Hi Tumblr,
It’s been a while.
Idk exactly how to start with. But I felt like I could tell a bit what I’ve been through lol.
I’m actually trying to be a Mangaka in Japan, sideway on my Tumblr fluff account. It’s my dream since I’m a kid. And even if it’s something I deeply care about, it’s a really tough way. I lost an editor 3 years ago, and I guessed it affected me a lot. After I spend the last few years drawing for people, drawing for work. And I ended up being really sick.
Sick of trying so hard. Sick of failing. Sick of drawing.
I didn’t want to draw anymore. And I lost myself completely.
But that’s the thing, even if I’m deep down a hole, I still want to follow my dream. And I still want to draw for people, cause, as much as I want to be a Mangaka, I want to touch people deep in their heart. And I know I will in the future too.
Recently, I started school again, and I guessed it’s giving me more time for myself. I’m slowly building new story, new characters, and I’m getting my self confidence a bit back. I would like to share some of my story here one day too haha ~
Anyway ! DIAKKO DRAWING YES. I finally got a bit of time for myself, since a really long time, so I enjoyed drawing them again.
Enjoy !
(Also thanks for reading until there lol, and thanks for (still) following me)

Warmup #44 - Diakko
Rating: G
Summary: Akko's wrapping presents. Diana gets caught in her shenanigans.
~~~
"Hey, do we still have that box the microwave came in?" The question drifted through the living room and Diana looked up.
"Yes? Do you need it?"
"Yup." Akko hummed. It barely reached Diana.
She put away her book and left the couch, a blanket, and a cup of cocoa behind. Hopefully she would be back soon. Though her hopes weren't high, considering Akko's track record.
"It's in the storage room, along with all the other.. boxes." She trailed off as she surveyed the carnage Akko had left in her wake.
She was in their room, on the bed, packaging material and a myriad of different objects and cards spread out around her.
"Could you get it for me?" She smiled sheepishly. "I seem to have trapped myself."
Yeah. It seemed that way. Diana could not spot a path Akko could use. "How did you even-"
"It's best not to ask." Akko pointed out, and Diana saw the wisdom in that. She nodded and went to get the box. If they worked together to pack up all the Christmas gifts, they would get done in no time.
mfs will say that toh is a copy of lwa but tbh theres nothing wrong with taking inspiration from pre-existing media . they have a lot of similarities , yes , but they also have a lot of differences . they're both their own thing .
lumity is really similar to diakko , but they still have their differences . same with the " two friends " perspective . lotte and sucy are similar to willow and gus , but again , they're different characters with different traits and behaviors . i find it strange to compare the four when they're really nothing alike personality and interest wise .
there's also similar themes , but that isn't necessarily a bad thing . a lot of media is similar in that way . harry potter also has a non-magical person learning magic , but that doesn't mean it's anything like toh .
[LWA, Diakko, Fluff, Grief, Emotional, Happy, Marriage, Family, Old Age, Letting Go] AO3 Link | Gift for @tanuki-pyon
“Mom, you can take it easy.”
Sara’s voice was light, carried softly by the summer breeze that rustled the leaves and bushes. It used to be much easier to make this hike, but it also used to be easier to read the paper and make her tea. Diana wasn’t going to complain—not when she’d managed to ride the tides of time so well. Akko wouldn’t complain either, she was sure. In her humble opinion her wife had aged the most gracefully of them all.
She missed her.
The flagstones were old and worn. There was a stubborn growth of grass in the cracks in between, and little flowers. Red ones. They spattered the meadow like freckles, alive and magical in a way so similar to Akko’s laughter.
She missed that too.
The star of this afternoon’s show was another fifteen steps away. That was a lot when you were eighty, but Sara supported her firmly by the arm and brought her closer to their destination one patient step at a time.
“Your eyes are the same color as the flowers,” Diana hummed.
“And Kaa-san’s,” Sara grinned at her. Even her daughter was beginning to show grays in her hair. “Which totally makes sense. Shiny magic around the meadow and all.”
Diana laughed.
They finally arrived at the smooth, stone bench perched at the end of the pathway. It was a few paces from the base of a tall Sakura tree, shining vibrantly pink in a sea of oak, willow, and beech. The fact that it acclimated to Great Britain’s climate was a dendrological phenomenon that she couldn't find the energy to examine—after all, one could quite literally just say it was “magic.”
Because it was.
“Hello there,” Diana spoke softly. Her fingers ghosted over the cool band around her ring finger. She silently admired the deep brown hue of the bark, the way that the branches splayed outwards and upwards with confidence and grace. The leaves crowned it beautifully—she liked that it was in full bloom at this time of the year.
It was a monument that captured everything that Akko was at her prime. It was like watching her spread her arms out towards her adoring audience back when she was still performing.
“We have dried plums, orange juice, and ramen,” Diana began to list off. “And yes, I bought it from the that place you like. It’s still open—so don’t get huffy on authenticity on us.” Sara laughed while preparing their simple picnic spread from the basket. This was their routine, year after year since Akko’s peaceful passing: just the two of them on a short walk into the woods within the Cavendish estate carrying Akko’s favorite food.
Sara arranged each dish on a checkered cloth that was spread between them on the bench. There were two of each dish, but before eating they would light incense at the roots of the tree. They sat in silence for a moment while the smoke rose and wafted through the leaves—higher, and higher until they couldn’t see it anymore.
