any hopes for kiwami 3? like things u wanna see added or changed stuff like that
if they dont keep kiryu's goofy walk stance and the hoof-like walk sounds i dont wanna play it
#snap chats#no one understands how much i love that from y3 and y4 its genuinely one of my favorite things about the game#oh but i guess i have to give an actual answer now. HMPH.#id scream if they revived kanda calling mine limp wristed. homophobia in 4k#OK BUT TO BE SERIOUS uhhhh i dont know. im a real simple guy i think#my only like. If This Isnt There Im Leaving deal is mine's palette and im so serious#rgg's scaring me with all the black-hair/purple-suit mine stuff as of late and i cant stress how hard ill vomit if thats in the final#HYPOTHETICAL final anyways. yk3 isnt coming out for. IDK A WHILE#i wanna say i hope they highlight daigo and mine's relationship more but i dont know how theyd do that#i really like how mine's handled in y3 as is so i dont think i want scenes injected like what they did with yk1 and nishiki#someone said a Mine Saga after the game and... hm ... sounds too unrealistic for me to hope for it#like im REALLY trying to think how they could possibly reference the rggo stories in y3 since those are EXCELLENT but#i think . MAYBE. you could reference the story where richardson calls mine as he's driving to the hospital#the only thing you'd have to exclude though is mine stopping by the bar- like JUST keep the phone conversation maybe#cause in that scene that subordinate does question mine if he can really kill daigo and i think thatd be neat. in my opinion.#yeah i dont know. in regards to rggo its hard to think of what i want without intervening things i already like about y3#its a real head scratcher ...#a really good epilogue addition would be adapting that RGGO bit where daigo ruminates on mine. that's a fair ending for him i think#it also fulfills the need to see how daigo saw mine even if its just a little#and to non-rggo readers it could start to answer 'how does daigo feel about everything that happened'#im still so curious as to if daigo was briefed on EVERYTHING that happened but .... anyways....#sorry all my hopes for y3 are just mine/minedai centric fLVKELKA BUT LIKE. i really am content with everything else with y3 surprisingly#idk. i want kiryu fucking up that curry in high definition tho. thats important to me#THEY HAVE TO KEEP THE QTES DURING THE RICHARDSON FIGHT ILL BE PISSED#i need the fight to be AS CAMPY and unnecessary as it was in the og. INCLUDING richardson's voice acting i need it wack as hell#is it weird i actually appreciate the Diet Building Loredumping being like. in replayable-cutscene form#i thought id prefer just One Long cutscene but im glad theres the option to skip those segments#BUT being able to get a refresher in case you missed something somehow#im running out of tags jesus christ i shouldve put this in the main text but vjALjlagj those are all my thoughts for now bYE

Announcement on fills:
I’m gonna take a couple of weeks break on filling requests for the event, my wrists are constantly sore but I need to get stuck into and finish my assignment (it’s a big one) so I’m gonna devote all my time to that
FILLS WILL GET DONE AND YOU CAN SEND IN MORE BEFORE THE 13TH!!!
tagging people i still have fills to do for: @starrybrujita @riseofdraven @xxtoothachexx @kerokerogecko @marco–the–phoenix
Again sorry guys, it’s just it even hurts to write this, let alone my FINAL assignment, I did ask for an extension but that’s mainly for the sake of my stress levels (do not want a repeat of weekly shutdowns and constant panic like back in 2020, the thought alone makes me mildly anxious, even while medicated)

Morning Makeouts (Bob Floyd x Reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: The Bob Floyd Fuckfest Saga continues (lol)
Tagging: @floydsmuse @attapullman @sylviebell
Warnings: SMUT!!!! No minors allowed.......like ever (lol)
You and Bob were immensely enjoying your little vacation as always, taking every opportunity to enjoy it at its fullest as well as each other's company. Never in your lives had you and Bob felt so close as you did on that little island paradise in the Florida Keys. Of course you missed being at your home in Montana, but you had desperately needed a break from the mundane, every day goings on.
"Alright, look at me," Bob instructed, adjusting his camera. "There we go sweetheart, PERFECT!"
There you were, right in the ferns in the backyard of the beach cottage where no one stood a chance of seeing you, butt naked with Jimmy, your blue and yellow parrot perched on your wrist. He flapped his wings, just as Bob had begun snapping one photo after another, capturing the perfect image for your new photo album.
"Thank you my sweetpea," Bob said, taking you right in his arms and kissing you.
"Anything for you Bob," you answered, kissing him back. "Truth be told, that was actually alot of fun."
You and Bob were both a giggling mess as you kissed each other, unaware of how far you were stepping back until you both tumbled into the soft little sand pit in the middle of the bushes.
"Sorry baby," he apologized.
"Nope, you're ok Bob," you laughed as he looked down at you.
You could see his eyes darkening as he leaned his head down and kissed you sweetly, drawing a moan from your throat. It wasn't long before you felt his weight on top of you, the kissing growing more heated as something fell from the tree branch and hit the ground with a *THUMP!*.
"No worries (y/n), just a mango," Bob chuckled.
You laughed, but the look in Bob's eyes told you he was up to something, especially when he bit into the mango. "Bob what are you doing?" you laughed.
"Shhhh, just let me for a second?" he whispered.
You felt the cool, sticky juice dripping onto your sternum and down your exposed breasts. Before long you felt Bob dragging his tongue all over your curves and down to your navel where he licked up the mango juice, leaving little love bits and kisses in its wake. The pleasurable moans that came from you were what kept him at it, working his tongue like an artist's brush, swirling around your nipples and up to the soft spots on your neck.
"Mmmm......my turn," you purred.
Bob's eyes went wide but he gladly obliged as you helped remove his shirt and his jeans. You couldn't get over how perfect he looked in the early morning sunlight, his pale skin made soft in the glow of the sun. His boxers were the only thing left that had imprisoned his throbbing hard-on, coming off and being tossed aside with the rest of his clothes. You had almost forgotten how big your husband actually was until you saw his cock standing hard and ready.
"There we go sweetpea," he cooed. "Just.....just a little bit.....oh....there we go......there.....oh honey look at you, taking me so well......that's it, there's a good girl......right there now......good girl."
You moaned happily as his cock gently eased its way into your aching entrance, one little inch at a time. Soon you were sitting pretty right on him, your hips adjusting to his length.
You watched with pleasure as Bob's features took on a scrunkly, laughing look as the mango juice dripped onto his chest. You gladly returned the favor he had given before, licking up the juice as Bob pushed his chest a little closer to your face. Your tongue swirled around his nipples until they became hard, pointed little peaks, kissing the undersides of his tits.
You both came at the same time, Bob thrusting his length as deep in as he could possibly go. You lay skin to skin with each other on that warm patch of sand, gently feeling each other's bodies beneath the warm Florida sunshine.
"Think we should go for a sea bath later?" Bob asked.
"If it gets the ungodly amount of mango juice off of us, then I say yes," you laughed.
Bob kissed you sweetly, holding you against him. It was mornings like this that he lived for most, when it was just the two of you.

It's Just Like A Burning Torch In A Storm, Like A Little Flower Blooming In A Home...
The weather has worsened as Askeladd predicted.
Even as it was past noon, the sky darkened in a warning as if it were the middle of the deadly night. Snowflakes that started out so lovely of how light they were, were now raining down like arrows and blurring the sight. You could barely see any light come from York and simply trotted after the footsteps your 'leaders' and 'liege' left behind.
You scoffed at the fear of the trails being hidden away by the upcoming storm at this pace, however. Dragging Thorfinn by his wrist would take forever until you'd find shelter.
You had told him to rest his broken arm in the sling but he let it swing with every little limp he managed after you. His good arm was just as lax and he barely let out any signs of pain of how utterly and crushingly tight you gripped his wrist as you dragged him after you. Hunched like a bell ringer, his pants and groans were as quiet as a mouse.
You bit your tongue. He barely paid any attention and just let you haul you around like a dog-
A thump. Thankfully you did not let your grip falter on him as he fell to his knees. Swallowing down a sigh, you turned around and tugged on his wrist. "C'mon. The snow is getting heavier."
Thorfinn hung his head.
