and he was more stubborn.
Like I'm not even doing this from a shipping perspective more from a friendship perspective like they had so much potential to be an awesome friendship.
Also their trope could been one of my favorite platonic ones that is introvert because they don't like other people/introvert because their afraid or anxious around other people.

Chapter Summary;
Wednesday made her amends to Enid. But Enid wasn't the only person Wednesday hurt.
Second chapter of Don't Touch Me posted! This one is far more T rated but still just as angsty as the first one so I hope you enjoy. This chapter fully focuses on the complicated and very intense feelings between Yoko and Wednesday.
Author ramblings under the cut.
Love is special. And as someone who has lived through and experienced a huge variety of its permutations, I think one of my favorites is the kind of platonic love that's so intense it's basically another flavor of romance. Very much love in the queerplatonic sense.
That's what I wanted to draw on for Wednesday and Yoko here. They're two people who individually have a lot of issues, one moreso than the other maybe, but I also think they're somewhat uniquely suited to care for each other.
There's a quote a lot of tumblr loves that I kept in mind when writing this.
“Pylades: I’ll take care of you. Orestes: It’s rotten work. Pylades: Not to me. Not if it’s you.”
I think Wednesday and Yoko are great for this. Wednesday and Enid can take on that sort of energy, but I always feel like those two are more suited to pushing each other above and beyond and aren't quite -as- suited to helping each other through the slog.
Yoko and Wednesday though would be. And at first with this story, it's Yoko who first extends that hand, who first says "If the world does not want you, I will. I will walk with you."
but then later, once you get to the point in the timeline post-chapter one, the roles flip. Suddenly Yoko is the one holding onto anger and bitterness and isn't well, and it's Wednesday who weathers the storm and waits for her. It's Wednesday who says "Even if you won't let me I will do the hard work of loving you. I will let you bite me and drain your anger so you do not drown, because I love you."
maybe not so much in actual words but in their actions
anyway I love friendships like this, a relationship doesn't have to be romantic to be powerful, compelling, and beautiful, and so so so full of love. I hope you enjoy.

I think Wednesday and Yoko should become friends.
Yoko is an interesting specimen, on good terms with her sire - rare these days - and snarky enough to keep up with Wendesday, but doesn’t seek to challenge her directly, like Bianca. She also favours black, which instantly makes her more agreeable to be around. Crucially, Enid cares for Yoko, and as someone who also cares for Enid, Wednesday decides that it is her duty to at least be as amicable as she is able with Enid’s bes- othe- previous best-friend-who-is-still-a-very-close-friend.
Enid hates this.
Wednesday doesn’t notice at first.
She’s taken to dedicating her entire attention to Yoko when they speak, determined to unearth and discern every aspect of her and trusting that she can at the very least rely on the vampire to warn if not protect her if danger appears. Trust. It’s a new thing. A very new fragile thing.
It - shamefully - take a week of interrupted conversations before Wednesday turns her eyes back to Enid and a mass of strange behaviours unravel at her feet.
Anger; growls and claws and scowls. Beautiful and unfamiliar and wrong. Enid has developed a short-temper recently, it seems. There’s a bitterness to her, she’s even short with Wednesday, something which throws her entire day out of wack. Pathetic; out of sorts because a girl snapped at her. Her ancestors are rolling in their graves, the next family reunion will be abysmal.
Wednesday is a clever woman however, the cause is pitifully easy to determine. It’s her. As usual, Wednesday is the problem. Wednesday began talking to Enid’s best friend, and now she’s upset. Perfect. Even when she’s trying to do something right, she’s doing something wrong. Not for the first time, Wednesday curses herself for caring at all, and briefly considers actually cursing herself. No, no, the chance of backfiring is too high. She’s an Addams after all, what if she begins to care more. The risk is too great.
So, as someone who has an invested interest in Enid’s state of mind - they live together after all - she disengages with the fledgling friendship. Actually, perhaps she should recede from the social group entirely, the relationship is entirely casual and interaction is hardly regular anyway, but it clearly makes Enid uncomfortable. Yes, that’s the best cause of action.

