I've been thinking about something regarding plant magic. There are no deserts in the Boiling Isles, so cacti and succulents are probably unheard of there. Hypothetically, Willow could have studied cacti during her time in the human realm, and could have invented an entirely new form of plant magic using this knowledge. Sort of like how Toph invented metalbending in "Avatar the Last Airbender." I can totally see Willow fighting the plant coven head in cactus armor.

Willow Park:

Willow is so great. At the start of the series she's treated like your typical, sweet shy kind friend, but we also see that she has more to her than that. And as the series goes on she becomes a total badass. She becomes the muscle of the group and I love that. She is extremely gifted in plant magic and when she's actually allowed to pursue plant magic, she begins to thrive. She's such a great character who goes through a lot of growth and I just think she's really neat.

More commonly known as “Empress Hecate”

Or “Luz”

Child of The Titan AU

that’s literally what it’s called, sue me.

Okay, so this is the part where I talk about this AU. If you wanna know more, keep reading! If you don’t, well uh, leave?

This won’t be long cause I’m not going over the whole story. Lol.

Background:

If you’re too lazy to read, allow me to summarize it. Luz is captured by Belos, and she believes that Eda and the others will come to save her.

But in COTT (Child of the Titan AUGH I like this name), Luz is not saved. A year later, a rebellion forms, and it’s led by the Clawthrone sisters and they’re ready to end Belos’ tyranny. But they’re also consistently looking for Luz. Eda searches for three more years until she forces herself to stop as it’s becoming unhealthy. Then, the rebellion organizes an attack on the throne. They fight, yada yada, Belos dies. They search for Luz a little while before they’re swarmed by scouts, and they’re tired from fighting Belos, so they leave. Thinking that they won.

I won’t talk about what happened to Luz in that span of time, as you might find out when I write the fic.

I will say five things;

1. Hecate can use magic like a witch, but it’s unstable and requires a lot of energy.

2. Palismen. BUT! Stringbean!!!

3. Hecate hates everyone, and everything expect for Hunter. Hunter’s okay. 👍

4. She wants to make the Isles better.

5. She wants to go home, and won’t hesitate if she has to fight anybody in the Rebellion.

Speaking of the Rebellion, let’s go over who’s all in it, shall we?

The Rebellion

(Raine couldn’t come up with a better name, and neither can I)

Luz noceda~

has 100% made you read all of the azura books ATLEAST once

has started teaching you spanish because she thought it would be cute if you two had your own cute lil conversations without over people over hearing

always pestering amity on relationship advice

the owl house is basically your second home by now

hooty can never leave you both alone for more than 5 minutes when your with each other

tries to hide whats going on with belos from you but you figure it out pretty quick because she is a BADDDD liar

she just doesn't want you to worry <3

AMAZING at cheering you up, honestly she would throw herself off a cliff just to hear you do that little cry laugh thing

Amity blight~

she is constantly worrying she is not good enough for you

please give this poor girl some love and reassurance

based on the past person she was she is terrified that one day you will realise there are better people and will never speak to her again

even if your not in the track, abomination magic has become a big part of your life

sometimes at school she gets an abomination to follow you around and carry your bags and stuff when she is not avaliable

she thinks its sweet and endearing

you think its terrifying but don't have the heart to tell her

literally gulps down your praise

"you really think i did good?"

she is so proud of herself after that

she cares about you SM

lucky bitch

your safety always becomes before hers and sometimes she forgets to do certain things for herself because she is to occupied with worrying about you

Willow park~

loves gardening with you

honestly you were clueless about how to diffrentiate (did i spell that right?) different types of trees

but ever since dating her you know the label and scientific name of ever plant that's ever grown

good for you boo <3

always is slightly self concious around you

always trying to smooth down her hair

but DAMN this girl is STRICT

if you play a sport or any type of activity that involves potential injury, you better expect her to be wrapping you in bubble wrap the moment you leave that field

if you were trying to impress her with your skills and get hurt, she will scold you the entire time she is fixing your injury, but secretly finds it cute

she will find simple little things to brighten your day like leaving cute little potted plants on your desk before class

Gus porter~

THE MOST supportive boyfriend to ever grace this earth

you wanna try something new? go ahead he will be excited to hear how you liked it

you wanna try out a new sport? he will be cheering you on at every practice and game in the stands

definately owns one of those shirts that say "i love my bf/gf"

tries so hard to impress you

he wants to be the perfect boyfriend for you so if you show interest in the slightest thing then boom you own a whole collection of items related to that interest and he has learnt everything there is to know about it off witchapedia

loves watching you use your magic

it interests him

learns so many different jokes just to make you laugh and smile everyday

Boscha (i only just realised she doesn't have a last name)~

oh god how do i even start this

can be super clingy one minute, but then acts as if she is used to the attention from you and couldn't care less

she takes it upon herself to be your protector

even if its from a potential splinter

BIG on pet names

babe,baby,darling,sweetheart, yk

"heh did you see that babe? i totally just saved you from that rogue grudgby ball"

speaking of grudgby, as cliche as it sounds she has bought you a jersey that has her name on it for when she plays grudgby

honestly dies of happiness when she hears you shout "that's my girlfriend!"