"C'mon." You called out louder, tugging at him again. With a dreadfully slow pace, Thorfinn managed to lift one leg after another. After helping him up, you turned around to lead the way.
The same song all over again. The scenery did not seem to change, Askeladd and friends having vanished right under your nose. It felt like you were stranded on a place familiar yet far away. Freezing snowscapes weren't an ucommon sight and they surely were not with only Thorfinn as your company but this caving, this sharp chilliness that felt paralyzing as your heart seemed to give in the longer you dwelled here - as if this place was cursed - it was a first. It was all a first, daunting and frightening. Although, you doubted you could really pinpoint your feelings right now.
You let yourself sigh in frustration as Thorfinn fell once again. The crunching of the snow has become irritating and you snapped towards him. "Thorfinn. I know you can stand. You were running towards Askeladd just moments ago," You hoped it was 'just' moments ago, "Stand up already, don't have me haul you."
All you received was another groan. Another attempt but he kept on slipping. With a growl of your own you kneeled down to hold him under his arms. Heaving him with great effort, you almost slipped yourself as the blonde stayed limb, letting you lift him up with all your might. You felt like a mother with an grown man.
You scolded him again as he simply let himself lean on you once you were up on your feet - before pushing him away and giving him a good shake.
Still, he almsot tumbled down again.
"Thorfinn!" Yelling did not seem to effect him as well as his eyes, black and blue, narrow and swollen from the one-sided brawl, barely took in your figure. His brown eyes looked like they saw right through you, not even on eye level as he still did not walk straight, and it pissed you off.
Even breathing for air was painful, the sharp coldness of this barren, damned place wanting to cut into your lungs with each inhale as if taunting you, knowing that you rely on it now. Now, stuck in this forgotten land as the snow lies down on your shoulders. It's getting heavier and heavier, ringing in your ears as even they felt like falling off your head at any moment. They might as well. The biting wind, though gentle as it was, stealing any feeling you had in your bones.
Sniffing and swallowing your snot, you yanked at his arm again, swiftly turning around and trying to march after the fading footsteps as Thorfinn limped after.
The mere sound of crunching snapped the last strand of patience you so miraciously found within you and before the young man could completely slip again, he fell on his side instead as your fist collided with his face.
"You're a complete idiot!"
Thorfinn barely let out a sound. It made the fire within you rise.
"Askeladd was damn right! You're a moron! A godsforsaken fool! Idiot! Idiot, idiot, idiot!"
You stomped your foot, akin to a child, and Thorfinn wondered why you did not let him feel your ire instead, as he gazed up at you through lidded, swollen eyes. Though he did shakily gasp as you bent down and grabbed ahold of his shirt, holding him up to your level.
"The hell do you think you're doing here?! Huh?! What the hell are you doing here?! Answer me!" You threw him to the ground just as quickly. "You have people here that want you back to a home and you are crawling back to damn Askeladd out of all people! Vile, disgusting, bastard Askeladd!"
Your pants grew louder and louder, hands on your head, as they quickly snapped from brainless inhales to a growling, longing shriek - an animal squealing in pain.
"Do you have any idea - no, 'course you don't! You're a stupid mutt! You never think, never had any brains up there, did you?!" Piles of snow were thrown left and right, partly falling on Thorfinn, on his beaten body and face. He flinched at the contact. You kept on screeching. "You always end up like this. On the ground. Like a dog!" Again, you kicked snow his way, "When you could be somewhere else, somewhere far away that isn't here!"
You snapped your arm back to a direction you believed York was, distressed glare still on your friend, "What the hell was this Leif person talking about?! Iceland?! Helga and Ylva?! They're your family, aren't they?! You have family, Thorfinn, family that is alive and well and in Iceland and they want you back! They love you, Thorfinn!" Retreating your arm, you brought your hands back to your head, pulling on your hair, pulling on the last strand of sanity this man left you. Though you desperately were scowling, you wanted to scowl, your eyes were only wide. Wide and big, distress shining in them as tears welled up in the corners. A choked sob escaped you.
"Anyone would jump up in joy hearing that their family is still alive but you didn't give a damn about what that man had to say. He said he'd wait for you. Maybe he's still there."
The screeching softened the more you talked, misty-eyed as you gazed at anything but him. Lamenting to yourself at this predicament he found himself in. Thorfinn's own eyes widened as best as they could as he managed to sit up. A breathy gasp escaped him. He's never seen you like this.
"Do you have," Sobbing, you wiped your nose, "Any idea how lucky you are to have people in this world...that want you?"
The breathy gasp morphed into sharp inhales, greedily gulping in the painful air as Thorfinn kept staring and staring at you, wide-eyed and afraid. He barely could breath.
"You could be there...but you're not. So answer me when I ask you what the hell you are doing here."
Something...something he reckoned to be akin to ringing wormed its way in his ears alongside your sobs. He saw you hiding your eyes as tears fell down your face - but he wasn't sure, the heavy snow and his lidded eyes made it difficult to truly see you. Thorfinn was not certain if he stooped this low that he had begun seeing things.
Tilting his head down to the snow - his neck couldn't find any strength anymore - he startled at the face his father's dagger reflected. Swollen and broken...dark and bruised, blood and snot oozing out of his bent nose with one of his eye hardly visible and of course, barely able to see with it anyway. Maybe it wasn't the trick of the weather but just his swollen face.
He had seen this face time and time again.
It whined and fussed whenever he looked at it, leaving him no choice but to see its pain and its borderline stupidity. The blood coated on the blade as it cut the guards.
The broken arm that almost earned worse by Thorkell's duel.
The stomach that churned whenever he trotted away like a corpse out of sheer hunger. Looking for anything he could gnaw between his teeth.
The hand that held the torch to the woman's demise. The hair she groomed was soaked in blood later, he recalled.
All that gruesome work...all the murders and the guts on the floor, the stolen goods and impaled heads...all those errands.
It was all this ugly face that he sees.
He sucked in air only to let them out in a wail. He wailed and wailed, louder and louder, his voice cracking as his tongue was tied and not able to form any words. He stared at you as you kept on sobbing.
Thorfinn's scream pierced through the heavy snow and the deafening silence. The cold, the snow, the dark, thunderous sky was nothing compared to this might, to this pathetic pain. It was louder than anything else you'd ever heard, both from the people you've killed and their pleas for mercy, and from the amount of grief he so sparingly shared with you, here and there.
Wiping your tears, you grimaced. Even through this wail that teared your heart apart, you could not help but think back on Askeladd. Oh, how wretched he'd feel this sight would be.
It hurt even more that you'd even agree.
It's Just Like A Lighthouse In Your Hands, Like A Little Flag Flapping In The Sands...
Misty-eyed, you looked down on the mutt wreathing in the snow. In his beaten state he could no longer look down at his dagger, could not form any words of remorse, imploration or grief. It was animalistic braying, as Askeladd described, howling at a moon that won't ever rise. You observed for some more, drying your face completely before falling onto your knees before Thorfinn.
His brown eyes struggled to follow your movements but that did not bother you. Watching him twitch and turn, you scooted closer and opened your arms. Arms that felt to heavy to share any burden.
Your limbs were slow, so woefully slow and heavy as they wrapped around his hunched body. Even as you gently and gingerly pressed him against you, Thorfinn continued to cry out, seeming to not have even noticed your gesture. He seemed to only gulp back for air when the side of his head was pressed against your chest.
This cringing feeling only grew worse at the rapid speed of his heart pounding against you. It was akin a bird's panicked flappings as it tried to misguidedly escape the cage it's been put in. However, you still tried to focus on the lightening aspects. How his gasps ceased and he himself tried to take deep breaths. Your hand found the crown of his head, stroking his grimy hair.
Thorfinn jumped. These calm breaths of yours tickled his head, leaving him shuddering. Gazing into the empty, barren snowscape he pondered if - maybe if, as long as he's not mistaken - you had ever done something so comforting to him before. He thought of it to be comforting at least. The familiarity of it all left him stumped as well as equally frightened. He did not know what to make of it.
Were you always like this? You have never...embraced him like this before. Was it because of him? Did he put a distance between you? Were you hesitant, perhaps reluctant to offer him soothing solace such as this? Thorfinn did not know and he did not remember.
Letting out a confused groan, he ever so tediously turned his head and gazed up to you. Chin resting on your chest as he looked up at you like an intriguied animal.
