This is how I imagine it went after Wednesday and Enids first kiss.
Enid, in Yoko's dorm, pacing: Omg. Omg. I just kissed her. I kissed Wednesday Addams.
Yoko: Finally
Bianca: Honestly, I'm surprised it took this long
Enid, still pacing: What if she doesn't like me back? What if I messed up our friendship and she never talks to me again? Is she even into girls?
Meanwhile
Wednesday, sat with Xavier: Enid and I kissed.
Xavier: Took you long enough.
Wednesday: I want to marry her.
Xavier: ...I think you missed a few steps.

The One-Shot where a Spell splits Enid's personality traits into separate clones of herself. An Extract.
“You are an enigma Enid, every time I feel like I know you completely, you surprise me.”
Enid shifted slightly in the spot in from of Wednesday “Is that bad?” she whispered. Wednesday looked up sharply at the worried edge to her tone, Enid was biting her lip apprehensively.
“Of course not” Their eyes met. “And even if that were true it wouldn't change a thing, get your mother's vile rhetoric out of your head, her opinion of you is beneath you” Wednesday said with as much comfort as one with a voice of monotone could muster. Enid whimpered, her lip trembled as she stared unabashed at the raven as she crushed a purple root in-between her fingers.
“You... you always know what to say Wends” Enid said lowly, staring down at her feet to hide her crimson blush.
“I linger and fester in darkness but you thrive and grow in the light, and I won't let another's darkness stifle your light.” Wednesday said promised. “Not even that horrid woman you call a mother.”
Enid smiled, a glint in her eye “Admit it, you just like having me around.”
“I will admit that it is... acceptable...” Enid beamed a dopey smile. “...even though your fashion choices are a war crime” Wednesday teased.
Enid gasped “You take that back!”
Wednesday smirked. “No, no I don't think I will.”
“It is not a war crime!” Enid protested.

You couldn’t feel like celebrating, the team gathered in yours and Yoko’s room, well except for Wednesday.
Numbly sitting on your bed, you watched as Enid, Yoko and a few other girls from Ophelia came to celebrate, dancing around with the cup.
“Aren’t you happy Y/n?” Enid turned to you. You finally came out of your head looking up at her. “You okay, you don’t look so good.”
Looking up at them, you sighed, “Xavier kissed me today.”
There was a moment of silence before all the girls cheered around, squealing. Yoko pulled you from the bed, hugging you tightly.
“See, I told you it was bound to happen.” They smiled, “He likes you back.”
“See, I told you it was bound to happen.” They smiled, “He likes you back.”
“Wait,” Divina interrupted, though not around the winning team, she came in support for Yoko, “when did it happen? You never went away from the group.”
“During the Poe Cup.”
“You all stay here, and watch over the boat!” You yelled to Yoko, Enid and Wednesday before running off into the forest.
Ajax and Xavier had a head start of you but you were determined to make it ahead and finally win the cup this year.
Looking back, you saw Bianca slowly coming in the background, whipping your head back around, bumping into someone.
“Woah watch where you’re going.” You felt them wrap their hands around your bicep to stabilize you before helping you stand up straight.
“Xavier.” You sighed. As much as you wished for something to happen, you couldn’t let anything get in your way of getting that flag.
“In such a rush?” There was a playful glimmer in his eyes, “I think we have it this year.”
“In your dreams.” You clipped back.
“Oh, I do dream of you.” Your eyes soften slightly at the statement, before you remember where you are.
“Let me go!” You tried to wrestle out of his grip. Xavier was adamant of having you in his arms, and didn’t seem like he wasn’t going to let go anytime soon.
“Leaving me so soon.” He smirked, “One more thing.”
You couldn’t even think after what happened. One second you could see the flag in your field of vision and the next, you felt being pushed against a tree, with Xavier’s lips on yours.
His hands slowly trailed down your arms, wrapping them around your waist, your hands subconsciously placed on his chest. You couldn’t even register what was happening, dreaming of this moment.
Kissing him back, your hands were wrapped around his neck, pulling him down closer to you.
Feelings his hands dance around your torso, you heard the sound of footsteps coming closer and closer.
“I got it!” Your eyes widened at the sound of Ajax’s voice, pulling away from Xavier, seeing Ajax behind him with the flag in his hand.
Putting two and two together, you looked at Ajax then looking back at Xavier who had that cocky smirk on his face.
“Good luck.” He whispered in your ear before running off.
You felt embarrassed, angry, all whirlwinds of emotions. Swallowing it down, you ran to grab the flag before sprinting back to the boat.
“What took you so long!” Enid practically screamed, pulling you back into your spot. Having the clear vision of you guys holding the Poe Cup, you couldn’t think of what had just happened, rowing even faster.
The four of you started to row back, passing the AmontiLlado boat, seeing them starting to sink. You felt proud at the moment seeing Xavier’s face of defeat but turning back.
You ran behind Enid and Wednesday ran towards the finish, you all cheering for your victory.
“He kissed while I went to get the flag, and he-uh kissed me to distract me while Ajax was able to get their flag.” You confessed.
“Oh honey.” Yoko cooed, wrapping their arms around you, leaning your head onto their shoulder.
