Marinette’s worse day or Adrien’s Birthday.

Marinette was in luck! No school, no “friends” just her. Marinette rolls over to head back to sleep.

“Marinette!” A squeaky voice called out. Marinette opens one of her eyes just barely to see Tikki in her face. “You need to get up! Today’s Adrien’s birthday remember.” Marinette forces her body up. She reaches for her phone.

1 new notification! From Alya.

Marinette thinks for a moment. Sighing Marinette opens her phone.

“Hey girl! I know you and Lila have some love rivalness for Adrien but it his BIRTHDAY! Take your shot! X3. Love ya!”

“Love rivalness?” Marinette would laugh if she didn’t want to cry. Throwing her self back on the bed she coughs. Marinette learned awhile ago to not cry in front of Tikki.

“What are you giving Adrien?” Speaking of Tikki.

“I don’t know.” Marinette gets up. She thinks back to when she would be so crazy about today. But she’s numb. Sighing this must be what its like to fall out of love. She walks down to computer. Her room feels empty. Bare walls from when she tore all of Adrien’s photos down in a bad panic attack.

“What do you mean you don’t know?! You should be so happy! What about all those gifts you had made for him?” Right the gifts that caused Chris to lose it and be akumatized. Marinette hadn’t told Tikki that those gift were all thrown out to.

“There gone. I got rid of them. They were creepy.” Marinette tuned out Tikki. She looks at her half made gifts. Sitting in the middle was a unfinished white and blue scarf. It was almost October. Grabbing it Marinette decided that she would finish it and give it to Adrien.

The next few minutes Marinette gathers the materials. It takes her almost two hours to finish. A quiet voice says ‘Should have only taken 30 minutes. Slacker.’ Marinette grabs to scarf half tempted to throw it out and starts again. As soon as the thought enters her head all of Marinette’s energy is drained.

“Oh Marinette it looks beautiful!”

“Thank you Tikki.” Marinette goes to find a box or bag to put it in. She finds a small black box with a green ribbon tied to it. The contrast should look nice. Wrapping up the scarf. Marinette checks her phone again.

3 new notification! One from Ayla. Two from Nino.

Shit. Marinette didn’t take her phone off of silence. Marinette opened Alya’s first.

“Girl where are you!” At home? Where else would she be.

Opening Nino’s next, “Mari, where are you?” “Marinette. Please tell me that you know about Adrien’s birthday party?!”

Marinette could feel Nino’s desperation. Marinette typed no and deleted it over a dozen times. Tears filling her eyes. Marinette sends a simple no she didn’t. Closing her eyes she sighed.

“Tikki spots on.” Before Tikki could say anything Marinette transforms.

Ladybug crawls out of Marinette’s room onto her roof. The plan was simple drop the gift off and head back home to sleep this day away.

The trip was short. Ladybug sits on one of the roofs near the Agreste Mansion. Ladybug could see the class through the window. Everyone looks so happy. Well expect Nino, he pacing in a different room on his phone. Ladybug can only assume that he’s trying to call Marinette. She looked around. Ladybug could see that the gifts are in Adrien’s room. She swings over.

Ladybug hops in. She thinks about detransforming. But Marinette wasn’t suppose to be here. She wasn’t suppose to be here. Ladybug walks over to the stacks of gifts. She puts her near the bottom. Ladybug hears footsteps and panics. She runs and hides in a closet.

“Stupid fucking Adrien.” A voice walks in. “Oh look at me. I live in a mansion with my dad and have all the friends I could ever WANT.” *CRASH* Ladybug flinches. Whoever this was is angry. Ladybug was to be out of here. “What do I have! Nothing! He COULDN’T even bother to show up to my dad’s funeral! His mom died when we were six. MY DAD DIED 3 MONTHS AGO.” *SLAMS* The voice is gone.

Ladybug doesn’t hesitate to get out of there. Running to the window she jumps. Swinging away.

Ladybug sits at the Eiffel tower. Who was that? Why were they so angry at Adrien. Why didn’t Adrien go to this person’s dads funeral?

A portal opens under Ladybug.

“Hello Ladybug.” A unknown voice says. “I hope I wasn’t interrupting anything.”

Ladybug turns to the voice ready to fight. Standing in front of her was a women? Her body seems to stay out of focus.

“No need to fight. We haven’t met yet… We will soon tho. You can call me the Hare. I am the bunny Miraculous user.”

“What happened to BunnyX!” The woman seems to float around the darken void.

“I’m not sure how BunnyX described time to you. But the future is not set in stone and neither was she. In one timeline BunnyX will exist. This is not that time.” The wom- The Hare taps her umbrella on the ground and the void seems to come to life. The room is white and vines grows up. Each branch goes to a different glowing hole.

“Woah.” Ladybug was amazed.

“This is my Burrow,” Hare spins with her arm out. “Each of these portals lead to a different future. Which is why I brought you here.” Hare stops.

“Is something wrong with the future!” Ladybug panics.

The Hare lets out a hardy laugh, “No not our future. Our future is still growing fast,” The hare gesture to the main root that is growing out of the dead center. “No this is a future that has already pasted. On that came and went during BunnyX time.” Hare walks over to Ladybug and taps the ground sending The both of them up. The ground comes to a slamming halt. Ladybug’s stomach entered her throat.

“Ladybug look.” The Hare hand touches the portal. The portal was dark. Ladybug felt dread creep into her body. A paralyzing fear. She grabs one of Hare’s arm for support. Hare taps the ground twice to move them away from the portal. “I’m sorry. I forgot how being near a dead portal feels.”

“Dead- Dead portal.”

“A portal where you other self is gone. The only living person in this future is Chat Noir… Or as he now goes by Chat Blanc. Can I tell you this future’s story?” Ladybug could only give a sad nod.

“I can’t tell you everything as that would reveal Chat, and HawkMoth’s identities to you. You and Chat did end up dating. It was going well you two are happy… Both in and out of civilian form. Yes, when you two started dating you revealed your identities to each other. But the world decided that neither of you should be happy. People drove you two apart, each of you were hurt. But still you tried to make it work. You two found HawkMoth and when fighting him, things happened and Chat was put into intense emotional distress. HawkMoth thought he could take advantage of it. Akumatizing Chat. But Chat didn’t want to hurt anyone, and end up destroying the moon. Somehow stopping the earth’s rotation and flooding Paris… Flooding the whole world. Killing everyone, but him. He’s been alone ever since.”

Ladybug was sobbing. Her chest hurts, her head hurts, everything hurts. Ladybug crumbles onto the floor. Hare just holds her.

“I ask you to help me put him at rest. It has been several years for him.”

“Will it bring everyone back?!”

“The Ladybug miraculous alone can not bring the dead back. I’m sorry.” Ladybug can only sob harder.

“I’ll help you. I’ll help Chat!” Ladybug looks Hare in the eyes.

“Understood. Let a few things be known. Chat’s mental health has deteriorated. Try to not get into a fight with him, he will win. I can not bring you back if you… pass” Ladybug understood. No fighting, no dying.

“Anything else?”

“He will know you name. Please don’t let that distract you.” Ladybug nodded. Hare made the floor move back to the portal. Holding her umbrella to the portal, drawing a circle, the portal opens wide. “Good luck Ladybug.”

When Ladybug walks through the portal, she’s freezing eminently. Looking around she seems to be on top of the Eiffel Tower, right where Hare had taken her from. Ladybug can see her breath. Walking to the edge,she only sees inky black water staring back at her. Using the tower as a ruler Ladybug can figure out that at least 3/4 of the tower is in water. About 850 ft above sea level.

“Oh kitty.” Ladybug whispers. Ladybug can see cars frozen to the top of the water. “I wish I had the ice or water power up on me.” Ladybug jumps down to one of the ice sheets.

Pulling out her Yo-Yo, maybe she can pick up Chat’s signal.

Searching… Searching… Searching… BEEP!

Location found. Agreste Mansion, 738 ft in the air.