You cringed slightly at the face before you. No longer stroking his hair, you grabbed a fistful of snow and gently rubbed it against his dark blue cheek. Thorfinn did not resist but only let out a soft croak of pain. Still, his eyes never left you. "I'm sorry. I made the bruise worse." You spoke under your breath. The snow dissolved and fell apart, leaving only your reddened palm to cup and carress his face. You hoped it would soothe the injury.
Wordlessly, you continued to graze the bruises on his face with your cold hand in an attempt to lighten the pain. The blonde, as beaten and silent as he was, fluttered his eyes close whenever your fingers touched the swollen lumps nearby. He'd croak and sigh at the lightest of touches, leaning on you on his knees and face tilted up to look at you. Wiping the blood under his nose caused him to sneeze and you ripped a handful of your cloak off, offering for him to sneeze into it.
"One more time. The blood might dry and clump up your nose." He did so as told, clumps of snot and blood pulled out of his nostrills. He sniffed, inhaling the air. You threw the blood-soaked cloth away. Wiping your hand, your brought it back up to press his head against you, hesitant, but deciding to squeeze him ever so gently. Your face grimaced but you did not want to let him know.
It was almost on command. How he let his head turn around again, his ear leaning against your chest to listen to your heartbeat. His own pounded against his chest, calmly yet alone. Lonely and longingly. Aside from it, he was empty. So, so empty he would have loved nothing more than to just lean against you and sleep. Sleep forever.
"...C'mon, Thorfinn. Let's get ourselves somewhere warm." Obeying your command once again, he looked back up at you with big eyes, before lifitng himself up. You tucked a few loose strands of unruly hair behind his ears before slinging the good arm around your shoulder, with your face close to one another, you marched back to York.
A Floating Moon...You Still Croon?
He still leaned against you, that fool.
It nearly made you smile how he almost snuggled. Yet it was just as pathetic. Pathetic and ironic like the sun that decided to bless you the moment you found York again. The snow below you all but melted away by its rays and left nothing but filthy, grimy roads. You prefered it over the slippery ice.
The town was rather crowded. Carts filled with many goods pulled by healthy, decorated horses and men with respectable blades passed by. The meeting is soon to begin, you believed.
Still, it only made you more hesitant to ask for any help. Anyone you turn to could be some high and mighty ruler of a region or worse, their vessels and guards. The many swinging scabbards at their hips did not ease your anxiety.
The side of the road it was. Better behind some stables in the shadows and out of the sight of the many servants. Thorfinn looked worse for wear and a youngling like you would definitely not be welcomed with open arms. Oh, how awfully right you were.
With another person's weight on your side, you accidentaly bumped into another. Praying they'd simply scoff or ignore you, you immediately bowed your head and apologized once they argued with you.
"Hey, hey, hey! What do you think you're doing? Bumping into me, eh? Causing an accident only to rob me from my goods, eh? I know that trick." One approached while you stepped back with Thorfinn in tow, head hanging low. You shake your head, trying to explain that it was indeed a mere accident-
"Don't pull that on me. Look at you, beaten and cold. You two must be poor beggars. C'mere, we know what to do with lot like you." As soon as you were cornered and one pulled his arm back for a punch, Thorfinn snapped his arm forward and shoved the man out of the way. He shrieked, alerting the others. "Hey, now-!" The second one grabbed your shoulder, however, he was swiftly kicked off, legs sweeped under his and falling into the manure below. Thorfinn let out something of an scoff despite his unreadable gaze.
Just as your friend was ready to bash the third man out of the trio, you made a run for it. There was no time to scold Thorfinn - you couldn't afford to earn the anger of some ruler's servant!
A mere barn was found and you snuck Thorfinn to the back behind a few bundles of hay. That certainly was close...but you didn't have the strength to berate him any more.
Instead, you tended to him some more, the best that you could as beggars. The man wasn't nearly wrong. Even now Thorfinn only let out a few hums at each action and touch, nodding meekly at each of your words. It was pitiful and equally heartbreaking.
Only to you though, it seemed.
You gently placed your hand to his forehead and sighed in relieve when not detecting a fever. It didn't appear that he had any symptoms either.
The blonde just leaned into your touch, tired.
You tucked a few unruly locks away. "I have to fetch something...I'll be right back." You snapped up only to be tugged down abruptly. Widened eyes looked down to find Thorfinn grabbing your wrist, stopping you and pulling you down. His swollen lips parted for air and eyes were still unreadable. Lying a hand on his, you tried to offer a smile, "I'll be right back, it won't take long. Just stay here and don't move from your spot."
The grip on your wrist was tight enough that you had to shake it off and leave before he could jump after you.
You missed the way his hand reached for your vanishing figure.
The port was even busier, making your heart race.
It was a mystery to you how you managed to find the short, unassuming man within the crowd of bellowing merchants and sailing boats but there he was, staring at you with wide, big eyes. He blinked a few times; Not quite certain if he should even be speaking to you - with that glare you were offering him.
"I don't know any details," You began, "But I have a request. I'll do what it takes for you to accept it." The man let out a nervous, brief chortle before taking a step forward. His hand scratched the back of his neck. The best he could was bear a crooked grin. "Now, hold on, little one. You, ah," He hesitated, blinked and took a breath, "I saw you with Thorfinn the other day. You are a friend of his, no?"
The man did not miss the way you avoided his gaze.
"And you are a relative of his, right? Uncle...Leif, it was?"
The merchant laughed and his nervous tone quickly shifted to a carefree one. It startled you yet that did not stop him from explaining his situation.
That was all nice and dandy...but you did not have time to listen to old tales.
"Listen, I know where he is. I'll take you to him but for that...you have to take him back to Iceland."
Leif could not deny that your request intriguided him. After all, just like Thorfinn you seemed to be a viking despite being his friend. He never had a viking ask him for a favour.
"I'll do whatever it takes to get him there. I'll personally drag him to your boat if I must, beat him black and blue and throw him into it." Again, Leif waved his hands and hoped his awkward laughter would ease the tension...and make you realize how dramatic your solutions were. It was not neccessary, he'd say, all that was needed was a good talk and listening to each other. To follow one's heart...and he's sure Thorfinn would choose the right answer.
That was enough for you to consider it a deal. Hurrying the older man, you were suddenly stopped as he tapped your shoulder. "I wanted to thank you, young one."
Raising a brow, it only made Leif grin.
"Thank you for being a friend to Thorfinn. He used to be such a sweet and hopeful kid...but now, he'd been through hell. I don't know all of the details but I am certain his life would have been more miserable if it weren't for you. Thank you for always staying by his side."
He continued to speak. You listened attentively, your eyes widened and fearing to tear up yet again at these kind words of this kind man.
Thorfinn could count himself lucky to have people who love him.
Listen To Me, Cleave Your Way Again, Again...
The floor was cold but thank the gods not as cold as the snow outside.
Lonely droplets of water fell down one after another and another and another; Like a melody to the puddle below. Thorfinn would have liked to thank to be alone right now. Alone and with not another soul as his company, as the trio of men chased after him and handed him over to the town's guards. With no resistance, he let himself be thrown into the dungeon.
But he could not find any gratitude in his empty heart to any gods right now.
You weren't back. You said you would be but when he looked up to the shadows hovering over him, he was met with three disgusting grins and not your smile. Bitter, bewitching, bland - it did not matter, he just needed to see your smile again.
You...held him. As if he deserved it.
You deserve to be looked for right now but he could not find any strength nor vigor to get up and escape, as easily as he was capable of it. All his head was filled of where questions on your whereabouts as his heart yearned for your presence.
A guard called out to him, speaking of an visitor. His first thought was you and how you returned to him. As best as he could, he crooked his neck and uttered your name.
Yet you weren't back still. There, sitting on the ground with the brightest smile he could muster was the man who used to tell him stories as a child. He prepared himself before he spoke. "Thorfinn. I've been told of an rowdy beggar being locked up. My gut feeling told me that might have been you, my boy."
Thorfinn sighed in disappointment and laid back down.
Leif licked his lips, taking a deep breath. "...You told me how you suffered for the past eleven years since we lost you, Thorfinn. You spoke of how I wouldn't understand, and I might not, and how...you couldn't find any peace within you as long as that man was still alive."