This is how I imagine it went after Wednesday and Enids first kiss.
Enid, in Yoko's dorm, pacing: Omg. Omg. I just kissed her. I kissed Wednesday Addams.
Yoko: Finally
Bianca: Honestly, I'm surprised it took this long
Enid, still pacing: What if she doesn't like me back? What if I messed up our friendship and she never talks to me again? Is she even into girls?
Meanwhile
Wednesday, sat with Xavier: Enid and I kissed.
Xavier: Took you long enough.
Wednesday: I want to marry her.
Xavier: ...I think you missed a few steps.

°°°
"So, is your name based on weekdays too or?" The long haired boy started as he stands beside you, observing your position as you shoot your arrow and misses again.
You sigh and he steps closer with your back to his chest as he guides your hand with the arrow. "Here, like this."
You feel your heart speeds up but says nothing as you watch him take the lead and hits the arrow straight to the aim.
He slowly steps aside and smiles at you. You give a small smile and gives him your name.
He fakes gasp, "Oh she speaks?" When you roll your eyes and drop your smile he immediately makes it clear he was just joking.
"I know, I'm not easily offended, there's been worse things said to me." You state, picking up another arrow to practice.
"So, do I have to assume you are as terrifying as your sister?" He asks with a teasing grin.
"Oh no, I'm afraid she has already claimed the title of homicidal psychopath in our family, truly the pride and joy of the Addams name. As for me, You'll learn soon enough." You explain, this time your arrow hits straight to the aim, You lower your bow in pride.
"So you mean to say we might end up close enough for me to learn about you myself?"
he had too many questions.
You shook your head and thank him for his lessons before walking away to your dorm room.
°°°
Despite being roommates with Yoko, she has not made a single effort to befriend you, as glad as you are for the peace, you could tell it's because of the growing closeness between you and Xavier, the girls were ignoring you in solidarity to Bianca.
You were thankful for that.
It wasn't that you asked Xavier to befriend you, but he was persistent in knowing you, and he seems to respect your boundaries enough to not push you or cross the line, so you accepted his friendship, it was nice to share the quietness with someone else sometimes.
He has even let you sit in the corner of his shed to watch him paint and sketch.
That was probably your favourite activity these days, the comfortable silence and watching him fully concentrate on his artworks.
Today was one of the days you'd get to watch him work, he had sat beside someone else during their classes together that afternoon, but you assumed their routine still remained.
Walking towards the shed, you notice chains around the handles of the door. It was definitely locked as you try to pull it off.
This was confusing, if he wasn't coming today then why wouldn't he tell you?
Bumping into Bianca as you're walking back to your dorm, you gave it a chance and asked her if she knew where Xavier was.
Her scoff and smile was mocking. "Aw, did he finally decide drop your deadweight of an ass?"
You raise your eyebrows at her challenged.
"That's weird, last time I checked, it was you that got dumped." Indulging in her baffled expression, You walk past her to continue looking for your friend.
He wasn't in the library or any of the classes. The last place there was to check was his room, a place you don't think you're allowed to.
°°°
The next day was busy as everyone prepared for the rave'n dance. You weren't much of a partier, but you had hoped to ask a certain someone, so you made an effort to search for a decent enough dress.
You snatched the first dress that caught your attention, not liking the whole experience you had force yourself to go through. It was emerald coloured dress, giving in to the assigned flora and fauna theme this year.
Stepping into the local coffee shop, you were met with Tyler as he prepared you your usual.
"You look burnt out, went hiking or something?" He questions.
You chuckled. "Dress shopping." He raises his eyebrows and grin.
"Oh you're going to Rave'n then? Didn't seem like the type that would, got a date?"
Your smile slowly drops as you shook your head.
He nods understanding. "Well, I mean, if you're looking for one, I'm always free this Saturday." He winks and you bite your cheeks.
His attention snaps to the door as the bell rings.
and a customer enter. You turn around and widen your eyes in suprise to see Xavier.
His too as he takes your appearance in.
He walks closer, turning to look at Tyler, then back at you.