Agreste Mansion? Why would Chat be there? Ladybug puts the Yo-yo away and begins her slow trip to the mansion. Walking and jumping from ice sheet to abandoned car. *CRASH*

“Ow…” Ladybug lays on her back. Her whole body aches. Pulling her self up. “My god.” Her legs are semi frozen. “Hare! Can you hear me! Whats happening!”

A voice seems to enter her head. “I’m not sure. Please hurry up, I think that you other self and you are trying to fuse.” Before Ladybug can ask anything else the voice is gone again. Fuse? She was dead here… Dear god she going to die!

Ladybug tries to stand up, it takes a minute but she manages. Slamming her legs on the ground, she able to get some of the ice off. She breaks into a sprint. No time for sight seeing!

Coming up to the mansion Ladybug can see a whole glacier where the mansion should be. Swallowing hard, Ladybug jumps onto the glacier.

“Huh?” The ice isn’t cold? Ladybug feels a warmth take over her body. The contrast is startling. Ladybug starts the climb to the top.

“But when I awoke, dear, I was mistaken…”

A song? Ladybug could faintly hear a voice singing. That has to be Chat.

“I’ll always love you and make you happy…”

Ladybug climbs faster. The closer to the top she gets a pain seems to grow in her heart.

“You told me once, dear, you really loved me. And no one else could come between…”

She was trying, trying so hard to not start crying. The pain was unbearable. Chat what has happened to you.

“In all my dreams, dear, you seem to leave me. When I awake my poor heart pains. So when you come back and make me happy. I'll forgive you dear, I'll take all the blame” Reaching the top, Ladybug can see a man. He sitting looking at the broken moon. When Ladybug takes a step forward the ice cracks.

“You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are gray. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away” The man is standing looking directly at Ladybug. Chat is older, his hair is wild and almost white? His suit instead of the iconic black and green is white and blue. But what makes Ladybug feel sick is… He’s covered in scars.

“My love! Have you come to see me again?” Chat voice is deeper and scratchy. His eye is wide but unfocused. “Love why do you look different?”

“Kitty…” Ladybug lets slip.

“Kitty? No. No. NOnononononononono! I’M YOUR PRINCE! REMEMBER!” He grabs at his hair. Hands starting to glow blue. Ladybug has just a moment to react before a blue explosion is thrown at her.

“Chat! PLEASE I’M REAL!” Ladybug yells as she lands.

“REAL! NOTHING IS REAL! YOU’RE JUST HERE TO MOCK ME!” Another explosion. Ladybug is just running around him. No wonder Hare told her not to fight him. ‘Think Ladybug, THINK!’

A loud explosion caught Ladybug off guard. The ice under started to splinter. Ladybug can’t get traction, her feet keeps slipping. Panicking she grabs her Yo-Yo, she throws it at Chat hoping to grab him. Then she falls.

Chat stops moving. The world goes still. Slowly Chat grabs the Yo-Yo. His eyes follows the string, across the ice, and over the edge. He rushes towards the edge.

“You’re… you’re real?” His voice is quiet, small. He almost sounds like a small child.

“Yes. Yes, I’m real Chat. I was brought here to help you. Please.” Ladybug was hanging of dear life. Chat begins pulling her up. Ladybug grabs his arm and pulls herself onto the flat ice. They both stand still for a moment.

Chat is towering over her. His hand cups her cheek. *THUD* Chat fall to his knees. He’s sobbing. “Alive, your alive… your alive, alive…”

“Chat where is the akuma?”

“-ell.” The answer was so quiet Ladybug couldn’t make it out. Her hand touches Chats shoulder. Looking up, Ladybug can see one of Chat’s eyes was scratched out. She pulls Chat into a hug. Letting her self cry with him.

After a few minutes she pulls away. She gently takes the bell from Chat’s chest. The bell is freezing in her hand.

“Chat could you please…”

“Of course, my lady.” Chat puts his hand over bell still in Ladybug’s hand, “cataclysm”

Instead of the bell normally dissolving, the bell froze over and shattered.

“Miraculous Ladybug.” Ladybug take to butterfly into her Yo-Yo and heal it. The wave of butterflies go out. Looking around… The world is still flooded, frozen, dead. Ladybug is grabbed from behind. Chat is holding her again.

“Please don’t leave me. I can’t be alone again.” Chat sobs, “Please Marinette. Please.”

Ladybug just puts her hand over Chat’s. “I’m sorry Chat. I’m not from this time. I can’t stay here. I…I won’t survive.” Chat grip tightens. He lets go, hands on Ladybug shoulder keeping her from turning. “Chat?”

“I don’t want you to see. I-I’m broken, ugly… I’m sorry… I love you.” His voice is soft and sad. In front of them a glowing portal appears.

“Ladybug it’s time.” Ladybug recognized the voice as Hare. A hand reaches out and touches Ladybug’s head.

Waking up Ladybug was on top of the Eiffel tower. Rubbing her eyes, she stretches. What happened? Last thing she remembers is dropping of Adrien’s gift and that person yelling.

“HELLO! My lady!”

Ladybug turns to see Chat landing on the tower. Her heart pains for a moment. “Hello Chat, what are you doing out and about?”

“Today is my birthday! Why wouldn’t I want to spend it with you?” Chat smiles.

“You should have told me yesterday, I could have gotten you something.” Ladybug stands up.

Chat seems to pause… “I’m not a big fan of my birthday, to be honest.” His voice is quiet. Ladybug just nods.

“Why don’t we go on patrol then?”

“Great idea! Lady’s first.” Chat half bows. Snorting, Ladybug takes a running start and jumps.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

“Huh? Chat your baton is beeping.”

AKUMA IN THE AREA! AKUMA IN THE AREA!

LOCATION AGRESTE MANSION.

Ladybug pulls out her Yo-Yo. Opening the akuma tracker. “My god, there’s almost half a dozen akumas! What happened!” Ladybug looks over at Chat in worry. Chat eyes seem wide.

“I have an idea. I passed by the Agreste Mansion and there seemed to be some kind of party being broken up. A lot of people seemed very angry.” Chat eyes are cast down.

“I passed by there earlier and everything seemed just fine.” Ladybug muttered. Chat didn’t respond. “Well HawkMoth been busy, lets get a move one!” Ladybug starts to head south towards Agreste Mansion.

Landing near the mansion, Chat and Ladybug can see that some of their classmates have been akumatized. Ladybug pulls out her Yo-Yo. Seems due to the shear number of akumas that they are much weaker then there solo counter parts.

“Luckily HawkMoth can’t empower over a few akumas to their fullest.” Ladybug smiles.

“Whats the plan?” Chat asks. Ladybug looks at the crowd. Currently all they can see are Lady Wifi, Reflekta, Evillustrator, Bubbler, and Princess Fragrance.

“Seems that there’s no huge akuma. We need to take out Lady Wifi and Evillustrator first. We might be able to use Bubbler to keep Princess at bay. Avoid Reflekta-” Ladybug is caught off buy a load explosion. Briefly Ladybug vision flickers to a flooded world. Blinking the world is back but a huge hole is where Adrien’s room used to be.

“Holy shit!” Chat yelps. “They have someone!”

“No plan grab the hostage!” Ladybug throws her Yo-Yo and throws her self towards the group of akuma.

Landing in the crowd, “I heard there was a party but this is a little to wild for me.” Chat joked.

“Leave Ladybug, we want this bastard!” Lady Wifi roars! Evillustrator has chains around this boy.

“I don’t know who he is but this is to much!” Ladybug throws her Yo-Yo at Evillustrator’s arm. Grabbing him and yanking. He face plants on the floor as Chat swings his baton at the feet of everyone. Sweeping them off their feet. Ladybug runs and grabs the boy, picking him up in a bridal carry. “Let’s go Chat.”

Ladybug and Chat runs to a more open area, “Who are you and what happened?” The boy doesn’t respond. Ladybug asks again this time in English. The boy eyes go wide.

“I can speak French just fine.” He responds with a click.

“Then answer.” Ladybug lands on the roof of Le Grand Paris.

“I’m Felix Graham de Vanily. Son of Amelie and Isaac Graham de Vanily.” Felix pushes Ladybug away. This voice… He’s the person Ladybug heard yelling. Getting a good look at Felix, he’s wearing dark clothes, and has bags under his eyes. He’s clearly still in mourning.