"...That...has nothing to do with you."
Nevertheless, the man persisted, believing it to be of concern to him. The fighting, the wars, the pain - and of how he swore it to himself to bring an end to it all by bringing him home.
A home filled with warmth and people. Of stories, some true and some silly, of food and water. Of no fear for your life and your future. A place where there was love.
"I swore an oath, you know? To myself and to Thors...that I would bring you back to Iceland. Bringing you back home where you belong, Thorfinn. That is the honor I want to uphold and the least I owe to Thors."
At the utter of his father's name, Thorfinn found the fortitude to sit up. Leif's grin was even more radiant than he remembered as a child. "So, Thorfinn...let us go back home. To Iceland!"
"Home...?"
Home...how tempting that word was. How it rolled off his tongue like stenching poison.
Home...after all this time? Why? Why would he, why should he?
Could he even?
"My boy, you said it yourself!" Leif scooted closer, his grin rivaling the sun, his eyes shining like a jewel. "So we can go to Vinland!"
Thorfinn could barely catch his breath, his empty chest that barely could hold his caving heart now rising. Rising, as he remembered the tale of old times.
A land far in the west, beyond the ocean...a land so warm and fruitful and so far away that no slave drives nor wars could reach it...
"Thors wished to go there, too...and I am sure - no, certain! Certain that if he was still alve, he would have loved nothing more than to travel to Vinland!"
Thorfinn hung his head. Was he...even allowed to hear such things, let alone do them? Take action?
"Home...and Vinland..."
Not being able to hold off his quivering smile, Leif dusted himself off as he got up on his feet. He walked slightly to the end of the bars. "And if you allowed it too, Thorfinn...I invited another companion to join us."
Now standing near the end, Leif opened his palm. Squinting his eyes, Thorfinn made out an hesitant, shaking hand peeking out from behind the wall and gingerly taking Leif's own outstretching one. He gladly wrapped his fingers around it, while the other shyly wrapped theirs around him, after a good while.
Following him, behind the wall your figure appeared - and the young blonde wasted no time to jump to his knees. You turned to him, looking down with a bittersweet smile. Thank the gods, he could see your smile that he so wished for.
Voice shaking with disbelief he called out your name.
"You gave me an heart attack."
My, did you tell him of how he did give you an heart attack when you returned to the spot with Leif and found him to be gone. Of how you told the man that he must be arrested and locked up, like the idiot that he was, and that he'd best be bribed free. Leif took the initiative and kindly asked you to wait.
Grey eyes glanced between the two of you and Leif let out a sigh of relieve, his hands on his hips. Even in this odd, ridicilous and hopeful situation that you wanted nothing more than to put your faith into, you approached the bars and looked down at your friend with the sweetest smile you could muster.
"After all this...could you take me to Vinland?"
Listen To Me, Sail Away Again, Again...A Misty Moon
I'm Missing You...
For the first time since today, you could feel the breeze.
No longer was it biting or howling but simply soothing.
This road, dirty and muddy and the chants of the people going their merry way felt like a dream.
Stepping inside Leif's humble, little boat felt like a dream.
The mention of other possibly kind merchants joining as Thorfinn held your hand - it was wonderful. Once he was out, he embraced you tight, not saying a word. He worsened his broken arm with the never-ending squeeze he gave you and definitely smeared snot and blood on your neck when he buried his head in there, but you did not dare to complain. Your arms wrapped around his body, silently grateful to have him back.
In this mess that you were and the mess that you are, you felt like the luckiest person alive. You, bewtiched by the bliss, did not complain as Thorfinn let go of your hand.
He was as quiet as a mouse, anyway. You let him ponder, you let him pout to himself. But what you could not let happen was him vanishing once again.
As he did on that snowy hill to fight Thorkell.
"Thorfinn!" Yours and Leif's scream aligning with a bird's shriek. The man just got this little boy back and now you were running off as well, searching for him. He thought he finally found Vinland. Finally could honor his own oath and quench this sadness in his heart.
It was all for nothing.
The searching, the bribing, the empty promises on his behalf...your fighting, your murders, tending his wounds and holding him in your heart. All for nothing.
Yells echoed within the meeting hall. You caught a glimpse of brown and yellow make a sharp turn for it. "Thorfinn!" Yet as men tried to flee the hall, you only struggled to get inside, hearing Thorfinn's screams for Askeladd.
He seemed to have gotten in as his figure vanished from your sight and you hardly could hear him. The yelling and screaming ceased - what had happened in there?
"Thorfinn! Thorfinn, come back! Please!"
Not a reply, not a bellow of utter agony either. It was only you, screeching out his name, screeching out to be let go as the many servants and guards dragged you out. Pulling on your cloak, pulling on your hair, your arms, your face.
"Thorfinn!"
You could not see beyond the crowd. It was eerie to not hear anything from him. Now you wished he hadn't been so quiet.
"...What...? You, are dying? You...?"
The men reckoned you to be a beggar, wondering what you are doing here. Breaking into the king's meeting.
"...Don't be so foolish...and stop this nonsense. I give you my life...but...what will you do with your life...after you've taken mine...?"
Your screaming only convinced them of your madness. A mere, hysterical beggar breaking into the king's murder.
"Thorfinn!"
"...Will you take your friend with you...? Or will you do as I did to Björn...you should go, Thorfinn. Go far, far away from here. Somewhere that isn't here..."
You shall be taken away. Hysterical but maybe useful.
"Damn it, come back! Go back to Iceland, Thorfinn! GO BACK TO ICELAND!"
Iceland is not a fruitful or promising land...you shall be useful somewhere else. Somewhere that isn't here.
"...Go, Son of Thors...become a true warrior..."
Do Good, To Be Good...Do Good, To Be Good...You're Not Alone...
For the first time today, you felt the agony that dwelled within your heart, boiling there, wating for this moment.
The faces of the people, the mud of the road pressed into your face, the cuffs on your hands. It was a true nightmare.
Ripped away from the second Thorfinn let go of your hand and did not return to you. You still missed his silhouette. It was gone the moment you were hauled out of the place and thrown into the sea.
Thorfinn did not even answer your cires.
No one would now to a slave.

costumizing my wrist braces: part 1
as some of yall may know i have a case of tendonitis wich tends to rear its ugly head during exams or other big projects, wich means that i carry around a set of wrist braces wherever i go
the problem is that said braces are of the color i would charitably call "medical beige", and the resulting look honestly ruins all of my outfits
so today, armed with a bottle of rit dyemore, access to a cricut and obnoxious htv, various colors of thread, AND a big bag of safetypins, i have officially started operation "make the braces not suck"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID in ALT]
the dye took really well and i am happy with that, BUT it turns out that the glue holding all the little bits together was heat-based and thereby Did Not like 30 minutes in close-to-boiling water
its not anything i cant fix with stitching, and i was planning on adding something decorative anyway, but it was a bit of a shock to discover upon pulling the braces from the bath
thus concludes the first part if this saga, second part (here, or check the "operation make the braces not suck" tag on my blog) will probably be the htv once the braces are dry and i have the spoons to do it

Could we see a follow-up to the chaotic caretaking saga with Sven taking care of a very sick Elex after he catches what Sven had?
Hey Anon! So sorry this took so long, I swear I drew out six different variations of this scenario and hated them all until I finally landed on this~
I hope this is what you were looking for~ :3
Tumblr media
After Sven recovered from his yearly brush with death, he was simply itching to get back to his creative outlets. He managed to book a shoot with one of his friends in town at her own home, and just to be on the safe side, he politely wore a face mask just in case he was still contagious at all. Despite the possibility of outing himself to someone, Elex decided to tag along with him.
S7en could easily tell something was up with the badger though. His quips were few and far between, and as the day dragged on, his consonants slowly began to round out from the subtle congestion that had started to make itself at home behind his eyes.
When the cat discovered he had left his supplies in their truck, Elex begrudgingly offered to go and snag it for him. But once the badger returned with the large cardboard box filled with lenses and other various supplies, the fever flush on his face was obvious in the artificial lighting inside, a few beads of sweat rolling down his forehead and cheeks.
