“And the Witcher is as grumpy as you, but at least he has the excuse of being older than dust.”

“Jesper…” Inej frowned.

“Oh come on, Inej!” Jesper insisted. “You liked them too.”

Inej looked from one man to the other. “They were… Interesting.” She finally spoke. 

“No.” Kaz proclaimed. “Never again.”

“Oh come on!” Jaskier frowned. “They were perfectly lovely.”

“No.” Yennefer snorted. “I can agree that Inej is too good to be walking around with those two, but that’s it.”

“Geralt made a friend.” Jaskier insisted.

The witcher just gave him a murderous look.

Yennefer smirked. “Between the two of us, his social abilities are already stretched thin. He can’t make more friends.”

“But they were nice!” Jaskier insisted one more time, because he felt it was the truth.

“Oh for fuck’s sake.” Yennefer snapped. “If I say they were nice, will you stop talking about them?”

“We should visit.” Jaskier decided.

“No.” Geralt growled immediately.

Well RIP to my bookmarks because I just noticed that so many of my favourite fics have been deleted or made anonymous/put in a collection. Thought it would be fun to do this anyway.

Also apparently I managed to post this when it wasn't done (can you tell technology doesn't like me?) And for some reason I couldn't edit the original post (and what's up with that??). So uh, if anyone had liked the first post I deleted it because I got annoyed.

Crossover Rp - Grishaverse| Six of Crows/Shadow and Bone and Another Fandom

Hey I am kind if desperate to do some kind of to do some king of crossover Rp involving the Six of Crows characters and another fandom we both agree on. I have a full list of my fandoms I will put son here below. Any ships I want to keep within fandoms and I wasn’t to keep the characters within their own lore unless necessary etc, for example I really don’t want anyone asking for us to play characters from Six of Crows as characters from other fandoms and no comparing the characters from Sic of Crows to characters from other fandoms either, especially villains, it makes my uncomfortable, especially when Kaz, he’s too good for that and I desperately want to play Kaz for this.

For Kaz only ship I am comfortable with is Kanej, no exceptions sorry. I have a la list of ships and the characters I can play for other fandoms I will also put below, we can discuss which fandom to crossover with. If interested leave me a comment here or pm me, preferably both. If we’re playing more than one character each from each fandom we can discuss how we split that I am absolutely comfortable discussing who plays who outside of Kaz and Inej and I much prefer my rp partner to play Inej and I have a stronger muse for Kaz. I tend to lean into Kaz’s trauma and PTSD, etc, like I feel bad for him yes but he wouldn’t be him without that backstory so please be fine with me doing this.

1. Who is your favourite character in 2?

No question, it's Jaskier. My absolute baby. The main character. There is no one else.

2. Who is your least favourite character in 1?

Can I pick Kang since he manipulated Loki even when he was in the TVA and not in the sacred timeline? And everyone else he controlled.

3. What's your favourite episode of 4?

Episode 5. It's very Riley-centric and he's my fave from this show. He deals with a lot this episode.

4. What is your favourite season of 5?

Lmao, I could go out on a limb and say S2, but since we don't even have a trailer yet, I'm gonna stick with S1.

5. What's your favourite relationship in 3?

Wesper. A close second is Kanej. But Wesper are my absolute fave.

6. Who is your anti relationship in 2?

Not really into Yenralt on their own. As a poly with Jaskier, yes. Mainly, that ship needs more Jaskier in it.

7. How long have you watched 1?

I've watched through twice completely and watched various parts over and over on occasion.

8. How did you become interested in 3?

The show came out on Netflix. We watched the first episode. Partner didn't like it. I went away and starred reading the books, then went back and watched the show. Then I realised I was missing something, which was Six of Crows and I started reading those books, too.

9. Who is your favourite actor in 4?

Hamish Linklater is amazing. The way he plays John/Paul is so good.

10. Which show do you prefer 1, 2 or 5?

Oooh, hard one. At the moment, with a bi bard becoming an actuality that will be shown-on-screen canon, I'm gonna go with The Witcher.

Of course, we have lots of queer rep in OFMD but I'm very obsessed with Jaskier, if you can't tell.

11. Which show have you seen more episodes of 1 or 3?

There are more episodes in Shadow and Bone, so that one.

12. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?

Warren Flynn. I live.