“Why are they after you Felix.” Chat asks… Is Chat glaring at Felix?

“How would I know! What even are those things!?” Felix pushes past Ladybug and Chat.

“You’re not from Paris are you. Those people are akumas. A villain named HawkMoth turns people in them. It seems that they think you did something.” Ladybug explains.

Felix stands stiff. He looks up towards the sky. Another vision flashes in Ladybug eyes. This time of a man alone looking towards the night sky.

Ladybug hearts sinks. As soon as it comes the world is back to normal. Ladybug walks over and puts her hand on Felix’s shoulder.

“You can trust us.”

“Today is my cousins birthday. I’m sure you’ve heard of him. Adrien Agreste. I-I… I hate him.” Felix croaks out. Ladybug could understand knowing what she knows.

“You-you hate him?” Chat speaks. Turning Ladybug can see his eyes. They look shocked.

“My dad just died!” Felix turns to face Chat and Ladybug, he almost crying. “ HE DIED 3 MONTHS AGO AND MY COUSIN COULDN’T BE BOTHERED TO SHOW UP! BUT NO I HAVE TO SHOW UP TO HIS STUPID BIRTHDAY PARTY!” Felix sobbed.

Ladybug and Chat were stunned silent. Felix cried into his arm. Ladybug went to touch him but stopped her self.

“What happened at that party Felix?”

“It was just suppose to be Adrien, his dad, me and my mom. But his dad had some work” He puts finger quotations around work,” So he left, my mom wasn’t feeling good. She gets migraines. So said she would head back to the hotel and rest and come back for dinner. It was just me and him. But then his stupid friends showed up. With gifts and food. My head started to hurt… I was so mad. I-I called his dad.” Felix admitted.

“That would do it.” Chat whispered. Before anything else could be said rockets shot at them. Blowing Felix and Ladybug off the building. Ladybug grabs Felix and lands hard.

She and Felix are surrounded by Reflekta and Princess Fragrance.

“Lucky Charm!” A hand mirror falls. With out a second notice Reflekta descend append them. Ladybug pushes Felix away, side sweeping Reflekta. Princess grabs Ladybug only for her to be body slammed to the floor by Felix. “Get out of here Felix!”

“No!” Ladybug can’t respond before Reflekta is back up. Reflekta hold her hand up to shoot a beam at Felix. Ladybug throws the mirror towards Felix, the beam bounces off the mirror and hits Princess Fragrance instead. Princess now stuck as another Reflekta can’t operate her fragrance gun.

Ladybug bum rushes Reflekta. Reflekta unable to block Ladybug attacks due to being distracted over Princess is quickly knocked out. Ladybug grabs Felix and shoots back up to the roof.

Throwing her Yo-Yo she hits Evillustrator in the back of the head. Chat is fighting Bubbler and Lady Wifi. Ladybug drops Felix off and runs towards Lady Wifi. Jumping over Lady Wifi, Ladybug raps her legs around her neck and send Lady Wifi flying forwards.

“How you been My Lady?” Chat asks avoiding one of Bubbler’s bubbles. Ladybug just grunts as she jumps on Bubbler’s back. She wraps one arm under Bubbler arm and the other around his neck. Bubbler began shooting he bubble gun wildly. Chat was about to kick Bubbler’s leg out when they heard a scream.

“Hey Bubble freak here I am!”

“Felix what are you doing!” Chat screams but in was to late Bubbler was able to shoot a bubble at Felix. Felix drops to the floor, making the bubble hit Lady Wifi instead.

Ladybug using the distraction to use her ladybug vision. Felix, Chat, Wifi phone.

“Felix! Chat! The akuma is in the phone!” Bubbler slams Ladybug into a wall. Felix grabs the phone and tosses it towards Chat. Bubbler shoots another bubble hitting Felix dead on. Chat almost misses the phone.

“Felix!”

“The phone you idiot!” Felix yells as he began to rise.

“Cataclysm!” Chat destroys the phone in his hand.

“Miraculous Ladybug!” Ladybugs spread out across the city. Nino was standing in front of Ladybug. Felix falls towards the ground as does Alya.

“Wha? Where are we?” Nino looks around.

“On top of Le Grand Paris.” Chat responds helping Felix up.

“YOU!” Alya yells. Chat puts himself in between Alya and Felix.

“ALYA! Stop!” Nino helps Ladybug off the ground.

“What he ruined Adrien’s party! Who does he think he is!”

“HE’S HIS FAMILY!” Chat yelled. “Felix is Adrien’s cousin. You all showed up announced to Adrien’s house, and you’re mad you got thrown out?!” Chat look pissed.

“Alya, Chat stop. Please understand that you can’t show up at someone’s house and just expect to be first priority. Felix, I feel as though I can’t reprimand you, but please talk to people when your hurting.” Ladybug says also putting her self between everyone.

“Chat can you help Felix back to the mansion.”

“Okay, later LB.”

“Juleka and Rose are a floor below. Please explain to them what happened. I need to leave.” Ladybug turns and jumps of the roof. She swings around Paris, till she feels safe enough to go home.

Marinette flops on her bed. Tikki starts to eat a cookie.

“Tikki?”

“Hm?”

“Who was in the right? Felix was grieving but everyone was acting entitled. My head hurts.” Marinette covers her eyes. ‘I’m sorry… I love you.’ Tears start to leak out.

“I don’t know Marinette. Sometimes both people can be wrong and both people can be in the right.” Tikki answers before going silent. What Marinette doesn’t know is that Tikki remembers. Tikki remembers the other timeline, and Hare.

Marinette showers and changes into new pajamas. Checking her phone one last time.

57 New Notifications! 40 Text messages from Nino. 16 calls missed from Nino. 1 Text message from Adrien.

Marinette opens the text from Adrien. A photo of him with the scarf, and a simple thank you.

Marinette gives a small smile. Closing her eyes Marinette drifts off to a dreamless sleep.

Oh yes, you thought as you hit send, an impish grin tugging at your lips.

Jaskier was in for it now.

Laying back on your bed as you waited for his reply you posed again, biting your finger seductively, bedroom eyes staring imploringly at the camera.

Dang, you thought as you appraised your work. That selfie stick was well worth the twenty bucks. I look fucking hot.

Jaskier was in the studio; the band standing around Andrzej at the mix board, listening through the last tracks they’d already recorded when his phone vibrated in his pocket. Thinking to check the message quick, figuring it was your routine goodnight text he nearly dropped his phone in surprise; his eyes going wide and throat dry at the sight of you -- naked and artfully posed on display for him.

Quickly pocketing his phone he swallowed, glancing around at his bandmates’ faces. Luckily they hadn’t seemed to notice anything was amiss. Slowly letting out the breath he’d been holding, Jaskier tried to focus on the task at hand, but his thoughts kept wandering back to your photo; your hooded eyes haunting him, just begging him to do all manner of salacious things to you.

One more look wouldn’t hurt.

Pulling his phone back out as discreetly as possible, Jaskier opened your text again, blue eyes tracing your body greedily, imagining all the things he’d like to do to you once he got his hands on you again. His thoughts were interrupted as a new alert popped up on the screen and a new picture took its place, even dirtier than the last.

[Y/N]: What, no response? Guess I’ll just have to try harder then.

The involuntary choke that left Jaskier’s throat caught the others’ attention and three sets of eyes turned to him.

“Jaskier, you alright?” Andrzej asked, swiveling his chair around to look at his front man.

“Uhhh, yep. Yep, just-- just peachy,” he forced out, pointedly ignoring Yennefer’s skeptical expression.

“Okay… well, good, because I think we should start on the next track.”

Back in the recording room Jaskier’s phone vibrated again and the quick glance he took as he switched his phone to silent had his blood rushing southward, making him wish he hadn’t chosen that particular moment to look.

“You sure you’re okay there, Jask?” Geralt asked, bemusement painting his usually stoic features.

“Yes,” Jaskier snapped, adjusting his guitar strap over his shoulder, “now would you please stop asking me that?”