You didn’t want to cry, it was supposed to be a happy moment but nonetheless, you felt your eyes starting to water. Letting the tears cascade, you sobbed out loud.
“I really liked him.” You cried, the rest of the girls all sat around you, consoling you. “And he used me!”
“He’s not worth it.” Enid said softly.
On the other side of campus, Ajax sat at the edge of Xavier’s bed, watching him pace back and forth in his room.
“Dude, you're giving me a headache.” Ajax said, “Can you say something.”
“God, I’m so stupid.” Xavier muttered for the hundredth time at night, pulling at the roots of his hair.
“Anything but that.” Ajax sighed, he didn’t know how long he heard him muttering under his breath, “Just talk to her.”
“I can’t.” Xavier looked up at his friend, “You didn’t see her face, she looked heartbroken, it was like I betrayed her.” It wasn’t one of his best moments, but Xavier couldn’t hold it in anymore and kissing you while grabbing the flag wasn’t the time.
He planned it all, after you or him won, he wanted to tell you how he felt, kiss you then.
“Explain to her then.” Ajax offered, “You can’t avoid her forever.”
But you did.
The following Monday, you walked through Nevermore with Yoko, ignoring Xavier like the plague, which was a pain because of the numerous classes you had with him.
Walking into Mrs. Thornhill’s class, you started to make your way towards the back to sit with Yoko, but frowning when you saw Enid there. She sent you a sheepish smile before looking over your shoulder. Furrowing your eyebrows, you looked over your shoulder to see the station where Xavier was sitting, with an empty seat next to him.
Turning around you looked back at Enid and Yoko, sighing and rolling your eyes behind your sunglasses.
Setting your stuff down the table, you took the seat next to him.
“Hey.” He whispered, turning towards you, “You’re wearing your sunglasses, you never do.”
It made you feel a little happy that he noticed things about you, but shaking it off.
The sun never bothered your eyes that much, never really needing to wear sunglasses, but after spending most of the weekend crying, your eyes were red and puffy.
“Alright class.” Mrs. Thornhill called, you thanked whoever saved you at that moment.
Xavier was dying to talk to you, get your attention, anything. Looking out of the corner of your eye, you saw him scribbling on the back side of his paper, his eyebrows furrowed.
Looking up at Thornhill, you saw something being slid by your books, you looked down, seeing the self portrait of yourself. It was from the Poe cup, the cat makeup on your face, and the ears that Enid made you wear.
Your eyes soften slightly, seeing how beautiful the picture was. Collecting yourself, you pushed it back to Xavier, gathering your stuff before walking out of class.
“Y/n, wait up!” Xavier called for you in the crowded hallway. You turned back, seeing how everyone had been looking at the two of you. You wanted to talk, but you didn’t need half the population of Nevermore listening in.
“C’mon.” It was the first thing you had said to him in three days. Walking ahead of him, Xavier was on your heels, letting you take him anywhere. Arriving in front of the Poe statue, you look around the corridor before snapping twice.
As the statue started to move back, you both walked down the stairs in the Nightshades library.
Both of you stood in the middle of the room, both of you waiting for the other to talk.
“I just want-” Xavier started.
“Did you mean it?” You interrupted him. Your voice held no emotion, your body was stiff waiting for his answer.
“What?” He asked.
“Did you actually want to kiss me or was it to distract me?” You explained further.
“No, of course not.” Xavier shook your head.
You couldn’t help but start to ramble, “Because if it was, that was truly cruel, everyone knows how I feel about you and if you used my feelings to try to win, I don’t think I can be around you anymore and-”
Before you could finish, Xavier grabbed the side of your face, his hands on your cheek while his thumbs cradled your jaw, kissing you. You breath sucked in, your eyes wide, not even registering what was happening.
Your hands pushed against his chest, pulling him away from you.
“You can’t do that.” Your voice faltered. “You can’t play with my feelings like that!”
Xavier’s hands were still on your face, moving away from your cheeks, pulling your sunglasses off your face.
He saw the tears in your eyes, using the pad of his thumb, to wipe away the tears that started to cascade down your cheek.
“I love you.” He said softly, his thumb caressing your cheek. “And I’m an idiot.”
“You are.” You laughed quietly.
“Ajax told me I finally needed to tell you, and I had this whole plan, kissing you after the race, when we won.”
“When I win.” You corrected him.
“Right.” He smiled, before continuing. “And what happened during the forest, I just couldn’t hold it in anymore, I was an idiot for leaving you like that, I should have explained myself afterwards.”
“You really love me.” Your hands were wrapped around his wrists.
“Of course I do.” He smiled. “And I’ll spend the rest of my life telling you.”
“Yoko’s gonna freak when I tell them.” You chuckled.
“Really.” He started to smile, “I just told you I love you and all you’re thinking about is Yoko’s reaction.”
“Of course.” You smiled. “So are you gonna kiss me again?”
“For the rest of my life.”

You Stole My Heart (And Made It Your Own)
Pairings: Wednesday Addams x gn!reader
Summary: requested (find request here)
Warnings: swearing, reader’s a slag, there’s not really any plot, cringy ass title, spelling mistakes.