always lends you her jacket when your cold, even when she is freezing herself she is way to stubborn to take it back

or she just lets you wear it around the school hallways so everyone knows the coolest girl in school is your girlfriend

when she is ruling hexside, she keeps an eye on you, no matter where you are in the room, her third eye is always on you

she is terrified she is going to lose you like she did the others

lets you sit on her lap when she is on the throne

Hunter deamonne~

he is literally the definition of acts of service

the biggest gentlemen ever

holds open every door, pulls out your chairs for you, literally he could be your slave

gets red VERY easily

when you give him praise he practically melts

found it hard to open up to you about his past but when he does he feels a huge relief

now he tells you literally everything

you totally gossip together all the time

he loves training with you, it's never serious and he can see your magic in action

you are honestly his everything

he loves playing with your hair too

is honestly so good at doing hair, he has learnt how to get the perfect rounded bun

~Hunter Headcanons~

- Hunter took the last name Noceda-Deamonne. First just Noceda when Luz said he was her family, then Deamonne after he moves in with Darius.

- Hunter moves in with Darius a couple months after traveling between Camila's house and the Boiling Isles. Eventually, Darius sees him as his son.

- Once he marries Willow, he takes the last name Park.

- Hunter moved in with Darius and began learning palisman carving after Eda suggested him learning from Dell.

- Hunter has dyed strips of his hair red in remembrance of Flapjack at least once. Amity helped with this.

- Hunter has scars on his hands from his coven time. He wore gloves to hide them. Ik this isn't canon let me have this.

- Thinks of Gus as his younger brother.

- Enjoys cooking for Willow.

- A bisexual ICON!

- He LOVES BI history and how magic has evolved. He studies glyphs with Luz and they go on tangents about it.

- At Hexside, Hunter studies every track at first because he doesn't know what he is interested in since he was never allowed to study magic. After a year, he switches to the Beast keeping, Healing, and Plant tracks. He takes Beast keeping due to being a future animal carver, Healing because he wants to repair the damage he feels he did during his coven time, and Plant because of his interest in restoring the BI and carving.

- Rejoined the Emerald Entrails.

- At the University of Wild Magic, he double majors in BI History and Ancient Glyphs & Combos with a minor in Curses 101.

- Has many palismen. Starts with waffles and somehow increasingly grows. For sure one is a wolf. He loves them all and they follow him.

- As an older adult, does seminars for the schools on palistrom carving and BI History.

- May add more <3

Hi I guess this is my 2 cents on your save file wip:

Usually when I do my own renovation I would limit the packs to just the ones that's related to the world I'm building on (base game + get together if it's on Windenburg) plus essential packs that most people will likely have (Seasons & Pets & free stuff), but definitely won't use the whole catalog of every packs I own in each world.

So, say if a person doesn't have the vampires pack, then they'd be safe when playing with other worlds that they do have access to because all the vampires content are confined to Forgotten Hollow. It will be rather limiting but from my experience it did give me some room to experiment with stuff I won't usually use :)

This is a very good approach! I considered doing this, but since I'm only renovating 1 base game world in the file, I don't want to limit myself to certain objects and not be able to capture the vision I'm going for.

So for anyone who's interested, I've decided to use free CC (where necessary, mainly build CC) to build my lots, instead of doing a bunch of CC-free TOOL magic with a million packs/kits (how I'm used to building). That way I can limit packs to ones with major functionality, instead of having 83,082 kits required because I wanted to use a few plants

Currently I know I'll be using Seasons, City Living, GTW (retail), Dine Out (restaurant), Eco Lifestyle (community space) and Get Together (cafe). *maybe* High School Years if I find the energy to build a school

I'm also using Zerbu's Venue Changes Mod and Spawn Refresh, which allow multi-purpose lots (it is revolutionary), so if people don't have the packs that belong to those lot types, they can still use the lots as libraries/museum, parks, lounges/bars or something else functional!

All the CC/mods needed will be linked in the post when the file's done. And any debug world decorations from other packs I'll make BGC (after all it's just set dressing). My reasoning is that since it's a save file, only PC players can use it anyway: so everyone who uses the save can download CC. But someone who only has the base game can still have 99% of the lots completely furnished and playable, they just have to switch the lot type!

also a sidenote: we're in willow creek now 😎 bc it has more lots than newcrest

and i learned how to edit strings/world maps, so 'Crest Harbor' (working title, don't really like it; suggestions welcome) will have its own special map & loading screen (this screenshot is unedited, i desaturated the BG map as a test).

'Crest Harbor' is also it's own world (though on the loading screen it's icon is identical to Willow Creek, unless i can figure out how to change it, since it's a clone made with Zerbu's Copy Worlds mod)

sorry this is post is so long lol, once i started typing my thought processes i couldn't stop. and posting updates keeps me motivated to keep working on it, so brace for more annoyingly long posts soon