Geralt grunted in response, shooting a look at Yennefer who merely frowned disdainfully.

Jaskier managed to make it through the majority of the song before Andrzej stopped them. “Jask, you’re making, uhm, how do I put this nicely…?”

“You’re fucking up a lot,” Geralt supplied, his lips twitching as if he wanted to grin.

“Yeah well, let’s see you play while this distracted,” Jaskier grumbled under his breath, the discomfort in his jeans becoming rather unbearable, though he was thankful his guitar hid his growing erection. “Actually, I uh, I’ll be right back. I need to --”

Jaskier never actually finished that thought as he set down his guitar and strode quickly from the room, making a b-line for the bathroom, leaving Yennefer looking disgusted and Geralt barking a laugh.

“I hope you’re happy with yourself,” Jaskier typed as soon as he’d latched the door behind him. “You’ve thoroughly distracted me to the point I have a little problem to take care of.”

Unbuttoning his pants he sighed as he gripped his length, giving it a couple strokes before his phone buzzed again.

[Y/N]: Oops, too bad I can’t help you take care of that ;p

Growling under his breath he quickly typed a reply.

“Just you wait til I get my hands on you again. You’ve been a very naughty girl [Y/N].”

Closing his eyes and keeping your picture firmly in his mind he quickly finished, biting back a groan as he came.

Checking his phone once more after cleaning himself up he snorted softly at your reply.

[Y/N]: Ooooh, can’t wait. I love you.

“I love you too, you little miscreant. Sweet dreams x”

Back in the recording room, Jaskier picked up his guitar, studiously ignoring Geralt’s amused gaze.

“Are you good to go now Jaskier?” Andrzej asked dryly through the intercom; clearly, thankfully unaware of what he’d had to run to the restroom for, though the same couldn’t be said of his bandmates.

“Yep, all good now.”

Ieyasu Tokugawa - I Need an Apothecary

You stumble through the hallways, sake bottle in hand, until you reach the door of the sassiest warlord. Not bothering to knock before entering, you push the door open and trip over the edge of the mat. This sends you flying through the threshold of the door until you land face first on the ground.

“Ow..” you whine, rubbing your nose.

Ieyasu looks up at you with a bored expression. “What are you doing here?”

“Aren’t you going to help me up?”

“You managed to get there yourself. You can get up yourself.” His voice is cold as usual, but you notice a glint in his eyes… almost as if he is challenging you to get up. It might be the alcohol getting to your brain, but he seems to be anything. When he sees you looking so intently at him, Ieyasu covers his mouth with his hand.

“Fine,” you snuff as you sit up. Crossing your legs underneath you, you take another swig of the sake before offering it to the warlord.

Ieyasu raises an eyebrow and takes the bottle from you, but he does not drink. Instead, he turns the bottle upside down and empties the contents into the bowl of ink that sits on the table. The clear liquid swirls around with the black, making a rather strange looking concoction. When you process what he has done, you scramble forward and snatch the bottle back from him. Sadly, there no longer is sake inside of it.

“Why would you do that?!” you screech. “That was my feel-better-sake!”

“Look at yourself. You’ve had more than enough. You are beyond drunk. And you’re a lighter weight than Masamune when it comes to drinking.”

“I take offense to that.”

Ieyasu shrugs. “Do what you will.”

You tap you finger against your lips, only to find that they are numb from drinking so much. As you think, you get a wonderful idea. “So… I can do whatever I want?” you inquire. “As in, anything?”

When Ieyasu looks up from his papers, he is surprised to see you have crawled across the room and are sitting directly next to him. You are so close to him that he can feel the warmth of the alcohol on your breath. Ieyasu swallows and leans back slightly. “As long as you don’t hurt yourself.”

Licking your lips, you close the little distance that remained between you and Ieyasu. Your nose brushes against his jaw, and Ieyasu shivers. “If you continue, you will hurt yourself,” he warns as his muscles tense.

“Aw, but Ieyasu,” you coo, your fingers hooking under his chin, “but I need an apothecary. Won’t you help me?”

“And why do you need an apothecary?” Ieyasu tries to control himself, but your aura is intoxicating. You have yet to kiss him, but Ieyasu feels like he has consumed just as much alcohol as you. “You are not ill and nor are you injured.”

“Oh, but I am ill.”

Ieyasu takes your hand and forces it back into your lap. You immediately sling it over his shoulder, your fingers curling in his hair.

“My heart hurts,” you explain. “It aches every time I see you across the room. I don’t understand why because you are so sour. All the time, you comment on how poorly I do something. If I really wanted, I could have gone to Nobunaga. He would have accepted me without thinking about it twice. But you-”

“Me?”

You inhale slowly and press a kiss to his lips. Although you might have had intentions to kiss him only once, Ieyasu’s lips are irresistibly soft. So after leaning back slightly, you dive again, this time, hungrier to taste him more. Just as your lips are going to touch his again, Ieyasu presses a finger to you. “You are drunk.”

“So? If anything, it makes me more bold.”

Ieyasu clicks his tongue. “Bold, or stupid?”

“Ieyasu.”

He looks up when you call his name.

“I’m serious.” Your hand creeps up his leg. “I need you.”

Ieyasu swallows hard and reluctantly extends his hand towards you. “Come here.”

Your eyes go wide with anticipation, so you quickly do as you are told. Before you have a chance to say anything, Ieyasu kisses you – gently, but deeply as well. His tongue works its way into your mouth, and you cannot help but moan into the kiss. He lowers you down to the matted floor, your hair fanning out around your head like a halo.

You grasp his hand and place it over your left breast. “See? My heart is beating so fast. There is something wrong with it.”

Ieyasu pulls the edge of your haori down, exposing your breasts, but instead kisses the skin above your mound – directly above your heart. “Perhaps I have a cure for you then…” he whispers as he starts to untie the slash of your kimono.

Mitsuhide Akechi - Secret Sake Stash

Mitsuhide enters his room after a long day of traveling the city. He will never admit it, but the work he does tends to tire him out a lot, and he dearly wishes to drink some good sake before going to sleep. However, when he steps past the threshold of his room, he notices that something is off.

He draws his sword and pads around. Something rustles in the darkness, and he reacts immediately, point the blade at the intruder’s neck.

“Mitsuhide! You’re finally home!”

The warlord recognizes your voice immediately. “Little mouse?”

“I–hic–came looking for you, but you weren’t here… and I accidentally found your sake.”

vMitsuhide sheaths his sword and goes to light a torch. Now, with the room basking in a golden glow, Mitsuhide turns around to look at you. He cannot help but laugh – you are sprawled over his futon, bottle of sake nuzzled against you like a pillow, and your clothes are disheveled, suggesting that you have occupied that spot for quite a while. “Little mouse, what have you done?”

“Well, I came to talk to you about something because… truth be told… I’ve been having a rough day. But you weren’t here!”

“I was doing work for Lord Nobunaga.”

You scowl. “Of course you were.”

“Why do you say that with such distaste, little mouse?” Mitsuhide reaches for the sake, but you swat his hands away.

“You never pay attention to me like you used to.”

He laughs and ruffles your hair. “You miss me? Is that why you came here?

“No…” you reply, but the blush on your cheeks betrays you. “Okay, well, more like I miss the time we spent together. You don’t treat me like a dainty flower – like the others. You know that I can hold my own against things. But when you’re busy, Hideyoshi won’t let me practice archery. And he’s too busy to babysit me.” Crossing your arms over your chest, your mouth contorts into an unhappy frown.

Mitsuhide moves slowly, as if he does not want to scare you, and he scoops you up in his arms. The bottle falls from your grip, but you pay little attention to it. Instead, you instinctively tuck your head into the crook of his neck. Inhaling his scent, you are transported back to different times – namely when Mitsuhide would take you for long walks in the forest near the castle. He smells of burnt wood and slightly of perspiration.

Suddenly, you are tempted to lick his collarbone, but you bite your lip to resist the urge. Instead, you wrap your arms around his neck and cling onto him (in case he has any thoughts about leaving you.)

“Little mouse?”

“Yeah?”

“Did you really drink all of my sake?”