Diana wondered if it reached her wife, wherever she was. She hoped it carried their thoughts... their laughter.
Their love.
“Happy birthday, Kaa-san!” Sara clapped her hands together with a bow.
Diana smiled at the tree fondly.
“Happy birthday, my dear.”
--
Today was a beautiful day to receive a poem.
“I never knew you were a writer.”
She had her eyebrow quirked in judgment, looking down at the wrinkled parchment held out for her to take. The judgement was a jest, of course. Akko could see right through it—as if the small crack of a smile at the edge of her lips wasn’t indication enough.
The paper had a verse scrawled on it (and a fascinating draft in Akko’s native Japanese tucked in the corner of the page).
‘The world is small and lovely— When seen from such a view I can’t imagine doing it— With anyone but you.’
Akko was grinning so brightly that she didn’t have the heart to comment on uneven meter. The sentiment warmed her heart enough in itself—even more so the fact that it was Akko who made it. “Do you like it?”
She loved it. “Maybe a little bit.”
“Mou, Diana!” Akko huffed, crossing her arms. “So hard to please!”
But Diana smiled softly, taking Akko’s hand and giving it a gentle squeeze to let her know that—yes, she loved it. She just didn’t know how to say so.
She’d learn how one day. Akko was always better at words than she was. But for now, she’d pull Akko to the cafeteria to make the most of the precious few minutes they had for lunch.
She’d keep that wrinkled piece of parchment for years.
--
The weather was always cooperative when they came to visit.
“Is it true that she started a communist uprising among the kitchen staff?”
“And where did you hear that?” Diana raised an eyebrow.
“From the kitchen staff,” Sara deadpanned. “When I was in school several decades ago.”
“If you’re so sure, then why are you asking?”
“Because neither of you confirmed it!” she whined, sounding so much like her mother.
Diana winked, pouring her daughter another glass of juice. “I feel like the mystery adds to the charm of the story, doesn’t it? I will neither confirm nor deny it. It’s up to you.”
“But isn’t that why they have better working conditions now? I don’t get why Kaa-san wouldn’t want to be credited for the betterment of fae and goblin working conditions at Luna Nova.”
“I think that perhaps your mother,” Diana started pointedly, “despite her success, didn’t feel like encouraging her daughter to pick up ‘starting revolts’ as a solution to problems.”
“’Despite her success’ huh?” Sara grinned triumphantly. “So after all these years you finally let it slip.”
Sara’s laughter was musical. Contagious. Soon she was laughing too; it was a skill that Sara seemed to have inherited from Akko flawlessly. Diana sighed, “You’re both always so good at that.”
“At what?”
“Making me feel better.”
--
It was another one of those ‘bad’ days.
Akko called them ‘No-No Days’ just to tease a smile out of her, but sometimes joking and jests weren’t enough. And on those days, Akko knew better than poke at her and let her have her space.
But today, she slipped a sneaky little note into Diana’s pocket while they walked back from the library—one she rolled open while they sat silently on her dormitory’s couch.
"I think you have such pretty eyes— But why are they so dour? Whatever weight is bearing down— Let’s turn from 'yours' to 'ours.'"
By the last line of the verse, she was flooded with relief.
It was a slow easing of pressure from behind her eyes and in her chest, it came along with the feeling that she could breathe again. Quite literally, too, given that her nose had cleared up (having been clogged from crying.) Akko wasn’t looking at her though—she was just leaning back with her eyes closed, holding Diana’s hand while rubbing circles at its back with her thumb. It was repetitive. Reassuring.
“You don’t have to talk about it now,” Akko mumbled. “Whatever it is that’s bothering you, I meant. But I’m here if you want to. And I’m here even if you don’t.”
Emotional and grateful, Diana lifted their hands to kiss tenderly at Akko’s knuckles.
She loved her so much.
She still wasn’t very good with words—but she hoped that Akko could feel it.
--
“So when she proposed,” Sara began, picking off at the dried plums they brought with them to woods, “did she write you another one of those poems?”
Diana hummed. She looked at the jar of plums, covered in sticky sweet syrup. They were wrinkled pits that looked nothing like the kind of food she thought Akko would have been into, but here she was: sharing plums with Sara who picked up Akko’s sweet tooth herself. “I don’t think she did, actually. And the question of who proposed to who is still up for debate.”
“Really, mum?” The younger witch laughed. “After all these years you’re still not letting that go? As far as I know, Kaa-san dropped on her knees first.”
“On a whim, after running out of the restaurant we were having dinner in—leaving me bewildered for all of fifteen minutes, mind you—and coming back with a ring she brought from the store across the street.”
“That sounds just like her,” Sara shook her head.
“I, on the other hand,” Diana said carefully, “had my ring ready for a whole month by that point. Had it in my pocket for every dinner we had since I bought it. I guess… I kept waiting for the perfect moment.”
“Well, she gaveyou the perfect moment.”
Not for the first time that afternoon, Diana looked up at the bright pink leaves that kept them shielded from the sun. They rustled in the wind peacefully.
“She often did.” Diana smiled fondly. “Another poem I did get from her was from when were newly married.”
--
“Akko?”