Word Count: 1.4k
Tumblr media
Ever since Wednesday had moved to Nevermore, you’d been hopelessly in love with her. And, being the cocky, arrogant person you are, you tried flirty with her. You failed to see the looks she gave you from across a classroom. Looks of want and need were shot at each other when the latter wasn’t looking. Words of want were thrown when Wednesday was busy. You liked her ignoring you, it made the game much more fun.
Wednesday didn’t really understand why you, you, would talk to her the way you did. She had read all about you on Enid’s blog - the blonde made a point to read out every piece of dirt she had on you when she heard of your advances. Apparently, you had seduced half the population of your grade in your four years of being here. But they were just rumours, and they’d stay like that until you proved them correct. Or wrong.
You ignored the laughter around you as you watched Wednesday talk to that hand of hers. It was the same everyday: longing, flirting, eat, longing, repeat. Though the longing began to become unbearable. This was the first time any of your advances had been declined by someone that wasn’t in a secret relationship (that had happened far too often). To say it was hitting you hard is an understatement. Wednesday had taken your ego and attacked it with a hatchet.
You left your table and walked over to Wednesday. She didn’t seem to notice, but the hand did as it pointed to you. She looked to you after and rose an eyebrow in question. Before you could speak up, she began. “That’s Thing. He’s a he, not an it. He’s not an object.” You nodded in understanding and sat down. “What do you want?”
You furrowed your eyebrows, not remembering any you came here. “I just wanted to talk.” You then settled on. A half-lie half-truth.
Wednesday rolled her eyes before looking to you. “You know, Enid is jealous of me.” She said. Now, don’t get this mixed up, Wednesday Addams was not one for gossip, but she found it quite amusing that Enid was jealous of her. “She thinks it’s unfair that you went for me and not her.”
“I don’t want Enid, I want you because I’m obsessed with you.” You mumbled, looking at her lips. Wednesday was the first person that you actually wanted to like you back.
“I don’t blame you.” She shrugged. Apparently, Xavier, Tyler Galpin, Enid Sinclair and (according to Bianca) Rowan Laslow had a thing for her too.
“No need to get cocky, Addams.” You held up
Your hands. Wednesday’s lips quivered in an almost-smirk. She’d never admit it, but she loved your games.
Thing knocked on the wooden table, gaining Wednesday’s attention. The two of you looked down as Thing began to rapidly sign. Wednesday’s face contorted into one of disgust then surprise before she shook her head. You decided it wasn’t a great time to tell her that you knew sign Language. Enid then came over and glared at you. You took that as a sign that you had overstayed your welcome. Waving to Wednesday and winking at Enid made the blonde’s face soften and turn red.
Before you left, you turned back to Enid, who still hadn’t recovered from the wink and said, “For the record, I don’t not flirt with you because I don’t find you attractive. I don’t flirt with you because my friend is hopelessly in love with you, okay? Because you are extremely attractive.” You then left, not seeing how Enid opened and closed her mouth like a fish.
Enid then turned to Wednesday, with a look of betrayal written all over he gave as the latter just watched you walk away to the Nightshades.
-
You were all fencing, or rather watching people fence at least. Ajax, Rowan, Xavier and you were watching Wednesday duel Bianca, once more. Though, this time it was three out of five points and you win, not to the blood. There was something about watching Wednesday take of her sabre mask and glare at Bianca, though she had won, that made you feel feral inside.
You flinched and stood up quickly when you felt something crawling on your thigh. Looking down, you sighed at Thing. “Dude, you can’t sneak up on a person like that!” You exclaimed, sitting back down. Thing pulled on the top half of your suit and pointed at the door. You looked up, realising that Wednesday had made herself scarce. “Wednesday wants to see me?”
Thing gave you a thumb up and the boys around you ooed like immature teenagers. Oh, wait. You rolled your eyes at them, leaving the room with Thing on your shoulder. You walked down the hallway until you were pulled into a classroom.
You stumbled into Wednesday before gaining your footing back. “You know, Addams, when you get pulled into an empty classroom by an attractive girl, it usually mean that you’re about to have mind-blowingly good sex.”
Wednesday let go of you like you were on fire and you chuckled, fixing your sleeves. “Why were you staring at me during the fencing match?” She asked.
“Because I love you.” You said with a nonchalant shrug.
Wednesday scrunched her eyes in confusion. “Don’t do that to yourself, y/n.” She told you. “I’m not a good person to love. You could have anyone. Why me?”
You shrugged and smiled. “Just because.” You mumbled.
Wednesday looked at you before leaving. She ignored the Nightshades that were gathered around the door as she walked to her dormitory. You went out after, cursing out your friends as you flicked Ajax on the back of the head, making him jump in pain. Thing then crawled out next, following after Wednesday.
“What the fuck was that?” Ajax exclaimed in fear, jumping out of his skin.
“That was Thing.” You said, walking away from them.
You saw Wednesday again during lunch the next day and, for the first time ever, you made eye contact from across the hall. Her stare wasn’t welcoming and was unnerving, but you liked in. I’m a weird way. You smirked at her for having stolen her attention away from her best friend when you got a notification.