You lean back and look at the empty bottle. “Whoops.. Haha…”

“You’re going to have a nasty headache tomorrow. I’m surprised that you are still awake.”

“I can hold my liquor!”

Mitsuhide raises an eyebrow. “Are you sure about that?”

“Don’t tease me. Of course I can.”

He tucks a hand over your leg, pulling you back into his chest. Now, your shoulder blades rub against his muscular torso. Mitsuhide rests his chin on your shoulder. “But teasing you is fun~”

You try and squirm out of his grip, but he is too strong and the alcohol retards your motions.

“I wonder…” he coos, tipping your face back towards him.

“Wha-”

But the warlord cuts you off by kissing you swiftly. His tongue invades your mouth, and he only pulls back when the both of you are out of breath. “I was right.”

You wipe your mouth with a sleeve and try to hide your blushing face. “About what?!”

“You taste like sake.” Mitsuhide lowers his voice. “And it’s delicious.”

“Mitsuhide…”

“Let me guess, you came here with less than pure intentions, no?”

The red darkens and spreads to your ears. “Maybe.”

“But instead, you got drunk.”

“Maybe..” you repeat sheepishly.

When his hand slips into the fold of your kimono, you squeak and look into Mitsuhide’s golden eyes. “Tell me, little mouse, do you still want this?”

Your heart flutters as Mitsuhide’s fingers brush over your nipples. “Y-Yes–”

“Then consider this punishment for drinking my secret sake stash-”

Sasuke Sarutobi - A Ninja Sleepover

When Sasuke wanders into town, he does not expect to find you sitting on a barstool, demanding to be served alcohol. The waiter insists that he does not have any more sake, but you are not accepting his words.

However, when you see Sasuke from the corner of your eye, you light up. “Sasuke! Come help me. There is nooo way this man has run out of drinks. He’s hiding it from me-” Your words slur together, making Sasuke chuckle under his breath. “Sasukeeeee,” you whine.

Sasuke sighs and places a few gold coins in the man’s hand. “I’m sorry, she won’t bother you more,” he promises as his hands slip under your arms. The ninja drags you out of the bar and starts walking you back towards the castle.

“How did you even get out?”

You wave a hand. “I busted out of there like you-”

“Like me?” “Yes!” You lift your arm and cover your face with the sleeve of your kimono. “Like a ninja.”

“Well, considering no one saw you slip out, you aren’t a bad ninja…”

You smirk at this comment. “Damn right I am.”

Sasuke hoists you up bridal style – you are dragging your weight and it is easier for him to carry you like this. “But even ninjas have to sleep, alright? I will take you to your room.”

If you could, you would have protested, but your head lulls against his chest and you grip onto his clothes. You drift into a light sleep until Sasuke sets you down on your futon. Your arms are still latched around his neck, so he tries to tug on your wrists to release you. Instead, Sasuke loses his balance and falls directly on you.

Sasuke immediately sits up, but you cup his face to keep him from moving. “Can we have a ninja sleepover?”

“A what?”

You whine and kick the blanket off. “Stay with me please. I’m lonely.”

He sits back and unwraps the scarf from around his neck. “Lonely?”

Curling up, you put your arms around your knees. “I miss home. You said that we could go back after three months, but… I’m scared.” “Why are you scared?” He scoots closer to you.

“What if it doesn’t work? Or what if we get thrown back in time again? What happened to my life there… it’s all just overwhelming, and if I think too much about it, I panic.”

His hand lands on your back and he rubs you soothingly. “We will find a way, do not worry.” You look up at Sasuke with big eyes. “Promise?”

“Of course.”

Content with his response, you lean against him. The cloud of sake has slowly faded from your mind, allowing you to think more clearly. “Still, please stay with me.”

“I can stay.”

He’s looking out of the window, up at the moon.

“No– I mean…” but you trail off, deciding you should stay quiet. Your heart falls to the pit of your stomach. Every time you found yourself in trouble – whether it was with Kenshin or someone else – Sasuke always came to your rescue, even if it means that he would have to put his job or life on the line for you. Furthermore, he always comforts you when you get homesick.

Sasuke tucks a few stray strands of hair behind your ear. His fingers linger on your jaw, and he pulls you close for a kiss. You taste like sake and dumplings, and Sasuke snakes his hand around your waist, bringing you into his lap. His touch is soft and calming, steadying your heart and washing away any worries you might have had about getting home.

When he leans back, you grip his shirt and pull him back for another kiss. This one is hungrier than the first one, and his hands climb up the side of your body. He envelops you in his warmth, and you lean down, pulling him on top of you once more.

No more words need to be exchanged – instead, the two of you continue to kiss and undress yourselves slowly. It might be the sake coaxing you to think such dirty things, but you pushed the thoughts out of your mind and trail kisses down his torso.

You hear his glasses clink against the ground before his hand separates your legs.

For a sleepover, you doubt that you will be getting much sleep.

“You overacted.”

“What were we supposed to do?! The door was locked, all I did was explode the lock!”

“You alerted them to our position and almost cost us the mission.”

“I’m sorry but did you see any other way of getting in?”

“We could have climbed the vents.”

You pause your stitching as you glare at Damian. “I’m not like you. I can’t climb through the vents.”

Damian realises his mistake too late and regrets it instantly, guilt striking through his heart. Damian looks at you, his emerald eyes shining with remorse. “I’m sorry beloved, I didn’t mean to upset you.”

You huff out a sigh through your nose and continue stitching Damian with care. “It’s fine. You’re right, I should’ve done something else there then explode it. Then you wouldn’t have gotten hurt.”

“My wound is not your fault. We were ambushed with more people then we could handle.

“People that wouldn’t have been there if it weren’t for me.” You retaliate as you cut away the thread and put the stitching materials down.

Damian’s hands stop yours from moving and prompts you to look at him.

He stares at you with love and determination, something that makes your heart flutter in response.

“Yes, what you did was excessive, but your actions were not the cause of my harm.” Damian’s hand comes up to cup your cheek. “Do you understand that?” You nod as his thumb strokes your cheek. “Can you repeat what I said?”

You stare at him, a small smile playing on your lips. “My actions were not the cause of your harm.”

Damian stands from his chair, leaning down to place a kiss on your lips, wafting waves of comfort and reassurance through you.

“If you clean up, I’ll have a hot cup of cocoa ready for you and we can catch-up on that show you like.”

You smile and wrap your arms around his waist in a hug. “Sounds like a plan.”

With a quick hug in return and a kiss on the forehead, Damian leaves towards the kitchen. He grabs two cups from the cupboard and flicks on the kettle and milk frother. He then scoops in some cocoa and puts in some marshmallows.

By the time he pours milk in each cup, he hears your voice call out from the living room.

“Hey Dami?”

“Yes beloved?” He picks up the two steaming cups of cocoa and heads towards the living room.

“You know that ice trap I lost a few days ago?”

Damian walks in the room and immediately spots you by a table of books and medical supplies in your arms. As he peers down, he notices your foot covered in ice. He looks back up at you with one brow raised

“I found it.”

Damian lets out an airy chuckle as he places the two cups of cocoa on the coffee table. “At least I made the hot cocoa.”

You laugh as Damian walks over to you. “I think the antidote is on the table behind me.”

Sure enough, Damian finds a small glass tube filled with a pastel red liquid. He kneels down beside you and opens the tube. As he pours the liquid onto your foot, the ice sizzles and slowly turns to a gel substance and begins to pool on the floor. A rush of warmth and a tingle of numbness emits from your now freed foot.

Damian stands up after emptying the tube, and places a kiss on your lips. “I’ll clean up here. Once you put those away go and sit on the couch. I’ll meet you there.”

With a gracious smile, you reply. “Thank you Damian.”

As you disappear into the hallway, Damian begins scooping up the gel. After mentally praising the gel’s consistency, put gathers up the gel in one hand and grabs the now paper ice trap before standing and heading into the kitchen.

Once discarding the gel, he walks back unto the living room and smiles as he see you on the couch with your cup in hand.

He hastily makes his way over there, grabbing his own cup and taking his seat next to you.