She wasn’t there. That was odd. It was still too early for her to be up, and Diana knew that Akko’s morning disposition wasn’t the best, so where could she have gone? She flung her arm to the side on instinct, longing for the fading traces of warmth still lingering under the covers. There was a note.
“Honey?” Diana called out softly. She could smell breakfast wafting in from the kitchen. She chuckled, “Married for all of three days and you’re leaving me to wake up alone already?”
“Mmgetting food mmready!” came a muffled yell from beyond their opened door. It sounded very much like she was eating it too.
Diana sank back into their sheets in contemplation. Should she get up? Should she rest her eyes a little more? It was a Saturday anyway, perhaps a little more rest would—
“Hi.”
The object of her affection popped around the side of their doorway. She looked silly—head tilted sideways and hovering on its own.
“Hey.” Diana smiled back lazily.
“Made us breakfast.”
“I hope you didn’t eat all of it before I even got out of bed.”
“Mou!” Akko pouted. “I tried to surprise you. It’s rare that I wake up before you, you know!”
Diana pulled her covers up, still feeling groggy. “I’m very excited to try it then.”
“Now get up, sleeping beauty!” Akko was dashing away to the kitchen once more, footsteps fading into muffled thuds on their carpeted dark wood floors.
She read Akko’s note another time.
‘In every day that I wake up— And see I’m not alone I tell myself, “it’s not a dream”— “Good morning,” “Welcome home.”
--
“No way.” Sara shook her head, glass of orange juice stalling halfway up. “Kaa-san burnt the whole meal?”
“She wasn’t always the awe-inspiring cook you knew her to be.”
“I find that hard to believe,” her daughter said firmly. “Like—with all the roast porchettaand her take on Aunt Sucy’s adobo? By Jennifer mum, did you see how wonderfully glazed she gets that sauce? And when she pours it over the rice!”
Diana was laughing by now. “And you wonder why I have medication for hypertension.”
“Fair.”
“You know, she only got better when you were born.”
Sara leaned forward, hands bunching up on her lap. Even now, a full-grown adult, she kept the habits that grew so dear to Diana. The mess of her light brown hair, the curious red eyes. She was so proud of her. And know that even though she was gone now, Akko was there to see her grow and bloom into who she was now… there wasn’t much more to ask for, Diana thought.
“She wanted to get you started on helping her with kitchen chores as early as you could talk,” Diana chuckled.
“Is this why we have so many pictures of me as a baby holding weird ingredients?”
Diana nodded.
“Mum! You let me hold a whole chicken.”
“I tried to talk her out of that one.”
“An entire chicken!”
--
A strong and sudden ‘thud’ nearly made Diana jump in her seat.
“By the Nine, Akko.” Diana secured the sleeping bundle in her arms. “You’re going to wake her.”
“Sorry!” Akko grinned, patting the top of a stack of books she’d unloaded onto the kitchen table.
“Cookbooks?”
“Mhm!” Akko nodded. “I’ve got Japanese, American—and English recipes too, unfortunately.”
“Unfortunately?”
“Nothing, honey.” Akko walked over to the couch where Diana was seated. “How is the little lady?”
“Asleep.” Diana punctuated. “And I’d very much like to keep it that way.”
“Giving you trouble again, huh?”
“Nothing I can’t handle.” She reassured. “I’m pretty sure that we can get a chef to handle culinary affairs for our household. You don’t need to worry about—”
“Hmm, nope!” Akko whispered, settling down to lay down on her lap and careful not to jostle Sara’s sleeping form. “I had the best lunch bentos as a kid.”
“I remember you telling me this.”
“Kaa-san always amazed me. I’d go to school and tell everyone what I was having for lunch and that my mom made it because it was just so, so good.”
Diana grinned. “If mom’s katsudon is any benchmark for judgement, I can understand why you seem so spoiled with good food.”
“Exactly!” Akko beamed. “Oh—sorry. Yes. Quiet. But I want to do this for her.” She softly reached up to brush against the blankets around Sara. “I want her to say, “Kaa-san made me this!” and to always like the food at home. I want to send her to school with bento boxes that she’ll miss when she eventually needs to settle for the endless potatoes in Luna Nova.”
They both snickered.
Akko carefully sat up to lean on Diana’s shoulder, looking down at their peacefully sleeping daughter.
“So I’m going to be such a good cook. And I think I’m getting a little better at improv poetry.”
“Really now?” Diana hummed.
Akko nodded.
“Her little eyes are mine, Her lovely laugh is yours Can’t wait until she’s old enough To handle kitchen chores.”
Their snickering rose into laugher—and then groaning, because Sara woke up with the most enthusiastic of cries.
--
“The potatoes really were lame though, mum.”
“I never disagreed. But we needed to make do with what we had.”
“Honorable Cavendish Translation mode, I hated it too?”
Their food and drinks had run low by now. The slow creep of darkness was starting, but they stayed to watch as the sky turned pink, orange, and blue. The wind was almost musical.
“I miss her.” Sara began quietly.
“As do I,” Diana fetched a little note from her purse. “Always.”
“But I’m so happy with what she’s left us.”
“For me—that would be you.” Diana reached over to hold her hand. They both looked up towards the tree. “And I’d never ask for anything more.”
“I love you, mum.”
“And I love you.” She brushed her thumb over the tattered edges of the notes—they were beginning to thin along the folds.