Breaking the staring match with Wednesday, a foolish move, you opened your phone to Enid’s gossip blog. It was the same as always until a photo of you kissing someone came up. You couldn’t tell who it was, but your hair was different so you assumed it was old. Now to deduce the bigger question: why was Enid trying to stir drama?
-
There was no particular reason for you to be in the library after curfew other than the fact that it was completely silent, apart from the ticks of the grandfather clock in the corner and your soft breathing. The sound of paper rustling every time you flipped the page scratched your brain perfectly.
Wednesday had finally given up with your game. She couldn’t stay calm when she thought about you. She hated that, how you made her feel things she didn’t want to feel. It was like you came into her life, threw out everything she had known to about love and made yourself at home in her mind. You plagued her mind even when she was asleep.
She had followed you to the library that night and after just silently watching you for a while, she made her way over to you. “y/n.” She said, her voice void of emotion, as always.
You jumped, your heart stopping for a second as you held your hand over your heart. “Jesus H. Christ, Wednesday.” You sighed, massaging your eyebrows to relax yourself. “Do you need something?”
“You.” Wednesday said. Before you could process her words, she continued. “I want you.”
You relaxed your body and looked at her with a neutral gaze. “Everyone does. You told her and she scoffed in frustration.
“y/n, I’m trying to say that I think I love you too.” Wednesday spat out, the words evidently tasting like rainbows and cupcakes on her tongue.
“It’d be a tragedy not to be.” You shrugged Wednesday looked like she was about to leave when you suddenly stood up and walked in front of her, blocking the pathway out of the library.
Wednesday rolled her eyes and tried to get past, but you blocked her once more. “Enid said that when you tell someone that you’re in love with them, they say it back.” Wednesday said. “You didn’t say it back, y/n.”
“Wednesday, I was joking.” You told her softly.
“Ha. Ha ha ha.” Wednesday said humourlessly. The slight embarrassment you had made her feel still fresh in her mind.

Weems as Enid's adoptive mother is such a wonderful concept. Not just because Weems would be the best mother in the world and Enid would get all the love and care she deserves, but because Weems' past with the Addams would reflect on Enid's relationship with Wednesday in the most dramatic way possible. Can you imagine what it would be like for Weems to watch her daughter fall in love with Wednesday? To see Enid fall in love with the daughter of her two best friends in high school? The daughter of the two people she was once hopelessly in love with? And how would she react when she finds out that Wednesday feels the same way about her daughter? Unlike her parents, who never reciprocated Weems feelings — or so she believes. And what about family dinners? With Weems in the same room as Morticia and Gomez? The drama. The chaos. The angst.

I wanna see some fluff with wenclair
Like, one totally normal day, the two girls are hanging out in their dorm together. Enid’s got a little setup so she can play Minecraft on her PlayStation (superior console duh) on a good sized tv. Meanwhile, Wednesday’s trying to write but she’s hopelessly distracted by her girlfriend in the background. Not that Enid’s doing anything actually distracting, it’s her simply existing and being herself that has captured the seer’s attention.
For a moment, Wednesday turns in her chair to watch Enid playing, the werewolf too enveloped in playing to notice her, or so Wednesday believes. After a few minutes of longing staring, Enid chirps, “Hey Willa! You wanna join?” without turning back to the raven.
Wednesday blushes lightly at being caught, but quickly replies, “I have absolutely zero interest in playing this childish game, Enid,” despite having played it multiple times before, sometimes even without Enid.
Enid hums at her girlfriend’s defensive response and says, “Oh, okay! Do you wanna watch me play, then? You can sit on my lap!” Enid sings in an enticing tone. She knows very well her girlfriend’s weak spot for sitting in her lap and being held by her.
Wednesday barely tries to hide her excitement at the opportunity to sit in Enid’s lap. Although she definitely could do it whenever she wants, Enid has said so multiple times, Wednesday is still not great with affection. She still struggles a bit with asking for what she wants and needs. But whenever Enid offers up affection, Wednesday doesn’t let any opportunity go to waste. So Wednesday goes to sit on Enid’s lap, snuggling up close to her taller girlfriend.
Enid wraps her arms tightly around Wednesday, tight enough that to anyone else, they’d feel like they were suffocating. But Wednesday adores the pressure and revels in the feeling of Enid surrounding her. It’s perfect, it’s everything she ever wants.
Wednesday pays close attention to what Enid’s doing in the game for a while, but eventually grows bored. So instead, she shifts herself a bit so she can curl up against Enid’s front, making her seem even smaller than she already is. Grabbing Enid’s loose, bright pink shirt, Wednesday slowly closes her eyes and just lets herself relax. Enid continues holding her tight and Wednesday knows that nothing can harm her here.
She knows that there’s no Hyde, no ancient, racist pilgrim, nor any backstabbing traitorous teacher that can touch her here. And none of the cruel hearted words that everyone spits in her direction outside the dorm matter here. People who will never understand her, who will never even try, they mean nothing and their harmful words can’t bother Wednesday now.
Wednesday is safe in Enid’s arms and that’s the one thing she’s been missing for all her life. She’s not felt truly safe in years. But now, she is. Wednesday is finally, finally safe and it’s all because of Enid. Enid, who swore on that terrible night that no one would hurt Wednesday ever again. Enid, who’s known Wednesday inside and out for almost the entire time they’ve known each other. Enid, Wednesday’s protector.