You waster no time in cuddling into him, wrapping one arm around his waist whilst still holding your cup in the other.

Damian wraps his own free arm around you and kisses your forehead.

“I love you, beloved.”

“I love you, Dami.”

The lateness of the hour risked her exposure to the knights keeping guard, but this was a matter that could not be discussed in the light of day. On her person, Morgana carried a sword in its sheath strapped on her back, clothes to last a week’s duration, and some scraps she had collected from unfinished breakfasts and the kitchens. If this were to go badly, she was prepared to leave Camelot forever.

She rapped twice on the door, anxious for a response. To her simultaneous delight and dismay, she was answered.

“Morgana? Is everything alright?” Gwen looked confused but not from having been roused from sleep. It was clear she had been awake.

“Yes, Gwen,” she was quick to assure. “I need to speak with you about a...private matter. Something that cannot be disclosed within the castle walls.”

“Come in.”

Morgana was shown into Gwen’s abode, a quaint one-room living space with a bed, two chairs, a table and assorted essentials like food, water jugs, and cloth for sewing. It was still remarkable to Morgana that Gwen still chose to live here after her father’s passing. Perhaps it reminded the girl of the man who she lost.

Gwen offered Morgana one of the chairs, which she took just as the other girl seated herself on the opposite side. Dark lines showed underneath her eyes even on her beautifully tan skin.

“Are you not sleeping alright, Gwen?”

“I…” Gwen started and abruptly stopped herself. She cast a meaningful look downward, where Morgana’s eyes couldn’t follow. “Well I suppose there’s no point in lying. It’s only a recent thing. It’s nothing you need worry about.”

“If you insist,” Morgana replied, aware her treading on Gwen’s boundaries was how they got here in the first.

“What I am about to tell you is something I’ve never confided to anyone else. Truly, I’m not sure what people would make of it if they discovered the truth. If they would even believe me,” she rambled, doing like Gwen and avoiding direct eye contact. Staring her in the face and telling her the depth of her infatuation, of her disease, Morgana couldn’t bear to see the confusion shift to disgust.

“Morgana!” With that, her head snapped upward against her own will. “Please, I would never betray your trust like that. Anything you tell me here, right now, stays within this room. I swear to you, on my very life.”

“Very well.” An uncomfortable silence passed between them as Morgana sought how to phrase her confession, now very dumbstruck at the idea of actually having to speak it into reality. Truthfully, she should have rehearsed it through at least once. “Have you ever read the work of the only known female Greek artist, Sappho?”

Gwen’s earnestness visibly bled into outright bewilderment in less than a second. “I am afraid I can’t say I have. I have not read many books, Morgana.”

“I understand. I shall read to you...an excerpt to explain the condition I find myself in, better than I can explain it to you in my own words. The Poetess refers to the Greek goddess Aphrodite, the goddess of love—of romantic love—in the verse:

Sweet mother, I cannot weave—slender Aphrodite...slen-slenderr Aph-phro-dite.” She began to stutter over the words, barely certain if she could reach the phrase’s condemning conclusion. Tears welled in her eyes, and she blinked the embarrassing droplets away, away else she fall into hysteria.

With a great look of concern, her maid reached across the table and took Morgana’s hands into her own.

“What is it, Morgana? Just tell me,” she prodded gently.

It was too much, too much kindness than Morgana ever deserved, especially when Gwen didn’t know of her incurable vices, of how she had been corrupted without meaning to be.

“Has overcome me with longing for a girl!”

The verse was spat out rather than languidly admitted and was punctuated by a window shattering. Startled, Morgana and Gwen both turned to look for the source, finding shards of the singular window in the house flung about the room. A distant sensation of something dripping on her face came to her. She broached her fingers to her cheek and upon withdrawing them her fingers were stained red, red as her anger when that window blew out, fear disguised as anger when those words left her lips.

“Morgana...your eyes,” Gwen whispered, voice quivering in unconcealed terror.

Summary: Sam helps the reader study for a test

A/N: I don’t own supernatural or any of the gifs. Credits to whoever made them.

“Urghhh… ” You groan, throwing down your pen in frustration. “I can’t do this. I can’t! There’s no way I’ll get all this done by tomorrow!” You bury your face into your palms and massage your temples gently. Your brain in tied up in knots from all the studying for your history exam tomorrow.

Sam looks up at you from his laptop, his brows furrowed. “What’s wrong kiddo?”

“I can’t do it Sammy. There’s just too much to get done by tomorrow. And I’m already starting to forget everything I’ve studied till now! What am I going to do?” you whine.

“What? But you love History.” Sam states. He’s surprised to see you like this. History has always been one of your favorite subjects.

“I knowww… ” You cry. “But I don’t think I can finish studying everything for tomorrow’s test. There’s just too much.”

You bang your head into the book in front of you. There’s no way you can finish everything in time for tomorrow. You start freaking out internally.

Sam shuts his laptop and walks up to you. “Alright. We’re going to fix this. I’ll help you study. Come on!”

He picks up your books scattered around the table and starts organizing them. “Show me what all you’ve done. We’ll split the rest. Then, I can explain the stuff that I’ve read.

“Sammy, I don’t want to trouble you.”

“Y/N, I want to help you study. And, I get to learn stuff too! So… Why not?” he asks, jovially.

You shake your head at his enthusiasm to study. Though, mentally you’re thankful that he’s there to help you.

He picks up a book and starts reading it. Every now and then, he pauses to mark out important lines and makes notes on the side. He gets up after a while and brings two plates of salad containing greens, eggs and nuts.

“Y/N, time for a break. Here… eat!” he says, pushing a plate towards you.

You put down your book and wrinkle your nose at the amount of greens on the plate. It’s not that you enjoy only unhealthy, rich food like Dean but a kale salad is definitely not something you’re a fan of.

“Salad?” you ask, skeptically. “Really Sam?”

You pick up a piece of kale with the fork and drop it, making a face.

“Yes. Salad! Salads are really good for you. Kale and eggs are excellent brain boosters. It’s exactly what you need right now.”

You frown and pull the plate closer. You stuff some kale into your mouth, cringing at the taste. As you chew, you bury your head into the book in front of you.

“Hey! No, no, no… none of that!”

You look up in confusion, “What?”

“No reading while eating. Take a break. Eat. Then read.” he insists.

You don't have the energy to argue. You push the book aside and continue to eat, grimacing every now and then.

“Come on! It's not that bad.” Sam says, indignantly.

You deadpan. “It’s kale Sam. Kale! Nobody likes Kale!”

Sam shrugs and stuffs his mouth with some salad, just to annoy you. Maybe Crowley’s right; you do have a giant moose for a brother. Picturing Sam as a moose, you let out a chuckle.

“What?” Sam asks, confused.

“Nothing. I just realized something” You say, casually nibbling on some broccoli.

“What did you realize?”

“Crowley has a smart imagination.” You chortle.

“Huh?” he asks, with a bewildered expression. Sam clearly thinks that studying has messed with your head.

“Nothing. Let’s just eat”

Once you're done, he takes the plates away and you get back to studying.

You sit and study continuously for the next few hours. Sam explains the parts of history he knows well, to you. He makes flashcards with important dates on them. He then helps you revise, going through every topic, quizzing you and correcting you if you make a mistake. Finally, he puts down the huge textbook at looks at the time. Its 1 am.

“Alright. You’re good to go for tomorrow. Get some sleep now” he says, rubbing his tired eyes.

“Maybe I could revise once more… ” You start.

“Revise in the morning. You really need some sleep sweetheart. I’ll wake you around 6. You can revise then. Don't worry about tomorrow. Just let your mind rest.” he says firmly.

“Okay fine. Good night Sammy. Thank you for helping me”, you lean down to peck him on the cheek.

“Good night sweetheart.”

It also developed its FM radio division, DWBR 104.3 becomes FM1 while 87.5, the last vacant frequency on Metro Manila FM launched FM1. -Cathedral of Praise launched its own radio station DZBR 531 Bible Radio broadcasting from the Angel One tower in Tanauan, Batangas -Light TV becomes the first TV station in the country to shut down its analog broadcast and migrating into full-digital. -Yes! This specific question came to me today: “Bersa Thunder 380 or Taurus Curve 380 for a first pistol?”