“Do you think you want to read it already?”
“I think I’m ready to now, yes.” Diana let her go to hold the note with both hands. “I’ve been… hanging on to it for far too long.”
It was the last one.
The final verse that Akko had left her—one she’s never had the heart to open. It meant letting go. It meant… that she’d never have another poem to look forward to.
But over time her grief had refined itself into longing, and the longing mellowed into the bittersweet taste of love that endures. Now all that was left was love.
Besides, today was a beautiful day to receive a poem.
"Lean softly on our daughter— Don’t worry over me. My darling, lay your grief to rest— It’s time we both be free."
what up its me ya boi with Diana Week 2021: Tuesday. This is me trying to promo my one of my fics with this doodle mess, and I hope to tbh just promo my fics for the rest of the week (maybe)
What fic is this specific one you ask? Well... Dreamer of Stars (also pinned to my blog)! and here are the TOP TEN REASONS you should definitely go read it!
1. Please
2. It’s literally just a one-shot. Fast and easy to read and understand, and you’ll get the whole story in just one(1) chapter!
3. It has Diana. In fact, the whole story is about Diana! In fact, in fact, it’s her whole “perspective” and how she visualizes her thoughts and feelings!
4. The synopsis is basically that she doesn’t really know how to express herself
5.  Yes it’s Diakko. Heavily Diakko even.
6. I will be Very Happy. Dreamer of Stars is still my most prized possession. Some lore about me: Despite this blogs purpose, I’m more of a writer than I am an artist so yes I do see my writing better than my art (tho my art is slowly getting there)
7. Has a lot of cute gay metaphor shit for you to project on because Diana’s a lil baby
8.  I promise its not sad or depressing and it has a satisfying ending i PROMISE
9. plz you can easily read it on your down time its a small little story but I want some more validation
10. What are you waiting for!! It’s available on Here: Tumblr! And AO3 and FFnet!
「It’s not even winter yet」
Summary: Thanksgiving Diakko
Part 1 / Part 2
Luna Nova has a diverse student demographic—Canada, America, Russia, Germany, Finland, India, Kenya—of course, can’t forget Japan as well.
Learning at Luna Nova is learning magic and the world.
For example, Akko saw a snippet of the practical Finland when Lotte, an honor student, willingly ditched Professor Ursula’s supplementary lessons to attend the Night Fall event. It was memorable how Lotte coolly stated that a few eggs must be cracked to make an omelet (although Akko also learned later that Finland food does not match her taste well).
Whenever she’s with Jasminka, Akko can’t help but feel like she entered a candy shop with all the Russian sweets Jasminka has shared. And Akko can experience a little bit of Kenyan culture with Wangari’s accessory and makeup.
However, an even better way to learn about each other’s culture is to celebrate their holidays. But you can imagine that celebrating every holiday at Luna Nova will bring a strong halt to academics, so only major holidays are typically given a three day break. This might feel short but considering how magic was rejuvenated, it became possible to fly back to home quicker than an airplane can even when there are no connecting Reylines.
Halloween, Christmas, New Year’s, Father’s Day, and Mother’s Day are a must.
Occasionally, specific cultural holidays are celebrated such as Easters in April and Diwali in October.
Right now it is November, which means that Thanksgiving will be celebrated. Amanda and other North American students will be going home to eat turkey, cornbread, potato gratin, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. If they don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, then students will either go home or remain at Luna Nova, spending time at Brightonbury.
With the approach of a three-day break, every student was in a good mood…except for one student who was loudly voicing her fit of temper.
“Unfair! Everyone is either going home or shopping in town! Isn’t that unfair!?”
To such an unreasonable complaint, Sucy reasonably replies.
“It’s your fault that you can’t fly, Akko. Just stay at Luna Nova.”
“I can fly! It’s a little, but I can still fly! And I don’t want to spend a three day break at school! That’s boring!”
“Then do you want to harvest mushrooms?”
“I don’t want to do that either!”
While Sucy cackles at Akko’s whine, Lotte tried to comfort Akko with a suggestion.
“Akko, why don’t you go home by airplane before the break starts?”
“Great ide-no! I’ll fall further behind on studying! Plus, ticket prices are a bit expensive…”
Seeing her friend slump her shoulder in disappointment, Lotte wanted to do something to help.
Lotte wouldn’t hesitate inviting Akko to her home, but unfortunately, Akko couldn’t stomach Finland food. Her invitation might be unwanted…Lotte was lost in thought but not for long thanks to a voice that came from behind.
“Akko, may I have your time for a small while?”
“Diana! Yeah, what’s up?”
“If you do not have any prior reservations, would you be willing to spend this Thanksgiving Break at the Cavendish Manor?
It was just a simple question, yet to Akko’s ears it was a beautiful melody. With stars in her eyes, Akko expressed her joy with her whole body.
“I’ll go, I’ll go! Will there be turkey? What about punkin!?”
At the sight of seeing Akko too excited to properly pronounce ‘pumpkin,’ Diana softly smiled and calmly answered.
“No, Britain doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving, so there will be no turkey…”
Akko had been wildly swinging Diana’s hands up until that very second.
“…however, there will be lamb chop and other side dishes served. Of course, pumpkin pie, too.
“LAMB CHOPS!?!? I’ll definitely go!!”