Finally, S7en couldn’t bite his tongue any longer, managing to swallow any nerves he once had to ask how the other was feeling. As he did so, he reached out a hand to place it gently against his boyfriend’s warm cheek..
Although before he could even finish his question, he was instantly met with the cool spray of an uncovered, harsh sneeze against his wrist and palm as an answer, instantly causing his pale cheeks to flush the same shade of pink that already dusted over Elex’s features. 🫠🫠🫠
Elex is still @thekinkyleopard ‘s 💚

YOU PUT YOURSELF IN A NEAT LITTLE BOX ,  AWASH OF THE FATIGUED MAN THROWING HIMSELF IN UNINVITED .  -    FITTING  A WELL PRESSED TONGUE ON BELIEF .  YOU’D NOT REST YOUR NECK UNDER THE GUILLOTINE WHEN YOU’D JUST FOUND COMFORT.  AND SO YOU STAND STRAIGHTER , AWAY FROM THE REACH OF HIS HAND. THERE IS A STENCH TO YOU. AN ODIOUS ODE TO FRAUDULENCE SCREECHING UNDER FOOT OF SURVIVAL.   THERE IS A BEGINNING TO EVERYTHING , AND IT STARTS WITH SOMETHING INSIDE OF SOMETHING ELSE.  LIKE  A TRAP SET IN A DEVOTEE’S MOUTH SWITCHING ON WHEN CLOSE TO THEIR BELOVED’S WRISTS  . .

YOU WAIT FOR HIM TO GIVE SOME SIGNAL OF AGREEMENT, -  FOR EVERY SECOND OF WAIT UNFOLDED YOU FROM THE INSIDE / OUT .  LURCHING YOUR STOMACH INTO YOUR THROAT -  OFF-TIMING YOUR LIFE. Princess Glimmer and the Day of Many Choices: Bow's sexy pirate shenanigans
I'm back! Just a fair warning - this one is kinda dirty
"Adventure!" Sea Hawk happily cried, dramatically standing in the stern of the ship, gazing to the horizon.
Tumblr media
"Adventure!" Bow loyally repeated.
"Dorks," Mermista said and rolled her eyes.
"Come, my lad," Sea Hawk rumbled, "and I will teach you the ways of the sea."
"I'm ready to learn," Bow said with as much bravado as his quickly beating heart allowed him - a condition that only became worse as Sea Hawk extended a hand, strong and scarred from many a battle with weather and foes alike.
"Then take my hand, lad," the pirate said with a wide grin. "Take my hand and there is so much you will learn."
Bow swallowed, told his insecurities to shut up and took the hand. Sea Hawk's grip was strong and warm, but surprisingly gentle. The pirate moved like an acerbate, and Bow felt himself be led like in a dance to the rigging.
Tumblr media
"Now this tack," Sea Hawk said and gently put Bow's hand on a rope, "is for the spanker."
"The spanker?" Bow swallowed, acutely aware with how close Sea Hawk's face was from his own all of sudden.
"The spanker," Sea Hawk repeated.
"I don't know what to do with the spanker," Bow confessed, feeling his cheeks getting warm.
"I'll teach you lad," Sea Hawk said. "I'll teach you all about the spanker."
"I want to learn," Bow earnestly said. "I want you to teach me."
"Then pull, lad," Sea Hawk grinned. "Pulled for all you're worth."
"What if I do something wrong?" Bow gasped.
"You won't," Sea Hawk assured him. "And I'll be here the entire time." He leaned closer. "Every step on the way, I'll be by your side."
"But it's so big!" Bow said, both hands on the tack.
Tumblr media
"Uuuuuuuugh!" Mermista groaned. "Stop it with the ropes already." She pointed at Bow. "You, get over here."
"Oh… um, sure…?" he said, suddenly dry in his voice under the expectant gazeesdjh of the haughty princess.
"Took you long enough," she said as he joined her by the wheel. "I need you to fix my sextant."
"Your… what?" Bow blinked.
"I need you to calibrate my instrument," she clarified. "Any problem with that?"
"No-o…" he whispered.
"Good," she said and grabbed his wrists. It came so sudden he barely had time to gasp until she had moved his hands to a small brass instrument. "Here, move this part until you get the right spot."
Tumblr media
"But it's so delicate!" Bow said, voice shaking. "What if I can't find it?"
"You'll simply have to keep trying, won't you," she leered. She watched his clumsy attempts with eyes that were more eager than she let on. "…but you're doing OK so far," she admitted.
"Really?' he perked up.
"Yeah," she muttered. "Just OK, don''t think you can slack off."
"I wouldn't dream of slacking off, ma'am," he promised as he kept working her instruments, getting better at it for every turn.
"Oh, lad!" Sea Hawk yelled, sitting astride the ship's main artillery piece. "When you're done with that tomfoolery I need you to polish my canon!"
"Oh my gosh!" Bow said, eyes wide.
Tumblr media
"Uuuuuuuuuugh!" Mermista said.
Then they went below deck where nothing of interest happened, I'm sure*.
So glad to be back! I'll update every second day or so. I've also finally put a log of this ongoing saga on my ao3 page. As always, you'll find older entries by searching the "princess glimmer and the day of many choices" tag.

I just had this idea, wouldn’t the smell of the giants be amplified for the smalls? Everything else is amplified. David’s cologne would be overpowering to anyone unfortunate enough to be near him (he would wear it you can not change my mind). Like the bacteria that creates smell would be more/bigger to tinies than to the giants so in my peanut brain it makes sense! I understand if this makes you uncomfortable though as smell is… weird. Just an idea I wanted to share. Have a great day!
Anon, I have made an entire saga on your idea alone.
It just didn't want to work with me! So I made three separate stories, all about 2,000 long, and then I combined them together. I'm not lying when I say I want to write another one to tag onto it.
So I hope you feel validated! We will have peanut-sized brains together because I absolutely agree and love it! AND, I hope you have a great day as well!
Ignorance At Its Finest
Content Warnings: Cursing. Mentions of murder. Mentions of death. Treating people as lesser than. Unintentionally making someone scared. Being uncaring toward others. Being unsympathetic toward others.
It's all fun and game until Fritz claps back with the 'you smell like'
___________________________
David never thought him wearing cologne would ever be an issue.
Look, he’s a business man. He understands certain things are luxuries, knows the difference between needs and desires.
He’s also a very wealthy man who doesn’t need anyone telling him how to live his life.
Besides, out of everything he has, from the house that’s considered too big for only one person to live in, to the insanely expensive car that sits in his garage and is used once a year, he never thought something that costed a fourth of what one suit in his wardrobe does would make such a ruckus.
Yet here he is.
"Excuse me?”
“The cologne needs to go,” Vincent repeats as he continues to walk toward the door. Because this was stated at the very end of their first meeting, the purple man making it seem as if this is final.
“Hold on!” David exclaims, standing up to follow the other. “You can’t just say-!”
“I did.”
“-there’s no reason-”
“There is.”
“-you have no right-”
That’s when Vincent turns with a look of murder in his eyes. “Oh Davey, I have every right. Besides, it’s just cologne! You’re not going to die without it. The same can’t be said if you keep it, though!”
And that’s how David was left, staring open mouthed after the thing that criticized him for wearing cologne.
He ignores it. Because as much as Vincent terrifies him, it was an inconsequential thing. Honestly he’s unsure how the purple man even knew he was wearing it. Unlike high school boys, he knows how to properly wear it, not to mention it was only spritzed across his neck and not his wrists.
“Go wash your hands and face.”
David knew the name ‘Scott Cawthon’ didn’t belong to a fellow giant. As much as he loathed the idea of one of the lowly creatures technically in a position higher than himself, there wasn’t much he could do.
The only saving grace was the fact the man hadn’t been to his restaurant yet. Only phone calls demanding certain information as well as reviewing the documents that had a singular letter missing. Though it wasn’t certainly fun to realize the resident mutated grape favored the little pest. Meaning when he first hung up on Scott bitching at him, he got a lovely visit, and therefore has to keep himself from so much as accidentally ending the call before his supervisor was truly done.
Today was a special day, however. Apparently, wanting a human to get transferred to his restaurant required a personal visit from the voice over the phone. ‘Ensure the poor boy won’t get stepped on by an egotistical asshole of a giant’ was the exact quote.