This is a question I have been wanting to be asked, so I am going to do a quick write up. I did not have a Bersa on hand, so I grabbed the Walther PPK/s I have nearby, since the Bersa Thunder is essentially a more modern take on the Walther PPK design. In short, I would recommend the Bersa Thunder for a first pistol, but at the same time I still recommend the Taurus Curve; however, there are qualifiers I must discuss.

Let us begin: Bersa Thunder and the Walther PP design.

The Bersa is essentially a modern take on the Walther PPK, with a few improvements. It is a straight blowback pistol, which I consider to be very notable, and I will come to that later. Moving along, the Bersa Thunder has a nice variety of pistol controls, such as a manual safety and decocker, plus, it has a single action/ double action set up with an exposed hammer allowing you to place the gun in single action mode for clean trigger pull. With that said, there are Bersa Thunder models with a bobbed hammer that are double action only, but this will be obvious when purchasing one, and is not the standard setup.

The Bersa Thunder has several updates that are great additions to the Walther Polizeipistole/Police Pistole design. One big update is the slide release lever, which allows the slide to be released without racking the slide or removing the magazine. Also, the Bersa has a fixed trigger guard, as most modern pistols do. However, the old Walther design does not. The PP design is disassembled by pulling the trigger guard down, but the Bersa has uses a mechanism on the side. The Bersa is also is more ergonomic than the older pistols and the Curve. Personally, I like the trigger reset on the Bersa. I will abstain from commenting on the double action trigger pull, as such can be changed with hammer springs.

On most Bersa Thunders, you can upgrade the sights, as the sights are removable using the dovetail design. Again, there are some Thunders with low profile sights that are part of the slide (I would recommend buying a Thunder model with removable sights, but I’m not going to discredit the others).

PP design & Straight Blowback: The Bersa Thunder is unmistakably similar to the Walther PPK, which is the short version of the Walther PP (police pistol). There is not much difference in size between the PP and PPK, but the PPK is shorter, as you can see in this picture. (The black/blue pistol is a FEG PA63, an almost identical variant of the PP that originates from Hungary).

The PP and PPK are both great for conceal carry. They are sleek, relatively small (but large enough to hold well) and generally comfortable to carry and shoot.

These pistols are straight blowback, a design which generally implies the barrel is fixed to the frame. Although I my favorite pistols are Heckler & Koch USPs, I crave the idea of straight blowback pistols. As opposed to pistols with a tilting and locking barrel, the fixed barrel does not require a guid rod, which allows the barrel to sit lower. Moreover, the lower the barrel, the easier it is for energy to be transferred up your forearm instead of your wrist.

Bersa Recap: The Bersa is affordable, able to be accessorized, great for conceal carry, and it is a modern take on a historic pistol design (yes, I consider the Walther PP to be historically significant).

Now, we move on to the Taurus Curve.

Ah yes, the Taurus Curve. Its new, futuristic and weird. It doesn’t have typical sights, and you can’t purchase extra mags for it. All of its controls are either weird or non existent. It is made by Taurus, who has notoriously bad quality control. Oh yes, It is Curved.

Notwithstanding all of this, would I recommend the Curve? Yes.

Many will say the Curve is for the inexperienced shooter, or for someone who wants to buy a gun but will never shoot it. Honestly, I do not know how anyone could construct either of those arguments with intellectual honesty. With that said, I would like to articulate that the Curve is for individuals skilled and knowledgeable with firearms who need something for deep carry.

The Curve is curved! It feels strange in your right hand, but interesting and enjoyable. It doesn’t feel so weird in your left hand, which is how I shoot it. I shoot left handed and wear the curve on my left backside, with the slide next to my spine. It comes out quickly and conveniently. Many are upset that there is not a “left handed Curve,” but in all honestly the “right handed” shape works great for how I like to conceal carry.

To keep the pistol slim, the slide is anything but tall on the Curve, which can make it difficult for some people to pull the slide back. However, the slide has a great (and aesthetically pleasing) set of serrations that prove great traction for operation. It is worth noting, you cannot feel the serrations while wearing the curve.

What is the deal Taurus, can’t you get a hold on Quality Control? If you are having failure to feed or failure to eject with the Curve, I can almost guarantee the issue is with the extractor claw. There is a real chance you will need to polish and slightly reshape the extractor to get the curve to operate well with all ammunitions. This is easy enough and quick to fix, but not if you lack knowledge and skill in firearm care. Again, this is consistent with my argument that the Curve is fort those skilled with firearms. (Seriously Taurus, I can send you the design improvements needed on this one, it would take minimal effort to fix all of this QC stuff with the extractor).

Taurus Curve sights and sight picture: Is Curve a range gun? Meh. It can be. If you are skilled and need to show out, you annihilate targets with the curve all day long. But, it is not as fun as a USP Match by any means. If you scroll through our blog, you can see videos/gifs of us putting entire magazines in targets that are 25-50 yards away. Mind you, this was before we made custom sights for the curve. It has plenty barrel to stabilize a round of 380 acp. The issue comes with how the operator can interact with the controls of the firearm, which are very minimal on the Curve. It does have a physical sight system, made up of lines and a loaded chamber indicator, so it is anything but conventional. The information conveyed by the Curve’s natural sight system is very fine, which in this context means meticulous, thin, and infinitesimally easy to overlook. Again, with the information conveyed being so difficult to detect, this is an item for the skilled operator who intimately understands the abstract forms firearm operation. The sight picture information is certainly there, but it is anything but overwhelmingly. Only those skilled at shooting will excel with the Curve.

Taurus did incorporate into the frame the opportunity for a laser and light (made by Laserlyte). But not all Curves come with the Laserlyte installed, due to an issue with supply and demand. Furthermore, the button to turn on the Laserlyte module is not the most intuitive thing in the world. So if you need a laser to tell you were to shoot, you have that option with the Curve.

The Taurus Curve is double action only, with a shrouded hammer hidden away in its tiny slide. Trigger pull is long but consistent, and you can feel when you are about to release the hammer. Although it shares a few parts with the Taurus TCP 738 (such as the mag frame which can be used to make extra mags if you have the ability to do such) it does not have a slide release, or a conventional magazine release as does the TCP 738. It will lock the slide back after the last round, but you have to manually rack the slide to get moving with a second magazine (which is included in all Curves purchased). The Curve magazine actually has a clip to hold it in. Instead of a more conventional mag release near the trigger guard (or even on the heel), the Curve has a place on the magazine that you push to release the clip-lever mechanism. I would have not gone this route had I designed the Curve, but it correlates with the trigger design and smooth profile. The trigger has no dead space behind it, ensuring nothing can get behind the trigger if it is in a bag without its trigger guard. The trigger wraps around the magazine when pulled (inside the frame).

The curve has no safety, but instead a cover that pops off when you pull it out. This serves a few purposes. It ensures the trigger is covered when holstered, but it will pop off when you pull the gun out, as long as you have tied the string to a belt loop…or something else. It works as a safety, but also keeps debris away from the Laserlyte button. The cover is smooth and intuitive. I thought I would never use it, but I actually like it. It works well and pops off only when the firearm is pulled in a certain direction, which is the same direction you naturally pull it when getting ready to fire.

The Curve holsters itself. The curve does its own thing, which is what makes it great. It has a belt clip from the factory, which is awesome. Even though the pistol is thicker than some other small pistols, it is actually thinner when on you. It does not require a holster, and the curved frame wraps around you and is so very comfortable to wear in all clothes. With the belt clip and trigger cover, the curve is so smooth that you can easily forget it is there. I wear the curve all the time, and no one ever has a clue it is there. Even the people who know I am carrying have a hard time detecting it, and I am a slim 25 year old who wears clothes that actually fit.

The Curve uses a locking/unlocking design. The barrel is not fixed on the Curve, as it is on the Bersa Thunder. Instead, it uses the same locking design found on most modern pistols. This is fine, but it does slightly raise the barrel. Nonetheless the curve has a low enough profile that the energy still moves down your forearm well.

