I noticed that I never posted my third Ori fanart here, so there you go. ♥ Cute little Ku, during the hearbreaking scene early at the beginning of “The Will of the Wisps”, where the little one stares at the birds taking wing, yearning to fly as well.
If you've seen my Kuro artwork, you may notice that I used similar colors to said painting, to create a connection between them.
You can find a close-up photo and some work in progress pictures of my painting process if you keep reading. :)
Watercolor nature scenes are well underway! This week's goal is to practice painting in these themed test sketches that represent the full scenes themselves to see which ideas might take root, and which I'll need to work on a little more before I can turn them into full paintings. Lots of new original scene ideas here, but I've also a few Travels with Qrow RWBY watercolor ideas too! I hope these all turn out beautifully! Wish me luck!
Do people post videos on tumblr? 😅 Anyways, here’s the sketch to finished watercolor of these two angels! (Minus Kokabiel’s headwings that I have to splice in)
My ask box is open if you have painting (of OC related) questions!
Another "Ori and the Blind Forest" Fanart I painted in January. :)
I wanted to capture a place from the games that drove me nearly mad – the infamous Ginso Tree. *laughs* I don’t remember how often I failed the initial jumps – and let’s not talk about the dramatic escape, later when the tree gets flooded.
You can find some WIP photos if you keep reading. ♥