When he first spotted the miniscule thing standing in his doorway, he wasn’t impressed. Unlike David as he sits at his desk with gelled hair and a full piece suit, Scott apparently thought appropriate work attire consists of a graphic t-shirt and shirts, his hair left to do as it pleases.
With the words acting as greeting, David’s pissed. “Would you like to repeat that?”
Scott doesn’t hesitate. “Go. Wash. Your. Hands. And. Face.”
“You little-”
“You want a human to come work for you,” the man snaps. “I’m the one who gets to approve or deny your request.”
David glares as it becomes clear Scott does in fact have power over him. And unlike Vincent, someone who should have it considering he stands only an inch shorter than the giant, it’s a human who couldn’t stop being squeezed in a fist or kicked by a shoe.
Yet here they are. Scott having the upper hand with his position in the company, and an extremely dangerous giant who’s at his beck and call.
“May I ask why?” David snarls.
“Your cologne. I know Vince brought it up on your first day.”
Goddamn it!
“What is with you dumbasses and cologne? It’s not like it’s hurting you.”
Scott goes silent. Looks him up and down. “David, out of everyone you could’ve requested to get transferred, why did you want a human?”
He’s not admitting that might’ve only crossed his mind to check once he saw the impressive notes regarding Fritz Smith.
You could’ve backed out.
And let someone waste potential like that?
You own a giant only restaurant. What could a little pest like him do for you?
…that’s a valid question.
“Is this an interrogation?”
“This is an interview. If you have adequate answers for a job description that is nigh-impossible for someone who stands no taller than the fingers of the customers who come here, then we can move onto what you’ll be doing to ensure his safety.”
“I need a face for the restaurant,” David begins with a scowl. “His profile states the animatronics are extremely respectful and mindful of him, some even say they ‘favor’ him. And considering the long list of being fantastic with customer service, glowing reviews, and coworkers stating how reliable he can be as well as the person to go to in any situation, he would be a valuable asset to have him assisting in customer relations while I focus on the business.”
Scott gives a look. “Is it safe to assume you want a secretary?”
Yes.
“My animatronics should be overseen by someone with experience. Considering the dark past Fazbear Corporation hired me specifically to eradicate.”
“God I hate business men.”
“Did I pass your test?” David sneers.
Scott wipes a tired hand over his face. Sighs because he knows the giant is right.
“David, I know this is hard to believe, but the world doesn’t revolve around you. Meaning Fritz will need safety precautions put in place-”
“I’m not an idiot, Scott.”
“-and giants realizing how much they affect humans. This includes your footsteps causing earthquakes, yelling capable of bursting our ear drums, and cologne being almost suffocating.”
David finds himself stopping himself midsentence as the last part registers. Because, of course, he never thought about nor cared how any of his actions effected their smaller counterparts. Not to mention he tries to avoid them all together.
“Aren’t you technically a mile away?”
“I can smell it from here.”
The business man immediately scoffed. “Bull-”
“I’m sure you get plenty of compliments on it, I was getting a nice warm smell with spice undertones when I was first entering the hallway. But standing here, I feel like I’m going to get knocked out from the earthy musk, and the flower doesn’t help mixed in with citrus and chocolate.”
David’s mouth drops for a second before he snaps it shut.
“No more cologne.”
. . .
Fritz is well aware David wears cologne.
When he was first getting transferred, Scott had approached him to ensure he was okay with changing restaurants. And not just the typical checking how far the commute will be and confirming his pay will stay the same or increase. No, the meeting was more in the direction of-
“Your boss will be an egotistical giant who thinks humans are nothing more than pests.”
Honestly, Fritz appreciated the sandy haired man warning him. Despite the older being a human himself, certain things are obvious when someone owns or works for a business that’s categorized as ‘giant only’. He might be a naïve teenager, but it’s impossible to completely avoid belittling comments and actions that every human receives at least once in their life.
Those who live in human only cities might not, but it’s guaranteed working at a restaurant that caters to both counterparts.
“It sounds…interesting.”
Scott had stared at him. “You’re seriously considering it.”
“Think of it this way,” Fritz grinned, held his hands out to physically stop the judgement. “On one hand he was definitely too prideful to back out again once he realized I was human. But if you didn’t immediately tell him no once meeting him, then it sounds like he’s willing to make some changes!”
“And turn you into a stress ball.”
The redhead tensed up at that. Paled at the thought that, if he agreed to it, then he’ll be completely at the whim of not just one giant, but an entire restaurant.
He knows there’s multiple reasons for people wanting to go to only businesses. Taking into account the fact they’re talking about a children’s restaurant, putting giants and humans together isn’t always the best idea. Kids get rowdy, don’t understand the moving action figure is actually a person, and it’s almost impossible to constantly stare at the ground while waiting tables.
Not every giant who works or goes there will treat him like a nuisance who shouldn’t be there.
But for those who do, would he feel comfortable knowing not even his boss cares if he’s safe or not?
“…what’s the updated job description?”
“Greeter,” Scott grunted, watched the surprised expression before he continued. “As well as animatronic watcher, coordinator, and on-hand assistant.”
“Like, on-hand-?”
“I can guarantee you will be grabbed randomly multiple times without being asked first, and not just by David. Your potential coworkers weren’t too happy about me being there. Not as much as your boss, but they won’t respect your preference on how to be picked up. Or if you’d want to be in a hand at all for that matter.”
Fritz looked down in thought. Nearly flinched at someone stepping outside the human hallway they walked in to speak privately.
Snapped his head up with something akin to panic. “Did they touch you-”
“No,” Scott stated gently. Smirked. “They know not to so much as look at me. I’m worried about you.”
Fritz hadn’t known where exactly the human blatantly worried for his safety has in the chain of command. Knew he was the person to go to when it came to hiring, finalizing reports for those who ‘quit’ or got fired, but even a lowly waiter knew the name ‘Scott Cawthon’ held respect and power behind it.
He didn’t have to ask the redhead. Could’ve denied David’s request for any number of reasons without even bringing it up to said employee. Or approved without a second thought and let the teenager get thrown into a circumstance without so much as a warning.
But he had gone to the restaurant. Berated the giant none too fond of those who stand no more than 3 inches tall.
Fritz didn’t want that to be for nothing.
“When can I start?”
Scott sighed. Ruffled his hair. Whacked him upside the head with a look that said ‘you’re an idiot’.
“Tomorrow. And heads up, he wears cologne.”
Fritz was actually confused why that had been a necessary add-on. He works around giants all day long, and never had that been brought up before. He’s noticed when customers and his coworkers come in wearing it, so it’s nothing notable.
He realized why on his first day at his ‘new’ job.
He wasn’t really paying attention at first. David hadn’t been at the door to greet him, instead waiting inside his office just like he had with Scott. Meaning Fritz was more focused on simply surviving the restaurant.
No one would open the door for him. It was Fritz vs. making the perfect timing behind a family while avoiding catastrophic shoes and a slow but very unhuman friendly door.
No one would look at him for more than one second, and even then it was only to sneer down at him. So he had to locate the elusive office himself.
No one would offer a hand either, meaning he was thoroughly terrified trying to get to the wall to travel in safety, forced to sprint as fast as possible and hope some kid didn’t stomp or grab him.
Once he reached the hallway toward the back of the restaurant, had gotten far enough from joyful screams of kids he could actually hear his own thoughts, that’s when he realized two things.
One, he made a terrible mistake agreeing to be transferred.
Two, he could smell something warm with a hint of a spiced undertone.
Fritz didn’t think much of it other than it being a weird second thought. He only continued to travel further into the hallway after spotting a sliver of light escaping from a doorway.
On the plus side, there weren’t any giants walking in and out of the hallway. He was able to take his time and let his racing heart slowly calm down.
But the closer he got, and admittedly worried that if that had been the greeting he received from his coworkers than how is his boss going to react, he couldn’t shake the smell from his thoughts.
It kept getting stronger. Nearly dizzying. He could pick out specific notes from floral, to ‘earthy’, to chocolate.
It hit him as soon as he knocked on the door barely open enough for a human to slip inside. Remembered Scott warning about David wearing cologne.
“I do believe you’re 5 minutes late.”