Tyler uncomfortably backs away from leaning at the counter to you and clears his throat.
"Uh, want a coffee?" He asks Xavier slowly.
He nods carefully, before taking a seat next to you, watching Tyler move to the espresso machine.
"Didn't know you two are friends." He starts.
You let out an annoyed laugh and glares at him.
"Really?" He blinks, not understanding what you mean.
"You don't answer my texts, didn't tell me you weren't going to be at the shed, and now you're talking to me like you haven't been ignoring me?" You snapped.
"Wha- I've been busy, I forgot-"
"You've been busy, you forgot, which one is it?" You Interrogate.
"Both! Look, I'm sorry alright, I should've let you know, I forgot." He explains as Tyler brings you both your coffee.
Xavier's eyes wanders to the paperbag in your hand. "Is that a dress? You're going to the rave'n?" He asks suspiciously.
"Why shouldn't I?" You ask defensively.
"I didn't say you shouldn't, I just- I mean, do you have a date?"
You instinctively nodded. "I'm... going with Tyler! Right, Tyler?" You immediately turn to him, silently begging him to agree.
Tyler, playing along, nods and confirms.
Xavier's expression changed, and the guilt in his eyes turns blank as he processes what you said.
"Oh." Disappointment laced his voice for some reason. He snatch his coffee and stand to leave. "I'll uh, see you later then." He says briefly before leaving.
you feel the pit of your stomach churn as you thank Tyler.
°°°
The Rave'n dance was unspeakably boring. You'd rather be in your room and read with Chopin playing in the background.
Instead you're stuck here awkwardly eating your cake with Tyler by your side.
You spot Xavier by Bianca's side as they walk in together, his eyes meet yours and the betrayal you feel was deep. He had gone back to her.
You excuse yourself to the bathroom, feeling Xavier's gaze burning through your back as you walk away.
You pull back tears and touched up your lipstick after repeating the breathing exercise Kinbott has taught you.
Feeling less upset and more out together aftet successfully preventing a breakdown, you walk out towards your date.
Only to find him on the dancefloor with your sister, Wednesday.
Of course, he had only asked you to get close to her. No one ever wanted you for you.
You were glad you didn't really like him and disappointedlu went to grab a drink. You scan the room and notice Bianca dancing with Yoko, It was then that you notice Xavier wasn't anywhere to be seen. You frown and walked out while no one notice. The idea of knocking on his door was halted as you remember you weren't allowed there, If you were caught, it wasn't the punishment you were scared of but rather the embarrassment.
There was only one option left.
°°°
Climbing through windows and walls, you pull out a small screwdriver, unlocking the window next to his bedside, before pushing it open and jumping in.
As your feet lands on his bed, you hear him yelp and swear loudly. There he was in all his glory, in front of the bathroom door.
"[name]?!, What the fuck? Did you seriously just climbed through my window-"
"You weren't at the shed today, and you stopped sitting next to me in class. In fact if I'm remembering it right, you didn't even want me in the shed with you last week too." He turns quiet, eyes not meeting yours.
"You're avoiding me, why?" You ask, making him scoff and turn away from you as he walks towards Rowan's old bed.
You walk to him, pulling him by his hands to look at you.
"Did I do something? Have I offend you?" You go straight to the point.
He frowns. "Offend me? God are you clueless or something."
Saying that you were confused would be an understatement.
"Let's say that I am, spell it out for me then."
He shook his head and pushed your hand away. "I'm not- I'm not offended, okay? Just leave, okay? Go back to your date, and not by the windo-"
"I'm not leaving until you tell me what's wrong." You insist and he sighs.
you two stood like that for a few seconds, refusing to grant eachother's request.
You broke the silence first, unable to take it anymore.
"Xavier, you are my first friend ever, besides my old pet tarantula spider that was accidental killed in our washing machine." He makes a face of disgust.
"I- What I mean is, If I had done anything to hurt you, it was probably accidental, I am not the best when it comes to making friends, let alone, keeping then." You notice his body relaxing as his gaze softens.
"I would understand if you no longer want to associate with me, but I would be very grateful if you could tell me why." You pleaded, heart breaking.