13. How would you kill off your favourite character in 5?

Buttons sets fire to the ship in a last ditch attempt to distract the big bads and let everyone escape, before he dives into the welcome arms of the sea.

14. Would a 3/4 crossover work?

Saints and God. Alina having to go to Crockett Island to get an amplifier, which is the Angel.

Or Saints vs God. Each side trying to wow more followers by having better miracles.

Could be something in it.

15. Pair two characters in 1 that would make an unlikely, but strangely okay couple.

Okay, total crack. Casey and Miss Minutes.

16. Overall, which show has the better cast, 3 or 5?

That's difficult because I love, love, love the Six of Crows characters, but I have to say Our Flag Means Death has a great cast overall.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I do as often as I can, but while I read them all I don’t always have time or energy for replies

6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I haven’t written any such endings, tbh.  I’m too much of a sucker for happy endings (and I don’t mean that sexually).  Plus, aside from one-shots, I haven’t finished any of my fics yet.  They’re all works in progress.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Both of my one-shots, mainly because no other fics have endings yet xD

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not yet, and I hope I never do.  I already have self-esteem issues related to a combo of abuse lasting from 6-7ish through 15/16 and bullying from as far back as preschool up through those same years.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I do on occasion, when the mood strikes.  The fluffy kind that involves 18+ only.  All lovey and shit.  Little bit of kink to it but nothing hardcore.  No slapping, degradation, humiliation, etc.  No underage of any kind, no scato/uro/necro/emeto type paraphilias, no cheating.

Hell if I know.  It may take me forever and a day, but I do intend to finish all my fics one way or another.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Uhm…. not sure on this one. I'm too harsh a critic of myself to be able to accurately answer this.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I refuse to write fics that involve cheating or love triangles, especially those involving any main characters of said fic. A little jealousy here and there is the most I'll do, and not with any regularity.  I have ONE fic that involves active abuse and only included the bare minimum necessary for that.  (It’s the Billy/OC fic I mentioned above.)  I can’t and won’t do more than the minimum, b/c it’s a triggery subject for me so I have to be very careful with reading or writing such subject matter. I also feel like people may not enjoy my smutty scenes as much as they do other writers', because I don't do the heavy BDSM (spit, slapping, spanking, degradation, humiliation, etc) that so many others do.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I’m only fluent in English, so I’d need the help of Google Translate for that.  I’ve used it for RP stuff, but not in fic writing yet.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

I can’t remember exactly.  First fandom RP was… I -think- Star Wars.  First published fanfic was Stranger Things (Running Away, Running Toward).  First fandom writing at all… ummm… maybe some Disney thing or other when I was a kid?  I’m not entirely sure.

This is like asking me to pick which of my 4 cats is my favorite hahahahaha.  But also, I regularly question my skills as a writer, b/c self-esteem issues.  >.>

Dialogue, I’d say. I think it sounds more natural than in many translations. I also work very hard on noticing if the author had any sort of motive and on keeping it. That’s a part of why I like Alinej so much - finding all the words with secondary connotations of light and sunshine is so much fun!

What are your writing weaknesses?

Changing the sentence structure to make it sound Russian is the hardest part. Sometimes a sentence is grammatically correct, but it is just too English!

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

YESSS MORE. I adore every fic that has Natasha speak Russian, even if it’s incorrect. It’s just so cute!

Your First Fandom: Harry Potter? I think. The first book series I distinctly and very clearly remember reading and immediately wanting the next chapter, and book.

How did you first get into fandom?: I discovered fanfiction on an absolutel random daly searching for fanart of a (very niche) then fandom of mine. And from there I just fell into the metaphorical rabbit hole.

How long have you been engaging in fandom spaces?: Oh... eight years or so. Mostly hainging happily in my own little corner are becoming active for The Rings of Power, Shadow and Bone and The Witcher (because the AWAU by @inexplicifics is my Witcher canon now, so yes, the Witcher)

How often do you read fanfic?: Daily, it's an integrated part of my evenings.

Silmarillion: Maedhros, Fingon, uh... Elrond, the Sons of Feanor in general, Celebrimbor and Maeglin... and Gil-galad, obviously. (For the Rings of Power it's Elrond, Adar, Gil-galad, Halbrand, Celebrimbor and Durin)