Wednesday easily falls asleep all cuddled up against her girlfriend, nothing to fear and no reason to keep alert for any threats. She sleeps soundly, just as she always does whenever sleeping next to Enid. She knows that Enid will keep her safe, she doesn’t need to keep herself safe anymore. Wednesday is well protected now.
Before she drifts off to slumber, Wednesday hears only one thing, the voice of her favorite person in the world. She hears Enid whisper with love and adoration dripping in her tone,
“Que duermas bien, mi pequeña luna. Te amo bebé.”

Wednesday returns back to the dorm late one evening to find Enid being more suspect that usual.
Enid: Hi Wends!
Wednesday: (Spotting the bundle in her lap and closing her eyes stressfully) Enid... Please tell me that that is a new monstrous plushie and not another cat.
Enid: (Scoffing with mirth) of course not Wends!
Wednesday: (Opening her eyes) Good because last time...
Enid: (Cradling the bundle like a baby) His name is Panda!
Wednesday: (Blinking as the bundle yawns) Enid, that is a Fox.🦊
Enid: (Nuzzling the fox with her cheek) And I love him!
Wednesday:
Enid: I'll look after him!
Wednesday:
Enid: (Puppy dog eyes) Please?
Wednesday: (Sighing, Quietly) You're lucky I'm hopelessly in love with you.
Enid: What?
Wednesday: I said he is your responsibility.
Enid: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! YOU'RE THE BEST!
Wednesday: (Grumbling) Stupid loveable puppy, stupid loveable Enid.
THE NEXT DAY
Yoko: Enid is that a Fox?!
Enid: (Happily, with the Fox's head poking out of her pink backpack) Yep!
(Tempted to give them a pet fox in a story 😂)

Jenna Ortega mentioned that Wednesday and Xavier should just be best friends and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it so here are my head canons:
- Enid finishes class an hour later than them on Tuesdays and usually comes back to the dorms to find them napping on Wednesdays bed in the matching skeleton onesies she bought them (they always tell her they hate them but she knows the truth) but one time she came back and they were sitting on the floor in the middle of the dorm room in dead silence just drawing dead bodies, to this day they still haven’t told her if those dead people were visions or just them being weird. To be honest she doesn’t really want an answer anyway because both options sound terrible.
- Wednesday sucks at understanding her emotions so when she’s not sure how she feels about someone she just takes notes about how she feels and acts around those people and then sits Xavier down for as long as it takes to go through her notes and understand how she feels (it’s how they realised their relationship was more of a sibling thing then a romantic thing, it’s also how they find out Wednesday was hopelessly in love with Enid)
- Xavier once asked Wednesday to be his fake girlfriend in front of his dad and she answered that she would rather rewatch « Legally blonde » then have people think she is straight. (she still did it)
- The first time Xavier is invited at the Addams house, he cries when Morticia hands him a sandwich cut in the form of a human skull because « Fuck, my mommy issues are strong. »
- He once told Wednesday that he wouldn’t be able to hang out for a week because he had an English test while she was on call with Gomez and the older man made sure to call back after the test to ask how it went.
- Wednesday drags him in a bookstore at least once every week and he always stands right behind her while she looks at the shelfs so that no one can accidentally touch her while going through the isle they’re in. Sometimes when she is tired she leans back against him (the same way someone would lean against a wall) while she looks at the books.
- Pugly gave Xavier a sticker that says « family’s favorite white boy » and he put it in his sketchbook next to the sticker Enid gave him that says « favorite himbo <3 »
- They once swapped parfum and body wash to mess with Enid’s wolf and regretted the next day when the whole school started calling them « Nevermore’s emo twins » (« If you don’t take this off your blog I will be taking you off the surface of this planet. » « Aww i love you too, babe. »)
- He uses Wednesdays shoulder as an armrest and gets punched in the ribs for it most of the times.
- Enid and Ajax have to basically feed them because they always forget.

Wenclair- Enid's playlist for Wednesday- "Hit Play on Her"
@sayum2510 Looking through my drafts I found one I conjured up from your ask months ago, not sure where I was going with it so it's kind of just little wenclair moments based on your wenclair songs you mentioned.
In case you're still interested I've decided to tweak and post the lil one shot so ... Hope you enjoy 😋
Enid had tried.
Tried so desperately to hide the feelings she had for Wednesday.
She really had.
But she knew it wasn't long before the Seer caught onto the way Enid would trip over her tongue whenever Wednesday dressed up. Or the way she reaches for her and only her in any dier situation. Or the way she rambles juuuust a little bit more often when talking to the Ravenette than with others.
It had happened again just now. Wednesday had left for a family event, one that Enid had declined the invitation for after learning there was a lot of death, spirits and séances involved. As much as it pained Enid not to blindly follow Wednesday into another tragedy filled night she had to say no because she knew all of the Addams' would be there. And she was sure as hell she couldn't hide her feelings from such an intelligent family. As much as Wednesday was dense when it came to social cues, relationships and love...her family were far more well versed in such feelings.