You didn't think you could ever feel this upset.
People had always assumed you were as heartless as your sister, given your awkward and introverted personality.
But the truth was you used your antisocial personality as a wall againts human interaction because you were sensitive. Your heart was the opposite of Wednesday's.
Xavier sighs and closes his eyes briefly before looking at you firmly.
"You didn't offend me, well- not really, it's just-"
"Its- I avoided you, because I thought you didn't feel the same way I did." His confession did not clear anything up for you.
You scrunch your face confused.
"Feel? Feel what?"
His lips became a thin line as he rolls his eyes.
"[name], I like you"
"I like you too, I just told you that-
"No, I-" He sighs loudly again.
"I like you, more than a friend, should. And I thought I've been dropping multiple hints since we met but it seems you've gotten none of them, I thought you just weren't interested in me like that, or else you would've seen them, wouldn't you?"
Your eyes widen as understanding fills you.
The brief silence scared him as he tells you to forget about it and leave.
"Wha- No, no Xavier, I do like you." You immediately tells him before you could stop yourself.
He freezes and his yes scan you for any lies or deceit.
"Right, and you're definitely not saying this because I'm your only friend and you feel bad."
You shook your head but he still looks unconvinced.
"You went out with Tyler. Fucking Tyler. How does anything you do backs up what you're saying?" Tyler's name sounds like a curse coming from his tongue, And you have to admit, it makes you like him more.
"It does make sense what you're saying, but if Im only saying this because I'm lonely, would I do this?" You challenge him.
"Do what?" He asks, eyebrows furrowed.
You answer him by pulling him down by his vest and meeting your lips with his.
Automatically he reciprocates it and his arms move to wrap around your waist.
You smile againts his mouth and you feel him copy it.
Breaking the kiss to catch a breath, he grins at you, all his sulking seemingly gone.
"So just to be clear, you're not doing this because you feel bad or anything right? I don't know, maybe you should convince me again, just to be sure."
Your face breaks into a smile as you grant his wish.

Despite Wednesday’s reputation, there were very few people she classified as true enemies.
Sure, she despised the general population of Nevermore, but since she and Bianca had cultivated something akin to a friendship, there wasn’t anyone specific that haunted her thoughts during the day.
However, Xavier Thorpe was quickly shaping up to be the new target of her antagonism.
She and Xavier had a somewhat complicated relationship. Their issues from her first semester had been largely smoothed over since she took an arrow for him and he gifted her that dreaded iPhone in return. They weren’t exactly friends, but there was no animosity between them.
His feelings for her seemed to pass as well, something Wednesday was eternally grateful for. Unfortunately, it seemed that the new recipient of these romantic feelings was you. And that was completely unacceptable.
She despised the way he insisted on sitting near the both of you during classes to try and impress you with his abilities or tell you terrible jokes in the middle of lectures.
And there were few things that angered her more than seeing him put his arm around you during conversation or ghosting his hand on your back while walking in the hallways.
She wasn’t jealous. No, jealousy had nothing to do with it. In fact, she found the situation laughable, hilarious even. That Xavier, the blank canvas of a man that he was, thought he could take what was hers.
And sure, your relationship wasn’t exactly public. Neither of you was screaming from the rooftops about your feelings because you both preferred to keep your relations private, but it wasn’t as if you were actively hiding it either. Your immediate group of shared friends knew.
Enid, Wednesday had told personally. Only because she wanted the werewolf to know to give the two of you privacy whenever Wednesday brought you to her dorm.
Bianca pieced it together herself, a fact that irritated Wednesday almost as much as the smirk Bianca gave her whenever the two of you walked into fencing class together. Yoko and Divina figured your relationship out because they got, what Enid rather vaguely referred to as, a vibe. Ajax remained blissfully unaware but he was never a threat.
Even other students appeared to cautiously avoid flirting with you in any capacity once they noticed your closeness with Wednesday.
(This carefulness may have also been cultivated by the way Wednesday glared at anyone that got too close for her liking, but that was entirely beside the point.)