 It took the wrath of Professor Finnelan to quiet down Akko, who was now curious on one thing.
If she recalled correctly, Diana had previously said that she was going to spend this break at Luna Nova.
Although she was happy for the invitation, she was also too curious so she asked Diana why the change of plans, which she shouldn’t have because curiosity always kills the cat.
Diana pulled out a letter from her uniform.
“I do not know what she is planning, but Aunt Daryl insisted on inviting you to the Cavendish Manor.”
“Wait. That Aunt Daryl?”
“Yes, Aunt Daryl.”
“er…hahaha, um, I don’t think I can ma-”
“Akko, from last week’s movie that you picked, I learned that ‘a samurai does not go back on his words.’”
Why would you bring that up now!? Besides, I’m a girl! A witch! A student! I’m no samurai.
“Y-yes…”
Akko couldn’t bring herself to say that in front of Diana. Not when she was glaring daggers at her.
Diakko Week Day 1
@dianakko-week
Childhood Friends:
Also read here on AO3
Diana was nervous about entering this program.  She wasn’t the most social girl around, and didn’t have many friends from her own school.   Her mother insisted she make friends her own age though.  It would be good for her, right?  Well perhaps not being directly with this person would help.  That’s why she signed up for the pen-pal program.
She looked at the profile of the girl she was matched up with.  Atsuko Kagari: born 25th of June, a few months later than herself.  From Chiba, Japan.  There was a little portrait of the girl with the profile.  A cheery brunette with captivating ruby eyes.  From the girl’s description of herself, she was a huge fan of Shiny Chariot, which Diana was actually excited for.  She’d never had someone share that interest with her.  Perhaps the girl had a collection of cards as well.  Would they allow her to send one in the mail?  Maybe they could trade.
Diana eagerly sat at her desk, pulling out a pen and paper to begin writing her first letter.
Dear Atsuko,
I’m very glad we are getting this chance to know each other.  I saw that you’re a fan of Shiny Chariot!  Have you been to one of her shows yet?  I still haven’t yet, but one day I very much hope to.
Diana paused, unsure of what else to bring up in this letter.  Perhaps ask about Atsuko’s life in Japan?  How much different was it to England anyway?  Hurriedly, she scribbled those thoughts down.  She really was curious about it now.  Maybe she could do some research about it in the meantime.  But it certainly wouldn’t be the same as learning about it directly from someone who lived there.  Yes, certainly.  Perhaps she could regale this girl with stories about her experiences in Britain then.
~~~~~~~
Diana,
Please, just call me Akko.  We’re pals after all!  Btw, I haven’t seen Chariot in person yet, but she’s actually coming here in a few months!  I’m so excited!  I’ve been begging my parents for tickets for ages now!  I really really hope they say yes!  And OMG, it’s so cool that you’re a fan too!  Hey!  You totally gotta see my collection sometime.  I got so many!
And your stories about England sound awesome!  I’d totally like to go someday!  Hey, I could tell you all about my hometown.  I got some pictures right here.
Akko gathered her collection of photos to send to this Diana girl.  Everything from old landmarks ‘kaasan said would make good additions, to the blurry and tilted pictures Akko took around her own home.  This was gonna be great!  Akko couldn’t believe she was gonna be involved with this foreign girl.  She could learn so much from her!  After all, that is what this program advertised.  Though she hated to admit it, Akko was a little nervous about entering in the first place.  She didn’t know what kind of language the person she was gonna be matched up with was.  She was pretty thankful it was an English girl though.  Though her own was shaky, it was something she always wanted to learn.  She could be just like Chariot that way!  Yeah, this was gonna be great!
Really, neither of the two girls knew what the future would hold in store for them.  Each letter sent brought forth more and more of their strengthening bond.  A few weeks turned into a few months, and then a few years.  Exchanging emails and so forth the two grew close in a way no one could have predicted.  But the fated day drew near.
~~~~~~~
Akko looked up at the grand building before her.  Who knew a school could be so old, haha!  But this is the exact one Chariot studied at years ago, and the one Diana would be attending.
Akko slapped her cheeks, yes, she was here.  She was about to attend The Luna Nova Academy!  She was gonna become a stage performer just like Chariot!  She was gonna meet Diana in person for the first time in years!  This was it!
And as she took her first steps in that school, all she could do was keep her eyes out for the blonde.
“Akko?”
Akko turned around, seeing the beauty heading right for her.  “Diana!”
Akko took off in a sprint, practically bowling the girl over.  “Diana!  It’s been so long!  How are you doing!”
“Fine, fine,”  the blonde chuckled, brushing a stray lock of hair out of her face.  “How was your flight?”
“Oh, it was great!”
A pair of coughs sounded from behind the girls, catching their attention.  Two very unimpressed girls stood there, watching the scene unfold.  “Um, Diana?  Who’s this?”
“Oh, this is Akko.”
“What?!”  The pair exclaimed in unison.  “This is the Akko you never shut up about?”
While the two continued in incoherent rambling, Diana turned her attention to the one in her embrace.  “By the way, it is great to see you again, Akko.”
The brunette blushed in that moment.  They’d known each other for years, and it was always special whenever they were able to meet up.  Moments they had to enjoy for all their worth, moments that seemed fleeting.  Now they could truly savor the moment.  They’d be together for some time yet, and Akko never wanted that time to end.