With Wednesday, she could play it off as her being quirky because, of course Wednesday wasn't great at picking up hints. But observation in general Wednesday was an expert in. So all it would take is a little interest and she would eventually come to the conclusion that Enid is hopelessly in love with her. Whereas with Wednesday's Mother and Father and Brother and honestly anyone with Addams blood, they could sniff out her attraction to Wednesday better than she could sniff out a squirrel that was 5 metres away.
Only moments ago Enid was hit with the harsh reality of how desperately attracted to Wednesday she was when she heard the harmonious voice.
"I'm leaving Enid" she states bluntly and Enid looks up from her laptop, her jaw dropping as she stared at her best friend in pure shock. Mouth agape, practically drooling as her eyes trailed up Wednesday body which fit nicely into a lacy black cropped dress, fishnets and a pair of overly large combat boots. As she trailed her eyes to Wednesday eyes she took a moment to admire her usual gothic make up and hypnotic stare. Enid's kryptonite.
"What are you looking at? Did the dry cleaners miss a blood spot" she inspected her outfit, spinning in stiff circles, as if teasing Enid with more to gawked at.
"No no" Enid jumped up from her bed blinking her eyes out of thier hypnotic state and stumbling over her feet to stand parallel to Wednesday. "Just wow Wednesday you look- just- your beau- the ummm I like-" she rose her hand to her mouth and cleared her throat "the dress it's cute" she let out a quick breath, and a growl lightly erupted from her throat at her own awkwardness.
"Cute? That was not really my intention, I was going more for sacrificial altar offering " Wednesday deadpanned. But Enid just giggled and ran her eyes up and down Wednesdays body checking her out in plain view once again.
"Are you sure you do not wish to accompany me?" Wednesday noticed Enid's prying eyes and tilted her head quizzically. Clearly misjudging Enid's staring as wishing for a 2nd invitation rather than the shameless pining that it was.
"N-no It's fine I'll come to the next one" Enid babbled out, smiling nervously and recieving a slight nod from Wednesday as she turned to leave.
"Your loss" Wednesday had smirked over her shoulder at Enid before leaving the room and of course the blonde almost melted at the sight. "Urghhh" she let out a frustrated grunt of annoyance, trying to force the feelings away and failing miserably. So Enid did what she did best and resorted to laying face down on her bed, headphones on and blasting enough music to numb her brain.
And when of course this didn't work Enid scrolled through her Spotify and hovered her thumb over her favourite playlist. The one she had made the day after meeting Wednesday, the one she continuously added songs to that reminded her of the dark goddess of a girl that she so desperately yearned for, the one she added songs to everyday since.
She let out another low growl before hitting play on her Wednesday playlist simply titled "Her".
🎶But I can't help myself when you get close to me🎶 Enid's mind drifted. God Wednesday made her feel so painfully in love
🎶Baby my tongue goes numb goes like bleh bleh blee🎶 that's exactly how she sounded everytime She looked at the pale goddess and tried to form a sentence. She sighed and let the music take control of her, swaying to the melody and feeling every word that was sung
🎶Looking at you got me feeling nauseous🎶
... She smiled
🎶OOO it feels so good I HAD TO CHANGE THE OCTIVE🎶
Enid belted out the tune, images of Wednesday plaguing her thoughts as she did. Nonsense by Sabrina Carpenter was extremely fitting for the way she had just felt about Wednesday looking at her and she let the songs play. It was merely a way to comfort herself knowing that she was not the only person who had these kind of feelings.
And you know, yelling out her feelings was very therapeutic, it's not like she can just tell Wednesday she's in love with her, Imagine!
...
After a while Enid tried to keep herself busy in order to stop her mind from wandering to impure thoughts of her best friend in that dress (or rather out of it). She had found herself cleaning their dorm room, finishing her homework, writing on her blog, going for a walk, and even hanging out with her friends until midnight, anticipating seeing Wednesday upon her return.
But she wasn't there.
Enid sighed and fell back on her bed, pursing her lips and tapping her fingers, anxiously waiting. Eventually nothing could stop her, the ache of wanting Wednesday too strong to ignore and of course she then picked up her headphones and hit shuffle on "Her".
Mommy issues by cloudy June immediately starts playing and Enid is almost annoyed by how accurate her playlist was getting.
The blonde stands this time, jittery with anticipation as the lyrics purred in her ears 🎶You're good at masquerading the second that you came in, face straight but legs are shaking🎶 Enid sighed knowing full well these words were more directed towards Enid herself when it came to Wednesday. Of course, she had to put on a smile every time Wednesday made her feel flustered, acting like her body wasn't screaming at her while she had to remain straight-faced, or at least her usual friendly smile rather than obviously swooning over the girl.
That didn't stop Enid from getting into the song, blurring her thoughts and letting the music sink into her mind like a ship on treacherous waters.
Enid danced around the room aimlessly singing "When I call the shots you call me-" as she spins around she stops dead and
"Mommy" she squeaks out the last word, inadvertently and she turns to see Wednesday entering their shared dorm, slightly dishevelled but still in that tantalising outfit.