Fritz tensed up, allowing terror to clench his heart, truly afraid he might be crushed without a second thought. And of course, no one would care. No one would report a lowly human employee ‘disappearing’.
Scott would.
He took a deep breath, nearly choking on the overwhelming smell. “I’m sorry, sir. It won’t happen again.”
Since the beginning of the meeting, he hadn’t been looked at once. The giant suited man remained turned toward his computer, speaking without even looking at the teenager he wanted to hire. But finally hazel eyes much colder than Scott’s glanced over at him.
“Make sure you’re here ten minutes early tomorrow.”
You know, I wonder what I’d prefer. Death by a glare, or death by suffocation via perfume.
“Yes sir.”
Surprisingly, that was the end of it. No specific task to complete. No instructions on what his first day should have. Not even a tour. He was dismissed.
So Fritz did as Fritz’s do. He found the animatronics and immediately struck a deal of having a safe way of getting around the restaurant as well as back up if need be. The best part? He had a long list of bribes thought of on how to convince them to help, but apparently them interacting with a human was enough to bargain with.
And that was that. He had coworkers he could trust as much as possible because Lefty gets grabby when Orville’s around and a boss who ‘trusted’ him on knowing what to do.
He learned the flow of Fazbear Entertainment Center as well as the rules. It really boiled down to getting work done in a timely manner and never bug David. And that meant, if there’s a problem, you make someone ‘David’.
It used to be the day guard named Greg. Until Greg was faced with the issue that Lefty apparently couldn’t keep his paws off the arcade machines. Their boss said ‘take care of it’ and his giant coworker had no idea what to do.
Fritz knew he wasn’t turned to because they realized he didn’t just teleport from place to place. Knew his giant coworkers didn’t pay attention to who exactly swept him off the counter. With the smug look given before a singsong ‘Red!’ it’s safe to say they thought this would be the thing to get him fired.
It’s a right of passage being ‘David’. Fail, and you’re fired without hesitation. Pass, and you get to keep your job.
“Hey Lefty? What if we challenged each other’s high score on the game you choose. I win, you promise to only play before we open and after we close.”
“I win, and I get to challenge you once a day whenever I want.”
Fritz won. Unlike the bear, his other coworkers thought he was delusional for one, trying to bargain with Lefty, and two, think he could play a machine meant only for giants. As if there’s no fancy electronics that can be plugged into any game and allow him to play normally. And if they cared about his safety, they would’ve realized long ago all of the animatronics not only helped him, but respected him with the things he did to make their day better.
Of course, that problem was an easy fix in his eyes.
The issue was that he became ‘David’.
Sometimes it was about the animatronics fighting. Others it was about his coworkers. But a large portion/ was calming angry customers.
He’ll admit, it was draining. But it earned him a lot of respect being able to navigate the best solution for an upset mother or Greg angry at Lefty for hiding his things.
He loves the bear, but the bear is the bane of his existence.
The thing is, with being ‘David’, the true David Harrison took notice.
“Fritz.”
The redhead had to force himself not to jump at the semi-familiar voice he only distantly heard. Because why would the business man waste his time on lowly employees, especially the one human he hired.
Which was fine with Fritz! He didn’t want to be constantly berated with comments of ‘pest’ or looks of hatred or be terrified he’ll get grabbed in a fist and squeezed as if he’s some kind of living stress ball-
“Yes sir?”
“Are you able to join me in my office?”
I don’t have a choice, do I?
“Of course!”
He should’ve expected it. He was standing on the counter for the register. Near the edge because, with how many times his coworkers both giant and animatronics alike grab him, it makes it easier for everyone to just pluck him from his work.
It scared him with the speed David grabbed him. And then he was overwhelmed by the suffocating smell of vanilla/earth/flower.
He couldn’t breathe. And being held in a tighter fist than most giants didn’t help either.
By the time they got to the office, Fritz simply freed onto the desk to catch himself from falling on his face, he felt light-headed.
It’s a miracle he hadn’t tripped and fell. Not with how he stumbled a few times before standing with his legs apart, hands held straight on either side, the world seeming to spin, and with each deep breath he took he was only slapped with yet another wave of the cologne.
David stared at him with an unamused look. “What are you doing?”
Fritz panted, trying to breathe without perfume tainting the air, coughing as it just seems to be everywhere. “C-Cologne.”
He received a blank stare. And knowing Scott being as thoughtful as he was, he’s sure the eldest guard had made a comment about it.
It looks like he’ll just have to get used to it.
. . .
David realizes he is the only one who doesn’t realize how much his actions effect humans.
He’ll admit, he’s egotistical. And despite the fact he’s a giant and therefore should be knowledge of how his actions effect those no taller than 3 inches less tall, he doesn’t take the time to be self-aware concerning the smaller counterparts until he’s addressed and told he needs to change a few habits.
It happened when he didn’t watch the ground as he walked, something Vincent had to physically yank him back from possibly stepping on Scott.
It happened when he didn’t realize he turns whatever he’s holding into a stress ball, James seemingly appearing to save Fritz with the redhead too panicked to speak.
It happened when he allowed himself to forget he had a human in his pocket, Mike promising to kick his ass if he ever forgot about a Jerber, and by extension, Irish Jig, Egged Jackass, Hell Spawn, or Phone Guy ever again.
David trusts the others to tell him when he needs to pay more attention, or change something in his routine. Not because he truly trusts them, but because he has much better things to do than realize what the humans he interacts with need.
The only problem is, while the other giants are more self-aware and therefore will watch and teach him how to ensure no one gets severely injured by his hands, they don’t know everything. And if one of his human ‘coworkers’ ever brought up something to him, he would’ve forgotten about it in seconds.
That’s what he believed happened with his cologne. Because Vincent doesn’t count when it came to his first week of meeting the mutated grape.
The only time David remembers anyone bringing up his cologne was during a birthday party at what’s considered Fazbear Entertainment’s ‘first location’. Considering Mike’s the night guard, he’s usually asked to assist the day guard to ensure everyone is safe. Especially due to the restaurant being a mixed one for humans and giants alike, a large party can become concerning.
The only problem was Mike getting sick and needing to stay home.
If this had been before multiple locations being shut down and needing to turn a new leaf less the entire franchise is shut down for good, any human would’ve been asked. Meaning Jeremy would’ve been contacted, though most likely Scott being forced to take his place.
But this was after. So to keep up the good name David bent over backwards to accomplish, a giant had to be found.
Vincent was an obvious no. James apparently had classes to attend.
That’s why David of all people got summoned.
“You do realize I’m a restaurant owner,” he growled down at Scott. Who, surprisingly, hadn’t looked smug in the slightest seeing him at Mike’s location instead of his own. More just looked tired.
He hated it more that Fritz, Eggs, and Scott had been told to come as well. But apparently three humans working together can’t replace an actual giant.
“David, I might be your supervisor, but Afton had to approve someone ‘unqualified’ to take role of a day guard.”
“No one’s qualified.”
“That’s why I put air quotes around it. Just watch for any humans getting grabbed. Mike can do it, so it can’t be that hard.”
David knew what the bastard was doing, comparing him to Mike of all people. But it worked, and he fell silent. Obediently watched the running kids. Upset with himself he had forgotten to bring earplugs considering he can’t duck into his office once a headache began to form.
Realized with a start Fritz had seemingly disappeared from the human area.
In the back of his mind, he knew the redhead at worked at that location previous to being transferred. He also was aware that, despite Mike being Mike, their lead guard knew how to protect both humans and giants alike. Was arguably the best for keeping track and stopping some brat from snatching someone up before it happened.
David doesn’t really watch his only human employee in the giant only restaurant he owns. He both loathes and appreciates the comparison, but he is a bit like Afton in the way Scott is protected purely by name and association across all locations. Everyone who comes into Fazbear Entertainment Center knows Fritz is his human that is never to be touched.
But unlike Afton, no one at Freddy Fazbear’s know the redhead is his. Not when he’s only stopped at the location previously to draft plans on better improving the reputation past the ‘rumors’ of murder and missing night guards.
David cursed before quickly leaving his post, eyes scanning across tables in the hopes of spotting a living action figure having been abandoned. He moved onto searching the floor, wanting to not think about any human attempting to dodge and hide from giants unknowing and uncaring if the smaller counterparts ended up underfoot.
