my feet were hurting so much for so long and according to my googling it was due to lack of arch support so I got better shoes and it didn't help and now I'm on day two of wearing arch support braces and oh my god. the difference it's making. never going back.

#even just wearing them rn i'm standing to do dishes in just socks and the braces #and my feet don't hurt from standing at the sink #love it. walked my dog with no pain didn't realize how nice it is #they're nice and light so i can wear my converse again :) like they fit in my existing shoes #and i don't need to worry about the lack of support in converse because that #is what the braces are for. insoles were so uncomfortable #and yesterday the first day i was wearing these I was like well they aren't super comfy #but google also says it can take up to two weeks to get used to orthotics #so i should stick it out before deciding it's not for me #and now the literal next day i'm just marvelling at the lack of pain in my feet #wild lol

There's really no reason for this post but on Sunday I got to go to a roller derby scrimmage that was entirely A-Level gameplay- for players who intend to put together a state wide league for higher level players to compete against one another. I was absolutely petrified to go and felt like I was nowhere near their skill level and has no business being there (my teammate and I carpooled- it was so fun) and ended up not only enjoying myself during the scrimmage but holding my own and keeping up with them pretty well!!

My endurance is pretty shit (bad news for being a jammer lmao) and plan on adding more cardio or HIT workouts to my routine to include more cross training for myself this year- but goddamn that was terrifying but also so much fucking fun

I’m a massive skeptic right kjfdbkjdf but the One time I ever did a working i guess “against” someone else and not just doing work on myself it was so wild. I did a very simple ritual involving the sigil of my patron demon just asking without bringing her harm to get my mother in law to back off just for a while. I was losing my mind and needed a break so badly lol

she had been a very literally nonstop complete mess of ugly triggering screaming and complaining for a year. but the next morning, very first thing she comes up to me CRYING and wanting to hug me and saying that she had a dream her dead father had come to her to tell her she needed to relax and all this deep shit.