"What did you just call me?" Wednesday quirks an eyebrow up and stares at Enid, gripping her clutch purse Infront of her and awaiting a response
"Ahhh umm no the umm" Enid throws her headphones off and dashes her phone on the bed awkwardly along with the headphones. Like a guilty child getting caught stealing candy from the kitchen cupboards
She blushes profusely and stutters out "It was the s-song" in a poor explanation
Wednesday's brain practically buzzes with questions and ways on how to respond before landing on "Interesting choice of song Enid" and walking over to her side of the room as if nothing had happened. She hears an audible sigh from Enid and side eyes her. This wasn't the first time she had been suspicious of Enid but she had just endured a formidable amount of affection from her family, her battery was drained, so she decided against pressuring Enid into teaching her.
Enid however felt like she wanted the floor to open up and swallow her whole! God what must Wednesday be thinking right now.
...
Later on in the week the moment had been fading from each of their memories and the days returned to normal
Enid smirked at Wednesday.
"Come on Wednesday what did we talk about?" Enid scolds Wednesday but the juxtaposition of the smile it was paired with told the girl that she wasn't really in that much trouble.
The Addams girl huff's in annoyance, her facial expression barely changes as walks away from the situation and tracks swiftly back to her room.
Enid blindly follows after her, all the while skipping happily and relishing in that little power she had over Wednesday. One she knew didn't last long when it came to other Activities the two would part-take in.
"This preposterous idea that I would have even a miniscule interest in this activity must really mean you have finally succumb to the illusion that I will change Enid" Wednesday scolds back.
"And yet here you are" Enid's smirk has a giddy twinge to it as she wiggles her eyebrows suggestively saying "Aren't you?"
She skips away, throwing her headphones on and pressing play on her favourite playlist titled "Her", scrolling through Spotify and finding yet another song to add to it.
At this point her Wednesday's playlist was becoming an unhealthy addiction but hey what can you do. Wednesday made her feel things that she just couldn't say out loud so surely singing them was the next best thing.
...
It was 4 am and Enid could hear it the consistent rumble of howls that plagued the night air. Everyone was out, all of the wolves screaming at the moon with pure heart and Enid was again alone in bed.
She hadn't turned since the hyde attack. Her therapist told her it was a mental block due to the traumatic events that transpired but she wasn't sure.
A large HOWL could be heard this time much closer. Which caused Enid to curiously lift her head off of her pillow and squint her eyes out of the room window.
It was Wednesday? Enid crept up to the window and admired her from afar. With each distant howl she watched the seer howl back and subtly smile to herself as she did. What the hell?
The werewolf climbed out the window quietly and spoke
"Wednesday what are you doing?" While remaining a fair distance away from her crush.
Wednesday barely flinched at the sudden presence of her best friend and spoke unfiltered
"Confusing the other wolves of course, It's one of my favourite games I've played it ever since I was a kid" Wednesday seemed rather dazed as she thought back to the memory and then snapped back to reality to see Enid's eyes in pure shock and awe
Wednesday cleared her throat "My apologies I am not sure why I shared that information with you".
"It's okay to share Wednesday I told you you could tell me anything" Enid walked slowly towards Wednesday "Pretty cool game" she observes standing by Wednesday's side, not daring to make eye contact just yet.
She slowly turned to look at Wednesday hoping this vulnerable openness wouldn't end so soon but as Wednesday looked at her, Enid saw something in her face change.
"Yes, well I did not mean to cause you any discomfort" Wednesday seems almost guilty as she averts her gaze away from the wolf's eyes.
"Why would that cause me-" Enid began but then it clicked "Oh ..." She looked away shamefully "Because I can't turn into a wolf" she sighed lightly
"Yes" Wednesday said, oblivious at first to Enid's sadness. She stayed silent her eyes scanning the glorious view from their balcony before her eyes landed on Enid and she finally noticed how upset she was.
Wednesday seemed to internally panic, unaware of the proper protocol in these situations. Usually she would not care but something about the way Enid's pleading eyes bore into her soul caused a spark to go off, jumpstarting her insides.
"Just because you cannot transform does not mean you cannot howl" Wednesday's lip twitched.
"Wednesday no it just makes me feel-" she began to protest but Wednesday simply raised her hand to halt her words
"Okay but you like games don't you Enid?" She asked earning a slight submissive nod from the werewolf girl "Then let's play my game" Wednesday smirked.
"Wednesday" Enid groaned out, tilting her head to sigh at the sky
"Enid" Wednesday simply retorted before continuing as if Enid had not rejected her proposition.
"It's very simple really, whenever you hear a howl you reciprocate and then revel in the satisfaction of knowing there is a wolf out there confused by the sound, chasing its tail looking for a strange sounding wolf" Wednesday eyes beamed with wicked delight as she explained the rules.
"That's pretty Evil Addams, you don't even get to see them all confused what's the point" Enid couldn't help but giggle a little bit, what an odd 'Game'.
"No but I know they are and that is enough, it is part of the enjoyment using my imagination" Wednesday shrugged slightly.
Just as she said this another distant howl could be heard in the distance and Wednesday looked at Enid expectantly.
After no response Wednesday gripped the edges of the concrete wall in front of her and let out a monstrous howl, causing Enid's eyes to light up in pure adoration.