While his search was methodical, he didn’t see a single glimpse of a human. No miniscule flame of-
“HARRISON!”
David froze. Turned toward where he could’ve sworn he heard “Eggs?”
“TABLE! PARTY HAT!”
The business man hadn’t known what he was expecting, but it certainly hadn’t been the human mechanic breathing in relief when a cheap purple and red hat was lifted up to free him. Yet there he was, and David had no choice but to offer a hand that was immediately leapt onto.
Despite the fact Fritz was still missing, he took a moment to look at the chosen item to keep Eggs trapped. “Were you yelling my name the entire time?”
“If you ever became a human 101,” the blond began, slumped into the curled fingers cupped protectively against the giant’s chest. “Don’t ever make a sound until you know a trusted giant is around.”
“How the hell did you know it was me?”
“Dude, I can smell you from a mile away. We need to get Fritz from Freddy, though.”
The idea of Eggs apparently smelling him left his mind the second the human he specifically went looking for was brought up. “Freddy as in…”
Eggs gave him a look like he was losing it. “Fazbear? How many Freddy’s do you know!”
David rolled his eyes. Dropped the blond into his suit pocket. Made his way over to the animatronics locked on stage. “How would I immediately assume Freddy Fazbear had him.”
“Because despite that fact he’s your employee,” said bear begun with a growl, David left frozen at the hostile tone. “You allowed someone to grab him right in front of you.”
“Have anything to say for yourself, David?” Chica added, looking smug as hell.
David. Demeaning and angry attitudes. He had forgotten not all locations were like his animatronics, programmed to address everyone formally by last name and be nothing more than passive aggressive.
“It’s busy,” the giant bristled. “And I realized he was missing and went looking for him. Now hand him over.”
Freddy’s ears flicked unhappily, but his paw offered the redhead as Bonnie snipped “Shit wouldn’t have let either of them get swiped.”
“Well I’m not Mike. Your fucked up night guard will be back by tonight.”
The animatronics didn’t say anything else as he walked away. Or maybe they had, and he was too focused on checking Fritz over for injuries.
“Mr. Harrison, I’m fine,” told him the human had been more shaken up than he let on, voice wavered and hands shook as his prodding fingers were shoved away. “Thank you for finding us.”
“Thanks for trapping me in a pocket, bitch!”
Scott agreed to forcing the two to have a time out once they were put where they belonged. It wasn’t able to be long, not with the party still scheduled for another hour, but David didn’t let any of the three out of his sight after that.
That’s what lands them to now, with him frozen at the door after walking in for their weekly get-together after Eggs called over to him.
“Harrison, is that a new perfume?”
David mentally stumbles over his words until he finally manages a few. “You can smell it from there?”
He can barely see where the blond stands on a table several feet away. He’d be impressed if he wasn’t unnerved and hoping it was guessed purely to try and get inside his head.
He can’t even confirm the miniscule head is tilting in confusion. “Uh, yeah?”
No fucking way.
“No you can’t.”
“Still an earthy smell like your other one,” Scott joins in, freezing David in his tracks once again. “There’s a really small hint of vanilla instead of chocolate. Vince would be the one who can name the flower if he was here tonight, but that’s different too.”
How in the hell-
“Please tell me it’s not on your wrists,” Fritz pipes up if a bit tiredly.
“What’s that supposed to mean!”
At the sound of him being almost distraught, everyone at the table looks over at him, the humans exchanging looks.
“David,” Scott probes. His gentle tone encourages the giant to finally walk the last stretch to the table. “Do you realize just how much your cologne affects us?”
“No.”
“Vince told me he addressed it with you on your first day,” the human deadpans.
David can believe that. He’s also aware of how much the purple man is a bitch.
“I had also made a comment…” Eggs prods.
Yes. Though it was small. And again, he can’t trust the blond for shit.
Scott face palms as frustration slowly appears. “I also told you when we first met.”
Now David does not remember that in the slightest.
The business man looks the information over in his head. Turns it this way and that. Comes to the conclusion the humans in their group including Fritz are being dramatic. Though it’s hard to explain knowing the key notes to his newest cologne, Eggs could’ve found out and did reckon before tonight just to mess with him.
Despite being silent before, James straightens up. “So, much like how our voices are loud even when we’re whispering, smells act in the same way.”
David doesn’t miss Fritz glancing between him and the horror guard. “Right. When giants wear cologne or perfume, it’s pretty potent. Sometimes gets a little overwhelming, especially around the wrists if we’re picked up.”
“Then it might be a good idea we’re conscious of not wearing too much. Never on the wrists.”
David knows what James was doing. This is how he explained humans shouldn’t be treated like a stress ball at least unknowingly, a calm and specific explanation so it’s easy to understand.
Of course, it works. He’ll change his habits concerning putting cologne on before leaving the house. “You’ll just have to deal with it tonight.”
“Because James said something,” Scott snaps.
“Be happy I'm listening at all.”
“Because you never do!” the eldest guard exclaims, standing up as he begins to gesture. “I guarantee Fritz brought up not being able to breathe at least three times before giving up. I did bring it up and proved it when we first met, but you didn’t bother to even remember. Eggs constantly patronizes you with comments regarding it. But you don’t listen until a God damned giant tells you!”
Well I can trust a giant’s judgement, I can’t trust a human’s.
David nearly says it. And then he sees Fritz’s expression like he’d been betrayed.
“I…hadn’t realized,” the giant says carefully.
Scott narrows his eyes. Eggs makes a motion that says ‘bullshit’.
“In the future,” David sighs. “I will try to listen better.”
“Bet $50 it’ll last a week at the most.”
“$100 it’s two,” the business man immediately fires back at the smug looking blond.
“I’ll give it a day,” Scott snarls.

Your words are: PERFUME, DIRE, BEAT, & FRACTURE.
My words were: noon, neat, nurture, and nose & lovely, frantic, hit, and manage. Excerpt origin listed under each. Hidden under the cut.
(After)noon
I tip my head forward so our lips just touch in what can barely be called a kiss.
Light trickles in from the window, late afternoon sunlight that makes the silver in his veins glow and burn. His lazily blinking eyes are alive with golden light, making him every bit as eternal on the outside as he is to me every single moment of every single day. When I pull away, he follows, leaning into another kiss.

Neat
“Do you have a calendar?”
Her head tilts to the side. I’m opening my mouth to tell her to forget it, but then she’s rolling her eyes again and pulling a 15-month flip calender from her bag, images of puppies staring up at me. “You doubt me. I’m offended.”
Flipping through, I find December-- a cocker spaniel in a Santa hat-- already filled in with her neat handwriting. December 16th is circled in red. The showcase. Probably the most important performance of the season and the cleanest time to fold back into the company. She’s right. (Of course.)

Nurture
What’d she wish for?
“She wished for a garden full of things green and growing and vibrant. A garden bursting with lives she could nurture and take care of.”
- Secondary Series
Nose
"You're staring." I refocus to find his tired fond eyes searching my own face. One of his hands finds the nape of my neck and tugs gently at the hair there until we're nose to nose. "Creeper."
I laugh, the sound loud as always, but he doesn't even flinch, just leans in and presses our swollen lips together. "Your creeper," I mumble when he pulls away.
He tugs my hair again. "Yeah."

Lovely
I found a pair of scissors in one of the bathroom drawers. Of course, I look lovely. I’ve remade my own clothes a thousand times over because none of them fell quite right. Maybe the slit up my thigh, cut down the center of the square neck, and layered high collar underneath still aren’t. But they’re at least closer.
- Secondary Series
Frantic
“Can you get onto your knees for me?” The nodding is more frantic now, followed by him trying to flip onto his stomach with me still on top of him. “Woah. Hold on. There’s no rush.”
- Animatronic Saga Short Story
Hit(ting)
Something snapped at my wrist and for one delicate moment, I just stared up into the most beautiful pair of eyes I’d ever seen, suspended, floating, flying.
Rrrip! And then I was falling falling falling
with no chance of ever hitting the bottom.
- Animatronic Saga
Manage
And like the American Dream, I get a basket with sticky handles. The balance required to stop for groceries on crutches is no small feat, nor is the fact that I manage to knock at least one item off of every shelf.