Love Note
So today is the birthday of a good friend of mine and I decided to write them a little something as a gift. They just finished watching LWA so I decided that some dianakko content was the best way to celebrate.
Happy Birthday, Jade. Hope you enjoy the read.
~~~
Akko had a habit of doodling on her notes. Sometimes whatever subject she was learning was so incomprehensibly boring that she just couldn’t help herself. Originally those doodles had been of her as Chariot. Facing giant monsters, putting on cool shows, designing pretty outfits, but recently they have started to change.
‘A + D = <3’ She wrote, absentmindedly, on the corners of her notebook. Akko couldn’t exactly pinpoint when she started having this crush on Diana, but after they saved the world together it started hitting her extra hard. She could barely take her eyes away from her and it was starting to affect her, not exactly great, grades.
And that is why she asked Diana for her notes, so she could study and prepare for their next test... and also because any excuse to talk to Diana is a good excuse. Still her mind had lost any interest in studying the linguist roots of spells and was now far too busy deciding if diakko or dianakko sounded better.
“There you are” Diana’s unmistakable voice called as she approached Akko in the library “Have my notes been helping you?”
“Yes, they helped me so much” Akko lied
“That is good, because I’m gonna need them back” She said and Akko nearly jumped in surprise. She still needed those notes if she had any hope of getting a passing grade “Don’t worry, It’s just for tonight. Hanna and Barbara want to hold a study night just for the blue team. I’ll give them back to you in the morning” Diana explained herself.
“Yeah, sure, of course” Akko agreed, way too many times, and handed Diana her notebook.
They shared a short conversation on how their team were doing, before once again parting ways. Akko slumping on her chair as soon as Diana left her sight. The more she spent time with Diana the less hope she felt that she could ever confess to the girl. Defeated she reached for her notebook and-
Color drained from her face as she realized that it was not her notebook and if her notebook wasn’t here, then it was with Diana right now. Her notebook full of love notes and doodles of them holding hands was now in Diana’s possession. Akko could feel her soul slowly dying as she realized what she had just done.
That horrified and hopeless look remained on Akko’s face as she went through the rest of her day. During dinner, shower, even as she slept, according to Lotte. Not even Sucy’s near deadly alchemical pranks managed to bring Akko back to reality - much to Sucy’s dismay. And as Diana approached her again the next morning, Akko braced herself for impact.
“Sorry for keeping these for so long” Diana apologized, handing Akko her notebook “Hope you still have time to study before the test”
“S-sure. No worries” Did Akko give her the right notebook all along? Had she gone through all of this for no reason? As she watched Diana leave she kicked herself for being so over dramatic.
“Oh and Akko” Diana added, turning back to look at her friend with a beaming smile“I like Dianakko better”

Little Witch Academia Background Witch Ships
Hello everyone, back again with another post of mine! This time about my ideas on which BG Girls I ship together. Now yes, I do heavily ship Diakko, Chariox, Barbtte, Hamanda, whatever the ship name for Jasminka and Constanze is. But, I think this would still be fun to post about! I think it would also be fun if I put thoughts for how I can see these ships working. Also, some of these points were made by my friend http://shintorikhazumi.tumblr.com, so I'll be pointing out her ideas for how the ships work. Now enough chit chat, let the list begin~!
Avery x Mary
My Thoughts:
Avery x Mary goes something like this. Since Avery and Mary are in the same dorm room, they interact a lot. I can imagine Avery finding Mary annoying and idiotic at first, but after getting to know her more, she soon finds out that Mary is just pretty excitable and just wanted to be friends, yet is still rather idiotic. As for Mary, she doesn't take things personally so she just takes Avery's coldness in stride. After talking with each other, Avery and some point singing to Mary, and Mary showing Avery some movies she likes, I imagine that that's where the relationship starts.
Khaz's Thoughts:
I kinda fancy the idea of Avery hiding that she likes to sing at first, and Mary finding out in some random way, and tries to use the topic to get closer to Avery, but the latter gets annoyed with that at first, because it's something she never really shares with anyone.
Joanna x Kimberly
My Thoughts:
The thing about the LNNN Crew is that they don't have much on them, except Wangari. Wangari is a bit eccentric but she's also kind and always looking for interesting news. My friend says in Chamber of Time, Joanna is a lot more eccentric, the only thing they remember her doing is yelling about scoops and taking pictures. And Kimberly seems to be eerily quiet, always taking notes, basically really creepy. I've been roleplaying with said friend for more than a couple of years now, and we've had multiple rp's where I play Joanna to be perky, easily excitable, prone to getting easily distracted, hyper, a bit weird and strange most of the time, and very caring. We've kept Kimberly being eerie, pretty distant, rather even scary at times. However, she has a soft spot for her teammates, especially Joanna. Joanna loves to hold and cuddle Kimberly, and Kimberly loves how affectionate Joanna is. Wangari thinks its rather cute how they interact.
Khaz's Thoughts:
Yeah, you really don't get much to work with considering other characters. So even in writing, it's more like, left up to interpretation for most haha. Like how you write them, but built off this base you're given in the anime and minimal resource. That is an interesting take tho.