"How did I do?" Wednesday flicked her eyebrows up. It wasn't like her to request validation from someone but the Seer thought it would be a great honour to hear the opinion of the most vicious creature she had ever laid eyes on. Enid, of course, in her wolf form, jaw dripping with the blood of Wednesday's enemy, teeth bared with a look of pure bloodlust in her eyes... Wednesday had never felt so strongly towards her roommate than in that moment. So, who better to assess her howling abilities than the best there was in her eyes.
"You would make a good little wolf" Enid spoke, mesmerised by the sight in front of her. As she caught herself saying it she became nervous at Wednesday's reaction.
Her wolf became giddy when the response she was given was "Well you are a good little wolf" and Enid beamed with pure delight. That's the nicest thing Wednesday had ever said to her and was she being delusional in believing that it seemed even a little ... flirty?
Even as Wednesday said this, she was outwardly shocked by even her own words, her lips that seemed to be betraying what her mind would have told her to say instead
Enid was speechless, her legs almost caving in from beneath her as her mouth went dry all of a sudden at the sound of Wednesday's voice
Luckily another Howl rang out and Wednesday looked at Enid changing the subject rather quickly
"Your turn" She told her, nonchalantly.
Enid, still buzzing from the look in Wednesday's eyes as she called her a good little wolf, smirked playfully "Fine" she shook her head disapprovingly before letting out an almighty HOWLLLLLLL, without question.
She looked back at Wednesday expectantly who was lightly entranced by the sight. She cleared her throat
"Not terrible." She said as if she was grading an English paper "poor technique though" Wednesday looked away from her feeling rather deviant.
"Excuse me? Who is the wolf here!" Enid moved closer to Wednesday letting her know that she was very offended
"To the perception of a stranger in sure it would be hard to tell" Wednesday didn't look at her. She had to deflect after her little wolf mishap a moment ago
"What was wrong with it?" Enid asked voice a little cracked. Again something sparked in Wednesday... Did she feel guilty for making her feel bad? Of course she did it's Enid! She was just trying to be playful and cheer Enid up but it was so unnatural to her.
Do something!
"Here" Wednesday suddenly gripped the wolf's hips twisting her body lightly and Enid in utter shock from Wednesday's touch, let it happen. What was going on?
She gulped, as her heart rate quickened and Wednesday hands moved swiftly to each of Enid's hands and roughly placed each one on the balcony's edge, breaking the touch barrier between them haphazardly.
"What are you-" Enid finally managed to hoarsely conjure up words but she was immediately stopped as Wednesday slid her hand up to the Blondie's chin tilting her head away and slightly to the sky, keeping her fingers lingering for a few seconds too long. Enid's breath hitched in her throat and Wednesday noticed this furrowing her brow for a moment then brushing it off.
Wednesday stepped back and admired her handiwork then spoke assertively
"Now" she reached forward only to stop Enid from moving out of the position she was just expertly put into "Try again" she all but demanded.
Enid took a harsh breath in and out, extremely grateful that the cold night air prevented the flush of her cheeks from being so obvious and then she howled once again.
This time an earth shattering howl erupted from Enid's throat, causing even Wednesday to smile slightly at her triumph and again feel that uneasy spark of feeling that rose from within the depths of her darkened soul.
Enid panted for breath afterwards, the cold air evident, from the breath that could be seen clearly like fog rolling into a graveyard at midnight. It honestly, once again, captivated Wednesday and for the first time in forever ... She was speechless ... She was feeling.
Enid noticed and smiled proudly.
After a while of comfortable silence and occasional howling at the sky while stealing glances at each other, both girls retreated to the comfort and warmth of their beds.
Wednesday lay still, staring at the ceiling, contemplating everything that had just occured and Enid smiled widely into her pillow as she attempted to sleep.
But she just couldn't. She felt like they had a moment. The same feeling she felt gripping onto Wednesday for dear life after the school was attacked. The relief from finding out Wednesday was alive and the pain of having to let her go once again. Eventually, Enid resorted to "Her" after more than an hour of tossing and turning endlessly.
🎶She don't wanna be anybody else she's a women in total control of herself🎶 Enid smiled again humming in happiness as the line 🎶I swear I saw her howling at the sky, she ain't out to get you but she's better on your side🎶 rang through her ears and she happily let the image of Wednesday howling continuously burn into her brain.
Her blissful descent into slumber was interupted by Wednesday's voice
"You are aware that your headphones are not plugged aren't you?" She stood right beside Enid's bed startling the girl.
"Shit!" Enid whispered fumbling for her phone to turn it off. She will never get used to how silent Wednesday's footsteps were, it's as if the girl just glides everywhere.
"Interesting choice of song Enid" Wednesday smirked before retreating back to her bed to continue her own descent into a peaceful sleep.
As she laid there she watched as Enid avoided eye contact and flopped her head back onto her pillow, looking somewhat embarrassed.
And for the third time that night Wednesday's heart sparked and Enid's Beat rapidly.

I think for season 2, Wednesday and Tyler should explore Tyler-Hyde being independent from her. No longer Laurel’s slave and neither Wednesday’s slay. Instead equal partnership in both love and mayhem.