The entirety of Nevermore understood that you were spoken for, and she enjoyed that greatly.
But Xavier didn’t appear to comprehend that.
So she would have to take it upon herself to educate him.
-
The quad was quieter than usual.
It wasn’t completely silent. The chatter of a few dozen students melded together, casting a thin blanket of noise over the small space. But it was nowhere near as rambunctious as it normally was on a Friday afternoon. Which meant that it was easy for Wednesday to find you amongst the commotion.
You were sitting at one of the tables on the far side of the quad, pen in hand while you seemingly worked on homework. Your blazer was tied around your waist, fully exposing the vest underneath.
The sky had been covered by clouds all day, but the clouds were beginning to dissipate in places, allowing rays of light to shine through. One of these places happened to be right above your table, clouds parting to envelope you in a halo of light that could fool anyone into thinking you were an angel sent down from the heavens above.
You looked divine. And the only thing stopping Wednesday from stopping and fully appreciating the sight before her was the person seated beside you.
Xavier.
He looked to be helping you with your work. But Wednesday knew better. He was sitting close enough that your thighs were nearly touching, his lanky frame nearly swallowing you whole when he leaned over to look at your textbook. Every time you looked away to write something down, his eyes would trail down the side of your face in a way that absolutely enraged Wednesday.
What drove her over the edge was his decision to grab your hand.
She was marching over to your table within seconds, her gaze absolutely murderous. A few students in her path instantly fled when they saw her expression, but she paid them no mind, focusing solely on how Xavier’s face fell when you pulled your hand out of his grasp. The sight was just enough to stop her from attempting murder, but not enough to deter her entirely.
You were the first to notice her. The way your eyes lit up at the sight of her gave her an unpleasant fuzzy feeling that she loved despised.
“Hi, Wen,” you greeted, giving her one of the warm smiles reserved for her. Wednesday’s glare softened considerably as her eyes moved from Xavier to you.
“Hello, mon cher.”
“I wasn’t expecting to see you until later. Is everything ok?”
The concern in your voice was touching, a reminder of how sweet you were even in less-than-desirable circumstances. But she had other matters to attend to right now.
“Yes. What are you doing?” The question was directed towards you, but her eyes were on Xavier, her fiery gaze boring into him. He squirmed. You didn’t notice.
“Just English homework,” you sighed. Wednesday’s eyes flitted back to you, momentarily drifting to your lips before righting themselves.
“Bring it to my dorm. I can assist you with it myself.”
Xavier started to protest but another glare was enough to quiet him. You looked confused by the sudden change in plans but acquiesced.
“Oh, ok. Let me get my stuff.”
You stood and reached for your textbook only to be stopped by Wednesday.
“Allow me.”
Wednesday began gathering your things for you and in the process, she discreetly leaned over to Xavier and delivered her message, her voice a soft but petrifying whisper.
“Lay your hand on her again and I will remove it. Finger by finger.”
Xavier’s eyes widened with terror, his only response a harsh gulp. Wednesday nearly smiled.
Without another glance in his direction, she stood with your textbook and dragged you off to her dorm. You tried to ask what was going on several times, but she remained silent until she reached her destination.
Once inside her empty dorm, she dropped your things off on her desk and sauntered back to where you were, stopping just in front of you. Your faces were mere inches apart and her eyes wandered back downward against her will.
You began to ask her something, but she cut you off by leaning forward and connecting your lips. A noise of surprise escaped you before you reciprocated, hands instinctively cupping her cheeks. Wednesday tangled one hand into your vest and gripped your tie with the other, lightly tugging you closer. You stayed pressed against one another until you stepped back, slightly dazed.
“What about-“
“Your homework can wait,” Wednesday mumbled, silencing you with her lips once more. She kissed you once, feverish and rough, then again and again and again, until there wasn’t a coherent thought left in your head. Her movements were frenzied—desperate even, and you were helpless to do anything but follow her lead with the same fervor.
When you finally parted for air, she whispered something into the small space between you. Something you didn’t understand, but still wholeheartedly felt.
“Eres mia, mi amor.”