Sola x Rajani and Rashmi
You see, the two love Sola to no end, and Sola really loves them too. But, the twins are also rather possessive of her. Keep her close to them and even spying on her at times to make sure no one makes a move on her. They even do that thing where they stand behind Sola and do that scary-ominous-in-the-shadows-threatening-look you see in anime when someone tries to flirt with her. So yeah, they make sure Sola is their's to be that close with, and no one else.
Khaz's Thoughts:
So the twins are sharing? "Sharing" essentially? Haha~! That would make for cute balance dynamics, and playing around especially when they have those slight comparisons or jealous episodes. The healthy ones. It's one thing to be jealous of other people and protecting her together, then it's another if it's towards each other. That jealousy. Haha~!
Sucy x Irene
My Thoughts:
Well, for these two it falls mostly in line with their interests. You see, both Sucy and Irene love to prank people, and both aren't the best students. I imagine the relationship starts with them pranking each other, and getting spooked by each other's pranks. Sucy notices how small Irene is (like she's literally Constanze and Sola sized), and begins to follow her. Irene is pretty annoyed by this and constantly tells Sucy to go away. But, Sucy soon gives her advice on how to make her pranks better, and on how not to get caught. So, Irene starts to get slightly used to Sucy. After sometime, Irene starts to hang out with Sucy and even calls her a friend. But, her roommates don't like this, often trying to at times keeping her away from Sucy, and making her improve her grades. Sucy finds loop holes around this though, and sneaks her way to see Irene again. This develops into Irene's roommates and Sucy hating eachother, seeing the other as either an obstacle to seeing her friend, or as a bad influence that needs to stay away. Pretty soon, Sucy starts hugging Irene or picking her up. And this is pretty easy since she's small. Irene's pretty annoyed by this everytime it happens and always demands to be put down, with Sucy not really complying. Irene tries struggling, but even she can't deny it feels nice. Sucy says she doesn't know why she always does this, but it clearly bothers her that she can't explain this. After awhile, Irene is used to this and pretty much lets Sucy hold her. After that, Sucy realizes she's in love with Irene, and she clearly doesn't like that. She's not suppose to have this feeling for anyone, its too embarrassing! But, she soon caves in and tells Irene how she feels, to which Irene reveals that she felt the same way. And so, that's how their relationship starts!
Khaz's Thoughts:
The Sucy following Irene sounds so adorable! Especially if it's just Sucy quietly stalking after her, in that hunched, almost just a cape wrapped around her form like when they went to Andrew's. Seeing that image in my head. Irene whipping her head back to catch Sucy and the latter just stops moving, doesn't even flinch. And then when Irene walks again, Sucy just follows. And they just repeat this looking back and pausing, then back to walking and following.
Bianca x Aileen
My Thoughts:
Basically, Bianca is Luna Nova's student chef, and makes all sorts of magical dishes, she's even hoping to start her own restaurant in the future that makes magical dishes! Aileen loves Bianca's cooking, and can accurately name the ingredients Bianca used in her recipe in her sleep when she sleep-talks. I can see this forming a relationship, starting with Aileen helping Bianca cook, Bianca always going to Aileen when she makes something new, and Aileen wanting to make Bianca's dream a reality. Aileen could even give Bianca a cute nickname, like "Her Favorite Chef!", or something like that. Anyways, that's pretty much what I got for these two.
Khaz's Thoughts:
I can see them having little games when hanging out, like Bianca making Aileen guess which among a set of three similar dishes has a different ingredient, and what ingredient that is, making bets and such. And whenever they go somewhere fancy for dates, Aileen will always tell Bianca that she cooks better to which the latter will either blush and tell her thank you or to knock it off while being embarrassed. And to stop flattering her, while Aileen pouts and mutters "It's true tho...".
Heather x Daisy
I don't really have to say much for these two since in canon, there is a hint of them being an item already. Heather likes to sweet-talk with Daisy and flirt with her, and I can imagine that Daisy takes a liking to this. So, I can see that relationship forming pretty quickly. Plus, Daisy often calls herself the cutest witch in the world, and Heather and their roommate Rosie are the only ones who will constantly agree with her. Yet, I imagine Rosie does this mostly to be polite, while Heather does this out of a genuine love for Daisy. So yeah, pretty easy to ship these two.
Khaz didn't have extended ideas for these two, but she thought they were cute together.
Maria x Carmen
Well, Carmen "Wishing to become an ojō-sama-type person, she became cold towards Akko. Carmen is also noted to be very stubborn and doesn't change her opinions very often.". While Maria "Is a pessimistic girl who is always worried. She finds the solace in brewing potions but, everyone dislikes nearing her due to the smell from her concoctions." Well, I imagine Carmen would be often cold and cruel to even people she's fond of, unintentionally pushing them away. Her stubborn attitude also prevents her from giving up old habits easily, or changing her mood even when she knows she's in the wrong. So, Carmen often is cruel to even her friends, especially Maria. While I imagine Maria is depressed and will seek comfort in others since she has very few friends and is pretty much starved of genuine human contact and love 88% of the time due to her smell. I imagine that even talking 18 baths a day wouldn't get rid of the reached smell! Carmen never means to do this, she just isn't the type to change her mood easily. But, there might have been a part of her that did hate Maria at first. She was ashamed of her. Ashamed of herself. Not that that was right of her. And she knew this. She still had enough of a conscious to know this wasn't right, and started to feel bad. She really regrets this . She thinks Maria is cute and often thinks of asking her out. But, her bad attitude and mean spirited behavior makes her think that that is impossible. But, it hurts her to know she's hurting Maria by doing this. That, and Maria's smell tends to repulse her. Plus, maybe her incompetence with money and her failure to become wealthy makes her more enraged. Along with Akko's antics and her dream of becoming a wealthy young lady of high class society slowly becoming impossible. And because of this, Maria becomes more depressed and opens up to the few friends she has. Also hurt that Carmen, a girl she likes, treats her so cruel. It would take a lot of time and work for them to get together.
