I feel like I've read fics where these two interact and have a really positive relationship. I don't remember which ones, but I liked it where I read it. They have a fair bit in common and it makes sense to me for them to connect on some levels, though both being 'sealed' in their respective areas kind of complicates the matter a bit.

I'd love to see a Hallownest version of PS I Love You with them though. Someone make this happen for me.

have you read any fics that kinda have the same dynamic or some personalities your stolitz dynamic has ?

There is one fanfiction that immediately comes to mind, because their interpretation of Stolas is the Stolas, besides canon, which has stuck with me and therefore that characterization probably had an influence on me when A Prince and His Baron was still in its conceptual brainstorming phase:

your head has no right to say no by xensilverquill (orphan_account). It’s stellar. 11 chapters I believe before the author orphaned it, but I think they made the call for someone else to pick it up? (I liked the way they’d portrayed him <3 noble and elegant with Tim Curry levels of horny yet undeniably powerful.)

Now these other two recs might not be as aligned with the Stolitz dynamic/ personalities I’m going for but I’d read these two stories (also titans in the HB fandom) and I cannot deny reading their works helped contributed to me wanting to also create fanfiction for the HB & HH fandom:

**I gotta rec my pal, Talos. He has great productivity at generating a thousand ideas at the drop of a hat (amazing, astonishing, immense respect for this) and is very disciplined at pushing out updates regularly, and his was probably my 2nd or 3rd or 4th Stolitz fic I’d read. I liked the badassery of Stolas and the crew as they rush to save Blitz

A wildcard I’m going to throw out is: Before The Thunder Rolls by Novaeris and Forget Me Not also by Novaeris. They’re both oneshots but the symbolism/ metaphors they use, and the subtle way they show how Blitz reciprocates Stolas’ attraction, is very much aligned with what I like myself. That subtlety <3

My OC:

I have a Pokemon Trainer OC named Kyle. He’s about 5’11”, brown haired, pretty average looking. He’s been all over, done most of everything, like a good amount of other Trainers in his late 20’s. His partner Pokemon is a Venusaur named Apollo. He’s had many different teams of Pokemon for each region, but he’s never left his best friend through any of it; even after Apollo had taken a grievous injury and was bed ridden for years, they never left each other’s side.

What I like the most about Kyle isn’t any sort of anime protag quality, not some sort of “Ash Ketchum” complex, and not that he reminds me of, well me. Kyle isn’t anything special, and yet I find that whenever I have any sort of plans for him, it makes me happy to just have him happy. It’s an inexplicable feeling that doesn’t happen much with any of my other (like, 39 different) OCs, I just get happy when he’s happy. Him and Apollo both. He ain’t never saved the world, and he doesn’t need to, he just wants to chill with his big plant puppy and stuff. :3

Sorry I haven’t posted here in a while, I’ve been very busy. While I won’t be allowed to post the other stuff I had been working on during this time, at least not for several more months, I can at least share this! A very late Christmas gift for @xensilverquill​! I decided to do a polymer clay and needle felt sculpture of Xen’s character Ichor. The scythe, ground, butterflies, and head orbs (I honestly don’t know what else to call them) are all made of polymer clay with the rest being felted. There is armature wire through it to help keep it standing, and the butterflies and head orbs glow in the dark!

This is honestly my first needle felt and I fell in love! I defiantly will be doing more in the future! Felts by Philippa’s tutorials and tips were a big help in making Ichor. I doubt I would have been so happy with the result without her videos, so I have to recommend her.

so if someone has written Hollow as having a voice or having their arm replaced in an AU fic or what have you, is there a delicate way to fix that? or is that just something you would simply rewrite/edit out of the work?

So I am not the right person to ask this 💦

The whole thing of not giving Hollow a voice and being cautious with how I approach prosthetics is just a personal boundary that I have that helps me think critically when making fandom content that a lot of people may see.

I’m not an authority figure or someone who will bring down Thor’s hammer if someone doesn’t do what I do, this is just a rule I have set for myself. I am not disabled or nonverbal, but perhaps one of the many people who follow me are, so I keep that in mind when I create.