Taurus Curve Recap: This is an awesome and futuristic pistol, that I would recommend to those who understand the intricacies of firearms. It has some notable QC issues out of the box, as well as accessorizing limitations. But, out of all of the firearms on the market. I cannot find one that is more concealable. I cannot find one that can execute the task of deep carry with such effectiveness. Once you get past its issues, and polish it up, it works well and wears well. Moreover, if you can make your own parts, you can put sights on it and make as many mags as you want. I wish Taurus would come out with an updated version that has a few improvements (cough cough extractor claw QC and traditional magazine release). With all that said, It truly is the future of conceal carry, and I hope there are more pistols that come out that follow its form. The Curve is the ultimate in conceal carry if you want a truly concealed firearm, and I say that as someone who is experienced with the G42, G27, PPK, KelTec 3-AT, Ruger LCP, NAA mini revolvers, and a whole variety of other small pistols. These other pistols may be great, but I would recommend the Curve to skilled shooters because I cannot find another pistol that is so effective at being concealed, not to mention being comfortable and easy to access while being concealed.

TLDR: Buy yourself a Bersa Thunder if you want a more modern PPK, as it is a versatile firearm. Buy yourself a Taurus Curve if you want the ultimate in concealability, and are capable of tweaking it.

If you don’t like either, do have the social skills to keep it to yourself, as this is intended as a constructive writeup. I own some very expensive toys, but I still don’t trash casual stuff. Social skills people.

The Moscow Zoo is home to more than 8,000 animals and nearly 1,000 different species. This zoo is also one of the oldest zoos in the world, as it opened way back in 1864.

Visiting the Moscow Zoo is a lovely way to spend a day in the heart of Moscow, Russia! This post will be explaining how to get to the zoo, the cost of the tickets, the best time to visit, the animals you can see, your food options for the day and accommodation suggestions.

I’m also happy to answer any questions anyone has about visiting the Moscow Zoo in the comments section at the end of the post. Enjoy!

Getting to the Moscow Zoo

The easiest way to get to the Moscow Zoo is by Metro. The metro station Krasnopresnenskaya is directly across the street from the zoo, and it’s only a couple of minutes walking from the from metro station Barrikadnaya.

Another option is to take a taxi using the Gett or Yandex Taxi app. (Uber does not work in Moscow.)

Or, depending on where your hotel is, you can walk! Moscow is a lovely city to walk around and enjoy. Before we moved into our apartment in Moscow, we were staying at the Marriott Hotel Novy Arbat – which is about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel to the zoo. (We really liked this hotel as well!)

Where to Buy Tickets to the Moscow Zoo

When we visited, we simply purchased the ticket at the entrance to the zoo. We visited on a Saturday afternoon during summer and the line was not terribly long. However, after speaking with other locals, it sounds this may have been luck. Normally the lines to get tickets can be very long!

You do have the option to purchase the tickets online ahead of time via the Moscow Zoo’s website. Please note, the tickets are only available in the Russian section of the website (not the English version). Click here for the Moscow Zoo website.

Best Time to Visit the Moscow Zoo

When we had visited the zoo it was a nice Saturday afternoon in the summer. Yes, there were many people, but the zoo spans over 50 acres! So, it never felt overly crowded.

We spent around 3-4 hours at the zoo, and saw many of the exhibits. We could have easily have spent more time, though!

That being said, if you go during the week there will be far fewer people here. But please be aware that the zoo is closed on Mondays!

During the summer months, the zoo is open from 10 am – 9 pm. However, it is always best to check the Moscow Zoo website for their current hours, as they do change, especially given the recent events in the world. Click here for the Moscow Zoo website.

Judging by the lines to enter the zoo in the mornings (we would use the Krasnopresnenskaya metro station frequently), it does not seem that it is a good idea to get there are right as the zoo opens (at least on weekends). I would wait until 10:30 or 11 before going (unless you purchased your ticket online).

The Animals at the Moscow Zoo!

The highlight for me was watching the orangutans – specifically the baby orangutan!! (Don’t worry, another baby was just born on Christmas of 2019, so there will be another itty bitty orangutan to watch the summer of 2020!)

I seriously took a hundred photos of this little guy, and I think we sat here for a full hour just watching the orangutans. Below, are 4 more photos from the 100 I had taken!

Another very popular exhibit at the Moscow Zoo is the Panda habitat. There will be crowds of people here watching the pandas, no matter what time of day you visit!

When we went, not only were there tons of people, but it was the panda’s feeding time, and he had buried himself in his bamboo and was laying on his back eating it very, very slowly. So, we didn’t get a very good shot, haha.

It is really cool to be able to watch the animals’ during their feeding times! We were fortunate to see several animals during this time.

I also enjoyed the Polar Bear exhibit, as we had lucked out and were there at their feeding time too. (It was around 1:30 in the afternoon on Saturday.) Again, lots of people, but it was neat to see! I also enjoyed seeing the Polar Bears getting out of the water, as you could see their black skin through their fur before they shook themselves off.

The Brown Bear had live trout in the water of his enclosure, and we were able to watch him hunt for his food as well! He wasn’t the greatest at catching the fish, though, so for his sake, I didn’t take a video!

We were also lucky to see the Elephants during their feeding time. They were indoors for this and we were able to see them very well from a viewing platform.

Food Options Near the Moscow Zoo

There are plenty of cafes and dining options within the zoo itself (from Italian to French and more), sure they will be pricier than eating outside the zoo. But it can be fun to watch the animals while you eat and some of the food is pretty darn good!

For a casual and quick outdoor dining option near the Moscow Zoo, I always liked to pop into Coffeemania. It’s a chain restaurant, with decent food and a great view of one of Stalin Sisters located just outside the zoo. (The building and view pictured above.)

Where to Stay in Moscow – My Suggestions

Metropol Hotel – If you’re a fan of the book “A Gentleman in Moscow” then you must stay at the historic Metropol Hotel! It’s located directly across from the Bolshoi Theatre as well. Click here for my experience here.

Moscow Marriott Royal Aurora Hotel – My friends stayed at this hotel for a few weeks and said it was in a fantastic location and the staff are great – but the rooms are quite dated.)

Marriott Moscow Hotel Novy Arbat – As I mentioned above, this hotel is close to the Moscow Zoo and is the hotel I had stayed at when I was in between apartments. It’s a little further away from everything, and would likely require a cab to get to most of the other attractions in Moscow. However, the rooms here are very nice and the breakfast and lounge are fantastic as well. I also really like the spa and gym at this hotel.

Hey, so I have my driving test on June 3rd but i am looking to buy a car before then in these next few weeks. I have been looking for used cars in the 10-15 grand range as my second car, currently drive a miata, and I am stuck on a few cars: -01-02 s2000 -01 m5 -01-03 s4 I just recently turned 18, and took my driving test, and passed. I'm a male, about to graduate highschool with above a 3.0 and am already enrolled for a Junior College starting in Fall. I haven't received a violation yet, and I don't think I will any time soon. I was just wondering why insurance on an s2000 is MORE expensive than an m5 or s4. I was really sold on the s2000 because its 4 cylinders naturally aspirated (cheap on gas), a convertible, and relatively pretty. All of this was great news, until I saw how much insurance would be for this car. Lets look at the facts for these cars s2000: 2 door convertible 237hp/153lbft RWD 2 Liter N/A 4 cylinder top speed: 155 0-60: 5.5 - 6 seconds m5: 4 door Hardtop 394hp - I don't know the torque RWD 4.9 liter Naturally Aspirated v8 top speed: ~180 mph / 155 mph with limiter 0-60: 4.7-5 seconds s4: 4 door Hardtop 261HP/I do not know the torque AWD 2.7 Liter Twin Turbo v6 top speed: do not know/ limited to 155mph 0-60: 5.5 seconds I know that the small size of the car may make the s2000 unsafe, but the m5 is much more of a car than the s2000, and in my opinion much, MUCH more unsafe than the s2000. The s2000 is a sports car, but what is the m5 then, a 4 door family car? It is much more than that. High performance sports car in my opinion would be much more apropriate.