Khaz's Thoughts:
Oof just the first lines of these two got me hurting. But I think because of the stark flaws they have, there's a lot to work with. It would make for quite the dramatic slowburn, and if the payoff is done well, it would feel real great.
And this is it~! Thanks for taking a look if you did, and I apologize to Khaz heavily for taking so long to finish this up and post this!! But, finally I can got this out! I hope you all enjoyed, because intend to make more posts involving these lovely couples, and even more of them, in the future. So, yeah, have a great day and/or night and stuff.

A Little Less Sixteen Candles
[LWA, Diakko, Fluff, Pre-Relationship, College AU] AO3 Link
Sumamry: Diana's standing at the threshold of Akko's doorway and she really, really wants to kiss her.
--
“I had fun.”
Akko was bouncing on her toes. She was grinning up at Diana and she’d be lying if she said it wasn’t the most precious thing she’d seen all day. She played with the hem of her shirt while they stood at the threshold of her dormitory building, not ready to let Diana go quite yet.
“I did too,” Diana replied with a smile. She leaned against the doorframe, reaching forward to straighten the collar of Akko’s letterman jacket.
“Ah. Yes. Must look presentable within the comforts of my dormitory.”
Diana flushed, “force of habit.”
“You’re in the habit of fixing people’s collars?”
“No,” she laughed. Tender and all. “Just yours.”
It made Akko giggle. Diana liked that.
“Thanks again for coming to the fair with me.”
“Thank you for inviting me,” Diana countered. “Otherwise, I’d have missed out on the—what did you call it? The best hotdog stand you could find in England?”
“So far.” Akko held a finger up to her face in correction. “I’m actually surprised at how many hotdog stands I’ve visited in two years.”
Diana’s response was to swat away her hand by catching it in her own, intertwining their fingers as their hands fell to hang in the space between them. It still made her nervous whenever she tried to reach for her hands, but oh the way it made her feel—like a jolt of electricity that ran from her fingertips to the back of her neck, leaving a trail of warmth in its wake. It was nice, given how cold she’s been feeling walking in the snow. “I’m not surprised at all.”
Akko dropped her gaze to look at their hands, giving Diana’s a squeeze. “So… I’m guessing you have to head back?”
“I have to go over my revisions tonight, so I probably should.”
“Alright,” Akko relented.
Despite the farewells, no one let go.
Diana didn’t even move to turn away.
There were crickets singing overhead, and the distant sound of evening rush hour traffic. There was an air of expectation between them—anticipation.
Akko was the first one to move, pulling her closer by the hand and getting back up on her tiptoes. Enthralled, Diana let the breath she was holding come loose, eyes closing while she waited, wondering if Akko was going to go for the move they had danced around for so long but never committed to. The one she hasn’t been brave enough to make herself—at least, not yet.
Oh.
She got a kiss on the cheek.
Not was she was expecting, but still enough to make her smile.
“Take care on the way home, okay?” Akko said softly.
“Yeah,” Diana hummed, finally stepping back out of the way of the door.
When she turned her back to face the street, she heard the ‘thud’ of the door closing behind her, but not click of the lock. She didn’t move. Instead, she slumped back to lean against the door, hand coming up to brush the spot where Akko had kissed. It wasn’t the first time. She doubted it would be the last. But she hoped for more. Wanted more. And every moment in that silly fair downtown felt like a build up to something… magical.
Yet here she was, out on the street with the door behind her. She loved every bit of affection that Akko would share with her, but something tells her she let ‘magical’ slip away.
She wanted to kiss her.
She wanted to kiss kiss her.
She blew it, and she was going to have to wait, and that’s fine.
Diana straightened her back, hiking the strap of her messenger bag up her shoulder, ready for the walk back home. She could try again. Next time. Next time, for sure, she wouldn’t chicken out and reallyshow Akko how she felt.
She took a step forward, snow crunching under her feet, and stopped.
“To hell with it,” she muttered to herself, turning a hundred and eighty degrees and reaching for the doorknob.
It swung out of her reach, much to her surprise, and she had nearly stumbled forward but caught the edge of the door frame to steady herself.
“Diana—!” Akko was in full view, ready to head back out into the street.
Diana had a quick recovery from her stumble, reaching forward to cup Akko’s cheeks. No more next times—no more trying again. She leaned closer, closer, and found that Akko had pulled her by the collar to meet her halfway for clumsy, hurried kiss.
“I’ve wanted to kiss you,” she finally managed to stutter out. “All this time.”
“You just did, silly.” Akko wrapped her arms around Diana’s neck, swaying them back outside into the cold, snowy night.
“Can I do it again?”
“I’d be upset if you didn—”
She did.
